Happy Almost 2019 friends!!! Not Makeup related but wanted to share. So this is super tough to share. I don’t have very many before pics for reasons. Part of me fears THAT judgment. I DID feel embarrassed. This was the reason I was pretty inactive these last years. I was and I guess still can be pretty vain. Never wanted anyone to see “what happened to Eva?” I won’t bore you with my story. But I know it’s similar to other women out there. But the part that matters, is that I am so damn proud of what I was able to accomplish. I did it for me, myself and I. And If I can inspire just one person, I’d be incredibly stoked! I lost 60lbs in 3ish months And the rest over the course of 2018 for a total of 80lbs. I started my journey late 2017. 2018 was all about self care. And detoxing not only my body but my life. 2018 was incredible year But I look forward to 2019 and kicking some major butt!! If you are setting weight loss goals in the next few days, here what I suggest doing. ❤️Start with a small goal, short term vs. long term ❤️Write down your goals⁣ ❤️Think about your goals and speak them in to existence. ⁣ ❤️ Tell someone. The more people you tell your goals to, the better. I’m always here to talk. ❤️Journal and keep track of progress if possible ❤️And of course, never stop trying. You’ll have bad days, but never let that be the end of your journey ———————————- What I did in the beginning 1. Keto with Intermittent fasting 2. Carb Cycling 3. Have Realistic Expectations Setting unattainable goals can lead to feelings of frustration and cause you to give up. On the contrary, setting and accomplishing achievable goals leads to feelings of accomplishment. Also, you are more likely to maintain your weight loss long-term with realistic goals. 3. Pick a Plan That Fits Your Lifestyle Find a weight loss plan that you can stick to, and avoid plans that would be nearly impossible to follow in the long term. Reducing your calorie intake is a good method to lose weight. Therefore, strict diets that completely eliminate with an “all or nothing” mindset are less likely to lose weight.
