Five Chickens

Requested by anonymous: Hey Hey! How about our 4 juniors boys from The Untamed, joined by a junior girl from the Nie clan (I think she could be Nie Huaisang's younger sister), when she saves their lives from a demon, but turns ugly during the fight. She is stubborn and so refuses their help, without realizing herself that the weapon that hit her was poisoned and she was in agony after a few days. But they manage to save her, repaying her for her earlier help. THX, have a nice day!❣️❣️❣️

Part 2

"She'll do great, she knows what she's doing." Wuxian was teasing Huaisang, with a stupid grin as he watched you and all other younglings march out into the fields. Huaisang's eyes remained trained on you and he didn't even react to Wuxian's comment, much to the man's dismay. He was right, Huaisang knew that much, and yet he couldn't help but worry about you.

This would be your first official hunt, dressed in the dark grey robes that represented your clan and a large saber in hand. Unlike him, you were much more interested in fighting and swords. If anything, you were a carbon copy of your oldest brother, Mingjue. Only differences that you were a bit less aggressive, but in now way should you be angered. You had been hunting since you were 10 years old, a talent for tracking and killing demons that gained you the title of 'the little demon of Nie'. Yet, Huaisang was worried. He didn't want to lose another on of his family members.

"It went this way!" Jing Ling's voice was booming loud, anyone near could hear it and in turn also creatures. Sizhui and Zizhen were trying to shush the boy, but getting Jingyi quiet was another task.

"I know it went this way, I'm not blind! But can you see anything here, stupid?" Jingyi screamed back before all of them froze when something loud growled behind them. With a turn of their heads, the cause of this became clear.

They supposed it was a man, but it's body was disfigured and broken. Black smoke surrounded it, pulling attention away from the obvious dangling arm and broken leg.

"Uh... demon?" Zizhen stuttered and the others nodded before jumping when the creature let out a loud roar. They ran in an instance, avoiding trees as they were chased.

"I thought there were only bunnies!" Jingyi screamed loudly as he jumped over some fallen trees, daring to look back and only screaming when he noticed how close the demon was to him. Curses flew from his mouth, which made Sizhui frown at the breaking of the rules. With another roar, they all dared to look back before slowing down. Someone had jumped on the demon, sword slashing away at the enemy as they avoided the attacks. The quartet slowed down, staring at their savior as they fought. Then, with a final blow, the demon crashed to the ground, smoke completely gone and a girl straddling the body with the sword impaled into it's chest.

"You guys run like chickens." The comment was unexpected, so much so that Sizhui couldn't help but laugh while others stared in shock. You got up, pulling your saber out of the demon's body and watching as it turned to ashes before you walked closer to the quartet. It was then that they realized that you were Nie (Y/n), if not for the saber it was for the smirk you wore that sent shivers down their spines and reminded them of Nie Mingjue. You walked closer before pausing right in front of them, saber now thrown over your shoulder as you placed your other hand on your hip.

'You're hurt." Sizhui noticed the long scratch on your leg, cutting through your robes and revealing your leg along with the wound. You followed his gaze, looking at your leg with confusion before sighing softly as you tore a lower part of your robes before lifting the robes up to your hip.

"Cover up!" Jin Ling and Jingyi yelled in sync, all of them turning away from seeing you practically naked or at least like they believed. You paused for a few seconds before rolling your eyes, continuing to wrapping your leg to keep the blood loss to a minimum. Then you lowered your robes once again and looking back at the boys.

"Let's find something else to hunt, you chickens." You spoke as you brushed past them, walk turning into a sprint as you got sight of another creature. The four boys couldn't help but follow, although it was with slight hesitance in their steps.

"Oi, chickens!" There rang a collective groan from the group as they noticed you approaching, or more specifically from Jin Ling and Jingyi as they all turned to face your approaching figure.

"Stop calling us that!" Jingyi called out, clearly annoyed as he glared at you. You didn't react to the glare, instead you just smiled at Sizhui as he greeted you. He was probably the only once that didn't mind the nickname too much, he was used to worse kind of nicknames at this point (Wuxian being the cause of this).

You stopped once you were next to the group, sighing loudly before looking at the object in Sizhui's hands. It was a child's toy, yet he held it with such care and you couldn't help but wonder why.

"Did you buy that here?" You asked, pointing at the object and Sizhui looked down before nodding. He opened his hands fully to reveal the toy, which now was clearly shown to be a butterfly. It was pretty and reminded you of the toys that you had as a child, not that you cared much for those when you were young as you preferred to play with the swords of your brother.

"Did you go to the doctor for your wounds?" Zizhen asked and you smiled at the boy, but shook your head nonetheless. You didn't see the point, it was a simple flesh wound and you were used to those.

"Are you sure that's okay?" "Yeah, I cleaned and wrapped it. It'll be fine, nothing I haven't had before." You said with another smile, not flinching in the slightest as you prodded at the wound before shrugging it off.

"What about you? You sprained your ankle, no?" You turned to Jin Ling and he looked surprised that you knew that before nodding at you, yet not speaking up besides a thank you. Right when you were about to say something else, you heard a loud shout from behind you as a man walked by with a cart full of snacks. With wide eyes, you carefully watched the sugar covered fruits and your hand was quick to move to your money pouch. You raced to the man, buying five sugar covered fruit skewers before handing the vendor his money. Then you made your way back to the group.

"Here you go, enjoy!" You smiled as you handed out the skewers to the quartet, who all took it with slight hesitation before all taking a bite. In a second, all their faces lit up as they continued to eat to the treat. You followed, carefully biting into the fruit and listening to the small crack of the sugar. With a small, you chewed on the candy with a happy sigh. It was nice to eat some sugar once in a while, even if it was super unhealthy for you. Only halfway through the apple, you suddenly felt a pain in your abdomen that tore right through your whole body. The apple clattered to the ground, shattering on impact while you held your stomach in pain as your vision blurred before turning dark.

Sizhui was the first to react as he watched you go down, his own treat joining yours on the ground as he gently laid you down. You were unconscious, but clearly still in pain as your brows furrowed. Black lines were rising above your collar, stopping right underneath your jawline and the lines were slightly raised up.

