I’ve been living with an empty space in my heart after finishing The Untamed and Word of Honor, coming here to read some good fics and finding none for WoH and only a few for MDZS (which I already have read all)
Like there are a lot of beautiful and fic-able(? characters in both shows ????

Five Chickens
Tumblr media
Requested by anonymous: Hey Hey! How about our 4 juniors boys from The Untamed, joined by a junior girl from the Nie clan (I think she could be Nie Huaisang's younger sister), when she saves their lives from a demon, but turns ugly during the fight. She is stubborn and so refuses their help, without realizing herself that the weapon that hit her was poisoned and she was in agony after a few days. But they manage to save her, repaying her for her earlier help. THX, have a nice day!❣️❣️❣️
Pairing: Untamed Juniors x fem!reader
Word Count: 2.0k words
Part 2
"She'll do great, she knows what she's doing." Wuxian was teasing Huaisang, with a stupid grin as he watched you and all other younglings march out into the fields. Huaisang's eyes remained trained on you and he didn't even react to Wuxian's comment, much to the man's dismay. He was right, Huaisang knew that much, and yet he couldn't help but worry about you.
This would be your first official hunt, dressed in the dark grey robes that represented your clan and a large saber in hand. Unlike him, you were much more interested in fighting and swords. If anything, you were a carbon copy of your oldest brother, Mingjue. Only differences that you were a bit less aggressive, but in now way should you be angered. You had been hunting since you were 10 years old, a talent for tracking and killing demons that gained you the title of 'the little demon of Nie'. Yet, Huaisang was worried. He didn't want to lose another on of his family members.
Tumblr media
"It went this way!" Jing Ling's voice was booming loud, anyone near could hear it and in turn also creatures. Sizhui and Zizhen were trying to shush the boy, but getting Jingyi quiet was another task.
"I know it went this way, I'm not blind! But can you see anything here, stupid?" Jingyi screamed back before all of them froze when something loud growled behind them. With a turn of their heads, the cause of this became clear.
They supposed it was a man, but it's body was disfigured and broken. Black smoke surrounded it, pulling attention away from the obvious dangling arm and broken leg.
"Uh... demon?" Zizhen stuttered and the others nodded before jumping when the creature let out a loud roar. They ran in an instance, avoiding trees as they were chased.
"I thought there were only bunnies!" Jingyi screamed loudly as he jumped over some fallen trees, daring to look back and only screaming when he noticed how close the demon was to him. Curses flew from his mouth, which made Sizhui frown at the breaking of the rules. With another roar, they all dared to look back before slowing down. Someone had jumped on the demon, sword slashing away at the enemy as they avoided the attacks. The quartet slowed down, staring at their savior as they fought. Then, with a final blow, the demon crashed to the ground, smoke completely gone and a girl straddling the body with the sword impaled into it's chest.
"You guys run like chickens." The comment was unexpected, so much so that Sizhui couldn't help but laugh while others stared in shock. You got up, pulling your saber out of the demon's body and watching as it turned to ashes before you walked closer to the quartet. It was then that they realized that you were Nie (Y/n), if not for the saber it was for the smirk you wore that sent shivers down their spines and reminded them of Nie Mingjue. You walked closer before pausing right in front of them, saber now thrown over your shoulder as you placed your other hand on your hip.
'You're hurt." Sizhui noticed the long scratch on your leg, cutting through your robes and revealing your leg along with the wound. You followed his gaze, looking at your leg with confusion before sighing softly as you tore a lower part of your robes before lifting the robes up to your hip.
"Cover up!" Jin Ling and Jingyi yelled in sync, all of them turning away from seeing you practically naked or at least like they believed. You paused for a few seconds before rolling your eyes, continuing to wrapping your leg to keep the blood loss to a minimum. Then you lowered your robes once again and looking back at the boys.
"Let's find something else to hunt, you chickens." You spoke as you brushed past them, walk turning into a sprint as you got sight of another creature. The four boys couldn't help but follow, although it was with slight hesitance in their steps.
Tumblr media
"Oi, chickens!" There rang a collective groan from the group as they noticed you approaching, or more specifically from Jin Ling and Jingyi as they all turned to face your approaching figure.
"Stop calling us that!" Jingyi called out, clearly annoyed as he glared at you. You didn't react to the glare, instead you just smiled at Sizhui as he greeted you. He was probably the only once that didn't mind the nickname too much, he was used to worse kind of nicknames at this point (Wuxian being the cause of this).
You stopped once you were next to the group, sighing loudly before looking at the object in Sizhui's hands. It was a child's toy, yet he held it with such care and you couldn't help but wonder why.
"Did you buy that here?" You asked, pointing at the object and Sizhui looked down before nodding. He opened his hands fully to reveal the toy, which now was clearly shown to be a butterfly. It was pretty and reminded you of the toys that you had as a child, not that you cared much for those when you were young as you preferred to play with the swords of your brother.
"Did you go to the doctor for your wounds?" Zizhen asked and you smiled at the boy, but shook your head nonetheless. You didn't see the point, it was a simple flesh wound and you were used to those.
"Are you sure that's okay?" "Yeah, I cleaned and wrapped it. It'll be fine, nothing I haven't had before." You said with another smile, not flinching in the slightest as you prodded at the wound before shrugging it off.
"What about you? You sprained your ankle, no?" You turned to Jin Ling and he looked surprised that you knew that before nodding at you, yet not speaking up besides a thank you. Right when you were about to say something else, you heard a loud shout from behind you as a man walked by with a cart full of snacks. With wide eyes, you carefully watched the sugar covered fruits and your hand was quick to move to your money pouch. You raced to the man, buying five sugar covered fruit skewers before handing the vendor his money. Then you made your way back to the group.
"Here you go, enjoy!" You smiled as you handed out the skewers to the quartet, who all took it with slight hesitation before all taking a bite. In a second, all their faces lit up as they continued to eat to the treat. You followed, carefully biting into the fruit and listening to the small crack of the sugar. With a small, you chewed on the candy with a happy sigh. It was nice to eat some sugar once in a while, even if it was super unhealthy for you. Only halfway through the apple, you suddenly felt a pain in your abdomen that tore right through your whole body. The apple clattered to the ground, shattering on impact while you held your stomach in pain as your vision blurred before turning dark.
Sizhui was the first to react as he watched you go down, his own treat joining yours on the ground as he gently laid you down. You were unconscious, but clearly still in pain as your brows furrowed. Black lines were rising above your collar, stopping right underneath your jawline and the lines were slightly raised up.
"She needs a doctor." Sizhui said and Jing Ling, surprisingly, was first to lift you up on his back, making sure that your arms were wrapped around his shoulders and that he had a firm grasp on your legs before he turned his head to the group. Zizhen was the first to speak again, leading the way to the closest doctor. Surely the doctor must've been shocked to see them run in, all of you from rather major clans, but he was quick to move as he noticed your state.
Your skin had turned pale, the black marks had grown more noticeable and your eyes were flickering open and closed every few seconds. When you were laid down on the bed, the doctor was quick to check your state as the others watched patiently for whatever was happening. The doctor was quick to start treatment, not saying a single thing as he treated you with various things like liquid medicines or cream. It took only a couple of minutes before he finished, sighing loudly before making his way over to the quartet.
"How long has she been like that?" "We don't know, we only saw her today. Before today it has been two weeks or so." Sizhui answered and the doctor nodded, jotting it down before handing them a bottle with medicine pills.
"She needs this every day, one in the morning and one in the evening." He then said, looking at them with a stern gaze while Jingyi took ahold of the medicine.
"She also needs a lot of rest for the poison to get out of her system, I even recommend helping her by making her spiritual energy circulate faster. How you do that is your and her choice." The doctor continued before turning away and continuing his previous work while Jin Ling walked back to you. You were lifted again, once again laying on his back as he made sure that you wouldn't fall.
