OHMYGOSH, so many people are requesting UWU. ❤️ When I said the Juniors get the most love around here, I wasn't joking! (which of course is great, our lovely boys deserve the love) A day after making a post about having 3 similar asks, appeared a wild 4th one, so here we are, killing 4 birds with one stone! From what I recall, the boys are 16 (legal in my country) but for the sake of being politically accurate and tastefully uncreepy, I'll still age them up ~ This was quite difficult to write, since I'd never even so much as considered writing anything remotely un-soft for the boys, but I hope you ike it anyways. Jin Ling

My gosh, getting him to undress would be difficult. For real, even after a thousand years of being in a relationship with you, he'd still be embarrassed when it comes to physical touch of any sort. Not to say he wouldn't want it, he just has to go through a semi-tsundere mini meltdown first. But worry not, it would only take him a minute to get over it.

Jin Ling? More like Jin Long. (I'm sorry) He may not be the girthiest of them all, but let me tell you - he takes great pride in his length.

He may act tough and macho, but underneath all that hot-headedness is somebody, who absolutely loves being coddled. More often than not, he'd let you take over the reigns, but believe me he won't go down without a fight. He is the absolute dictionary definition of a bratty bottom. In fact he the brattiest bottom. You want him to undress? Undress him yourself if you're so eager. But in reality, he'd be ready to indulge you in absolutely everything you wish.

Jin Ling is a sucker for praise. Tell him how good he is, praise him and he'll become putty in your hands. There's nothing he loves more than hearing you moan his name out in utter bliss. Knowing he's the one who brings you so much pleasure really strokes his ego, so to say.With Jin Ling, gentle gestures and kind words can get you very far.

He gets surprisingly dominant and demanding when jealous. The one sure way to get him to pound you into the mattress is making him jealous. It really only takes a random unsuspecting boy to chat you up the wrong way and you'd be in for the dicking of a lifetime. (as an aftermath, following a metric ton of complaining and passive agressive anger) He would absolutely mark up your skin as well - a precaution.

Sometimes, he might MIGHT get jealous of the other Juniors. Maybe you'd spent more time with them, or payed them more attention. Sometimes he'd be at work and miss out. Then, you'd have to remind him, that no matter what, only he gets to see you sprawled on his bed, his name on your lips, and tje sweet smell of sex in the air.

Speaking of work, you would be his best stress relief. After a long day of boring sect business, returning home and getting to ravish you would be his ideal evening, although he would never admit it. During those moments, where exhaustion would get the best of both of you, yet sleep would not come, passionate night of lovemaking would be the remedy for all your problems. And with those burning emotions in his heart, such nights would be the most memorable.

Lan Sizhui

You'd think Lan Sizhui would be the purest, most innocent of the Juniors, and you wouldn't be wrong, but at the same time you wouldn't be right either. Overtime, he'd transform from this sweet, gentle lover, who always makes sure you finish first, to this super experimental, utterly intoxicating beaST, who still makes sure you finish first. The more he gets accustomed to your body, the more confident and daring he'd become.

He's been pretty touch-starved for most of his life, so getting intimate with you would take some readjustment from him. Every single touch would excite him, every gentle moan would make his heart melt. And this sensitivity of his would, in turn, seek intimacy even more. He'd want nothing more than to hold you close and make you shiver in delight, to hear his name escape your lips and have you all to himself.

He'd be absolutely willing to experiment. Anything you'd want to try, he'd love to try with you. Here is a good time to say, he's also a pretty versatile switch. And he wouldn't verbally admit it, but the sounds he'd make and how he'd move to give you more access to his skin is a perfect enough sign.

He isn't too rough per se and would much prefer lovemaking over straight up fucking, so quickies aren't all that common. He wants to take his time with you and explore your body. He'd nearly always rather wait until the bed at home is an option.

In general, sex with a Lan is like sex with an elf - beautiful, breathtaking, memorable. Lan Sizhui is no exception, though he'd go to great lengths for you. After all, there's nothing better than seeing you fucked out, drowning in pleasure.

