I just completely let go of a friendship to someone I’ve known for almost half my life.

We weren’t super close, not anymore. We used to be. I limited my contact with her as time went on.

She has BPD but her stance is that people should accept her as she is and she shouldn’t have to change her behaviours. And I finally reached a point where I just can’t do it anymore, even from afar.

I still don’t think she’s evil or a bad person. I just can’t maintain a relationship with her for my own mental health.

I guess my point of this is if you’re even wanting to get better, that’s a lot of credit you deserve for that. That’s progress in itself. And if you don’t want to get better, well you still aren’t evil or anything like that.

But also my point is that it’s okay to let go of friendships that aren’t working for you. I should have probably done it sooner but I wasn’t ready so I went from living with her and hanging out with her all the time to hanging out with her sometimes to now where we occasionally messaged. And even now, that’s done. I knew her for 18 years so I really wanted to try but I think I knew it was done when I didn’t even consider inviting her to my wedding. I couldn’t trust her and seeing her exhausted me.

And before I get the inevitable accusations that I’m painting all people with BPD as abusive. That’s not at all what I’m saying but there is a difference between someone taking accountability and trying to do better verses someone who goes “you should just accept me as I am” about their toxic behaviours.

no, but seriously. we all know that getting married at a very young age was very common among nobility, right? that was the reason why cale/kim rok soo thought that your and the original cale henituse's relationship was not that good.

first of all, in the birth of the hero, you were described as the pitiful wife of the trash. the pitiful wife who was forced to clean up the mess that her husband made. and many citizens of roan kingdom pitied you because of that. ahh, what a pitiful being you are. they are sure that if you weren't married to the trash cale, you will live a good life.

that's also the reason why cale didn't bother to include you in his plan. he's sure that you will avoid him since you know, you were forced to marry him. and besides, you are free to do whatever you want since the count, his father, favours you.

but, of course, just like usual. things didn't go the way he wanted. since he didn't expect that your and the original cale henituse's relationship was good.

how did he say so? well, it was because of the countless portraits of you and the original cale henituse that he saw in his room. both of you were smiling brightly as if the two of you didn't care about the world. not good my ass, based on the portraits that he saw in his room. the two of you look very in love with each other.

and for some reason, after seeing those portraits. cale felt something foreign inside him. anger? no, annoyance? no, rage? no, jealousy? absolutely not. then what is it? what is this feeling that makes him want to burn those portraits and make sure that he won't be able to see them again? what is this feeling that makes him want to get rid of the memories that you had with the original cale henituse? cale might be considered smart but he's unfamiliar with these types of feelings.

but inside cale, he already knows what is that feeling. but he chose to ignore those feelings. he chose to deny the fact that he fell in love with you. because he knew that once he accepted that (according to him) useless feelings of his. he will become more selfish and greedy. he will start to want you for himself. and he knows that he couldn't do that since he isn't the real cale henituse.

and even this guy was always busy. he always makes sure to make time for you. like going to restaurants, boutiques, festivals, or any places that you wanted to go. he's contented as long as he was able to see your smile.

you see, cale doesn't care if people talk shit about him. he doesn't care about what people think about him. he is a trash after all. but are you wondering what will happen when those people/nobles who oppose cale started targeting you? hmm, well, they should ready themselves. you see, cale is a calm person but he had the power to destroy an island. so disposing of those people/nobles talking shit about you was a piece of cake for him.

fast forward to that time when cale henituse met the original, no, kim rok soo. this guy didn't even hesitate on asking what happened to you on the birth of the hero. are you curious about kim rok soo's answer? of course, you died along with the other members of the henituse family when the paerun kingdom invaded the henituse territory.

and seeing how cale's face darkened after hearing what he said. kim rok soo realized something. it looks like you also managed to make cale fall in love with you. haah, seeing how much cale cares for you made kim rok soo relieved. it looks like he will be able to leave you in cale.

What would happen if Angel were to marry Ren/[REDACTED], but through being married Angel were to become incredibly abusive, and kinda following into the foot steps of Ren/[REDACTED] father, and treating him like Ichiko, including their kids? Would he put up with it still being incredibly patient an try to seek help, or maybe just try to reset the whole story/game back to day 1, and try different personas to try not to frick up Angel?? While he is extremely patient when it comes to you, Ren also wants your unconditional love and attention just as much. Even if it means going through the same harrowing abuse he endured as a child, they'd willing do it all again if it meant only having you all to himself. He wants your undivided attention, he wants you to be just as obsessed and in love as he is, and he wants you to only interact with him (as opposed to Leon, Violet, Moth, etc.).

But in saying that; Ren would also know firsthand what it's like to have a parent neglect and mistreat you — so if he saw the exact same thing happening with his own children, then he'd honestly just find a way to let them escape without you knowing (because obviously if you were anything like his father, you wouldn't care about the whereabouts of your children). Ren might go to his best friend River for help, relocate your kids to another safe place (since he can literally buy another house if necessary), or ultimately try and dissuade from being such a monster to your children. Ren isn't like his mother Ichika; he won't sit by and ignore his own children out of fear — because he doesn't fear you in the first place.

But Ren does put you before everyone else — even himself. Which is why he's willing to re-experience all the traumatic abuse you give him.

Ultimately though, I don't condone that kind of abusive behaviour or actions — so if anyone is considering making their Angel anything like Taylor (or Ichika to some degree), please do not interact with me or this blog >_<

and it was you! just like minhwan, you're a student at yusong high. you're in the same class as jiwoon and heewon. but you're not close with them since you are more focused on finding money to pay your little sister's hospital bill.

and the first time minhwan saw you fighting some thugs. he was mesmerized. and the more he watches you, the more interesting you became.