Then all of you made your way back to the hotel, where they could hopefully warn some of the adults of your condition.
Tumblr media
"I am not a child..." You spoke as your medicine was handed to you along with a cup of water by Jingyi, who almost looked like he didn't really want to be here. Nonetheless, you took the pill and swallowed it with a heavy sigh. Being bedridden was not your style, you hated being stuck in the same room from sunrise to sundown. The quartet visited every day to take care of you and Xichen came along every two to three days to help you to help you with your spiritual energy. Right now, the black veins had gone back down, now only near your wound like any normal infection, and it didn't hurt anymore thanks to the faster healing rate due to your spiritual energy.
"Then you would've gone to the doctor when needed. Besides, you're fourteen." Jingyi said and you pouted at him before laying back down. You pulled your blanket up before looking back towards Jingyi, patting the spot beside you. Jingyi gave you a short glare, turning around with a huff and you sighed.
"Chicken." You whispered, to which Jingyi gave you another glare before laying down anyway. You smiled at your victory, leaning your head against his shoulder before sighing again.
"Thank you for the help. You and the other boys, of course." You whispered again, but Jingyi didn't answer you and it just remained quiet in the room. Until the other three appeared, all pausing as they saw Jingyi lay beside you. You lifted your head, patting the bed softly again and causing the three to join you by sitting down near your legs while Zizhen moved to sit against the wall on your other side.
"How are you?" "Well, I'm bored. So, did you bring something to eat?" You asked, staring at Sizhui with curious eyes. He reacted by simply pulling out a pouch and opening it to reveal some hard candies that you had asked for. You sat back up, happily grabbing one and popping it into your mouth with a happy smile.
"You're the best!" You laid back down and chewed happily, laying your head against Jingyi's shoulder once again. The boys talked and you just listened to them with a smile, laughing at the comments they made. It was under weird circumstances, but you were glad you had met them and became friends.
With those thoughts, you drifted to sleep with a smile on your face.

Whispers of innocence
Tumblr media
Thank you Lily (quotev) for requesting this!
d/n = daughter's name
Lan Xichen stood at the doorway, a worried expression softening his usually composed features as he observed Y/n nestled in bed, visibly unwell. It was a rare sight to witness her in such a state, and his heart tugged with concern for her well-being. Approaching the bedside with a quiet grace, he couldn't help the tender smile that curved his lips as he gazed down at her.
"Rest well, my love," his voice was a soothing murmur, laced with affection. He leaned down to press a gentle kiss to her forehead, his touch lingering as if to impart his comfort and care. "I'll be right here if you need anything."
Y/n managed a faint smile, her fingers weakly curling around his hand. "Thank you, Xichen. I just need some rest."
"A-niang!" D/n burst into the room, her energy uncontainable as she barged in. The Lan disciples scrambled to rein in her exuberance, their attempts to hold her back a gentle reminder of decorum in the presence of the Clan Leader and his wife.
"Sorry, Zewu-Jun and Lan Furen," the lan disciples offered apologetic bows.
Lan Xichen raised a hand, signaling a halt, and offered a reassuring smile to the disciples before they left. He turned his attention back to the scene unfolding before him, where d/n stood with her parents.
"A-niang!" D/n's voice was a symphony of delight as she addressed her mother. "Are you feeling better?"
Y/n's lips curved into a warm smile, her eyes shining with affection for her daughter. "I am, especially now that you're here."
D/n's face lit up with joy, her happiness radiating like a sunbeam. She approached the bedside, her small hands reaching out to brush a strand of hair away from y/n's face.
"But Lan Jingyi told me that if you're sick, you'll grow worms in your belly and have bugs coming out of your head," d/n said, her innocence evident in her tone as she relayed the curious information she had picked up.
Y/n couldn't help but giggle at the absurdity of Lan Jingyi's imaginative warning. "Oh, really?" She exchanged a knowing glance with Lan Xichen, amusement dancing in their eyes.
Lan Xichen joined the conversation, his voice gentle and reassuring. "Well, d/n, Lan Jingyi's imagination can be quite vivid, but I assure you, your A-niang is in good hands. She's resting and will be better soon."
D/n's brows furrowed in contemplation, her expression a mix of curiosity and concern. "I guess worms and bugs are not very good caretakers, are they?"
Lan Xichen chuckled softly, his gaze fond as he ruffled her hair affectionately. "No, they're not quite the nurturing type."
D/n nodded, seemingly satisfied with this clarification. Her attention shifted back to her mother, her expression softening with affection. "A-niang, can I stay with you for a while?"
"It's best for A-niang to be alone for a while so she can recover," Lan Xichen gently explained to his daughter as they exited the room, leaving his wife to rest and recuperate.
D/n's brows furrowed in a mix of concern and curiosity as she mulled over her father's words. "But Lan Jingyi told me that if you're alone for too long, you won't get better. He said little bugs will start to collect your soul." Her pout was accompanied by a worried expression.
Lan Xichen couldn't help but hide a small smile at the imaginative explanation provided by Lan Jingyi. "Oh, is that so?" He knelt down to her eye level, his tone conspiratorial. "Well, I think Lan Jingyi might have been having some fun with his words. You see, A-niang just needs some quiet time to rest and regain her strength. No bugs involved."
D/n's eyes widened with a mix of skepticism and curiosity. "Are you sure, a-die?"
Lan Xichen nodded with an earnest expression. "Absolutely sure. Sometimes, being alone and resting can help our bodies heal faster."
D/n pondered his words, her pout slowly transforming into a thoughtful expression. "So, no bugs?"
Lan Xichen chuckled softly. "No bugs, I promise."
D/n's lips curled into a relieved smile, her worry dissipating. "Okay, then. I guess I can let A-niang rest."
"That's very considerate of you," Lan Xichen praised, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder. "Your A-niang will appreciate it very much."
D/n beamed with pride, her worries now replaced with a sense of understanding. "I want her to get better soon so we can play together!"
Lan Xichen stood up and held out his hand, ready to continue their journey. "That's a wonderful thought, d/n. Now, how about we go for a little walk while A-niang rests? We can come up with fun ideas to surprise her when she feels better."
D/n's eyes lit up with excitement at the prospect of planning surprises. She took her father's hand, her grip firm and determined. "Yes, let's do that, a-die!"
As the father and daughter strolled through the tranquil corridors of the Lan Clan residence, the serenity of the surroundings seemed to trigger a flood of memories for Lan Xichen. The way y/n interacted with d/n, their laughter and affectionate exchanges, transported him back to his own childhood days alongside Lan Wangji, a time when their mother's presence still graced their lives.
Lost in his reminiscences, Lan Xichen was suddenly brought back to reality by the sound of d/n's exuberant voice. "You know, a-die!" Her declaration echoed down the hallways, drawing curious glances from passing disciples.
Startled by her enthusiastic announcement, Lan Xichen couldn't help but pause in his steps. "D/n," he interjected gently, his voice laced with a mixture of surprise and amusement. "Let's keep our voices down. We must show respect for our elders as they go about their duties."
D/n nodded in understanding, though her enthusiasm remained undeterred. "Yes, a-die," she responded in a hushed tone, her eyes shining with energy. "But you know, when I grow up, I want to marry Lan Jingyi!"
Lan Xichen's steps faltered as d/n's words hit him like a sudden gust of wind. Her declaration seemed to reverberate through his mind, momentarily jolting him out of his composed demeanor. He looked down at his daughter, his eyes wide with a mixture of astonishment and disbelief.
"You want to marry Lan Jingyi?" he repeated, his voice tinged with shock as he struggled to process her straightforward statement.
D/n nodded enthusiastically, her innocent expression unchanged. "Yes, a-die! When I grow up, I want to marry Lan Jingyi. He's funny and nice, and we play together all the time!"
Lan Xichen's mind raced, trying to reconcile his daughter's innocent proclamation with the reality before him. He hadn't expected such a candid revelation, especially from someone so young. He cleared his throat, attempting to regain his composure.