Lan Jingyi

This boy, my gosh, this boy. Out of all the Juniors, this boy is the most dominant one. And when I say dominant, I mean he is the only one, who comes with all the jazz - bondage, teasing, roleplay, you name it - he'll do it. He is lowkey the kinkiest, who'll do nearly anything just to get you off. And honestly, he takes great pride in that.

His sex drive is that of a goddamn rabbit. There is rarely a moment he wouldn't want to be buried between your legs. His motto is "the more the wetter better". For that reason, being away from you for long is his worst nightmare. Not being able to hold you? To kiss you? To make love to you? Blasphemous. So, the moment you two see each other, after some time of being away, he'd be all over you. Of course, sex is far from being the only thing on his mind, but it it's a giant plus, which he wouldn't want to miss.

Lan Jingyi is a sucker for legs, no matter what length, especially thighs. He loves feeling you wrap your legs around him, or squeeze his head between your thighs. He is a firm believer, that this is the best way to go. Nine times out of ten, whenever you two are making out, his hands would be all over your legs. He just can't help himself.

Out of all the juniors, since he is the most experimental, so with some coaxing he might agree to a threesome. Of course, that would be much later in your relationship, when your mutual trust is hard as a rock. (and not only that) Though, he'd want to pick the 3rd person involved! (most likely Sizhui)

He would absolutely introduce food in bed. Actually, that would happen completely accidentally. It would all start with a handful of loquats, which you'd bring to him while away on a trip together. You'd feed each other the lush fruits between heated kisses, enjoying each other's company and he'd realize, that he could combine 2 of his favourite things - you and food. He would absolutely want to get you off somewhere in Gusu. The very idea of doing something so dirty and profane at a place with so many strict rules would turn him on to no end. And the thrill of potentially getting caught would be like a catalyst to him. The library pavillion? The cold springs? Just let it be in Gusu. His own chambers just aren't satisfying enough, they aren't risky enough.

He would quickly get addicted to you and your body, and when that happens - there is just no going back. Though I doubt you'd want to.

Ouyang Zizhen

Ouyang Zizhen is quite the catch through and through. There is nobody quite as cheeky as this man right here. As the proud, versatile, daredevil-esque boy that he is, he would love to tease the everloving god out of you in every single way possible. But the moment you tease him back, he'd be in shambles. He would totally sneak inappropriate touches whenever in public, but run a hand up his leg under the table while having dinner, or perhaps a friendly get-together, and suddenly his cheeks would go beet red and he'd go through a mini existential crisis.

Your long, heated nights together would become his reckoning. He'd never truly admit it, but goddamn, he'd become so addicted, to the feeling, the excitement. Especially when it comes to having sex in public.

Speaking of, while he wouldn't openly talk about your adventures in bed, he'd absolutely drop little hints about it in piblic, whenever you're freshly fucked and easy to tease. Intentionally letting himself look more disheveled than usual, pointing out any "little marks" showing on your skin and of course - that knowing smirk of his. And believe me, he fully expects payback.

The other member who might, MIGHT agree to a threesome would be Ouyang Zizhen. He is a curious man, who would like to try anything you have to offer, though jealousy could be a side effect. He'd want to have a say in who'd be the 3rd person. And while having two women succumb to his every beg and call is a very well-hidden desire of his, at this point he is so invested and in love with you, that such thoughts are out of the question.

Nie Mingjue

Have you ever seen a boulder cry? No? Well now you have. The moment he learns you are pregnant, with HIS child, a child symbolising the strong love you have for each other, he'd go deadly soft. No, he wouldn't necessarily cry, but if you squinted you'd notice how his eyes would turn slightly glossy.

For once his constant scowl will actually disappear and he'd look (and feel) genuinely happy.

At first, he'd stay silent, thinking over what you'd just told him, before lifting you up gently (as gently as Mr.Muscle can) and giving you a big hug. Then he'd let go of you, straighten up and resume his previous resting scowl.

"I will do my best to be a good father."

Truthfully, most of the cultivation world didn't think he could even actually keep a lover around for long, much less go as far as to start a family, so news of a little Nie heir would come as quite literally - a shock. Suddenly, the entire world's eyes would be on you, much to Nie Mingjue's displeasure. Because of that, he'd become MUCH more protective of you. The world can be cruel, people can be cruel and life can be unfair, so he'd make sure absolutely nothing can hurt you.

