[Don't ask me how I got here and how I got these kinds of online friends that ask me this. I just do]

Note: When I said the heat of the moment, I meant innocently. Not... you know 🤭

Kaeya, Yae Miko, and Asmodeus would be first surprised but then amused. "My, my~ am I yours now?~ Well, I quite don't mind being yours ♥︎" they are so gonna tease you. Maybe brag about it. Who knows. Everyone was questioning that they've had strangely been in a good mood. They would 10/10 use this opportunity to tease and flirt with you. Venti would 10/10 brag about it too and join the fun. Same with Ayato, even if he loves your gentle, caring, and calm personality. He definitely likes this side....he wonders what about— (I ain't writing that. Let your imagination go wild)

Lucifer and Zhongli would be very surprised but would smirk at your words/actions. Lucifer would probably scold you a bit because of it, but he honestly doesn't mind, no, he loves it when you do. Just his pride doesn't make him admit it. Oh, how they love the face you made when you became a little annoyed at the person he was talking to. Zhongli would seem to have his mind on something else while drinking some tea. Some people would see him smiling. Maybe he was thinking of how you made him go closer to you when the person seems to be getting closer to him? Pantalone. Suddenly, the payment would get higher. I wonder why...(Look in the dottore one.)

Alhaitham and Albedo would probably observe. They would test what is the limit until you get jealous and perhaps get a little possessive. Maybe they want to see you in action.

Dottore would think it's absurd to waste his time observing this new reaction. It's just emotion. It's not like he is experimenting on his love you and love watching your reaction. He would never....why was he and Pantalone working together, and Pantalone was paying spies to see reactions or even new ones of you and people who make these reactions from you? Aurgh, now you had an effect on him! This would interfere with his experimenting. You must take responsibility. Now...won't you let him do what he wishes? You are gonna take responsibility, won't you?

Mammon and xiao would be so flustered though. Mammon would stutter every time he thinks about that moment whenever you are near him. He gets distracted easily. Xiao would probably could never see you in a week unless you call his name. If it wasn't an emergency, he would pout frown. He could never look into your eyes for months. Or he'll be blushing. They both hoped that you didn't see the tip of their ears go red. How flustered. "You have no respect for the adepti!"

Levi would be so baffled. 'H- hUuUUuH?! Is [name] getting jealous for a yucky Otaku like me?!!' He would probably stay in his room for days, and if he do invite you in, he'll probably rest his head on your shoulders. Just don't turn your head to see him blushing so hard. If he encounters someone or something he doesn't like, then he will definitely hide behind you. Even if you're short, because short people are scary....especially with the slipper—

Ganyu would protect you if in any cases goes wrong, but she would probably be blushing and stuttering for a few days. It does make her feel some sort of protection, although if you are too tense, she'll probably be embarrassed but uses her adorable tatic you love to do. Lay on her lap or let her lay on your lap as you soothe her to sleep.

Satan and Cyno. Yeah, I know. Other genshin characters are scary, but Ima just Cyno as an example. They would be a little surprised but not that much since everyone, even the most gentle, calm, and caring person, can have some moments like these, but still surprised. They would probably encourage you, because. They believe if you're theirs, then they are yours. And because they like this side of you. Satan would probably guide you to a nearby cat café if the atmosphere is too tense. Cyno would probably crack up some jokes. Classic. They both would probably glare at the person, well, unless someone they hold dear. But if it's a stranger or person they don't, they will. Don't forget, even if Cyno is a person who has jokes up his sleeves like Ayato getting his Boba from his sleeve. He is still the General Mahamantra, so he does look scary for his height. (As I told you in Levi's, short people are scary!! Don't tell any shorties though. Don't wanna get my life hunted 😨)

Beel and belphie. Honestly, they both don't really care that much. Well, Beel does feel flattered and probably smiles by your actions, but! He's just hungry and loves your cooking. Although he'll probably hold your hand and shyly say thank you for making that flirty person go away. Belphie just wants some sleep, but thanks to the surprise, he can't. Now, you need to hold him tightly in your arms. "Don't. You. Dare. Let. Go....please?" (He'll ask politely)

"Y/n! Wait up!" You heard a familiar voice from behind you. Turning your head, you saw your childhood, and only best friend, Gepard running towards you. For the past year , he's been sleeping in and making you wait for him every morning. At first you didn't have a problem with it until he started sleeping in way too much which nearly caused you to arrive to school late. You weren't dealing with angry teachers for your tardiness so you left without waiting for him.

