Gonna start saying that if they’d actually defeated Chuck in 15x19 the saturation would’ve gone down just like in 4x17/4x23

Gaz fluff? He's so underrated
i love gaz! he's so handsome 🥹
gaz loves to watch horror films with you. especially on thundering nights where the sky is dark and murky.
each jumpscare, you see him jolting, gasping before excusing himself and playing it off as a ‘cough’ – anything to beat the allegations...
the only reason he even offered to watch this was so he could feel like he was protecting you, but soon enough, you were protecting him. sitting closely beside him and holding him against your chest, allowing him to look away and hide in your chest whenever a jumpscare came up.
you could hear his breathing getting heavier when ominous music was played, preparing himself to be terrified.
and he definitely played it off as a ‘joke’ and said that he was just doing it because he thought you were scared, not him!
... totally not him!

One Dress a Day Challenge
February: Coeli's Monochrome Picks
The Awful Truth / Irene Dunne as Lucy Warriner
One of the things I love about black and white movies is these bold designs on clothing. It feels like you don't see that so often in color movies, or maybe it just pops more in B&W because of the high contrast. The shape of this dress is also unique, as is the scarf/cravat effect in front. You might say this is the "quirky 1930s," as opposed to the sleek "classic 1930s" look from yesterday.
Costumes for this movie were designed by (Robert) Kalloch.

There's No Such Thing as Narrative Truth
I have been thinking a lot about fan spaces and how media is often consumed by a large amount of people, but comes out on the other side varied and different. I often feel like I tend to see content in a slightly different light than some of my friends who consume the same thing, coming from my experiences as a writer and filmmaker.
So here’s what I’ll say about other people interpreting your work. They are right.
There’s a difference between intention and interpretation, so while you are fully in your right to claim the intention of your work, you cannot claim how it should be interpreted, that’s up to your reader. This is important to remember if a group of readers give you the same feedback around how they interpreted a part of your work. Whether you wanted to evoke what it did or not, they still came away with that thought regardless.
That’s why there’s no such thing as narrative truth. You do not hold the only truth, there are multitudes of truths created by every individual to read your work, and we just have to accept that not everyone will see it how we do.
This also applies to work that you enjoy with others that’s not your own. Your friends may interpret a media in a different way than you do—they are just as right as you, even if they’re “wrong”.
That being said, if you’re getting feedback that multiple people are coming away with the same interpretation that you didn’t intend, it may take some editing in that area to help guide the reader towards the interpretation you’d like them to come away with. Our job as writers is to guide readers towards the emotional experience we’d like them to have—it’s valid to take feedback and rewrite to get closer to that. Though it may not be possible to get every single reader on the exact same wavelength--that's just part of it.
What are your thoughts about "narrative truth"? Who is ultimately responsible for interpretation?