Before he learned you are pregnant, he was already pretty gentle with you, but after telling him - he doubles on the care. He'd randomly come check up on you through out the day under the pretence of having to ask you about your opinion on "very serious matters at hand".

He'd also double on the meditiation sessions, trying to best his anger for the sake of your well-being. In fact, as secretly nervous as he is about the whole situation, somehow the very thought of you and your future child would bring peace to his heart. Though that is something Zewu-jun would conveniently forget mentioning to him. Alas, he'd suddenly remember once the two sat down for a cup of tea.

Nie Mingjue would secretly hope he could teach his child about the art of war and have actual proper sparring sessions, which he couldn't have with his brother. He would occasionally imagine, telling him stories of their ancestors, choosing their saber, showing them all of the Nie traditions and so on and so forth.

He'd also vow not to let his child turn into another Huaisang. (although knowing how complacent Nie Mingjue can be when it comes to his loved ones, spoiling this kid ROTTEN wouldn't be too far from the realm of possibilities.) Frankly, as long as his child can grow up to take good care of themself and the sect, he'd be content either way.

And above all, he'd be thankful, that he ended up with a family made on the foundations of mutual understanding and respect, and a child on the way, which is a symbol of true love.

Nie Huaisang

Denial.

Confusion.

Acceptance.

Does he absolutely love you to death? No questions asked. But the news of a child would catch him completely unprepared, which is fairly uncommon for the all-seeing mastermind that is Nie Huaisang.

Suddenly, saber practice and tests at Gusu seemed like a breeze. That isn't to say he wouldn't be happy, or glad, or proud - believe me, he'd be ELATED. It's just- is he ready to be a father? Is he ready to raise a child? Is he ready to be a ...role-model? Create a legacy?!

"But- I'm trash. What if I can't take care of this child? What if I fail at raising it? What if I'm a dead-beat dad? What if I die suddenly? What if war starts? What if the child doesn't like me? OH MY GOD WHAT IF THE CHILD DOESN'T LI-"

Please save him from his own self-doubt, he's more worried than Wei Wuxian and his self-worth equals that of a washing sponge. In reality, Nie Huaisang is so used to being underestimated, considered a mere spoiled prince, that the determination and unconditional love in your eyes would take him aback. Even more so, the trust you have in him, especially for raising a child, would leave him speechless.

And then would come the realization of the situation - he will be a father. And he will start a family with the love of his life, successfully continuing the Nie lineage. He'd be well-aware of the humongous responsibility that comes with raising a child and after taking a breather, he'd be more that ready to take on the world. And god forbid anybody dares say anything about his family.

After that whole fiasco, things would actually die down. Nie Huaisang is no idiot. The more obnoxious he is, the more unwanted attention he'd bring about. He'd be pretty casual with his care, often just lying with you, making blind guesses about the baby.

Sometimes, just to get a reaction, he'd ask like a spoiled child "are we close now" "are you there yet" and so on and so forth, generally aiming at making you laugh.

He has already made up his mind - once the child is born and is given a name, he'd paint it on the finest wooden fan imaginable. In FACT, getting to teach said child how to paint would his little not-so-secret dream.

As long as you're healthy, Nie Huaisang would more more than content with this turn of events. In fact, he'd be so proud to have you by his side.

Deep down he'd be totally soft and utterly emotional over the fact that he'll be a father, but those are emotions saved for later stages of your life together. (wait till you actually give birth)

Jin Guangyao

Imagine the sweetest, fondest stare in the history of stares ever. That is what you'll first see, once you inform Jin Guangyao of your pregnancy.

"What truly joyful news, my love."

He may be many things, many things indeed, but he isn't unattentive. You are his wife, his lover, the mother of his child and he would take great responsibility for that. He'd take care of you more than ever before, though he's always been extremely considerate.

Any darkness or intent of murder in his heart would dissipate once he sees you, and tripple should anybody so much as look at you the wrong way. After all, he has enough experience in the art of murder to know how to get around.

