★;ANSWER: Of course! I'm doing well, Thank you for asking. I apologise if this is not to your liking.
★;CATEGORY: Angst.
★;PAIRING: Tom Riddle x Gn!Hufflepuff!Reader
★;SUMMARY: in which.. he repents his actions.
★;PS: This fic contains severe mentions of toxicity and a slight implication of death and violence. If anything of the sort makes you disheartened, then i would suggest you not to read this. As I mentioned, I have been quite stressed due to my examinations and Henceforth the quality of this fic may be a bit lower than expected. I attempt my very best to improve my writing. Once again, English is NOT my first language and hence, feel free to correct any grammatical incorrections. Writing non-yandere fics is quite strange for me and i apologise if I have accidentally made him into a yandere. I'm aware you mentioned a Fem!Reader, however I'll be doing a Gn!reader as to be more inclusive!Of course I had to use 'perhaps', 'henceforth' and 'quite'. And of course, i had to make Abraxas Malfoy an utter jerk.as it's a headcanon of mine that the Malfoys are all jerks.

Perhaps they presume us not to cling to others—to adhere to the cinders of a strained candle, of a relationship that ceased to live. To cater to it's ghost, it's bones. With one ray of aspiration, that the other would return. Yet you did. You had ever since that day. That evocative day in the Great Hall. That day when you ventured to befriend Riddle. That day when you shelved your sorrow as if it was a gruelling test you so utterly detested. And perhaps, you always would do so. Whether it was inadequate or purposeful, you paid heed to him. For six years, you had done so now. Yet none of your amiability ushered reciprocation from him. None. You'd praise his talents. You'd jest with him. You'd attempt to find solace in his ignorance. Of course, that was, not possible. You were human after all. Perhaps, it was due to you being a Hufflepuff? Perhaps it was as he did not how to convey his feelings? Perhaps, you utterly and desperately desired to invent an excuse for his behaviour.
And Henceforth, one abominable day, when your potion transformed indictable, far off the path of the accurate instructions—You tilted your gaze downwards. The mortification was quite too much for you. The air smeared you, resulting in quivering. A mere reach for your quill felt like a distinguished task. To mix lumber to the fire, An awful act happened. Which, of course, had to include him. Prying your ears, you examined. To distinguish the start, Riddle was frowning at the sight of your dismay(perhaps, not your dismay..).. If you had, perhaps, attempted to tell anyone that, they'd blaze into laughter. Of course, he did not look any less appealing, even whilst frowning. (If you knew the correct reasoning, that is)
However, of course, somebody had to destroy such a thing and that git was indeed Abraxas Malfoy. Perhaps, he ought to diminish the tension. And Henceforth Malfoy cast a repulsed look...at you..perhaps? "[Last Name] is a scatterbrain." He spoke to Riddle. "I think you're acquainted with them, My lord?" Imbecile you concluded to yourself, scowling. Yet the act that cast the most anticipation was Riddle's response. Your heart blazed. Sweat grazed your cheeks. Would, he, perhaps, come to your defence? It was juvenile,a foolish reassurance, the concluding luminosity of your life. Perhaps he cared. The mere wonder of it made you smile. (albeit somewhat slight)
If Tom concealed his feelings, then, perhaps he was quite proficient at it because his thoughts were utterly and completely inscrutable. Your frame began quivering. You steadied your gaze and examined him, with a surge of internal reassurance. "If that is,perhaps, what you believe to be true, then I must say, I do not care for [Last Name] and nor do i have no intention of paying heed to them." He stated firmly, causing Malfoy to flinch. "They are merely a classmate and a stranger to me."
Engulfed. That was the stature of your luminosity. Engulfed by him and the vicious wave that was sorrow(certainly a wave you'd never get over of). Tears plunged your cheeks before you could make of it and your lips closed on eachother. Restraining your palm against your mouth, you quivered. No, this had to have been another formidable nightmare of yours—it had to have been. He could not have been so...cruel. He had to have considered you as an acquaintance, at the very least . You loved him. You indeed did. With all your heart. Ever since the day you first gazed upon him. And yet, this was the conclusion, the answer to your persistent affection? You had splurged years in the aspiration that he'd...care. You were, sincerely and utterly pitiable. Life was an anguished tale. And, of course, you were the one having to suffer it.
And henceforth, this very abominable day, you quit your attempts to gain heed and he began his.
[★]
Perhaps nobody at Hogwarts with an orderly mind would have ever believed that Tom Riddle yearned after a mere Hufflepuff . Neither would the Hufflepuff in interrogation. Of course, he displayed no clues of mourning. On the budding days, he discovered no need for your juvenile affection. It was otherworldly to even wonder that he would require you. You brought no assistance to him and he regarded you as a 'mere nuisance.' Yet as herbage mutated copper—honed and gnawing, plunging onto the vicious month of October, The Hogwarts castle glinted with eerie ginger and blazing green, the act of ignorance from you towards him became...perplexing.. to say the very least.
It felt vacant. He felt vacant. As much as Riddle cherished his pride, He was almost wounded by your actions.You no longer bothered to praise him tenderly or adhere onto him. You no longer attempted to even gaze at him. However, as he had reassured himself quite alot of times, he had no requirement for you. And so henceforth, he persisted with life, excelling and being applauded like every other common day. Yet, you cannot merely plunge sorrow by detaining it. And perhaps, it shall make the matters worse when it rises, sizzling up to the surface to swamp you.
That sorrow certainly rose early.
And assisted with a broth of envy and guilt.(though, of course, he would never admit so) You had, at last—created proper friendships with amiable people, unlike, a very certain somebody whom you, precisely, despised now. To examine you speak to others, to see you content;considerate, sympathetic (Not with him, of course) slashed him with envy so utterly disdainful. In an instant's heed, He began to covet you, to crave you. He ought to have your affection once again. To possess your sweet, agreeable praise again. To have you clutch onto him. To fluster you, and—And perhaps, even kill to do so. Of course, the victims' identities were quite evident. Perhaps, it was merely amusement he required from you. Or perhaps, he may have, though quite unlikely, fallen in love.
And so henceforth, one agreeable day, when you had attempted to plod to the Black Lake—only to be approached by him. You felt satisfaction and hatred as you utterly refused to gaze at him.Your reasoning,being,the way he gazed upon you. You felt a rooting inclination to speak, yet, of course, you did not, allowing him to begin this clutter of a 'conversation'. (you could swear to Merlin that you had examined sorrow in his eyes!). The silence stirred distant. He spoke. "Greetings, [Name]." It felt as though you had, perhaps, heard the most astonishing wonder in the world. "I aspire that you are doing well?" You scowled at such a cloyed question. "I suppose i should get to the point, shouldn't it? Indeed, I would like to apologize for my behaviour. As you are aware Malfoy is—"
"An imbecile, yes." You responded curtly, frowning at the mere sight of him. He was,perhaps, too bewitching for you to be furious at. "Quit the Formalities, Riddle..."
"Is that so?" He questioned, inching quite near, smiling viciously. "In mere words, i would be honoured to rekindle our.. friendship." His smile diminished and his handsome face reeked of vulnerability. It was equivalent to viewing lime skies. Your heart ached to embrace him, to weep onto his chest, to allow him to comfort you—Yet, you could not fulfill it. You had dignity. And yet, you had love. Towards him. And perhaps, you always would. Tears boiled once more, and you gazed at him. He embraced you, and you had what you had so potently ached for. His hands cupped your cheeks as he smiled at you and you returned the act, though in tears. Joyful tears. Perhaps, he even shed a tear himself. (though unlikely). He pressed his lips onto yours and so did you. Profoundly. "Repentance, perhaps, inched us nearer, didn't it, love?"

Blinding Ire | Mattheo Riddle
Summary: Mattheo couldn’t bring himself to admit his feelings for the Hufflepuff girl, but as Goyle puts his hands on her, his anger got the best of him.
Pairing: Mattheo Riddle x Hufflepuff! Reader
Warnings: Harrasement, mentions of physical assault
A/N: Couldn’t Shake the thought off of my head so here it is
Tumblr media
As an Scamander and coming from a long line of outstanding wizards you truly wore your family’s name with pride. You had half of Hogwarts crushing and drooling to your feet, you were breath taking gorgeous, smart and everyone just wanted to be around you.
Mattheo Riddle was no other than a polar opposite, smug, cold in his demeanor, borderline arrogant and self-centered but he would be lying if he said you did not catch his eye.
But he did not allow himself to pursue you actively, he couldn’t explain it, but when it came to you his confidence flew out the fucking astronomy tower. He could barely put together a whole sentence.
To your understanding, Mattheo was just reserved, so his sharpness when talking didn’t cut through you.
Something nobody seemed to know was that Goyle had been stalking you for months now, at first you thought it was a simple crush but it started escalating as he began following you around the corridors, sneaking into your dorm when you were in class and stealing your personal belongings.
Honestly, it started being unsettling how unsafe you felt, but you didn’t have the courage to speak up. Goyle could just throw money onto the whole situation and make it go away and in the end, you would be the one to blame.
Perhaps you should have spoken up, but you thought it was better to not make a fuss, involve the families and make a scandal that would follow your moves like the ghosts at Hogwarts.
Right now, you were in Class for Care Of Magical Creatures and Goyle was slowly and carefully making his way to you, whilst you graciously scurried away, Mattheo noticed this, making his eyebrows raise and his eyes narrowed distrusting.
But just then Hagrid gave you the instructions to go seek for food for the Fire Crab, the group broke apart and you went your way,focusing solely on the assignment at hand, allowing yourself to enjoy nature until you began hearing footsteps behind you.
“Hello?” You called out but there were no answers other than the crackles of branches, leaves and the wind. “Anyone there?!”
Nothing.
You took a deep breath and walked a few steps before a hand covered your mouth, you screamed and squirmed away. Suddenly, you were spooned around to find Goyle looking at you with crazy eyes.
“G-Goyle?” You spoke trembling, he stepped closer to you and you flinched back
“Bloody hell you are never gonna love me, are ya?” His tone was dark and as he keep stepping closer until you decided to take a leap and started running away into the woods feeling your heart pounding.
But Goyle tackled you to the ground, pinning you down onto the soil as you tried to break free but it was useless, he was twice your size, holding you so roughly you were certain your wrists were near to crack in two.
“HELP! PLEASE HELP!” You screamed at the top of your lungs as the tears started rolling down your face.
“SHUT IT!” He screamed in your face half-panicking and just as he raised his hand, ready to slap you across the face, his hand caught mid-air.
In the blink of an eye Goyle was off you and as you were now free from danger, you noticed the image of none other than Mattheo Riddle punching Goyle straight in his face, making blood pour out of his nose.
Although , Goyle could land a few punches that would too, cause harm, Mattheo was a raging bull, there was no way of stopping his ire.
