Maybe because Anna has flaws, makes mistakes in her movie and she wasn’t meant to be a self insert like rapunzel was? Who’s surprised that the bland character that people heavily project to and have no flaws is more liked than a real character?
Not only do rapunzel stans cry over Elsa and trash her character because she’s way more popular than their fav, they also do the same thing to Anna as well. Won’t change the fact that they are both iconic characters with a beloved movie that is in the top ten on streaming platforms. Can’t say the same for their favs movie. Also, you can tell that they are salty about Anna being more popular of the two here because she says that Anna isn’t a beloved character lol. Rapunzel stans love to lie to themselves.
Edit: I just read the rest of this dumbass thread because people are jumping her saying that she watched frozen with her eyes closed (they were right. After all, tangled stans do it with their own fav movie). Outside of the typical “dollar store Ariel is the best because I can project random things onto and she has no flaws while I can’t with the rest of the princesses” shit rapunzel stans like to use, this dummy said something else that pissed me and others off. She said that Anna wasn’t abused while Elsa was! Are you fucking kidding me? Anna was! She was neglected by her parents, wasn’t allowed to go anywhere outside the palace and she had no one to talk to! This is abuse. Also, this is exactly why Anna acts the way she does! She ready to get married to the first guy who treats her nicely because she’s so desperate to be loved and have a friend. It’s obvious going by the movie but hey, what do I expect from a girl who thinks that a bland self interest that isn’t at all affected by her upbringing is a good character.

꓄ꋪꍏꌚꀍꎇꀤꋪꏂ
As the red shadows retreated and the lights in the basement flickered back on, Yoongi had taken the shell-shocked Emily into his arms, holding her tight and letting his shoulder shield her eyes. “That’s my girl,” he praised, his tone low and loving and utterly nonchalant. “I’m so proud of you.”
After a long, heavy moment of silent reflection, she mumbled, “For what?”
“What else, dummy? For seeing this through with me. For getting rid of our miserable fucking excuses for parents.” He looked down at her with nothing but an indecipherable grin before pressing a silent kiss to the crown of her head. “You did great.”
Her first instinct was to feel flattered, to accept his sweet nothings without question, but then something about what he’d just said clashed in her head with something else she remembered him saying seven years ago on a night just like this one, in the aftermath of her very first ritual. “But…I didn’t do anything, right? I mean, technically it was the demon who…”
His smile was only accompanied by a warm chuckle as he played with strands of her hair. “Yes, you’re right, I’m sorry,” he dismissively said, and to her guilty conscience it almost sounded like sarcasm. “You’ve done nothing wrong at all, have you? My innocent little butterfly.”
Word Count: 2.1k
And yet, there was something the demon had whispered to her during the rite that she couldn’t get out from under her skin. Something about ‘her volitionless puppet over there’ and how she would no doubt go crying to him ‘like a snivelling hypocrite’ after it was all said and done. The sickening sigil he bore on the back of his neck… She was the only human alive who knew about it; he couldn’t see it even when she tried to show him. Wondering in vain about what it could possibly represent had kept her awake at night for the past seven years—it got so bad at one point that she’d started to wonder if it was all just a delusion—but now her main theory had finally been confirmed thanks to the passing jab from her little friend on the other side.
Her next absence seizure was the only thing saving her from spending the rest of her life knowing she’d cursed her brother to be her scapegoat, acting not by free will but by her own deepest, darkest, most shunned desires so that she would never have to dirty her own hands.
“Alright, let’s get these good-for-nothing sacks of flesh filleted and up to the kitchen, yeah?” he said, squeezing her shoulder once before setting to work untying the bleeding bodies from the support post in the middle of the summoning circle.
“We’re eating them?” she inferred while reluctantly following his lead.
“Aren’t we?”
As she yanked their mom free of her candy-coloured restraints, she felt something. It was the slow, shallow expanding and collapsing of her lungs. She and their dad were still breathing.
Emily froze. This changed everything—everything she thought she had done and everything she feared she’d grown capable of. It might’ve relieved some of the weight of her own sins, but it also meant that the sins of her beloved weighed all the heavier. Every ritual she’d held, every sacrifice she’d made, he’d always been the one to dispatch what remained after the souls had been taken.
“Uh… Yeah…”
Thankfully her Oppa didn’t seem to give himself the chance to realise what she just had, wasting no time getting the butchering process underway. Snuffing out the flames of their parents’ lives once and for all.
He hid it well, but in reality Yoongi indeed had noticed the vital signs of life as well before taking his knife to them. He chose not to bring it up, however, as it seemed both unnecessary and counterproductive at this point. Over the past week, he’d watched her make so much progress in her ability to ‘kill’ without remorse through these sacrificial rituals. The main reason he encouraged her to undergo this ‘exposure therapy,’ as he called it, was because he was sure it would help her move on from her guilt of seven years ago. Even so, her grief aside, he couldn’t deny how proud of her he was. With each time she ‘took a life’ he saw more and more of himself shining through in her. If she ever found out she hadn’t actually killed anyone and that the one responsible for the deaths had been him all along, all that progress would be lost and there was no telling how her esteem for him would shift.
To his delight, as he dismembered, disembowelled, and decapitated the soulless creatures, she for once didn’t turn away. She watched quietly the entire time, almost looking like she wanted to offer her help but was holding herself back for some reason. He considered pressing her about it, but decided against it. He was happy enough just to see she could stomach the sight of it all.
“I’ll…go find some trash bags or something to carry them in,” she announced, not waiting for a reply before running upstairs.
Dinner went just about as smoothly as the sacrifice had. There was a home-grown vegetable garden in the backyard, which he used along with some side dishes they found in the fridge to make lettuce wraps. It was a feast fit for royalty, especially compared to their diet consisting of nothing but salt water that they’d been not sustaining off of for the past three months of isolation.
At least the kimchi covered up the smell of blood and gore for the most part.
“So…hypothetically, if we ended up having to go off the census completely after this,” she posed, “could you see us having a little veggie garden like the one here? Like, if we had to live out in the woods away from any supermarkets.”
“Mmh,” he hummed in agreement around a mouthful of their dad’s arm with a side of pickled radish. “I can picture that. We could grow all our own produce and hunt all our own, uh, meat. I can’t imagine growing your own rice could be all that hard, right?”
“Yeah…” Her tone dropped somewhat after his addition, the change too subtle for anyone but him to pick up on.
“Hey, don’t worry.” He let his own tone shift to something a little softer as he gave her a light nudge in the shoulder. “I doubt it’ll actually come to that. We have our money; all we need now are some fake IDs and we’ll be able to live out the rest of our lives as a normal couple.”
She stayed quiet for a few seconds even after his attempt to reassure her, not that her response offended him like it would have their parents on the rare occasion they’d ever felt a need to pacify her. “‘Normal…’” she echoed with an unsmiling scoff. “Yeah, okay.”
“Baby, you trust me, don’t you? Look at me,” he pressed gently and held her by the chin.
Even though the demon’s cruel revelation from earlier was as good as erased from her memory, when her eyes met his, she was still haunted by the gut feeling that something was wrong. Then again, she couldn’t recall a time in her life when that feeling hadn’t followed her everywhere she went.
“Yeah,” she sighed. “I trust you, Oppa.”
Once they’d packed away as much delicious nutrients as they could, Yoongi resumed the process of dealing with the remains while Emily watched timidly from the sidelines. “Uhm… Shouldn’t we be more careful not to make such a mess?” she asked. From the basement to the kitchen, there ran a copious trail of bloody puddles on the floor. “Since that’s how we did it in the apartment—I dunno.”
Her brother kept his gaze lowered. “Don’t worry about that; we won’t be leaving any traces behind this time.” He then clued her in by pulling his cigarette lighter from his pocket and holding it up. She gasped, but gave no reply other than that. “Hey, think you could go look for some propane tanks or something while I take care of this?”
“What?!” Her eyes widened, but she reminded herself how much she trusted him and relaxed to the best of her ability. “But how can we… H-How would that work? I mean, we’d have to light it from pretty close up, right?”
“Eh, we’ll figure it out as we go,” he shrugged. “If they’re too heavy for you, just leave them and tell me where you found them.”
“Okay…” The more she thought about it, she supposed she wouldn’t mind if they burned or suffocated to death at this point as long as they died together. “But what if we get caught inside and we can’t escape, and then someone around here calls the fire department and gets us out alive? They’re gonna know what happened, they’re gonna know what we’ve done… And then we’ll be—”
“Lily. It’s gonna be okay,” he interjected, stroking her cheek and tucking her hair back with a crimson-covered hand. She leaned into his touch. “I promise. Just relax and let Oppa take care of everything, okay? You don’t have to take on anything you can’t handle. Just…try not to overthink.” Like he was one to talk. “Why don’t we get cleaned up and changed now? The fire should do the rest of the work for us, and we can talk about whatever you want while we take our shower.”
Finally, for the first time since yesterday, a smile graced her features. “That sounds nice.”
As an experienced arsonist, he’d worked with propane once or twice before, but the circumstances were different now. Not only were supplies limited, but he had his little sister with him and was thus putting her at risk. Thankfully they both came out of it unscathed. She was resourceful enough to come up with an idea in the shower that would spare them. First he would put one gas tank in the basement and another in the living room, covering his face with a rag while he unsealed the nozzles. Then he would use whatever gunpowder was left in the warden’s pistol to create a fuse running from the porch to the living room.
Having to resist every nerve in her body telling her to run back and stay close to him, in the end, Emily complied with his wish for her to keep out of harm’s way and she waited in the lot where their stolen car was parked. She waited and waited. It seemed never-ending. What if he didn’t make it out? What would she do if she couldn’t follow him? But the moment she spotted smoke rising in the direction from which she had fled, the car door opened behind her and Yoongi climbed into the driver’s seat, making her jump.
“Aww, did I startle you?” he chuckled and placed a quick kiss on the bridge of her precious hooked nose. “Sorry to keep you waiting. You alright?”
“Yeah. Well, I am now,” she stammered, despite her heart still racing beyond reason. “I think…”
“That’s good.” He kissed her once more on the lips for good measure, letting it linger for a moment in the hopes of calming her down. This seemed to work; she gave a deep sigh and leaned into it, her shaky hands coming to rest on his lap until he broke away. “Let’s get out of here.”
The drive, aside from having no end in sight, felt strangely ordinary, like they were going on a regular road trip together and nothing more. Yoongi kept a clear head and a calm disposition as he navigated the deserted highways. It would have worried her if she weren’t aware of his impeccable ability to mask his own inner turmoil.
“Did you make sure our death certificates got destroyed?”
“Yes, and the neighbour’s letter saying that losing us was ‘a blessing in disguise.’” He rolled his eyes.
“And their faces?” she fretted. “What about their fingerprints? Wait, did you leave any of yours anywhere?”
“I was plenty thorough, sis, I promise,” he told her dismissively. “No one will be able to link this back to us, assuming they even bother to do an investigation. The world already thinks we’re dead after that god-forsaken operation they sold us into got burned to high hell.”
“Okay…” She couldn’t fathom that he could be so free of doubt in a situation like this. He didn’t use to be so sure of himself. It was probably for the best, though, considering how riddled with insecurity she tended to be. His self-assurance (or at least his facade of such) was the perfect counterbalance to her self-doubt—one of the infinite reasons she could never afford to be parted from him.

BAKUGOU’S MASTERLIST
“S-Slow down Suki!”
Your husband pounded into you at an alarming pace. Katsuki came home from work feeling a little frisky and so when their beloved son, Katsuo, was fast asleep, the couple decided to get it on. It was around four in the morning and you two had been going at it for an hour, already 3 orgasms in.
Your bodies were covered underneath the blanket as Bakugou rammed into you. His large arms held your torso close as your own wrapped around his neck. His aching member slipped in and out of you, head just kissing your cervix, as his heavy balls smacked against the swell of your ass. The sound in the room was terribly loud. The way your skin smacked against one another and your moans created a rough melody of sex. Thankfully, you lived in a rather large home and your son’s room was far, far away. Good thing he was a deep sleeper too.
“What’s wrong princess? Can’t handle it?” Katsuki teased with his hot breath against your neck. At your every cry to go slower (in fear of awakening your son) Katsuki sped up his rhythm.
“F-Fuck!” You screamed. Katsuki rose above you and captured your neck in his hand. He stayed close to you as his free hand went to your hip and brought you close to him while he slammed into you. The fast movements caused the bed frame to bang against the wall as Katsuki moaned into your ear.
“S-Shit baby! Oh fuck, you feel so good. So perfect wrapped around my cock.” He groaned in your ear. The immense pleasure and husky voice had your back arching, giving your husband the chance to wrap his arm under you and flip you both over. You tried to keep the blanket covering you both as you bounced up and down his dick, but failed as the fabric traveled down to only cover your lower ass.
As you bounced, Katsuki continued to thrust up into you. His hands held onto your ass and gave it a smack from time to time. “K-Katsuki! I’m gonna cum! Please! Mm, yes! Don’t stop!”
At the sound of your voice, Katsuki’s hands went straight to your clit and ferociously rubbed at it. His actions had you throwing your head back and your pussy clenching around him. Katsuki noticeably jumped a bit when you began to tighten around his cock.
“Oh baby! God you’re squeezing me so damn tight.” He said as he kissed your chest. “F-Fuck, gonna make me put another brat inside ya. You want that? Wanna be full of my seed? Give me another one, yeah?”
You nodded your head as your eyes filled with tears due to all the pleasure. His grip on your waist grew tighter as your legs began to shake. The sound of skin slapping sped up as you and Bakugou drew closer and closer to your climax.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck!” He screamed as you moaned loudly. You both came at the same time and to silence the both of you, Katsuki pulled you in for a kiss. You both moaned into it as your hips grinded on his dick. His hand squeezed at your ass again before giving it another smack and then soothing the stinging sensation with soft rubs.
You kiss would’ve continued had it not been for a sweet little voice coming from the doorway. “Dad?”
At the sound, Katsuki instantly jumped and flipped you both over again, covering your bodies with the large sheet. He layed atop of you while you looked away from your son. The blanket covered you both, leaving nothing but your heads exposed. “Katsuo! Hi son, what’re you..Uh what’re you doing up?”
“What’re you guys doing?” Your son asked with his doe eyes he inherited from you. Katsuki’s member throbbed from inside you and he grunted at the feeling.
“Umm...I was just- just...protecting Mom from villains!” You gawked at your husband for his idiotic response. Out of everything he could’ve said, he said that?!
“Cool! I wanna help!” Your son said starry eyed but when he took a step to come closer, Katsuki screamed out.
“N-No! Uh- no, it’s okay bud. She’s fine. Okay? Uh..please go back to your room and go back to sleep. Okay? Yes? Please?” Katsuki asked with a hurried voice. Your son only smiled and nodded before running back to his room.
You both visibly became less tensed as the two of you released relieved sighs. You turned your head to your husband who remained inside of you and slanted your eyes at him when he gave you a cheeky smile. “We sure got outta that one, huh?”
“Get the hell off of me Katsuki!” You said, pushing his face away from you. The shove caused Katsuki’s member to slip out of you and you gasped at the loss. Katsuki smirked down at you and you only grunted at him. “Really? Protecting me from villains? that’s the best that you could come up with?!”
“Well what was I supposed to say?!” He screamed.
“Uh, I DONT KNOW! Maybe, ‘Oh, Mommy’s just cold. Oh, we’re not doing anything son. Oh, THIS IS JUST A FUCKING DREAM!!’ I mean, c’mon Katsuki!” You said.
“Would you have rather had me tell him I was stuffing your pretty pussy?” He asked with a smirk. You rewarded him with a smack to his chest and a pointed finger.
“I don’t need your sarcasm.”
Katsuki only backed up a bit to see the wrecked sight of you and noticed the white cream leaking out of you and onto the bed. “Heh, what you need is for daddy to fill you up one more time.”
“Yeah right, your horny ass just wants to cum again.” You said with sass.
“Yeah, guess what? You’re right, so help me satisfy myself. Besides, you got to cum four times while I’m sitting at two,” he said while peppering your face in kisses from above. “At least let me have one more, baby.”
You smirked and this time it was you that flipped each other over. Katsuki sat up while you sat on his groin. “I’ll help you in another way, Daddy.”
You kissed his lips for a few seconds before moving south to go down on him. It has been awhile since you’ve tasted your husband so this should definitely excite him. Katsuki was definitely shocked but couldn’t stop the huge smile growing on his face. He watched you swallow his member and when you hummed with his cock sitting in your throat, he threw his head back.
“Fuck yes Princess.” His hand found way into your hair as he helped you bob your head up and down. Katsuki was in for a long, long morning.
Speaking of mornings, Katsuo was going to be having an exciting one. He had a morning play date with Kirishima’s son and the twin Todoroki sisters.
Akio, Kirishima’s son, came by early and so you were happy to see the two boys getting along so well, just like their fathers. With the exception of Katsuo being much more nicer than Katsuki of course. When you opened the door to greet your best friend, Momo, and her two daughters, you assured the girls that they’d have a fun time.
The twins ran in after greeting you and giving you a hug which left you a few minutes to speak to Momo before she left. You walked to the glass door that gave view of the kids in the backyard and noticed how Homura (the twin with red hair) had gone to play with Akio while Yukine (the twin with white hair) had been drawn to Katsuo.
You always noticed the little blush on your son’s face whenever Yukine came around. You thought his little crush on the icy-calm girl was absolutely adorable. “Kids!”
The little 5 year olds turned their heads to see you calling for them.
“Come inside, the movie’s almost on!” Seeing their faces perk up at the sound of the children’s movie, you giggled and motioned for them to come in. They all happily followed you and got comfy on the large couch. You placed a few snacks on the table for them before turning the T.V on. “Alright Katsuo. You’re the oldest and Mommy has some training to do. Daddy’s upstairs working if you need anything but if you’re all set, can I trust you to keep everything steady in here?”
“I promise Mom!” Your young boy joyously said. You gave him a warm smile before pecking his cheek and walking to the master bedroom to change. You walked in to find your husband on his laptop finishing his reports on the bed.
You walked to your dresser and pulled out a bathing suit. This caught your husband’s attention and had him smirking in the corner. “If you put that on, I’m assuming that’s an invitation for me to rail you~”
You giggled at his wording before walking to him and giving him a quick peck. “It’s for training dummy. I’m gonna head downstairs to the pool and workout with my water bending.”
Katsuki still held his smirk as he pushed away his laptop and pulled you into his lap. You were a bit jumpy but nonetheless settled while straddling his lap. “I have another idea for a workout and if you’re wondering, it does involve bending.”
He pulled you in for a few sweet kisses before you hovered your lips above his own to speak. You smiled as you placed your hands on his chest to keep the horn dog at bay. “What is with you recently? First it’s you coming home to fuck me stupid and now it’s getting riled up from me just holding a bikini.”
“Can you blame me? I married the most beautiful woman in the world, so please believe I’m gonna take full advantage of that.” He replied. You chuckled a bit before he pulled you in for more kisses and a little heated make out session. Your tongues came in contact and began tangling as he took you by your ass and had you grind down on him.
“Mm..Suki, stop,” you said with a laugh as you pulled away. “Seriously, there’s kids downstairs and we definitely don’t want a repeat of what happened last night with our own.”
Bakugou just huffed and groaned while slumping in his spot. You knew he wasn’t mad because as you got off of him and walked the the bedroom door, you looked back at him to see him smiling at you with eyes that carried all the love in the world. You smiled back before walking downstairs.
As you walked down the hall, you hummed a little happy tune to yourself. You love your little family so much. Your beloved husband and your precious son meant the world to you. Nothing could ruin your mood. At least, that’s what you thought before a loud smack interrupted your humming. Your head snapped to the sound and you immediately ran to the living room to check up on the kids.
“Are you sure you’re doing it right, Katsuo?” Yukine’s sweet voice said.
“Yeah, yeah. I think my Dad went like..this? *SMACK*” Yukine released a little yelp at the hit and that was when you caught sight of everything.
“Uh, guys?” You asked while walking into the scene. “Is everything alright in- AHHHH!”
You walked in to find Homura and Akio in the kitchen putting plates away and your son and Yukine on the couch. What made you scream was the fact that Yukine was straddling your son’s lap and you just witnessed Katsuo smack her behind. You immediately ran to the two and picked Yukine up while putting her on the couch and dragging your son by the ear up to your room while constantly saying “No, no, no, no, no, no, no...”
Katsuki was continuing his work after you left but after just a few minutes, you came back in constantly saying “no” as you dragged your son in by his tiny ear.
“No, no, no, no, nope! No! NO!” You said and tugged Katsuo in by the ear and shut the door. “Katsuo? Sweetie? What was that all about?”
“Woah, hey, what’s going on?” Katsuki asked, shutting his laptop and getting up from the bed. “Katsuo what’d you do?”
“Nothing! I wasn’t doing anything wrong. Mom just came in and started yelling.” Your son said in defense. Your husband looked to you in confusion but you sighed before whispering to him.
“Katsuki, I walked into the living room and Yukine was straddling Katsuo while he grabbed and smacked her ass!” You whisper-yelled. Katsuki’s eyes popped and his head snapped towards his son. On the inside, he wanted to laugh because damn his son was a playaaaaa but unfortunately he had to be a professional parent right now.
Katsuki walked to his son and crouched to his level. “Uh, Katsuo? Why did you smack Yukine? And why was she sitting on you?”
“I was doing what you did.” Katsuo simply said. Katsuki tilted his head in confusion with pointed brows as he pressed for more explanations.
“What do you mean?” He asked.
“I was protecting Yukine from villains cuz I wanna be a hero, just like you Dad!” Your son said with his adorable smile. “Just like how you were protecting Mom last night!”
Katsuki visibly got choked up at the last sentence and his mouth formed an “o” as he slowly turned to look up at you. He was still crouching as he stared up at your angry form that held eyes of fury and crossed arms. You looked towards your husband with a raised brow and he began to sweat a little with a nervous laugh leaving his mouth.
“Um, okay son. You had good intentions which is great but..you see..uhhhh....Y/N?” Katsuki asked for help as he turned towards you. You sighed and dropped your head as you walked to the two and dropped down to your son’s level.
“Katsuo, the way your dad was..protecting me last night is only for adults. Not for little angels like you. So please don’t do it again, okay?” You said while holding his little hands.
“Am I in trouble Mom?” Your son asked with a small pout.
“Of course not sweetie. Your dad was right, you had good intentions. Just- please don’t do it again my love.” You said with a wavering smile. Katsuo smile and nodded before asking another question.
“Can I do it when I’m older?” He asked with his pure child innocence. You froze up a bit and Katsuki laughed a little bit you turned to him and smacked his arm to get him to shut up.
“Uh- we’ll have that talk later, bud. For now just, please don’t do it. Okay? From now on, do as I say and not as I do.” Katsuki said and Katsuo listened. He nodded his head and you released a relived sigh before standing up and glaring at your husband. You dragged him by his arm to a corner and pointed a finger into his chest.
“The next time some B.S like this happens again, you won’t have to worry about protecting me from villains for a month. Am I clear, Katsuki?” You said with slanted eyes. Your husband had a quivering smile as he looked at you in very slight fear.
“Crystal.” He replied. You walked out the room to go and check on the kids leaving the boys in the room by themselves. Once your were a good distance away, Katsuki walked over to his son and looked down at him. Katsuki looked to each side of the room before looking back at your son and speaking. “Did Yukine make a noise when you hit her?”
Katsuo nodded and Katsuki smiled down at his boy before ruffling his head and pushing him to the bedroom exit. Katsuo understood and opened the door to go back downstairs as he laughed at his father’s rough but loving treatment. As Katsuki watched his son from the bed he couldn’t help but whisper a little. “That’s my boy. So proud.”
“What?” Katsuo asked as he thought he heard his father say something. Katsuki looked everywhere in the room except at the tiny child at the door.
“Huh? What? Hm? Ah, no, no. Nothing. Uh-...go back downstairs.” He said and Katsuo nodded before exiting. Katsuki layed back down on the bed with his arms behind his head as he smiled contently at the ceiling. “*sigh* Yeah, that’s definitely my son.”

