My twin brother was the first king of Atlantis but somehow I seem to be more famous than him. I am one of three ringbearers, the other two being the female version of Feanor and a guy who loves fireworks. My foster father is a crazy homeless guy who likes music and his whole family is dead. My many-greats grandnephew is in love with my daughter. No one can tell my sons apart. I like waterfalls and am both a glorified innkeeper and a top-notch doctor. I am the voice of reason no one listens to.

#yup sadly true #the blind hatred for this show and characters when its so hypocritical #and they've not really watched any of it is so saddening and infuriating #but also at least we know the haters are pathetic lol #this show and cast and characters and everyone involved deserves love #and I hope our loyal fandom shows that to them #We're far better than all the haters put together with chocolate #I could never imagine being so hateful and nasty like I just wish they'd shut up #and go watch house of if the dragon or something lol #which btw is another reason I love rings of power because its so vibrant and colourful #and uses darkness and light beautifully #and you can xan see whats happening and see the beauty and terror of middle earth #it shines #but other fantasies like hotd are misty and dark and you can't see anything #yet the haters say rop looks bad??! bruh #anyway so grateful for you guys #and lets hope for a trailer soon we can get excited about!

"So that was difficult. But then you try to adapt to that and see what they were really looking for. And I think some fans were mixing Peter Jackson's films with Tolkien's work, and we've been trying to stay true to Tolkien and bring a cool look..."

"I love the PJ movies, that's why I got involved in the first place. I think we're trying to mix it up. I think the new season is definitely darker. It's edgy. It's always easier once you've laid it all out, you can go in in the characters, there is more drama."

“It was actually a coincidence to have an all-female directing team — I think [Payne and McKay] were looking and told me they picked the three people they wanted. I was chosen a long time ago because they asked me after the 1st season to come back and start the 2nd season.

But then I ended up doing the ending too, and I'm very happy about that, because it's a very emotional episode. Then the other two [episodes] were chosen by them, and then they told me they hired the best people for the job."