You sat there completely out of it, as you watch the scene unfold, but you wanted to do something, anything to stop Mattheo from getting more hurt or in trouble for defending you, but your body was utterly unresponsive to your heart desires.
The commotion was so big the whole class catch up to the woods, you saw how Theodore, Draco and Lorenzo force him up. Yet, he was fighting them off trying to finish what he started.
“IF YOU FUCKING LAY A FINGER ON HER EVER AGAIN I WILL AVADA KEDAVRA YOUR ASS!” He roared.
“OI! Let’s not get carried away, will ya?” Hagrid said rapidly, trying his best to get a hold of such disaster.
Then, at such words, a switch light up in Mattheo’s brain, he looked in your direction and you were still sat down, with your back resting against a tree and your eyes wondering into absolute nowhere.
The Riddle boy approached you calmly, even with his clothes stained with the blood of his numerous injuries, somehow he projected an oddly reassuring calmness as his eyes found yours.
“Y/N you-“ he started questioning you but was quickly caught off guard by you launching into his arms and holding onto him for dear life.
He was taken back for a moment before slowly embracing you as you clawed onto the fabric of his shirt
“Thank you, thank you, thank you…” you kept mumbling in his ear as you cried, and even though your hug was doing no good to his bruises and fresh wounds, he could not have given less of a flying fuck.
Because in that moment, his only purpose was to ensure you felt safe. So much so, that he refused to leave your side as you went to the hospital wing, you were just checked up and asked about what happened, while Mattheo acted as if you were the one injured, constantly asking if you were okay.
After you were let go off, you visited Mattheo’s bed, he was freshly patched up and his eyes lighted up at the sight of you, he had a charming smile plastered on his face that almost made you forget his cuts and dry blood.
“Hi” you greeted him softly.
“Hey” you played with your fingers nervously, as the heat creeped up your cheeks, not knowing what to say. Whilst Mattheo soaked in the sight of you completely mesmerized.
“Does it hurt?” You asked inspecting his face and he shook his head.
“I’ve gotten used to it. Don’t sweat it, sweet girl” he shrugged, you smiled softly and Mattheo realized he had called you sweet girl without thinking of it.
“As grateful as I am I would appreciate you, not disfiguring your face in my behalf, Mattheo” you joked making him laugh.
“Why’s that?” He asked curiously stepping closer to you.
“You might have a nice face to look at” you teased, nuzzling his cheek with your index finger softly, your touch was so gentle and mindful it was practically impossible to explain how he felt his skin burst into flames.
“Might? That hurt, Scamander”
“You’ll survive, Riddle”
You were both smiling and there was a moment of absolute silence before his eyes softened.
“You sure you’re alright? Say the word and he’s dead” he said with mischief but you knew he meant it and it was an odd feeling to know someone was willing to kill for you. Especially if that someone was Mattheo Riddle.
“What? Are you in love with me or something?” You joked nervously, he did not crack a smile, but you could see something clicked inside him as he looked at you dead in the eye.
“Yes” you were surprised as he answered you without hesitation and you just kissed him, finding words wouldn’t cut it, this boy was your biggest crush for years and he had just saved you from an ugly situation, kept you safe and confessed his feelings, you would be dammed if you let that go.

What do they think about marriage?
Pairings: slytherin guys x reader
A/N: I am having a severe case of marriage fever, if that even exists. Anyways, have this small HC drabble, tell me what you think.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Theodore:
Honestly I think he’d be against the idea for a pretty long time (seeing his mother as sort of ‘trapped’ before she died), he’d resent marriage through most of his early life.
But then he’d meet you, and you’d start going on 1, 2… 5 years together? And it would just start to feel so right, so he’d have to pop the question.
He’ll want nothing more than to reclaim this sacred bond as his with you by his side.
Mattheo:
Didn’t really care about marriage one way or another. I do think he’d be secretly very enamored with the idea of a more domestic life, though.
Once he finds the right person, something clicks and he knows he’ll want to spend the rest of his life with them.
Marriage is just one way to crown this desire, and if you want it, he’ll happily oblige.
Draco:
He was brought up with marriage in mind, and I don’t think that bothers him much; it’s just a stepping stone he has to take at some point, though he’s adamant about making his own independent choice when it comes to when, who and how.
His parents may or may not approve of you, he doesn’t care (though it’d be easier if they did), once he’s set on the idea of marrying you that is exactly what he’ll do.
(On another note, I also think he’d find himself enjoying organizing it lol)
Enzo:
Dreams of marriage. Secretly goes through revenue and dresses catalogs when he’s feeling particularly down or lonely.
I think he’d be one of the quickest to take the knee, and even quicker to realize you’re the one he had been waiting for.
Blaise:
Also someone whom I think really holds dear the idea of having such a companionship.
I always imagine him as a single child born to single children, so I think he’d have some kind of family heirloom given to him pretty early in, like his grandma’s ring.
Once you guys have been going out for a while I think he’d roll it around in his hand late at night, while he watches your sleeping form breathe peacefully.
Tom:
Does not want it.
In his plans there had never been any space for that kind of frivolous distraction, plus any title that is bestowed by someone other than him is pretty much meaningless.
(He’s so napoleon takes the crown coded)
Instead, he’d hold a “devotion ceremony”, where you make an unbreakable vow that seals you to him forever. Romantic isn’t he? You should be grateful.
LAST CHRISTMAS. tom riddle
( master list )
IN WHICH… Tom can’t fall in love, he shouldn’t be able to fall in love. So why does he love Y/N L/N with her yellow robes, doe eyes, and her obsession with snow so much that he’d kill anyone in his path to get to her?
Minor warnings : Not proof-read, kind of long, dark Tom Riddle, somewhat yandere
Tumblr media
“It may be hard to believe, but there was a time where Voldemort loved someone. He was young… barely eighteen. He loved her so much… that he would kill for her. So he did. He killed every boy interested in her and every girl who tormented her. And then he turned on her. Nobody knows what happened to sweet Y/N L/N. Maybe he killed her, maybe she got away… or maybe she stayed with him and let him taint her heart.
He was a boy who knew nothing of real love while she was a girl who wanted nothing but that.”
Tom couldn’t fall in love. He physically shouldn’t be able to fall in love. He wouldn’t let himself to fall in love. He would not allow himself that wretched moment of weakness his peers all seemed to suffer from.
Every day it was always, “Riddle, will you go out with me?” His answer was always no yet these lovesick girls never learned. They all flocked to him like annoying seagulls to a single, lonely chip.
“Excuse me,” A hand suddenly tapped Tom’s shoulder. He turned around, almost glowering at the girl in front of him. Before he could reject her, she spoke up. “You, uh, left this, Riddle.”
Of course, she knew his name but he didn’t know her’s.
She held out Tom’s precious diary and he was quick to snatch it out of her grip. He observed it, narrowing his eyes slightly before he subtly nodded. “Thank… you…” The words felt strange rolling off his tongue. He had never thanked anybody. He hesitated because he didn’t know her name.
“Y/N L/N.” She uttered, smiling.
“What?”
“My name is Y/N L/N. You seemed confused… so I thought you didn’t know me.”
Tom’s eyes flickered to the prefect badge pinned proudly to her robe. He arched an eyebrow. “You… you’re a prefect?” He questioned. He had never seen her at the meetings, which was strange because he noticed everyone.
“Yeah. Head girl.” Y/N beamed again, hardly offended by the fact that Tom didn’t know her despite them being counterparts.
Tom found it strange how he didn’t know her. He was supposed to considering she was the head girl. Tom observed her, staring at Y/N’s Hufflepuff uniform and the yellow ribbons intertwined with her braided hair.
“Right.” Tom muttered, clearing his throat.
“It was a pleasure talking to you, Riddle. I’ll see you around.” Y/N was the first to walk away. Tom wasn’t used to that because normally, he did that. He stared at Y/N’s back, eyebrows furrowed slightly.
Everybody was frightened by Tom’s cold demeanour, but not Y/N. She had approached him so casually without a second thought.
Tom shook his head, sighing under his breath. “Hufflepuffs.”
The next time Tom stumbled upon Y/N was when she had been cornered by three Slytherin girls. He recognized the ringleader as the girl he had rejected last week.
“Stay away from Tom.” The silver-haired girl grumbled, invading Y/N’s personal space. Y/N didn’t seem at all phased. She just smiled as she stared into the girl’s bright blue eyes.
“I’m sorry, who are you?” Y/N questioned, innocently tilting her head to the side.
“Just stay away from Tom, got it?” The Slytherin girl repeated, her glare hardening.
Tom cleared his throat from behind the trio, making his presence known. “Is there a problem here?” He asked, arching an eyebrow.
The trio of Slytherin girls instantly recognized his voice. “Riddle!” The ringleader exclaimed, jumping. She nervously smiled. “We were just helping L/N here. She needed help with… uh…” She trailed off, her eyes wildly darting around.
“Her makeup!” One of her friends piped up, “She likes a boy and wanted our help!”
The third girl quickly nodded and grabbed Y/N by the shoulders, pushing her forward. “Isn’t she pretty? Imagine how pretty she would be with makeup!”
Tom’s stare hardened. He glanced down at Y/N, his lips pressed into a thin line. “She’s pretty enough as is.” He spoke, reaching out to grasp a strand of Y/N’s hair. “Well, I’ll be needing her. Prefect business, you understand?” Tom ripped Y/N from the girl’s grasp and led her down the long, winding hallway.
“Do you always have to deal with those pests?” Tom questioned, looking at Y/N once more.
“They aren’t that bad. They were worse in first year.” She smiled but that didn’t comfort Tom.
“You shouldn’t let them push you around. I’ll talk to them and make sure they never bother you again.” Tom furrowed his eyebrows.
“Oh, you don’t have to do that.” Y/N uttered, but Tom didn’t hear her. He was already walking off, his hands shoved deep into his pockets. Y/N frowned. “I hope he doesn’t kill them… he looks like the type.”
Y/N sighed, shaking her head. “No. He wouldn’t murder anybody. He’s the head boy.” She walked off in the opposite direction, quietly humming under her breath, unknown to the horrors Tom was committing with his damn pet snake.
Y/N strutted into the Great Hall, ready to eat dinner and gossip about useless things with her friends. But when she approached her companions, she was overwhelmed with their questions.
“Y/N, did you hear about the attacks?”
“I heard those three Slytherin bullies were targeted.”
“Well, they kind of deserved it. It’s not like they’re fully dead. They’re just stone.”
Y/N sat down, confused. “What happened?” And asked, tilting her head to the side.
Bella was the first to explain. “You know those three Slytherin girls who are always picking on you? They were all found turned to stone.” She looked around to make sure nobody was listening before she leaned forward and whispered, “The professors say it wasn’t a hex so they don’t really know what to do.”
“Oh… that’s…” Y/N couldn’t muster up any words. She glanced over at Tom, who was drinking out of his golden goblet. He locked eyes with her and his lips twisted into a cruel smirk.