“Have you been here for a long time?”
“Have you been here for a long time?”
“Have you been here for a long time?”
Time bends and twists into unknowns shapes when well spent. So, you’re so not sure. Long enough for your fairy garden to start looking like at least a proper garden, long enough for your feet to start fidgeting, brushing against the soft fabric of the blanket ever so slightly and softly.
“Can you share your screen?”
“I’m just picking flowers, there’s nothing much to see,” you warn but it never does the proper job.
“That’s fine, I like watching you play.”
“Oh, do you now?”
“Yeah. You’ve been playing for years and you’re still dog water. It's almost soothing,” you hear him grin through the silkiness of his voice.
You smile evasively, palm gripping the mouse and executing on memory. Soon, Sapnap’s satisfied noises hovers and everything is just how it’s supposed to be. You spend a while humming the music of days and nights of the game while building your project. Sap helps from time to time, giving advice when his attention is there and leaving trails of compliments on his way. You don’t think the garden is necessarily that good, you don’t mind either.
“Do you think the tree should go on the left or the right of the pond?” You ask, fingers drumming back and forth between the two options. Right he says. "What about the roses, do I plant some or not?"
“It’s just a detail, don’t hurt your brain too much on that,” he says in a light tone, but you disagree.
“Details are what make things important. Like when you remember I prefer warm pillows so you give me yours, it’s just a detail but it makes me happy.”
“Of course I do; you’re a baby,” he murmurs teasingly.
With an arched eyebrow, you retort, “says you,” and silence follows for a second as you plant the tree on the right of the pond.
“Yeah, Dream already made sure I was aware of that.”
“Not sure why the piss baby thinks he’s qualified to have this conversation, buddy,” you note and Sap chuckles are as vivid as contagious. “Why would he call you a baby anyway? What have you done?”
“I-I’m not telling you.” As soon as the mumbles fades, your phone sends loud vibrations on your desk. You abandon your character to the night and the wildness, picking the phone as you murmur a low oh, okay. Whether it’s to your phone or Sapnap, that, isn’t really clear. Still, Sapnap’s words sound more distant, more of what wonders are made of. On the screen, a twitter notification of a certain Karl Jacobs.
Tumblr media
“You’re not even listening to me anymore,” Sapnap whines.
“I don’t listen to whiny babies, sorry.”
“We’re on the verge of divorce, yn and it’s your fault.”
A scoff skitters out through teasing lips, “But you still talk about me all the time, don’t you?” Your voice drags through different lands, unknown and musky.
“So what?” He splutters all awkward like it’s some kind of confidence that shouldn’t have left his thoughts and, somehow, you’re surprised the almighty confidence has left the game. “Who said that?”
“Doesn’t matter. You’re obsessed with me, admit it,” you demand and though you don’t notice it, too tangled with the moment, the atmosphere is tinted with a different nuance like it’s suddenly dawn at the end of a summer party.
“So are you.”
Now, your heart drums a strange yet familiar rhythm. Something made of secrets and uncertainty, something you decided to leave unnamed a long time ago. Sapnap, you reason, can’t be lied to. He knows better than words half meant, half made up and it’s annoying, really, but he just does somehow. If you dare to lie, he would know and then it would be even more annoying.
“Yeah, you’re living in my head rent free but at least I’m not trying to hide it.” No answer. You peek at the game, you’ve been slain by a spider. “Karl said that,” you resign yourself. “He said he was about to join the vc by the way.”
Before the conversation can carry on, the sound of Karl joining the call resonates. Being in this Discord server is like living in a house with 10 siblings, that’s what you understand from the way Sap exhales heavily.
“Oh, I am interrupting something?” Karl says, struck by a peculiar energy.
“Besties time Karl, besties time,” Sapnap mumbles beneath his breath and it chimes a little like disappointment.
“Well, too bad I guess,” Karl exclaims. “It's about time I meet miss Bunnyshow.”
Karl is like that gif of a cat sitting in a tiny box with the caption “if it fits, I sit”.
“Does that mean our passive aggressive subweet arc is over?” You ask, faking the dejection when your smile grows wide.
“Oh god, I hope not. That’s my favorite part of the day.”
"It means a lot to me. Especially coming from my comfort streamer Karl Jacobs," you confess.
Satisfied, your attention gets back on the game; flowers rooting gracefully into the dirt and hives ready to host the beloved honey bugs as Karl and Sap catch up on time being apart. Everything is quiet and peaceful like the end of an afternoon well spent.
“I like your garden,” Karl points out and you hum a thank you beneath your breath.
“So you can take Karl’s compliments but not mine.”
“We’re besties you’re honor. Sapnap you can leave now, thank you,” Karl giggles and you follow along.
“Sorry Karl, there’s only room for one man in my heart and that has to be Sapnap.”
He fakes a cry to keep the theatrics before adding without transitions, “You know if you asked Dream he’d probably let you on the SMP.”
“No thanks,” you grin.
“Sapnap, your girl doesn’t want to play with us.”
“She’s already been whitelisted for months now,” Sapnap informs but fails to comment on the first part of the complaint.
He’s not lying, but you feel like it says more about Dream’s stubbornness than it says about you. As for your best friend, he understands better than anyone that wish for privacy and it’s something made of respect like yours for his career. You’d rather see him shaped by all the light than being touched by a glimpse of it. He does, after all, deserves it all. So, that’s the contract you made with yourself because it made sense; being a supportive shadow. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that you’ve never considered streaming before. It’s that it’s his world more than yours.
Karl, on the other hand, doesn’t seem to think the same way, “This is unacceptable, I gotta send a few texts.”
“Lost cause, dude, lost cause,” you grin but stubbornness seems to be a pre required trait for those mcyts.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Before you have time to find a suitable comment about the newborn group chat, a new person joins the call and Sapnap's annoyance is even more palpable, "No fucking way dude. We can't even have a second of peace on this server."
"Why would you be in a discord call if you want peace. You're just dumb," Quackity retorts with an energy he and he only can ever own.
Then George joins and Dream follows on his heels and soon your ears are filled with conversations that are as loud as scattered. Your shoulders sink in the back of your chair as soft fingers try to brush the upcoming migraine away. This is why you can't join the SMP; -not really but still- too much energy that has to be processed at all time. And you should know better, being friend with a very chaotic boy for the last 15 years, but you're not somehow.
"No, fuck that," Sapnap mutters. "I'm out."
"You can't leave now we have things to discuss," George exclaims. "Bunny, explain to me how Sapnap's proposition is more appealing than mine."
"Because I know her more than you do," he defends, and he's right. Money isn't of you interest. Love, on the other hand...
"Because she's like scronch'love," Karl giggles mindlessly.
"The fuck does scronch'love mean?" You ask, amused.
"It's very simple," Quackity intervenes. "If I offered you the same thing, would you even consider it?"
"Of course I would. What kind of question is that?"
"Fine. So, if Sapnap keeps his offer, here is mine; you become the president of Las Nevadas in addition to what he said."
"What?" Sapnap takes offense.
The call brims with an agitated confusion as you smile deviously, heels rooted into the floor to make your chair spin lightly and your fingers drum on your desk.
"I don't think you wanna do that," George corrects.
"Yeah, you absolutely don't," you confirm.
"Fine," he retorts. "So Sapnap's offer plus a Las Nevadas citizenship. How does that sound?"
"Like an offer I'll confider," you sigh. "So who's scronch'love now?"
"Still you," Dream answers. "Except you're also a big dummy."

A/N : helloooo,, how are you??? this part very self indulgent and I think this fic will be in general but I hope you liked it anyway. I love the idea of c!quackity always being too much and always having something to add to be even more over the top. I'm having more trouble than I thought about Bunny's and Sap's friendship because I want them to have a very special friendship but I hope it appears as such. idk. lmk what you think and thank you for reading it it makes me very happy <3 Until next time (ɔˆ ³(ˆ⌣ˆc)

Yury Khovansky's Open Letter (plz read)
__________________________________
"Without your help, they'll just kill me." (с)
__________________________________
This is an Open Letter to all media, bloggers and just people who care about my fate. My name is Yuri Khovansky, and I have been in pre-trial detention center for half a year on charges of justifying terrorism. Nine years ago, in 2012, I made an immoral and stupid joke when I performed a song for which I am now behind bars. During these nine years, I have repeatedly repented, apologized and made a charitable donation to the fund to help victims of terrorism. There is no moral justification for my action, but the statute of limitations for this offense has expired. The article on which I am accused (205.2 part 2) appeared only in 2016. It is very well known to me, to you and to the investigators of the Central Investigation Department, who keep me in pre-trial detention center, extending my arrest month after month.
I was ready to endure it and receive legal punishment for my song, but what happens to me cannot be called legality. Despite the fact that the whole country knows that I sang that song in 2012, the investigation refuses to accept evidence of this, because they understand that they will have to let me go, so they cannot allow this. As a result, instead of investigating the crime, the investigators changed the time of this action to 2018 with the help of dummy witnesses.
Four madmen testified that they witnessed my performance of this song, and the case was in 2018. Their testimony is ridiculous, but when I read them, I did not want to laugh — I wanted to cry. The court accepted this testimony — the judge was not even surprised when he read this nonsense. At the same time, all the numerous proofs of the protection that the song was performed in 2012 are being ignored. On one side of the scale there are notarized facts, on the other there are testimonies of people who do not even know what a "stream" is. All four witnesses are from St. Petersburg, which is very convenient for the St. Petersburg Central Investigation Department.
I hoped that I could argue it in court, but recently the head of the investigation group of my case came to me and, without notifying my lawyers, secretly offered me conditions:
1. I have to testify that I sang that song in 2018.
2. I have to give up my lawyers.
3. I have to accept their lawyer.
If I fulfill these conditions, they will cease to appoint endless expert examinations, they will take the case to court, where I will receive a fine and be released. If I refuse these conditions, it will be done as if I "stubbornly deny everything" and I will get a real prison sentence. I have already believed this investigator once — he promised to change the measure of restraint to house arrest, if at the very beginning I give such evidence that they need and refuse right against self-incrimination (51 article of the Russian Constitution). I told him that I no longer believed him and that I was not going to confess what I had not done.
In response, he gave me two days to think it over and said that if I refuse it, then not only me, but also my beloved woman Masha will have problems. Previously, the detectives had already threatened me to plant drugs on her if she didn't withdraw her complaint. Two days later, the investigator sent my computers for examination, although they had already been examined, and not to the Central Internal Affairs Department, but to the Federal Security Service. My lawyers still cannot get a copy of the order on the appointment of this examination, they just don't want to give it to my lawyers. The investigator also forbade the lawyers to be present with me during the investigative action — this is an unheard-of violation of my constitutional rights: people in the Kresty prison do not believe that such a thing is possible. But now I know that with such people in the investigative committee everything is possible.
I'm scared and I don't know what to do. I was afraid before while I was in a pre-trial detention center, but I have never been afraid for my loved ones on the other side of the fence. I did not think that in Russia in 2021 an investigator could openly threaten the family of the accused and demand to confess to what he did not commit. This is not the 37th year of the USSR, I thought. Now I don't know what to think anymore.
I’m asking you, no, I’m begging you — help me. Don't let them harm my family. Don't let them put something on my computer or jail me according to the testimony of false witnesses! The law should work even for those you don't like. I was not the best person when I was free, but is this a reason to justify the methods of the NKVD that are applied to me? Think of the fact that I have 4.5 million subscribers, and the Investigative Committee only needed 4 false witnesses to break my life. How many false witnesses will they need to break yours?
Every third person in my prison is imprisoned exclusively on the "testimony" of such "witnesses". It could be your husband, your brother, your son. Now it is not just my fate that is being determined, now the boundaries of permissiveness, which the investigating authorities allow themselves, are being determined. Because anyone can go to the web archive and make sure I sang that song in 2012. After all, it should not be so that the judges look at black and say that it is white. People should not be allowed to be judged not according to the law, but because of public resonance. These werewolves in uniform shouldn't be allowed to threaten our loved ones. Please help me! Without your help, they'll just kill me.