The blondie finally caught up with you when you finally stopped at the cross walk. "You-You really gotten faster." He breathlessly said as you placed your hands on your hip.

→ "Maybe don't sleep in next time."

You say. The blonde stood up straight, nervously scratching the back of his head. "Apologies Y/n," he said,"I'll try not to keep you waiting."

→ "It's fine. I guess."

You said. Gepard smiled shortly at you before he looked to come to a sudden realization. "Oh Y/n! I almost forgot. Have you decided what club you want to be in for this year?" He asked.

You froze. It dawned on you that you promised Gepard to join a club this year, and you entirely forgot."Y/n? Don't tell me you're planning not to join one."

→ "Uhhhh- I was totally planning to join one. Just not now?"

You explained. You heard the blonde sighed, crossing his arms and shaking his head. "Y/n, you promised to join one this year. How can you get any friends when you constantly are playing on your phone ,and refusing to socialize?" He said, you rolled your eyes.

→ "Says you." You say. Gepard looked shocked and yet slightly red. "Well- I'm trying too and plus I've been able to make more friends ." He said.

→ "Uh huh, yeah sure. Say that when you have other people to sit with at lunch."

Gepard sighed. "Look, will you at least actually try to? Your happiness matters to me Y/n. I don't want to see you alone, and plus I want you to have others around you when I can't be." He said, causing you to sigh.

→ "Fine, I'll actually try. But I can't promise that I'll join one."

Gepard smiled. "I'm glad you're at least trying."

You felt a smile on your face. Seeing Gepard happy, made you feel happy too. He's been stressed with school and home so to put a smile on his face and his mind at ease was something you were proud and happy about.The nice moment was ruined of course when in the distance you both heard the school bell ring. Both of your eyes widened before immediately dashing towards the gate. Out of breath as you both managed to get to school before the gate closed. "I guess see you at lunch?" Gepard asked, wiping off a bit of sweat from his forehead. You nodded.You both waved bye before heading your separate ways.

The end of class bell rang as the day flew by. You were sitting at the back of the class of Bio when it rang. 'I should probably start looking at clubs now. *Ugh*I might as well start with the gaming club.' You were spacing out when you felt a tap on your shoulder. Instinctively you immediately went to hit whatever it was until you saw a familiar blonde with blue eyes male.

→ "Hey Gepard."

You said, relaxing a bit. "Hey Y/n, sorry to disturb you but I was gonna meet you outside but I saw you in here doing nothing alone." You looked around, seeing that you were the only one there, heck even the teacher was gone.

→" Oh-"

"So have you taken into consideration what club you wanted to join?" Gepard asked, helping you get your stuff.

→ "Not yet."

You lied, you were thinking about joining the gaming club. It was fun and would be less boring plus you don't think anyone would bother you anyways. It would more than likely be filled with introverts and nothing more but gaming challenges etc. "Then how about you join my club?" He smiled.

→ " Your club? What is your club even about?"

"Well it's the literature club-"

→"No."

You said with no hesitation. "Come on, it isn't that bad plus..." Gepard seemed nervous.

→ "Plus what?"

"I kind of promised everyone that I'd bring a new member.." He said, rubbing the back of his neck. Right then and there you wanted to facepalm yourself.

→ " That's a personal problem."

Gepard rolled his eyes.

"Come on, please Y/n. You don't have to join- Just at least give it a chance." He said, looking at you desperately. "Dan Heng already made tea and a tray of desserts for this." He continued.You looked at him at the mention of food and tea.