“Did they find the perpetrator?” Y/N questioned, looking at Bella.
“No. I heard a few students talking about some sort of chamber but I wasn’t close enough to hear anything else.”
For the rest of dinner, Y/N was distracted by the way Tom kept glancing over at her. She felt a sick feeling in her stomach and she tried to convince herself that Tom played no part in this whole mess.
“I think I’m going to go to bed early.” Y/N stiffly smiled as she drank the last of her water from her cup.
Y/N quickly stood up, speed-walking out of hall. She heard someone following her and she spun around, hoping it wasn’t Tom. Luckily, it wasn’t.
It was a Gryffindor boy with messy black hair and stunning blue eyes. He grinned at her. “Y/N L/N, right?”
She slowly nodded.
“Listen, I’ve been interested in you for a while and I don’t want you to feel inclined to accepting my offer, but I would love if you would come to Hogsmeade with me.”
Y/N awkwardly smiled. “Ah, sorry, I’m a little busy. Maybe next time?” She suggested, trying to brush past the boy. But he grasped her wrist
“Are you sure?” He asked.
You heard her the first time. She’s busy.” Tom had walked to stand behind the boy, towering over him with a mean glare.
“Right.” The Gryffindor thickly swallowed, “I’ll be on my way, then.” He scurried off, almost tripping over his robes.
“You didn’t have to scare him off.” Y/N murmured as she spared Tom a look before resuming her walk to the Hufflepuff common room. Tom followed after her, which unsettled Y/N.
She should have been placed in Gryffindor with how brave she was to eventually confront Tom. “What did you do with those Slytherin girls?” She softly inquired.
She heard Tom chuckle. “I didn’t do anything. Trust me.”
“It’s a bit hard to trust you when you smirked at me like that.” Y/N furrowed her eyebrows.
“I never touched those girls. I merely gave them a warning before leaving them. And next thing I know, they were turned to stone. Some Ravenclaw first year found them.”
Y/N stared into Tom’s eyes, looking for any indication that he was lying. It was a bit hard to read him considering he barely had any emotions. But there was a gleam in his usually blank eyes.
“Okay.” She whispered, despite not fully believing him.
Tom had ended up walking Y/N to her common room and she politely nodded. “Good night, Riddle.”
“Call me Tom. Good night, Y/N.”
Rowan, the poor Gryffindor boy who had asked Y/N out, was the next target. Though, he wasn’t found turned to stone. His body was entirely mutilated and Y/N took pity on the third year girl who had discovered his body in the bathroom.
Y/N sat with Bella, pushing her food around on her silver plate. On instinct, she glanced at Tom. He had that same infuriating smirk and this time, he slightly raised his goblet. His actions made his friends laugh.
“I’m leaving for class early. See you at lunch, Bella.”
Her friend hummed, too busy staring at a boy from across the room to notice Y/N’s uneasiness.
Y/N stiffened as she saw Tom stand up out of the corner of her eye. She tried to speed walk away but he easily caught up to her.
“What did you do do him?” She asked, referring to Rowan. He had no enemies and Tom was the only person Y/N could think of. After all, the head boy hadn’t seemed too pleased to see Y/N talking with Rowan.
“Accusing me again? There’s an actual murderer on the loose and instead, you’re pointing fingers at me?” Tom let out a small scoff while Y/N silently stared up at him. “I’m head boy. Do you really think I would decapitate a body?”
“Nobody said anything about the body being decapitated.”
“I saw it. As head boy, I was at the scene.”
Y/N narrowed her eyes while Tom mentally cursed at his mistake. Hufflepuffs were usually easy to gaslight, but not Y/N. And that annoyed Tom.
“They’re still observing the body but I wouldn’t be walking alone if I were you. This attacker seems to be targeting people who are,” Tom took a step closer to Y/N, “All alone.”
Tom cunningly grinned as he shrugged. “Enjoy your walk, Y/N.”
Y/N didn’t want to take any chances with Tom since he was her prime suspect. But if he was the murderer, why wasn’t she his next victim? She was alone and the castle was deserted. Now would be the perfect time.
Tom chuckled as the cogs in Y/N’s head started moving. He was going to strut away from the Hufflepuff but Y/N was quick to grab his sleeve.
“Walk me to class.” She demanded. For the first time in a long time, Tom felt his cheeks heat up. And strange enough, he felt a jolt of lightning pass through his body when Y/N’s grasped him.
He concealed those odd emotions. “With pleasure.”
Potions was their first class. Usually, Gryffindors and Slytherins were put together but this year the school decided to mix it up. Classes were now decided on a student’s academic record. And lucky for Tom, all of his courses were with Y/N. Never had he been so glad that one of his peers had almost beaten him for the spot of top student.
Y/N tried to sit away from Tom but he dragged her to a table near his friends. She nervously sat down, tapping her foot against the floor.
She could feel someone burning holes into her back with their glare and Y/N looked over her shoulder, locking eyes with a Ravenclaw girl. She sneered at Y/N.
The H/C-haired teenager slowly turned her head to look at her textbook, but her peace was short lived when a cauldron came crashing down on her head.
It hit her with such force that her head jolted forward and slammed against the wooden table. A sickening crack was heard and the class went silent.
Tom and his friends were the first to react. Avery lifted Y/N and helped her sit up. Her nose was heavily bleeding and the crimson liquid dribbled down her chin, staining the pages of her new and crisp book.
Malfoy held his hands underneath her chin to catch most of the blood while Avery dapped at Y/N’s nose with the sleeve of his robe.
Rosier grabbed the cauldron, slamming it back down in front of the Ravenclaw. At that very moment, Professor Slughorn entered.
He observed the bizarre scene, effortlessly piecing everything together. “Tom, my boy, please escort Miss L/N to the hospital wing. You may bring Mr Avery and Mr Malfoy with you. Rosier, Mulciber, Nott, Lestrange, I want a full explanation of what happened.” Slughorn turned to the Ravenclaw, “Miss Li, I will also require your explanation.”
Hyehi Li, the girl who had thrown the cauldron at Y/N’s head, was gone. She was found by the Ravenclaw Quidditch up on the roof, impaled onto a sharp spear. The students of Hogwarts were growing restless. Parents wanted to collect their kids but the murderer could be anybody, staff or student. Therefore, it was imperative that the professors worked fast to track the attacker down.
Y/N sat in her dorm, thinking to herself. All of the people attacked were connected to her. The three Slytherin girls had bullied her, Rowan had somewhat flirted with her, and Hyehi had injured Y/N. And Tom was there to witness all three incidents.
There wasn’t anybody else who could be doing these things. Y/N was also aware of Tom’s fascination with the dark arts.
It was Christmas Eve and since the school couldn’t technically hold the students in the castle over the holiday, they had no choice but to let them go.
Y/N’s parents were on a trip right now, so she had to stay behind. Not many students wanted to stay at Hogwarts, but Y/N knew Tom and his posse would be roaming the halls.
She was nervous to walk out of the common room, but she was hungry, even at this time when it was close to midnight, and the kitchen was so close.
“L/N!” A voice Y/N didn’t recognize suddenly called out. She turned around, watching a Slytherin boy jog towards her. She recognized him as a year below her.
“Ah… you shouldn’t be talking to me, it’s not safe.” Y/N had come to the conclusion that any boy or girl who teased or flirted with her was in serious trouble if Tom ever found in.
“Why? I just wanted to say happy Christmas Eve. And thanks for helping me with my homework this year. I don’t know what I would’ve done without you.”
Y/N stiffly smiled and nodded her head. “You’re welcome. Good bye.” Y/N wanted to leave but the boy blocked her path.
“Do you have anybody to celebrate Christmas with? You’re always welcome in the Slytherin common room. Riddle seems to have taken a liking to you.”
Speak of the devil, Y/N could hear Avery’s loud laughs from just around the corner. And where Avery was, Tom and his friends were sure to follow.
Y/N’s eyes slightly widened. “Please leave me alone… for your sake.” She whispered, trying to brush past him. But the boy didn’t seem to sense the urgency in Y/N’s voice as he grabbed her shoulder just as Tom came into sight.
A feeling of dread overcame Y/N as Tom approached the pair. “Onyx.” He greeted the boy by the last name. “What business do you have with Y/N?”
Onyx, as oblivious as ever, smiled. “I was just thanking her for helping me. And I was going to invite her to spend Christmas in the Slytherin chamber.”
Tom narrowed his eyes as he slowly nodded. “… I see. We’ll have to finish decorating the tree then. Come on.” Tom guided Onyx with a firm hand on his back. Y/N’s breath trembled and finally having had enough of being connected to all the murders, she silently followed Tom and his friends and Onyx.
There was a loud bang and as Y/N peeked around the corner, she almost gasped. Avery, the supposed sweet boy who had helped her with her bloody nose, had just knocked Onyx out cold.
“Let’s get this over with quickly. I have some matters to attend to.” Tom pulled out his wand, pointing the tip at Onyx. “Avada Kedavra.” There was a blinding flash of green light and then all was still.
Y/N stumbled back. She quickly sprinted off, making sure to be quiet and not leave anything behind. She burst into the Hufflepuff common room and began to wildly knock on every door.
“Why is no one here?!” She exclaimed, pounding her fist against the wall. “The headmaster and Slughorn are gone too! And Dumbledore- Wait, I can tell Dumbledore!”
She rushed to the exit but crashed into a tall figure. She fell back, hitting her head.
“You didn’t think you would actually get away, did you?” It was just Tom this time. His friends were nowhere to be seen.
Y/N scrambled back but Tom easily outstretched a hand, grabbing her collar and pulling her up. “I got you a gift.” He said, handing Y/N a narrowly wrapped present as soon as the clock struck midnight.
“If it’s part of a body, I don’t want it.”
Tom merely smiled. “Open it and find out.”
Y/N opened the lid a tiny bit, jumping when she saw a pure white snake inside. It hissed and bared it’s sharp fangs at her.
“Sweet dreams, amour.” Tom uttered, stepping forward and knocking the present out of Y/N’s grasp. The box fell and the snake swiftly slithered over to Y/N’s ankle. “I love you.”
He harshly pressed his lips to Y/N’s just as the snake opened its mouth and sank its fangs into her flesh.
“Is this really the best way to do it?” Avery questioned as him and Lestrange pulled a wooden plank from their dorm floor. “We could just hide her dead body in a closet. Though, eventually, her corpse is going to rot and stink.”
Tom, from his position on his bed, tilted his head to the side. “Who said anything about her being dead?”
Nott arched an eyebrow and laughed. “She’s not actually alive, is she? Because stuffing her in there would be cruel.”
“Since when did you care about being cruel?” Tom retorted, “To be honest, I’m not actually sure whether she’s dead or not. I checked her pulse and there was none but her heart is still beating. It’s… strange. And fascinating.”
Tom’s lips curled into a smirk.
