#i need him
I still can't believe they decided to delete a scene where Ian and Mickey discuss Ian's bipolar in a healthy way and communicate. Yet they somehow have kept "dom top daddy" "5 times last night" and various nonsense lines.

when I couldn’t sleep the other night bc I was feeling shitty I lay there imagining Bailey memes like “apartment ‘complex?’ heh... I actually find it quite simple” and that really cheered me up tbh :’)

My entire class applauded our lecturer for having a masters degree. Not because we were surprised or impressed. It’s because he’s a nice man and we want him to know he’s appreciated.
“Guillermo,” he looks very earnest, like a small child striking up the courage to solve a math problem on the blackboard. “I want to make a drink of tea.”
Guillermo pulls a face. Okay, that’s new. But hardly out of the ordinary; Guillermo’s master makes a point of asking him at least one, totally out of left field question per month, and at this point after eleven very weird, very long years he’s had to start taking it in his stride. There was the whole deal with learning about polyester (and Guillermo had to actually ask his Mom, because unbeknownst to the ancient vampire Guillermo wasn’t actually alive when people starting switching from cotton, and he didn’t have the heart to tell him that the fabric had come full circle and was now desperately out of fashion), and a magazine shoved in his face one evening with an expose on Liberace (”Why didn’t you tell me, Guillermo? You know how close we were!”), and a entire week of increasingly annoying questions on the monarchy of England, and how come half of Europe didn’t answer to their kings but England (of apparently all places) still had their Queen on the currency of at least two different countries, Guillermo?
He tries his best. Every damn time. And maybe even likes spending his daylight hours researching for his Master. But nobody needs to know that.
“Master, you don’t drink tea,” Guillermo turns back to the long cape draped across his knees. About six years ago he started to teach himself how to sew after a rather disasterous trip to the dressmakers. Apparently museums keep tabs on clothing older than three hundred years passing through businesses. That was an awkward conversation and a half. Anyway. Guillermo stabs another neat, little hole in the inside corner of the cape and waits for this month’s explaination on why his Master needs to know something desperately.
There’s a sigh.
“I know I do not drink tea Guillermo,” the tall vampire says with words that run into each other quickly. “You think after seven hundred years of being dead I do not know this?”
“Seven hundred and counting,” Guillermo says under his breath and pulls the needle through with a little more vigor than neccessary. His master either doesn’t hear (unlikely) or chooses to ignore him (more likely).
There’s a silence that follows, not a particularly strange one nor awkward for Guillermo knows that Nandor often has trouble coming down off his perch and well, treating him like a human being rather than a subordinate. He pins it down to not knowing how to process his thoughts in a polite manner. Or at least that’s what Guillermo has been telling himself with considerably more frequency over the last few years.
Hands clasp together.
“Guillermo,” the vampire tries again. Ah, there it is. A tone that doesn’t make him want to get up, lock himself in the upstairs bathroom and scream into the shower curtain. Guillermo lifts his head from his work and places the needle to one side. Smiles just a tiny bit, because somehow it does seem to have an effect on his master. A secret weapon.
“You want me to teach you how to make tea,” He says and then adds, very carefully lest he actually offends him, “I thought tea was pretty common back where you’re from.”
Guillermo knows more than the vampire has actually told him over the years; at some point, maybe half way through a period where he hadn’t felt like giving up on the whole familar business altogether, he decided to sit down and go through the books Nandor kept in the library. There was a whole section that was totally unreadable due to not being in English -- and he had the thought that Nandor probably hadn’t touched any of them in centuries -- and then some dusty, old volumes devoted solely to the exact time period the ancient vampire had last been alive in. Guillermo thought it was telling that the books didn’t go past the year he was turned. A wilful ignorance of life beyond the grave. Maybe there was more to Nandor that he wasn’t entirely sure he wanted to uncover. Anyway, Guillermo spent a decent amount of time plugging in some of the titles of the books into Google and delving into the very bloody, very War-centric history of the Ottoman Empire. You know, just in case he’d have an odd question fired at him at some point in the future. Like right now.
“Yes,” Nandor starts to get a far-off look in his eyes. “With a little square of sugar, very melty on your tongue so the tea wouldn’t be too bitter. I didn’t like the bitter tastes.”
Hmm. Good to know. Guillermo makes a mental note. It’s far and few between that his master speaks about his human days, let alone anything human-like. Sometimes Guillermo forgets there’s a man in there somewhere. A very tired, very old man but one he can’t help but like all the same. Even after he called him stupid for the tenth time this week. His face contorts again and he picks at the thread his needle left behind.
“Well, it sounds like you don’t need me to teach you then,” Guillermo shrugs at the cape on his knees. He’s sure there’s a look being shot to the back of his head but he doesn’t care much to see it. He thinks he’d rather just go back to fixing his master’s clothes and call it a night.
Predictably there’s another sigh and the sound of the other cape -- this one actually sitting on the vampire’s shoulders, gold glinting in the dim light -- moving across the carpeted floor. Without warning the couch squeaks in protest as Nandor sits next to him, albeit with a sizeable distance between them. Guillermo makes himself busy with the needle again.
“This is important,” Nandor says. It’s a different tact with just a tiny bit of a pleading edge. Guillermo turns his head approximately one inch to the side to indicate that he’s listening. “I want to make an impression.”
An impression? Brows knitted together, he flips through his mental library of all the people Nandor could possibly know. Then again, he thinks, maybe there was going to be another impromtu guest like the Baron. Guillermo shudders a little at the memory. Okay, nothing like that again please. Not now not ever. But what kind of vampire would appreciate a cup of tea anyway? He’s pretty sure Colin Robinson doesn’t drink tea, so energy vampires were ruled out. Could his master possibly mean a human -- no, that wouldn’t make any sense. For one, their next door neighbours aren’t really the type to drink tea (more like copious amounts of cheap beer, but who was he to judge). And he’s certain by the look on the vampire’s face whenever they have to interact with regular people that a chance meeting just wouldn’t be on the cards. Right?
“An impression,” Guillermo can’t help the way his voice escapes. “On who, Master.”
Forbidden B*wser story should hopefully be finished by the end of the month. I’m a fair way through it already