Living in a brothel with his mother showed him how harsh the world and society can be, so he'd vow to himself to give you and your child the life you deserve. Remembering everything his own father, if you could call him that, had or hadn't done for him, he has been given a good example of what not to do. He's promised to himself to be a good, loving father, who'd raise his child right. Simply he'd want his child to grow up without having to worry about surviving.

He'd fall utterly in love with this child before it is even born. He'd be constantly talking to your stomach, stroking if gently, leaving sweet kisses along your skin. That of course would only happen behind closed doors, yet the more your belly would grow, the more you'd get to spend time with Jin Guangyao.

While he wouldn't make a big deal out of your pregnancy, he wouldn't really hide it either. Lan Xichen, of course, would be first fo know, so he'd quickly come to give the two of you his blessings. Slowly news of the future heir would travel, so Jin Guanguao's overly cautious behavior would double. You'd still be allowed to go outside, of course, he is no monster, (his words, not mine) but he'd require you to go down town only when accompanied by him, or one of your most trusted people. He'd have spies everywhere, all to ensure your well-being.

He'd know almost immediately whenever you'd feel sick or generally uncomfortable because of the baby. And he'd be prepared with natural herbal remedies, massages and a ton of cuddles. Simply, he'd respond to your every beg and call. (I mean- he already does that but shhh)

Despite being, essentially, a criminal mastermind, there is no denying he is intelligent, resourceful, diligent and a good leader, in the core of it. Now, to that list can be added a good husband and a great father. After all, he'd want his child, no matter the gender, to be treated with respect and given all of the love it would require - what he always wanted, yet never received.

@imagine-mdzs-cql - I am constantly crying, that there isn't more content *yet*, since their writing is 👌👌👌 top notch. They do both ch x ch and reader inserts.

@qiandengs - One of my FAVE reader insert blogs. They write both about MDZS and TGCF, so you get a 2 in 1 deal. Honestly, their wiriting is SO EXTREMELY good I can't EVEN djsjsj. I tend to reread their works all the time occasionally. 👉👈

Growing up in Gusu for most of his life, Lan Sizhui is pretty touch starved, so affection is something fairly new to him. In fact he's never gotten much further than the occasional pat on the head from Lan Wangji. So when you came around, at least at first, he was unsure of what to do.

But don't confuse his hesitation with disdain. He is 100% loving each and every touch. He secretly longs for closure, he just prefers not to outwardly show it.

Cuddle sessions with Lan Sizhui are the dictionary definition of Heaven. He always emits a soothing aura, which engulfs you completely whenever the two of you snuggle. He loves to just hold you close, play with your hair, or gently stroke your sides. While his touch always holds a hint of sensuality, MOST of the time his intentions are completely pure.

He loves it when you just lie in each other's embrace, turned to one another. He gets to see your beautiful face and bury his face in your soft hair. It's his ideally spent afternoon.

Out in public, any kind of affection is left at a bare minimum, after all he is a Lan. That often leads to Sizhui throwing you longing stares, or intentionally brushing against you. In all honesty, he just isn't sure how to go about asking for affection.

The moment you two are left alone, he becomes much more relaxed, playing with your hands, hugging you and leaving sweet kisses on your forehead.

Speaking of kisses, out of the Juniors, his kisses are the absolute best. They are always sweet and meaningful, always true. And he loves kisses, too. Most often, he leaves longing kisses on the back of your hands, your palms or knuckles. It's a small gesture of love he shows you. Kisses on the cheek aren't uncommon as well.

But nothing beats the sweet kisses he leaves on your lips after being away for a while, or perhaps after a long day full of chores.

He isn't overly affectionate, his love is shown through small touches and the time spent with you. To him, simply being with you is more than enough.

Lan Jingyi

Lan Jingyi is a powerhouse of enthusiasm and energy, so cuddling with him is NEVER calm. You expected to lie down with your lover, snuggle into him and slowly drift off? wrONG. He won't let you relax, ever.

First of all, the boy is fidgety as hell. He would be nearly constantly moving around, trying to get comfortable. (much similar to how he sleeps) Good luck staying in one position for more than 5 minutes. And once he does find a comfortable enough position, joking ensues. It's always light-hearted and sweet, after all - his goal is to put a smile on your face, but you should be prepared to kiss resting goodbye.

