Take direct action for victims of terrorism in Iraq

Remembrance and paying tribute to victims of terrorism plays a central role in demonstrating that their status as victims is respected and recognised.

The UN’s International Day of Remembrance of and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism serves to commemorate and uphold the dignity of victims and highlights the importance of global solidarity in ensuring that victims are not forgotten.

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder is caused by highly stressful, frightening or distressing events. Someone with PTSD often relives the traumatic event through nightmares and flashbacks, and may experience feelings of isolation, irritability and guilt.

A person may also have problems sleeping and find concentrating difficult. These symptoms are often severe and persistent enough to have a significant impact on the person's day-to-day life. PTSD can develop immediately after a traumatic event, or it can occur weeks, months or even years later.

The psychological and emotional scars of war in Iraq are immense, with thousands of people needing psychological assistance. Among those in desperate need of care, are people suffering PTSD, depression and severe anxiety as a direct consequence of experiencing attacks by ISIS.

The well-being of men, women and children in Iraq is our concern. This is why Iraq Solidarity News (Al-Thawra) supports the AMAR Foundation's work with survivors of terrorism in Iraq. AMAR's efforts with survivors of terrorism is essential, as trauma can be equally debilitating as any other injury, if it’s left untreated.

Itty Bitty Timmy becoming Superman obsessed instead of Batman obsessed

And he somehow still manages to tail Superman for photos without Superman knowing.

Like, his parents move to Metropolis instead of Gotham. He gets saved by Superman at three instead of watching the Graysons die.

He fixates.

He pinpoints where Superman appears to start from during emergency vs where he starts from via regular patrol based on the level of crime stopped and manages to find not only the Daily Planet, but also Clarks goddamn apartment building.

He manages to get a list and pictures of all reporters at the Daily Planet.

He figures out who Superman is.

Superman only realizes he has a child following him around when said child almost gets too close the the action.

And then he does it again.

And again.

In the middle of an argument, the same one that would have driven Jason away, Superman flies into the cave holding a windswept Tim.

"Please teach him how not to die." Was probably not the best opener, but Clarks suffered multiple small heart attacks thanks to the kid, and he needs help from the only completely human hero he knows who can go toe to toe with gods.

The other option was Green Arrow, but Tim's need to solve mysteries fits more with Bruce than Ollie.

For the Ballput au...

Will the nightmare animatronics be roaming the house at night or is it going to be Evan's imagination? I can see Gregory opening the door to get a glass of water only to see a ruined animatronic in the hallway.

That is a fucking terrifying thought and im so happy you mentioned it.

The thing I kind of wanna do with ball pit au is play around with the thought that terrors come to life. So ough i can just imagine a sleepover setting where Mike and Gregory start hearing and seeing shit and its slowly driving Mike insane because the fear factor has spiked to 100 and he’s too afraid to check what the scratching outside the door is—

And Greg does it for him, immediately being met with an amalgamation of yellow, red and razor sharp rust.