"D/n, that's a very interesting thought," he managed to say, his voice gentle yet tinged with surprise. "But you're still very young, and there's a lot of time ahead for you to grow and explore different paths."
D/n looked up at him with wide, earnest eyes. "But a-die, you always say that we should find someone who makes us happy. And Lan Jingyi makes me really happy!"
Lan Xichen blinked, her innocence cutting through his momentary shock. He had indeed imparted those values to her, encouraging her to seek happiness and kindness in her relationships. He couldn't help but smile at her conviction, a mixture of fondness and amusement in his expression.
"You're absolutely right, d/n," he conceded, his smile softening. "Finding someone who brings joy to your life is important. But remember, there's no rush. Take your time to grow and discover what truly makes your heart happy."
D/n's face lit up with a bright smile, her trust in her father unwavering. "I will, a-die!"
Lan Xichen crouched down to her level, his hand gently resting on her shoulder. "That's the spirit, d/n. Enjoy your journey of growing up, and know that your family will always be here to support you."
D/n's smile widened, and she gave him a quick hug. "Thank you, a-die!"
As they continued their walk, Lan Xichen couldn't help but chuckle softly to himself. His daughter's candidness and straightforwardness were a constant reminder of the purity of childhood innocence. And in her innocent aspiration, he found a reminder that life's dreams and aspirations often take root in the most unexpected moments.
Lan Xichen's attention was swiftly captured by d/n's excited exclamation. Her little finger pointed towards a group of baby bunnies, their soft and pristine coats standing out against the green backdrop of the lan clan's surroundings. Their playful hops and wiggles were a sight to behold, and a smile involuntarily graced his lips.
"Indeed, they are quite the adorable sight," he replied, his voice gentle.
D/n's request to take one of the baby bunnies home pulled at his heartstrings. Her earnestness and cute expression were hard to resist, yet he knew the importance of teaching her about the balance of nature and the creatures that shared their world.
He crouched down to her eye level, his eyes meeting hers as he spoke. "My dear, while it's a wonderful thought, these baby bunnies have their own homes and families here. They belong in our lan clan's environment, and it's best to let them remain where they thrive."
A soft smile graced his features as he brushed a strand of hair behind her ear, his fatherly affection evident. "How about we sit here for a while and observe their playful antics? We can appreciate their beauty and happiness without disturbing their natural habitat."
D/n's expression held a mix of disappointment and understanding, and he marveled at her capacity to grasp such concepts. She nodded, a small smile tugging at her lips.
"All right, A-die," she agreed, her voice soft but content. "Let's watch them play together."
On their journey back, d/n's excitement seemed to radiate as she bounded towards her mother, eager to share the day's enchanting escapades.
"A-niang, guess what?" d/n bubbled with enthusiasm. "A-die and I had the most amazing adventures today!"
Y/n's tender smile welcomed her daughter's chatter, her eyes reflecting a mixture of fondness and curiosity. "Tell me all about it, sweetheart."
D/n's yawn was a testament to her day's energy expenditure, but it didn't dampen her animated storytelling. "We explored and saw so many things. But the best part was when we found these cute little bunnies! I really wanted to bring one home, but a-die said we shouldn't."
Y/n's soothing voice carried a note of understanding as she responded, "I'm glad you had such a wonderful time, my love. Exploring with your a-die sounds like so much fun."
Lan Xichen's arrival with their tired daughter in his arms was a gentle interruption. D/n's eyelids drooped as her yawns continued to punctuate her words. Her mother's arms welcomed her into a cozy embrace, and Lan Xichen swiftly tucked her into bed.
"Time for you to rest, my little adventurer," y/n cooed softly, brushing a gentle kiss against d/n's forehead.
D/n's voice was a sleepy murmur as she nestled in her mother's embrace, recounting the day's highlights one last time before slumber claimed her. "Tomorrow, maybe the bunnies will have babies of their own..."
As Lan Xichen quietly left the room to give their daughter the rest she needed, he couldn't help but smile at the bond they shared and the joyful memories they were building together. Back in their own room, he rejoined y/n, the warmth of their daughter's stories lingering in the air.
"It seems like you guys had quite the adventure," y/n remarked with a knowing smile. "D/n's energy and curiosity remind me of someone."
Lan Xichen's expression shifted, a mixture of emotions passing through his eyes. "You promised, y/n. We agreed never to bring him up."
A heavy sigh escaped y/n's lips, her gaze soft but steadfast. "I understand your feelings, Xichen. But we both know Wei Wuxian isn't solely at fault. The past is complex, and there's more to it than what meets the eye."
Lan Xichen's brows furrowed, his frustration and lingering resentment evident. "He brought trouble to our clan, and Lan Wangji bore the burden of his actions. It's not so simple."
Y/n reached out, her hand finding its way to his. Her touch was a comforting reassurance as she spoke, her voice gentle but firm. "I know it's not simple, Xichen. But it's important not to let anger and blame cloud our judgment. We've seen the good he's done too. Just as Lan Wangji has."
Lan Xichen's gaze met hers, a storm of conflicting emotions swirling within. He knew y/n was right, but letting go of years of resentment wasn't an easy task. Their hands remained intertwined, a silent understanding passing between them, bridging the gap between differing perspectives.
"He caused an overwhelming amount of chaos within the clan," Lan Xichen's voice carried the weight of history as memories resurfaced. "The repercussions of his actions were extensive, leading to the loss of many innocent civilians. It's difficult to fathom how a single individual could bring about so much death and pain."
Y/n's gaze softened with understanding, her eyes reflecting the shared pain of their clan's past. She leaned in, pressing a tender kiss to Lan Xichen's temple. "You're right, my love. It's a topic best left untouched for now. The past can't be changed, and Wei Wuxian is no longer among the living."
Lan Xichen's shoulders relaxed slightly at her touch and words, the weight of his thoughts eased by her presence. "You're right, y/n. Thank you for being here with me."
With a gentle smile, she intertwined her fingers with his, their bond a testament to the strength they found in each other. "Always, Xichen. We face our challenges together, no matter the weight of the past."
As they settled into bed, the room filled with a sense of solace, a reminder that even in the face of their clan's tumultuous history, their love remained a beacon of hope for the future.

Jin Ling • 金凌
Jin Ling was always such a hot-blooded youth, especially with the lit fires Jiang Cheng put under him to train and get stronger. Quite the contrast to Jin Guangyao, who had often told the boy to slow down. The boy was loud and proud, and yet still came back to you for reassurance if he put you in any harm or if Jiang Cheng was too distant that day. A cute kid, you admit.
So when you have to use his own weapon to save him from a killer rogue cultivator, you simply see it as part of the course and smile. The enemy's weapon is a rope dart; sadly you're slower then your peers and the tip lodges into your hand where you hold the sword.
For the enemy, and their soon cooling corpse, it was only your complexion that had washed up over the years. You did need to take a long break against a tree to catch your breath, but at least it was over now.
Jin Ling had been thrown to the forest shrubbery by a kick to his chest and by the time he had made it to you, you had taken care of the cultivator. He first took his sword back and flicked off any remaining blood, before he started to check your hands and look around the field.
"You didn't have to do that, especially with how I'm the one escorting you to Yunmeng." Jin Ling gripes and notes your bruised and cut hand from where you had the dart lodged in. "Uncle will be displeased I didn't kill him..."
You laugh at the thought of Jiang Cheng scolding anyone for allowing you to fight; especially since if you were so hopeless, Jiang Cheng wouldn't have just sent Jin Ling as your bodyguard. But for now, you simply thank Jin Ling for the gauze he puts over your bruises, as he tries to brush off your thanks in turn.
Lan Sizhui • 蓝愿
Being a part of the field training for a group of Gusu Lan disciples can either be educational, a field trip, or a real trip to a migraine. Thankfully your small group was headed by Lan Sizhui, the more level-headed senior of the junior disciplines.