Y/N was shoved beneath the floor boards right next to Tom’s bed. He lay down, closing his eyes and listening to the dull thumping beat of Y/N’s heart.
All that happened last year. Y/N’s body was never found and Hogwarts lost a bright student. Tom’s friends could never hear Y/N’s heartbeat but Tom could.
He heard it at night when he was cramming in some late night study.
He heard it when he was kissing another girl in his bed and it reminded him of who his heart belonged to.
He heard it as he descended into a dark madness that not even Dumbledore could stop.
And he heard it as he yelled the very same spell he had yelled at Onyx on that fateful night at Harry Potter. Up in the castle, Y/N’s body still lay shoved deep under.
As Tom Riddle, now known as Voldemort, faded into nothing, he could hear Y/N’s heartbeat get louder and louder and he was reminded of what he had done to the sweet Hufflepuff.
That was her last Christmas and she had spent it under the floor, dead but not fully, never to be found or seen or heard from again.
“Last Christmas, I gave you my heart… but the very next day you stuffed it underneath the floorboards with the rest of my corpse until the sound of my heartbeat intensified your descent into madness.”
PAIRING: Blaise Zabini x Hufflepuff Reader
SUMMARY: Your boyfriend whisks you away from the enchanting Yule Ball, blindfolding your eyes in mystery, alluding to a secret spot. Though he suggests it's merely to show you something, what unfolds is a testament to his deep appreciation for your love of nature and a showcase of his genuine gentlemanly demeanour.
WORD COUNT: 1.7k
Tags: A NAUSEATING AMOUNT OF FLUFF. Just a super sweet cheesy adorable Blaise, one hell of a gentleman. literally the standard for all men.
Tumblr media
"Blaise, please, slow your pace!" Your voice echoed with breathless laughter, a symphony of delight dancing on the air as your high heels clicked in rhythmic cadence on the ancient stone pathway. “I’m going to trip!”
Your boyfriend’s hand, large and enveloping, held yours in a secure embrace--firm yet gentle, a testament to the familiar comfort that always accompanied his touch. He led you farther away from the fading melodies transpiring within the Yule Ball, his playful request evident in his yellow silk tie securely wrapped around your eyes, a soft blindfold shielding your view.
"Relax, puffle, just a little further," he retorted, the gleam of a mischievous smirk practically audible in his voice. "I've got you, baby."
His grip on your hand tightened, and you battled the urge to wrench it away entirely, resentment bubbling at the sound of the detested nickname he insisted on using. As a proud member of Hufflepuff, his relentless teasing and taunting, finding any excuse to emphasize your house affiliation, grated on your nerves.
"You might just provoke a hex if you don't ease up on that bloody nickname, Zabini," you huffed, a teasing grin dancing on your lips. "Come on, spill the secrets. Where are you dragging me? My poor feet are practically begging for a break."
In response to your words, Blaise came to an abrupt stop, a human blockade you collided with, knocking the wind out of your sails--quite literally. You were left momentarily breathless, contemplating the insanities of navigating blindfolded, following a bloody Slytherin boy into the middle of Merlin-knows-where.
Your hand instinctively shot up, ready to snatch the blindfold away out of pure irritation. However, Blaise, the ever-vigilant boyfriend, intercepted your rebellion with the swift precision of a Quidditch Seeker. His strong hands clasped around your wrist, halting your blindfold removal mission as if you were attempting an illicit spell in the Restricted Section. The dramatic pause hung in the air, and you couldn't help but chuckle at the unexpected turn of events, your irritation momentarily eclipsed by the absurdity of the situation.
"Patience is a virtue, my love. I thought you Hufflepuffs were well-versed in that," he teased, his hands leisurely descending down your arms until they settled on your hips. In your mind's eye, you could almost see the mischievous gleam in his eyes, his teeth nibbling on the plushness of his bottom lip. "Tired feet, you say? Allow me the honour of carrying you."
Before you could even voice a protest, before the chance to assure him it was entirely unnecessary, the man wasted no time. In a swift motion, he scooped you up into his chest, his arm hooking around your waist and the other securely beneath your knees, cradling you in a bridal-style embrace as he carried you effortlessly down the stone path.
A delighted squeal escaped you, your grip instinctively tightening around him, your face finding refuge in the comforting crook of his neck as the two of you swayed with each purposeful step.
“Gods, you’ve truly mastered the art of sweeping me off my feet, haven’t you?” You chuckled, a radiant smile illuminating your lips. As you nestled into his embrace, fingers delicately entwined around his neck, you couldn’t help but feel cherished in a way that transcended the ordinary. “In a world full of boys, you truly are a gentleman.”
Blaise’s deep chuckle resonated through his chest as he continued the gentle procession down the stone path. “Easy there, puffle--I’m just sparing you from potential blisters or a mutiny against my gentlemanly reputation later on.”
“You’re fortunate I’m at your whims, Zabini.” You grumbled with a playful pout, “cant you at least try to keep the puffle references to a minimum? My pride demands it.”
“Come on, love, it’s a cute nickname for a cute girl.” Blaise chuckled again, a soft and amused sound, “I fail to understand why you hate it so much.”
"Because you manage to make me feel like a small, delicate magical creature when you use it," you grinned, your voice a gentle murmur as you nuzzled against his neck, relishing the soft breeze that grazed your skin. "I suspect it's your sneaky way of acknowledging that, deep down, you know I could take you in a fight."
“Fair point, my enchanting little warrior.” He slowed his pace, the gentleness of his movements almost a silent apology. As he did, he planted a tender kiss on your forehead, a sweet punctuation to the familiar banter. “And for the record, I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
"Gods, I love you," you breathed, your fingers clutching his arms as he gently set you down, his firm hold ensuring you regained your balance gracefully. Now standing on the grass, you could practically sense the golden rays of the sun bathing your skin. "I hope you understand just how much."
“I do, babygirl--your smile says it all.” Blaise’s warm chuckle brushed against your ear as he moved behind you, his hands dancing with a gentle grace on your shoulders. “And I love you just as much. Now, are you ready?”
“As ready as I’ll ever be,” you replied, feeling the anticipation building. His fingers moved to undo the blindfold, and you couldn’t help but wonder what awaited. As soon as the world was visible again, your breath caught in your throat. “Oh my gosh-“
Blaise gently removed the tie, taking a small step back as he loosely wrapped it around his neck, a satisfied grin playing on his lips. He watched with amusement as your eyes widened, silently capturing the myriad of exasperated expressions that flickered across your face. The spectacle before you unfolded in all its glory--the setting skies painting a masterpiece mirrored by the black lake.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" Blaise murmured, his hands finding your arms, his tall frame looming protectively behind you.
As the ever-intuitive boyfriend, Blaise was keenly aware of your deep love for nature. From studying the magical lands' seasonal shifts to observing its diverse creatures, you devoted considerable time to these pursuits. Yet, he understood, perhaps better than anyone else, that beyond all else, your heart found its greatest joy in a captivating sunset.
“Blaise, it’s…”
It unfolded before you like an ethereal masterpiece, one that stole your breath with ease--the golden rays of the sun intermingling with the tangerine, coral, and fiery red hues of the sky, casting a warm glow over the landscape. The black lake, a mirror to the heavens, rippled gently, reflecting the celestial canvas above.
The distant mountains stood as silent sentinels, their silhouettes painted in shades of indigo against the canvas of the setting sun. Sporadic stars began to emerge, punctuating the sky with their twinkling brilliance, adding a celestial touch to the enchanting scene. It was a moment suspended in time, a breathtaking display of nature's artistry that left you in awe of the world's beauty.
You stood there, practically breathless, your gaze absorbing the mesmerizing spectacle unfolding before you. Words seemed inadequate, lost amidst the symphony of colours, the gentle ripples of the black lake, and the ethereal dance of your hair in the breeze. It was as if the beauty of the moment had stolen your voice, leaving you in a silent reverence for the sheer magnificence of the scene.
Blaise released a satisfied huff, his arms wrapping around your waist in a protective embrace. He pressed a tender kiss to your cheek, the warmth of his lips a sweet contrast to the cool breeze.
“I’ll never tire of seeing your reactions to moments like these,” he whispered, his voice a gentle melody in your ear. “Your wonder…the way you lose yourself…it’s like discovering magic all over again…”
You turned your head, trying desperately to catch his eyes as he loomed behind you, his arms still firmly wrapped around your waist, your hands entangled with his.
“I can’t believe you’d sacrifice the opportunity to show off your dance moves just to give me this magical view,” you teased, your eyes mirroring the love and gratitude you felt in the moment, a mischievous smile gracing your lips. “You must really love me.”
“My dance moves can bide their time. What I truly wanted was a moment alone with you, babygirl,” he purred, his warm breath grazing your skin as he pressed a soft kiss to your temple. “Watching you admire a sunset is a scene I’ll never tire of. My favourite view.”
As you looked up at him, a smile so wide it could reach your ears graced your face. Your entire being buzzed with a love that transcended words, and in that moment, you marveled at how fortunate you were to have a man like him--an absolute gentleman who cherished the simple, magical moments, and who never failed to make you feel like you were the only bloody girl in the world.
But, before you could even process a reply, the distant sounds of flapping wings caught your attention. Turning your head back to the approaching night, you witnessed the most beautiful and magical Hippogriffs gracefully soaring through the sky, their forms adorned by the hues of the sunset. Their feathers shimmered with a spectrum of colours, a mesmerizing display that left you utterly captivated all over again.
Each majestic creature moved with grace and power, their wings beating in harmony with the dance of the evening breeze. A sense of wonder washed over you, and you found yourself lost in the enchantment of these magical beings, grateful to witness such a breathtaking moment, and grateful to have such a wonderful boyfriend who knew how to make every damn day special.
“I love you, Blaise,” you murmured, the words a soft breath escaping your lips. Blinking, you tore yourself away from the captivating view, turning your head to find your boyfriend already gazing at you. His eyes, like deep pools, met yours with an intensity that mirrored the love in your heart. “Gods, I love you so fucking much.”
"Such a dirty mouth," he grinned, his dark eyes brimming with adoration as he peered down at you. "Careful now, you might cast a spell with those words."
“It can get dirtier, if you’d like,” you giggled, a playful sparkle in your eyes as you spun around within his grasp. Throwing your arms around his neck, you pulled his head down closer to yours. “Anything you want, it’s yours.”
As he pressed his lips against yours in a soft, tender kiss, he murmured; “I’ve already got everything I’ll ever need, babygirl.”
show me how | tom riddle
Tumblr media
pairing: tom riddle x reader
genre: fluff? angst? unrequited crushes but not really, love confessions, first kiss, complicated feelings???
wc: 1.2k
originally posted on AO3: 23/02/2023
You like Tom Riddle. Like like like. Like fancy him like. You knew that. And you think he knows it too.
It's not like you actively tried to hide it, if he knew about it then that's that. If he doesn't then that's another path that readily available for you to take.
