Anyone interested in some fic recs? Here’s a few ones I recently read and am enjoying — I prefer long, slow burn stories heavy on characterization/character study with adult protagonists, so that’s what’s on the list! As always, check the ratings and mind the tags; almost all are M for themes/language and a few have E chapters. This list is not exhaustive, and doesn’t include many older works, so if you have q’s or want more recs, ask away!
EraserMight
Blood Orange by @flyingjemsaucer is my happy place right now (the author has other lovely EraserMight fics too). It’s a wonderful AU with orange farmer/vendor Toshinori and teacher Aizawa. This one is interesting and different because Toshinori is un-injured and Aizawa has his post-PLF disabilities. As a bonus, this fic also has great DadMight and Dadzawa, with David Shield and married Mic/Midnight as the best friends of the lead pair.
Closed Fist and Bleeding Heart by MoonlightAndDust (who I believe also wrote this AU twitfic). Just all around good, canon universe, angsty EraserMight.
EraserMic
Nine Lives by machiroads (also check out the author’s Naruhata Noir, which ties in to Vigilantes lore). This one is set during Aizawa’s canon post-war hospital stay and features a super fun Mirko, snarky little shithead [affectionate] Shinso, and good OCs. Honestly, the EraserMic romance is just one part of the story, and that’s fine because it’s full of other things.
And When It All Goes to Hell by @purekesseltrash (also check out the author’s Rooftop Necromancy series for a band AU). Both of these fics are examples of an author’s other hobbies/interests making the fic truly special. This one is a hockey AU and it’s great! Filled with lots of cool details, it cuts between the teenage rooftop trio and the adult Hizashi and Shouta reuniting after 10+ years to figure their shit out. Knowing some hockey stuff helps, but isn’t required at all — the drama is still there! And if you want to read about 1A students in this hockey AU, then you’re in luck because the author has that too (though I have yet to read it myself only because I prefer adult protagonists).
ToshInko
Naive Melody by @aconstantstateofbladerunner. I also like many of the author’s other works including For Kurou and Dekugate, but I think this one deserves more attention for its terrifying premise and action sequences. It keeps the core “hero society” concept from MHA and then goes and does its own thing. Also, I love the Talking Heads references — you KNOW how I get with my 80s new wave music!
Bones of You by @thoughtfulraven. A really sweet story set in the canon universe, with BFFs Inko and Mitsuki and a closer look at Toshinori’s mental state.
Nighteye/All Might
Happiness by @puddinginthemix made me like Nighteye, and that’s a feat. Set in the canon universe with canon events…I’ll just say this one made me tear up a bit.
DadMight and gen All Might
Living Well by @krisingtons is super sweet. If you want some DadMight fluff, this is where you go. (I also happen to really like the Quirk Development Theories series, especially the OC that pairs off with Inko in one of the later stories because they all work together so well to support Izuku).
Learning to Trust by @siriusfan13, a longtime favorite. Not only is this a fantastic look at All Might in the year before he agreed to work at UA, but the author links some amazing DadMight/genMight fic recs at the end of (most) chapters.
Kacchako & also Hawks (WhaaAAaa????)
Toy Soldiers by AJLenoire is a bit of a wild card on this list, but it’s really well-written. The multiple subplots within the Kacchako plot and the Hawks/OC plot are all fun, and the Hawks/OC relationship is a blast.

First word
Aizawa x baby reader
Warnings: child reader, dadzawa, fluff
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Not a lot of people knew this but there was an employee Daycare at U.A, students could get extra credit if they helped out.
"Alright (name) behave and have fun" Aizawa said to his son, holding him close to his face as the little babe just kicked his little feet and grabbed his dad's nose "glad we agree" he said in a nasally voice, handing his son odd to the caretaker before waving him off.
(Name) was used to this, having gone here every day for most of his short life and was gently placed in the baby area where it was all softer and less roudy than the larger space where all the bigger kids were aka the 2+ kids.
No one needed a toddler knocking over a little guy like (name), the eight month old usually distracted with the toys and things around and the few other babies kept him company till lunch.
When lunch came, Aizawa collected his son for half an hour as did most of the parents as he brought him back to the staff lounge so the two could eat together "oh snap! Is that tinyzawa?!" Present Mic said excitedly, making sure to keep his Quirk off lest he wants to deafen a baby "you saw him yesterday calm down" Aizawa scolded as his son rested in his arms as before be grabbed him the babies of the daycare had a good ol'fashioned naptime "I'm his god parent! I can't relax with him!" Was what Aizawa got back from the blond as (name) grumpily stared at his god parent.
"God he really looks like you when he's tired"
"Well he is my son"
Aizawa fed and changed his son, the heroics teacher had been told little (name) had his diaper changed earlier and had a soft snack so it was a good old fashioned bottle for lunch "dang he's hungry" midnight joked as she watched the tiny babe guzzle down his formula "hes just downing it"
Aizawa grunted as he watched his kid eat, when the bottle was pushed away he burped the babe and rubbed his little belly "good job bud"
The staff all loved little (name), the tiny babe having playmates with fellow teachers kids and the occasional playdate, it's proven to be pretty good for (name).
Aizawa ate his lunch fast, not because he had a time frame but because his son kept trying to examine everything he had.
So he had to act fast.
Because his son was very curious and demanded to investigate everything.
Thankfully his god parent distracted him while Aizawa ate.
"You're gonna look just like your dad I can tell" Hisashi said teasingly to the tiny baby who looked at the blond with Aizawas signature expression as he suckled on his pacifier "I wonder if your going to have a quirk like your papa"
At the mention of his papa (name) bounced slightly and turned to look for his dad and when he saw him he began clapping excitedly "yeah yeah, one moment" Aizawa said putting his stuff away before grabbing his son "let's get you back to the daycare"
Aizawa put his son in the infant section, his little boy looking at his wide eyed "alright be good bud, love you"
"Dadadadada" (name) said happily as he gave a little wave, causing Aizawa to pause "....good job bud" he said softly smiling before leaving to go teach his students.
Thankfully he had his capture weapon because the rest of the day he was smiling like a fool.

do you perhap have bakugou whump fic recs?
I have many such recs! not all of them are "whump" in the purest sense of the word, but they've got angst and hurt/comfort in abundance, so yeah.
I also have an older rec post from like five years ago which has quite a few Bakugou whump fics as well, so I'll link that here.
and here are like 16 new ones lol.
some quick notes:
I'm just including links and summaries here, so please make sure to check the tags for each fic if you have certain squicks or triggers you're trying to avoid!
please be aware that I am not very nitpicky about grammar and style and spelling and the like, so long as I'm feeling the characterization and general vibes. so while I can't promise that all of these fics will read like Nobel Prize-winning lit, I can say that I personally enjoyed each one enough to go back and reread more than once.
although it tends to be one of the most common tropes in Bakugou angst fics, I do not vibe with the "abusive Mitsuki" angle, so you won't find any of that in the works below. same goes for Midnight-bashing (which is also surprisingly common).