"She needs a doctor." Sizhui said and Jing Ling, surprisingly, was first to lift you up on his back, making sure that your arms were wrapped around his shoulders and that he had a firm grasp on your legs before he turned his head to the group. Zizhen was the first to speak again, leading the way to the closest doctor. Surely the doctor must've been shocked to see them run in, all of you from rather major clans, but he was quick to move as he noticed your state.

Your skin had turned pale, the black marks had grown more noticeable and your eyes were flickering open and closed every few seconds. When you were laid down on the bed, the doctor was quick to check your state as the others watched patiently for whatever was happening. The doctor was quick to start treatment, not saying a single thing as he treated you with various things like liquid medicines or cream. It took only a couple of minutes before he finished, sighing loudly before making his way over to the quartet.

"How long has she been like that?" "We don't know, we only saw her today. Before today it has been two weeks or so." Sizhui answered and the doctor nodded, jotting it down before handing them a bottle with medicine pills.

"She needs this every day, one in the morning and one in the evening." He then said, looking at them with a stern gaze while Jingyi took ahold of the medicine.

"She also needs a lot of rest for the poison to get out of her system, I even recommend helping her by making her spiritual energy circulate faster. How you do that is your and her choice." The doctor continued before turning away and continuing his previous work while Jin Ling walked back to you. You were lifted again, once again laying on his back as he made sure that you wouldn't fall.

Then all of you made your way back to the hotel, where they could hopefully warn some of the adults of your condition.

"I am not a child..." You spoke as your medicine was handed to you along with a cup of water by Jingyi, who almost looked like he didn't really want to be here. Nonetheless, you took the pill and swallowed it with a heavy sigh. Being bedridden was not your style, you hated being stuck in the same room from sunrise to sundown. The quartet visited every day to take care of you and Xichen came along every two to three days to help you to help you with your spiritual energy. Right now, the black veins had gone back down, now only near your wound like any normal infection, and it didn't hurt anymore thanks to the faster healing rate due to your spiritual energy.

"Then you would've gone to the doctor when needed. Besides, you're fourteen." Jingyi said and you pouted at him before laying back down. You pulled your blanket up before looking back towards Jingyi, patting the spot beside you. Jingyi gave you a short glare, turning around with a huff and you sighed.

"Chicken." You whispered, to which Jingyi gave you another glare before laying down anyway. You smiled at your victory, leaning your head against his shoulder before sighing again.

"Thank you for the help. You and the other boys, of course." You whispered again, but Jingyi didn't answer you and it just remained quiet in the room. Until the other three appeared, all pausing as they saw Jingyi lay beside you. You lifted your head, patting the bed softly again and causing the three to join you by sitting down near your legs while Zizhen moved to sit against the wall on your other side.

"How are you?" "Well, I'm bored. So, did you bring something to eat?" You asked, staring at Sizhui with curious eyes. He reacted by simply pulling out a pouch and opening it to reveal some hard candies that you had asked for. You sat back up, happily grabbing one and popping it into your mouth with a happy smile.

"You're the best!" You laid back down and chewed happily, laying your head against Jingyi's shoulder once again. The boys talked and you just listened to them with a smile, laughing at the comments they made. It was under weird circumstances, but you were glad you had met them and became friends.

With those thoughts, you drifted to sleep with a smile on your face.

[Sims4] MDZS - Lanling Jin - Golden Carp Tower 金鳞台

Hi All, I'm back with a new build for Sims 4. This is the The Golden Carp Tower of Lanling Jin Sect!

I have received a lot of love and requests to download the previous 2 MDZS Sims4 Build series. I'm sorry for my late reply, as I rarely open my Tumblr.

I have replied to all the messages, and for you new readers who somehow discovered my Tumblr, don't be shy and drop me a DM for the download link. Please expect a delay in reply, as I rarely open my Tumblr.

Now that I'm back and have some free time, I finally got to re-visit my Sims4. Continuing the MDZS / the untamed build series, here I present you the residence of Jin Sect in Lanling City. The Golden Carp Tower (金鳞台, Jīnlín Tái; lit. Golden Scale Tower; also: Jinlin Tower, Koi Tower, Carp Tower) - source https://modao-zushi.fandom.com/

There's not much reference to Golden Carp Tower from the animation or the live-action series. However, watching the series, I feel that Lan Ling Jin's residence is very beautiful, a bit feminine, with a lot of flowers. As the name suggests "Tower", Lan Ling Jin's residence should be a tall building with long enormous stairs.

I found a beautiful castle built by one of the Sims 4 players, and I worked around and renovated most of it to suit the style of Lan Ling Jin's residence that I remember from the animation and live-action series.

THE BUILD

Overall look from above: LanLing Jin's Golden Carp Tower

Due to limited capabilities in Sims 4, I tried hard to fit in ideal stairs to the castle. I am proud of the end result. Dominated with yellow gold and light green, the Golden Carp Tower looks elegant with a huge garden and outdoor space. The tower stood on a 64 x 64 lot.

THE ENTRANCE

The entrance with big stairs is the highlight. With Jin Sect's emblem

BUILDING MAP

The 1st-floor situation is giving a big outdoor area in the middle. From the entrance, you can walk straight to the main building where the throne of the sect leader is located and the main room and house for the main family. On the sides, you'll find supporting buildings, which each have their own function.

GARDEN LANDSCAPE

The vast beautiful garden will greet you right through the high stairs and gate before entering the main building.

THE THRONE

Main building situation, where the leader of Jin Sect sits and welcomes important guests.

On the right side, we have some leisure space and a dining room which then extends to lounge space. Upstairs we have a bedroom

Kitchen

We have a pond and a nice creative space on the left side of the main building.

Little Library

Little Pond was created by Jin Zixuan for Jiang Yanli when the latter missed Lotus Pier so much Jin Zixuan created the pond to mimic Lotus Pier. How sweet :)

Dormitory

SURPRISE BASEMENT

Down below the Jin's Sect leader's throne, we have another throne and space for different occasions. This is where the party happens, a beautiful garden hall.

On the left side, we have a study room, where the teacher will lead the learning of Jin's sect students.

On the right side, we have a material arts practice space.

CHILL & RELAXING SPACE

Jin Sect, as one of the wealthiest families in the series, of course, needs a place for leisure with fancy facilities. We have an onsen with a nice bathroom and lockers next to the material arts dojo room. It's a nice location for the students to recover and relax after practice.