(How old is New Vegas? And it’s still my fav part! I feel like I need more Raul content even after all these years🥺)
Drink with the living dead
Characters: Raul Tejada x Reader Summary:  Courier and her companion returned to New Vegas after a long wandering to get a drink and gamble, but faced serious inhospitality. Six was not ready to leave her friend behind, so they changed their plans. Warnings: - Words: 2781
Tumblr media
***
It was almost half past midday, when a dusty dirty road to New Vegas welcomed the wanderers with just another sandstorm without any declaration of war. Courier’s mirror aviator sunglasses could hardly stand that gusts of winds, so she decided to hide it in the pocket of her jacket until the better times. Six and her ghoul-companion were on foot for nearly five hours, and now the hightower of «Lucky 38» looked huge in contradiction from its look an hour ago.
It was not their first visit to New Vegas, but every time she saw a glowing and sparkling casino’s signs, she was bringing up the idea of going there and wasting an evening gambling and drinking. Just like everyone does. The fact that she spent here some time, passing all the entertaining places by, met with Mr. House and performed several missions for NCR ambassador, but still never took a break to try some of those things, these poor fellows from all Mojave wasteland were arriving for - was a crime by its definition.
Coddling this thought, Courier continued to trudge the nasty weather, until they walked up to the Northern gates of Freeside.
- What’s the plan when we reach Strip, boss? - asked Raul, shaking his dull-green jumpsuit down: it all was full of pervasive grains of sand, as well as the girl’s clothes.
- At first I wanna visit the «Lucky 38» apartment and change the outfit, then go to the bar and win big in the kazino!
- Perfect plan, chief, ironclad like my revolver. - the ghoul was sarcastic as usual, but didn’t evince any sight of disagreement.
When she turned around to continue movement, he added: “Wait, amigo, there's a tuft of straw stuck under your collar.” - and carefully extracted an annoying piece of flora, stuck to during the storm.
“Gracias!” - Six smiled widely and made a fast gesture of gratitude with her hand. Without wasting time, they passed heavy metallic gates.
Freeside met companions with a funky, stinking smell. She still couldn't get used to it. Dusty air seemed to mar the cityscape: it looked much pale and lighter than from the outside. Just fifteen minutes and they’ll reach the destination. The picture couldn’t be called unusual for this time of the day in this part of town: one or two shabby hobos against the dingy walls, kids in wrecked clothes playing a tag-game in the area of the «Mick & Ralph's», random citizens with roving glances, sneaking around, wasting their time in an idle attempts to figure out how to spend their life in this Dump. On the other hand, there are many places where people live even worse: take a look at Westside, for instance.
«What a hopeless sight, - thought the girl. - Hope the Followers are really able to do something about this in the future».
- Something on your mind, boss? - it felt like nothing could hide from Raul’s inquisitive look.
- Just thinking. I find this picture quite dismal, like there’s no tomorrow, and humanity is still doomed. Like there’s no chance to restore life, as it was before.
- When we are on the road again, I’ll tell you about the Football Cup in Mexico, if you like to hear another one “before the Bomb” story. - he obviously picked up on her mood and decided to cheer up the girl, carefully diverting the theme.
- I do. Have you attended it?
- Sure thing. That was a big day. We drove to the capital to see it with our own eyes.
- Sounds pretty good! Let’s not ruin the intrigue.
- You asked.
They passed a small cross-road, which didn't have to be called like that anymore, as it was just one of the ghosts of the past with it’s burned skeletons of cars, left here motionless as evidence of human lost ambitions. The air in this part of the town was stale, despite the fact that they were in the streets, the smell of some broiling meat and spoiled vegetables was sticky like an ant's nectar. Sudden wild cryings and shouts were heard from the nearest dead end.
One glance was enough to understand that the Kings had cornered swashers, their prey, who were too fucked up and all-fired sure of themselves to attack the town’s main showrunners just a couple of minutes ago. And the Courier was not going to do anything about that: she herself was nearly butchered by one of them, shown up from nowhere. If it was not her loyal companion who dealt with it with one precise shot, she, probably, would be dead by now.
It took more than ten minutes to cover the distance between the East and Strip gates - right now there was no reason to hurry. As they got closer, the protectrons took up their positions immediately. One of them articulated “Move along” with a familiar metallic cold of lifeless voice of his, when companions were passing by.
“Never liked these guys. They are like slow mines: you never know what they do the next second.” - grunted out the Courier, as two of them found themselves on the first line of the Strip between “Lucky 38” and “Gomorrah”.
“Hey, so who is an old one here?” - the ghoul chuckled in response.
She went ahead, so he could never see how her lips slightly bended in a ready-to-laugh smile.
***
Presidential luxe met nomads with a deep, wrapping silence of a broad, gloomy space. This was definitely not the place a person could wish to stay in: walls with, once being gorgeous - now - greasy dark-wine wallpapers were giving an oppressive feeling. Six was happy that they didn’t have to stay here for long. Only to sleep or change the outfit maybe.
She got near to the wardrobe in her room, where the majority of things, accumulated during the long travels, were stored. Took out two dresses, went to the guest-room with a billiards. Raul was civilly waiting for her there.
- What you think? Which one?
He raised up his head, looked from under the sunglasses for several seconds, examining, and answered in a casual tone:
- It’s really up to you, boss. - made a pause, then added, like a little confused: - But I like the pink one. Might look graceful.
- Great! Exactly the one I wanted to pick.
The ghoul just gave her a hesitant nod, wondering if she noticed that detail. Courier went back to her sleeping-room and returned after some minutes, informing: “Ready to go! The next stop is “Ultra-Luxe”, yee-haw!”
***
After a while they were in the street again. All they needed was just to reach the second line of the Strip and pass a hundred meters to the “Ultra-Luxe”. Lots of NCR soldiers were hanging around, goofing off, as long as they had a chance, and indulging in lust in the nearest private clubs. Nothing unexpectable. When they passed by a small group of drunk, barely balancing on their feet big guys, Six suddenly heard a hushed voice from behind her back, addressing his teammates. “Do they let ghouls on the Strip now? Perfect, let’s make it a spooky ghost-town.”
“Yeah. That’s why civilization will start floating away again. Our attempts are meaningless.”
Only just Courier wanted to turn around and shout out something to those sons of a b or event take out a gun and shoot beneath their feet, Raul caught her arm:
- Hey, hey, calm down, that’s okay. NCRs are many here, you know, even for a dashing rider like you, boss. Even with me backing you up. From behind the farthest stone.
- But we can’t simply swallow that shit, Raul!
He just spreaded his hands:
- Fine, then go shoot them and be killed by protectrones because of two drunk idiots. Very helpful, chief. I’ll stay all alone, without my beloved companion but with a protected pride. Thank’s.
Six stood still for some seconds and nodded after that.
- Fine. Whatever.
Then merely continued walking in the direction of the cazino. The ghoul hesitated for a bit. He understood that she was acting out of good intentions and she just wanted to protect her partner, as she was the one who had a right of speech here. And that made his heart melt and he was silently praising her for that, because nobody seemed to do anything like that for him in a while. But picking a fight with these dummies, who fill the streets of Strip like water fills the canyon, was not wise.
“Sorry for that, Niña. I really appreciate what you do. I just don’t want you to get in trouble because of me. You don’t notice, but there are often lots of sidelong looks and hardly heard whisperings along the way. I'm used to it and don’t want it to affect you.” - he tried to lighten things up.
The girl turned her head a bit just for him to see her glance softening.
- Let’s just reach the bar and relax.
***
An unexpected trouble struck them further - black line has not ended yet. Courier already picked her place at the bar desk in the distant hall and ordered a glass of whiskey, when a bartendress leaned over and said in a low tone:
“I’m sorry, but here, in “Ultra-Luxe”, we serve only the citizens and guests of the Strip. I’m able to bring a drink only for you, ma’m.”
That was the last drop of her patience. The girl slowly raised her head at the bartendress, ready to blow up, and responded:
- Are you fucking kidding me?
- That’s the rule. I don’t need problems. You can ask any guard or another worker.
She bowed her head and gave a fast hidden glance at her ghoul-companion. He was sitting there next to her and looking straight at his arms crossed on the desk, like he had nothing to do with it. But he, of course, heard every word. His eyes weren't moving, just a finger was slightly knocking the air, producing a rhythm he alone knew. Six couldn’t even imagine what her friend might feel at the moments like that. An anger came upon her.
“Are you all that scumbags here? Keep your drinks for acceptable ones. Ma’m.” - the girl said, getting up from her barstool and heading towards the exit.
Raul stood up without a word and, as he always did, followed Courier. He had mixed emotions. On the one hand he was glad they left that place and that Six is such a kind and loyal partner, but on the other hand he felt a little guilty for himself. After all, it was him who was the reason for such inhospitality in some kind of place. Even now she couldn’t get what she wished for so hard. Her idea of “winning big” in the kazino seemed to be falling apart, as together they won’t be even let to the gambling table. And she, obviously, won’t leave him in the street and have fun on her own, and an old ghoul didn’t want to be a ball and chain.
- Boss? Are you sure we need to leave? Maybe you’d better stay there? And I’d wait for you somewhere else or go back to “Lucky 38”. Fresh air won’t do any harm for my old lungs.
- What are you even talking about? You know, even the best drink worth nothing, if there’s no one to share it with.
- You have a heart of gold, chiff. - these words came fast, in an undertone, as if he was embarrassed, - Well, I saw a small sign in Freeside. I believe we’ve never been in that part of the city before.
- Hope it’s not an «Atomic Wrangler».
- Nope.
- Great! You lead. They passed the ruins, generously spread all over the suburbs, while every their step sounded louder thanks to trash, small pieces of brick and other rubbish. The sun was already going down and the heat was getting less intense.
Finally they reached a small inconspicuous wooden door. Only a little sign next to it represented that place as a bar.
As they entered, nothing changed. There was not much to be changed. There were no crowds of gamblers, no fancy casino machines and no shiny-polished bar desk. Bartender was a man in old ragged clothes, probably in his late fifties. He was slowly wiping cut glasses with a gray dusty piece of fabric full of holes.
When the companions stepped in the room he just looked up at them without raising up his head and got back to his plain, simple activity. There were not many customers besides the two of them. A woman was sleeping on the table in the far corner - her head rested on her arms while her shoulders were calmly going up and down. Another guest settled down at the edge of the bar desk.
“Fancy,” - giggled the girl.
“Ah, let’s get down. Ladies first.” - Raul just waved his hand.
Six made a few steps in the direction of the bar desk and sat down, Raul followed her.
“Barman! Two beers, please”. - she laid some bottle caps in front of him.
The barkeeper took them and then put two opened bottles onto the surface.
“Bon appetit.”
Courier took her bottle up and clinked it loudly with Rauls one. His soft non-blinking sight of half closed eyes was locked on hers, while he made a sip. His heart always went pop when it felt like there were just two of them in the world, though he never showed that.
Raul looked around and suddenly his eyes stopped on a guitar lurked behind the racks.
“Hey, can I…?”
The barman followed ghoul’s gaze and shrugged his shoulders: “This piece of wood? Be my guest.”
In the next second he was on his feet. The courier raised her eyebrows as she almost forgot if she saw him that agile. Raul approached the metal shelves, put aside some garbage and waste paper, then carefully extracted the instrument and blew away the dust.
Six and the bartender were watching him closely. The ghoul got back to his chair, sat down crossing his legs to position the guitar more comfortably. Then pulled the first string to check out the tuning. It was no surprise that it was out of tune, so the next minute Raul spent trying to fix the instrument.
When everything, as he thought, was ready, he played a couple of notes in fingerstyle to flex some life back into his fingers. After nearly 200 years the skill was obviously weakened.
“I didn’t know that you could play the guitar.” - said the girl.
“Sure you didn’t. I never told about that.” - he looked back at her with a little smirk, - “What was the point if there were no music instruments left anyway?”
He laid his right arm down on the body of the guitar, fingers on the cracked wooden surface, and took a deep breath.
At first Courier could hardly hear or see the slightest movement of ghoul's fingers on strings, but soon the sound became more clear. She was sitting there with a bottle in her hand, unable to look away from her companion.
The sound of slow mexican melody floated across the room, filling every corner of the room with itself. The windows were closed with wooden boards from the outside, so the sunlight was trickling down through narrow gaps between them. Warm light was leaving gold-yellow lines on the walls, tables and the bardesk where the Courier and Raul were sitting. She could even see the tiniest specks of dust freeze in the air. The ghouls face was half hidden by a shadow and the sunbeams were highlighting one of his eyes which now looked like a beautiful transparent crystal and his hands all covered with veins and partially with thin skin.
The whole space imbued with peace and calm, even the impenetrable bartender set his glass aside and leaned his head on the hand, listening to the sensual music.
They travelled together for a while now, but never before had Six seen him the way she did now. Something new was arising in her soul.
“Hey chief,” - Raul closed his eyes and slightly threw back his head grinning a little, fingers still dancing over the strings. - ”You’re the best friend and partner one could ever wish for, you know. Thank you for always being on my side.”
“Raul, I’ll never leave my partner in crime behind!” - she chuckled as she felt like something pinned her heart.
The ghoul continued playing the tune without opening his eyes. A grin turned into a soft smile and the feeling of joy span all over him for the first time in a while.
“I’m following you to the world’s end, boss.”

pattonella part 13: kingdom alert: the princes are fiiiiiiiightiiiiiiiing!
cw: mentions of injury/infection/illness, mentions of death, arguing, overworking, parental figures who are not the best
wordcount: ~3.3k
part 1 // part 2 // part 3 // part 4 // part 5 // part 6 // part 7 // part 8 // part 9 // part 10 // part 11 // part 12 // read it on ao3!!
virgil stays in the infirmary for almost a week after he first wakes up.
he spends a lot of his time sleeping, since he’s too weak to do anything else. for the first few days of wakefulness, he barely has the strength to squeeze logan’s and patton’s hands when they hold them. despite his barely-open eyes, he smiles every time he sees them.
“i’m sorry,” he says once, voice raspy and hoarse. patton tilts his head in confusion.
“why are you apologizing?”
“for scaring you. i came home unconscious . . . on logan’s horse . . . and you didn’t know . . . what was happening . . . i’m sorry . . .” his chest heaves slightly with effort, and patton leans in to brush his hair out of his eyes.
“it’s not your fault. you saved roman’s life, vee, you saved everyone. you all came home alive, and that’s all i can ask for.” virgil smiles at him, eyes half-open, and yawns. “are you tired, vee?”
“‘m always tired lately.”
“that’s normal,” emile says, carrying over a large teapot. “you expended an enormous amount of magic when you were fighting. your body is trying to recover that energy; that’s why you’re sleeping so much. this tea helps you recover your energy as well, so keep drinking.”
virgil makes a face at the cup of tea emile has in his hands, but he still lets patton help him sit up. he takes the tea and sips at it gently, blowing off the cloud of steam. emile dips a washcloth into a pail of cool water, wrings it out, and drapes it across virgil’s forehead, removing the old cloth that has grown warm.
“is logan going to visit today?” virgil asks.
“prince logan said he would stop by after attending to his duties at court,” emile says. “remy will be back in a little while, he’s attending to the king.” a somber tone falls over the infirmary at the mention of the king.
“what . . . exactly is wrong with the king?” patton asks. “we know that he’s sick, of course, but - but we have no idea what’s actually wrong with him. do you know? are - are you allowed to tell us?”
emile exhales, nodding slowly. “the king was injured in battle. he hid it because -”
“he’s a self-righteous idiot and a coward,” remy mutters, shoving the infirmary door shut behind him. emile’s face brightens when he sees his husband, dimming when he sees how pale and drawn remy looks. “he didn’t want to worry people, so instead of letting me treat his injury and having a recovery time of maybe two weeks, he hid it until it got infected and then he hid the infection until he collapsed and now it’s so far gone that there’s nothing i can do to heal him. it’s killing him from the inside out.”
“the king will die?” patton asks.
“we all die eventually,” remy says, “but it’s true that the king is ailing more swiftly than most. i’d say he has . . . three years left to live, at most.” emile reaches up and gently kisses remy’s cheek, pressing his face into his shoulder.
“there’s a reason the rush is on to get thomas officially named crown prince,” emile says. “if he does not bear the official title when the king passes on, there will be a power struggle.”
“why? thomas is the eldest prince. roman and logan would never stand in his way of becoming king, would they?”
“no, but without an official heir appointed, it is possible that anyone with a connection to the royal bloodline, however small, could present themself as heir apparent. it would take months, perhaps even years to sort through the muck and mire of all that inherently political bullshit, which would derail the peace and prosperity of this kingdom. it is imperative that thomas is officially named the crown prince before the king dies.”
“do we have to be married for thomas to be named crown prince?” patton asks. “is an engagement enough to satisfy the law?”
“unfortunately, no. engagements can be made and broken at the drop of a hat, but a marriage is not so easily annulled. the wedding ceremony must be completed before thomas can be named crown prince.”
“i think that’s a stupid rule,” patton mutters. virgil laughs softly, and patton squeezes his hand.
“the most likely scenario at this point is a triple function.”
“a what?”
“logan and roman will have a double wedding to the two of you, and then once the wedding ceremony is completed, thomas will immediately be officially named crown prince. that way, no matter what happens, the kingdom will be secured.”
“and then we party?” patton asks. remy laughs.
“yeah, babes. and then we party.”
*~*~*~*~*
“everything alright?”
logan jumps three feet into the air at the sudden noise, whirling around to see roman behind him, hand raised as though he was about to lower it onto his shoulder. “take a deep breath, lo, it’s just me.” logan presses a hand to his chest, exhaling sharply.
“you startled me, roman. please do not do that.” roman rolls his eyes, bumping his shoulder against logan’s as he steps towards the window logan’s been pensively staring out of. “can i be of assistance?”
“do you know any good smiths?”
logan hums, clasping his hands behind his back. “you spend far more time consorting with the villagers than i, roman. if anyone were to possess such information, it would be you.”
“yeah, but you spend all your time with the tax records and shit, i figured you’d know.”
logan frowns. “what is all this about, roman?”
roman looks at him, and logan realizes he’s been crying. “roman -”
“i went to see father.”
logan wants to swear. “roman, i thought we agreed to go together if we went -”
“we did! but i saw remy going to treat him, so i followed him, and when the door opened he saw me and he beckoned me inside and what was i gonna do, say no to the king?”
“what did he say to you?”
“he asked me if i was married yet.”
“and you told him?”
“no, but i have a partner.”
“what did he say?”
“‘that’s not good enough, roman,’” roman grouses, dropping his voice into a gruff imitation of their father’s. “'you of all people should understand how imperative it is that there is no issue with succession. thomas must be named my heir and become crown prince before i shuffle off this mortal coil -’”
“don’t talk about father’s death like that,” logan snaps.
“and how else should i talk about it, logan? father has been dying for years. and he’s making me rush my relationship with patton just so that thomas can get the official version of a title we all know he has!”
“father does not want to die without officially naming an heir. i understand that.”
“you really think someone’s going to be stupid enough to challenge thomas’s birthright?”
“it will not hurt to be prepared. you are responding irrationally.”
“right, because you’ve never done anything irrational in your life, logan, like riding into battle with no backup and no plan because your stupid magic boyfriend thinks i can’t take care of myself! what does he know, anyway? he doesn’t know anything about me or us or -”
“virgil saved your life,” logan says, voice low and thunderous. he takes a step forward, then another, and roman takes a step backward, then another. “if it wasn’t for his vision, you would have died . many more people would have been injured or killed if he had not come when he did. or did you forget the fact that he fell into a coma because he expended so much magic saving you? healing you? keeping you alive?” roman flinches away from his anger, and logan can’t bring himself to care.
“logan, i -”
“this conversation is over,” logan says, voice icy and cold. “i will see you at dinner, prince roman. send a servant if you have need of me.” he turns around and stalks down the hallway, footsteps sharp and precise against the stone floor. he hears roman throw a punch at something behind him, but he doesn’t call out, and logan doesn’t turn around.
*~*~*~*~*
“lord san - patton?”
patton looks up from the basket of yarn he’s picking through to see nate standing in the doorway, fidgeting with the hem of his tunic. “nate! come in!”
“you have a visitor,” nate says. he sounds oddly formal, and patton tilts his head in confusion. “sir claire, knight of the kingdom, second in command to his royal highness prince roman, requests an audience.”
“oh! um . . . send her in, sure!” patton remembers her riding just behind logan and roman when they’d returned from battle, but he’s never actually spoken to her.
nate steps into the hallway and murmurs something, and then claire steps in. she’s not wearing full armor, but there’s leather wrapped around her forearms and legs, and her hair is tied up in a knot atop her head. she’s panting slightly, face shining with sweat, as though she’s just come from the training grounds.
“lord sanders,” she says, bowing to him. patton stands up, not sure if he’s supposed to curtsy back at her or not, but as he’s gathering the material of his dress claire continues speaking. “i would request something of you, lord sanders.”
“um . . . okay! is it something you need from roman?”
“it actually concerns his highness prince roman.”
“is he hurt? is he alright?”
claire shakes her head. “i believe he had an . . . altercation with his highness prince logan earlier. prince roman came to the training grounds two hours ago, and he has been putting any guard he can through rigorous dueling. he’s finally exhausted his supply of human opponents, and he has been hacking away at training dummies for the past thirty minutes. his hands shake with exhaustion, but nothing i do or say convinces him to stop and rest. i worry he may pass out from heat or over exertion or -”
patton wrings his hands nervously, and claire takes a deep breath. “i do not mean to alarm you, lord sanders. i merely thought perhaps, as you are beloved of prince roman, you might accompany me to the training grounds and convince him to rest, if only briefly?”
“of course,” patton says. “nate, go to the kitchens, get some cold water, as much as you can carry, and some sort of snack. cheese, maybe? and nuts? something to get roman’s strength up. meet me on the training grounds.”
“at once, lord sanders,” nate says, bowing his head respectfully to patton and claire before sprinting out into the hall. patton slips his shoes on and follows claire out to the training ground.
“how long have you and roman known each other?”
“the prince and i entered knighthood training at the same time. were he not the prince, i suspect i may have been picked for captain of the guard, but i am not stupid. i know the ways of the kingdom. the third prince, should there be one, becomes captain of the guard, leader of the knights. prince roman has the skills to back the position up, at least. he is the only person who has ever bested me in combat.”
“it sounds like you really like him.”
“i admire and respect him greatly. it pains me to see him like this.”
“i’ll get him to calm down,” patton says. “what was he fighting with logan about?”
“it is unclear to me, lord sanders, but it distressed him.”
“you can just call me patton, if you want!”
“that is very kind of you, lord - patton.”
the stone walls of the castle keep it cool, even in the warmth of summer, so patton had chosen a dress with a long skirt made of lighter fabric. the minute he steps foot outside, he can feel himself starting to sweat. claire, wearing training clothes and leather guards, doesn’t seem bothered at all, so patton pretends that he isn’t, either.
he can hear sounds of exertion before they even reach the arena. patton gathers the fabric of his skirt up into his hands so that it doesn’t drag along the dusty ground as claire opens the gates to the training arena for him. roman is surrounded by a series of training dummies, stuffed with straw and carrying crude replica weapons. roman is shouting and grunting as he throws himself at the training dummies.
“his strokes are sloppy,” claire says. patton doesn’t know anything about fighting, but he sort of sees what she means. he’s watched roman train before; he usually keeps all his limbs close to his body, watching with narrowed eyes and striking with quick, precise movements in rapid succession. this looks like a hurricane given human form. roman’s limbs flail wildly, his chest is heaving, and his hair is matted with sweat.
patton hurries across the arena floor. “roman!”
roman whirls around, holding his sword out, but his arms are shaking and the tip of the blade drops down into the dust. “patton?” he pants.
“ro, sweetheart, how long have you been out here?”
“not - not long, i don’t . . .” roman drives the tip of his sword into the arena floor and leans on it heavily. patton lets his skirts fall down around his ankles again as he reaches out to take roman’s arm and help support him.
“come sit with me, ro, okay? come on. come sit down.” roman doesn’t protest, quietly staggering over to the wooden benches lining the arena. patton moves slowly to allow roman to shuffle along at his side, carefully helping roman sit down. “claire said you’ve been here for hours, ro.”
roman sighs. “so she sent you to come reign me in?”
“she sent me out here to ask you to take a break. she’s worried about you. so am i.”
“i’m just training. that’s my job, patton.”
“you’re destroying yourself,” patton says firmly. “what happened?”
roman stares off at the horizon. patton doesn’t pressure him to talk, gently leaning his head against his shoulder. after about ten minutes of sitting in silence, roman finally says, “lo and i got in a fight.”
“a fight?”
“i went to see father today. we had an agreement with the two of us and thomas that we wouldn’t go see him on our own. he can be a bit . . . intense. and lo and i got into an argument, and . . . he used my full title. he never uses that unless he’s super pissed off. and like, i’m pissed at him too! he was being an asshole! but . . . so was i, i guess . . .”
nate approaches, setting down a pitcher of water, two cups, and a basket of bread and cheese and nuts. roman shoves a hunk of cheese in his mouth as patton pours them both water and nods his thanks to nate. roman downs a glass and a half of water before staring off again, eyes unfocused.
patton hums, reaching out to set his hand on roman’s knee. “do you wanna talk about it?”
roman hesitates for a moment, swirling the water in his cup around, and then he does.
*~*~*~*~*
“are you going to tell me what you’re brooding about?”
“i do not brood,” logan grouses.
“are you going to tell me why you’re pouting, then?”
“i do not pout either.” logan pouts at virgil, who bites his lower lip to keep from laughing. logan continues to pout as he gently picks up a clay teapot and pours virgil another cup of the magic-replenishing tea. virgil wraps his hands around logan’s as he takes the cup, and logan’s face smoothes into a small smile.
“i . . . had a disagreement with roman, earlier.”
“i don’t like the way you’re saying disagreement.”
“he saw our father.” virgil, sitting up to sip at his tea, pauses as logan’s hands ball into fists.
“how is he?”
“our father? the same as always. asking about if we’re married yet so he can name thomas crown prince and die already.” virgil winces, and logan sighs. “forgive me, my love. our father . . . he is constantly rushing our lives. he would have had us wed to anyone, regardless of feelings, so that thomas could have his position as crown prince secured. thomas fought for us to have a chance at happiness, hence the ball for roman’s birthday. our father gave in, but he is . . . irritated that we have not yet wed.”
“would it make things easier if we got married?” virgil says. logan reaches out and takes one of his hands.
“i am not going to rush you or have roman rush patton because of our father’s succession issues. you are more than a political bargaining chip to me, virgil. you are . . .” logan’s cheeks and ears flush pink, and virgil can’t hide the besotted smile on his face as he watches logan’s gaze fix on a specific point over his shoulder. “you are invaluable to me. you are incredibly precious. i will not have you feeling like a pawn to be manipulated when you are - you are so much more than that to me.” virgil’s gaze slides to the black chess queen, propped neatly on the nightstand where he can see it.
“you’re important to me, too, l.”
“roman was insinuating that we were irrational for running into battle to save him. he was implying that you are - are stupid or something, that you don’t know things, when without you he would be dead and we would have suffered innumerable casualties! that fool, what was he thinking , he -”
“you were worried about him,” virgil says.
“roman is capable. he does not require worrying about, so he likes to say.” logan scoffs.
“you’re his big brother, lo. you were going to worry no matter what happened. i worry about patton no matter what, and i bet thomas worries about you and roman no matter what. that’s just what brothers do.”
logan pulls his hands into his lap, fidgeting with his fingers. “i . . . suppose i should apologize to him.”
“hey, if he was being a jackass, he should apologize to you, too.” logan leans in and gently presses a kiss to virgil’s cheek. virgil makes a very undignified squeaking noise that he will deny vehemently to anyone else.
*~*~*~*~*
“logan?”
“roman.”
“i . . . uh . . . ‘m sorry. i didn’t, uh . . . mean to insult virgil, or . . . or imply that he’s stupid. i know his magic takes a lot out of him, and i know he . . . he really used a lot when you guys came to save us. i just . . . i don’t like feeling like the stupid kid brother you all have to chase after, you know?”
“i find that i owe you an apology as well, roman. i was, perhaps, unnecessarily harsh on you when last we spoke. i felt that someone had to defend virgil’s . . . honor is not quite the right word, but it is the closest i have.”
“i can take care of myself, you know.”
“i know, roman. but when virgil burst into the throne room and told us that he had seen you being slain . . . after the truth of his prediction with my horse incident, thomas and i were understandably distraught. we always fear the worst when you ride out into battle, and virgil seemed to be implying that those worst fears would be realized.”
“i get that. and i . . . i am grateful, for what he did. for what you did.”
“i know.”
“father just . . . rattled me.”
“i confess that i am irked as well. he has been ill for years, and remy is confident that he is not on death’s doorstep despite his illness. there is no reason for him to be so insistent on this marriage. patton and virgil are more than just marriage partners.”
“i love him, lo. i - even if i didn’t have to, i would want to marry him.”
“i share the sentiment.”
“. . . i do love you, lo. even if you’re an annoying big brother sometimes.”
“and i love you as well, despite your constant annoying younger brother status.”
“hey!”
(patton, hiding in the hallway, giggles and scurries off to the hospital wing.)