I also did not include any fics with sad endings just because I didn't feel like depressing myself today lol.
I don't think there are manga spoilers in any of these fics except one (which I noted and marked with an asterisk), but definitely check the tags just to be safe.
lastly, though I'm by no means a prude when it comes to fanfic, all of these particular fics are SFW, just FYI.
----------------------------------------
gen Bakuwhump:
----------------------------------------
It's Already Tomorrow on the Other Side of the World by Nicole_Silverwolf
In the absolute immediate aftermath of his rescue at Kamino, Bakugou just wants to sleep. If he sleeps then this nightmare will be over. Except he's freezing in the mid August heat. And he can't stop shaking. A glimpse of two imperfect humans trying their best told in 3.5 parts.
post-Kamino Dadzawa and Katsuki. easily one of my all-time favorite BnHA fics. it's so sad and cozy.
Coming Up for Air by achievingelysium
Katsuki has nightmares. He doesn't think he deserves the comfort, but Aizawa-sensei sits with him anyway.
more Dadzawa dealing with nighttime Kacchan angst, since that's like my #1 BnHA fic aesthetic. this is so well-written. like, there are a couple of lines in here that just... guh. just hit right to the core of me.
Bakugou's "Super Fun" Three Day Vacation by Marvelless
Bakugou and his parents arrive home after the Kamino Ward incident for some much-needed recovery time.
post-Kamino Bakufam angst. lots of paranoia and dissociation. this is one of those fics that's sort of a guilty pleasure for me, because Katsuki definitely feels a lot more... fragile?... in this than I think he would have been in canon. but he's still enough of a grump during all of his spiralling that it still feels like him. and I do love me some Bakufam wholesomeness, and this fic has got that in spades.
the art of poor judgement by emelinelou
It's a Tuesday when Bakugou admits to himself that maybe, maybe he is sorta, kinda under the weather. Things go quickly downhill from there. . Alternatively: Bakugou's too stubborn to be "sick," Midoriya and Kirishima are in over their heads, Todoroki is the Most Useful in a pinch, and Aizawa is not paid nearly enough for this.
probably my favorite sickfic. chapter two especially. Bakugou's narration in this is fucking fantastic. he's so fucking done with life. meanwhile everyone around him is freaking out, and he himself is a complete mess even though he won't acknowledge it, and it's just great. it's equal parts funny, sad, and absolutely adorable.
(incidentally, even though this fic is marked as incomplete, it really doesn't feel that way and ends at a perfectly reasonable stopping point, so don't let that put you off.)
Solar Flare by TheQueen
Three weeks after Katsuki Bakugou receives his quirk, he takes a short tumble off a bridge and watches, dumbfounded, as stupid Deku extend a hand. Don’t take it, the universe commands. Don’t tell me what to do! Katsuki snaps.
this is a really cool AU in which Baby Katsuki accidentally starts defying the universe and ignoring his predestined path, which has a profound ripple effect on his life. sort of like a time-travel fix-it, minus the time travel. also just a heads up that Bakugou is like five years old in this so I guess it's technically a kidfic. and there is plenty of angst, a little bit of whump, more Bakufam, and plenty of baby Kacchan and Deku being cute like it's their job.
----------------------------------------
BKDK/DKBK whump:
----------------------------------------
lose it all (with eyes wide open) by ghostwriterofthemachine
Katsuki is blinded. Izuku is muted. Both of them are kidnapped. Things get worse.
this is one of those fics that just kind of leaves you stunned at how freaking good it is. featuring: psychological mindgames, hopelessly bleak situations, and codependency so utterly raw and desperate that it broke my heart roughly 17 times.
When Ice Doesn't Float by Ma_skee
A simple rescue exercise goes south when Izuku falls through the ice and it goes from a class assinment to an actual rescue and a race against time to keep him from freezing to death.
technically this is more Dekuwhump than Kacchanwhump (though we do get a bit of the latter toward the end), but I'd argue that few things could possibly stress Katsuki out more than being in a tense survival situation in which Deku is hurt and needs help. anyway so yeah. this is classic hurt/comfort and very good.
spinning out of control by mollE
Katsuki joins the 'I've Been Mind Controlled' Club. He wishes he hadn't.
please see above re: how all Dekuwhump scenarios are secretly Kacchanwhump scenarios in disguise. anyway so basically a mind-controlled Bakugou beats the shit out of Deku while being fully aware of it the entire time, and has a complete (and understandable) emotional breakdown afterwards.
all that you ever wanted from me was sweet nothing by maxisnotokay
Izuku has had this thing about him that Katsuki has never been able to name, but he's been chasing it since he learned how to run. It takes a catastrophic building collapse during their third year and a severe concussion for him to realize what it is. Aizawa loses ten years off his life. When does he not.
gotta love a good building collapse fic. this one has a concussed Katsuki, a very worried Izuku, and the usual "thanks to this intimate life-or-death situation, I have belatedly realized some fundamental truths about the nature of our relationship" tropes. but it's good. a lot of really good banter and back-and-forth dialogue in this one too.
takes one to know one by Sour_Idealist
Deku has left UA. Ochako still looks for him in unguarded moments. Bakugo is, unsurprisingly, being a jerk.
some good emotional hurt/comfort post-Jakku. Ochako has a chat with Bakugou about Deku. specifically, Bakugou's feelings toward Deku. it's good shit.
*fear is the heart of love by nikkiRA
*please be advised this fic contains major manga spoilers!!
Bakugou gets hit by a quirk that amplifies his greatest fear for 24 hours.
losing Deku. the thing that scares him the most is losing Deku. this is a good fic. emotional hurt/comfort for days. though once again do keep in mind that there are a couple of major spoilers in this.
silence is what i do best by notreally
the one where both Izuku and Katsuki were hit with a truth serum sort of quirk, and things aren't going all too well.
not just a truth-telling quirk, but a truth-compulsion quirk, to the extent that (spoiler alert) the quirk causes them physical pain and distress if they don't speak the truth. which, as you can imagine, leads to all sorts of extremely vulnerable conversations and a lot of good h/c.
close by not quite by blossomshed
When Bakugou goes after a beacon during a class-wide rescue op, he doesn't expect to find Deku - or to find himself dealing with the fallout of a gift he doesn't want, and a side of himself he'd never bothered to examine. He deals with it nonetheless.
this fic is so dear to me. it's yet another "Deku transfers OFA to Bakugou fic", but it's just so fucking good. and it also features a (very much confused) ace Bakugou, which is such a rare find. there are lines from this fic which I still think about constantly. it's funny and profound and adorable and so wonderfully IC, please go read it.
----------------------------------------
BONUS NON-ANGSTY FICS because I just felt like ending this list with some happy stories where Kacchan gets a lot of love:
----------------------------------------
give me compliments (i said give me compliments) by wonhaebunny
“It’s just cute,” Ashido is telling them as she walks into the classroom. “Like, when you compliment someone and they get flustered so easily, don’t you think it’s endearing?” Kaminari blinks. “Like Bakugou?” he asks slowly. - 1-a realises that katsuki is really, really bad at receiving compliments. exposure therapy ensues.
he is bad at accepting compliments. this is a very, very cute fic.