"Hmm?" You hummed, Tom had called for your attention earlier but you weren't exactly focused on what he was saying. Your eyes met his, now wide and curious as to what he had to say. "What is it?"
"Are you okay?" He asks.
And the words sound so foreign coming from between his lips that you thought for a split second that you weren't speaking to Tom himself.
"Yeah," you murmur softly, nodding as he process the words in as a clear lie. If Tom had been a more expressive person, he'd be frowning, but he wasn't, so instead he settled on pursing his lips. "Don't worry about it."
Tumblr media
Tom was conceived under a love potion. He can't love. And one would think that that was enough of a reason to not have feelings for the guy but you were stupid enough to do it nonetheless.
"You're lying," he states, his brows furrowed the slightest bit. "Why are you lying?"
"It's nothi—" You stop, tearing your eyes away from his to stare down at your hands. And after a second, you huff, looking back at him once more. "—Do you think that you could grow to love someone?"
And that was when it clicked into place for Tom. You, the only person he was able to tolerate and or considers as his only friend, fancied him.
He thinks for a bit, mulling the idea over and over. Tom is used to the act by now, he would get confessed to then he would promptly turn it down because, quite frankly, he doesn't give a shit what others think of him.
But with you. He doesn't know what to do with you.
"I think you should get something to eat," he says instead, another action that was so foreign of him to do. "Come on."
Tom was never one to avoid confrontation in any shape or form and always made sure that the person who confessed to him knew their place. But you were his friend, and he doesn't know how to tell you where you were placed on the list of things that occupied his mind.
Tom stands up awkwardly by the library's table, a place you've been frequenting with him lately. And watched as you made no move in gathering your things.
"Have you ever loved anything?" You ask him quietly, grateful that you've found the table furthest from any possible commotion.
Tom says your name sternly. You knew he didn't like to talk about this topic, a wall having been put up and never once crossed during the years of friendship in which you've known him. "I think we should go."
"And I think you should tell me that you can't love me back," you counter. "Just so I could move on."
Tom stays silent, his head going dizzy at the look on your face, staring up at him from your seat with your pupil blown wide with admiration. You not only liked him. You loved him.
"I'm not going to care for you any less when you tell me no," you say to him. Tom reaches over and grabs at your things, packing it as he quietly listens to you. "You're still my friend."
Friends. His stomach drops at the words. He doesn't want to be your friend. He doesn't know what he wants, he just knows that he didn't want to be just that. But he will not give you false hope by lying to you. So he tells you, like you've asked of him: "I can't love you."
It takes you two beats before you smile at him, finally putting away your things, your own hand brushing against his cold ones as you stuffed your supplies into your bag. Tom considers for a second if he should hold it for you. You know, as an apologetic gift.
But he decides not to, and watches as the straps drapes over your shoulder, digging into your skin uncomfortably.
"You know," you start as you walked out the library besides him. "I don't think I've ever seen you smile."
Tom steps slows, matching with your own and with knitted brows he asks. "What do you mean?"
"I can't remember how you smile," you say with a small smile of your own. "Show me how, will you?"
Tom blinks. He thinks back to his life in the orphanage, to the basilisk under the chamber, Moaning Myrtle, the things he did to Hagrid, everything he has done so far that you've had zero clue of and feels to guilty too lift the corner of his lips up. He just can't do it.
"If you can't show me how you love, Tom," you say. "Then the least you could do was show me how you smile."
He doesn't say anything, just watching you as your eyes flickered between his lips and any of his other features. You were shorter than him, and he thinks he likes it this way.
He thinks of you, how you look at him, how you speak to him, how you've dreamt up visions of who he'd never be, and how he —for the first time ever in his life, feel the love you have for him. And how when he does smiles, a small sigh slips out of him.
You notice then the corner of his lips curving upwards, the small squint of his eyes, the scrunch on his high nose bridge, and the dip of dimples in his cheeks, poking through clearer than ever before. Your thoughts err away, and you let your heart fall in love with Tom again.
You smile back, reciprocating his and somehow his only grew. A blissful glint reaching his eyes, as he mirrored you. You tilt your head to the side, only realising now that you two came to halt, and signalled for him to follow after you. "Let's go."
You didn't get far, cold hand wrapping around your wrist and held you in place. You look back at him with a questioning look and you could see Tom contemplate with himself.
"I'm going to kiss you."
"What?"
Tom didn't repeat himself, his lips pressing onto yours with his free hand gently cupping your face, the coldness melting into the heat of your flushed cheeks. Cold. Cold. Cold. You kissed him back, letting yourself enjoy this moment while it lasted with an ache in your heart. Tom pulls away, hand still cupping your face as his thumb slides down to your chin and lifts it up so you would look at him.
"I want to learn to love you," he says slowly. "Please."
A smile etched its way onto your lips, and it doesn't go unnoticed by Tom since he has to physically restrain himself from kissing you again and again. Tom awaited for your words, and as he thinks that he'll finally get an answer to his semi-love confession.
You ask him instead, "why are your hands so cold?"
Only Her
Pairing: Tom Riddle x Reader
A/N: Hello! This is the first fic I'm posting so let me know if you like it! I had so much fun writing it and I always have ideas in my head for stories, so I thought it was time I finally posted one lol.
The autumn breeze was chilling to the bone once you had been exposed to it. No amount of thick sweaters, fluffy scarves, or wool gloves could keep the bite out once the cold really settled in. Tom blew a warm breath into his hands ( as warm as he could manage in the current weather) and cursed the skies. He would not be trekking through this treacherous weather if it weren’t for the bubbly girl skipping in front of him.
She had asked him to accompany her to Hogsmeade this weekend and no matter how hard he tried to find the cold, unappealing mask he had perfectly molded, he knew there was no way he could turn her down. She was his opposite in every aspect and as much as it didn’t make sense, it also did.
He tried to keep his usual schemes far away from her innocent ears, though she was not oblivious to his extracurricular activities. He supposed one of the things he enjoyed most is that she never judged him or tried to talk him out of his plans. She simply took him for what he was and loved every part of him.
“Oh Tom, look! The snowflakes are so pretty!” She beamed as she caught one in her hand, shoving it toward the grumpy boy following behind her. He merely grimaced and attempted to at least look half-interested. She continued admiring the puffs of feather-light ice, paying no attention to what was in front of her, trusting her boyfriend to watch out for her completely.
Tom sometimes wondered how different things would be had she not been assigned his partner in charms and been forced to attend several study sessions together. If she hadn’t insisted on working together as much as possible and making sure their assignments had no errors, would he be further along in his plans?
He had been delaying releasing the basilisk for months out of fear for her. Only her, no one else he cared enough about to even consider their well-being. His closest friends had taken his distraction as an excuse to delay plans and stop attending meetings altogether. He knew he needed to make a move soon, but he also knew he could postpone it a little longer.
“You ought to be careful, the bridge is frozen and you could easily slip.” Despite the lack of warmth in his tone, his message was well-intended and he knew she understood that. She simply giggled and held out her hand to him, allowing his large hands to encompass her small ones and keep her balanced.
Although he sometimes found it tedious to always make sure She was in safe hands, he also secretly adored it. Sometimes he got tired of the constant anger and despise in his head, the blood on his hands, the nagging feeling of never being enough, and simply let thoughts of her overwhelm him.
“Look, the Three Broomsticks has their lights on!” Tom reigned in the urge to tell her that they always had their lights on, instead letting her indulge in the simplistic fun. She tugged him along hastily through the crowded streets and burst through the old wooden doors. Tom snarled at those who dared looked their way and lead the girl in his arms to the farthest table in the back.
He was not embarrassed to be seen with her by any means. However, he absolutely despised the nasty looks she received for being with him. It wasn’t his own feelings he was concerned with; hers, on the other hand, were as delicate as a blooming flower. Tom sometimes wondered if it was the mean comments or the prospect of being humiliated that made the tears roll down her porcelain face.
“What would you two like to drink?” Tom eyed the man who had come to take their order. He was tall and lanky, probably a graduate from last year or the one before who couldn’t find anything better to do with his time than smoke and drink. She batted her eyelashes and ordered two butter beers, unaware of the blush now coating the snob's cheeks.
She never meant to flirt, she was just a charismatic being. Tom never reprimanded her for it and never pointed it out, not wanting her to lose the joyous nature about herself for the sake of others’ stupidity.
“So, heard anything good lately?” Tome whipped his head back to her and narrowed his eyes. She loved to gossip.
“I heard Walburga and Orion are engaged.” He had come to enjoy passing secrets with her. Only her.
“They are not!’ She gasped. Tom nodded his head and smirked. “Are they not cousins?”
“Well, yes, but the pureblood families tend to interbreed anyways. Their children will probably bear all sorts of problems.” She giggled and slapped a hand over her mouth, tho the tint to her cheeks never left.
He caught himself almost smiling but quickly scowled as the man set their drinks down in front of them. He gave her an extra long pause, telling her to call out if she needed anything, and slowly walked away from the table.
She took a long sip of her drink, sighing happily and looking at Tom expectantly. Truth be told, he hated the damn drink. But he indulged her in tasting it every time and then letting her have the rest. He always ended up dragging her back to the castle by the end of the day but he couldn’t deny her this simple pleasure.
He grasped the glass and took a slow sip, swishing the amber liquid around in his mouth before swallowing. Tom hated the grime that coated his teeth every time he drank something sugary and made a mental note to brush his teeth as soon as he returned to his dorm.
Once her drink was gone and Tom had taken three nanoscopic sips of his, she downed his as well. A glassy film covered her eyes and she began laughing uncontrollably, doubling over and clutching her stomach as the drink coursed through her.
A rough hand on his shoulder brought Tom out of his watchful stare. Abraxas Malfoy stood next to him, a sort of excitement in his eyes as he beheld the giggling girl in front of him. Tom shook his disgusting hand off his shoulder and raised his eyebrows at his right-hand man.
“Hello, you two! Well, don’t you look as lovely as ever!” She giggled again.
“Why thank you, Abraxas!”
“I was actually referring to our good friend Tommy here, but you look lovely as well.” A smirk adorned Abraxas face as she laughed even harder. If Abraxas had not been one of his most trusted followers then he would have obliviated him. He still might.
“He does look quite lovely.” Tom simply rolled his eyes and motioned for the blonde boy to tell him whatever it was he interrupted their night for.
“I just came to wish you both a good night and check-in.” The glint in his eyes told a different story and Tom almost pulled him into the alleyway to explain. But that would mean leaving her alone, and that was something he would never do.
“Thank you, Abraxas. Oh! Are you excited about the quidditch game tomorrow?” Although she came from the yellow house, she adorned a different color for every game. She just liked to witness the excitement of someone winning.
“I am, I hope you’ll be in green and black tomorrow?” He gave her a lazy grin as she nodded her head eagerly. She would not remember agreeing to that tomorrow and Abraxas would have quite the time teasing her when he sees her decked in blue instead.