→ "Fine, I'll go see your club."

Gepard's face lit up. "Wait- Really?" He asked. You nodded. He smiled brightly the entire way you both went up to the fourth floor of the school.It was primarily used for storage and club activities, plus the teacher's lounge was located here too. You both walked until you reached the end of the hallway to which Gepard stopped at the room to the left. He looked back at you, probably checking to see if you were ready, before opening the doors.

The classroom had three bookshelves filled with many genres and a back closet. It seems to have 20 desks, a teacher's podium in the front with a whiteboard on the wall with a reminder. 'Festival is happening soon!' You were too busy looking around the room to pay any attention to the three insanely attractive men in front of you before Gepard spoke.

"Hey guys, I brought the new member!" He announced. Your head snapped at him.

→ "Don't call me the new member."

You muttered.

"Welcome to the club." You heard a voice say, you turned to see a black haired male with cameo blue eyes and two translucent turquoise horns. "Mhm..." Another black haired male hummed, the ends of his hair faded to a tint of red and his eyes were an orange red.

"Everyone, I want you to meet my friend, Y/n." Gepard said. "It's lovely to see you again." A familiar voice said. Immediately you turned to see the one and only perfect student, Jing Yuan warmly smiling at you. "Y/n meet Dan Heng, Blade, and I assume you already know Jing Yuan?" Gepard said, introducing everyone. Jing Yuan nodded."We are fairly acquainted already." He chuckled.

→ " We both had Mr. Svarog for homeroom last year right?"

You asked. "Indeed. I'm glad to see you taking interest in the Literature club.""I am as well, I'm Dan Heng by the way." Dan Heng said. The one you assumed to be Blade didn't say anything but simply stared at you. Then there was a high pitch whistle as Dan Heng immediately went to go get the tea.

"Please take a seat at the table Y/n." Gepard smiled. At the near back there was a table with four chairs. Blade then moved an extra chair before Gepard could and motioned for you to sit.You sat down beside Gepard as Dan Heng set tea cups in front of you all, pouring the perfect amount of tea with Blade setting down a tray of sweets and pastries.

"So tell me Y/n, what made you want to join our club?" Blade asked, obviously glaring at you. You glanced at Gepard, you already knew that if you told the truth he'd be in trouble so you came up with the only excuse you had.

-> "Well I was looking for something to occupy my mind for a while and Gepard seemed to enjoy this club so I wanted to give it a shot."

You lied, putting on the fakest smile you could. "Well I'm glad you decided to join us." Jing Yuan smiles at you again. You felt your face slightly heat up. Having one of the most attractive and popular boys smile at you so warmly and genuinely made you feel some time of way.

"It's nice to see you join, we've been trying to get others to join as well but they won't give it a chance." Jing Yuan said as Blade nodded. "I made this club with the intention of having others show and have their love for literature grow, to be able to express ourselves if that's easier to put it."

"Our goal is to make the Literature club popular before we graduate next year. "Mhm." Dan Heng hummed, taking a sip of the tea. Gepard nodded alongside Blade.Dang these guys seem to be serious about this club. "So what books do you read anyways?" Blade asked, still glaring at you.

→"Well I don't read a lot but the few I have were fantasy or adventure fiction, but a lot was fanfiction."

Dan Heng's head perked a bit at the topic but he didn't say anything.

→ "What about you Blade?"

Blade kept quiet before Jing Yuan spoke."He reads horror novels and books a lot. Some vampire ones too from the books I've seen him read once or twice." Immediately Blade glared at Jing Yuan, obviously not liking how he spoke for him. It was obvious from the moment you met Blade, he was a loner and probably someone who causes fights easily, yet to see someone with that kind of attitude about them read was kind of cute in a way.

"Oh- Dan Heng, I forgot to mention earlier but at the last meeting you seemed to forget your notebook." Jing Yuan spoke, before sliding a notebook with maple leaves on it to Dan Heng.