The Friendship Ladder by nikkiRA
Bakugou and Kirishima tell their classmates they're dating, but everyone seems more interested in who gets to claim the newly vacated spot of Bakugou’s best friend.
as the summary implies this is technically KRBK, but the focus here is very much class 1-A as a whole. there's just something about seeing the entirety of the class squabbling over their Kacchan love that tickles me to no end. Deku is also fantastic in this lmao.
The Yoshida Trail by WinterSwallow
Mitsuki Bakugo returns with her gift to the mountain.
last but not least we have this gorgeous character study with a criminally low view count. Mitsuki climbs Mt. Fuji with an eight-year-old Katsuki in tow, as the fic explores his childhood and young adulthood through a series of vignettes. the insights in this really have no business being as profound as they are, given that they're voiced from the perspective of one of the most graceless characters in the series as she observes her equally graceless son through all the ups and downs and tumbles of his life. but somehow that just makes the whole thing even better. idk I just really love this a lot.
---
anyway that's it for now. hope at least a few of these are enjoyable. thanks for the ask!

"Careful, He Bites." (Yandere!Kamisato Ayato/Reader)
A/n: Here ya go @busy-dadzawa-fish! I mean, this fic is technically a cat!ayato but, e h e. I hesitated on posting this tbh. Soldier, Poet, King seemed so light-hearted and nearly wholesome (especially Childe's POV), so I wanted to write a yandere story that had more of the Yan elements and not the Dere. (I also added a few details to make everyone miserable cause I need the s p i c e.) If you want a fluffy cat story please send another request! I'd be happy to do it! I promised I won't write some messed-up stuff lmao (I swear I'm not sadistic).
Unreliable synopsis: Cat ayato. But heavily based on nekomata myths and I've taken some major liberties after reading yokai.com over and over again--.
Cw: Yandere! Ayato. Signs of abuse. (Technically) Cannibalism. Japanese folklore in a modern setting. I doubt my writing is graphic and disturbing enough but if you find these topics sensitive please don't read the fic. Your mental health matters more, you matter more than some fic, kay? Please reach out if you are a victim of abuse.
Extra:
Itto's Side Story (happens before this fic)
---------
Tumblr media
It's raining, and it's cold tonight.
The white cat's ears drooped. It wasn't fond of the rain. The rain often smeared the paws of its feet like spilled cyan ink. It didn't like how the mud sticks to its fur. The sound of raindrops wasn't all that pleasant for its ears either, especially when the place made it sound too loud for comfort.
Traveler...
The cat spoke in purrs. Not long ago, it broke free of its cage to pursue its beloved human. The human traveled a lot, but she was unable to take the cat with her. Unlike her, the cat cannot escape from its stifling responsibilities. It may provide the best services a domesticated cat could offer, but its heart ached for more. "A day in the life of a traveler" interested the cat, who wanted to know what it meant. The cat wished to know what "a day in the life of a traveler" meant. Her spirit was as free as the petals that travel into the wind, and the cat wanted to be blown away towards the path she threaded.
However, as expected, it only led the cat to an uncomfortable position. There is no shelter to be had in these half-abandoned urban streets. Barely any establishments considered adding covers above their sidewalks, instead, the only shade it could crawl under would be underneath the air conditioners.
It whined quietly.
The only place which had a roof was the flower shop.
And it's the one place where it was told not to go to.
The "Sakura Bloom Flower Shop" stands out in its vibrant green and pink paint in contrast to the shallow and dilapidated stores around it. Not only does it outperform the competition in terms of appeal, but the floral scent also drowned out the smell of damp cement and trampled dirt. These two sensory factors were more persuasive than a sign or an advertisement, and the cat longed to enter. Depending on one's mood, this proud store amongst the rundown town could either bring hope or annoyance.
It heard a chime and looked up to see someone smiling.
... The cat seems to know you.
"Pssst, pssst. Come inside, little one." You called out with the door open. Raindrops began to move in splotches towards the store's entrance. You continued speaking under the assumption that it could understand you. "It's cold outside, is it not? Come, take shelter from the rain for the time being. Inside is warm, and I would not offer this if it were otherwise colder."
The feline arched its head. Your accent was quite a surprise to hear, especially in this area, and you pronounce words distinctly familiar to the Kansai dialect. Perhaps you were a village human who moved into the city-- judging how you managed the flower shop, it's easy to assume you worked the land as well.
... It wouldn't hurt to enter, right?
The cat reluctantly stepped inside.
You were an honest human. Your store was as warm as you made it out to be. It looked around and noticed a red beckoning cat figurine sitting on your counter instead of the usual gold one. Why would you bring a red maneki-neko to a store when gold figurines are typically considered charms for prosperous business?
"H-Here."
You gently placed a towel beside the cat. It stared, wondering why you wouldn't help the animal dry off and only observed it from afar.
Even so, it appreciates your generosity. When it was smaller, humans refused to offer assistance to the cat since they believed white-furred cats harnessed the moon's spiritual energy for malicious intent. Humans are foolish most times, and perhaps it's biased to say you're not as bad--
The cat sneezed.
It was ashamed. Just right after you let it inside your cozy place, its body immediately did something involuntarily humiliating. It hoped that you wouldn't mind.
Instead, you covered your nose, mildly petrified.
The cat shrank back.
Oh no. Please don't kick it out.
Did it just mess everything up?
It closed its eyes before you pulled something out of your bag.
The store bell rang once more.
"There you are, Himegimi."
A light-haired man entered the establishment. He shook and cast his soaked umbrella aside. You immediately recognized him upon first glance and gave him a shy wave, which he vaguely reciprocated. His eyes preyed on the cat that eased itself into the corner.
His smile did not reach his eyes.
"I've been looking everywhere for you, and this is where you chose to stay? After I told you to stay put?"
"G-Good evening, Ayato." You sniffed.
Like a mother dragging her kittens along, Kamisato Ayato scooped up the cat by the nape of its neck. You raised an eyebrow. You may be allergic, but you spent enough of your free time watching cat videos to know that that probably isn't the safest way to pick up a feline.
The cat went limp.
There is an array of things you didn't know about the "man" and his "pet" before you, and Ayato would most prefer for that to remain unchanged. He adores your naivety, and he will use it to his full advantage.
Nothing good will occur if you noticed the two anomalies behind his back. What you don't know can't hurt you.
"Allow me to extend my sincerest apologies, (Y/n)." His hand was elevated higher, and his eyes peered deeply into the cat's conscience. The cat dodged Ayato's cold glare as its small paws quivered a little.
The cat observed that you were carrying some tablets and tissue sheets after being raised higher. The cat was a little relieved because it had assumed you were bringing out a spray to scare it away before. Its anxieties didn't make sense. No kind human would shun a cat for sneezing.
"I didn't know my cat entered your establishment."
"T-This is your cat? A-Ah don't worry about it, Ayato." You laughed while dabbing a tissue on your runny nose. "The c-cah-cat isn't shedding, a-anyways. Your cat is well behaved, it's most definitely alright."