THE CULTIVATION AREA

Lastly, since I will never be able to let the magic stuff not be embedded in the house. For me, the magic furniture really completes the MDZS / The Untamed Universe in the Sims. This is where the magic and rituals happen.

BEDROOMS

Bedrooms, bathrooms, and private study room.

That's all pretty much the overall look of Lan Ling Jin's Golden Carp Tower from the Mo Dao Zu Shi / The Untamed / Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation series. Of course, there are a lot of rooms, like the main bedrooms, more bedrooms, and the academy area, which I haven't put in here. MDZS Juniors Headcannon - Reader who can talk to animals

Jiang Cheng, Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian, 3 Zuns, and Seniors

Lán Sīzhuī:

When Lán Sīzhuī first met you, he didn't judge you at all. He treated you with respect and didn't think you were that different from others even though you could talk to animals. When Lán Sīzhuī first heard the rumours about the powerful cultivator that could talk to animals, he was amazed and always wanted to meet you. After he met you, he knew that the rumours about you being a lunatic were completely false and that you were just misunderstood. What he loves about you is that you are always considerate of others, and that you always put others first before yourself. He also loves that you get along easily with his adopted Father, Wèi Wúxiàn. You get along with Wèi Wúxiàn because you guys are both misunderstood and you both want best for Lán Sīzhuī. Even though you get along with Wèi Wúxiàn well, Lán Sīzhuī sometimes gets annoyed because you learn shameless things from Wèi Wúxiàn and when you're out with him and Lán Sīzhuī. He feels like a third wheel sometimes because of how well you get along with his father. When you guys hear rumors about you, Lán Sīzhuī would always tell you to ignore them and always keep calm, and don't do anything you'll regret.

Lán Jǐngyí:

When Lán Jǐngyí first heard about about you. He was really scared of you because some rumors would say that you were a crazy lunatic, other rumors would say that you were a ghost that had been sent to punish them, and another rumor that he heard about you is that you were an insane cultivator that practice demonic cultivation and your teacher was Xuē Yáng. But of course all those rumors were completely false. When Lán Jǐngyí first met you, he was terrified but then he realized that you were just a regular cultivator that could talk to animals. He loves that you are always confident no matter what people talk about you. But what he really hates is that sometimes your confidence can causes you guys to get in trouble. When he still hears the rumors about you, he would always tell people to stop making false claims about you and that you're just a regular cultivator like them.

Jīn Líng:

When Jīn Líng first met you, he thought you were insane and crazy. But then once Fairy ran towards you, he realized that all the rumor and lies that cultivators had told him in the past were completely wrong because if Fairy likes you then there's nothing wrong with you. He loves that you and fairy are able to communicate with each other. He would always pretend that he doesn't want to know what you guys are talking about even though he secretly wishes to know. He does get jealous of you because of the bond you and Fairy share. He gets very jealous because you are able to communicate with her and he wishes that he was also able to talk to her. When rumors are spread about you, he would threaten them and would demand them to stop talking about you, and leave you alone.

Ōuyáng Zizhēn:

When Ōuyáng Zizhēn first heard about you, he didn't believe the rumors because they were just stories about you, and the stories were too crazy to be true. After he met you, he knew that the rumors were false and there wasn't anything unusual about you besides the fact you can talk to animals. He loves that you're very intelligent, and he admires you for your knowledge and skill in cultivating. What he dislikes is that you sometimes tend to wander and then he would always find you in the same place. You're always with the animals and you always try to sneak them with you. If people talk bad about you, Ōuyáng Zizhēn would always be polite but he would have a very annoyed tone. He would tell people to stop spreading rumors about you and he would always say the positives about you to show them that you aren't a lunatic.

A/N Not really a story, more like some compilation of moments with them. Hope it's to everyone's liking :)

"How about your uncle?" "You're crazy." Jin Ling scoffed at you and you whined as you let your head fall back against the wooden frame before leaning it sideways to lay on Jingyi's leg instead.

"Wuxian-ge would say yes..." Sizhui commented as he looked up from his book and slid back slightly, making Zizhen jump slightly as he was leaning against Sizhui's legs. You nodded in acknowledgement before turning around and whacking Jin Ling, who flinched before whacking you back.

"Him and my brother would totally love it!" You laughed softly before looking at Zizhen interrupted the conversation. "I honestly don't think this is a good idea..." He said and you sighed before nodding, leaning your head back and shrugging.

"Alright then... Chicken~" You teased and Zizhen turned red before crossing his arms with a pout while Sizhui tried to calm the atmosphere slightly.

"So you want to move my murder to my other uncle? Because that I can kind of agree to..." "That's my brother, kind of like him." You stated and Jin Ling groaned at you, cursing softly at the disagreement.

"Does your family not have problems?" He continued and you scoffed at him, looking up from Jingyi's leg.

"Oh, we have many problems... I mean, parents dead, Mingjue-ge dead and the Huaisang-ge is barely holding our clan together when he can do so much better. Honestly, not that different from you, huh?" You gave him a wink and Jin Ling rolled his eyes, pillow thrown your way that you skillfully dodged.

"Same here." Sizhui commented and Jingyi quickly thew in a word as well with a smile, which made all of you turn to Zizhen. His eyes widened and he quickly shook his head at you.

"Mine's fine." "Eh, you'll get there." You commented, which earned you a hit to your head from Jingyi. "Don't curse him." You giggled at him before picking at your skirt.

"So... I'll ask?"

"What on earth is that?" The shock was clear in Zizhen's voice and the rest was seemingly just as shocked. You looked at the animal beside you before looking back at the rest.

"I have no clue! But look how cute!" You crouched down and took ahold of the beast's head and smushing it together with a large grin on your face.

"That is a predator." Sizhui commented as he got closer, pulling you away from the animal. You whined, making grabbing hands towards the animal and it was quick to follow you with careful steps. Sizhui paused and let go of you, letting you sit on the ground while the large animal came closer to you and sat down in front of you.

"Where did you find that tiger?" Jin Ling asked, making you turn your head before turning back to the supposed tiger. "So you're just a big kitty, huh?" You smiled as the cat purred at you while Jin Ling rolled his eyes, sighing loudly at you.

"How do you not know what a tiger is?" "I didn't study animals, I studied sabers and murder cases." You answered as you scratched the top of the tigers head.