"Thank you Jing Yuan.." he said. "Isn't that the notebook you were writing that novel of yours in?" Gepard asked, Dan Heng nodded. "It's still a working progress.."He explained. "Really? I thought by now after 6 months it would be at least done by now." Gepard said.

→ "You write your own novels?" You ask Dan Heng. He nodded.

→ "That's quite impressive, not gonna lie." Dan Heng slightly smiles. "Perhaps one day you can share it with the rest of us." Gepard said. "Speaking of writings, Blade, don't you write as well?" Jing Yuan asks him.

"No-" Blade was cut off by Gepard.

" But I saw you writing-"

"Shut up." Blade snapped at him. "Seems that we have to give you some confidence. Say this gives me an idea." Jing Yuan said.The three of you looked at him expectively. "Tonight we go home and write a short story and at the next meeting, we read them aloud. Plus since we have a new member now, it would give us a chance to learn more about each other." Jing Yuan said.

→ "Actually about that- I never said I was joining. I might've come to see it but I still have other clubs to- Uhh."

You froze, seeing the four boys slightly sad and rather disappointed faces. "I see, apologies for assuming you were joining." Dan Heng said. Blade was still glaring at you but more intensely. "Well- This is rather unfortunate but I do hope we can one day welcome you as a new member some day." Jing Yuan said, the disappointment in his voice was clear. "Y/n.." Gepard looked at you with a solemn expression, he was obviously hoping you'd actually join.

You felt a sting of guilt and shame as you sighed. Today is the day you sell your soul just to see some hot dudes who read and tea.

→ "I've decided... I'm joining."

Their faces immediately lit up as Gepard pulled you into a tight hug. "Thank you y/n." He whispered before pulling away. "Well then welcome to the Literature club, Y/n l/n. Alright everyone, I think today's meeting can end on a good note."

After that you walked home...Unaware of the new surprises you'll now face...⁠♡

( warnings? ) none. ( notes? ) this is a veil! inspired story—you all should check out the manga it’s really good. reader is blind. fem reader. 1950s.

“Can you hold my hand?” She asks softly, her head turning in the direction of the warmth emanating from his body. “It’s getting a bit chilly…”

The taller man looked down at the her, and sure enough, her cheeks were rosy. He could tell that she was getting cold.

“Of course.” He answered, lacing his gloved fingers through hers. “It’ll be easier to direct you if I hold your hand.”

The woman found herself smiling. She liked the feeling of his hands. He often wore gloves—and those were very soft. But, they often warmed up his hands. Of course, she would be wearing her own gloves, but she couldn’t remember the last place she had put them. And they would be far too late if she decided to feel around for them.

“Steps…” The man softly called out, alerting the girl of the changes in their path as they walked.

“Oh, thank you.” The woman responded, the pair returning to comfortable silence once again.

The man peered down at the shorter woman, his eyes gazing at her soft features with loving eyes. When he first saw her, he fell in love with everything about her. Her rosy cheeks, her full lips—which were always adorned in red lipstick, her neat eyebrows and long eyelashes, and her shiny hair that curled just perfectly at the end. Her style of dressing was elegant, and she had looks to rival Marilyn Monroe—he was in awe.

He often found himself staring at her, a fact that she has pointed out to him numerous times. But he can’t help it, I mean she was so beautiful it’ll be crazy not to notice her.

When these two first met, it was in the corridors of their apartment building. She was a newcomer who had just moved into the room directly across from his.

The man didn’t really get along with his neighbors—and it wasn’t as if he really tried too. He always left early in the morning for his job and came back late at night. It wasn’t very often for him to run into people.

But then he met her.

She was gentle, like a small animal, and had a refined air to her. He could tell she grew up wealthy and in a stable household. She also seemed touchy. He would notice how she would graze her hands along the walls as she walked, and for the first few weeks she always had someone by her side, whispering into her ear.

A maid he presumed.

