Timeline: Post Leo coming out as Transfem + meeting April and Casey + Splinter's infamous 'carry out the mission no matter what/who you must sacrifice to do so', pre Splinter's death + Karai being added (back) into the family,

Scene: The gang is about to head out for a big mission

Splinter pulls Leah aside, hand on her shoulder before he moves his hand to cup her cheek and tells her "I have already lost one daughter. Do not make me lose another."

She looks into her father's eyes, startled for a few seconds before she nods, resolve and a small smile on her face. "Hai, Sensei." Then she's off, joining her brothers and friends at the turnstiles before they leap over them and head into the subway tunnel and out of Splinter's line of sight.

The next morning, they return, injured but all alive and accounted for. Leah is the last one to arrive, walking at the back of the group with Mikey, who was holding his arm - it must be broken. She leads him into the medbay, where everyone else has already filed into, but before she can follow her brother inside, Sensei stops her with a hand on her shoulder. A hand cupping her cheek. Her fathers arms sweeping her into a hug, mindful of her many scrapes and bruises but no less full of love and relief. "Thank you," he says, "for coming back to me alive."

"Of course, Father." She returns the hug as best she can. "I love you too much not to."

I have had to make peace with the fact that Red, White and Royal Blue is fundamentally American Brand Hopium and therefore white liberal shit (I think that's like a prerequisite for being one of my hyperfixations. They all live in the space between trashy glamour and an irritated moral consicence, never giving me a moment's peace). But one thing Casey Mcquiston did right (apart from letting the Jewish girl and MoC dunk on T-Swift*) was making Henry walk away from the Crown in the coda. The amount of fanfiction that centers on making him and Alex have a Westminster wedding and being granted dukedoms is fucking me up. Like, it's not just one or two, it's nearly every single fic written well enough to be readable.

In the USAmerican liberal mind, having a brown man of colonized origins ascend to Royal White Gay status is somehow progressive, rather than making him also complicit in an institution that is the literal symbol of white supremacy, colonial genocide, pillaged wealth and systemic inequality. Mcquiston, for all their faults, at least recognised that the wealth of empire is a blood-soaked thing, and to partake of it makes you complicit in its sins. Literally that's one of the first things that sets Henry apart from his family, and gets Alex's attention. The fandom otoh, hasn't gotten the memo. Or maybe not having to live the reality of colonial violence and trauma gives them the privilege of escaping the moral implications of British royalty. I know that the US's Overton window is fucked beyond all hope, but what passes for the leftist solidarity among white queers is a tragedy. No wonder every Black person or PoC over there is fucked up in some way.

As you can see with Meghan Markle, bringing BIPOC into violently oppressive, white supremacist institutions isn't a win for their communities, it's feeding them alive into maw of the beast for liberal tokenism. The virulent racism is a fucking foundational feature, not a bug. I'm not faulting her for marrying the man she loved, and they don't deserve any of the horrible shit the RF has been putting them through, but in a purely political context, her joining the RF was a betrayal of her fellow colonized. And the fact that they refuse to relinquish their titles, even after everything, tells us that they're still not in solidarity with everyone else this parasitic, anti-democratic relic institution has fucked over. But apparently that's peak fantasy for USAmerican and white queers.

This is why I don't fuck with fandom outside of AO3 anymore. It's always the same. Whites and the West just don't have any actual leftist values, or if they do, they're purely cosmetic. It's nothing to do with your generational cohort bullshit, y'all are just as fucking racist and white privileged as your parents.

*substracting every single point for having Alex crush on Justin Trudeau immediately beforehand though. Trudeau's blackface scandal and allegations of misogynistic and racist harrassment way predated 2019, when the book would have been in edits. Also minus fucking points for making Alex idolise Obama, and Scalia's BFF Ruth Bader Ginsburg. I wonder whether white libs know that this white woman refused to retire during the Obama administration, making the current Handmaiden's Tale state of affairs directly her fault. Also the fact that Thurgood Marshall and also the heroes of the Chicano Civil Rights movement were right the fuck there. And stop fucking blaming your education system because the rest of us learned about US history on our own, because y'all's global cultural hegemony penalizes us for not knowing this shit.