NO WAIT IM NOT FINISHED YET. IM MAD NOW.
tbh thanks god i didn’t watch i-land when it was being on transmission bc i’d have resented k more that i do now. he’s manipulative, he wants to be always leading (even though heeseung is the unit’s leader??? tf), he always wants to be right and ALWAYS wants to have the center parts (even if he doesn’t fit well in them), as if he didn’t know he almost got eliminated by the producers.
i can’t believe how heeseung would take his words so seriously?? heeseung, love, the producers said they were proud of you??? every trainee there looks up to you because you’re an ace??? you always have the highest scores??? how could u let this dude manipulate u,,,,

While we’re kinda on the topic of pickle, can I just say that he has the sweetest laugh? Like in the letters dub (for a spilt sec) and in seas the day. It’s also kinda quiet, making it difficult to picture him laughing hysterically (not including the evil laugh he did in seas the day). God i’m so sorry I just love his laugh SDGSFGSDDGGFSGF
YOURE RIGHT HE DOES!!! GOD!!!!!!!!! i hope derek knows he has a really good voice!

Thinking about how the batfam would bully Bruce about how he looked and news scandals about him when he was younger
They find pictures of 15 year old him with blonde hair and they don't stop making fun of him for months

Okay yea I’m really happy with him now. :D
He’s done on the Citadel and ready to head out already. Helped that I’d just done all this on Riley so I knew exactly where I was going. XD
Gonna head to Therum asap then probably do my usual run through all the systems hunting down side quests for levels. Don’t want to leave the main story for too long though.
Side note - I did Trebin on Riley before starting with Max so I’ve met the new improved thresher maw and I gotta say I Do Not Want. Why Bioware. Why.

my beloved comrade in arms @yanqings tagged me to do this gifset! thank you 💖
i’ll put this under a read more so i won’t like overwhelm people with a long post
the endless gifs of wwx is something extremely self indulgent, and also i wanted to practice background coloring since i tended to veer away from that a lot. anyway i decided to find some of my favorite scenes with wwx and episode 5 was literally one of the first episodes that came up (mind you i don’t have all the episodes downloaded yet so i’m working with what i’ve got). i know there’s many ways to background color, but i decided to just do a color (in this case purple) and overlay it over the existing scene since the background was mostly white to begin with and coloring using hue/saturation or selective color would be more of a pain than just overlaying a color.
okay so once i have imported and figured out which frames i’ll be using, i immediately start with cropping/resizing. in this case, i decided with making the set 500x500. after that’s done with, i move onto coloring/levels/curves whatever adjustments i need really until i’m happy with how it looks. in this case, i decided to use warmer colors. here’s a before and after of what the set looks like after adding adjustments.
with the adjustment coloring done, i moved onto the background and decided to go with a gradient of purple, placed the layer on top of the frames, and set the layer setting to color.
haha he’s 🅱urple so to remove the purple gradient over wwx, i used a vector mask, and with the paintbrush tool, i removed the bits i didn’t want to be purple (in this case wwx). this method honestly works if the person in frame isn’t moving a lot since you’d have to repeat the process or else the color will get onto said moving object.
so here’s a before and after of what the gif looked like initially versus what it turned into
as soon as i finish a set of gifs, i usually save them in my drafts to check how the quality looks compared to desktop and mobile.
once i’ve finished like captioning and tagging my gifs, i usually post them immediately because i’m impatient fjkjfjkdfk. and yeah that's basically my process!
not really tagging anyone because everyone has already done this, but if you’d like to participate, feel free to throw my name in!