PUPPY LOVE
Word Count: 2.2K
THUMP THUMP THUMP
"What the hell is that?" Renjun called from his bedroom in the general direction of his other roommates, who were relaxing in the living room. When he received no reply, and the hammering on their front door continued, Renjun made his way out into the other room.
Chenle and Jisung had been curled up together on the couch, but when the noise started they had both startled and sat up straight, staring wide-eyed at the other two older boys. Jeno and Jaemin were looking between each other, debating whether or not it was a good idea to let the maniacal door-knocker into their apartment.
"Is anyone going to answer the door?" Renjun replied irritated, ignoring the apprehension of his friends and walking towards the entrance. Just as Jisung was about to tell Renjun not to open it, he heard his name being called through the wooden door.
"Jisung, are you home?" Came the frantic voice Jisung recognised as his close friend, Y/N. "Someone please answer, I really need your help."
All the boys turned to face Jisung, as if he had the answer to why you were agitatedly trying to bang down their door. Jisung sat frozen to the couch, unsure what to do, until Chenle sharply nudged him under the ribs with his elbow. "Answer the door, dummy."
Jisung reached the door and opened it quickly, his eyes taking in your dishevelled state only causing his anxiety levels to raise higher than a healthy level. He grabbed your forearm and gently pulled you into the apartment, silently asking you to explain your situation.
Between shallow, shaky breaths, you managed to explain that you'd lost your dog, and by your unsteady hands and red, tear-stained eyes, the boys realised that this was a situation they had to take seriously. You'd come to them because you genuinely had no idea what else to do, and hoped they would be able to help.
Shocked into silence by your revelation that you'd lost the dog they'd been looking after just hours earlier, it took Jisung and his friends a few long moments to finally kick themselves into action. Renjun, who was still standing, moved to the entrance and slipped a pair of sandals on hurriedly. He placed a hand on your shoulder and said, "I'll come back with you to your place so you can grab Saja's leash and some treats."
Barely registering your own head nodding, you allowed Renjun to lead you back to your own apartment to prepare for the search and rescue mission of your dog. After the door to their own apartment shut, Chenle, Jeno, and Jaemin headed to their respective rooms to grab sturdy walking shoes and loose sweaters. The fact Jisung's arguably favourite dog had just done a runner seemed to take a longer time to register in Jisung's head, but when it did, he was a mess.
Following his friend's leads and running to his room, he hastily threw on a pair of mismatched runners and was the first one ready to leave. "Come on!" He cried impatiently as his friends came back from their rooms, moving from foot to foot as he waited in front of the door.
Jaemin eyed his younger roommate carefully before stating, "getting so worked up isn't going to help us find Saja."
Barely managing to roll his eyes, Jisung distracted himself by opening the door and ushering the others out into the hallway. "If I find Saja for Y/N, then she will like me more."
Both Jeno and Jaemin shared an incredulous look, but before either of them could respond you and Renjun came bursting from your apartment carrying a harness, leash, and bag filled with dog snacks. Without saying a word to the others, you guided them to the stairwell and down the floors as quick as your messily tied shoes could carry you.
When you made it out onto the street, into the still-warm summer night air, you realised just how unprepared you actually were. It had been about ten minutes since Saja had disappeared on you, and you had no idea which way he had actually gone. He was there one second, and gone the next.
"I lost him over there," you managed, pointing towards a dumpster by the side of your apartment building. "He could be anywhere by now."
"Okay, so here's what's going to happen," Renjun started, obviously the most clear-headed out of the six of you. "I'll take Y/N and go this way, Jeno and Chenle can go the opposite way, and Jaemin and Jisung can go that way."
Jisung found himself a little miffed that he wasn't able to pair off with you, but it made sense because neither of you were really in the right mind to effectively look for your dog together. At least Jaemin would be able to calm Jisung's worries. Renjun continued, "we will search for half an hour first before we start to regroup and search the pounds. If you see Saja, grab his collar and by god, don't let go. Understand?"
Everyone nodded, and with that silent agreement you all split off into your own directions.
Jisung and Jaemin were given the task of searching north, and started heading off down a road which would eventually lead them to the river. For the most part, their search was wholly void of conversation as they both called Saja's name and peered behind rubbish bins, bus stops, and down darkened alleyways. After twenty-five minutes of fruitless searching, the road turned into a pedestrian only walkway and there really wasn't anything Jisung and Jaemin could do besides head forwards.
As they checked behind a shrub way too small to hide the shiba inu they were after, Jaemin decided to finally break the silence. "When you said you wanted to find Saja to get Y/N to like you, what did you mean by that?"
Jisung tried to groan, but because of his nerves it came out more like an awkward voice crack. Managing to contain his nerves for a second, he said "I know how much Y/N loves this dog, and I'm really scared for her. The time I've spent walking him with her and seeing how much she fawns over him...Saja feels like he's my dog too."
Jaemin let out a short, affectionate laugh. "I could tell you liked Saja when he was staying with us, and that explains your nerves. But you completely avoided my question."
This time, Jisung did groan. "If you're trying to get me to admit I like Y/N, then you're wasting your time. You already know the answer to that." A beat of silence passed, and knowing he had Jaemin's full support, Jisung added, "I'm sick of feeling like a boy compared to you and Jeno and Renjun. I want Y/N to see me as a man, and I think that by finding her dog I might be a hero to her."
As Jaemin started cooing at Jisung's curious admission, Jisung shoved the older boy away from him with a huff and finally focused on the mission at hand again. Although it was summer, the light of the day was starting to fade, and the anxiety started to seep back in. In his peripheral vision, Jisung noticed a small movement. He didn't think too much of it, assuming it was just Jaemin, until he realised Jaemin had stopped paces back to tie up his shoe laces. Looking closer, Jisung's chest was filled with childlike hope as he spotted a familiar tan coat of fur.
-
After searching for so long and finding absolutely nothing, you were just about ready to give up. Renjun, to his credit, had indulged in your worry and had been searching behind every single chair, bush, and object you came around in the hopes of finding your dog there, even though he knew half the things you two were looking behind were not big enough to conceal Saja anyway.
At some point, you'd walked by the entrance to the subway station closest to your house and found Elodie and Yeonmi wandering around the area, aimlessly searching for your dog. In your fretful state, you'd completely forgotten to introduce your friends to Renjun, but it appeared no one blamed you and they'd been getting on fine so far.
"Y/N, it's been half an hour," Renjun mentioned quietly, coming up to place a hand on your shoulder while you searched under a parked car. "I'll give Jaemin and Jeno a call and we can start deciding who goes to search which pounds."
Straightening up, you felt your cheeks dampen and you realised you'd started crying again. The thought of your beloved Saja being locked in a cold, dirty cage, terrified and entirely alone, was too much for your heart to handle. Elodie came up to you and quietly wrapped her arms around you, pulling you close to her body and surrounding you in the warmth of her large jacket.
Yeonmi rubbed small, slow circles on your back as Elodie released you, and reassured, "Saja being in a pound isn't great, but at least he's safe there. We will find him."
"Okay," you sniffled, wiping your nose on the tissue Renjun had kindly handed you earlier. "I guess we should go back." Renjun nodded resignedly, and started walking back the way you had come. Elodie let out a defeated, sad sigh, and you almost didn't hear your phone ringing over how loud she was exhaling.
"Jisung?" You questioned in disbelief once you'd managed to grab your phone and read the caller ID. Your three friends halted in their steps and turned around to stare at you when they realised who was calling. They couldn't hear what Jisung was saying, but by the absolutely relieved smile that washed over your face they could tell it was good news. "Oh my god, I literally love you, Jisung! Okay, we'll be over as soon as possible."
Elodie and Yeonmi shared a knowing look at your praising of Jisung, and were happy to finally see the anxiety roll off your shoulders and a wide smile on your face. "Him and Jaemin found Saja down by the river, where Jisung and I usually took him on walks. I should have known!"
Putting your metaphorical running shoes on (you were actually wearing slides), you sprinted as fast as you could to where Jisung said he was, Renjun, Elodie, and Yeonmi trailing behind you begging you to slow down. With Saja's leash in one hand, and your phone gripped in your other, the concrete under your feet switched to grass as you approached Jisung and Saja's location.
You detected two figures crouched down on the grass, stroking the fur of a familiar dog. As you got closer, Jaemin registered your presence and stood up, stepping away from Saja. His friend's sudden movement caused Jisung to also look towards you, and a shy smile graced his face as his hand held onto Saja's collar tightly. Jogging towards them and completely out of breath, you managed an 'oh my god, you found him' before you fell to your knees in front of your excited dog.
Clearly oblivious to the commotion and panic he'd caused, Saja gave your cheeks a generous amount of slobbery licks, not quite sure why you were burying your face into his fur so tightly but thankful for the attention nonetheless. After a few long seconds, you pulled yourself away from your dog and clipped his leash onto his collar, making it harder for him to bolt away if he so chose to.
Standing up on trembling legs, you passed the leash over to Jaemin; behind you you could hear that Renjun, Elodie, and Yeonmi had finally arrived. Through heavy, wheezy gasps Renjun panted, "damn, Y/N, who knew you were so speedy?"
Ignoring Renjun, you turned your attention to Jisung, the one who you assumed had found Saja and called you to tell you the great news. He stood over a head taller than you, and was watching you with a twinkle in his eyes - he was simply happy to see you so happy.
Without thinking, you suddenly threw your arms around his neck in a surprise embrace. Jisung stumbled back slightly, totally unprepared for your affectionate attack, but managed to steady himself and place his hand on your lower back, subtly pulling you closer into him. You couldn't resist burying yourself into the space between his shoulder and neck, and he ran a gentle hand over your hair in an act of reassurance. "Everything is okay now."
"Oh Jisung, I was so so worried," you whispered into his t-shirt, feeling tears brimming in the corner of your eyes again and hoping you wouldn't leave a stain in the fabric.
"I know," he soothed, "but Saja is safe now."
Regaining your composure after relishing in the warmth of Jisung's hug, you finally pulled away from him, earning yourself a sigh from the tall boy. Looking up at him and finding him slightly flushed, you stood on your tip toes and placed a soft kiss on his cheek, mere millimetres away from his lips. He let out a startled yelp, but didn't pull away, although his face bloomed a delicious colour of red when he realised all your friends were watching you with affectionate grins on their faces.
"It's all thanks to you, Jisung!" You asserted happily. "I guess I really do owe you that dinner date now!"

My Dear Demon
FEM READER X OVERHAUL
💞Art doesn’t belong to me~ All credit goes to the owners! Just thought they’d help with the visual!💞
AU:
(Takes place in a My Hero Academia x Demon slayer world)
Makes it more complicated but fun :D
Important background for the story before this all goes down:
You decided to go to the store with your boyfriend, Kai, since you started cooking and didn’t have enough ingredients. You forgot you cut your finger with a knife. You turned around in the alley to see your boyfriend who turned into a demon(his bird demon self) he took a huge bite out of the middle of your body and was too overwhelmed to try to think reasonably in his demon form. Someone from the demon slayer corps was called right away without your knowledge.
Warning: CONTAINS A LOT OF BLOOD
Tumblr media
He stood above his angel’s corpse. She was bleeding out. But that angel’s last concern as her lover’s demon form hovered above he looked like a giant crow. that had unhinged its jaw at the full potential. His mask still on him with long black strings that stayed outside as blood leaked through them. The scene looked like this demon crown was trying to peck at a worm. His teeth filled with blood as it dripped back onto it’s victim. His amber eyes swelling with tears as his mouth remained open. He had a purple feathery neck while the rest of his body had wings and flowy brown locks that rested on his head. He was disgusted with himself. He was always careful to not let his demon side take control. He had every restraint ready for the moment he needed blood. But was a kiss on their Now last date really how it ends? He cries as his mouth opens wider as his teeth become more visible. Dripping with his angel’s blood.
His teeth grow sharper and the rests of his feathery body around his beloved as demon slayers appear before him. Warned by his neighbors since they had somehow seen it take place in the alleyway. “Your fine, Angel.” I won’t allow anything les-.”He was interrupted by his angel. “Kai.... just live for me....” His eyes widened in shock as he grabbed onto me tighter. Trying not to worry me more with his expression. If he wasn’t tending to you at the moment. He would have killed everyone who even dared try to “save you” from h i m.
Zenitsu Agatsuma. Appeared in front of him. “L-let her go!” He quivered through his words. “I...I- I!!” Ze-Zenitsu Agatsuma will slay y-you!” His sword shook back and forth. Trying to threaten him. But wings wrapped around her bloody body. He held you for a moment. Not letting you say a word. “I love you (Y/n.)” Thank you for always...being with me....”Even though his mouth has sharp teeth. His lips touched yours in a bloody embrace. Due to his demon form. He could consume the blood from your mouth. You both gasped out. His deeper as he placed you back on the soft grass. He stared at the one with the yellow hair and his worried expression made him an easy target. He came at Zenitsu with all his force. Unfortunately he wasn’t alone. A girl with something like a barrier in her mouth smelled like him but she was trying to get her out of his grasp as he grabbed her with his wing and widened his mouth. Ready to take a bite of his own kind. He shook and tightened more but due to the girl’s claws. She was out of his grasp and he had bruises on both wings. Even some blood marks. Nezuko picked you up and jumped over to her other teammates. This enraged Chisaki more, and he chased after her with all his might. “YOU BRAT-!” He called out as hissing echoed. “GIVE HER BACK TO ME!” He reached out angrily and his once calm amber eyes had the intent to kill. “GIVE ME BACK (Y/n)!”
Tumblr media
His voice sounded like a mixture of anger and sadness. Like his will was breaking with each parting space he had away from his angel. His anger was at it’s limit as he saw Nezuko caress your (h/c) locks and how your (e/c) eyes seemed to weakened and rest while she ran. How dare you have any comfort in this. How dare you find comfort in anyone other than him.
“Nezuko! Bring her here!” A boy with hanafuda earrings calls out the girl with fangs. Her speed allows her to glide fast and follow the orders. But before she can. Chisaki snaps. He goes into a full rage, and strikes the bright pinked eyed girl right in the back with his wings. Using his quirk to heal the blood wounds and attack at full force. You fell on the ground. Now wide awake. But unable to move. It seems like your bleeding had worsened. Now you were bleeding out more than before. But all you wanted was to go back home with Kai, and figure things out. Nezuko falls to the ground. Followed by the hanafuda earrings guy to rush over. Zenitsu panicked and went to make sure his precious Nezuko was okay.
Overhaul turned back to his darling on the grass. “Y/n.” He spoke. His voice not sounding like his usual self. “My dear...My angel, (Y/n)....” He said. Gently stroking your head. His voice broke into parts and he eventually lost control and took his now claws and held you close to him. Putting you in a tight hug as his demon from fades and you were in his arms once more. Facing his back. He put your head on his shoulders. Making sure you didn’t move. He could heal you. But before he could even take off his gloves. You grabbed his hand. Almost barely missing it, and held his blood covered chin closer to yours. Your (e/c) orbs shined as tears fell. Not for your sake. But for his. Tears fell more from his sullen amber eyes. “All- All you have to do is tell them-.” You open your eyes periodically. You go wide eyed. Unable to move since the pain in your chest and the blood pouring out is too much to bear. He sees your struggle and tightens his grip more. Your eyes meet and he begins to flood his vision once more.”I’m sorry....(Y/n).... I should have controlled myself better.....”
You both looked into each other’s eyes calmly. Admiring how loving you both were. “I love you.....” you spoke. Making his eyes tilt down. Making him remember just how much you were his weakness. The only thing that helped him forget his real form. You both looked at each other and exchanged words of love. “I’ll love you forever...only me....”You nodded in joy as you exchanged kisses and held each other as you both forget about the demon slayers around you.
Tumblr media
You started again. Ignoring the chaos around you. ”My love.... He stood up. You still hanging in his arms. “Will you stay with me....even if this happens again?” You were silent. He stared at you. Waiting for his response. “I love you Kai....I always will.” You were heartbroken he’d even have to ask that. You loved Kai, and you always wanted to be with him. Demon or not. Once again. A grin appeared from his face. He wiped the blood forming on your mouth. “I’ll fix you angel....” He used one hand to hold onto you and used his mouth to pull off his glove. “Thank you, Kai- I-“ He reached for your open wound. Before a knife appeared through his chest.
Your love’s eyes widened. He was sliced in the back. He dropped you and fell to the floor. Your bleeding worsened as you dragged yourself towards Kai. Holding onto his bare hand as his shaking pupils didn’t leave yours. You didn’t even have a chance to say your goodbyes. As your boyfriend grabbed onto your hand. His bare hand and just smiled. “Just be happy... Angel...”Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Nezuko. Just stared as he vanished. Not used to how you treated him. You were crying by his side as he faded away. Tears never ending as your screamed out his name. If he was alive. He would have been overjoyed as well. You placed your forehead on his, and your tears went at the same pace as you both said you byes. Nothing you could do now anyways.
“You’ll always be my precious....*cough* angel.” He chuckled. Unable to wipe the tears. You laughed as you put his fading dissinagrating forehead onto yours.
“You dummy.” You laughed through the waterfall appearing on your faave. You’ll always be my dear demon.” Chisaki wishes he could have seen you with a smile for his last moments. But in the end. He knew you would never be the same without him. But he was just happy to get to have you with him while he faded. You both laughed in unison as the demon slayers backed away. It was better this way.... better... this way...
You lied to yourself that day. You may for the rest of your life, as you payed the demon slayers to go away. For their murder. But you couldn’t even began to describe the emotions you felt.
‘I’m f i n e.” You said through gritted teeth before the one named Tanjiro could even offer to help you off as Kai finally faded off. Leaving nothing but his jacket and gloves behind. You put on his jacket and placed his gloves on. Oh how annoyed he would be if he ever had seen you do that. ‘How u n s a n i t a r y angel.’ You mocked his voice in your head before turning back to the ones who had done their jobs. But had hurt their customer in the process.
As you payed them for their service. Just to get them to leave you forever. You faked a smile and watched them off. They smiled back. Not being phased by who they had just killed without asking. The one named Tanjiro patted your back and told you that you can find happiness again. You wound was healed thanks to them. But you just faked a smile and saw them off. Turning back to where the deed was done. Wondering now. What was next for you. While you walked down to the other side of the alley. You couldn’t help but let a few drops leave your eyes and you did nothing but stare down at the concrete and mutter to yourself.
“ I miss you, Kai....” I’d gladly bleed out again for you... just to have you with me...” You felt a breeze go through the jacket and you turned around slightly. Wanting it to be a sign. You saw shoes appear before you in the alley way. Coming out from the door that lead to inside the Shie Hassaikai. A man turned around and dusted off his black suit. He froze as he saw you in a very familiar jacket. You stared at him as he just peered down from the stairs. You saw a smirk under his back face mask as he leaned on the railing. “Very stylish.... wonder who you got it from?”
You paused for a moment. Stiffening in your spot as you looked up at him. Tears suddenly releasing from your eyes faster. Blurring your vision as he got closer to you.
“K-K- K-Kai?”