A/N: I hope this was okay.

You ever have those “let me take this all in" moments? Because that is what Y/n is having right now.

On the red carpet of the Oscars, that’s right OSCARS, as she was nominated for Best Lead Actress. Y/n is a force to be wrecked with right now in the acting world at only 15. Her debut was the role of Casey Graham in Winter Soldier at 10, and she just wrapped Filming Endgame. But she has taken on other projects, and one of the landed her this nomination.

She starred in the Film “Living a Sin” a story about a teen finding out their sexual identity and the effect it has on her Christian Family. The film was a hit, and the reviews were always on top. She won the Golden Globe but it was when she saw she was nominated for the Oscar that the success really hit her.

Which is where she is now, in a stunning custom pantsuit from Valentino in y/f/c and y/h/c in classic long curls. She was later joined by the cast and her love interest in the film, played by Jenna Ortega. After taking pictures, she was on her way into the theater before she bumped into something hard. “Oops my b-“ she started to say before looking at a blue suit that had blue eyes.

“Seb!” Y/n acclaimed before giving him a hug. “y/n! You look beautiful, how are you feeling?” He asked. “Freaking out but not if that makes sense. I’m unlikely to win, heck I’m nominated against Meryl Streep.” Seb laughed and wrapped an arm around you. “Don’t sweat it, sweetheart. Plus Scarlett and I may or may not be presenting your category," he said. "No way! really?" you asked as you looked at him with joy in your eyes.

"Yep, now let's take a quick picture before I have to head inside. But I will see you later., I promise." he said as he turned so the two of you faced the paparazzi. In the MCU, Bucky and Casey were very much a father-daughter duo. And that relationship continued into a brotherly sisterly relationship off-screen. He has been a rock for you the past couple of years and you are thankful to have your "Bucky-Bear" by your side through it all. He gave you a quick kiss on the forehead which of course the cameras caught before you each headed your separate ways.

Couple Hours later

You saw Sebastian and Scarlett walk on stage and your heart started to beat a million miles a minute. Jenna sat next to you and quickly took your hand in hers. "Deep Breathes, you got this," she said as she gave you a light squeeze.

"This year's nominees each deliver incredible performances in their own right. Moving us to tears, making us laugh, and telling stories of bravery and love." Scarlett said looking at the teleprompter. "And this year nominees are making history, with the youngest nominee for Best Actress," Seb said as you saw your two friends give you a wave, which made the audience laugh. "Our child is adorable, isn't she?" Scarlett said into the mic. "Agreed, but we have to finish this up so we can put her to bed," Seb said as he pointed to the watch in his hand. the audience and you were enjoying it. You couldn't tell if it was a bit or if they were making you laugh to calm your nerves. Either way, you appreciate it.

After they showed a montage of all the actresses nominated and clips of the film. You saw Seb start to open the envelope. you held onto Jenna's hand with your life. "And the Oscar goes to.." Seb said as he lifted the envelope. He and Scarlett looked at the envelope and smiled at each other before speaking into the microphone. "Y/n L/n for Living with Sin!" They said with the biggest smiles on their faces.

You were in shock at first. there is no way they actually just said your name. It wasn't until Jenna gave you a huge hug that it began to sink in. You quickly stood up as you felt a tear fall down your smiling face. You hugged your parents quickly before making your way to the stage. Once you walked up the stairs, Seb and Scarlett were quick to engulf you with a hug. You heard Seb whisper into your ear "I'm so proud of you Kiddo." he said as he gave you a kiss on the cheek. "We both are," Scarlett said as well as she handed you the statue. "I love you both so much. Couldn't have wanted anyone else to give this to me," you said to them as you made your way to the mic.