Tickle fights aren't a novelty either. It's just so tempting for him to wrap his arms around your waist and bring you to tears from tickling. And sometimes, tickle fights go a whole other direction.

Most of his affection is the equivalent of a storm. One moment he's pulling on your hair, saying you gotta brush it once in a while, the next he's tenderly holding you in a big bear hug, whispering in your ear how much he absolutely adores you. And you never know what to expect. The perfect definition of everything a gentlemanly Lan must not be.

If Lan Sizhui holds the title for best kisses, Lan Jingyi holds it for best hugs. Whenever you feel down, or you're tired, or perhaps you just need a little love, he'd come up to you, wrap his surprisingly strong arms around you and pull you in for the most loving, most comfortable and most sincere hug.

He loves giving you back hugs, it makes him feel manlier. You'd be cooking, or perhaps talking to somebody when he'd sneak up to you and hug you from behind, burying his face in your hair.

Truly, he's a little awkward with love. He is a child at heart, so openly showing affection is a tad too new for him. PDA isn't a crime in his eyes and he'd gladly hold your hand (or rather drape an arm over your shoulders, but oh well - semantics) but showing you off, or kissing you in public would be left only for moments when he'd feel a little jealous. Otherwise, longing kisses, gentle caresses and jumbled sweet nothings would be reserved for the comfort of your home.

He isn't exactly the most gentle cuddler, but he has no problem expressing his love for you in any and every way he sees fits. Survive his tickle attacks and you'd get the cuddles and loving of a lifetime.

Ouyang Zizhen

Out of all the Juniors, affection comes the most naturally to Ouyang Zizhen. In fact, he is the biggest, most devoted fan of anything involving cuddling, holding hands, or generally being close to one another. He has no problem showing off your love, even in public.

His favourite hobby is cuddling you. It's his own personal little heaven. He tries to act tough and manly for you, but in reality he is one big teddy bear. His obsession with cuddles has become so bad, that he cannot fall asleep without snuggling next to you. There is nothing that relaxes him more, than hearing your calm heartbeat and feeling the warmth of your body next to his.

Speaking of cuddling, Ouyang Zizhen is ALWAYS the big spoon, no questions asked. It's not about manliness, but about his inner desire to be your protection. Knowing you're safe in his embrace allows him to let loose. Although, if you ask him, he'll only deny it, stating it's his 'job' to be the big spoon, or some other half-assed excuse you wouldn't quite make sense of.

Now, Ouyang Zizhen LOVES PDA. Kissing you in public is no problem. In fact, whenever you're outside, he loves to just touch you all the time. From holding hands, to playing with your hair, he wants the world to know, thst only he's allowed to do it. Respond to his little advances and he'd be on cloud nine. You're his lover, so why not show it.

The best way, in which he shows affection is massages. This fluffball of a man is a warrior through and through, and he uses his strength to massage your stress away after a long day of being away from one another. With a personal collection of essential oils and herbal mixes, he'd occasionally indulge you in a personal spa evening. It's his way of telling you he cares. He'd run you a nice bath, massage you, while leaving sweet kisses along your spine, he'd even brush your hair for you. Afterwards, whether you two would leave it at that and snuggle up to fall asleep, or decide to indulge in one another in other ways, would almost always be your decision.

Likewise, give him a nice, relaxing massage after working all day, and he'd be absolute putty in your hands. He'd be willing to give you everything.....after you finish fighting with those difficult, aching spots on his body.

Ouyang Zizhen doesn't understand the taboo of showing affection in public and it shows. After all, he's a modern day man in Ancient China™️

Jin Ling

Tsundere.

Oh Tsundere.

Jin Ling? Showing affection? Being sweet? Blasphemy. He is a man, he doesn't need love, he's not a child. Wait where are you going? You shouldn't run away like that. Here. Grab his hand, so that you don't get lost.

Truthfully, Jin Ling absolutely loves affection, he just hates the idea of it. To him, cuddling and kissing are a sign of weakness. Such loving gestures are much too intimate to be seen by the public or him and must be kept in private. He is a sect leader, what if somebody decides to target you??