But why? Why would someone like her live in such a modest area? She seemed to stand out…and this seemed like a downgrade in his eyes.

One day, the man finally got the answers to his question.

In the lifts at half past twelve, he met her. They were the only two inside at the time, since it was quite literally midnight.

The woman immediately knew when the man stepped inside, since she could sense his presence. The scent of pine seemed to waft into the lift. A slight hint of musk and smoke covering his body. That was how she knew it was a man.

Although her history with men was troubled, she didn’t immediately go on alert. He seemed familiar somehow…

“You seem familiar…” She speaks out, her face turning in the direction of his scent. “Do I know you from somewhere?”

The man, who was already giving her his full attention nods, unaware that she couldn’t see him. “Oh, well that may be because I’m your neighbor. Directly across from you…”

The woman let’s out a gasp, covering her mouth his her hand, face morphing into shock. “No wonder!” She exclaimed, memories of walking to her door and getting faint smells of his scent.

The man chuckled at her reaction. He thought her mannerisms were cute.

“Ah, you must have been expecting me to introduce myself—I am terribly sorry!” The woman said anxiously, causing the man to wave his hands in disagreement.

“No worries…I should be the one to introduce myself. But you see, I’m rarely home so I never got the chance…” The man began to think that this lift ride was especially longer than usual. But whatever the reason he was thankful.

“Oh?”

“It’s because of my job, I often have to stay out late…” The man finishes, scratching his head bashfully.

“I think it’s wonderful you have a job. I don’t work myself…” The woman responded. The man let out a knowing grunt. He sort of knew she probably didn’t work. It did seem like she had no issue getting money. But one thing did stand out to him…

“You must be very tired…”

“Hmm?”

“Well I mean, it may be dark but aren’t your eyes closed right now?”

The woman thoughtfully scratches her chin before softly smiling.

“Well if I open them, I wouldn’t be able to see anything—so I rather keep them closed.”

It was then the man finally understood, and all the pieces of the puzzles clicked in his mind.

“Ah! I’m terribly sorry for—”

“No need to be sorry, I never mentioned it.” The woman interrupted his apology, a forlorn expression crossing her face for a quick moment.

The doors of the lift finally opened, letting them know that they have arrived at their floor. Unexpectedly, the woman extended her hands towards the man.

“Well, would you be so kind as to walk me back to my room sir?” She asked, a mischievous look on her face. The man was stunned—but he assumed it was just the darkness tampering with his vision.

“Of course, then we shall go over introductions on the way…”

“That sounds lovely…”

Or maybe the archons, like zhongli with morax. And if you want to add a reader, it's like a little mix of timelines and universes where each timeline knows the reader, but maybe all versions think differently of them? Or etc. [Or just insert your own personal idea]

Chapter 1: Vacation...?

Soothing summer breeze, lulling sound of waves.. Even with your eyes closed you could feel a pleasant warmth on your skin as gentle sunrays seemed to kiss your cheeks. Oh, what a wonderful dream you had right now. You could feel all the stress from this week’s work dissipate into nothingness…

Speaking of your job. Constant shouting of your boss, absolutely uninteresting gossip all around the office, endless spiral of stress and despair as you have spent days over those stupid reports that ‘had to be done yesterday, but whoops, we forgot to tell you’. As if everyone suddenly decided to bring you to the edge of madness and provoke a few crimes of passion, huh. Yeah, screw it all. Mulling over the last weeks events you sighted.

When did your life get so dull and uninspiring?

Office job was, of course, not the worst one you could have, especially if you compare it to the one of those poor souls who have to work at the customer service (bless them and their patience, truly - astonishing) and some may even consider it somewhat prestigious… Yet, a beautiful facade always hides something hopelessly glum. Hustler mentality? As if there was something exceptional to hustle for! And yet your checks were only covering your rent (have you tried finding a decently priced nice flat in the bustling city full of workaholics? Bet, even Sherlock Holmes would struggle searching for it on all those listing websites) and some necessities that included: Netflix subscription, freezer full of ice cream baskets and those small trinkets that you happened to spend ridiculous amounts on. But, hey, they did make your life less miserable! Occasional thought of grabbing a few drinks at a bar with your friends on a pay day has recently been pushed away due to the crippling thought of waking up with a shitty hangover (they do not get better with age and your college self would have been embarrassed about you suddenly being a lightweight, but, alas).