"What's a good name for-" Leaning down slightly to check before continuing. "-guy?" You asked, looking back to the rest.

"Pudding!" Jingyi jumped in as he got closer, kneeling down and petting the animal as well. He was delighted when the animal purred again, pushing his head closer before flinching when he heard someone else approach.

"Oh, kitty~" Wuxian's voice rang out as he ran over, leaving a shocked Lan Zhan and Jiang Cheng. You just greeted the man with a happy smile before introducing him to Pudding, choosing that the name was just perfect for the tiger.

"So dogs are a no for that guy, but a murderous tiger is okay?" Jiang Cheng commented and you could hear someone laugh, assuming it was Jin Ling.

The library was empty except for the five of you, supposedly studying and yet failing so miserably. Well, you were anyway, the rest was doing fine. Instead you were staring at Sizhui, who was reading his work again while chewing on his fingernails. As if he sensed your gaze, he looked up at you before pulling his hand down with wide eyes.

"Is something wrong?" He asked and you chuckled, placing your chin in your hands with a grin.

"You're so cute it's distracting me." You laughed as you watched Sizhui go red, something that you a so loved to see.

"That's a good one." Jingyi commented and you scoffed. "What, going to use it on a Lan? They'll have a stroke." You joked and Jingyi shrugged as he closed the scroll that he was reading.

"Would be funny to watch." "You'd get whipped for that." Jin Ling pointed out with a raise of his eyebrows and you shook your hand at that statement. "They stopped that, remember? It's writing now." "That's so much worse." Jin Ling commented and you shrugged at him before looking at Sizhui again, who had opted to hide his face in his hands.

"Now that nobody's studying! I have an idea!" You said and everyone looked at you before Zizhen spoke up.

"That's dangerous." He said and you scoffed at him, throwing your pencil at him.

"Oh, shush."

"I can believe you just walked off!" Sizhui and Zizhen were shocked, Jin Ling disappointed and Jingyi was cackling. You were just confused.

"Yes? I walked away mid-conversation, so what? They were boring me to death and my survival instincts kicked in." You gave a shrug as you bit off the last piece from the fruit skewer before chewing on the stick itself out of habit.

"She's the mother of the sect leader! She's more important than you think?!" "I have Pudding." You smiled as you entered your room, the four boys pilling in after you. You sat yourself down and giggled again.

"I think she had smoke coming out of her ears, heh." You giggled to yourself as Jingyi sat next to you and Jin Ling on your other side. Jingyi leaned in slightly to whisper in your ear.

"You're the first who dared to do that." He said and you turned your head with a surprised look before smiling proudly. "Yeah, survival instinct my ass. It was nice knowing you." Jin Ling said and you laid your head down on his shoulder.

"Make sure everyone cries on my funeral?" You ask and Jin Ling nods, patting your hand that rested on his lap. You smiled and closed your eyes before sighing softly.

"Do you think she'll actually kill me?" You opened your eyes again to look at Sizhui, who shrugged.

"I think you're doomed."

Walking around, you tried to ignore the whispers as you held on to Jingyi's and Sizhui's arms, the other two not present at the moment. You didn't feel like talking, not after everything that went down at the temple. Someone you trusted and regarded as a brother killed your biological brother and your second brother had know this for years. Who would feel okay after all that, because you definitely didn't.

"Is she dating them or something?" A voice rang through as you walked to your room, but everyone ignored the comment as you continued. You barely registered entering your room or sitting down, not even when you were being wrapped in your sheets did it register. You felt numb, but that comment kept ringing in your head.

"Now, I know I should be in shock and all... but does everyone think that I'm dating you?" You asked, which made both boys freeze in their spots before bursting into laughter.

"Now that's a problem we can't avoid." Jingyi commented and you shrugged at him, not really minding it.

"You call it a problem. I call it a solution. Guess who won't get marriage proposals?" You gave a tired smile and Jingyi scoffed before sitting down beside you on the bed, pulling you down to lay down. Sizhui soon joined you and it was then that your walls broke down. Tears started streaming down your face as you clung to both of them, not being able to stop the waterfalls. They didn't seem to care for the wet spot on their clothes as they comforted you and when the two others arrived, Jin Ling just as teary as you, they just joined into the pile. You felt slightly better when you were not the only one crying, but even if you were it would be okay with your friends around you.

The adults later found you all huddled up together, clinging to each other while you slept. Their little chicks.

another small drabble because i can’t stop laughing about this idea and sassy jinyi. also props to that one anon! everyone not being part of the lan clan is def his punching back. i’ve been laughing for 10 minutes straight!

Jin Ling x Reader ft. Lan Jinyi | Not requested, loving crack lowkey?

It was the lantern festival in Lanling and you of course were there. Many different lanterns were put on display, some where lit, painting the evening into warm golden and reddish lights, where as others were for sale. The streets were bustling with so many different people across them. Salesmen tried to get attention by selling their lanterns to the passing people, many couples were also on the streets buying and letting them fly high in the sky or putting them into the water with their wishes of love, health and fortune written on them..

You were no different. You came here with Jin Ling, initially he had asked you to come along with him. He wasn’t particularly well at expressing that he wanted you to join him this evening but you eventually understood and went along. Both of you did not speak but it wasn’t awkward either, your hands occassionally brushing against one another. Where as he was silently following you, admiring every step you took, you were busy admiring every single lantern hand made by the salesmen. You sprinted from one stall to another, your light purple hanfu brushing against others. Oh how you’d love to buy a lantern and would like to let it go up to the sky.

Those thoughts did have a certain someone in mind as well as your eyes peaked over at Jin Ling who had been quiet the whole time. “ Let’s buy a lantern and write our wishes on them. ” You voice bright and loud over the noise made in the busy street. Your hand grabbed his and you dragged him across the market, to the nearest stall before you began writing.

' Be happy and carry laughter all the time. ‘

It was a simple wish, below average but it is what she wanted, to be happy. From the corner of her eye she could see him peaking over before placing the lantern onto his side. “Don’t peak, or it will not be granted.“

“ Your wish is so simple. You should wish for good health or money. “ Rulan retorted making you snort slightly. “ What can happiness buy you? “ He asked but you simply rolled your eyes, as you watched him write down his words. “ Happiness can’t buy you anything, but if you have it, what can bring you down?“ You retorted to his words.