Your speech was short and sweet, thanking your family and friends, manager, cast, and crew of Living with Sin, and thanking your 'Big Bros and Sisters' who are your marvel castmates for showing you the ropes and being incredible mentors. And of course, thanking Kevin Feige for giving a chance to a girl who only had 'Flounder in Little Mermaid Jr on her resume.' You ended your speech by saying "to everyone watching at home, wondering what to do so someone like my character Nicole doesn't have to go through what they went through. I urge you to look up local resources for LGBTQ youth in your area, donate to the Trevor Project, or create a safe space for teens that make them feel loved and appreciated. We have so much more work to do, and every little bit helps. Thank you." You said as you walked off the stage. You made your way backstage with Sebastian and Scarlett by your side.

Once you were off camera, you felt a strong pair of arms wrap around your waist and picked you up as you let out a squeal. "YOU DID IT! " Seb said as he sat your down. "I still can't believe that happened," you said. "I knew this was going to happen one day, and I'm so happy for you," Scarlett said as you all made your way toward the front of the theater to go back to your seats. Before you all headed your separate ways, Seb "You are star Y/n L/N. I'm so proud to be part of your journey and I can't wait to watch everything you do next." He said as he gave you a long, thoughtful hug. "Love you two Bucky Bear," you whispered into his ears which made him chuckle.

Your name was still trending on social media the next day. Your Marvel cast mates made posts and stories congratulating you which the internet ate up. You couldn't be happier to be part of such an amazing family.

Episode 4.

It's the best piece of work Marvel has made after they made IW and Endgame.

lemme start off with our favourite Miss Jolly Rancher Unhinged Clock and Victorian-Era HWR Fangirl. I KNEW Ravonna had somehow helped HWR in building the TVA, but him erasing her memories was straight up evil.

Then we come to the absolutely gruesome deaths of Dox and the others. HOLY SHIT MISS JOLLY RANCHER IS AWFUL like she was enjoying every second of Dox and her hunters literally getting crushed to their deaths. B-15 was traumatised, to say the least and you can see on Ravonna and Brad's faces a hint of disgust. But Miss Minutes grinning like that - outright disturbing.

I can't get over OB and Victor fanboying over each other's work - it was so funny yet wholesome.

Now let's talk about Loki and Sylvie. As a diehard Sylki stan you know I am, my fangirling heart was overjoyed seeing these two lovesick ducks working together willingly! I mean, yea, they did have that rather awkward talk in Pie Land (mind you that's it's official name henceforth) but after that they worked together as teammates! Now I must say, I completely agree with Sylvie on snapping on Mobius, because, well, yeah, the multiverse is a bigger priority than pie and I legit don't get why tf antis hate on Sylvie for doing so. Like you hated her for not giving a damn abt the TVA + the multiverse, but now when she stood up to do so y'all are hating on her again?? Like?? Make up ur mind, smh.

Anyways, back to Sylki. Sylvie got stuck in the elevator and the way she and Loki worriedly called out each other's names was so soft! And the "You ok?" trope CAME BACK OMG! THAT PHRASE IS LITERALLY THE BACKBONE OF SYLKI! When I tell you my fangirling heart screamed with joy omg-

I absolutely loved the way our Loki realised what he had to do and went real slow to prune his past self just so that Past Loki could get a glimpse of Sylvie; which would then lead him to be more determined than ever to go look for her. And I quite literally died on Sylvie being confused af as to wtf she just witnessed.

Then there's the telephone scene. OH MY GOD it was literally OB all this time when fans were out here speculating it was Kang or someone lmao. Both Loki and Sylvie yelling simultaneously to turn the security thing off gives out so much Couple Vibes, I absolutely loved it AAHHAHAH-

AND. THE. BRAD. SCENE. OOF.

our friendly neighbourhood lovesick ducks teaming up to enchant Brad was just too good. Loki in his hot, creepy voice luring Brad into a dark area while Sylvie very swiftly just straight up grabbing his face from the back - pure horror. Absolutely loved it, 10/10. Tho I must say, to do execute elaborate scheme, these two must have done some detailed planning (=more Sylki moments we were robbed off).