And it’s not like you could suddenly drop your job and start a life changing adventure to the middle of nowhere, those bills won’t pay themselves… The only vacation you could afford was either a nice walk straight to the depths of hell that is your office desk or, as an alternative, logging into Genshin Impact and completing your daily commissions. Yes, Genshin did give you everything you have ever wanted from a game: breathtaking sceneries, outstanding lore, sexy characters, exceptional music, inexplicably hot characters, exotic places, those absolutely gorgeous people… Ahem. Ah, screw it, you were in a desperate need of vacation, that’s for sure. If even your dreams are now nudging you to go to a beach? Yeah, a break was needed.

And thinking of dreams.. With your eyes still closed you could hear a somewhat distant murmuring nearby. Huh? Since when people in dreams started speaking gibberish? And why did your cheeks burn from being exposed to the sun…

At that you decided that it’s finally time to open your eyes and sit down. Woah! The sea right in front of your eyes was mesmerizing. Stretching and yawning like a cat who has just had a full-course royal meal of a few tuna cans you got up and finally glanced at a place where you have heard people quietly conversing.

A young looking blonde male with a braid that could make all those shampoo commercials’ models green with envy was carefully observing your now standing form from a distance. Next to him, a small white something that strangely resembled a child was currently busy with waving their arms and shouting something inarticulate at you.

Aether and Paimon, huh. It’s not as if your brain even tried to hesitate deciding who it was upon seeing them. An interesting addition to your dream, indeed. But why was Paimon shouting again? And WHAT was she shouting exactly? What, Morpheus did not foresee an auto translation feature in his dream kingdom?

Tilting your head in confusion you’ve sent her a puzzled look hoping for her to catch onto your unspoken question. Looking at your perplexed face expression the little fairy has finally stopped abusing her throat and started anxiously waving her hands, pointing at something that was supposedly right behind you.

Bloop..Bloop…Bloop…

Turning your head at a lightspeed you have finally noticed the presence of a blue blob that was currently jumping towards you. A hydro slime. A hydro slime?! What in the Genshin Impact…You knew what it was, obviously, and if you consider all the slimes that you have murdered while playing this game, no wonder that it has suddenly decided to start its revenge arc aiming right at your left ankle. But you cannot get hurt in your dreams, right? Well, as soon as the blob, who seemingly didn’t have a single thought behind those big round eyes, finally bumped at your leg, you have felt a sudden sharp pain in your ankle… Great.

Well, apparently you can get hurt in dreams and that was not what you have signed up for! Not wasting a second longer you straight up bolted towards the watching duo. Hiding behind Aether, who was seemingly unaffected by this ordeal, you started waving your hands as if you were Paimon’s lost twin.

- Why are you standing here as a mannequin, it is going to hurt us!

As if responding to your panicked cry Aether has finally decided to stop his game of peepers, sighting deeply. Stepping towards the blob he has now materialized his sword (the almighty Dull blade, you notice!).

Aaand ... Slash.

The blob is gone, the world is saved, hotel? Trivago.

Both, you and Paimon have let out a breath that you were holding. You looked at the crime scene in front of your eyes: the only remains of an annihilated slime were some splashes, that were currently being absorbed in the sand.

- Nice moves you’ve got there Aether!

You have always thought of yourself as someone good at communication, the one who could pretty much predict where any conversation was flowing. Yet, the only thing that you have not anticipated was a dull blade pointed right at your throat after that exact sentence.

Nani the fuck?!

Buckle up! We are going to throw a Bilbo Baggins move and embark on a journey. Not that the reader has a choice anyway... ;)