"Oh no, I'll be sure she'll be on her best behavior from now on."
The small cat's eyes widened as it peered up at what was above your counter. A kagura bell wand was neatly tucked inside a wooden box. Based on how it was carelessly positioned on a table, you probably did not know about the catalyst's importance. You weren't aware it was a catalyst in the first place.
Ayato hadn't noticed the bell yet and cooed. "This is no good. You're already having an allergic reaction."
You smiled softly back at the cat as if its presence was no danger to your wellbeing.
You're allergic to cats? And you still let it inside?
Ayato pinched his nose and sighed. Someday, your indiscriminate kindness might kill you. "Seriously, (Y/N), I appreciate what you've done for this Himegimi but you ought to stop taking care of whatever poor animal you see. You didn't exactly win the genetic, err, bingo."
The cat, 'Himegimi', opened her mouth. Oh. That must be the reason why you had a red beckoning cat figurine instead. Prayers for good health matter more than gold.
"I took some antihistamines before I let it in, worry not." You folded the napkin nicely and threw it in the nearby trash can. Nobody commented on the large number of tissues hidden beneath the empty potato chip bag.
"In fact, I... feel rather drowsy at the moment because of it. Her name is Himegimi, right? Sorry, I must've mistaken that your cat was a boy. You spoke of it like it was handsome and elegant. I've forgotten that those words can complement a little princess."
Ayato smiled and his cheeks flared up.
Handsome and Elegant.
"I have two cats... 'Yashiro' is my other cat. Is he not handsome?"
You chuckled and joked. "I cannot say. I've never met him."
Well, he's standing right in front of you.
"–I was not remotely aware you own two pets. You only ever talk about Yashi so quite the favoritism you have here. No wonder she ran away from home. Had my clan not been burdened with this illness I would've taken her in." You continued half-jokingly while averting your eyes. For someone who owns not one but two cats, you questioned how great of an owner Ayato is when he grabbed Himegimi by the nape moments ago.
Especially when Himegimi entered the store, limping.
He brought the cat closer to his face. Ayato nearly forgot "Himegimi" is hanging by his fingers.
Ayato deadpanned. "I'm actually a dog person."
"Sure. Cause you definitely smell like a dog person." You laughed again. Ayato grinned. He could never get enough of hearing that.
Ayato suddenly frowned.
"But truly, (Y/n), I'm worried at how easily you animals and people things in. You know what happened to Kokomi."
"I'll be fine."
"You don't know that--"
"As I said," you rubbed the back of his unoccupied palm. "I'll be fine. You worry too much, Ayato."
It's a shame that these affectionate gestures are an expensive luxury. Every time you and Ayato shared a room you are required to take an allergy shot to ease some rashes since he's a self-proclaimed cat lover and he can't remove fur from his clothes no matter how hard he washes them. It's almost like he produces cat allergens himself. You teased about it before but he only gazed at you with glossy eyes.
Ayato's breath hitched. Your hands. He never would've imagined it would be this warm. His face was heavy and overwhelmed, it was on the verge of melting away at any second. Your touch was incredibly delicate.
He wants to scratch and rip it to pieces–
Your gentle voice snapped him out of his trance. "If anything, I'm a bit embarrassed I cannot offer you anything for dinner. What I cooked tonight isn't the most palatable..."
Ayato hurriedly gulped and hoped that you haven't noticed that his human palms were sweating. He wished you wouldn't see past his platonic concern and notice his attraction towards you.
He looked up, tense. "Your signature too-salty ramen?"
You nodded bitterly.
Ayato slightly shrugged while he abruptly pulled his hand away. "I hate to brag but I'm a worse cook than you are."
The cat tilted her chin up and stared blankly at him. If he knew about his skills then he should stop forcing her and Thoma to play hotpot.
"You sounded just like Itto." You shook your head.
The cat blinked.
Itto?
You sighed. "I suppose I'll act like Sara and insist that we should strive to be better at cooking instead."
"I doubt Ei and Miko were pleased to hear her lectures. Act like her and I'll be the same as them. You're better off being yourself. I like you for who you are." Ayato answered the last part earnestly, making you flustered over his shift in tone.
The cat's interest peaked. You naturally encountered a hinnagami, a kitsune, a tengu, and an oni? At this rate, you're most likely an onmyouji or at least someone who has the potential to become one. Onmyoujis can conjure divinations, therefore their fates are intertwined with the supernatural. No ordinary human would encounter yokai as though it's an everyday occurrence. Do you own a kagura bell wand for that reason?
Ayato noticed the cat staring at the table and their train of thought became one and the same. He grimaced.
"Why do you have that?"
Given that it is allegedly unusual for a florist to obtain a wand, the more reasonable queries would have been "where" or "how" did you get that, but Ayato panicked. Fortunately, you didn't seem to mind his somewhat insensitive question.
"Ah, this?" You unceremoniously picked up the bell. The bells chimed a melancholic tone as you shook them lightly.
The two flinched at the sound. The cat squeaked in pain before Ayato covered its mouth.
"Yae gave it to me. She said it would help me dispel wraiths and unwanted yokai. I don't know where she gets such unfounded ideas, but I suppose her eccentric nature is part of her charm."
His elegant demeanor shattered. Ayato's hand slammed down the table while his knees bent back.
"T-That damn fox...!" Ayato's husky and frail voice spat at the bell in your hand.
Whoever gave that to you knows what they were doing. No ordinary human can use the bell as a catalyst. What on earth is that shrine maiden trying to accomplish?! He had suspicions that you're an onmyouji diviner and this confirmed it.
The best and worst part is that you still haven't noticed it yet.
You hummed. "Sorry, did you say something?"
"P-Put that down first."
You flinched and did as commanded. "A-are you alright, Ayato? You sound ill."
Ayato whimpered and bit down his lip. Just hearing the bell drained him a month's worth of energy. Ayato needs to be fed. He paused and pondered over how he should react until he felt the cat yanking his shoulder.
Right, the "cats".
He grabbed the cat once more and gently patted her head.
"I-I'm sorry, (Y/n). I have to go. I forgot the cats haven't eaten dinner yet."
You pouted. "You look under the weather, my friend. Why don't you stay here a little wh--"
"I'm hungry."
He gritted his teeth and offered another cheap smile. It hurts for him to say it, but he needs to decline your offer.
"I'm very hungry."
Your will to look after him deterred. Your too-salty ramen isn't the best way to sate his and his cats' hunger, albeit it would probably give them health complications. Unbeknownst to you, that isn't what Ayato was worried about. You chuckled nervously.
"Understood." You opened the door and helped him carry his umbrella.
"Enjoy your dinner!"
Ayato grinned. "Y-You too!"
You're so sweet. You didn't need to say it. He will. And he's growing impatient.
Especially when the cat dragged in quite a generously sizeable meal.
--------------
It's raining outside.
Shikanoin Heizou hated the rain.
