Animal welfare in animal agriculture will always be limited by what is profitable and what is legal. Animal welfare laws still allow animals to be maimed and killed in the name of industry, it just limits excessive abuse. Animal rights surpasses animal welfare by making it about them instead of us. If you care at all about the well-being of animals, you should support animal rights.

Zoodles and masala cheese sauce! ½ cup unhulled tahini, ½ cup nutritional yeast, whisked up with equal parts vinegar and water until it is as smooth as you like. Add a ton of garam masala powder and (if you’re me) some hot pepper 🌶 seeds and enjoy! 😋 nom nom (at Ramla city مدينة الرملة)

Made the best crumble last night you guys omg. Pear and guava base, top = mix of ½ cup flour, ¼ cup brown sugar, ¼ cup coconut oil, roughly ¼ to ⅓ cup oats, vanilla extract to taste, and cinnamon powder to taste. Bake at 200 degrees Celsius for 35 to 40 minutes. Pro tip: Add the goji berries (soaked in water first) to the top in the last five minutes of baking, otherwise they will burn! Variation: Yum with chopped nuts added to base and/or top as well 👍

Nom nom nom cashew cheese sauce recipe here as promised! Please make a variation at home! Tag me in your photo of your cheesy creation for a feature here 😋 . -1 cup cashews, soaked in water overnight and drained -¼ to ⅓ cup nutritional yeast (the yellow flaky stuff, *not* brewer’s yeast!) -⅛ to ¼ cup tahini Blend with 1 part kombucha vinegar or apple cider vinegar to 1 part water, little bits at a time, enough to reach the thickness you want your sauce to be -garlic and paprika, to taste Blend and enjoy! Can eat right away, but I find it is better after sitting in fridge in tightly sealed container for 2 days or so. Will keep for close to a week before starting to taste a bit funny. Great in veggies, pasta, burgers, and more :) Enjoy!