BUT THAT ENDING DUCKING MURDERED ME BROO OMG

Can we talk abt Victor's redemption? Man had been portrayed as evil since Quantumania, and has been manipulated by both Ravonna and Miss Jolly Rancher, but at the end of the day, he was a sweetheart. Man fanboys OB and basically became besties with him and Casey, worked together to create the solution to a mess he most certainly didn't want to be a part of, and then himself stepped up to fix the Loom once and for all to prove to everyone (and not let Sylvie's choice of sparing him go to waste) that tho he contained HWR's DNA, he wasn't HWR - he was a far better person HWR could have ever been. Seeing him getting spaghettified was tragically heart-wrenching, man deserved so much better :(

BUT HOLY SHIT DID THAT ONE HECK OF A GODDAMN CLIFFHANGER LEFT ME SPEECHLESS LIKE WTF WAS THAT?? U can't just kill off a character who had redeemed himself, and then make our main character and his homies watch literally EVERYTHING THEY WORKED SO HARD FOR GET ANNIHILATED TO THE GROUND-

But we know our God of Mischief isn't dead, and so are his homies eheheh.

However the looks on everyone's face was tragic. Loki knew all was lost and had tears in his eyes. Sylvie looked like she had accepted defeat and her death. Mobius and OB were in denial, refusing to believe that Victor was dead. Casey and B-15 looked horrified, as they realised what was to come now upon them.

Tldr, this episode was an ABSOLUTE BANGER. IM READY TO CLAIM IT SUPERIOR THAN ENDGAME, come and fight me. Its a top cinematic piece, and the suspense to Ep 5 is eating me up.

Oh this a welcomed one!

I adore Raph. He's one of my favorite character types - the gruff, protector who inside has this heart of gold, he just has to work through some stuff.

Rise Raph, will be first to go in this department, what a himbo, what a gem, what a sweetie. He's still got some of his rage, but he's more so the protector of the family. I love details like the bandage on his chest, that smile. His interactions with his brothers and April are so funny and wholesome. (The Lair Games and The Clothes Don't Make the Turtle are my favorite episodes for some choice brotherly moments)

Then we get to 2003 Raph, who is the one I first saw, the one who made me adore the character as a whole. This is the one I related to the most, because of the mix of his heartfelt moments, mixed with sometimes being too much.

Shoutouts to Lone Raph and Cub, for being the best Raphael episode. This boy just wants to save his loved ones and his brothers and father, bring out the best in him. Meet Casey Jones is another great Raph episode, because we see how Raph can turn OUT if he's not careful (and showing his merciful side, which I feel like is a character trait, that doesn't get talked about enough?)

Like, this boy could've laid Casey out, truly could've beat the snot outta him and left him hanging, but he DIDNT'.

I also, really appreciate in Hunted the way that Raph specifically wanted to *wrestle* with Leatherhead. There was no fear of his strength or his temper, just full out respect. I really enjoyed the storylines they gave Raph, throughout 03, because he was trying to be better from what he was - even though, some of it was still his pissing contest with Leo, but ohhh so good... and Same as It Never Was Raph?

Raphael Meets his Match was one of my favorite episodes of 1987 for that very reason. He's snarky, he will OBLITERATE you verbally, but this dude had rizz!!!

Honestly, he always makes me laugh.

2007 RAPHAEL

Oh man, this totally gave me a type when I was 11... Gruff, armored, badass motorcycle, I was fresh off my Sonic phase (yes I was a Shadow stan, let's just get that outta the way now)

My Linkin Park listening, Shadow the Hedgehog loving self, was fresh off of getting caught up on 03 when this dropped.