Choice #7; Cowboy/Steampunk Fusion
Right, here we go with lucky #7; So, a Gotham that is still kind of young and a bit like the Old West like Back to the Future Part 3. The Wayne's are throwing a party with their 8-year-old daughter, Bryce in attendance.
Everything is going swimmingly until a youngish Theo Galavan and his Maniax show up, including 14-year-old Jerome and Jeremiah, as well as 'Matches' Malone intent on robbing the place.
Anyway, Jerome and Jeremiah think Bryce is cute but are a little messed up in the head so they think branding her with their mark is like a promise ring as they promise they are going to be big time Outlaws and treat her like a queen, and the brand is meant to scare other hoodlums off.
Thomas naturally goes to protect his daughter but Theo, who was looking for an excuse, shoots him, then Martha. He hits Bryce and sets fire to the home, figuring he's killed the last of the Wayne's, so now there's nothing stopping him from taking over Gotham.
Too bad he didn't see Matches go back inside to save poor little Bryce. Remember how Matches said he doesn't kill babies? Well, I expanded that to kids as well. Now, Matches feels bad for his part in Bryce becoming an orphan so he takes her and moves away from Gotham to help make her strong and train her to be a bounty hunter. Along the way, she meets and is trained by old west heroes like Bat Lash, El Diablo (Lazarus Lane), and of course Jonah Hex.
Matches also teaches her the most important thing she'll need to know to get close to Theo Galavan; how to act and sound like a man. To be a perfect duality; female vigilante and male Bounty Hunter. As she reaches her 18th year, he knows he's dying, so he kills himself after explaining everything she'll need to know, and makes it look like she killed him, so 'The Bat' will have her first Bounty, and she goes one step further; as she was branded, so too will she brand her victims with the insignia of a bat. For her male persona, she takes the name, Matthew Malone.
It takes her a year to make it back to Gotham as Matches took her to Mexico or something to keep her safe, and along the way she meets Lucius Fox who worked for her father, and Lee Thompkins, a doctor who was run out of Gotham by Galavan's partner, Sofia Falcone.
She helps Lee sneak back into Gotham, disguised as Thomas Leslie (if you have a better suggestion, I'm open to it). Gotham has changed a fair bit in the eleven years she’s been gone as there are now fairly tall skyscrapers, but people still get around by horse and buggy, though these horses are robots, hence the steampunk element. By an amazing coincidence, the saloon Matthew stops in at to get a cold beer, is patroned by the Valeska brothers, who still work for Galavan but now have their own crew; who else, but the Horribles. Everyone else clears out when the Horribles announce their impending arrival, but 'Matthew' wants to finish his beer, then he'll leave. Jerome tries to hassle him, but Matthew ignores him until Jerome goes for Matthew's gun (yes, he has a gun, I will explain later), only to find Matthew has a dummy gun that is coated with a mild form of Tetrodotoxin; not enough to kill him, but his arm and mouth go numb. Others would be offended at this; Jerome, his brother, and the others all find it hilarious; even Victor laughs at it. Matthew then pulls out $100 bill and pays for the first round of drinks for the Horribles as apology for the gun.
Matthew goes to leave but the Horribles invite him to have a drink with them; anyone who can shut Jerome up deserves a drink. They ask him if he's a Bounty Hunter with the kind of money he has, and he answers yes. They ask him about his family, and he‘reveals' he's the‘son' of Matches Malone, who Jerome and Jeremiah vaguely remember. When Matthew reveals his father was killed by The Bat, the others are intrigued and ask if he actually saw The Bat as no one is certain if she's real or just a legend. Matthew then rolls up his sleeve and reveals a 'Bat Brand', which she gave him when he tried to protect his father.
Before more can be said, Selina Kyle, protege of Tabitha Galavan and Bryce's childhood friend comes in with some news she just got from the telegraph office; The Bat was sighted not too far from Gotham, and may be on her way to their city. The Horribles are all excited to test their skills against The Bat, but Matthew warns them that she is lightning quick with her whip and daggers and is good at using the shadows to disappear, and that's without taking into account her horse; a large black stallion named Daredevil (if you think it should be Ace, tell me, but Daredevil sounded more ‘Old West’), a far cry from the steampunk horses everyone in Gotham uses. He then rises to leave, saying he's hoping to find lodgings and work in Gotham for maybe a month as his last Bounty managed to get him pretty good, and he could do with some steady work for a bit. Selina offers a room at the 'House of Instant Happiness' she owns; normally $50 a night, but she'll knock it down to $40 if he helps keep the rowdier customers under control the nights he's there. He agrees, and they shake on it; Selina notes in passing that, even for gloved, powerful hands, they seem a little small for a man, but brushes it off.
That night, someone from the Narrows is dragged out into the streets as he can't afford his ‘protection' this week, so Sophia is determined to make an example of him; as her enforcer goes to pull the trigger, however, a large piece of metal, later determined to be in the shape of a bat, comes whistling through the night and hits the guy right in the hand, taking it off; The Bat has come to Gotham. She swings down and informs Sofia that ‘she has never liked bullies'. Sofia responds that she doesn't like rodents that get in her way. The Bat responds that Sofia's face may be a little pinched, but there's no need to call herself a rodent.
A fight breaks out, and the worst injury The Bat gets is a black-eye while she takes down three of Sofia's best men and Daredevil takes out one of Galavan's men. The next day, Matthew is again at the Saloon when the Horribles arrive and they ask him if he's still looking for work. He responds yes he is, so they take him to see Mayor Galavan who is more than happy to take on the son of an ‘old friend'; it helps that Matthew can fight like nobodies business and is as good a shot as his father. While there, Matthew meets the Galavan's butler, and her heart clenches painfully in her chest; it's Alfred, and he just looks so downtrodden, not at all the man she remembers playing with her as a little girl. A week goes by with the days as Matthew and nights as The Bat, and Lee worries that Bryce will burn herself out before she gets her revenge, but Bryce is determined, more so ever since she saw Alfred. Matthew manages to move up a little when he manages to hold off the Bat long enough (maybe Lee in her costume? I haven't figured that out yet). What's surprising is how friendly Matthew gets with the Legion of Horribles as well as Deputy Mayor Oswald Cobblepot, his assistant Edward Nygma, and even his bodyguard, Victor Zsasz, all of whom are treated like dirt by Galavan and Sofia.
Bryce finally gets her chance; Galavan is holding a party at his house with his lieutenants, and Matthew is invited for protection. The setting is too perfect to pass up and she lays a bomb, ready to die herself if it means she'll take down Galavan as well. Problem is, Tabitha is there as well, which means Selina is there, along with the Horribles, Oswald, and poor Alfred is slaving away in the kitchen. She doesn't care about her own life, but she can't risk theirs; yes, Jerome and Jeremiah were there when her parents were killed and branded her, but she’s honestly come to like the two psychos. She manages to sneak a note to Selina, hoping she'll get the Horribles and Alfred out in time, signed by The Bat.
Selina manages to get the Horribles together and get them to Alfred, who was always rather nice to ‘The Freaks’ as Sofia and Galavan call them so they don’t want to see him get hurt either. When she shows Alfred the note, he just about has a heart attack; it may be more mature than when he last saw it, but he'd know that handwriting anywhere; it's *Bryce's* handwriting. He reveals a mark hidden on the paper near the signature; a heart with thorns wrapped around it;Bryce and Selina’s ‘secret symbol’ that they always signed their notes with to appear more ‘cool’. Selina can hardly believe her childhood friend is alive and well (if a little nuts to dress like some kind of Zorro/Bat hybrid and fight Outlaws) and Alfred, knowing his beloved little Mistress is alive, realizes why Matthew Malone looked so familiar. Matthew is really Bryce, which kick starts the reasoning in the twins minds; Matt, as Bryce, was the cute little girl they promised themselves to all those years ago. They manage to locate the bomb and disarm it.
Later, after the party, and Bryce mourns the lost chance of getting her revenge by warning Selina who must have found the bomb and disabled it out of loyalty to Tabitha, she meets up with Lucius at a cave just outside Gotham, unaware that the Horribles and Selina have followed her. They watch as Bryce, Lucius, and Lee all argue about just how far Bryce is willing to go in her revenge. Yeah, Lee wants to put Sofia in the ground, but she wants to be alive to enjoy it. Bryce responds that she has spent the last eleven years of her life training for this chance; learning sword and pistol, becoming ambidextrous so no one would even think to link left-handed Bat with right-handed Malone, learning to deepen her voice and more masculine habits so no one would suspect a thing. She hasn't gone through all that just to see Galavan get away with his crimes; she's going to kill him (remember, Bryce was raised by Matches, El Diablo, and Jonah Hex, not Alfred; she doesn’t quite have the same problem with killing as she normally would). Selina, Bridgit, Ivy, and Ecco all manage to get back to the city before Bryce and lay a trap in her room. When Matthew arrives, he and Selina talk for a few minutes before she deliberately calls him Bryce, and asks how she could not tell her that she was alive. Bryce goes for one of her smoke bombs to get out fast, but the others manage to ambush her, tie her up, and manage to knock her out before giving her to Jerome, Jeremiah, Jervis, Jonathan, and Victor so they can... interrogate her. ;)
They take her back to their private place where Jeremiah examines her arm and, sure enough, there's their old brand right where they left it when Thomas Wayne tried to stop them. He and the others, who are in a relationship, talk to her and find out her plan to kill Galavan, which they wouldn't mind as Galavan is a chicken-heart, no lip, slimy worm, but they also like Bryce so they don't want her to enact her suicide mission. To keep her from escaping, they tire her out with sex (cheesy, I know, but she is an escape artist and a very determined woman; they have to keep her energy low while they come up with a plan that doesn’t involve her dying). Bryce has had sex before, both as a woman and as a man (she has a strap-on, OK?), but it was always painful as her partners cared more for their pleasure than hers, which didn’t bother her as sex was just a tool to get close or a means of getting information. But the guys are all tender with her and make sure she enjoys it and she doesn’t know how to block this out like she does pain. Particularly with Jonathan as the little sweetie has never been with a woman before so the others guide him on what feels good for a woman; she’s embarrassed when he actually makes her squirt. But when she hears word that Galavan and Sofia have captured Lee and Lucius, she knocks them out with one of Jonathan's gas bombs, and goes to turn herself in. Galavan tortures her and Sofia goes to kill Lee, only for the Horribles, Oswald, Ed, Zsasz, and undercover lackey Joe Chill, who in reality is Marshal James Gordon to come charging in to save the day. During a scuffle, a lamp is knocked over, Sofia is killed by Barbara who wants Lee to be in a threesome with her and Tabitha (Lee: Hey, I’ll try anything once), and Galavan's house is set on fire. Bryce takes after Galavan, determined to see this end as it began. Victor can't follow because of all the flames and Jonathan's suit is hardly fireproof, so it's up to the other three. They see Galavan and Bryce fighting, but Galavan is about to get the upper hand and kill her when he's shot from behind; it's Alfred with a shotgun.
Alfred: Consider that my resignation from your service... Bloody Bastard.
It's not easy but they all manage to get out and Bryce will be laid up for a while, but she's done what she set out to do. Too bad she doesn't know what to do now that's gotten her revenge.
Bryce is in a room owned by the Sirens, surrounded by her friends just after the fire: Well, I should be up and around in about a week or two, then I’ll find a new city to go to and-
Ivy: Wait, you’re leaving?!
Male Horribles who have been waiting outside the room for the OK to come in but have been listening at the door: LEAVING?!
Bridgit sighs as she stands, rolls her eyes, walks to the door, opens it, and the male Horribles, excluding Victor as he naturally has more sense, all come tumbling into the room: Behold, Bryce; you’re idiots.

.overstimulation - aaron.
hehehehehe hi, my lovely babies. that’s my favorite so far, in my mind the scenario is so dreamy and perfect... oh god *sigh*
thank you all for reading my scenarios and for the happy birthday messages! the 25th never felt so nice! i’m late, but i hope you had a merry, merry xmas! also, bc you requested, I wrote on my bday so it was chill and pleasant. xoxo
1.395 words. enjoy!
Jogging with Aaron wasn't the worst thing ever after a few months. Eloise could keep up and even leave her vampire a little behind sometimes. She ran around and admired the flowers rather than plucking them (another thing Aaron made her get used to because he kept nagging at her for plucking them too much every day) or tried to make some bunny friends on the way back home. Her boyfriend would probably eat them anyway but, hey, how about trying?
Sometimes after the jogging, they'd both stop by a small river that created a little pond. The water was clear, and the couple would search for some rocks on the corners closer to them, then put a blanket down and stargaze for a little. One day, however, Eloise fell over, and the mud on her arms was itchy. Aaron set down the thick blanket, pulling out an apple for her, and started to cut it. Eloise kept moving.
"My beloved?" He called, a confused frown on his face. "Your apple is ready. I even cut bunny ears on them."
"I'm taking a bath before." She said, reaching for her shoes and untying them.
"Oh. Ok." He shrugged. "They'll be waiting when you're finished. I'll be watching you, but please be careful."
Eloise took off her pants and crouched closer to the water, washing off the mud on her arm. "I'm not hurt anywhere." Aaron murmured something that sounded like a "that's good, love," but she didn't pay much attention. She proceeded to pull off her shirt and put it with the rest of her clothes close to Aaron, who watched her quietly. Eloise knew nudity wasn't such a big subject on his head, and she was thankful for that because these moments where she felt more and more tuned in with her body came along, maybe because of her powers.
Eloise took off her bra and her panties, looking at Aaron.
"You're beautiful, love." He murmured, looking at her with a small smile gracing his pretty face.
"Beauty lays in the eyes of whoever sees it." She said with a little drama, making him snort. She made her way to the lake, shivering when her foot touched the chilly water.
"I think you've been taking Raph's recommendations to court me more too seriously."
Her laughter echoed around in a pleasant tone. Step by step, Eloise soon had her legs inside of the water. Aaron watched intently as her skin came in contact with the clear yet dark water, her hipbones, then her bellybutton, the underboobs, a little bit of her hair. For about half an hour, she swam elegantly underwater, stopping to breathe and collect some of the rocks from the floor. The moon was high in the sky.
"Eloise, come eat your apple. It's getting cold." He said when she popped her head out. She pouted but started to walk in his direction. Again, Aaron seemed mesmerized by her perky nipples, the way the droplets fell over her skin, and her hair cascading down her shoulders.
"Sit down and eat." She sat down close to him, but he stood up, pulling his shirt off. "I think I might dip a little too. You convinced me."
"What if you get sick?" She retorted, throwing an apple bunny into her mouth. He giggled at her pettiness.
"Are you serious?" She pouted.
"I wanted to be a big wolf too." She mumbled as he kicked his pants off and jumped in the water without many ceremonies.
"You are a big dummy already." Eloise cackled at that, biting at the other pieces and the remains of the ears he cut off.
"We're both dumb." His chuckle made her eyes crinkle with happiness. She folded their clothes and laid down, looking at the stars.
A few minutes passed, and the apple was gone. Eloise flinched, but it turned into a giggle when Aaron registered on her sight.
"Stop scaring me!" She smiled, running a hand through his wet hair. He smiled fondly.
"You're so, so beautiful." He repeated, leaning down to kiss her jaw. "I don't usually try to do anything just because you're naked, but god, you're so- so," he stops saying anything at all, latching his fangs on her neck. His naked flesh against hers felt cold, but the bite spread a blazing heat through her body. Aaron groaned softly, nestling himself between her legs and pulling her in his direction.
"I love you," Eloise whispered, running a hand through his hair.
"I'm going to do it at once. Is this alright?" The kiss after his question tasted like Iron, but it was also sweet.
"I love you more."
There was always a sting in taking Aaron, but the pleasure took over. He knew exactly how to work his hips to have her head spinning yet as still as ever. Slowly but surely, he set a pace.
"Don't hold back." He pulled her bottom lip from her teeth, watching her moan his name and cry out, shooting her arms forward to yank his head to her and give him another kiss.
"Are you already close?" His giggle made Eloise try to hide her face. "You're gripping so good."
Eloise put both hands on her eyes, legs closing around his hips. He picked up the pace, moaning an octave higher a few times and throwing his head back.
"Hmmm, too much." She pushed him off, but her legs still held him in place.
"You have a safeword. Do you not remember it?" She nodded, and he slowed down to wait, but no other words besides moaning came out of her. He picked up the pace, looking for discomfort on her face. She was moaning shamelessly now, two hands grabbing her breasts with bruising strength and pinching herself. Letting his weight fall on his knees, he put the pile of clothes under her tailbone and rubbed her clit roughly. Eloise keened, legs now being supported by his shoulders. The snapping sound echoed around, followed by his moaning and the occasional growl.
"I can't- ugh." She said, arching her back as much as she could before her legs started to shake, yet Aaron didn't stop. He was so close to his end, and she liked the overstimulation.
She was sobbing already, shaking her legs around and pushing him off.
"Do you need to use your safeword?" She shook her head no, giving Aaron the cue to keep rubbing on her button and edge her for a few minutes. "Wait for me."
"I can't!" She sobbed, grinding her hips with his. "Please just-" he pulled his hand off, tasting her on the tips of his fingers. Eloise reached out and clawed on his chest, falling back right after because he was too big for her to reach. He hissed approvingly at the bruises on his skin, leaning down to be within reach and pushing his hips to grind on her clit instead. Her nails ran through his back, and her teeth bit his neck.
"Fuck, love!" The exclaimed growl reached her ears, but she didn't even know who was moaning for a while. Her walls throbbed, coaxing him into her deeper then pushing him off, but he forced his way in just how she liked it. Aaron's loud calls for her warned her of the warm spurts she felt not too long after, all over her skin. Her chest, face, maybe even hair, but she collected the most with her tongue, swallowing it as if in a trance. Aaron's knees were trembling around her torso, and his eyes were still hazy.
"Are you ok?" When she nodded, his eyes darted everywhere on her face, then he sheepishly apologized and took her back to the water, washing her hair and face, tending to her sore muscles, and kissing the purple blotches on her neck tenderly.
"They'll be gone tomorrow, I promise." He said, laying on her stomach, now watching the moon on top of the sky.
"It's ok. I like it. Just wish I lasted more."
Just as she gave a parting sigh, missing this moment already, something hot attached to her core, making her keen and shake her legs. Aaron looked at her from below, a "pop" sound making her suck in a breath as he let go of her abused clit.
"Let's keep going, then. We have all night."