“Darling, did you want to go to the bookstore before the end of the night?” The light was dimming outside, but the shops were far from closing. With darkness came cold though, and Tom would not have her out in weather worse than this.
“Oh, of course! I thought we could pick up a few to read before bed?” Abraxas snickered but quickly stopped once he saw the sharp look Tom diverted at him. Instead of answering, he simply shrugged his coat on and offered her a hand. He made sure her scarf was wrapped tight around her neck and her coat buttoned properly to seal in any remaining warmth.
He held her hand tightly and led her down the snowy street. The small bookstore came into view and he quickly pulled them in to fight off the cold, leading her down to the section she adored the most.
Tom watched as her fingers skimmed the old parchments as she lazily looked for a few to bring home. He felt bad the first few times they came because he couldn’t afford to buy her what she wanted, but she insisted she had enough money for the both of them. After many disagreements (they never argued because he couldn’t stand to make her upset), he finally accepted that she would buy them and he would read them to her.
“I want this one, please.” Tom grabbed the rather thin book off the shelf and held it out for her to tuck in her arms.
“Just one darling? We’ll go through that pretty quickly, maybe you should pick another one as well.” She hummed in agreement and pointed to three more books. He rolled his eyes humorously and pulled them from the shelf.
With the books in hand, she set them on the counter and bounced on her toes as the clerk rang them up. She handed them the payment and Tom took the wrapped parcels along with her hand and made for the door.
The walk back to the castle always felt longer, though he knew it wasn’t. Perhaps it was the impending time to sit by the fire with her curled into his side or the way her scent would wash over him and lull him to sleep. It could have been the sleep-filled nights he only seemed to find wrapped around her or the quiet the castle offered only at night.
“Tom?” He hummed and turned to her. She had a contemplative look on her face.
“Do you think you’ll ever get tired of me?” He stopped in his tracks, pulling her back when she attempted to carry on walking. His heart beat a thousand times faster than normal and if he thought about her words too long, he was sure it would beat out of his chest.
He carefully placed one hand under her chin, tilting those glassy eyes to look directly into his. His sharp features made him intimidating to most people, but she was never afraid of the death that could shine in his eyes.
“Why are you asking me that darling? Has someone said something?” Merlin forbid someone else had made her think this way. They would be dead within the hour.
She shook her head quickly, long strands of hair falling in her eyes. She pushed them back with one hand and huffed, looking at the ground while she played with his fingers.
“No, I was just thinking. I know I’m very different from you and your friends, and sometimes I just wonder…well…if I’m too different.”
Tom would do anything to wipe the sorrow from her voice. He forced himself to take steadying breaths. The wrapped books thumped against the snow-packed ground as he freed both of his hands to grasp either side of her face.
“Darling, I will not get tired of you. I enjoy the differences between us. I know I am not capable of the extent of feelings you have for me, but one day I hope to learn to feel those things.” He placed one of her hands against his beating heart, letting her feel how tilted his world had suddenly become.
“Are you sure?” She batted those long, beautiful eyelashes up at him.
“I am quite sure.” She nodded once, the smile taking on her face again as if she hadn’t just torn his world apart and put it back together in the span of two minutes. She grabbed the books from the ground and tucked them under one arm, wrapping the other around his and pulling him quickly towards the castle.
There was no one else he would ever consider confessing his feelings for, good or bad. No one else could destroy him if they ever decided they were tired of him. No one else held his heart as she did. Only her. Only ever her.
This Dance - T. R. x male!Reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is just a self-indulgent little fic for week four of @thatdammchickennugget’s hogmarch challenge, using the prompt ‘May I have this dance’. This is my first time writing for a male reader so please be nice 💛 Fic is unedited with no use of Y/N
CW: reader is a Hufflepuff with some insecurities and doubts, slight hurt/comfort, and mentions of Bellatrix Black
957 words
Tumblr media
“Excuse me. May I have this dance?”
You look up, eyes wet with tears. Your suit is stained with melted snow from how long you’ve been out here. Your face is blotchy from crying. You’re sure whomever’s asking is doing it as a prank.
But your breath catches. There, in front of you, majestic in his suit, is Tom Riddle
You stare up at him blankly. “What?”
Tom blinks down at you, as if not expecting your question. “May I have this dance?”
You look around, as if expecting to be laughed at. But there’s no one. You can barely hear the music from inside.
“You… want to dance… with me?”
Your incredulity is not hard to understand. Tom is the most popular guy in school, and the most handsome and charming guy you know. So why is he asking you to dance?
As far as anybody’s concerned, you’re a nobody. The too-quiet Hufflepuff boy on the outskirts of several friend groups, but never actually in the middle of one.
You’re the boy people pick on, the butt of jokes when no one else is around. You’re not popular or special, though your friends certainly are. Maybe one of them sent him out here as a favor.
“Yes.” Tom’s answer interrupts your depressing thoughts. You blink, having forgotten you’d asked him a question at all.
“I want to dance with you,” he continues, arching a perfect eyebrow. “That’s why I asked.”
“But… why?” You slowly pick yourself up and wipe at your eyes. Even when you’re standing up, he still towers over you. Just another reason his fangirls love him.
“Dance with me,” he says, “and I’ll tell you.”
Slowly, you nod. You weren’t really going to say no anyway. He is the most popular boy is school, after all. A dance with him is a rarity some people would kill for.
You think of Bellatrix Black specifically.
“So,” Tom’s smooth voice again interrupts your thoughts. You don’t really mind it. “What are you doing out here alone?”
“My date dumped me,” you mutter. Thinking about it makes your heart hurt. You’d been so over the moon that your crush had said yes to going to the Yule Ball with you, only for them to ditch you once the dance started.
“Hmm.” Tom’s eyes narrow. “How unfortunate for them. You’re quite a good dance partner.”
“Thanks.” You can’t deny the spark his compliment ignites in you. You try to temper it with the knowledge that he’s probably just being nice.
You dance in silence for a while after that. Tom’s gaze keeps lingering on you and it makes you nervous. So you keep quiet while frantically trying to think of something to say.
Finally, with an air of uncomfortable awkwardness, you ask, “So… why’d you want to dance with me?”
Tom’s gaze flickers with amusement. “Why wouldn’t I?”
“Well,” you hesitate. “I mean, I’m a guy, first off… and I’m not very popular or anything… and we’ve barely ever spoken to each other.”
“I’m aware you’re a guy,” Tom says, tilting his head a little. “That’s why I asked you to dance.”
You pause. You’d never really considered the possibility before that Tom was into guys. It makes your stomach flutter a little.
Thankfully sparing you from having to respond, Tom steps back and bows gracefully, ending the dance. You bow back, relieved and disappointed. You want to hang out with him more.
“Would you like to come inside with me?” Tom asks.
You blink in surprise and nod. “Uh, sure.”
Tom holds out his hand. You take it, trying so hard not to smile. It’s dumb; the way your stomach flutters at such a simple gesture.
Tom leads you back inside. You’re expecting him to drop your hand as soon as you get inside the castle, but he doesn’t let go. He just continues holding your hand all the way to the Great Hall.
A few people stare when you enter. Tom’s fangirls, no doubt; with venomous looks on their faces. You’re not really surprised but it still makes you nervous. You start to let go, but Tom grips your hand tighter.
“Ignore them,” he says firmly. Your cheeks warm.
You look up at him. “You’re sure you wanna be seen with me?”
“Of course.” Tom looks down at you. “Why wouldn’t I wish to be seen with you?”
“I—“ You don’t know what to say to that. Your insecurities seem laughable in the face of his smooth confidence.
“I just wanted to make sure,” you mumble, gripping his hand a little tighter. You feel like he can see right through you, and you don’t want him to let go.
Tom smirks a bit. He leans down, close enough that his breath ghosts over your ear. It makes your body shiver and your stomach flutter.
“I’d rather be seen with you than with any of the girls here,” he whispers, voice soft and silky. Practically dripping with charm. “My reasons are my own, but do not think that’s cause for you to doubt me. I chose you.”
Your heart feels like it’s about to burst. Your face is hot, your stomach filled with butterflies.
“Oh,” you say softly. “Okay.”
Tom smiles, a thin smile but a genuine one. He holds out his free hand to you. “Shall we dance?”
You take his hand with a shy nod. Perhaps it’s his effortless charm, or the way his words soothe your anxieties, or even just his good looks themselves; but something about him is irresistible.
You’d say yes to anything he asked. The smirk on his face shows he knows it. You’re done for, and you don’t think you've ever been more excited for anything in your life.
Y/n: If I die first, promise to wait for me, okay, Tom?
Tom: Oh, Y/n. When I die, I’m taking you with me.
Y/n: I can’t tell if that’s a threat or a compliment.
Tom: I’d think of it more as a grim inevitability.
Omg I loved what u wrote about rafe but I'm currently in love with tom riddle again. Can you write a smut (or fluff whatever u like) about a popular!Hufflepuff reader (or whatever house u like) with tom trying to seduce her?
Of course! I'm going to write smut because, with Tom Riddle, fluff is pretty much nonexistent, but I will make the smut a bit softer than I usually would. Though Tom Riddle would never be sweet during honest sex, he would be if he was trying to seduce someone.
My Tutor
Tumblr media
Warnings: Underage sex (Tom and reader are seventeen), seduction, manipulation, sub!reader unprotected sex.
Summary: Reader is at risk of failing her potions class, and she has to ace her next test in order to pass the class. She thinks that getting a perfect score on her next test is impossible, but when a certain dark-haired Slytherin offers his aid, she finds hope.  What she doesn't know is that Tom Riddle is not helping her because he wants her to pass the class. He is helping her because he has been looking for an opportunity to seduce her for months.  And when he finds it, he takes it.
Sighing, I set down my graded essay and cross my arms over my chest.
"What's wrong, Y/N?" my classmate, Abraxas, asks.
"I failed," I sigh. I was studying for this potions essay for two weeks. I spent every night and day researching everything there is to know about potions, and yet I still failed.
"It's just one essay. You'll make it up," Abraxas says, dismissing my feelings about failing the paper as something unimportant.
"It's not just one essay," I tell him. "I'm barely passing potions. If I don't ace my next test, I'm going to fail the class." Though my grades are literally perfect in every other class, in this one, they are downright awful.
"I could always tutor you," a sudden voice says. Turning my head to the left, I see Tom Riddle standing above me, his hands clasped behind his back. Eyebrows furrowing, I ask, "Why would you offer?" Though I am quite liked throughout the school by most of the students and staff, there are still some people that do not like me. Tom Riddle is one of those people.
"You said you were at high risk of failing. If I tutor you, you will pass," he answers simply, as if I am stupid for asking my question.
For a moment, I think about denying his offer because I know how calculating and manipulative Tom Riddle can be when it suits him, but if I don't take him up on his offer, I am going to fail. Tom Riddle is top of the class, meaning there is no one better. If I want to pass, I need him.
