I love the idea of some of the rookie twelve being horrified by how Naruto and his siblings act towards each other while other are just like “no yeah that tracks” just.

Sakura: Naruto siblings aren’t supposed to actively try to stab each other.

Kiba: sounds fake

Sasuke: Is fake

Ino: We’re not even actual siblings and I’ve tried to stab Shikamaru four times today.

Tenten: all of you need therapy.

Neji: … no I can see where they’re coming from.

new rarepair acquired kakashi and shizune date for about a year while kakashi is hokage it started when shizune got tired of seeing him overworked and stressed and tired and went LORD HOKAGE SIR I AM TAKING YOU OUT TO DINNER and they have dates and sneak off to make out on the roof at night and kiss when no one is watching them in the hokage office and they literally act like teenagers with their first love because kakashi didnt get to be a normal kid much less a normal teenager who gets to do stupid stuff and probably neither did shizune so now they're in their 30s and ordering expensive take out with the hokages money to eat in their pajamas on the living room floor

#they break off after a little over a year but its mutual and literally no venom or bad feelings #they were just ready to move on to other things #namely kakashi has a crush on iruka #shed probably help him with it too #like even after theyre not together they remain besties #overall it is very healthy and light and they both needed that #also shizune would probably be kakashis first real girlfriend #bc here are the hc we came up with me n abbey #obito was his first crush #then rin was his first kiss #tenzo was his first love and his first time - they didnt really date but they had some sort of relationship #he tried kissing gai when they were both drunk. the conclusion is that the kiss is good #but they're just besties #and then shizune #qnd after shizune theres iruka and theyee old and gay and narutos dads #these ttags got long. its 1:30 am

Venomous Naruto

Little Naruto at least at first doesn’t prefer speaking (mostly because at the orphanage he was never really taught how) and prefers to communicate in fox and, eventually, snake. His siblings have… varying levels of success understanding him.

Kabuto is fluent in both, learned it within a month of Naruto living with them, full baby genius mode as he was presented with something new and interesting and latched on immediately. Naruto is naturally incredibly attached to him and gets very upset when he is not available which considering Kabuto is still at the academy at this point is most of the day. Designated Naruto translator when Orochimaru isn’t around.

Anko knows snake, has some success with fox. Can mostly tell more general things. Couldn’t replicate it if her life depended on it but does know the difference between Naruto asking for something and cursing at her. Will hiss at people to cuss them out if they irritate her. Naruto finds this hilarious and picks up the habit.

Tenzo doesn’t know either. Can generally tell the difference in mood and tone but that’s about it. Forever the one gently reminding Naruto to use his words. This would be more of a problem if most of the time when Naruto finds him without one of their other siblings or their mother lurking around he’s in the Jonin standby station where Tsume and Kakashi are lurking. Will growl back however despite it not being actual “words.”

Tsume adores this feral little child that frequently sneaks into the Jonin only lounge despite being three. Kuromaru also is very fond of the child. Treats Naruto like Tsumes other pups for the most part.

Kakashi is… kakashi. Fluent in both dog and wolf (and pretty quickly picks up the nuance of fox) but for a while is still in the mindset of “I don’t deserve good things”. Will always act as translator even if he looks terrified whenever Naruto smiles at him. Taught Naruto how to swear in dog.