‘ Harmonious family and prosperous life. ‘

They caught you a little off guard, not expecting to read such words but you knew better. You and Jin Ling were at the same age, you grew up with him. You were part of the Yunmeng Clan, being a dispicle under his uncle clan leader Jiang Cheng but you knew him so well. You stood by his side when others bullied him. Perhaps you did not quite like him when you first encountered him, when he was being rude to you too for standing up for him. How dare a girl could defend him making him look weak in front of others but soon, the older you grew the friendship alongside feelings started to blossom slowly but steadily.

Both of you never really admitted that you started liking one another, but the countless bickering between the two was more than enough to proof that, the stolen glances that were always pointed out by the junior quartet and the small outings like today were proof enough.

Just before the ink was dry he carried the lantern over to the river side for both of you to let it fly and make your wishes come true. You were looking at him and he was looking at you before both of you blushed slightly and followed the lantern with your eyes, letting it go from your hands.

You did not expect to bump into the rest of your small friend circle but they had spottet the two of you and obviously had to plan some mischief. Unbeknowst to the two of you your eyes met again as they slowly approached but were halted by Lan Sizhui right before you bravely confessed.

“ I like you!“

You spoke with confidence, without a problem seen in the words. Your smile could outshine the lanterns that night, that was what Jin Ling was thinking as he shyly smiled but you knew he did like you too. He was terrible with expressing his feelings, so instead he took your hand. Quietly telling you what he could not put into words.

“ Do better. Aim higher.“ A voice you so knew well, who belonged to your friend Lan Jinyi did cut through the moment you and Rulan shared. Of course his words were accompanied by laughter of the rest. Jinyi always found a way to sass someone, even his own friends. No one was safe, but it was something you liked about him. He was the jokester among the five of you. You too, had to laugh not giving Jinyi the chance of embarrassing the two of you, especially knowing Jin Lings temper and patience. You accepted his challenge and spoke again, pulling Rulan closer with your hand until he close enough to feel the warmth radiation of his body. “Alright, ----“ Only the bustling of the busy street was heard in the short silence before three words fell from your lips.

“ ---- I love you! “

Your smile matched your eyes and your sincere words. Sure, they were dangerous to be said, who dared to simply say such words at such a young age but you did indeed love him. Much to your surprise you saw a triumphant smile on Jin Lings features as he squeezed your hand lovingly before his attention fell on Jinyi, running after him leaving you all in laughter as you joined the rest of your friends and spending the night together, eating delicious foods, never leaving Jin Ling’s side and he never left yours.

There were puppets! “Don’t inhale the poisonous mist Y/N!” Sizhui says while covering his face in just the right time while you inhaled some since you were the closets among the 4 ( Junior quartet UwU ).. “Y/N!!” You were late to cover your face but you turned back and saw a puppet aiming at Sizhui you run as fast as you could and used your self as a shield to protect your friend. “Y-Y/N..” You were bleeding from your shoulder, it was quite deep and a massive amount of blood loss. “What do we do..” Jin Ling says still horrified “We have to treat her! But.. There is no physician around in this area and she will most likely die of blood loss and the mist..” Says Zizhen. Sizhui hugs you closer to him and brings you to a safer place while he rips his sleeve and used it to clean and wound while Jingyi and Jin Ling bring him some water. “What can we expect from the top student! He can do first aid though.” Says Jingyi, Sizhui just laughs a little while he was done treating the wound. “Jingyi I will cook some food when we get back. Tell senior Wei and Hanguang-Jun.” Jingyi replies with a “Mn.” And all hurry up to go to Gusu while Sizhui is carrying you on his arms.

“Hanguang-Jun! Wei-Qianbei!” The 4 scream even if it is prohibited. “Y-Y/N.. She..” As the ONLY girl in the juniors YOU were supposed to be protected but then you were always the one who literally saves their soft behinds from getting whipped or slashed. But this time it was uncalled for.. “Take her inside. We will ask a doctor to treat her wound.” they all waited outside until the doctor went out and told them what they must do “I had already fed her the antidote for the poison, all she needs to do is rest for some days since this type of poison drains spiritual energy and weakens the body.. Assign anybody close to her and whom she trusts to take care of her for a couple of days until she feels better. By then her fever will be gone and by then NO night hunts till you boys are ready to protect a girl from ever having this kind of a serious injury!” the doctor points her finger at the 4 “Yes ma’am.. And thank you.” They reply politely as the doctor packs her stuff and changes your robes. “I changed her robes by now she should be sleeping. A lot of blood was lost so was the spiritual energy.. No need to transfer though, the medicine will make her better.” then she left. Sizhui couldn’t sleep the whole night thinking on what he could’ve done to protect you from being hurt.. He felt guilty.. After a week you still couldn’t move your arm.. You were in his care and often cried tears when he changed your bandages “I-I’m so sorry!!” Sizhui panics since the doctors have a day-off “I-It hurts..” Your voice sounds so.. dry.. “Here drink some tea..” The tea was warm and it soothe you a little but the pain is still there.. He rubs your back and you hug him with your other arm. You hiss slightly when he applied medicine on your wound “It will get better.. Don’t worry Y/N..” Jingyi, Zizhen, and Jin Ling has never seen you shed a tear! Or worse.. Cry.. It was worse when you had to sit up and lie down, so of course every time that happens you cry and no wonder why your eyes are so red and puffy. “We’re sorry Y/N!!” The 3 kneeled in front of you while bowing their heads. “H-hey.. It’s okay.. No need to kneel..” You say while wiping your tears. the cut was quite deep and it has only been a week since the juniors can hear your cries when Sizhui changes your bandages. Wei Wuxian already scolded them and they were punished ( except for Sizhui ) to copy all the 4,019 rules 20 times ( 80,380 rules to copy for each... ) You thought the punishment was too harsh bet nevertheless Lan Qiren instructed you to get better. After a month the pain was unbearable.. the doctor said you are getting better but your hand could barely move.. ( yes time skip ) After 3 months you finally got better but they didn’t know yet of course, they were still copying rules and Sizhui was making medicine for your wound. “Sizhui!!” He looked at you with eyes widening “Y/N! Stay in bed! Your wound-” He was interrupted by the strong hug you gave him ( I assume reader IS a Lan sorry if I am wrong ). He hugs you back and checks your wound “Does it hurt?” There was not much of a scar since the medicine was working well but it took a long time.. But atleast you were better! By now the 3 only copied half of the rules but you persuaded Lan Qiren to lift the punishment and he did “Fine.. But they will protect you since it was their fault too.” They thank you for saving their hands. Wei Wuxian ran over to you and hugged you that you almost fell “Y/N!!!!!! How are you feeling?! Is your wound better?! How is my favorite girl child?!” You laugh “Wait.. pfft.. Girl child? And I feel better.” You reply holding your laugh “GOOD! Looks like my Favorite child took care of you well!” You nod even if you cried many times ( He only saw the shoulder not half the body incase your wondering ) “But you cried many times! happen?” “NO!! Well.. Not like that..” You both are a blushing mess because something did happen ( He confessed but I was lazy to write it i’m sorry! So yall basically BF and GF ) “We are dating now Wei-Qianbei.” Sizhui announces ( oml i’m off topic no? ) and the 4.. Wait.. No.. Sorry 5! Celebrate “You know we can plan a wedding-” You cut him off and “I’m too young!!” Your face was red as a tomato by now and they all laugh and you were still in his comforting arms.. He is definitely gonna think about this often now.