"When can you tutor me?" I ask.
"Tonight," he answers, and my eyes widen. "Are you sure?" I ask. I hadn't expected him to offer to tutor me so soon.
"The test is in one week. If you wish to pass, we should start as soon as possible," he tells me.
I glance back at Abraxas, who just shrugs his shoulders and silently encourages me to take Tom Riddle up on his offer.
Swallowing, I look back at Tom Riddle. "Okay. Where?"
"The room of requirement after hours. Eleven to be precise," he answers before turning around and walking away. He heads toward the back of the library before disappearing behind a tall bookshelf.
I turn back to Abraxas and admit, "I don't know how I feel about being alone with him after hours."
"He's not going to hurt you," Abraxas assures, but even he knows that isn't something he can promise. Though I have never personally seen Tom Riddle cause harm to someone, I hear the rumors murmured throughout the school. I hear the rumors of him terrifying first-years and casting the imperius curse on sixth-years. I hear the rumors of him casting the cruciatus curse on those who have failed the tasks he has given them.
He has never been caught, but he has turned seventeen. That means the trace is no longer on him. The only way to prove that he used one of the unforgivable curses is to have a witness, and there are never witnesses.
"If his intentions were honest, he wouldn't want to meet alone after hours," I mumble, looking down at my potions essay.
"He can't kill you in the school, Y/N. You're worrying for nothing," Abraxas says, dismissing my thoughts.
"Am I?" I retort, meeting the fair-haired wizard's gaze.
He ignores my concerns yet again because he knows they are valid. Instead of arguing with me, he just says, "Do you have a choice?"
At his words, my gaze travels down to my potions essay, which is marked in dozens of places in bright red ink.
Swallowing, I answer, "No."
*****************************************************
Making my way down the large hallways of the school, I quickly head toward the room of requirement. It is just before eleven at night, but professors and other staff are often awake at this time. It's risky for me to leave my common room after hours.
But as Abraxas reminded me earlier today in the library, I do not have a choice.
When I come across a small corridor with a spiral staircase made of stone, I take it, heading upward until I get to the seventh floor of the large castle.
Once I step off of the staircase, I make my way to the corridor on the floor on the left. Once there, I make my way forward until I come across a wall made of stone with nothing on it.
I stand in front of the wall for a few moments, and eventually, a wooden door appears in front of me. I swallow and intake a deep breath before walking forward and opening the door.
I make my way into the room of requirement and see Tom Riddle standing just a few feet away from me, his hands clasped promptly behind his back. To the right of him is a rectangular table with two chairs on opposite sides. To the left of him is a large fireplace made of gray stone. Within the stone fireplace are a few green logs, crackling because of the green fire burning them.
"You came," he announces, his eyes narrowed as if he did not expect me to.
"I didn't really have a choice," I admit.
"We all have a choice."
His words cause my mouth to gape slightly because I don't know what to say to that.
Clearing my throat, I ask, "Shall we start?"
He nods and glances at the table he stands next to.
Taking the hint, I walk over to the table and pull out the chair on my side before taking a seat in it. He, however, does not do the same. Instead, he continues standing next to me, not even a foot away. "I have reviewed your most recent essay. You struggle most with the fundamental elements of each ingredient within a potion. You struggle with explaining how these ingredients make a certain potion when mixed together."
He takes a step closer to me, and I find myself swallowing at the action. He stands only two inches away from me—close enough for me to smell his cologne, close enough for me to feel his shadows.
"We shall work on that first," he says, and I give a curt nod.
His hand reaches out, and he grabs a piece of parchment with neat notes written on it in the finest of cursive—no doubt written by Tom himself. He wouldn't settle for notes written by anyone other than himself.
"I'm going to ask a series of questions. You are going to answer them," he says, leaving little room for argument.
"What is Aconite used for?" he asks.
"It's used in the Wolfsbane Potion and Wideye Potion," I answer.
"That's not what I asked."
"Yes, it was," I argue.
"I asked what it is used for, not what it is used in," he tells me, and I roll my eyes.
"What's the difference?"
"This is what I mean," he tells me, "you're misunderstanding the questions asked on tests and misunderstanding the prompts on essays. You know the material. You are just misunderstanding what is asked of you."
"Then, how do I fix that?" I ask.
"First, I want you to try to answer these questions," he says, grabbing a piece of parchment from the stack of papers on the table I'm sitting at. He brings it in front of me and says, "Read the questions and answer them. Really read them. Now that you know what your problem is, you may be able to fix it without my help. Give it a try."
Though I don't think I will be able to do what he thinks I can, I nod my head and turn my attention to the paper in front of me. On it is a series of hand-written questions written in the darkest of ink.
I look for a quill on the table, but when I don't find one, I turn to Tom. I see him holding a quill and an inkpot. He hands the quill to me and sets the golden pot of ink down on the table, a few inches away from my paper.
I mumble words of thanks before dipping the quill he gave me into the ink pot and casting my gaze on the paper in front of me once more.
I begin to read over the questions and prompts on the paper, double and triple-checking the questions before bringing the end of the quill to the paper and writing down an answer. I then check the questions again and my answers again before moving on to the next one.
Tom, though silent and uninterrupting, stands right next to me, distracting me even though he does not mean to. He watches me as I answer the questions he has written down, his blue eyes narrowed in observance.
After about ten minutes of answering the questions on Tom Riddle's "quiz," I feel Tom Riddle shift. He moves so that he stands behind me instead of next to me before leaning over.
Turning his head so that his mouth is close to my ear, he whispers, "Reread number seven." The coolness of his breath against my skin causes goosebumps to break out all over my body, but I try my best to ignore them. I give him a curt nod before redirecting my gaze to the seventh question on the parchment. I reread it and see that I misread the question when I answered it a minute ago.
I dip my quill back into the inkpot before crossing out my written answer and writing a new one. Once I do, I set my quill down and wait for Tom Riddle to either tell me to try again or tell me that I got it right.
"Very good," he whispers into my ear, his deep voice causing my body to wrack with a small shiver.
He seems to notice this because he tilts his head and says, "Am I making you nervous?"
I swallow and shake my head, scared that my voice will betray me if I choose to give him a verbal answer.
I see Tom Riddle's eyes narrow out of the corner of my eye.
Tom Riddle moves his hand toward the table and gently grabs my hand, his index and middle fingers gently pressing into the underside of my wrist. "Then why is your heart racing?" he asks, and my eyes widen when I realize he has hold of my wrist to check my pulse.
He leans closer, and his eyes drop down to my chest, which is only covered by a thin, yellow top. "Why are you breathing so heavily?"
Swallowing, I try my best to scoot away from him, but with one of his hands gripping the back of my chair, it's impossible.
"There's no need to move away, Y/N," he says, letting go of my wrist. His now unoccupied hand goes to my hair. He tucks a lock of it behind my ear, and a small breath escapes my lips.
Leaning in, he whispers lowly into my ear, "There's no need to ignore what you want."
My body wracks with yet another shiver, and I mentally curse myself for it.
"Tom, we should be studying—"
"Is that really how you want to spend your time with me?" he asks, cutting me off. "Do you really want to spend your time with me learning potion formulas instead of allowing me to give you the pleasure you seek?"
A small gasp escapes my lips at his words, and the corner of his lips kicks up. Holding my gaze, he moves his hand. He moves it downward until it hovers just above my breasts. He lets it hover there for a moment before grabbing the top button of my yellow top and undoing it.
When I make no move to stop him or push him away, he undoes the second button, then the third, and the fourth.
Only when he gets to the last button of my top do I realize what he is doing. I quickly shove myself away from him and stand up from my chair. "We can't," I tell him, intaking deep breaths because I wasn't breathing at all a moment ago.
"Why not?" he asks, tilting his head.
Swallowing, I shake my head again and avoid answering his question. My cheeks are inflamed with heat, and I'm afraid that if I answer him, I will either give him an answer that he knows is a lie or an answer that is the truth, which is the very last thing I want.
Tom Riddle takes a step forward. "Are you afraid I'm going to hurt you?" Though I would love to say yes, I can't because I know that it would be a lie.
And he would know it too.
So, I shake my head.
"Then what are you afraid of?" he asks, taking another step forward. He stands only half a foot away from me now, and it makes me take a step backward.
"I'm not afraid," I assure. "I'm simply not interested."
His head tilts, and he takes another step forward. And then another. He keeps moving closer to me until he backs me up against the stone wall behind me. Once he has, he brings his hand up to my face and thumbs my bottom lip. "Give me a real answer, and I'll leave you alone."
After a few moments of silence, his gaze drops from my eyes to my lips. He begins to stroke my bottom lip with his thumb, his eyes fixed on the movement.
Suddenly, he parts my mouth and sticks his thumb inside. My lips close around his finger on instinct, and he notices this with a smirk. "You can lie to yourself all you want," he tells me, tucking another lock of hair behind my ear with his free hand, "but you can't lie to me."
He removes his thumb from my mouth before surging forward, pressing his lips to mine. My eyes widen at the action, but all it takes is the sweep of his tongue against my lips for me to lean into the kiss. My eyes flutter closed, and I return the kiss.
Tom's large hands go to my top, and he undoes the very last button before pulling the top off of me, leaving me in only a black corset. Breaking the kiss, he grabs my shoulders and turns me around. He gently pushes my front against the cold wall in front of me before grabbing the laces of my corset. He quickly unties the corset while leaving kisses on my shoulders and neck.
Once he peels the corset from my body, he turns me around so that I am facing him.
My torso and breasts are hit by the coldness of the air, and a small gasp escapes my lips. I quickly cover my breasts with my hands, but he pulls my hands away and says, "Don't you dare."
"Tom—"
My words are cut off when he grabs my arm and spins both of us around. He then grabs my waist in his large hands and lifts me up. He sets me down on a cold, hard surface, and I don't realize that I am on top of a table until I look down and see the wood.
When I look back at Tom Riddle, I do not find him standing in front of me anymore.
I find him on his knees.
"Has someone given you an orgasm before?" he asks, and my mouth parts in a gasp.
"I'll take that as a no," he says, grabbing my thighs with his cold hands. He gently spreads them before saying, "Lift your hips for me, little witch."
I obey on instinct, and he grabs the end of my Hufflepuff uniform skirt before pulling it down until it reaches my ankles. He then pulls it off and tosses it somewhere in the room.
Though the frigid air around me makes me try to close my thighs, Tom Riddle makes it impossible. He keeps my thighs open with his powerful hands.
"Have you ever been with someone before?" he asks, and I swallow before nodding in answer. "One," I whisper.
"And he didn't make you cum?" he asks, and I swallow before shaking my head.
"Pity," he says, teasing my clothed pussy with his index finger. "A beautiful witch such as yourself shouldn't be left unsatisfied." My cheeks heat at his words, and he notices this with a widening of his smirk.