Lan Sizhui was always a natural at anything involving a talisman or sigils, so you definitely were going to focus elsewhere for training when you saw someone shady moving in on your group of students. A beggar, a thug, a cultivator: the identity mattered not as you prepared an acupuncture strike.
You shoot the strike behind Sizhui and Jingyiーwho had their backs open on your left as he was taking a role callーand managed to strike the man's shoulder and clavicle meridians. Sadly he had tried to use the dirty tactic of biting before he fully went down, so you had an abrasion level bite wound across your index and middle fingers.
Townspeople and students all took a step back as he fell, and a couple fiery disciples jumped to put the man in temporary cuffs while barking for the guards. Your calmest and most attentive student to you, stayed by your side since the beginning.
"I apologize for you getting hurt protecting me. I shall do better next time, I promise." Lan Sizhui takes a handkerchief from his sash and attempts to use their drink water to clean the wound gently on your hand.
You wanted to tell him it'd be fine, or at least you'd be fine. You've beaten worse while feeling worse and in a lot worse company. But for some reason or another, you allowed Lan Sizhui to just dote on you this one time. He's far too polite to turn away.
Lan Jingyi • 蓝景仪
[Continued from Lan Sizhui's] If Lan Sizhui was the one to ease your worry this group would be training well and behave, it's Lan Jingyi who you know will liven things up and act first. Lan Jingyi might have a slightly fickle streak and might walk off once or twice, but he was a good kid.
A little bit of a temperament can be bad under his loud words and (slightly hypocritical) rule declaration. But at least, he was fast on his feet as well, being the first to jump on the perpetrator who, well, bit you.
While you're getting your wound cleaned and pressure put on it by Sizhui, you feel other students start to crowd you as Jingyi and another finish up tying the man. A seat was given to you, and you feel a bit odd sitting in it when you're not feeling worse for wear and all your disciples were standing around you.
Waiting for the guards of the city while hogging part of the road also makes you feel weird, but at least your disciples had something else to gripe about. Whoever the attacher was, they'd know soon enough.
Lan Sizhui had walked off to complete the supply run with half of the disciples and you were left with Lan Jingyi at your side. Said student saw how antsy you were while sitting. He gave his own form of comfort. "You moved so fast, I thought it might have been a something dangerous. You didn't... have to."
Jingyi was one of the few students who acted tough and didn't seem to care for your waning health as much as the others. Seem was a big word. Lan Jingyi was childish at heart and sickness can be very scary for someone so young, so you happily explain why yes this teacher had to fight for you.

If it Means to Remain by Your Side
From the list I posted yesterday, I'm gonna start with the Dan Heng x Reader MDZS inpsired fic first.
Characters and plot won’t be as accurate to the inspired plot. Especially for this story which involves a lot of adults and teens an not much children.  So many characters are left out simply due to the fact that a lot of npcs either didn’t fit the role, or were far too young for my standards.
I also ended up having to lean more onto the live action version than the novel/manhua version. Not all characters casted are exactly accurate too, as there are more traumatized than non-traumatized.
Cast
Dan Heng  - Lan zhan/Lan Wangji
Reader - Wei Ying/Wei Wuxian
Jing Yuan - Lan Xichen
Blade/Yingxing - Song Lan
March - Lan Jingyi
Yukong - Jian Yanli
Tingyun - Jin Guangyao
Jingliu - Xue Yang
Baiheng - Xiao Xingchen
Yanqing - Jin Ling
Ruan Mei _ Baoshan Sanren
Luocha - Jin Zixuan (Ik Yukong and him aren’t a ship, but it'll have to do as Honkai doesn’t really have a F and M implied relations. I mean the only ones that do are in a love triangle.)
Xueyi - Wen Ning
Hanya - Wen Qing
Qingque - Nie Huaisang

I literally looked up all the different alliance of Xianzhou just to see which would be Wen sect. So here’s the reasoning.
Luofu: They don’t really have a specialty. Their main goal is to take out abundance cult.
Yaoqing: Much like Luofu, don’t really have a specialty. Aggressive and good at martial arts.
Zhuming: Their main export specialty is porcelain. According to Fandom wiki, the people here love playing with fire.
Yuque: They export jade abaci, thus making me think they’ll be wealthy due to it and technologically advanced/smart.
Fanghu: Exports a lot of marine things. Though it would make since to have Dan Heng come from here, but it would not make sense for other characters like March and Jing Yuan to have been born here. And it’s the closest in description to Yunmeng.
Xuling: Not much is really stated about this place on Fandom Wiki, but it looks like a place of law. But piggybacking off of the fact that not much is written about this area, Imma just gonna liken this area to Burial Mounds.
Idk why I stressed so much trying to make it 100% accurate 💀
My main source for these infos are from MDZS and Star Rail fandom wiki, so if inaccuracies occur, I apologize in advance for it.

Can you do ickies but junior version?
aw yea; i’m glad you liked the first one!
i think the juniors are babies themselves, so this will be fun to write. i am picturing this in our canon au!
(the "ickies" hc in reference found here)
enjoy~
ˑ༄ؘ ۪۪۫۫ ▹▫◃ ۪۪۫۫ ༄ؘ ˑ
Lan Sizhui
you were both on shared baby-sitting duties,
the little child, your cousin, bouncing happily in your lap
and the sight of you playing with the little boy,
the smile on your face
and the way that the child’s eyes light up with each song that you sing
makes Sizhui’s heart swell so much
that he can’t help but lean over and place a gentle kiss on your cheek
it startles you
a happy surprise
when you turn to look at him, still bouncing the little boy in your arms, you’re a little winded by the pure look of love when your eyes lock
you find yourself gravitating to him naturally, though this time you place a kiss right on his nose
it is clear that you both want to kiss each other very much
but there was a child,
and said child, sat in the middle of you both, has his hands covering his eyes, ears red just like a certain Lan
Lan Jingyi
the giggling around you is what makes you both break away from the kiss
first out of curiosity
then settled embarrassment
even as a senior disciple now,
Lan Jingyi was not as intimidating as his title
especially when he was caught kissing you
“jie-jie and ge-ge sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g” the young Lan disciples sing song in a circle around you, making faces and laughing as Jingyi huffs and tries to get them to settle down
the blush on your face is high and red,
you can’t help but take your long robes and cover your face with your hands
at the sight of you, Jingyi simply laughs louder,
can’t hide the smile on his face
he ignores all the teasing and pointing from the younger disciples to take you into his arms,
to let you hide your face in his chest
wrapped so tightly in his hug does little to help the redness on your cheeks
but you don’t leave his arms anyways
Jin Ling
the taste of the hawthorn candies is sweet on your lips,
and Jin Ling’s hand is where it cradles your face
and clearly kissing on the sidelines of a marketplace is not really the place to be
but Jin Ling couldn’t help it,
not when your lips were shiny from the coating of the caramelized sugar
not when your eyes were lit up little a child at the very first bite
not when you looked absolutely adorable
“ge, is that how you’re supposed to eat the candies?”
the little girl’s voice is genuinely curious, pointing at the sight of you and Jin Ling, lips locked near the candy stand
the taller boy cringes, pats the little girl’s head as he takes her hand to lead her away
“no, that’s how adults eat them”
Ouyang Zizhen
Zizhen’s lips had always been a distraction to you
but when he’s kissing you,
it completely makes you forget about everything else
it’s the loud gagging noise near by that makes you break away from Zizhen’s lips
even then, he still chases after your lips naturally
and you have to catch his face with your hands to get him to open his eyes again
you both turn to the side to see none other than your younger cousins,
when the six year olds meet your eyes, the boys proceed to make even more exaggerated puking and grossed out sounds
and you huff at them, ready to go and give them lecture,
when your boyfriend’s arms wrap around your waist,
hold you back,
hold you close
his breath is warm where it tickles your neck,
“let’s go somewhere a little more private,”
and you can’t help but follow

Hi, may I request 3 zun + minor trio findind out reader is a not so secret damei/yaoi fan and even ships some of them together (like Lan xichen & Jiang cheng or Jin Ling& Lan Sizhui)
I’m sorry I don’t ship Zhuiling since I’m a sucker for enemies to lovers plot ( Lingyi ) but Xicheng is a yes. I hope you understand! Here’s to your request!