JIN LING HAVING A CRUSH HEADCANONS

* so you are a healer right. The first time you and him meet is when Lan Sizhui had to basically for him to get some help after beating him (badly) in training.

* So he pouts his way in because real men just suffer with the pain and his ego was BADLY hurt not by losing, but by needing to get help.

* He walks in with a pout calling out “hello?” Hoping that no one would hear him or see him as he peeked around because he didn’t want help.

* “Hello?” You greeted back, with a small smile on your face and he’s just like o.O :( I have to get help :(

* You go up to him “how can I help you?” And he’s just stuttering like “h-Hel-p?” Like who needs help? Not him ofc. “Your nose is bleeding, let me help.”

* So you sit him down while he’s internally freaking out because here’s this pretty girl he’s meeting and he doesn’t know what to do

* So he tells you a bogus story of how he got hurt in this epic story, when in reality he tripped and hit his nose on a rock, causing the bleed.

* You would giggle at his heroic story not really believing it but just kinda rolling with it and his mind is like “aw yeah she thinks I’m a baddie. Her. Giggle. Is. Cute. Why. Is. My. Heart. Doing. This.”

* So you help him and stop his nose from bleeding and he’s like “yeah pfft I’m glad to be out of here. So I can go back and fight.” His insides are like “:( :( I have to leave.”

* He still will refuse to get help when needed but he’s now a little less reluctant to go. If someone else gets hurt, he’s gonna come with them because “they might cry and need some manly encouragement.” But really he just wants to see you.

* He starts to act a little more Macho whenever he sees you. like he’ll try and stand up a little straighter and puff his chest out (lmao)

* He doesn’t ask you on a date instead he tells you that Lan Sizhui and Lan Lingyi and him are going to the market and you need to come with them because you’re going to crazy if you only spend your time in one area.

* The whole time - i mean the WHOLE time - he stays near you telling you “it’s a mans job to protect women and since no one else will do it, I am doing it. Trust me I wish I could be with them.” when you ask him why he hasn’t run off with his friends yet. Jin Ling just wants to be by your side tbh ngl.

* You begin to look at hairpins because they are pretty and Jin Ling just kinda stands back a bit trying to look annoyed as you look at them.

* You find this really pretty pink one, with blue and teal and green and your gushing over it like

Y/N: Jin Ling wouldn’t this look beautiful in my hair?

Jin Ling: How would I know I’m not a girl. If you like it so much get it.

Y/N: no, no. I am afraid something like that is out of my price range. But thank you sir for letting me look.

* that doesn’t sit right with our homeboy. Yes it is a little expensive but he would do anything to see the joy in your eyes as you handled it.

* You sadly walk away from the booth, meeting up with the other two as they finally found you.

* It’s basic small talk like “what did you find?” “Did you buy anything?” When you realize that Jin Ling isn’t by your side.

* You turn around, wondering where he was since he was following you like a puppy when you see him approach you with a small cloth in his hand.

* “Here.” He says and basically shoves the cloth in your hand, opening it up to see the hairpin you were just talking about.

* You gasp a little because honey this wasn’t cheap and Jin Ling probably took some of his uncles $$$ to get you smth while the gang was out and about. (It’s not probably, it’s what he actually did and is fully expecting to be chewed out when he gets back & is already thinking of excuses.)

* Jin Ling just goes,”It’s just what anyone would do if they saw a friend in need. Don’t take it too personally.” But his skeletal system is S h A k I n G because you are so happy.

* You talk about the hairpin on the way back, saying that your mother bought one to give to you and you wanted to do the same for your kid

* & of course Jin Ling says “you can’t be sure you’re gonna have a girl. I’m lucky I turned out the way I am because I get to use my father’s sword 🗡.”

* Lan Sizhui and Lan Jingyi exchange looks because now they know what’s going on and Jin Ling glares at them because he knows they know. ((They def are gonna tell Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian.) Lan Wangji could honesty care less but Wei Wuxian is ready to clown Jin Ling until he confesses.)

Requested by anonymous: hi hi lovie!! i love your writings so much!! they are so freaking good!! could i make request please? can i request a jiang cheng x fem!reader who’s a healer from the lan clan? she mainly is brought along on most missions, acting as the head doctor/healer of most of the clans; almost as good as wen qing. reader interacts with jiang cheng a lot bc jin ling is always getting injured. reader has the motherly/older-sister vibe; always taking care and letting some of the students (mostly sizhui and jingyi) sneak into their infirmary at night for snacks or comfort. jiang cheng and reader? OBLIVIOUS HOPELESS ROMANTIC AND TSUNDERE. nie huaisang, lan xichen, jin guangyao, and wangxian all bully them for their stupidity </3 even the juniors try getting them together,,, jin ling accidentally calls the reader auntie in front of jiang cheng,,, so soft for jiang cheng…i love

You stared at the boys in front of you, trying to wrap your head around the story they just told. Mostly you were confused at how Jin Ling happened to be the victim since the boy was usually the one to not get injured. Nonetheless, you quickly told them to sit down before grabbing everything.

"Alright. Sizhui, hold this on his arm and put a lot of pressure on it. I have to get some herbs first, I'll be back in a few minutes." You said as you handed the towel to Sizhui before walking out of the room.

