5. Separatism: complete separation from men and patriarchal society isn’t for me at this time, but I support it 100% for women for whom it is right. More accessible forms of separatism (ie. female-only apartment buildings, female-only spaces, supporting women over men always, listening to, watching and reading womens creative works, art, movies etc.) I am fully in support of and I think we all should be doing more of that.

12. Veganism: that’s a tough one. I don’t eat very much meat but I’m not fully vegetarian or vegan. I support veganisn on a theoretical level, but it’s not an area of personal activism for me. I think ethical consumption (ie. not wasting food, purchasing food from the most ethical, sustainable places possible, growing as much of your own food as you can) of food is equally important and more accessible to the consumer. We also must hold unethical companies accountable, rather than putting the responsibility on consumers alone. I think a lot of vegans can also hold on to some feelings of moral superiority, and I’m not sure that’s always conducive to furthering the cause.

24. T-slur: I don’t really see a need to use it, so I don’t think it’s a necessary debate as to whether it’s a slur and whether we should use it. I think it’s a cheap insult that ends up just devaluing our (radfems) political and theoretical position in most cases.

I’m so fine with my diet, there’s nothing to complain about. I’d 100% be complaining about it on here if I were bothered with it. My mom even goes out of her way sometimes to sneak into a vegan aisle at a store and buy me boxes of different variations of mac and cheese. All tastes like actual mac to me, now. People simply have intolerances to foods, especially kids but are forced to eat it since it’s the only thing they offer in public school lunches. I wish I started wayyy younger but that is the exact reason why I didn’t. I would’ve had a clear face at 13 if I took the path that I’m on in the present day. Long story short, there should be a wider range of lunches offered. Veganisn is no longer a foreign concept. It’s widely-known and that especially sunk in last night when I went to Walmart. They finally kept up with their stock and now have an entire aisle dedicated to vegans.

This is for all the mothers who only get to see their child for a few hours before being taken away.

Two years ago today I met a beautiful mother and her new born daughter. What you can’t see is that her hips are in a hip clamp because she can no longer stand after giving birth over and over in order to produce milk. That day she was considered useless and after I left she received a bolt through her brain and was thrown in the rubbish.

Ditch dairy🌿 for all the separated babies, the mothers stuck in the torture cicyle and for yourself because you don’t need it.