Before The Sun Sets
It was a beautiful day for the celebration in the Moon Kingdom. A wonderful event was occurring, celebrating the birth of the next heir to the throne, Princess Serenity. Everyone from the system was invited, including the King, Queen, and Prince of Earth. Among the other guests were the princess’s guardians Sailor Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter. It was an amazing event, filled with music, dancing, and a wonderful feast.
Finally began the presenting of the gifts. Queen Serenity sat on her throne, with her most loyal advisor Luna standing beside her. Luna, wearing a beautiful yellow dress for the occasion, was also the princess’s nanny. She stood near the cradle as the event took place. The representatives for the other planets presented their gifts for the sweet princess. Some material, others had gifts that were not physical, but more mystical to bestow on the fair maiden. When the royal family of Earth was called, Queen Gaia picked up her three-year-old son and walked beside her husband as they presented their gifts to the princess. The Earth prince, Endymion, looked at his betrothed and the second their eyes made contact, the infant princess smiled and laughed, causing little Endymion to giggle as well. Finally, it was the Inner Senshi’s turn to present their gifts. Each Sailor Senshi represented their planets and were currently only children, around the Earth age of five. They swore eternal loyalty and friendship to the princess.
However, a blast of thunder roared through the halls. A black wind swept through the room as it dimmed. As light began to return, the guests stared at a figure in the center space of the room. The figure was a woman with long black hair, tied in a pair of buns. Her skin was pale and she wore a long dress and wore crescent-shaped earrings on her pointed ears. She stared at Queen Serenity with her blue slit eyes and gave a wicked smile.
“I see so many faces, filled with such joy.”
“Queen Nehellenia, what are you doing here?” Sailor Jupiter demanded.
“I wished to see what could be such a joyous occasion. More importantly, what possible event could not possibly warrant the invitation of a queen.”
Princess Serenity’s cries began to fill the quiet room and Nehellenia looked towards the cradle.
“Ah, the birth of the heir of the Silver Millennium. You did not wish for me to know, dear Serenity.”
“Queen Nehellenia,” Queen Serenity said regally, “You were not invited because of my fear that you would wish ill on my subjects. If you come here with peaceful intentions, you may stay. But if your purpose is to inflict harm, I will ask you to leave. You are welcomed, but your darkness is not.”
Nehellenia gave a loud and wicked cackle, “Serenity, the darkness is as much a part of me as the light is for you. Yet I am resigned to the corner of the moon hidden from the light. You should know the light will always attract the darkness.”
As she spoke, the dark aura around her spread, and gusts of wind were unleashed. The people fell to their knees as the Senshi prepared to fight the wicked ruler.
The four Senshi unleashed their attacks on the evil queen, but they failed to make contact with the evil queen, as she casually walked past the attacks, unable to even touch her, and threw the Senshi aside, approaching Queen Serenity. Luna placed herself between the princess and the wicked queen. Queen Serenity summoned a wand with a crescent moon, holding the Silver Crystal.
“Begone uninvited guest,” she said as she unleashed a blast of light from the crystal. The evil queen fought back, trying to use the darkness to suppress the light. She then looked at the infant princess as she dissolved into the darkness. The darkness filled the room but Queen Serenity was shielded by the light of the Crystal as she began expelling it.
“Queen Serenity, I will take away the most precious thing you cherish. I still have not provided my gift for the blessed occasion. My gift for the princess is this prophecy. The princess shall die before she will rule your kingdom. A prick from the spindle of a spinning wheel shall end her life. This I swear. ”
As the last word filled the room, the darkness retreated from the palace.
As the darkness faded away, people started to gather themselves, now with a feeling of tension. The princess was crying, and the queen picked up her daughter, comforting her, as Luna began to stand, to catch her breath from the attack.
“Your highness,” the queen’s advisor, Luna said.
“There is still a chance to save the princess. I have not yet provided her gift. At this moment in such a celebration of joy, there is a chance we could save her.”
“Luna, even with such a gift, altering Nehellenia’s curse will come at a cost. Are you sure?”
“She is our kingdom’s hope. We will do what we must to ensure it.”
Queen Serenity watched as Luna walked to the cradle and Luna placed a hand on the baby’s forehead.
“Beloved Princess Serenity: should the worst come to pass, and your finger pricked by a spindle, my gift to you is hope. The terrible prophecy shall not bring death, but vast slumber. And through true love’s kiss, this curse shall break. This I promise.”
At her last words, a bright light filled the hall.  Luna was gone, replaced by a black cat, looking over the child.

However, even with Luna’s sacrifice to save the princess, it was clear the princess was not safe in her home on the Moon. After the celebration ended, the four guardians met to discuss how they could continue to protect their charge. While these girls may be children, they were trained on their home planet, preparing for any challenge they must face.
The four decided that it was best to take Princess Serenity away from her home and hide her away on another world until she came of age to inherit the kingdom and the Silver Crystal. They spoke with the Queen, who agreed and that night, the Senshi spirited her out of the castle, to the least likely place anyone would expect: Earth.
===========
“Usagi, get up!” the blonde-haired girl heard her friend shout, breaking her from her peaceful slumber.
“Why do you have to be so mean, Rei,” Usagi asked, hiding under her blanket.
“Ami tried to wake you, and you didn’t listen. So, now it’s my turn. Now get up. Breakfast is ready.”
Usagi sat up and stretched, letting out a loud yawn. The sun was shining into her small room. She washed herself, applying an elixir to her hair, unknowing that it was hiding her silver locks. After she finished washing, she put on her dress. Today was her birthday and she knew her friends had something planned for her. She wondered what it was. They were more guarded around her whenever the subject was brought up. But she had other things on mind.
===========
Makoto was preparing breakfast for the family. It had been sixteen years since the curse was placed on Serenity and the Senshi quietly spirited the dear princess from the Moon. They knew that Earth would be the last place the Queen of the Dark Moon and her ilk would expect to look when the princess had vanished.
Keeping their promise, the Senshi swore off their magic when raising Serenity. The last bit of magic they used was to create a cottage for them and the princess, along with furnishings.
They began calling the princess Usagi, and she grew up in a very happy home. They taught her about the planets and their kingdom and kept her educated on life in the kingdoms, though they had yet to tell her of her royalty. While they were protective of her, they gave her some space and freedom. Every morning, she’d go out to collect fruits and plants for their meals, as long as she promised to come back before dark. And occasionally, on days they needed materials, they would go into town and sometimes take Usagi with them.
They did, however, begin to notice that when Usagi went out to collect, she seemed to return a little later than she had in the past.
“Hm, that smells good,” Usagi said, coming downstairs, sitting in her seat as Makoto poured her some soup.
“So, do you have any plans,” Usagi asked.
“For what,” Rei answered, nonchalantly.
“Well, it is a special day,” Usagi said, waiting for someone to say something, “You know, like a special day for a certain girl…”
“Oh, right,” Ami said, looking up from her book, “It’s your birthday.”
“Happy birthday,” Makoto said, kissing her on the head.
“Wow, sixteen years, I can’t believe it. We should celebrate,” Minako said.
“Yeah, I’ll make you a special meal. We’ll celebrate when you get back,” Makoto said, handing Usagi the berry basket.
Usagi grabbed the basket. After she was gone, the four girls gathered.
“Is it just me or did she seem a little…eager to leave,” Rei asked.
“Maybe she wants to get back to catch us before her present is ready,” Minako said.
“Well, if she wants to spoil her party, then that is her fault, but right now we need to prepare,” Makoto said, gathering up supplies from the kitchen, “I’m going to make the best cake that the Usagi has ever had in her sixteen years.”
“I’ll set up the decorations,” Ami volunteered.
“I’ll make the dress,” Rei said, pulling out the fabrics and sewing supplies.
“And I’ll get the Sailor Wands,” Minako said, heading for the stairs.
Everyone immediately stopped and looked at her.
“What?” she asked, “It’s been sixteen years. We are just doing some quick chores for this one day.”
“Minako,” Ami said, “We can’t. We promised.”
“We can’t take that chance,” Makoto said.
“Minako stop this nonsense and come over here,” Rei said, “I need someone to be the dummy, and you and Usagi share a similar build.”
Disappointed, Minako walked back and stood near the sewing station.
“Since when can you sew,” Minako said, getting into position, as Rei began measuring.
“How hard can it really be?” Rei answered.
===========
Usagi strolled through the forest, humming. She grabbed a few berries and plants to bring back to the cottage. But she was searching for something else.
Suddenly, two hands covered her eyes.
“Got you, my lady,” the supposed assailant said. Once Usagi heard his voice she immediately relaxed. He let go, allowing her to turn around to a man dressed in servant’s attire for the royal family.
“Hello, Mamo-chan,” Usagi said sweetly.
“Usako,” he answered, using his special name for her, before giving her a sweet kiss.
Usagi had met the man, Mamoru, in the market several months ago. He was dressed in his filthy work attire, with his face dotted with dirt and grime, after having tripped in the street.
When their eyes had met, Usagi had known that she just had to talk to him. She was able to slip away from her guardians and the two had spent the day around the square. But as the day had ended, Usagi had known that her friends would be worried, so she had told the man that they could meet the following day, somewhere in the woods, near the creek. She had worried about how her friends might react if they saw someone knocking on their door, and she had been taught to be wary of telling someone where she lived, so she had figured that somewhere close to home would do.
They had begun meeting each other every few days. She had learned so much of him, and about life in the royal court of Earth. Their relationship had started off innocently, just simply talk or play. Learning about themselves, and their dreams. But it soon began to change into something more. A few weeks ago, they shared a first kiss, and their friendship changed forever.
She told him about her morning.
“Happy birthday, then,” he said.
“Thanks, it is a special one. My friends are planning something. I just know it.”
“I wish I could be there.”
“As do I. I know they would love you if they had the chance to get to know you. I wish they weren’t so overprotective.”
“It’s alright. I enjoy our time here.”
They strolled through the forest and talked about their day. Apparently, the Earth court was busy lately. The royal family was planning for a huge trip to the Moon. Soon, the teleporter to the Moon would be set and the family would be on their way.
Finally, the two reached an overlook on top of a hill and enjoyed the scenery of the kingdom.
It was too soon, as Usagi had to return home before her friends worried. She reached her meeting spot, where she’d part with her beloved. But Usagi didn’t want it to end yet.
“Mamo-chan,” Usagi said, stopping him in his tracks as he was heading in the other direction, “I would really love it if you could visit me tonight. At the cottage.”
“Really?”
“Yes. I’m tired of hiding you. I want you to meet them tonight.”
“I’ll come with you right now, if you want.”
“No. It’s better to wait until tonight. If they see you with me, they’ll panic and I do not want to know what they might do. I’ll tell them about us when I get home. It will give them some time to cool.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes. I love you and I want you in my life.”
“I love you too, Usako. I can’t wait,” he said, smiling.
“Remember, tonight. Right after sunset.”
“I look forward to it.”
They shared one more kiss, before heading in their respective directions.
===========
Makoto was finishing her four layer cake, and Ami was trying to hang the last of the decorations. As Rei tried sewing in the final stitches, Minako continued looking in the mirror with disgust. The fabric colors were clashing, the seams were hanging loose, barely holding the dress together, and Minako knew the dress was only one wrong step from falling apart.
“Perfect,” Makoto said, finishing icing the pastry, “Just need to add some candles.”
“Wow, Ami, the decorations…” Makoto began, finally noticing Ami’s work. Honestly, Makoto thought, while the decorations were nice, Ami covered most of the ceiling and the wall with them. And some of them were hanging, obtrusively, at neck level.
“Well, if Usagi didn’t know it was her birthday, she will certainly know when she walks through the door,” Makoto finished.
“And finished,” Rei announced, sewing in the last stitch. Ami and Makoto turned to see the dress Minako was begrudgingly modeling.
“Wow,” Ami said, “It’s certainly not the way it looked in the book.”
“I can honestly say you’ve added your own style to it,” Makoto said, trying to stifle a laugh.
“Really? Thanks,” Rei said, looking at the dress, “Hm, I think perhaps it might need a few more ruffles. What do you think, Minako?”
“What do I think,” Minako echoed, bitterly, “Well I-”
Minako turned and tripped on the long skirt, ripping the dress, as the seams began to unravel. She quickly grabbed one of the hanging paper-chain-ring decorations and it ripped off the ceiling, taking down the long line of rings, with one of the chains getting tangled around the cake As the girls went to help Minako up, Rei tripped over the fallen decoration and the cake was dragged off the table, onto the ground.
As Minako began to get up, she slipped on some icing and got covered in some cake. Everyone was silent, seeing all their hard work undone.
“That’s IT!” Minako shouted.
“Now, please be reasonable,” Ami said, trying to calm her fellow Senshi.
“Reasonable? I’m covered in cake and in a dress that was a mess before it trashed the house. And Usagi will be home within the hour.”
She stood up, and marched upstairs, with the dress pieces just falling off her in her path.
“Desperate times, desperate measures. I’m getting the wands!”
Rei picked up some of the pieces of cloth from the ruined dress, “Hate to say it, but I think she’s right.”
“Here we go,” Minako said, happily, showing their wands, which glowed.
“Careful,” Rei immediately said, “If we’re doing this, we have to do this right.”
Ami nodded, “We can’t let anyone know of this.”
“Alright,” Minako agreed, “Doors, windows, cracks, nothing gets a peek inside this house.”
The girls darkened the cottage, cutting off any natural light from getting in. But soon as the girls grabbed their wands, the place began to light up as the wands began brightening the room.
“Okay, so since we are pressed on time, we all do the same tasks as before,” Rei said, “I’ll make the dress, Ami will decorate the cottage, and Makoto makes the cake.”
“Hey, this was my idea,” Minako pointed out.
“Which is why you have the task of making this place spotless before Usagi gets home.”
“Fine,” Minako said, begrudgingly.
The girls went to their individual tasks:
Minako animated the cleaning utensils such as the broom and dust pan and other supplies, and began cleaning up the mess. She had the floor mopped and she was able to dry it quickly before anyone could slip on it.
Ami commanded the decorations to rise up and place themselves on the walls and ceiling, though this time higher, no longer a hazard to anyone passing by it. They looked more organized and less cluttered.
Rei waved her wand and the unused cloth pulled out. With cloth and scissors, and sewing material in motion, a beautiful dress was formed, not a stitch out of place. Something that was more suitable for a princess to wear.
Makoto was now in the kitchen, commanding the ingredients to go into motion to form her cake. While she preferred the satisfaction of cooking the mortal way, there was no getting around the speed needed that only magic could provide. The cake took shape and she waved her wand to cook the dough, ready within minutes, and she put the candles and icing in place.
The girls were finishing their tasks when they heard the gate outside open.
“Usagi’s back!” Makoto said, hearing Usagi humming. The girls quickly cleaned up their work spaces, and hid just as soon as Usagi opened the door.
“I’m home-” Usagi gasped, seeing the place decorated along with a lovely dress and a delicious cake.
“Surprise!” the girls shouted in joy.
“Oh this is so lovely,” Usagi said, looking at the room, “I can’t believe you all did this for me.”
“It’s a special day,” Minako answered, “and we have another surprise for you too.”
“Actually,” Usagi began, “I actually have a surprise for you, as well.”
Usagi cleared her throat.
“Well, um, for the past few months now, I have been meeting with someone, and invited him-”
“Wait, you met some stranger and he’s coming here?!” Rei interrupted. The girls bombarded her with questions.
“Who is he!?”
“What did he say to you?”
“Please, he is not dangerous,” Usagi answered, “We have been meeting for a while now.”
“Why didn’t you tell us?”
“Because you have always been so overprotective. I wanted to meet him without having to worry he would be scared off by my sisters.”
Usagi continued, “Anyways, we have kinda been...courting.”
“Usagi!”
“He was a perfect gentleman,” she continued, “I invited him over to meet you all tonight. He is a wonderful man and he is kind and-”
“Oh no, she’s in love,” Makoto interrupted.
Usagi said nothing but blushed in response.
“Usagi, I’m sorry to say this, but that is not going to work out. You’re going to have to stop seeing him,” Ami sympathized.
“What, why?! Why can’t I be in love? You haven’t even met him, so I don’t see why you are suddenly forbiddening me to see him.”
“Because you are already betrothed,” Minako blurted out.
“What?” Usagi was stunned. Rei glared at Minako, but looked back to Usagi.
“You are betrothed to the heir apparent of the Golden Kingdom of Earth. Prince Endymion.”
“That’s not possible. I can’t be betrothed. I’m just a peasant.”
“No, you are not. You are royalty. You are Princess Serenity, the long lost daughter of the Silver Millennium.”
Usagi’s eyes widened. She had no idea how she could possibly believe such news.
“That’s not possible,” she said, trying to form a coherent thought.
“It’s true,” Ami said, “We’ve been keeping you safe all these years, and tonight you will be revealed to the court, safe and sound.”
“And I have to marry a stranger? You can’t do this. I never asked for much, but this I know I want. Please don’t take him from me.”
“I’m sorry Serenity-”
“Don’t call me that! It’s not fair. I can’t-”
The princess began to breathe heavily and she fell to the ground. The girls ran to help her, but she screamed. She grabbed her head and suddenly the crescent moon symbol appeared on her forehead. As she screamed, a bright light shot up from the spot where she collapsed, into the sky. It lasted for a few seconds, but soon the light faded, and she was there, still displaying the crescent moon mark, and her hair turned silver.
“Your coming into your powers,” Ami said, “You are becoming the true princess of the Moon”
“We have to pack, right now,” Minako said, “I’m sorry we can’t ease you into this, but anyone might have seen that light. We have to move, get her to the Moon before sundown.”
Usagi looked up, her face still covered in tears, “But I promised Mamoru I’d be here. He’s expecting me to be here.”
“I’m sorry princess, but we have to go. I know this is harsh, but it is best you put him out of your mind,” Rei concluded
As they all hurried to pack, they failed to see a winged fiery eyeball watching them, hearing everything they say, before flying back to its wicked queen.