You looked through your stash, not much further from your practice and got the necessary herbs before walking back too your practice, only to be stopped halfway by Xichen, Mingjue and Jiang Cheng.

"Clan leaders." You bowed your head at them and Xichen gave you a warm smile.

"This is (y/n), she's our most skilled healer." He explained to the other two, who nodded in response.

"I apologize, but I have to goo back to my practice. Jin Ling got hurt." You said, the last part a bit more to Jiang Cheng. Jiang Cheng didn't seem to react at first, but it seemed to hit him afterwards at what you said.

"Jin Ling got hurt?" "Yes, I don't remember the whole story though. Something happened with a sword and a cliff, I couldn't follow well." You explained before quickly bowing and running off.

You entered your practice again, staring at the boys who were eating snacks.

"You stole my food stock..." You mumbled and Jingyi smiled happily.

"You're lucky I like you guys." You commented to which they all smiled brightly (except for Jin Ling, who was still in pain of course). You stepped closer to Jin Ling and crouched in front of him as you started to inspect and treat the wound quickly.

"Will it scar?" Jingyi asked and you nodded shortly as you continued to wrap the bandage around his arm.

"Definitely. You should start making up a story to tell to others." You joked as you looked up to Jin Ling.

"Battled a giant demon dog!" Jingyi shouts and you can't help but laugh.

"Those don't walk around anymore, a-Yi." "But it'd be awesome!" He commented again before taking a bite of his (your) food. You rolled your eyes as you finished up the bandaging before getting up.

"How about a wolf instead?" You commented as you started to wash your hands in the bowl of water while listening to Jingyi whine. You could hear Jin Ling cuss at Jingyi while Zizhen just laughed and you saw Sizhui shake his head with a smile.

"Don't come back here too often." You said with a smile as you put everything away again.

"Now, out." You said with a smile, pointing at the door. They all quickly ran out, Jingyi managing to grab some food before leaving.

Despite that, they somehow managed to land in your practice every week. It was mostly Jin Ling who got hurt and you learned that Jin Ling was extremely unlucky and unhandy. A combination that usually doesn't go well. You spend way more time with the junior quartet, because they also came by just to hide from lessons or just to get some snacks (which you now bought double from what you usually bought).

Having Jin Ling in your practice constantly also meant that Jiang Cheng came over more often, usually to bring Jin Ling home/to his room since Jin Ling always fell asleep at the practice. Sometimes, he stayed a bit longer and you got to talk to him a bit more.

You then, of course, started to develop a crush on the man.

You were sure that it was obvious, the snickering of Jingyi said enough. Even Sizhui couldn't help but smile every time Jingyi was snickering while Zizhen tried to make them quiet down.

But of course, the visits didn't stop. Jin Ling was back again every week, joined by his friends of course. But this week was the worst.

Jin Ling was laying on the bed, leg propped up as you tried to stop the bleeding while trying to talk to Sizhui about what had happened.

"We were practicing and the sword broke." Sizhui explained and you turned your head while holding pressure on the leg.

"You got a sword in his leg?" You asked and Sizhui nodded before you turned back to Jin Ling.

"Ever heard of practice sword? You know, the wooden one." You said and he looked away in shame, not answering the sarcastic remark. You started to remove the pressure before getting a needle.

"Sizhui, go get his uncle." You said as you started to stitch the wound, after putting a cloth in Jin Ling's mouth so he wouldn't break his teeth. It took awhile and Jin Ling had passed out from the pain earlier, you couldn't blame the poor boy. Jiang Cheng arrived just as you finished the stitching, eyes cast on the cut as well as all the blood on your hands.

"Good, you're here." You said as you got up, cleaning your hands once more in the basin of water, which had already turned red. Once your hands were clean, you took bandages from the table and started to wrap it around his leg.

"He won't be able to walk for awhile, so please make sure he doesn't. I know how stubborn your family can get. He'll also need to take certain medicines every 2 hours or so for 3 to 4 days." You said before glancing at Jiang Cheng, who was still staring at his nephew and you could spot worry in his eyes.

"He's fine, don't worry too much. You're free to stay until he wakes up." You got up again when you finished wrapping Jin Ling's leg and Jiang Cheng sat down near the bed, eyes now cast towards the broken sword pieces that you had pulled out of the wound.

"What happened?" "The sword broke and hit his leg. These boys don't seem to know the consequences of practicing with actual swords." You replied with a chuckle as you grabbed some tea, offering a cup to Jiang Cheng who gratefully accepted it.

"Is getting hurt also something that runs in your family?" You asked and he looked up, shrugging softly.

"I mean, you got hurt pretty often as well. My teacher healed you quite often." You joked and you could see the wheels turning in his head before it seemed to click.

"You were that girl always watching from the side?" He asked and you nodded, smiling brightly at the thought that he remembered you. You continued to talk and for the first time, he actually tried to hold up the conversation as well.

From then on, everything seemed to take a turn.

Jiang Cheng would greet you if he saw you and sometimes he would converse in conversation , but those conversations weren't very long most of the time. Sometimes his friends (especially Huaisang and Wuxian) were with him and they often gave you a smile, but you could see the twinkle in their eyes. Sometimes the other leaders were with him, Xichen and Guangyao often gave you a sweet smiles, and you couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy every time. Even their smile seemed to hide a certain mischief. You were well aware that they all knew by now, after all Wangji's blunt comments about 'you staring at Jiang Cheng like a puppy in love' (and Wuxian and Huaisang's snickering after said comment) usually did the trick.

Now, they would always approach you while dragging Jiang Cheng behind them. They would start a conversation, trying to get Jiang Cheng to join the conversation at all cost while trying to not make it obvious (and failing miserably in your opinion). Jiang Cheng didn't seem to notice however and just curtly answered the questions thrown his way. He didn't seem particularly happy when he was near you, frown permanently shown on his face as he stood near you as he waited to leave the conversation. It was something you were quite annoyed by. Not because of him, but rather the fact that he was forced to meet you by his friends. So you asked them to stop and they did, much to their annoyance.

But you did see him a few more times again, mostly for Jin Ling's checkups. He'd just sit in the corner, staring as you cleaned his nephew's wound.

"A-jiě?" Jin Ling spoke in a whisper and you glanced up to him, giving him a small nod.