"Tell me, have you ever touched yourself?" he asks, and I nod.
"And did you cum?" he asks. I hesitate for a moment before shaking my head.
Narrowing his eyes, he asks, "Have you ever had an orgasm?"
My cheeks heat yet again, but this time it isn't because of lust; it's because of embarrassment.
"There's nothing to be ashamed about, Y/N," he tells me, moving my panties to the side so that my pussy is exposed to him. He trails his index finger up my slit until it brushes over my clit, and my hips involuntarily buck against him.
Leaning in, he blows on my exposed clit, and a breath of air passes my lips. "Tom," I beg, but I don't know what for.
"Do you want me to touch you?" he asks, and I nod. Though I know that I shouldn't be doing this with him, the need to have him touch me overpowers all the warning bells going off in my mind.
"I need words, Y/N."
"Touch me please," I beg, and he obliges immediately. He presses his index finger against my clit and begins rubbing tight circles into it. "You have all of these stressful things weighing on you and no way to relax," he says, teasing my entrance with his middle finger. "Such a pity," he tells me, sliding his middle finger inside of me.
"Tom," I breathe, bucking my hips against him. "More." I don't want to rush him or boss him around, but I need more. I need him to make me cum.
"Such a greedy little thing," he chides, removing his finger from me. My eyes widen at the loss, and I open my mouth to tell him to touch me again, but he shushes me by speaking first. "I'll give you what you want, Y/N. Don't worry."
I watch him as he undoes his belt and tosses it to the floor beneath him. The metal of his buckle hits the stone floor with a loud noise that causes me to flinch slightly.
He seems to notice my flinch because he says, "Don't be afraid. I won't hurt you." Leaning forward, he presses another kiss on my lips, which I return in less than a millisecond.
My hands go to his slacks, which I quickly unzip. He steps out of them before pushing me down onto the table so that I am lying on it. "Hold on to me," he tells me, and my eyebrows furrow in confusion. Seeing my confusion, he says, "Trust me. You'll want to hold on."
Though I do not understand why he is telling me to hold on to him, I obey and grab onto his large arms.
That's when I feel it.
Something hard touches my core, and I look up at Tom's face when I realize that it is his cock. "Tom—"
"Trust me, little witch," he breathes, pushing the head of his cock into me. I gasp when I feel how thick it is, and my nails involuntarily dig into the flesh of his large arms.
"Shh," he says, bringing his hand up to my face. He strokes my cheek with his thumb as he gently continues to push inside of me. "It will feel good in a moment. Just hold on."
Though the sheer size of him pains me, his words cause me to nod my head and close my eyes tightly as I wait for the pain to subside.
Slowly and gently, he works his way inside of me, stroking my cheek and whispering words of encouragement as he does. Once he finally bottoms out, he whispers, "Are you okay?"
Though I am still in some pain, I nod my head, and he begins to slowly move.
I keep my hands on his biceps so I can hold onto him, and he seems to notice because he moves one of his arms so he can reach between my legs. He moves his fingers until he finds my clit, and once he does, he begins to rub tight circles into it.
The feeling of him rubbing tight circles into my clit causes me to relax around him, and I find myself allowing my eyes to flutter closed, in pleasure this time; not pain.
Wiggling my hips, I try to get him to rub my clit faster, but he doesn't. He rubs slow, tight circles into me, and it makes me whine in frustration.
I see him tilt his head, a wicked smirk forming on his pale face. "Tell me what you want," he says, continuing to circle my clit and fuck me at an agonizingly slow pace.
"Faster," I breathe, hoping he will understand what I mean.
He does.
He circles my clit faster and begins to gently pick up the pace of his thrusts.
Though I have touched myself before and have been touched by others, it has never felt like this. His touches are so skilled, and it makes me whine in pleasure.
I feel something coiling low in my stomach, and my eyes widen. "Tom," I say, my voice shaky. "Tom, I feel something weird—"
"Shh," he says. "Don't fight it. Just let go."
"Tom—"
"Trust me," he says as he continues rubbing my clit and thrusting into me.
The feeling in my lower stomach intensifies as he continues fucking me, and eventually, I am hit with an overwhelming feeling of pleasure. My eyes flutter closed, and my mouth parts in a quiet moan as pleasure takes me. "Oh, God," I whimper.
Tom Riddle's thrusts begin to quicken, and my eyes open when I feel it. I look up at Tom Riddle and see him with his bottom lip caught between his teeth.
He begins to fuck me at a hard, fast pace, and though I am very sensitive because of the orgasm I just had, I don't object to his roughness. Instead, I watch as a rapture of pleasure overtakes his features.
I feel him pull out of me, and a second later, I feel something squirt onto my stomach.
When his eyes open, he looks down at me. "You're never going to be satisfied by someone else again."
He gets off of me before helping me off of the table. He then grabs my skirt and allows me to step into it. He pulls it up before grabbing the rest of my clothes and helping me dress. Once I'm fully dressed, he puts his clothes on as well.
"You need more tutoring. Meet me here again tomorrow night."
The Snake and the Badger - Tom Riddle
Summary: Tom Riddle has taken an interest in you...
Warnings: None!! Wait... Tom is being... nice?
Tumblr media
You smiled at your friends at the Hufflepuff table as you ate your dinner. As you were talking to one of your classmates, your friend tapped your shoulder.
"Y/N"! Tom Riddle is looking at you!" Your eyes widened. Whipping around to face her, she smiled at you.
"What?!" You have had the biggest crush on Tom since your first year but you didn't think he even knew your name.
"Don't look now but he has been eyeing you for the past 3 minutes!" You started to blush.
"What do I do?"
"Laugh or something!" You pretended to laugh, running your hand through your hair and stealing a glance at the Slytherin table. Sure enough, Tom Riddle, Slytherin Prefect, and Head Boy, not to mention the smartest and most attractive boy in all of Hogwarts, was in fact staring at you. Well, glaring mostly.
"He's glaring at me." She grinned.
"But he is looking at you!" You rolled your eyes, brushing away the disappointment you felt.
"Not the same." You finished eating your dinner, not entertaining Tom's gaze, or your feelings, for the rest of the night.
As dessert appeared you got up from the table. "I'm going to go to bed guys. Enjoy dessert." Your classmates said goodbye as you walked out of the Great Hall. You didn't notice the young man getting up from the Slytherin Table as you went.
You walked towards the Hufflepuff Common Room, hoping to get some reading done before bed. As you neared the entrance you heard a voice cut through the silence.
"Y/N." You stopped, knowing exactly who had said your name. Turning slowly, you made eye contact with the Slytherin Prefect himself. He looked perfect, as always. His tie was perfectly straight, not a hair out of place, his slacks not wrinkled, and a small smile adorned his handsome face.
"Yes?" Your voice came out smaller than you had wanted it to. He walked closer to you, his height intimidating you. You ran through what you looked like at the moment. Your hair was probably a mess, your makeup was probably all gone, and your clothes were probably wrinkly. Definitely not impressing.
"What are you doing tomorrow?" Your mind blanked for a second.
What are you doing tomorrow?
"Uh..." Was all that came out of your mouth. The corners of Tom's mouth went up the slightest bit.
Hogsmeade! The Hogsmeade visit is tomorrow!
"I'm going to Hogsmeade." You said.
"No, you aren't."
"What are yo-"
"You are spending the day with me." He turned around, walking back down the hallway. "Wear something nice." He said before stopping and turning around. "Not that you don't already look nice." He turned around again. "I like that uniform on you."
You were left by yourself in the hallway. Tom Riddle just asked you on a date. Or, told you you were going on a date.
Fuck.
You woke up with a start, seeing the empty dormitory.
Shit.
What was the time? You clambered around, trying to find a clock to check the time. Had you missed breakfast? It was Saturday, so no classes.
11:00 AM.
You racked your brain, trying to remember. Your mind flashed back to last night, your conversation with Tom, the lovely chapter of the book-TOM.
SHITSHITSHIT.
Tom Riddle had never actually given you a specific time to meet him, so technically, you weren't late.
You quickly fix your hair, throwing it up into a ponytail with a white ribbon. Deciding mascara and blush would be enough, you run to the bathroom to brush your teeth before completing your makeup, and then to your dresser to put on a nice pink dress.
You glance in the mirror, hoping this will be presentable enough for Tom. The Hufflepuff common room is quiet as you walk into the room but you are startled to see a dark-haired male, dressed in a dark green sweater sitting on one of the many couches in the room. The contrast between his dark clothing and the yellow couch is impossible not to notice.
"Hello, Tom." Your voice surprises you. He glances up from, reading a book and offers you a very small, tight-lipped smile.
"Good afternoon, Y/N." He stands, setting the book on a side table with a few others. He crosses the room to meet you, and with his long legs, this takes very few steps. You cannot take your eyes off of his beautiful green ones. "Did you sleep well?" He towers over you. You knew Tom Riddle was tall, you had had a conversation with him face-to-face last night, but now, in the daylight and with your mind only on him, it is basically all you can focus on. "Hm?" You blink back to reality and Tom smirks.
"Oh, I uh, I slept very well, thank you for asking." You blush and look away so he doesn't notice...He most definitely does. His hand reaches up to tuck a stray piece of hair away from your face, your cheeks turning even redder.
"I'm glad to hear it." His hand returns to his side, and you let out a shaky breath. He smiles a real smile, something you had never seen him do. "Follow me." He turns on his heel, walks to the door of the common room, and holds it open for you, You rush to the door.
"Thank you." You manage to get out before walking into the main hall, the smell from the kitchen overwhelming your senses. Your stomach grumbles.
"Hungry?" His cool voice comes from behind you, sending a small shiver down your back. His lean form bends down next to you. "Let's go eat darling." You can't help the blush that spreads across your cheeks. He walks next to you, guiding you down the empty corridor. You glance at him out of the corner of your eyes to examine him further. You had never seen him dressed so casually. His dark pants and sweater were still "preppy" and put together but it was new for Tom.
"Were you waiting long?" you ask. You look towards him, finding him looking ahead, a pleasant smile on his handsome face.
"I've noticed that you don't show up to breakfast on the weekends so I gathered that you like to sleep in. Your friend let me into the common room around 10." He looks down at you, a smirk playing on his lips. Your eyes widen because you had made him wait for an hour. You stop.
"I'm so sorry Tom! I should have set an alarm or woken up sooner-" Tom grabs your hands that have been gesturing in the air to stop you. You look up at him, his dark green eyes amused.
"Darling don't worry. I would have woken you up myself if I wanted to." He let one of your hands go, but kept his grip on the other, leading you back down the hall.
Your mind flashes briefly to Tom waking you up, making you blush.
"Where are we going?" You ask, curious as you two climb the stairs of the castle.
"Don't you trust me, my love?" He is still holding your hand, your heart racing at the contact and the nickname.
You remain silent for the rest of the walk, enjoying his presence and his hand in yours.
This is cute. Made me smile.