Public display of affection is death. The moment you two so much as brush your hands, his face would turn 50 shades of red and he'd forget how to function. And god forbid you hug him, or kiss him, he might explode. In the later stages of the relationship, he'd open up a little more to the idea of physical touch. He'd kiss you on the head for hello and and on the lips for goodbye, (oddly specific much?) but he'd never stop blushing everytime he does it.

Hugs are pretty intimate with him too. They mean he trusts you enough to drop his guard and let you into his personal space. He usually hugs you when he's afraid, upset or he hasn't seen you in a long time.

Cuddling is strange to him. He grew up with his strict uncle, who didn't dote on him too much. So, having you stay so close to him, on your shared bed, is still so ...new. He is lowkey the little spoon, but don't mention it, or he'll outright refuse to cuddle you for the next two weeks. He secretly adores to lie on your chest or thighs, to have your scent engulf him completely. You are his safe space, after all.

Play with his hair and he's a goner. Something he inherited from his father is the hidden love for a gentle touch. Brush his hair, play with it all you want. At first he might complain, but worry not, he actually enjoys it profusely. It makes him feel loved.

Simply, cuddling is his religion, though he'd also deny that. Everyday, he awaits that moment, where you get to lie in each other's embrace, enjoying the comfortable silence.

Mostly, he shows his love and affection through constant nagging.

"Be careful. You'll trip." "The soup is too hot."

Even in cuddling, his overprotective nature shines through. "Your arm will fall asleep."

"You can't breathe." "Yes I can." "No, you can'T."

Give him time. The more you let him ease into the idea of affection, the more he'd open up to you. He has lacked physical love all his life, he is harsh because he doesn't know how to act differently, so be patient with him. Sooner or later, he'd find his own way to show you how incredibly much he actually loves you.

Hello, hello lovely people~ I'm here with a little update regarding requests. We have a few questions, which I'm currently working on. There will be a small delay in answering all of them, since I'm on vacation, but worry not, they will all be done!✌️✌️

I won't be closing requests, since I want you guys to always be able to send in new ideas. (besides, requests aren't an ungodly number yet.) However, please do note, that it takes me a few days to finish a request. Especially now, that I'm on vacation and we don't really get much free time.

Also, I've noticed that a lot of you really love the Juniors. Honestly, I ain't omplainin'~ ❤️❤️ But it's an observation I made a while ago and it's pretty interesting, since every mdzs writer I follow on here has a character/s, requested more than the rest, and it's different for each blog.

Anywayssss, I'm really glad I'm getting requests and that you guys enjoy reading my stuff!!! I've seen a good few posts about the mdzs fandom being kinda mean, and tbh I haven't met a single mean person yet! (Hopefully it stays like that)

oh god it's so good to see someone that like the bad guys as much as I do, these characters are so well done that it's really hard to hate them. Honestly, I've noticed a tendency where people who like the bad guys in MDZS are treated a little differently. Sooooo, not many people admit to liking them in the first place, but WE'RE HERE TO CHANGE THAT! 🙌 I totally feel that "I hate that I love you" y'know? And they are portrayed as inherently human. They make mistskes, they are selfish, but they weren't born evil, they became deranged under the pressure of society. That's why they are so relatable and just UGH. This became a rant, I'm sorry! Anyways, here is your daily dose of JGY love ❤️ Also, bonding over mutual hatred for JGS is my K.I.N.K.

Reminiscing

How very...odd.

Jin Guangyao was never one to trust blindly, or at all for that matter. Yet the more time you'd spend together, the more relenting he'd become.

A mere two years ago you were a runaway from an insignificant sect, finding solace and protection on Lanling grounds and now - his closest confidant and dearest friend along with Sect Leader Lan Xichen. No, you two were far beyond friendship. And looking back on it, he wasn't sure how it happened. What he did remember, however, was the moment he felt his heart skip a beat around you, the moment he knew you were much more than a dear friend.

The two of you were hidden away in the comfort of his chambers, you - cleaning and patching up the open wound on his forehead from the impact when his father threw him down the stairs. It was extremely embarrassing for him, how you were there to witness the peak of his humiliation, a father completely disregarding his son, going as far as to physically abuse him, the words he despised on his lips - Son of a Whore.