characters are : Lan Xichen, Lan Sizhui, Lan Jingyi, Jin Guangyao ( I only do up to 4 characters! Sorry! )
Lan Xichen : He did not expect you to read such content.. Or even talk about it! When he overheard your conversation with Nie Huaisang… He never expected it but hey, you were full of surprises. Hell he stood there in the hallway listening to you and nie huaisang talk about him and Jiang Cheng. “No, no, no.. Piggy-back rides? You gotta think better.” Huaisang says and you tilt your head “What do you mean? It’s not like sect leader Lan will carry sect leader Jiang bridal style.” You say and continue on with your conversation. Lan Xichen left without asking you what he needed to ask you and left with a red face and a whole night to process everything.
Jin Guangyao : You? Read that? He least expected it from you but you showed signs. Like when you saw those Jiang juniors fight you extended a leg and made the other fall into the other’s chest and made them blush while you stared at them with a smirk. He noticed this of course and came to a conclusion you liked this genre so-called “Boys Love” he does notice you reading some part where there are doing the * cough * lightsabers * cough * scene and you read it with a straight face while his was red and surprised.
Lan Sizhui : HA… HAHAHA… he’s to innocent for this fuckery. He doesn’t want to pry into your life. Respectful, until he got bored and took interest in one of your books, “Painter of the night” ( now I hope you know what it is and what was the first chapter ;D ) he was so red he stopped at the 2nd chapter. He learned to never look into your books ever again.
Lan Jingyi : The man was not innocent by any means. He would be surprised because you never showed sign of having such an interest on “BL” or did he miss something.. Honestly would just grab the book you read from your hands but you warned him, he didn’t listen, now he is embarrassed. The man was bright red. Never ever ever ever again he would snatch books from you ever again.

Injury caused love?
Tumblr media
Requested by anonymous: hi hi lovie!! i love your writings so much!! they are so freaking good!! could i make request please? can i request a jiang cheng x fem!reader who’s a healer from the lan clan? she mainly is brought along on most missions, acting as the head doctor/healer of most of the clans; almost as good as wen qing. reader interacts with jiang cheng a lot bc jin ling is always getting injured. reader has the motherly/older-sister vibe; always taking care and letting some of the students (mostly sizhui and jingyi) sneak into their infirmary at night for snacks or comfort. jiang cheng and reader? OBLIVIOUS HOPELESS ROMANTIC AND TSUNDERE. nie huaisang, lan xichen, jin guangyao, and wangxian all bully them for their stupidity </3 even the juniors try getting them together,,, jin ling accidentally calls the reader auntie in front of jiang cheng,,, so soft for jiang cheng…i love
Pairing: Jiang Cheng x fem!reader
Word Count: 2706 words
Warnings: none
A/N they don't get together in the end, if you want I'll make a part 2 where they get together, but only after I've finished all other requests :)
Tumblr media
You stared at the boys in front of you, trying to wrap your head around the story they just told. Mostly you were confused at how Jin Ling happened to be the victim since the boy was usually the one to not get injured. Nonetheless, you quickly told them to sit down before grabbing everything.
"Alright. Sizhui, hold this on his arm and put a lot of pressure on it. I have to get some herbs first, I'll be back in a few minutes." You said as you handed the towel to Sizhui before walking out of the room.
You looked through your stash, not much further from your practice and got the necessary herbs before walking back too your practice, only to be stopped halfway by Xichen, Mingjue and Jiang Cheng.
"Clan leaders." You bowed your head at them and Xichen gave you a warm smile.
"This is (y/n), she's our most skilled healer." He explained to the other two, who nodded in response.
"I apologize, but I have to goo back to my practice. Jin Ling got hurt." You said, the last part a bit more to Jiang Cheng. Jiang Cheng didn't seem to react at first, but it seemed to hit him afterwards at what you said.
"Jin Ling got hurt?" "Yes, I don't remember the whole story though. Something happened with a sword and a cliff, I couldn't follow well." You explained before quickly bowing and running off.
You entered your practice again, staring at the boys who were eating snacks.
"You stole my food stock..." You mumbled and Jingyi smiled happily.
"You're lucky I like you guys." You commented to which they all smiled brightly (except for Jin Ling, who was still in pain of course). You stepped closer to Jin Ling and crouched in front of him as you started to inspect and treat the wound quickly.
"Will it scar?" Jingyi asked and you nodded shortly as you continued to wrap the bandage around his arm.
"Definitely. You should start making up a story to tell to others." You joked as you looked up to Jin Ling.
"Battled a giant demon dog!" Jingyi shouts and you can't help but laugh.
"Those don't walk around anymore, a-Yi." "But it'd be awesome!" He commented again before taking a bite of his (your) food. You rolled your eyes as you finished up the bandaging before getting up.
"How about a wolf instead?" You commented as you started to wash your hands in the bowl of water while listening to Jingyi whine. You could hear Jin Ling cuss at Jingyi while Zizhen just laughed and you saw Sizhui shake his head with a smile.
"Don't come back here too often." You said with a smile as you put everything away again.
"Now, out." You said with a smile, pointing at the door. They all quickly ran out, Jingyi managing to grab some food before leaving.
Despite that, they somehow managed to land in your practice every week. It was mostly Jin Ling who got hurt and you learned that Jin Ling was extremely unlucky and unhandy. A combination that usually doesn't go well. You spend way more time with the junior quartet, because they also came by just to hide from lessons or just to get some snacks (which you now bought double from what you usually bought).
Having Jin Ling in your practice constantly also meant that Jiang Cheng came over more often, usually to bring Jin Ling home/to his room since Jin Ling always fell asleep at the practice. Sometimes, he stayed a bit longer and you got to talk to him a bit more.
You then, of course, started to develop a crush on the man.
You were sure that it was obvious, the snickering of Jingyi said enough. Even Sizhui couldn't help but smile every time Jingyi was snickering while Zizhen tried to make them quiet down.
But of course, the visits didn't stop. Jin Ling was back again every week, joined by his friends of course. But this week was the worst.
Jin Ling was laying on the bed, leg propped up as you tried to stop the bleeding while trying to talk to Sizhui about what had happened.
"We were practicing and the sword broke." Sizhui explained and you turned your head while holding pressure on the leg.
"You got a sword in his leg?" You asked and Sizhui nodded before you turned back to Jin Ling.
"Ever heard of practice sword? You know, the wooden one." You said and he looked away in shame, not answering the sarcastic remark. You started to remove the pressure before getting a needle.
"Sizhui, go get his uncle." You said as you started to stitch the wound, after putting a cloth in Jin Ling's mouth so he wouldn't break his teeth. It took awhile and Jin Ling had passed out from the pain earlier, you couldn't blame the poor boy. Jiang Cheng arrived just as you finished the stitching, eyes cast on the cut as well as all the blood on your hands.
"Good, you're here." You said as you got up, cleaning your hands once more in the basin of water, which had already turned red. Once your hands were clean, you took bandages from the table and started to wrap it around his leg.
"He won't be able to walk for awhile, so please make sure he doesn't. I know how stubborn your family can get. He'll also need to take certain medicines every 2 hours or so for 3 to 4 days." You said before glancing at Jiang Cheng, who was still staring at his nephew and you could spot worry in his eyes.
"He's fine, don't worry too much. You're free to stay until he wakes up." You got up again when you finished wrapping Jin Ling's leg and Jiang Cheng sat down near the bed, eyes now cast towards the broken sword pieces that you had pulled out of the wound.