Before the final day was over, the Senshi returned to the Moon, with their princess. They did not inform anyone of their arrival, just in case Nehellenia had spies planted in court. They didn’t even tell Queen Serenity, so that she would act normally, until the prophecy was defeated by sundown.
They finally made it to Princess Serenity’s intended room. The bed was all made up for her, and the place was decorated in the moon culture fashion. They helped her prepare for the ceremony and got her dressed into the gown Rei had made for her birthday.
“Princess,” Sailor Jupiter said, looking at the dresser mirror, “You look so beautiful.”
Serenity held back her tears, trying not to ruin the work her friends had done with her make up.
“I promise, princess, you will be happy,” Sailor Venus said, and quietly talked to the others in a whispered voice, “I just heard. The prince is running late. He did not arrive with the rest of Earth’s royal family.”
“Do we know when he will arrive?” Sailor Mercury asked.
“No. Hopefully soon.”
“Please,” Serenity began, “Can I please just...”
“C’mon,” Sailor Mars said, herding the others out, “She needs a few minutes.”
“We will be right outside, if you need us” said Sailor Jupiter, closing the door behind them, leaving the princess with her thoughts.
Serenity could not hold back her tears.
“Mamo-chan,” she whispered to herself.
“Usako“
Serenity turned around and saw a passageway she did not notice before. She got up and heard an echo through it. She got closer and closer to the passage, but felt a force, resisting her attempt to walk through.
“Mamo-chan?!” she shouted down the corridor.
“Usako”, Mamoru’s voice shouted back from a distance.
With more force, Serenity pushed through, into the passage. Unbeknownst to the princess, her Senshi arrived just in time to see her push her way through a big mirror.
Serenity climbed the stairs. The corridors made no sense, and she was surely going to be lost for days, but she continued to follow her love’s voice, calling to her. She finally reached a tower, and as she opened the door, she lost her breath. Standing in the room was Mamoru, still in the same outfit as he was wearing earlier that day.
“Mamo-chan,” Serenity said, about to cry. “What?”
“I saw you leaving and I had to find you. I am so glad you’re here.”
“Is this...” Serenity started, “Is this real?”
Mamoru extended his hand, offering it “Let me prove it.”
She hesitated, but she looked into his beautiful eyes, and unconsciously reached out for him, accepting his hand. But instead of the comforting warmth she was expecting, she felt a pinch on her forefinger. She looked at her hand and saw in front of her a spinning wheel, with a sharpened spindle, which she scratched her finger on. She looked back up and in place of her love stood a tall scary woman. Before the princess could say anything, she felt her eyelids getting heavy and she started to get dizzy, and soon everything went black.
===========
“I feel so bad for her,” Venus said, “She meets the love of her life, and we just took it from her.”
“Our duty is to the princess. She might not like all our decisions, but we are doing this for her,” Mars responded.
“And this is better for both kingdoms,” Jupiter added, “After years, we are so close to peace.”
“It still sucks.”
“Wait, do you feel that,” Mercury interrupted them. The girls stopped and felt a dark chill down their spines. They felt it coming from Serenity’s room.
“Nehellenia!”
They swiftly opened the door, and saw Serenity entering a mirror that was not there before.
“USAGI!” they cried.
They ran for her, but before they could grab her, she passed through the glass and the mirror was dark, sending no reflection.
“Out of the way, Mars Flame Sniper!”
“Jupiter Oak Evolution!”
Lightning and fire struck the mirror but it remained undamaged.
“It’s no use!”
Venus stepped forward, “Come on. Let’s combine our powers.”
Using their abilities, they directed it at the mirror and opened a way for them to slip in through.
“Usagi!” They shouted, their voices echoing through the various corridors. They heard nothing back. They split up and went through various corridors, but they continued running into dead ends or being drawn back to the same passages. The place was a big complicated maze, and they soon found themselves right back at the entrance.
“Nehellenia’s making us run in circles,” Jupiter said.
“Wait, the princess’s powers were unlocked. We should focus on that and follow it,” Mercury said.
“Worth a shot,” said Mars.
They closed their eyes and focused. They felt an intense cold in the world they were in. But soon, they felt a warm pull. They opened their eyes and followed the warm light in the distance.
They finally saw their princess in the distance, entering a doorway and the door closed behind her. They rushed forward, but it felt like the door was getting further away. But soon they reached it and pulled it open with such force.
“Usagi,” they shouted as they saw the poor girl collapsed on the ground, in front of a spinning wheel. Eyes shut, not moving. She looked uninjured, except a cut on her finger, her blood on the spindle.
===========
The Earth prince, Endymion, rode through the forest, following the path his love, Usagi, had given him, before she left. He decided that tonight, he would tell her everything. That he was a prince and heir of the planet, and he loved her dearly. And if Usagi could look past his deception, he was going to ask her to marry him. He did not care that he was betrothed to some stranger from another kingdom. He wanted to see his love everyday, in public, no longer as a secret in the forest.
When he had first met her, it had been a day filled with stress caused by his royal obligations. He had needed to get away, so he had disguised himself as a servant, as he had done on more than one occasion, and went into town, exploring the marketplace. It had been there where he met his angel.
He had not wanted her to treat him differently, so he had continued the ruse as a servant, and had continued their meetings in the woods. It had been a wonderful few months, being with her, getting to know her, as a wonderful person, with a beauty to match her soul. He needed her in his life.
He finally reached the cottage, where Usagi had said it would be, and got off his horse. He took a deep breath and knocked, but the door slowly opened, left ajar, revealing to a dark living room, illuminated by only the moonlight.
“Come in,” he heard a voice say. It wasn’t Usagi’s voice, but maybe it was one of her friends….maybe one with a sore throat.
He walked in, and as he moved further into the room, the door slammed closed and he found himself overwhelmed by what looked like small balls of darkness. He fought them off but he felt them draining him of his energy, collapsing to the ground. He tried to access the power of the royal Golden Crystal, but he lost too much energy to be able to use it. He looked up from the ground, too weak to grip his sword, and saw an old grey woman-like creature. She had blue robes and had a staff that had a flaming eyeball at the top.
“This is quite a development. A princess of one kingdom cursed, and a prince of another kingdom a prisoner of the Dead Moon.”
Mamoru remembered hearing stories of the Dead Moon. The very name stirred up dormant and vague memories of a terrifying experience he had as a child, when he visited the Moon Kingdom.
“My queen will love such a prize,” he heard the woman say as his vision went dark.

The Senshi were devastated, their friend in a death-like slumber. By the time they found her, they were out of Nehellenia’s mirror dimension and they were in the tower of the castle. They arrived, in horror, to find Serenity lying on the ground, eyes closed, with a small scratch on her finger. Nehellenia stood before them, cackling as she vanished back into her mirror, as it disappeared. The Senshi knew the curse was fulfilled. They couldn’t leave their princess lying in the tower, so they carried her back to her room. The stairway back down was more direct, now that they were no longer travelling through Nehellenia’s mirror realm. It wasn’t until they were near her room, where they saw the full impact of the curse.
They soon discovered guards and castle staff having collapsed, in a similar deep slumber. They realized the curse was feeding off of Serenity’s power, strengthening itself to spread far and wide, putting the whole kingdom into a deep sleep with their princess. It was by good fortune that, being Senshi, they were able to resist the curse. They knew to end the curse, they needed Serenity’s love, Mamoru. If he loved her as much as she had claimed to love him, he could end the nightmare.
After placing their princess into bed, they took the teleporter back to Earth. They found that Earth was suffering from the curse as well; nobles passed out in the streets, knights fallen off their horses unconscious, peasants slumbering in the fields. The Senshi rushed back to the cottage, in hopes that Serenity’s true love would be there, as she said, and hoped he did not fall victim as well.
They arrived at the cottage and saw the door left open. They cautiously walked in and saw the place was a mess, showing clear signs of a struggle.
“What happened?” Mars said, looking around with worry.
“Hold on,” Mercury said, pulling out her computer and activating her goggles, and began scanning the room. She looked around and was directed to a small dark corner of the blackened room. “Over there,” she pointed.
Jupiter and Venus walked slowly and cautiously to the corner. Suddenly, something jumped out: a small dark black circular creature. It shot past the two Senshi and bounced around before escaping the cottage.
“Was that...” Jupiter began.
“It was a Lemure. One of Nehellenia’s,” Venus finished her sentence, “The Dead Moon Circus. They were here.”
“It looks like there was a fight,” Mars said, “Mamoru must have been attacked by them.”
“But I don’t see a body. So they either killed him, or he escaped.”
“That was just one Lemure. They travel in packs. If they caught him off guard, they could have overwhelmed him.”
“Which begs the question, why not kill him?”
“I don’t know. But if he’s not here, there’s only one place he could be.”
“Nehellenia’s castle.”
“We have no choice. We have to save him.”
===========
Getting to the evil queen’s castle was quite the feat, but together, the four combined their power to teleport into the castle. A trying task, which they wouldn’t be able to do again within the castle walls. The Senshi quietly snuck around the castle, finding a lack of security, only needing to avoid a couple guards.
They soon found themselves overlooking the throne room and found out why the security was so lax. There was a dark, twisted feast occurring in the large room. A celebration of sorts with vile monsters partying.
The Senshi looked disgusted by the event, but Jupiter looked on, “Over there.” She pointed and saw Zirconia, Nehellenia’s most loyal servant observing events. But the hag began to walk away from the room, and the Senshi quietly tailed her. They followed her to the castle dungeons, and they heard screaming, as Zirconia opened one of the cell doors.
“You choose when you want this pain to end, dear prince,” the Senshi heard inside, from a familiar voice.
“Mistress,” they heard Zirconia, “Your desires are almost achieved. The princess is gone, both great kingdoms are cursed, and the crystal is almost within your grasp. If you don’t mind my saying, you’ve had a long, productive day. Perhaps some rest can do some good.”
“Yes, perhaps I am pushing myself. Thank you.”
The Senshi took cover as they heard footsteps leaving the cell. They looked behind and watched, as Nehellenia and Zirconia left the small cell. Zirconia tapped her staff on the ground and the cell door closed behind her. She turned her head towards the Senshi and they ducked behind the corner, unsure if they were seen. They waited for a few moments before looking to see the hag leave the dungeon, behind her mistress.
They quickly moved to the cell, and Jupiter kicked the door open, with full force, breaking it off the locks.
There, they found someone they had not expected
“Prince Endymion,” Venus said. The prince raised his head, staring wide-eyed at his visitors.
“You-you’re the Sailor Senshi,” he answered, questioningly, not quite sure if they were real.
“What are you doing here?” Mars asked, as she, Mercury and Venus approached him and Jupiter stood watch. He was wearing his armor, but they could see burned marks and other injuries on the prince.
“They want the Golden Crystal.” he answered.
“How’d they catch you? Shouldn’t you have been protected?”
“They caught me off guard. One minute, I was going to meet someone at their residence in a woodland cottage, the next thing I know, I am being attacked and found myself in a dungeon.”
“Who were you supposed to meet?”
Endymion suddenly stopped talking, and looked away from them.
“Wait a minute,” Venus said, “Who was it exactly you were planning to see?”
He did not answer, still avoiding her gaze.
“Usagi?” Venus said. He slightly flinched, and she had her answer.
“You,” Venus said, “It is you? You’re Usagi’s Mamoru?”
“How do you know her?” he asked, as the last of his restraints were broken.
The Senshi’s eyes lit up to this revelation.
“We need to hurry, but there is something you must know, prince” Mars said, “We need to tell you the truth about your maiden.”
===========
Endymion could not believe it. The very news just sent shocks throughout his body. Usagi, the peasant girl he had met so many times in the woods, was the lost Princess Serenity, his betrothed. And was trapped in a horrible curse.
“You love Usagi, right?” Venus asked.
“Yes,” he said, quickly, without hesitation.
“Then there is hope. True love can break the curse. You can save her.”
“We need to go,” Jupiter said to the group.
Endymion closed his eyes, and used the power of the Golden Crystal to summon his damaged armor to repair and called on his sword to appear in his hand. The group of five made their way out of the cell, and proceeded out of the dungeon, when they heard a commotion. Noises of monsters getting closer to them, forcing them to run faster down to the corridor.
They travelled down the passage ways, until they made it to the courtyard. However, the yard was now filled with monsters, with Zirconia standing at the forefront.
“Senshi,” Zirconia said, “I have to say, it is a surprise to see you up and about. But I am afraid this is as far as you go. Our guest still needs to surrender the crystal.”
The five fighters stood back to back, surrounded by the forces of the Dead Moon.
“Kill them,” Zirconia commanded.
The creatures rushed forward, attacking. The fight expanded around the courtyard. At first, the group stayed together, but soon were forced to split off and fight the monsters with their powers. Mars used her fire attacks as she thinned the number of her attackers. Mercury used her water, sweeping away her foes, freezing them, and even misting the air to blind them. Jupiter used her lightning, taking out many foes caught in the lightning chains. Venus blasted her foes with raining light beams from the sky. And Endymion used a combination, blasting his enemies with his powers and swiping his sword at those who got too close.
The battle went well, until Endymion was blasted from a dark power, coming from the sky. He fell, and soon Zirconia was right in front of him, with Zircon on her staff.
Zircon flew from the staff, floating over the group, as Zircon levitated. A cone of shadow was released from the eye, and the group collapsed from it, as if being weighed down. As they were pinned, Zirconia unleashed powerful blasts, each hitting one of the Senshi.
Zircon returned to the staff as Zirconia laughed.
But Endymion defiantly stood up, and he felt the energy of the Golden Crystal flow through him. He pointed his palm at the hag and a shot of golden energy was released at her. She screeched as she tried to endure the attack. The Senshi stood, regaining their composure. They focused on pooling their power together. Endymion could hold his attack no longer and he had to stop, with Zirconia exhausted but still alive.
However, she looked at the Senshi. Eyes widened, knowing her fate.
“Sailor Planet Attack!”
Together, the Senshi used their power, striking Zirconia, and she and Zircon dissolved into ashes.
With their foe destroyed, the group made their way out of the castle walls.
===========
They made their way to the Golden Kingdom’s castle. All they had to do was get Endymion to the teleporter, to the Moon Kingdom, and he could free Serenity from the curse.
However, as they got closer, suddenly the road was bombarded by strikes of dark lightning.
They turned around and saw a figure from a distance, standing at the tower of the dark castle: Nehellenia.
She extended her hand again and from the tips of her fingers unleashed a chain of black lightning. The group scattered, dodging the attack.
Knowing how close they were to the castle, they made a run to the fortress. Lightning from the sky continued to crash down as they swayed back and forth from it.
With the castle in sight, the Senshi led Endymion, but they tripped. Looking down, the warriors found they had stepped in a field of webs. They looked ahead and saw the whole castle and the surrounding area encased in webbing.
The Senshi struggled to no avail. However, Endymion was fortunate to avoid the trap. He took out his sword, and channeling the power of the Golden Crystal, swiped the webbing, freeing the Senshi. They moved forward as he continued swiping at the threads. He was close, reaching the gates, but suddenly, in front of the gates stood a mirror, with no reflection but a dark void.
“You will not stop me, dear prince,” a voice said.
He saw before them Queen Nehellenia in the mirror as the object began to levitate. It ascended higher, and soon the queen’s silhouette formed around the mirror. As it reached high, it had vanished within the chest of the gigantic queen.
The Senshi and Endymion prepared for the last push to save their princess.
===========
Meanwhile, in the Moon Kingdom, the princess remained in slumber. Yet somehow, she felt something troubling her soul. That her loved ones were in grave danger. Not knowing how, she knew she needed to help and reached out to them. Her body began to glow and a bright beam of light was released from her body, heading to Earth.
===========
Endymion and the Senshi were now on the ground, Injured, failing to defeat the giant as she continued bombarding the field with lightning. She raised her hand, as it glowed with dark power.
Suddenly, a bright light from the moon created a shield around the group, and Nehellenia’s power failed to penetrate it.
“Usako,” Endymion said, knowing, somehow, that it was her power that saved them. He felt renewed strength as he stood, along with the Senshi.
“Let’s end this,” Venus said. The Senshi charged at the queen and used their powers, causing her to flinch and push backward.
Endymion picked up his sword, and saw it begin to glow with Serenity’s power. He focused his own power within it and it shined brightly. He charged at Nehellenia and threw the blade, embedding the blade into her chest.
She screamed, as an echoing, cracking, sound was heard. The Senshi stopped their attack, as the queen looked at the sword, not embedded in her chest, but in the mirror now floating outside her form, as more fractures began appearing. The whole mirror shattered into dust, and the queen screeched, as she, too, dissolved into the darkness. With all traces of her gone, the only thing left behind was the glowing sword, as it lost its shine.
Endymion exhaled, finally taking a rest, but suddenly, Mars and Jupiter helped him to his legs.
“Don’t rest now, prince,” Mars said, smiling, “You only have a little further to go. Someone needs to wake up our lazy princess.”
They let Endymion go, as he was able to balance himself on his feet, and led them to the planetary teleporter. Soon he was on the Moon, and the Senshi led him to the princess’s room.
And there he saw her, now in her princess gown, but his Usako, no doubt. He approached her bed and she looked so peaceful. He cupped her cheek and leaned in, placing his lips softly on her’s. He drew his head back and looked at her as she slowly opened her eyes.
Serenity’s eyes took a moment to adjust. Her vision was blurry, but soon her vision cleared and she was staring into those midnight blue eyes, of the man she loved.
“Mamo-chan,” she whispered.
He cupped her cheek, lovingly, “Usako.”
The two kissed deeply, and just as they separated, the Senshi burst into the room.
“Usagi,” they shouted. Endymion backed away as the four jumped onto the big bed, where each of the Senshi got a chance to give Serenity a big hug, as they all laughed, playfully.
Moments after Serenity awoke, the curse that had spread across both kingdoms had lifted and everyone slowly woke from their slumber. The Senshi were very quick to inform the royal parents of the events and the celebration was put back on track within hours.
Princess Serenity and Prince Endymion entered the grand room, arms linked, and the moment they were standing before the royals, Queen Serenity quickly got up from her throne and embraced her daughter, not having held her since she gave her to her guardians sixteen years ago.
The prince and princess were wedded, and they began the celebration by sharing their first dance.
“It’s funny,” the prince whispered.
“What is,” she asked her now husband.
“Yesterday, I was prepared to give up everything, to marry some beautiful peasant girl I met in the market.”
“What a coincidence. When I heard I was betrothed to a prince, I did not know how I could ever be happy with him, after courting a handsome stranger.”
They looked at each other, and smiled, sharing another kiss.
And They Lived Happily Ever After