Everything that happened in his life that was incredibly unlucky did so while it rained. When he said goodbye to his business partner Sango, it started to rain. When his companion admitted to being a phony, it started to rain.
And as his main suspect bashed him in the head from behind, it started to rain.
But it didn't rain when he first woke up inside a cramped cage. Perhaps the blow was harder than he thought because Heizou mistook the sounds he heard for drizzles. Reality was far crueler, however.
What woke him up was the echoing blood that dropped from hanged dissevered limbs.
Uncharacteristically, aspiring Detective Heizou did not jump for clues, instead, his attention was locked on the petrified girl beside him. He nearly failed to identify her.
So much had been deprived. Her commercial mermaid appearance aged to reflect a traditional deep sea siren, with gills and scales ripped apart. There was no vitality left in Sangonomiya Kokomi. His mind was plagued by the sight of her emaciated cheeks and fish-like eyes. Now, she looked like the shell of her former self.
Kokomi was trapped in this eerie basement before Heizou arrived. She was exceedingly popular, especially among varsity men who applaud her sports tactics. Her connections don't matter anymore. Nobody will come. The sharp, burning sensation where her leg used to be is a painful reminder of that. Only false hope and confidence held her bones together.
At least when Heizou gazed away, the strong fragrance of wisteria drowned her amputated leg's foul odor. Your flowers smelled better than oxygenated blood. Heizou is unsure of whether he should consider that luck. He won't focus his senses with more forebodings of death. When Heizou saw a blue eyeball roll to the other side of the room after the corpse failed to keep it intact, he knew Kokomi didn't come without a friend.
It doesn't take a genius to piece out that the half-eaten limbs dripping down the table were Gorou's. He simply didn't dare to ask about the victim and culprit. And even if he did, he doubt Kokomi would give him an answer the great detective didn't already know.
They both sat motionless. They had no idea that their final moments would be spent together confined in a small dog cage. Gingerly, his stick fingers ran through her scalp while she rested on his shoulder. Kokomi's blood trickled down his pants, but he pretended not to feel it.  The dying girl felt relief under his tender touch. They had no sense of time, yet they still awaited this hard day's end. And Kokomi, hoarse and frail as her voice already is, spoke of the future brightly.
"This is not so bad..." Kokomi leaned her weight more on Heizou's arm. Her breathing is slow and far from deep, and her forceful grip on Heizou's arm grazed like a feather's. "Take heart... With (Y/n)'s flowers... We'll have a peaceful..." It pained for her to speak, so Heizou didn't let her finish.
Even in such a moment of despair, Kokomi still thought of her best friend with great endearment.
You have great friends.
You had great friends.
Bile rose to his throat. He lacked the courage to counter that his intuition screamed otherwise. Heizou, a criminal justice student, hoped he could strangle her to give her the sweet release of death. But to his anguish and relief, there was no need to taint his hands, and blood loss caught up to her like a broken hourglass.
Miss Sangonomiya Kokomi was gone. The future she predicted never came. And surely, her family would grieve for their daughter and her varsity team will miss their manager.
".... Man alive." He uttered his catchphrase. It was painfully ironic.
Heizou cradled her corpse for hours, denying the facts for his sanity. She was cold and damp. The stains in his pants reached oxidation until she also stopped bleeding out. The cage had never felt smaller and claustrophobic.
He waited for something to kill him. He waited for his turn.
And then he heard screaming from upstairs.
"I don't have to explain every little thing, Ayaka! You're old enough to know that you should just listen-- If you would JUST listen!"
Heizou chuckled lifelessly. The voice belonged to Kamisato Ayato. Who else would it be?
It's regrettable that Heizou stepped right into his trap rather than catching his suspect. Heizou had suspicions about the individual because he had no presence in public records or social media, yet Kamisato Ayato appeared right at home within the campus' crowd. Heizou's intuition never lied.
But he didn't expect that his target was a yokai.
Heizou had a gut feeling, yet he willfully ignored it. The urge to devour human meat does not come naturally from sane people, but the same cannot be said for the supernatural. He initially thought you were responsible for the disappearances. The majority of the victims, including Gorou and Kokomi, who went missing were from your friend circle. But you were allergic to cats, Heizou saw your reactions first hand, and the pieces of evidence were usually embedded with--
The door to the basement opened.
Ayato emerged from the shadows and dropped a white-haired cat without consideration. His volume was lower as he spoke. "Fine. If I must spell everything out for you, I will."
Cat hair.
Heizou curiously watched the cat-- the bakeneko-- shudder in fear as her brother untactfully dragged something heavy across the floor. Ayato didn't seem to notice that Heizou was awake or that Kokomi had died. He didn't even care about the half-eaten Gorou sloppily decaying on his table. His human fingers were far more occupied wrapping around another deceased woman's high ponytail.
The victim had blue-gray eyes underneath her light blue bangs. Heizou had never seen that woman on campus or in the basement before. The woman appeared to be younger than them-- likely a senior high school girl. Her girlish red ribbons gave it away. Her appearance is uncannily similar to Ayato's. One thing to note was that nekomatas can take the appearance of their former masters. And Heizou had a bad feeling that Ayato stole her brother's identity.
"Right after you eat."
He threw the corpse in front of the cat.
The cat, Himegimi or more truthfully "Kamisato Ayaka", breathed in sharply.
This was the second time her brother offered a woman's corpse. It wasn't as if bakenekos and nekomatas are unable to digest what regular cats eat. Her brother invites her to partake in human flesh, if only so that she will be able to shape-shift into one more easily. Ayaka is not particularly talented in transfiguration, it would take years to master without the proper diet. And this was the solution her brother offered.
Human corpses.
"Don't worry, she was already dead when I found her."
Heizou and Ayaka didn't question him. The corpse was littered with month-old scars, and in the dark, their skin appeared discolored. Heizou assumed the woman had drowned, and Ayato had gone to retrieve her shortly after she died.
That was a scene Ayato liked. He grinned broadly when he observed the woman fumbling about in the hope that the boy on the bridge would reach for her hand. But honestly, was he ever obliged to set free what is essentially a great opportunity?
Based on her body's bruises, the deceased must've handled her brother's disappearance poorly. It must've been incredibly painful for her to see her missing brother in her final moments.
If Ayaka could just master taking this woman's form, then they could abandon their yokai lives. They could live their lives as human siblings, and no one would bat an eye. If she could just do what she was been told, then Ayato would've had you in his arms.
The two yokai jolted as they heard Heizou banging inside his small cage.
"YOU BASTARD!!!"
Heizou screamed, raspy and full of hatred. It was all he can do. However, his emotions were foreign to them, and they did not reach yokai. The nekomata laughed.
"Ah, so you're finally awake. How marvelous. A pleasant evening to you, Detective Heizou." He replied sardonically. "Hah. From detective... to victim."
Heizou bit his tongue and let his anger simmer. There is nothing he can rebut with when the truth hurts more. Shikanoin Heizou ceased speaking for the remainder of the evening, for now.
