I disagree completely.

Wyll's uncomfortable because he has horns NOW and did not have them the last time he saw those tieflings. Literally most of them know him BY NAME. He's uncomfortable because he doesn't want to have to answer the same question over and over and over again to these people that he knows, has worked with, and has helped teach.

If you've ever lost a job or had something bad happen to you, it makes sense. You don't want to go to a big event right after it happened because you KNOW everyone will be asking you about that bad event. And you don't want to deal with it!!!

That was me after my dog passed away last year. I knew people were being understanding and trying to be comforting, but I didn't want to keep telling people that he fucking died over and over again!! It was upsetting!!! It just kept re-opening the wound!

honestly right now one of the most toxic fandoms is the Godzilla fandom endlessly waging flame wars over Minus One vs. the Monsterverse. it's pathetic, really. especially since Godzilla has been both serious and silly at differing points of his film history

Ive seen the exact opposite, lmao. I've seen people saying like ""Minus One was an expensive, fancy, steak dinner. And Godzilla x Kong was a greasy hamburger meal. Both were good in completely different ways."" I have literally seen that, with pictures of the steak and burger included. It was honestly really funny.

Most people I have seen are loving the difference between the Godzilla films and using it as an example of the range the series has.

I’ve been seeing a lot of honestly very personally antagonistic behaviour in the notes on these polls, so much so that I’ve had to step away entirely from something I and I bet many others hoped would be fun and lighthearted.

I would appreciate it if you would release some guidelines on interacting with kindness and respect for each other and fact checking the claims people make about creators and actors before they post/reply/tag/etc.

I love being a hater as much as the next person but everyone still deserves respect ♥️ I want everyone to feel comfortable voicing their opinions without fear of retribution, because I see how this experiment could escalate into doxxing or death threats.

I also want to make sure misinformation is not being taken at face value. It is important to identify creatives who stand by Israeli genocide and criticise this support, for example, but not everyone accused of anything has in fact done it. These accusations should be taken seriously but when they hqge been credibly debunked they need to stop being spread. Accusations of pedophilia, sexual assault, and racism can all be made to discredit someone rather than bring the truth to light—and people are especially likely to circulate misinfo about debunked claims when they want to prove that a piece of media and/or its fans are bad.

In short, I want everyone to please be critical consumers! I want everyone to be smart and be kind to each other.

What is Genshin and why is its fandom so bad?

Genshin is one of those gacha games where you are pretty much encouraged to spend money on it and get addicted to it. It's an anime story thing, I don't really know.

The fans of it that I've come across have just been miserable people. I'm sure it's not all of them, but the ones I have met and seen have been really rude and shit. I know ive seen online drama about fans bullying the company that makes the game for not being fast enough, but I've never read it very much. Other than that, I've seen people online doing the typical Fandom bullshit where no one is allowed to have an opinion they don't like and there's lots of arguments and fights about that. Death threats for not liking characters, threats of doxxing, the usual shit. The fandom is just pretty vocal and pretty mean.