Oh no, the pre-timeskip Blue Lions seeing post-timeskip Dimitri and just not recognizing him at first. They think this fearsome broken man is an enemy and get ready to attack. Only for Felix and Dedue to freeze in place, because that eye is cold and lifeless but oh so familiar. Slowly the group see their kind beloved leader in this man and they’re so confused and heartbroken. Also Dimitri seeing his younger friends and breaking down, from what though the others are too scared to ask.
cracks knuckles. This ain’t a headcanon request but HOO BOY this made me feel Feelings, so I’m just… I HAVE to do something with this… My hand was forced by this potential…
Pre-timeskip Dimitri isn’t with the Blue Lions when they encounter post-timeskip Dimitri. He’s back at the monastery, caught up in discussions with the other house lords, so the Lions encounter the timeskip version alone.
The Lions first see older Dimitri from across the field. The figure’s too far away to make out the face of, but he seems to be advancing, and fast, so they get into position.
It’s only when they get up close - when Dedue clashes lances with him - that they realise how similar he looks to their beloved leader…
…but how broken, too.
One blank, unseeing eye, with a sinister eyepatch covering the other one (if there is one to speak of), scars littering his face, deep-set dark circles, a tortured, anguished expression…
It couldn’t be, could it?
Before any of the crew can react, though, Felix yells first, rageful in a way they’ve never heard before:
“Who the hell are you? Answer me!!”
Dimitri’s head snaps up. He sees Felix, sees the rest of the Blue Lions flabbergasted, young, alive-
sees Dedue at the end of his lance, reaching a hand out to him-
and bolts.
The Lions don’t chase after him. They’re too shellshocked to do so.
Was that… was that really…?
They return to the monastery in silence.
The other house members can’t get anything out of them; they all refuse to talk, playing it off instead as a tiring field study that left them exhausted.
(They’re exhausted, all right.)
Felix gets unbearably snappish for the rest of the day. He shoves past everyone, ignoring yells of protest, and makes his way for the training room, where he slices up dummies with the ferocity he usually reserves for the worst of enemies. No one goes after him.
Annette retires to her room immediately. She doesn’t speak to anyone, and spends the night tossing and turning in bed.
Ashe spends the night in the library, pretending to read, but really just staring at the same paragraph for hours without taking anything in.
Sylvain’s noticeably solemn during dinner. Caspar gets concerned when he makes a jab at him and only gets a half-hearted response, but quietens when he realises that he can’t pinpoint exactly what’s bugging his friend, and that said friend looks too tired to even engage with him.
Dedue and Ingrid quietly discuss what they saw when they get back to the common room, and Mercedes joins them soon after when she’s done comforting Annette.
Who was that man?
Obviously, it was their leader, but how did he become like that? What happened to his eye? Why did he look so broken? Did they all conjure up the same hallucination?
Could their Dimitri ever become like that?
Regardless of what conclusion the Lions arrive it, rest assured that they’re all hyper-aware of Dimitri and his health, both mental and physical, for a long time afterwards.
Dimitri meets them the next day:
“Good morning, everyone. How was your excursion- oof!”
Out of nowhere, Ashe has nearly bowled him over with the force of his hug, Ingrid’s thrusting a mug of hot chocolate into his hands, and Annette is crying.
It’s safe to say that Dimitri is so, so confused. And worried.
“Hey, what’s going on? What happened out there?”
They refuse to tell him - which frustrates him endlessly, but he won’t pry, since none of them seem hurt - but they also refuse to leave him alone??
Felix drags him to bed by 9pm at the latest. Even when Dimitri tries to argue (9pm?? Who sleeps at 9pm?? He has so much work to do!!), Felix just rolls his eyes and barks out an insult, before gently pushing him into the bedroom, with a warning of “You had better sleep properly, you idiot, or else I’ll kick your ass twice as hard tomorrow.”
Dimitri’s just in his bed like ‘:( ??? What’s going on???”)
Ingrid makes him so much hot chocolate that he thinks he’s going to get tooth decay.
Mercedes starts seriously inquiring about the state of his mental health (it’s fine, though??? He feels fine??? He’s only a bit stressed, but that’s normal???).
Dedue reminds him to take constant breaks from his studies - even when they’re not that taxing!
Sylvain starts constantly telling him, everywhere, how much they all appreciate him. Constantly. (The affirmation is nice, but did he have to shout it to the whole academy in the dining hall?)
Annette and Ashe both team up to tell him funny stories and jokes before he goes to bed. The jokes are all horrible, especially the knock-knock ones, but they must work, because Dimitri goes to sleep nowadays feeling noticeably happier than he did while stressed before.
He doesn’t get why his housemates are suddenly mothering him, but… the love and care feels kind of nice, actually.
(As long as they don’t go too far… It’s not like he’s in need of too much attention, is he?)
Unbeknownst to Dimitri, the Blue Lions decided ages ago that… the Dimitri they saw in that field? Whoever it was… they never want to see him again.
And they’ll do anything to make sure that happens.

Tumblr media
Silence. That’s all there was. The drive over to the Avengers compound had a tense unspoken bearer between you and Bucky. The last few years rushing back to you in a matter of minutes, well expect the last three years. You were missing three whole years of your life. Your heart was beating wildly in your chest. You were going somewhere you couldn’t even remember with people you didn’t remember. Your mouth suddenly felt dry as your hands began to get clammy.
There will be an awkward air once you enter the compound. But as soon as your foot entered that building, you were completely wrong. Hugs and shouting were surrounding you. Tony came up to you first ruffling your hair around on your head. “Tony!” You swat your hands in the space between you two.
“That’s Y/N alright.” The Burnett to your left side said. There was a smug tone in her words and she held a beautiful smile. Her accent. Oh wow. You turned towards her holding out your hand. “Hello. I don’t believe I know you.” The girl’s smile fell. The simple action has made your own smile fall.
“Oh.” The room seemed to still for a brief moment. You reached forward and gently grabbed her hand. “I’m sorry, I can’t remember you. I promise I will try my hardest though.” The smile you gave her was bright. The wondrous smile reappeared. “I’m Wanda.” From the corner of your eye you could see Natasha with a smug smile and a raised eyebrow. You ended your exchange with Wanda.
You walked up to Natasha and punched her shoulder. “What have you been up to dummy?” Natasha laughed pushing you back. “Waiting for your slow ass to recover.” You roll your eyes looking over to Vision. You take a long hard stare at him and you can tell he becomes uncomfortable. “So what’s the deal with you?” He mutters something along the lines of you always being so straight forward.
The sun setting over your unpacked bedroom. You know this is your bedroom, it just doesn’t feel like it’s yours. It’s spacious, and has tan walls. There is a wall by your bathroom door covered in plants. That makes it feel more homey. They don’t look like they have been without care for several months. Someone must have being taking care of them. I make a mental note to find out who and thank them. A soft knock came from the other side of your new bedroom door breaking you from your thoughts. As you turned to face the door, Steve popped his head through. You raised an eyebrow at him and he gave you a confused look in return.
“How is it someone so large could knock so delicately?” The smug smile on your lips made Steve roll his eyes. He walked in, and carefully closing the door behind him. You plopped yourself onto your queen sized bed. Steve leaned against the wooden bed frame. “How are you holding up?” You locked eyes with him for a moment, before looking down at your fingers. “Honestly?” He let out a little chuckle. “Yes, Y/N.” You felt like you wanted to morph with your bed to become one. “Everything hurts.” Steve stilled for a moment before sitting beside you. He slowly rests an arm around your shoulders, and you fall into his much larger body.
“There are people here who care for me so deeply. I can’t even remember them. I remember most of my life, but it feels like I’m watching from the side lines. They feel so distant. Yet, I know they’re mine.” You snuffle, hoping that Steve doesn’t notice. You hate crying, but it was something you did often. You didn’t want him to know that though. He forces you to look at him. “It’s alright. No one is blaming you. They understand. We understand.” He lets the room in silence for a beat, before a smug smile appears on his face. “But luckily you remember your best friend, who is absolutely wonderful.” You stare at him and he winks at you. You push him off your bed. “Stupid.” You are laughing as he rubs his head.
You both walk to the kitchen together arguing back and forth about something meaningless. You stop in your tracks. There sitting at the island was Bucky shirtless. Sweaty as well. You had grown to close to Bucky in the last few months, but now everything felt so different. You only had half of your memories back. Yet, none of them included Bucky. Which made you sad. Ever since you met him, or maybe you should say met again? Either way, you were drawn to him. He was an incredibly impeccable human that’s for sure. He treated you like you were just a fragile baby, and that was something you were never used to. No one, not even your own mother had treated you that way. They all knew how powerful you were, and no one had ever doubted the fact that you could take care of yourself.
It was different with Bucky though. You liked it. It made you feel more feminine. Not that you would ever admit to anyone else that you liked that. You were always one to get embarrassed if you were caught trying to make your make-up look perfect or fawning over a pair of pink heels. You liked to keep your feminine side to yourself. People can see it as weakness and pray on your vulnerabilities. You were always strong, and everyone knew it. Doing anything to make anyone think differently made you uncomfortable.
Steve was already ruffling through the fridge, stopping to give you a weird look. You were always one to get wrapped up in your thoughts. Just then Bucky turned around and started to walk over to the sink. He was built like a god. The abs on this man were unbelievable. His hair was in a low hung bun, as your eyes trailed down his body you realized his sweat pants were just barely hanging onto his hips. His v line very prominent. You feel like you could drool just from the sight alone.
“Uh, Y/N?” Bucky said in his low gravely voice. It sent shivers down your spine that’s for sure. You saw Bucky giving you a curious look, while Steve was standing behind Bucky with a smirk and gave you a wink. Once you realized what was happening you could feel your cheeks turn pink. “Geez, it’s like all you ever are is in my way Barnes.” You laughed slightly, pushing him to the side.
Bucky rolled his eyes and with a smile walked out of the room. Once he left you punched Steve in the chest. “What the hell man!” Steve only laughed. Damn, even with no memories of him she’s starting at him like a meal. Steve thinks laughing even harder at his thoughts. “I think there might be some drool right there.” Steve says, pointing at the corner of his lips.
“Steve!” Your voice was harsher this time. Steve held his hands up in surrender. “Whoa, whoa. I didn’t embarrass you. You did that all on your own.” You rolled your eyes and groaned at his statement. He was so right. You didn’t mean to though. Bucky just took you by surprise. A sudden thought breaks me of my embarrassment. “Hey, was anyone watering my plants while I have been gone?” Steve seems a bit confused at my sudden change in attitude. “Uh, Wanda wanted to make sure they were still alive whe-”
“Thanks, Steve!” I cut him off as I’m running down the hallway. I stop once I get in the elevator. I almost hit my forehead at my stupidity. I have no idea where I am going. “Hey, Jarvis?” I wait a few seconds before a female voice pops up. “I am sorry Miss Y/L/N, Jarvis hasn’t been with us for a few years. I am Friday.” A long whisper of a ooooohhhh. “Um...Friday?” She pops up again, “Yes, Miss Y/L/N?” “Where is Wanda’s room?” I wait with my fingers hovering over the elevator buttons. “Level two, room with the black door.”
Acting quickly I push the level two button. Once the door opens I teleported outside the black bedroom door. I softly knocked on the door. “Hello, Wanda?” The door slightly opened under my touch, so I figured it was a good to go. “Wanda?” Walking around the wall separating her bed from the door. There she was with her beautiful light skin shining in the sunlight. Her bare back facing me. Her back curved perfectly then her ass plumped out. Her jeans hugged her so well. Her long brown hair up in a bun. She must have just gotten out of the shower. Wanda quickly turned around covering her top half with a small t-shirt.
Her face was bright red. You took a few steps forward with your face burning red as well. “Y/N!” She whisper shouts. You stumble backwards knocking into the wall. “I uh the door was...and I just wanted...” You tired to say a sentence, but yet could not form a full sentence. You couldn’t help but let your eyes wander her body. She was beautiful. She lifted her hand and used her powers to push you out the door, and slam it shut. “Fuck.” You fell on your ass. You opened your eyes and there was Bucky leaning over you. His cheeks red as well. “That was an interesting encounter.” He chuckles. Your eyes go wide. His eyes are locked with yours, but you are too embarrassed to return the stare.
You let your eyes wander everywhere but his own. You did not think your face could get anymore red, until your eyes landed on the large bulge in Bucky’s pants. I scramble up to your feet, and start walking down the hall. “Y/N.” You face Bucky once more. “I..got to go.” You teleport back to your bedroom. The look on his face was such a mix of emotions. This day was too much to handle. You cuddle up under the blankets on your bed. “Time for bed now.”

Revue Starlight Supernatural AU: Blood Donors (part 2)
Tendo Maya was terrified. Life had been so good lately that she just knew the other shoe was about to drop. And it was going to be all her fault. For there was something dangling like the sword of Damocles over the most precious thing in Maya’s life.
Her beautiful, defiant Claudine had finally blessed her by letting Maya love her. These last few months with her partner fully and willingly by her side have been blissful, more than Maya could have ever hoped for and yet…
She wanted more.
That was the awful, selfish truth. She was such a wretched creature that she couldn’t just enjoy the moments Claudine was wrapped up in her arms without wanting to consume her completely.
She wanted to taste the sweet lifeblood running though those veins. Claudine was so full of fire, it shone in her eyes whenever she challenged Maya, whenever she stood up to try again and again, even if she knew she was going to lose. Maya would bet everything she owned that Claudine’s blood was as powerful as the blonde’s resolve to reach the top. Maya wanted it so badly.
But there was no way she was worthy of such a precious gift.
There was no way Claudine would share her lifeforce with Maya, especially if she realized how selfish her girlfriend really was. If she knew the depths of Maya’s hunger for her, the wolf would run away as fast as she could. Because Maya longed for a lot of things. Not only for Kuro’s blood, but for the chance of taking care of her while she recovered from the blood loss. For having the especial kind of bond that formed between vampire and donor. For being able to tell the world (and every other vampire) that this wonderful creature was hers and she was going to protect and cherish her til her dying breath.
But it will all remain as a secret wish, because Maya was terrified of Claudine’s possible rejection. She was too much of a coward to ask for something so sacred.
At least, it will remain secret for a while. Maya knew it was going to come out sooner or later and then this perfect little bubble she’s been living in with her beloved would implode in her face.
So when an absolutely livid Kaoruko clad only in a bathrobe stormed into Maya’s room, the brunette felt her stomach sinking. She already knew where this was going.
“Tendou-han, I will have a few words with you. There are a lot of things I want to say, but the first is: what the fuck do you think you’re doing?”
Maya tried to play dumb. There was a small chance this was about something else after all.
Wrong. It was exactly what she thought it was about. Time to change tactics. She told Kaoruko it was none of her bussiness, giving her a serious look. Her fellow vampire did respect her after all, maybe even saw her as a bit of a mentor. Hopefully that would be enough to get her to back off.
“Oh yeah? Then why did I have to teach Kuro-han about sharing blood? And why is my fiancée holding her while she cries right now?”
If Maya thought her stomach was sinking earlier, it was now somewhere in the underworld. Making Claudine cry in pain was the last thing she wanted.
She could feel her neutral mask cracking as the guilt hit her. Claudine was the one person who really got to her enough to make her lose her cool when there where witnesses around. Kaoruko saw her weakness and pounced, relentlessly pushing until the ugly truth fell from Maya’s lips.
Soon, all her insecurities came rushing out. Kaoruko’s anger started fading the more she heard Maya talk. By the time Maya’s voice was scratchy from overuse and tears where running down her cheeks, Kaoruko was holding her and caressing her hair.
“You dummy, Kuro-han feels she is the one who’s not good enough for you. There’s nothing to be afraid of”
Kaoruko went on to explain what had happened in the bathroom in detail, and tried to convince Maya just to talk about it with Claudine. Maya’s resolve to keep her feelings hidden started to crumble. Maybe she should talk to her wolf, the damage was already done anyways.
By the time Kaoruko was satisfied enough with her efforts to make Maya stop being an idiot (her words), it was already late enough for everyone else to be in bed.
Maya reluctantly made her way to Kuro’s room. She didn’t know what to expect.
She certainly didn’t expect the door to be locked.
Claudine never locked her door. Ever since Maya started her nightly visits, she could just walk into the blonde’s room.
She fled back to her room. She was not ashamed to admit she cried herself to sleep. It seems she has her answer, and it was exactly what she thought it would be.
The next two days were excruciating, for everyone. All the girls could tell something was wrong, and they were walking on eggshells around the pair. Kaoruko and Futaba tried to help, but they couldn’t hope to match their stubbornness.
The worst part, in Maya’s opinion, was the way Claudine seemed so… subdued. All the fight seemed to have gone out of her. She could barely meet Maya’s eyes, even when they were practicing. Needless to say, rehearsals had been hell.
It happened during the third day.
Someone from class B screwed up and a fairly heavy prop went flying at Maya’s head. She was too busy staring wistfully at her girlfriend (was she still her girlfriend?) to actually use her superior reflexes to dodge like any sensible person would.
Next thing she knows, she’s on the ground with Claudine kneeling next to her. The blonde was talking a mile a minute, looking terrified. Maya wished she could understand her, but her ears are ringing and she could feel a warm, sticky fluid running down her temple.
Finally, the ringing went down enough for her to hear all the girls talking over each other. Some asking if she was alright, others about taking her to the nurse, some even thinking of calling an ambulance. Someone (most likely another vampire) said that she should drink blood immediately to help her body deal with the damage. Everyone agreed it was a good idea, but there was a tiny problem. Namely, no one had any blood bags at hand.
“Take mine”
Maya must be hallucinating, there was no way she heard those words come out of Claudine’s lips. Then the girl threw her thick hair over one shoulder, exposing the other to the brunette’s gaze. Kuro slowly moved closer, determination shining in her eyes. Right until Maya sat up and took her arm in a vice grip to halt her in her tracks.
“No”
Kuro visibly took it the wrong way. She scowled, and practically growled the next words.
“Don’t be stupid, you need it!”
“I said no”
Despite her best efforts to stay angry, Kuro felt herself tearing up. Was Maya really so repulsed by her that she would refuse her even in a emergency?
“Listen, I… I know you don’t… You don’t want me like that. I know I’m not good enough to be your donor… But please, just this once, just take it”
Kuro closed her eyes, trying not to cry in front of everyone, only to snap then back open when she felt a hand lovingly cupping her face. What she saw left her breathless: Her vampire, with the softest look in her eyes, not even attempting to hide the fondness that was clear in her eyes and her voice as she spoke and absolutely destroyed her.
“My Claudine… You are so precious to me, and you deserve so much better than this” Maya brought her forehead against Kuro’s, staring deeply into widening crimson eyes, willing the blonde to feel her sincerity. Her voice took on that low, smooth tone that her girlfriend not-so-secretly loved as she murmured the next words against Claudine’s lips, “When I take your blood for the first time, it will be on a soft bed, surrounded by candlelight as I hold you in my arms all night long, with only the moon as our witness.”
Several people gasped, but Maya was too focused on Claudine (and probably concussed) to care. Claudine’s face was going through every shade of red as she sputtered and babbled in French, completely flustered, and it was too adorable to miss.
Sadly, the head wound caught up to her. Her vision was going black around the edges, so she closed her eyes and rested her head against Kuro’s shoulder. Maybe if she took a short nap…
After being discharged from the hospital, Maya spent the night In Kuro’s room, cuddling and finally talking about their feelings. Claudine seemed more flustered than usual since Maya regained consciousness, but the vampire dismissed it. Her girlfriend had never been the best at handling feelings.
What Maya didn’t know and Claudine refused to tell her is that, in werewolf culture, making romantic declarations or gestures and proclaiming the moon as a witness was basically proposing. To make matters worse, many wolves from both classes had been present for it, so now the entire school was on fire with gossip about the two top students. And the absolute worst: Kaoruko was fully aware of the meaning of Maya’s words, and Kuro could feel her smirking even when that cursed vampire wasn’t in the room.
What neither of them knew was that Nana was already planning their future mating ceremony. She was secretly conspiring with Kuro’s mother as well. Banana and Mrs. Saijo knew that both Kuro and Maya were career-oriented people, so they probably wouldn’t be mated until they were in their late twenties, but it never hurt to be prepared.
A week later, everyone stared as a dopey Maya stuck to Kuro like glue, playing the part of the perfect gentleman and spoiling her girlfriend in any way she could. Even the teachers surrendered to their fate and let her stay by Kuro’s side all day long, even in class. The poor blonde wolf spent the day blushing to the roots of her hair under everyone’s knowing glances.
When they arrived home, Kuro cursed the fact that Futaba’s bike let Kaoruko arrive first, as the little menace had put up banners proclaiming ‘Congrats on getting your fangs wet!’ all over the common room.
Junna and Claudine screamed.
Karen asked what that meant.
Mahiru choked.
Futaba and Hikari looked resigned.
Maya kept grinning dazedly.
And Banana took pictures.
It was wild.
~~~♡~~~
Author Notes: Curly strikes again, and is yet again sleep deprived so this is probably full of mistakes but I’m too tired to keep spellchecking, just take this offering as it is.
I almost split this in two, but I thought the cliffhanger of Maya finding out Kuro locked her door was too cruel, so it ended up being long af (hell, if you think this is ranting, you aren’t prepared for the Nanoha AU. That’s shaping up to be a whole testament. It’s coming. Maybe I’ll drop some tiny bits first).
I tried to make the declaration as over-the-top and dramatic as possible, because Kuromaya are just that Extra and gay. I wanted to title it ‘Blood donors and accidental marriage proposals’ but that would have given the surprise away.
Now we have a bit more of werewolf culture yay!
I appreciate feedback, opinions, other hc, etc. Everything gives me more ideas.
I’m about to die, see ya gays later.