"What happened?" "The sword broke and hit his leg. These boys don't seem to know the consequences of practicing with actual swords." You replied with a chuckle as you grabbed some tea, offering a cup to Jiang Cheng who gratefully accepted it.
"Is getting hurt also something that runs in your family?" You asked and he looked up, shrugging softly.
"I mean, you got hurt pretty often as well. My teacher healed you quite often." You joked and you could see the wheels turning in his head before it seemed to click.
"You were that girl always watching from the side?" He asked and you nodded, smiling brightly at the thought that he remembered you. You continued to talk and for the first time, he actually tried to hold up the conversation as well.
From then on, everything seemed to take a turn.
Jiang Cheng would greet you if he saw you and sometimes he would converse in conversation , but those conversations weren't very long most of the time. Sometimes his friends (especially Huaisang and Wuxian) were with him and they often gave you a smile, but you could see the twinkle in their eyes. Sometimes the other leaders were with him, Xichen and Guangyao often gave you a sweet smiles, and you couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy every time. Even their smile seemed to hide a certain mischief. You were well aware that they all knew by now, after all Wangji's blunt comments about 'you staring at Jiang Cheng like a puppy in love' (and Wuxian and Huaisang's snickering after said comment) usually did the trick.
Now, they would always approach you while dragging Jiang Cheng behind them. They would start a conversation, trying to get Jiang Cheng to join the conversation at all cost while trying to not make it obvious (and failing miserably in your opinion). Jiang Cheng didn't seem to notice however and just curtly answered the questions thrown his way. He didn't seem particularly happy when he was near you, frown permanently shown on his face as he stood near you as he waited to leave the conversation. It was something you were quite annoyed by. Not because of him, but rather the fact that he was forced to meet you by his friends. So you asked them to stop and they did, much to their annoyance.
But you did see him a few more times again, mostly for Jin Ling's checkups. He'd just sit in the corner, staring as you cleaned his nephew's wound.
"A-jiě?" Jin Ling spoke in a whisper and you glanced up to him, giving him a small nod.
"What is it?" You whispered back and he glanced at his uncle before getting a bit closer to you.
"Uncle is staring at you..." "Don't be ridiculous A-Ling." You said, flicking his forehead softly with a disapproving chuckle before continuing to clean his wound. The boy couldn't help but smile a bit, something you couldn't help but smile in return to. Seeing the boy smile was still something new and it didn't happen that often, so you were always happy when you did see him smile.
"I'm sure about it, a-jiě. He has that look in his eyes." Jin Ling said and you looked up again, hands freezing in place before you took a glance at Jiang Cheng as well. His gaze was focused to the two of you, but you suddenly did notice his eyes shifting to you every few seconds as they lingered on your form.
"Well, a-Ling. You might be right for once." You commented, a small smirk appearing on your face to which Jin Ling smiled again.
When you finished cleaning and rebandaging Jin Ling's leg, you asked Jiang Cheng to wait for a second while Jin Ling limped out.
"You know, Jin Ling told me something." You said and he looked at you in confusion, waiting for you to continue.
"He said you were staring at me. I don't think so.... Unless you were?" You teased, eyes moving to his figure and smiling slightly when you noticed how his ears had turned red slightly as he stared in front of him.
"I'll see you later, I have to collect some stuff." You said before walking off, leaving the man standing in front of your practice.
You didn't see him for a few days after that and you couldn't help but feel a bit weird about it. Nonetheless, you continued with your routines. Taking care of some of the younger disciplines, clean your practice and getting ready to have your practice raided by the junior quartet. The food that you had gotten was gone by the end, most of it by Jingyi, and that was even after you bought extra.
"I just went to the market and you already ate all of it?" You asked as you looked in the cabinet and Jingyi gave a cheeky smile as he ate the last candy, happily eating it.
"A-jiě, when are you and clan leader Jiang getting together?" He then asked, receiving a shove from Jin Ling before looking at Sizhui for help as he tried to block Jin Ling's attacks.
"A-Ling!" The boys paused and you sighed.
"If you're going to hit him, do it where no one sees." You commented and you saw betrayal flash in Jingyi's eyes while Jin Ling just smirked before he started pocking the elder in the ribs. You just shook your head at the two before continuing your stitching on Jin Ling's robe. Then you could suddenly hear shouting and frowned, laying down your work and peaking your head out of the door. You could see Wuxian walking around, Jiang Cheng hot on his heels with an annoyed look. You were then pulled back by Jin Ling.
"Don't tell them we're here..." He begged and you looked at them, all a bit afraid of the consequences of sneaking out, and you scoffed with a smile before nodding and walking out of the practice.
"What's wrong with you two?" You asked as you looked at both men, but only Wuxian stared your way.
"Have you seen Sizhui? Or the others?" He asked and you could hear he was quite concerned.
"Why, what happened?" You returned and Jiang Cheng stepped forward.
"Some disciplines say that they saw them being dragged off and Wuxian is paranoid." He said, receiving a glare from the other (which Jiang Cheng gladly returned).
"I'm sure they're fine, a-Xian." You said and he huffed.
"You two should get married, makes bullying me much easier." He grumbled and you rolled your eyes with a laugh while Jiang Cheng just rolled his eyes.
"Very funny. You're just not thinking rationally. We both just acknowledge that." Jiang Cheng said and Wuxian just huffed again.
"You two fit each other." And then he just walked off, leaving you and Jiang Cheng alone. You looked at him and found him already looking your way, ears red once more.
"Don't be too hard on him, he's just worried." You said and Jiang Cheng nodded shortly.
"Are you not?" "Jin Ling can defend himself, he'll be fine." He answered curtly and you flicked his head harshly, making the man flinch before looking at you in shock.
"That's your nephew, at least act like you care." You commented angrily before walking back to your practice, seeing 4 pair of eyes stare at you intently.
"What?" You asked and Jin Ling spoke up first.
"You and uncle sound like a married couple..." He said and you felt your face heat up at the comment. But then you saw the terror in their eyes and turned your head, Jiang Cheng standing in the doorway with a stoic expression.
"We'll be on our way then..." Sizhui commented before dragging the other 3 with him and past Jiang Cheng quickly before they all broke into a sprint.
"Bye, auntie." Jin Ling shouted and you saw Jiang Cheng frown as he watched his nephew run out with a smile before he turned back to you.
"You lied about seeing them." "I never said whether I saw them or not nor did anyone give me the chance to say it." You said as you sat down, grabbing Jin Ling's robe up again.
"Is that Jin Ling's?" "Yes, it is. He tripped again and it ripped, so I'm stitching it. You should buy him some new clothes, some have over 20 stitch-spots. I'm losing all my thread on these, I'm tempted to use a different color to make it noticeable." You joked and Jiang Cheng rolled his eyes again, grumbling something under his breath.
"What are you grumbling about? Asking yourself how you'd fallen for me?" You teased, watching his ears turn red again and you smiled again while looking back at the stitching. You looked up when he stayed quiet, seeing that the blush had reached his face and you frowned.
"You alright there?" You asked and he snapped out his trance and nodded coldly before he turned to leave.
"You're leaving?" You asked and he turned his head around to face you. "I mean, it's pretty boring here and you chased my previous company away before I could finish..." You said and you saw him sigh again before he sat on a chair a bit further from you. Even with his annoyed expression, you couldn't help but smile that he took your joke serious enough to stay. You continued your work, glancing at him ever so often as you tried to talk to him (not to much avail). You stopped, however, when you noticed that his eyes were closed and his head was falling down ever so often before he straightened himself up. You smiled and stood up, walking his way and crouching down before gently poking his shoulder. He woke up in and instant and you flinched with his sudden movement, surprised at how close his face was to yours now.