"What is it?" You whispered back and he glanced at his uncle before getting a bit closer to you.

"Uncle is staring at you..." "Don't be ridiculous A-Ling." You said, flicking his forehead softly with a disapproving chuckle before continuing to clean his wound. The boy couldn't help but smile a bit, something you couldn't help but smile in return to. Seeing the boy smile was still something new and it didn't happen that often, so you were always happy when you did see him smile.

"I'm sure about it, a-jiě. He has that look in his eyes." Jin Ling said and you looked up again, hands freezing in place before you took a glance at Jiang Cheng as well. His gaze was focused to the two of you, but you suddenly did notice his eyes shifting to you every few seconds as they lingered on your form.

"Well, a-Ling. You might be right for once." You commented, a small smirk appearing on your face to which Jin Ling smiled again.

When you finished cleaning and rebandaging Jin Ling's leg, you asked Jiang Cheng to wait for a second while Jin Ling limped out.

"You know, Jin Ling told me something." You said and he looked at you in confusion, waiting for you to continue.

"He said you were staring at me. I don't think so.... Unless you were?" You teased, eyes moving to his figure and smiling slightly when you noticed how his ears had turned red slightly as he stared in front of him.

"I'll see you later, I have to collect some stuff." You said before walking off, leaving the man standing in front of your practice.

You didn't see him for a few days after that and you couldn't help but feel a bit weird about it. Nonetheless, you continued with your routines. Taking care of some of the younger disciplines, clean your practice and getting ready to have your practice raided by the junior quartet. The food that you had gotten was gone by the end, most of it by Jingyi, and that was even after you bought extra.

"I just went to the market and you already ate all of it?" You asked as you looked in the cabinet and Jingyi gave a cheeky smile as he ate the last candy, happily eating it.

"A-jiě, when are you and clan leader Jiang getting together?" He then asked, receiving a shove from Jin Ling before looking at Sizhui for help as he tried to block Jin Ling's attacks.

"A-Ling!" The boys paused and you sighed.

"If you're going to hit him, do it where no one sees." You commented and you saw betrayal flash in Jingyi's eyes while Jin Ling just smirked before he started pocking the elder in the ribs. You just shook your head at the two before continuing your stitching on Jin Ling's robe. Then you could suddenly hear shouting and frowned, laying down your work and peaking your head out of the door. You could see Wuxian walking around, Jiang Cheng hot on his heels with an annoyed look. You were then pulled back by Jin Ling.

"Don't tell them we're here..." He begged and you looked at them, all a bit afraid of the consequences of sneaking out, and you scoffed with a smile before nodding and walking out of the practice.

"What's wrong with you two?" You asked as you looked at both men, but only Wuxian stared your way.

"Have you seen Sizhui? Or the others?" He asked and you could hear he was quite concerned.

"Why, what happened?" You returned and Jiang Cheng stepped forward.

"Some disciplines say that they saw them being dragged off and Wuxian is paranoid." He said, receiving a glare from the other (which Jiang Cheng gladly returned).

"I'm sure they're fine, a-Xian." You said and he huffed.

"You two should get married, makes bullying me much easier." He grumbled and you rolled your eyes with a laugh while Jiang Cheng just rolled his eyes.

"Very funny. You're just not thinking rationally. We both just acknowledge that." Jiang Cheng said and Wuxian just huffed again.

"You two fit each other." And then he just walked off, leaving you and Jiang Cheng alone. You looked at him and found him already looking your way, ears red once more.

"Don't be too hard on him, he's just worried." You said and Jiang Cheng nodded shortly.

"Are you not?" "Jin Ling can defend himself, he'll be fine." He answered curtly and you flicked his head harshly, making the man flinch before looking at you in shock.

"That's your nephew, at least act like you care." You commented angrily before walking back to your practice, seeing 4 pair of eyes stare at you intently.

"What?" You asked and Jin Ling spoke up first.

"You and uncle sound like a married couple..." He said and you felt your face heat up at the comment. But then you saw the terror in their eyes and turned your head, Jiang Cheng standing in the doorway with a stoic expression.

"We'll be on our way then..." Sizhui commented before dragging the other 3 with him and past Jiang Cheng quickly before they all broke into a sprint.

"Bye, auntie." Jin Ling shouted and you saw Jiang Cheng frown as he watched his nephew run out with a smile before he turned back to you.

"You lied about seeing them." "I never said whether I saw them or not nor did anyone give me the chance to say it." You said as you sat down, grabbing Jin Ling's robe up again.

"Is that Jin Ling's?" "Yes, it is. He tripped again and it ripped, so I'm stitching it. You should buy him some new clothes, some have over 20 stitch-spots. I'm losing all my thread on these, I'm tempted to use a different color to make it noticeable." You joked and Jiang Cheng rolled his eyes again, grumbling something under his breath.

"What are you grumbling about? Asking yourself how you'd fallen for me?" You teased, watching his ears turn red again and you smiled again while looking back at the stitching. You looked up when he stayed quiet, seeing that the blush had reached his face and you frowned.

"You alright there?" You asked and he snapped out his trance and nodded coldly before he turned to leave.

"You're leaving?" You asked and he turned his head around to face you. "I mean, it's pretty boring here and you chased my previous company away before I could finish..." You said and you saw him sigh again before he sat on a chair a bit further from you. Even with his annoyed expression, you couldn't help but smile that he took your joke serious enough to stay. You continued your work, glancing at him ever so often as you tried to talk to him (not to much avail). You stopped, however, when you noticed that his eyes were closed and his head was falling down ever so often before he straightened himself up. You smiled and stood up, walking his way and crouching down before gently poking his shoulder. He woke up in and instant and you flinched with his sudden movement, surprised at how close his face was to yours now.

"You should go to your room to sleep, otherwise your neck will hurt." You said as you stood up again, pulling him up with you. It was clear that he was still somewhat sleepy, eyes almost threatening to fall shut again.

"Come one, get out." You laughed and he finally looked awake at the statement, blinking a few times before looking at you.

"I apologize-" "Ah, stop it. I invited you in, no need to be so formal." You interrupted him, which startled him slightly before he simply shut his mouth.

"Feel free to drop by again." You said and he nodded, but you stopped him just before he left.

"And I don't mean with Jin Ling."