Ayato caught a glimpse at the body beside him. "Hmm. It appears that she's already spoiled. Pity. I would've saved this woman from drowning if you just ate Miss Sangonomiya, my dearest sister. Wasting food... I'm almost sure that human mothers give punishment for that."
Ayaka gulped as she relives the pain of kneeling on salt in her most excruciating memories.
A bakeneko living with her nekomata sibling is torture.
He is doing this out of love. He would not be infuriated if that wasn't the case. This was the norm of their family's culture. Kamisato Ayato would not let two innocent women die if he didn't love his stupid, weak, little bakeneko sister.
He hissed. He did not like the pathetic look on her face.
Kamisato Ayato was normally not akin to a savage beast. He believes that he and his sister must carry themselves with elegance at all times, even when their actions are deemed immoral. When partaking in human flesh, he cuts and boils them into a nice pot with his handpicked eccentric seasonings. He refuses to eat until his friend Thoma had tenderized their meat and had their bones discarded. But he had grown hungry and impatient.
After you carelessly chimed the kagura bells, Kamisato Ayato had grown more restless.
Everything that went down tonight is your fault.
"Did you not wish to walk at her pace? Did you not long to run and bury your head on top of that dandelion human's shoulder? Did you not wish to travel alongside her?"
She is aware that her brother is distorting events to make it appear as though she was the one who yearned to be a human. Because the love of his life, you, cannot survive around animals like her, Ayato took the whole truth and poured some out. She is a liability as a bakeneko, after all, and yet...
Ayaka sobbed. She sobbed because she knew the answers to these questions. She sobbed because she knew the lengths she would go through for her favorite human as well.
And she was repulsed by the whole truth.
Ayato violently grabbed his sister's face. Her snot ran down his palm whilst he pinched her mouth open.
Ayaka resigned to her fate.
"You want to see Lumine again, don't you?"
... Yes.
"Then eat."
And she took a bite.
It's a major shame, truly, that Kamisato Ayaka never found out that the dandelion human was her brother's first meal.

I have decided to make a MHA, Izuku Midoriya centric, fanfiction 101 recommendations, list.
I am but a basic bitch of nerds, but I have opinions and I WILL share them bc I'm incapable of shutting the fuck up.
Anyway this is a list of fic I think any person who reads fanfiction, is a BNHA fan and likes Izuku Midoriya, should read.
(is it actually an excuse to find ppl who like the same shit i do? Maybe.)
So, this list will contain fics that are completed ONLY.
There are a lot of MHA staples that aren't finished yet, and they will get a post of their own.
🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩
Alright disclaimers, PSA, whatever, ALWAYS and I fuckin mean ALWAYS, read the tags and trigger warnings bc I won't lie, some might get a bit dark.
🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩
1. Complicated Creation - Elemental
Easily one of the best fics I've ever read. Great world building based on the Ghibli movie Spirited away. We love to see it. The writing and plot are both breath-taking.
It has quirkless Izuku, spirits, dragons, healing and a sprinkle of a classic trope in the MHA fandom, Dadzawa.
2. Hero Class Civil Warfare - RogueDruid
If you have been in the fandom space for at least a couple of months and have been reading fics, you have, 100% heard of RogueDruid. He has, hands down, some of the most captivating work in the whole of the internet. One of the classics, is HCCW. It has inspired a lot of other fics, which had gone the class War route (hmu if u want reccs). Incredibly well done, the EFFORT that went into this had to be astounding. There isn't a single miss.
Without spoiling too much, the class 1 A and 1 B, have a final exam. The exam in this world, is a war between villain and heros. Izuku is put into the position of the leader of the villains, the Kingpin while his rival, the Paragon, is none other than Katsuki Bakugou. We get a mastermind Izuku, characters from 1 B, that I personally never cared much for, before reading this fic and more.
3. Mastermind: Strategist for Hire by Clouds
Staying in the villain Izuku waters, I present Mastermind. A part of a series called For the want of a nail, that follows different universes in which Izuku stays quirkless. Mastermind is a personal favourite. It's the second installment of the series and has an ongoing sequel. (The series includes Viridian: the green guide, Deku? I think he's some pro, Chet Code: support strategist and two more, which aren't completed yet).
Here, Izuku stays quirkless as he loses any hope left for the hero society. He, unfortunately for the world, is stupidly smart and easily gained a fearsome reputation, for being the best strategist for hire for villains. After realizing the world sucks and he, in fact, doesn't, Izuku becomes a villain the likes héroes have never seen before.
4. The Mystery of Student No.18 by cloud_nine_and_three_quarters
Another author, that has me by the scruff of my goddamm neck. Went for my throat every fuckin time. I will name the other fics later but lemme tell you about this one.
It's the second fic in the list, that has Izuku with OFA. This time though, Izuku stayed true to his self-sacrificing roots and got himself into a coma. While in his lovely sleeping beauty-esk state, OFA keeps giving him energy and thus an once of a lifetime opportunity to become a ghost. Yes you heard that right. He becomes a ghost and lightly haunts his class. The fic is golden, funny and just a little bit sad.
The other three fics, just as good as this one are Canary, Why are we here again? and Displacement.
5. Yesterday upon the stair by PitvViperOfDoom
Keeping with the ghost theme, we have the one and only YUTS. Again, world building is of the charts great. A great quirk and awesome themes with unexpected turns and plots. The gist is, Izuku can see ghosts. This story is one of the rare ones where Nana Shimura (my beloved) plays a bigger role than usual. Definitely chdck out the additional parts of the series though at that point it goes slightly into more crack waters but it's still incredible.
6. [Content] by Teobot
Taking a sharp turn into morally grey vigilante route, we get this great first part of an incredible ongoing series. There are two parts done and the wait is always worth it.
7. Assignment: Personality Swap by BelleAmant
First I wanted to recc their vigilante Izuku fic (Vigil, Ante and their vigilante antics) but I must admit, while a classic, it hasn't been as impactful to the fandom as Personality Swap has been. Both with its incredible humor, bit of angst and quirk fuckery the whole series has been nothing but hits.
8. Another form of power by Jade_Tatsu
Veering directly back into villain Izuku, this one was a breath of fresh air. I once got tired of villain Izuku that was either forced to be a villain or was just a vigilante but darker, so I went on a search and found this. The series All for power, is a 4 part ENTIRELY COMPLETED series, about politician villain Izuku. The first part is told mostly through the eyes of Kurogiri and I swear, it's my favorite of the all.
9. How Seven (7) Dead Heroes Stopped Being Bored by ScottishSunshine
Crack inspired, but more All for one focused that Izuku, but still most things happen because of the Midoriya family so it counts. It's good and fun and an interesting read especially of you're fond of Dad for one.
10. Prodigal by writerllofllworlds
And for the end, let's get our hearts crushed just a little.
An angst filled suspected traitor AU. In my humble opinion, very few have ever truly succeeded in writing a traitor AU, nearly as good as this one. I like it in most part because Izuku goes through hell and back, and I just am like that. It's epic.
Was this list an exuse to talk about fics I like? Yes. But do i feel like everyone who like BNHA should read these?