"You should go to your room to sleep, otherwise your neck will hurt." You said as you stood up again, pulling him up with you. It was clear that he was still somewhat sleepy, eyes almost threatening to fall shut again.
"Come one, get out." You laughed and he finally looked awake at the statement, blinking a few times before looking at you.
"I apologize-" "Ah, stop it. I invited you in, no need to be so formal." You interrupted him, which startled him slightly before he simply shut his mouth.
"Feel free to drop by again." You said and he nodded, but you stopped him just before he left.
"And I don't mean with Jin Ling."

Okayy so… I have no idea if you wanted Wangxian in separate but I did them together. And, help this is rushed since I’m doing this with my Science homework. Ehe- here’s your request! ^^
Wangxian (modern since I have forgotten my ancient Chinese phase) :
“Y/N…” Wei Wuxian calls your name as he hugs your back. You pay no mind to the man because you are doing some of your assigned work, not to mention if you ever pay attention to HIM.. Well, let’s say you can’t really divert your attention elsewhere but him. Lan Wangji was at work but he should be back later. “Y/N please don’t ignore mee.” Putting his chin on your shoulder while you continued writing what was assigned to you. “Wei Ying, I have to submit this tomorrow. Wait for Lan Zhan or eat your spicy noodles.” You say while patting his head. At that moment you heard the door open “Lan Zhan!” Wei Wuxian runs up to the taller man to hug him. “Welcome home, Lan Zhan.” You say while still writing, you really are dedicated to finish this and finally rest. “Y/N, why don’t you rest first? You need it.” Lan Wangji puts a hand on your shoulder as you look at him “Heyy! How come I barely got your attention when you were writing? Is it really that easy for Lan Zhan to grab your attention?” Wei Wuxian pouts and looks sideways while Lan Wangji just sighs. “Wei Ying, if I ever payed attention to you I have no idea what will happen to my work.” You say as Wei Wuxian laughs “Am I that irresistable?” He asks and you and Lan Wangji nods. “Pfft-” Is all he could say as he hugs you from the front and Lan wangji hugs you from the back.
“Okay, you win.”
Jin Ling ( modern ) :
N/N : nickname
He is mad, very mad. But he wants your attention and you’re not giving it to him. “Y/N.” He pokes your shoulder but you don’t reply. “Y/N!” He says your name loudly but you don’t reply but just shook your head. “Nuh-uh!” Is all you said after he keeps calling your name, he just sighs and puts his arms around your waist “I’m sorry N/N..”
“No.” “Please?” “Nooppeee.”
* sighs * “What do you want?” “Nothing.” The poor guy just needed some notes since he slept during Science class.
Jingyi :
After a whole week of avoiding you, he now wants your attention? “Y/N? Not going to bother me anymore?” He asks “I was bothering you?” All you did was wave and say hi but he runs off. He never did that with other people. “No it’s not like that!” He says but then you ignore his explanation and walk past him “Ay! Come back here!” He shouts and runs after you “Shouting and running is prohibited in Gusu.” You said to him and he huffs “Can’t you listen first?” He asks, pleading you to listen to his explanation. “Nah.” Is all you said and met up with Jin Ling. Sizhui then approaches him “After a week planning? You still didn’t have the courage to confess?” Sure he did run off because he was so entranced by you and Sizhui had to catch him when he almost fell down the stairs. “Why do I love them again?…” He honestly doesn’t know.
Lan Sizhui :
Eh? Him? Affectionate?? Yes. “Y/N.” He places his hand on top of yours “Wait, after this book.” Is all you say, very focused on what you are reading. He sighs and just carresses your hand “That’s the 4th book…” He is very patient when it comes to you so he still waits. After you are done reading he lifts his head up and finally hugs you. “Oh? Why the sudden affection? We are just beside each other.” You ask him “Well you didn’t pay attention to me.”

MDZS Juniors Headcannon - Reader who can talk to animals
Tumblr media
Jiang Cheng, Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian, 3 Zuns, and Seniors
Lán Sīzhuī:
When Lán Sīzhuī first met you, he didn't judge you at all. He treated you with respect and didn't think you were that different from others even though you could talk to animals. When Lán Sīzhuī first heard the rumours about the powerful cultivator that could talk to animals, he was amazed and always wanted to meet you. After he met you, he knew that the rumours about you being a lunatic were completely false and that you were just misunderstood. What he loves about you is that you are always considerate of others, and that you always put others first before yourself. He also loves that you get along easily with his adopted Father, Wèi Wúxiàn. You get along with Wèi Wúxiàn because you guys are both misunderstood and you both want best for Lán Sīzhuī. Even though you get along with Wèi Wúxiàn well, Lán Sīzhuī sometimes gets annoyed because you learn shameless things from Wèi Wúxiàn and when you're out with him and Lán Sīzhuī. He feels like a third wheel sometimes because of how well you get along with his father. When you guys hear rumors about you, Lán Sīzhuī would always tell you to ignore them and always keep calm, and don't do anything you'll regret.
Lán Jǐngyí:
When Lán Jǐngyí first heard about  about you. He was really scared of you because some rumors would say that you were a crazy lunatic, other rumors would say that you were a ghost that had been sent to punish them, and another rumor that he heard about you is that you were an insane cultivator that practice demonic cultivation and your teacher was  Xuē Yáng. But of course all those rumors were completely false. When Lán Jǐngyí first met you, he was terrified but then he realized that you were just a regular cultivator that could talk to animals. He loves that you are always confident no matter what people talk about you. But what he really hates is that sometimes your confidence can causes you guys to get in trouble. When he still hears the rumors about you, he would always tell people to stop making false claims about you and that you're just a regular cultivator like them.
Jīn Líng:
When Jīn Líng first met you, he thought you were insane and crazy. But then once Fairy ran towards you, he realized that all the rumor and lies that cultivators had told him in the past were completely wrong because if Fairy likes you then there's nothing wrong with you. He loves that you and fairy are able to communicate with each other. He would always pretend that he doesn't want to know what you guys are talking about even though he secretly wishes to know. He does get jealous of you because of the bond you and Fairy share. He gets very jealous because you are able to communicate with her and he wishes that he was also able to talk to her. When rumors are spread about you, he would threaten them and would demand them to stop talking about you, and leave you alone.
Ōuyáng Zizhēn:
When Ōuyáng Zizhēn first heard about you, he didn't believe the rumors because they were just stories about you, and the stories were too crazy to be true. After he met you, he knew that the rumors were false and there wasn't anything unusual about you besides the fact you can talk to animals. He loves that you're very intelligent, and he admires you for your knowledge and skill in cultivating. What he dislikes is that you sometimes tend to wander and then he would always find you in the same place. You're always with the animals and you always try to sneak them with you. If people talk bad about you,  Ōuyáng Zizhēn would always be polite but he would have a very annoyed tone. He would tell people to stop spreading rumors about you and he would always say the positives about you to show them that you aren't a lunatic.

Hi! Sizhuyu shared me your blog and I loved the contents so if you can can you do the juniors but seperate stories if they inhaled aphrosadraic ( or whatever its called ) insense? But it’s a Husband AU :’) . Imagine them being all romantic haha!
I hope you like it!! I don’t do overly nsfw, only heated stuff + alluding to nsfw so I hope this suffices! It’s a husband AU thingie, so they’re all obvi aged up. But for future reference, all the characters I write for will be aged up regardless of the content.
Incense of Desire
“This is… what?” You asked the woman with black hair. She huffed and rolled her emerald eyes before looking at you.
“For the third time, it’s an incense that’ll make your husband swoon over you. All you need to do is light it thirty minutes before he gets home and it’ll work wonders!” You don’t even remember how you’d gotten here, but this seemed pretty interesting. There wasn’t anything particularly wrong with your relationship, but to see a side like that seemed exciting nonetheless. It wasn’t costly either. You finally made up your mind and looked at the woman.
“Ok, I’ll buy some.”