Yet you never showed any indignation or disgust, not towards him anyways. The nasty stare was directed towards Jin Guangshan the entire time. You'd sprinted towards Meng Yao, a metric ton of worry in your eyes. You'd stood by his side the entire time, while his father was slandering him. You couldn't do much to help, yet you stayed through it all. And the moment you'd noticed blood dripping from his head, you practically dragged him away.

And so there the two of you stood, sitting on the bed, you dabbing away the blood dripping down his forehead. And that's when he saw it - the smallest of tears in the corner of your eye, threatening to fall. They say the eyes are a window to the soul. As he was staring into the depth of yours, he realised it was true - for the first time, it was as if he'd seen the entirety of your heart reflect within them. You were never one to actively hide your emotions, but he'd always found himself questioning your motives. At that moment, though - it was as clear as it gets.

"A-Yao", you'd mumbled out his name, gently cupping his cheek. You sounded sad, angry, distressed, worried.

"You don't have to say anything.", he'd answered right back, his own hand resting on top of yours.

"One day. One day we'll make him pay for everything. He has no right to treat you like that. You're more of a man than he'll ever even dream of being. " your tone was hushed, careful, yet screamed anger. Meng Yao smiled at your words. So long you'd stayed by his side and even now you were relentless. "It won't be easy. He is the sect leader after all. He's the one holding the Jin name."

"So what? There's one of him and two of us. You re much more than you think, much smarter and much more resourseful. He won't stand a chance. One day justice will be served. Besides, I like your name much better. At least you're not hiding behind yours. "

That's when he realised - truly, he wasn't alone, not since he met you. You were ready to stay by his side until the very end. And at that moment he allowed himself to believe it. Without a second thought, he pulled you in for a gentle kiss, one you reciprocated almost immediately. You wrapped your hands around his neck, burying your fingers in his hair. He pulled you closer, resting his forehead gently on yours. You didn't need to say anything after that. This was your unspoken promise - a promise of a bright future, together.

...

As he stood atop his lonely throne, now proud leader of Lanling Jin, he couldn't help but reminisce about those days. He couldn't help but remember each and every challenge, every obstacle, all the pain the two of you endured together. At the end of it all - it had always been you. The only one who saw him for who he was. The only one who'd made all his walls crumble and all his masks burn. The one who loved him for everything he was and nothing more.

No, what had flourished between the two of you wasn't just love - it was respect, a mutual understanding exceeding the limit of "love". Or perhaps that's what love is.

"A-Yao, what is troubling your mind?", your soft voice pulled him out of his entrancing thoughts.

He turned to look at you - his biggest treasure, his strongest anchor and his only weakness. "Reminiscing." Your knowing smile sent shivers down his spine. You reached out and took hold of his hand, intertwining your fingers with his. Gently he brought your hand to his lips, leaving a kiss on your skin.

If this is what love is, then finally Jin Guangyao understood why it is worth dying for.

Lan Xichen seems to be the sweeter, more mellow of the Twin Jades, but don't let that fool you. He is a wolf in sheep's clothing through and through. Behind that sweet smile there is an absolute beast. Part of the Lan genes, ig.

While sex isn't exactly the first thing on his mind, he's had his moments of weakness. But when you came into his life, it was a whole other story. Hello, hello! I'm doing great, slowly beginning to prepare for the upcoming year of university! (or so I'd like to believe)

When it comes to MDZS, I have love to give to nearly all characters, (except JGS and a few other disasters) but I do have a few that really own my heart. ❤️

Wei Wuxian is one of them. I rarely fall for the main character, but Wei Wuxian is an exception I'm willing to admit. His whole demeanor, especially considering his backstory, his big mouth and genius jokes just got me, you know. And as a character he really caught my interest. Not to mention, that I relate to him quite a bit. Just 10/10

Jin Guangyao is a prime example of "Alice always loving the bad guys." There is just something so satisfying in his "kill 'em but be kind" attitude, which mirrors WWX's "kill 'em with kindness" one. His entire backstory, and the fact that he IS indeed an intelligent young beautiful man, an excellent leader and a great diplomat - things you don't want to admit, yet you KNOW are a fact deep down. I'm sold.