Abso - fuckin-lutley
I consider it a crime if you don't. Also pls do add your own opinions and if you want more reccs, ask in the comments or dm me or whatever floats your boat Besties.
Kiki the nerd, signing off

•Mitsuki may seem like he's always strict with his son but in reality, she doesn't wanna lose you cause not only ur perfect for his son but you make Him happy and she likes seeing his own son happy she would always convince you secretly how Akatsuki has a soft spot about you and how he always talk about how he wanna protect you at all cost!
•Mitsuki Loves when you ask to spend the night here she'll be more than happy to let you spend the night here as much as you want as long as you as after all she loves seeing how you and her son would bond together
•Mitsuki would always encourage his son to try and ask you out and give him dating advice heck even Masaru would help as well but Katsuki is a bit too stubborn to admit he needs it Mistuki gives him tips about softening up his behavior and makes sure he's doing the right thing and not messing it up
•Mitsuki would always want to wear her upcoming Designer clothes and would take lots and lots of pictures and show it off to her friends saying how pretty you are in those outfits and pouts and katsuki pulls you away
•Mitsuki would dream of talking to her husband about how she'll design you and Katusuki a wedding gown/suit actually she already got it and showed it off to katsuki which he blushes and tells her to F off which earns him a smack in the back of the head
•Mitsuki Loves you like you're her own child and would encourage her sons yandere behavior and teach him how to hide it what kind of mother would she if she isn't helping her son to be happy?~

Note
I don't get the hate all might recieves from this fickle fandom while Aizawa gets praised over the moon.
Yes All might have told izuku to give up first but I don't see anything wrong now or even when I first watched season 1. The man has more experience and has already seen his fair share of cruelty over the years. He knows the difficulty of being a Hero with a quirk and even with all of that power, It took him losing his stomach to beat AFO. All might was being realistic here. He didn't want to be reckless & give false hope or encouragement here. Also he didn't laugh or outright tell him to quit. He told izuku who had no power to try other ways to become a Hero which was being a policeman.
2nd what did izuku do before meeting all might?. Absolutely nothing. On top of being quirkless He didn't have a strong physique to back it up. Sure he wrote analysis on quirks, heroes and villains but that's not gonna help in the longer run. All Might wouldn't know what Izuku would've gone through in life till this point. He doesn't know izuku was suicide baited. I'm not bashing Izuku but trying to see this from AM's side as well. Maybe he could've seen Izuku's behaviour to determine that the kid was abused but then again the man was also in a hurry and probably wasn't in the right frame of mind after displaying his long kept secret to a middle school kid.
Still All Might fckin apologized for his earlier comments and approved Izuku. He helped izuku get in shape, and gave his quirk. Encouraged him time and time again positively.
Wtf did Aizawa do? Ridiculed Midoriya infront of everyone. Never apologized. Never once supported him and always put izuku's abuser on a pedestal. Heck izuku should've been in top 10 in the apprehension test. He had better physical stats than Denki, Jiro, uraraka ( yeah she wasn't OP with her quirk during that time and had a lot of stamina issues), Koji, Mineta, Toru, Ashido to name some. Are we sure Aizawa didn't rig the exam?. Narrative protected that POS. Never once encouraged Izuku, never helped him when he was struggling with his quirk. Never even bothered to train his students in quirkless combat but went out of his way to tutor Shinso. His only good points are being a good hero and a good gaurdian for Eri but that ain't enough for getting this much praise. He knew Iida was going after Stain but didn't do anything.
All Might has flaws being a teacher but he at least tries his best to help Izuku with his problems and always been there for him. He encouraged his students every time. Trains them and has always been there for them unlike a certain someone.
All of All Might's good points outweigh Aizawa's by a higher margin.
End of my rant, i just see this as too unfair how fanfics bash All might for no fuckin reason while it coddles Aizawa. Especially the Dekuverse fics. Heck Hori himself treats All Might like shit in canon. The Izuku solo arc is a good proof.
All Might deserved better both in Canon and in Fanon.
Hi @bakutrash 👋,
I get it in the sense that the fandom follows suit of what the story itself is doing - AM gets critiqued more than Aizawa by the narrative (since Aizawa is Hori's favoured mouthpiece) and the fandom follows suit.
Dadzawa as a trope is also largely wish fulfilment. The wish to see 1A as a family and the wish to see Aizawa as the 'stern mentor/ father figure with a heart of gold' archetype. When Aizawa is not this - especially not to Izuku.
If anything All Might is Izuku's key mentor / father figure in the story. He made his mistakes in regard to Izuku but made up for them and apologised. AM also does his best to learn how to be a teacher and be supportive to Izuku and take care of him. Aizawa never does and Hori parades all of his actions as logical so the fandom (at large) doesn't critique him for them.
All Might is traumatised but Hori rarely focuses on it (unlike Aizawa's trauma), so it gives him less sympathy and exploration from it by the fans.
All Might fought a battle only his power in OFA could win. It was quirkless Izuku acting to save Bakugou that made All Might aware that Izuku had potential and that he shouldn't have been so hasty to judge him. All Might also didn't know Izuku took to analysis and suggested alternatives to heroics he felt more suited to a quirkless person.
Adding to this, All Might also began Quirkless himself so it's unlikely he would actually hold extreme Quirkist views like I've seen in some bashing fics (actually looking at Canon Aizawa displays more quirkest attitudes than All Might*.)
Yet the majority of the fandom focuses on All Might's intial refusal of Izuku's dreams and scapegoat him for Izuku's lack of self worth. - The narrative does this too, disgustingly through Bakugou's mouth, not acknowledging once that Bakugou and poor Teachers to Izuku (like Aizawa) are the cause of it.
Did Aizawa rig the exam? I think (and a lot of others critical of Aizawa) think he did. As you rightly pointed out Izuku should have been higher in the quirk apprehension test than he did (especially since he trained religiously and followed a training plan made by the Number One hero for months!)
Unironically, Aizawa at the beginning of the story seemed to dislike Midoriya, and consistently he has favoured Bakugou over him (more on this point later.)
He also viewed Bakugou's bullying as a "rivalry."
Why is this?
Other than the actual reason - Aizawa is Hori's Mouthpiece and therefore have him be Bkg's biggest simp to try to make us like him - there are two options.
1) Aizawa is either not as observant as he thinks he is (supported by him falling asleep all the time - so obviously by doing this he would miss things.) 2) OR Aizawa is malicious and thinks Midoriya needs to toughen up and deal with his bully like he did.
Neither of these options make Aizawa look particularly good. But 1) has room for growth and 2) does not.
Where is the logic in the Quirk Apprehension test? It favours those quirks that Aizawa claims he dislikes that the entrance exam favours - those flashy and combattive quirks such as the ones that belong to Bakugou, Todoroki and Yaoyorozo.
Additionally, singling out Izuku like that, on the first day would be realistically massively damaging to a student and to the classes morale overall.
Would you be comfortable with a 'third parent' (as these homeroom teachers are meant to be) or a teacher in general who does that to a classmate or to you the second they show they need some help? I wouldn't be...