Lan Sizhui:
You waited rather impatiently for Sizhui to get home. It had been thirty minutes since you’d lit the incense and it smelled great. It reminded you of roses… but also winter. It didn’t take long for you to hear the door open.
“I’m home!” A voice called out. Your nerves spiked, but you ignored them and put a smile on your face, running to the living room.
“Welcome home!” You gave your husband a hug and a kiss, letting him place his sword down. Recently, he and a few of his friends had been hearing of demonic activity not too far from where you lived. He’d usually be gone at least all day, but always returned at night, even though night was the best time to hunt demons.
“Dinner’s ready! I hope you didn’t eat this time.” He smiled and shook his head.
“No, I remembered. I love your cooking so I didn’t want to miss out on it again.” He sniffed around for a second, which made you a little nervous.
“It smells good. Really good!” He walked past you and you sighed in relief. What were you going to tell him anyway?
He quickly changed out of his clothes and into some clean ones, but when he returned he stopped and stared at you as you got the food ready. You looked back at him and smiled.
“Ah! Just in time, food’s ready.” He didn’t move or speak though, just silently watching your figure move throughout the kitchen. You looked back once more and titled your head. “Everything ok?”
He blinked and nodded before moving. However, instead of moving towards the food, he stopped directly in front of you. Before you could say anything, he’d trapped you against the wall.
“I… I’m sorry… I can’t help myself.” His lips quickly captured yours and you both forgot the food rather immediately.
Lan Jinyi:
“I’m home!” About time! You’d been waiting for well over thirty minutes and you were worried the incense would’ve started affecting you. However, the lady at the shop insisted and promised that it would only affect our husband. How she was so sure, you didn’t know. But you didn’t question it too much… until you were waiting for your husband to come home.
How were you so sure it wasn’t poisoned? The incense could’ve easily killed you and your husband would’ve come home to your corpse. Wasn’t that a bit reckless of you?
“Hey, there you are.” You jumped when you saw your husband’s face inches away from your own. “You ok? Normally, you always greet me when I come home.” You pushed a smile onto your face and nodded.
“I’m ok! I promise! Um… maybe we should go out for a walk!” You suggested, nervously giggling as you stood up. If the incense was indeed poisoned, it would be best to get away now. You’d already inhaled quite a bit of it but you were fine, for now. You’d get checked by a doctor later.
“Why? It’s late, besides didn’t you have a long day? Shouldn’t we just rest?” He asked as he tugged your arm, causing you to fall into his lap.
“Yeah, but I feel like going for a walk! Come on! Pleaseeee!” You said, giving him your best puppy dog eyes. Unable to say no to you, Jingyi nodded.
“Alright, sure.” However, when you tried to stand up, you couldn’t. There was something in his eyes, something you didn’t see often. You settled back in feeling that happy-go-lucky atmosphere melting away as a more intimate one set in. Jingyi leaned in, pulling you closer too. Your lips melded together perfectly and any need to leave the house was immediately quelled.
Jin Ling:
You were excited to see a new side to Jin Ling. The woman had promised there would be no negative side effects to the incense, so you had that assurance. Jin Ling was rather… difficult when it came to romance. Sure, he let you know he loved you on many occasions, but he would always be really shy about it. Sometimes he’d roll his eyes when he told you he loved you.
None of these hurt your feelings, he’d never let that happen. But to see him SWOON over you… that was something that excited you. The incense had been burning for about thirty minutes now and you were just waiting for Jin Ling to get home.
You heard the door open and perked up, trying to hide the mischievous smile on your face. You ran out of your bedroom to greet your husband, giving him a welcoming smile.
“Welcome home!” You giggled, jumping in his arms and giving him a kiss on the cheek. He caught you rather easily and moved to the side, placing the sword on it’s holder.
“Thank you, how were you today?”
“Good! I really missed you!” You pouted, making him huff as he set you down gently.
“Yeah well… I am pretty amazing so it makes sense.” You giggled and shook your head as he walked into the house. He smelled the air, stopping for a second as he felt his head spin. It smelled pretty good, but he’d never expected the incense to give him a headache.
“Are you ok?”
“Yeah… yeah, I’m ok.” He responded as you quickly poured him a cup of water. He took slow and steady sips before looking up at you as you took the cup from him.
“Don’t tell me you overworked yourself today. I told you not to.” He shook his head as his eyes trailed down your form.
“No… you just look really beautiful today.” You paused, feeling your cheeks heat up a little.
“O-oh, thank you.” Before you could even suggest anything, he reached out and gently let his finger brush against your cheek.
“Soft too, did you know your cheeks are soft? Sometimes, I just want to hold them. But then when we make eye contact, it makes my heart beat so fast I get dizzy.” Ok this was definitely the incense working, because Jin Ling wouldn’t just say that out of nowhere.
“I- well thank you. That’s very sweet of you.” You smiled, making him smile as well.
“Oh, now they’re warm. Are you blushing? Because it looks good on you.”
“The blush?” He nodded, leaning in before gently kissing your lips. It was almost tantalizing. Without much of a warning, Jin Ling pushed you down onto the sofa.
“I’m sorry-” He captured your lips once more and you’d never been more grateful for that new incense you bought.
Ouyang Zizhen:
Now why did you buy this incense exactly? There wasn’t anything lacking in your relationship. You’d asked the woman even more questions after you bought it and it was obvious she got annoyed. She still answered all of your questions thoroughly, which is why you were sitting here right now.
The incense had been burning for almost 45 minutes now and you kept thinking about why you’d bought it. Zizhen never hid his emotions from you, he was always rather lovey-dovey. He complimented you whenever he could, told you he loved you, and just showed his emotions often in general.
While you were thinking about opening the windows to get the smell out, the door opened and you heard your husband’s voice come through.
“I’m home!” Well… too late now. You fixed your hair and stood up, going to greet him.
“Welcome home! I missed you!” He smiled brightly as he gave you a hug, placing a kiss on your lips.
“It smells really good in here. Did you buy new incense?” You nodded immediately.
“I did! I thought it might’ve been too much so I was thinking about opening the windows up!” Zizhen shook his head at your words.
“No! It smells great! Wow, you look different. Did you… no your hair is the same, you’re just glowing today.” You blushed at his words, shaking your head.
“That’s sweet of you.”
“I mean it! You look really good today and-” His excitable mood stopped abruptly and you looked up at him, tilting your head.
“Yes?” He was silently staring at your lips, making no effort to move at all. “Are you o-” He interrupted your words with a deep, intense kiss. You couldn’t complain as he easily picked you up, letting you wrap your legs around his waist.
“I… sorry… I just can’t stop.”

Heyoooo!
You may or may not know this but i have a huge crush on LJY . He can personally break a chair over my head and i’d thank him
sorry for the short post
it’s really late at night— i just needed this to help calm me down so i could sleep
᠃ ⚘᠂ ⚘ ˚ ⚘ ᠂ ⚘ ᠃
Lan Jingyi relationship hcs
He has a huge tendency to get into trouble due to his personality. he’d doesn’t really want to drag you into it. Unless you pretend to be his fake lawyer and agree to help him out, he doesn’t want you involved.
He’ll tease you a lot and banter with you. He expects you to keep it going until you either can’t come up with anything or change the topic
If he gets mad at WWX, you’ll probably want to hold him back before he does something ridiculous or says something rude.
Not a huge fan of PDA and thinks that kinda stuff should be private — he loves holding pinkies though
When it come to handholding, his hands aren’t really that soft or rough. It’s kinda like a middle ground
I’d like to think he has soft lips and is a really good kisser. Despite his energy and personality, he’s really gentle when it comes to you
He also likes cuddling a lot. Whenever LJY is mad, he usually goes to you so you can calm him down.
Will go from being so talkative you just want him to shut up one day to being the living embodiment of a tree stump the next
No matter what happens, he’ll always love you even if he has his unique ways of showing it