That movie had no right being that fun. I know it's up in the air whether or not it's ACTUALLY 03 canon but it hurts no one to think it is so I consider this Raph to just be the 19 year old ver of 03 Raph. Lot of time to grow and adjust. The Nightwatcher look for him, was SO good and that scene where he's fighting that demon? LOVED IT. Still die laughing to this day.

I need to read the 07 comics, because I know there's a Nightwatcher origin comic.

The fight between this Raph and Leo too... this was one where, Raph had some good points. Leo had issues to work through but then he comes back and just expects everyone to be ready to go back to how it was... and Raph's been keeping things in check, while Don and Mikey tried to keep them financially afloat, (frick I should've included 07 Donnie too, but again *points to "I see them as the same just older"*) and Raph had to keep the city SAFE.

Some of the BEST ficts I ever read, involved that fight in the rain. Mmm that was good HOT SOUP

But then... my favorite Raphael of all time...

IDW Raphael is everything, I love about him and more. He's this protector, he's still got his temper, but his bonds with his family, with Casey, with Alopex...

It's just all coming together so nicely and I ADORE moments like these, where we see him calm, where we see his SMILE. WHere everything in his world, for just ONE MOMENT is all right. Where he's okay.

I love that and I adore Raph/Alopex, I love it more than RaphXMona. (I ALSO LOVE THIS ONE. IT'S GOOD BUT RAPHLOPEX IS MY OTP)

And I do not have an opinion yet on Mutant Mayhem Raph YET, but we will get there.

*waves arms* I HAVE IDEAS for future Loki things. I briefly thought about writing some fics but lmao I've got enough stuff to write already.

(In the spirit of the MCU taking things from the comics and taming them down) We see Kid Loki from the Void wandering the new branches of Yggdrasil. He is not sure what has happened, and he doesn't know why he has this affinity for walking between the worlds (nice that Loki's Tree could be the reason every Loki is able to walk the "hidden paths"), but he does have The Wanderlust and he is also homeless. His alligator friend has found a magic pond, he Does Not want to return to the Void, his native timeline has been pruned for what, centuries? He's all alone. He has thought about finding a timeline with no Loki but the thought of trying to add himself into a Kid Thor's life makes him feel weird because Unresolved Issues. And then the magpie comes, first in his dreams, then out of them. The magpie talks, and is a trickster, and the Kid calls it Ikol. The magpie tells him they have to retrieve the flaming sword from wherever it was left (hmmm how does Ikol know where it is?)–first adventure–then rescue a lonely Loki, the one that would become Classic Loki after hiding in the asteroid after Infinity War–second adventure, or perhaps the last one, because hey if Thor really had to be stuck with a child, it could have been Kid Loki–and whoa there's so many adventures to be had. If some people ever figured out a Loki can power the whole fucking universe, a smaller one would be a smaller battery but an easier one to get. Ravonna Renslayer could pop up again. Kang, of course. Isn't the MCU gathering Young Avengers? Kid Loki's in the playing field, hooray, can't wait for the bad handling, hooray... wouldn't it be awesome if the "big bad" of the new phases was actually The Loki Who Sits In A Tree Of Time and the TVA trying to stop everyone from causing multidimensional wars, of course it's from the pov of those trying to travel through dimensions so they're not aware it's dangerous and those trying to stop them look evil until the whole picture is revealed to them.

Anyway, on-screen it would've been an easy guess because it would've been voiced by Tom Hiddleston, but Ikol the magpie is in fact the Loki that sits in the Tree, and projects outside of it (didn't Tom Hiddleston say it would be "unwise" to consider Loki's journey done?) to not be lonely and to watch out for the child he'd met. Like in the comics, only the Kid can see him.

The cameos Stan Lee used to do could be Mobius hanging around occasionally talking "to himself" if you know what I mean. I want him randomly dropping by in every single new movie, occasionally together with B15, Casey, Brad Wolfe, Ouroboros or someone else from the TVA.

(The fic title would've been The Kid, The Magpie and The Flaming Sword 👀)