Speaking of bad guys, Mr. Psycho Xue Yang over here. You got a problem? Kill it lol. I can't NOT love the tastefully problematic man himself. As much as I love the whole "bad guys are human too" trope going around, sometimes I just need a bad guy that's just bad for the sake of being bad. Not that he doesn't have a difficult backstory, a reason to be like he is. He is still a victim of circumstance, but his psycho nature and the total devastation he causes are beyond redemption and I LOVE IT.

And last, but most CERTAINLY not least - the man, the legend, Nie Huaisang - the good bad guy. There is something so incredibly alluring in a character, who purposefully plays dumb the entire time, only to be revealed as the pupeteer, playing everybody else like it's chess. As a huge fan of mystery novels and conspiracies, Nie "I don't know anything" Huaisang, who hides behind the symbolic mask of a fan and quietly plans your downfall is just 👌👌👌👌

Nie Mingjue should be up there too usually, since he's the closest to the mentality of my country, but I'll leave him just as a mention, because we just DON'T SEE ENOUGH OF HIM.

I'm so glad you enjoy my writing! Honestly, I was worried I might be ooc, or not detailed enough or god knows what else. Anyhoo, Sizhui definitely deserves a memorable fluffy wedding night! Once more, I delved into the deep end of artsy, overly-descriptive mild sensuality, but since it worked for XXC, why shouldn't it for LSZ. I hope you like it!

State of Dreaming

Do you know that dream-like state of utter peace, where you're swimming somewhere in the middle, between consciousness and sleep, where reality mixes with fantasy, right before you close your eyelids?

Lan Sizhui never thought he'd feel something as mystical while being fully awake, but as he stared into the widened pupils of your eyes, illuminated by the faint candle light in the room, he felt his own consciousness slip away into euphoria. He cupped your face with one hand, pulling you in for a slow and loving kiss. If you were his dream, he never wanted to wake up.

Lan Sizhui had been imagining this day for so long, it nearly became a memory - a wedding, neither grand, nor flashy, not extravagant, or wild, but sweet, memorable and true. You, his lover, his other half, his soulmate, everything he's ever wanted - dressed from head to toe in traditional, ornate red, rivalling the beauty of a wild rose. And of course - the promise, the promise of a bright future together, of a shared life, of infinite companionship, of unconditional love, support and understanding.

The entire night was a blur of dancing, laughing, enjoying each other's company, simply living in the moment. Once the later hours of the night rolled around and the celebration was nearing its end, the two of you decided to finally retire to your room. "The night is still young", he'd whispered in your ear, taking your hand in his and quietly leading you away.

And now, amidst expensive silks you lay, a beacon of beauty and innocence, leaving him utterly breathless. A single flutter of your eyelashes was enough to make his heart flutter like a thousand butterflies. Each breath you took, every movement, every heated stare, everything sent his mind spiralling out of control. No longer aware of his surroundings, he leaned in for a languid kiss.

"Even the world's most mystical views are dull by comparison with your beauty", he barely whispered into your lips, hands gently trailing along your smooth skin. "Even the sun pales in comparison with you", you answered right back, a playful smile adoring your face. His hushed chuckles were enough to set your own heart aflame. Pulling him ever closer, as if he'd slip right through your fingers if you let go, the two of you rolled around the silk sheets, innocent giggles and breathless whispers - the only sound filling the room.

"I could stay here with you forever", Sizhui mumbled with a loving smile and a small blush on his cheeks. "We have all eternity to ourselves", you answered right back, running a hand through his thick, dark locks of hair. "Let us grow old together and leave our own shared legacy behind.", he declared and another arrow was shot right through your heart. "Will you still love me, when I'm old and gray, and feeble?"you asked, nearly getting lost in the abyss of his eyes.

"A life with you has become my most cherished dream. Even when the world turns its back on us and the sky comes crashing down, I will always and forever love you. " His confession as if made the the stars in the sky tremble with admiration.

"Until my very dying breath, until there's nothing left of me, until the very end of time, I will love you with all of my heart." And that was all he'd ever hoped to hear. He moved to leave a kiss your head.

They say home is where the heart is.

They also say, that sometimes home is not a place - it's a person.

Sizhui was home.