Where is the logic in favouring Bakugou (who essentially a worse version of Aizawa's bully at U.A - Sensoji) or Shinsou who didn't work for his dream of Heroism and only attempted to skate in on his powerful quirk? These should both be characters that Aizawa (from what we are narratively told about him) dislike. Yet Hori does not allow this to occur as Aizawa is Hori's favoured mouthpiece and Hori wants him to have a mini me in Shinsou.
*- There appears to be a degree of quirkism ironically at play here. Bakugou is favoured because he is confident and has a quirk that is "perfect for heroics".
Whereas Shinsou is favoured because Aizawa sees someone like himself. The other students - Aizawa isn't shown to care all that much (aside from the additional to the story artworks.)
And as for Eri, Aizawa seems to care for her but honestly we don't see her nearly enough to judge whether he's actually a good guardian. There's also the fact of Aizawa seeming to struggle to take care of himself and how he treats his students so realistically, would he be a good guardian to her?
In universe, in spite of all logic, Aizawa has apparently been teaching as 'hardass ExpellZawa' for years without consequence - against himself or UA as an institution .
And Aizawa has never once reflected on the long term damage that all of his trauma response methods would do on all his students - not just the ones he expelled.
Hori never even had Aizawa question himself at any point - because the fact that he's Hori's mouthpiece means Aizawa is never meant to be wrong so he never believes himself to be. That stunts him as a character.
Even the revelation of Kurogiri as KurOboro didn't make him do this.
Aizawa, as he is in canon, is heavily traumatised, too set in his ways and too much of a mouthpiece for Hori. Hori also either doesn't see the point of or the interest in having Aizawa grow from his mistakes and heal from his trauma - which is a shame.
Whereas All Might, as he is in canon, is also heavily traumatised, has been crapped all over by Hori but is shown to do his best in learning and growing from his mistakes - both as a teacher and mentor to Izuku.
Final thoughts:
Sorry I responded with a rant of my own!
Personally, I find Dadzawa fine in a fic, as long as it has DadMight too OR has Aizawa make up for his mistakes to the class and grow as a mentor.
However, as time has gone on and I've got more into MHA, I find it really irritates me to see a fic bash All Might. Especially using Aizawa to do so, when in canon Aizawa has done much worse as a teacher - especially to Izuku and his past classes.
I stand by the opinion that although Canon!Aizawa may care for Class 1A as he currently acts - he should not be a homeroom teacher or have his trauma responses be praised as 'logical teaching.'

Aizawa's found family except there's way too many people
So stage 1 is Aizawa and Mic. They're in a QPR, Aizawa is aroace and Mic fucks around on the side but they're married and live together and had a wedding. They don't kiss tho cuz Aizawa doesn't like kissing AT ALL.
Stage 2 is Eri. She's legally Aizawa's daughter and she starts calling him Dad so Aizawa just goes with it. Alright this is my child now got it.
Mic is like... Her weird uncle. That's how she sees him anyways. She calls him Mic because that's what everyone calls him.
Then Midoriya and Togata are Eri's brothers. Like they just are. And god knows Aizawa has a soft spot for these dangerous sunshines of teenagers (literally where is the Dadzawa content for Togata. Aizawa comforted him when Sir Nighteye died please people SEE)
So Midoriya and Togata are like part time Aizawa's sons. Part time because Togata has a dad and Midoriya has his mom and All Might is already his father figure (not that he can't have two but All Might was here first).
Stage 3. Shinsou Hitoshi. Mic saw this child and felt in his bones that one year from now he would be finding him asleep in the cupboards. He just knew.
Shinsou has a bad home life so he hangs out at Aizawa's house a lot and eventually just gets a room there. Like he just does. The house is big Aizawa said, it's okay, while Mic is laughing his ass off and Shinsou is trying not to cry.
Eri IMMEDIATELY latches on Shinsou. Why? He's a cat. Simple.
By the way, they have seven cats. Yes seven.
They're named Takoyaki, Window, Blanket, Butter, Phoebe (short for Febreze), Yuki and Hizashi. Yes, Hizashi is loud.
They also acquire Sushi when Midnight dies (minus one on the number of family members, she was the wine aunt. Rest in peace legend)
So Shinsou. Thing is, Shinsou is polyamorous and somehow half of the world is in love with him (he doesn't understand). So Monoma, Kaminari, Bakugou and Ojirou are added to the family as son in laws of Aizawa. None of them are dating each other they're just dating Shinsou and cohabiting.
Stage 4 is The Entire Todoroki Family. Somehow. Well no, not all of them actually, Endeavor is out there doing whatever it is he does.
The first to get adopted into the found family is Shouto. Similar to Shinsou, he ends up hanging out at Aizawa and Mic's house, at first for Midoriya, Shinsou and Eri, then for Togata and Shinsou's boyfriends, the cats, and eventually he's just There. All the time.
Evidently, Fuyumi, Natsuo and Rei want to know about their tiniest family member's found family. They accidentally also get added to the family.
Dabi is the hardest to include, you know because of the murder. But rehab and all. Since Aizawa, Shouto and Rei are the ones most capable of stopping Dabi from going apeshit, he gets thrown there too. He gets a room as well. It's basically all of the Todorokis' room when they visit, to his absolute horror.
Aizawa considers Dabi to be his 9th cat. Mic considers Dabi to be his nephew. Shinsou and Eri unconsciously think of him as their brother (well, it's more conscious for Eri given she just straight up calls Dabi her older brother).
Then, stage 5, there's Kurogiri/Oboro. Renamed Kurokumo for simplicity's sake (legally his name is Shirakumo Oboro but y'know). Kurokumo goes back to being mostly Shirakumo, but Kurogiri is still kinda here and Kurokumo wants that to be acknowledged.
He's one of the few who officially live in the Aizawa-Yamada household (reminder, the ones who legally live here are Aizawa and Mic, Shinsou, Eri, Dabi and Kurokumo + the 8 cats. The others visit and sometimes sleep over).
Stage 6, surprisingly, is caused by Mic hooking up with everyone in Japan. Mic and Aizawa call each other their partner or their husband sometimes, but they're again, not involved romantically or sexually. Mic has a shitton of romantic and sexual partners, and the regular ones eventually get a boyfriend/girlfriend status and are somewhat added to the fam.
Mainly, Mic's partners are : Hawks (to Dabi's horror again and also to Aizawa's... Horror also), Ms. Joke (Aizawa hates his husband's taste) and Best Jeanist (because of course). I'll let you decide which are romantic which are sexual which are both.
(Tangent : Mic made a move on Kurokumo once, because they flirted a lot in high school and everyone assumed they would eventually date. Kurokumo shut him down after a bit because it felt too weird, as being Kurogiri kinda took away all his sexual attraction and he feels like Mic is Way Older Than Him even though they're technically the same age. Mic apologized and they had a long long long talk with Aizawa about how Kurokumo felt about them and himself and everything is okay now they're best friends)
The final stage happens after 1-A graduates : mainly, all the students really love their teachers and always check on them even after they stop seeing them basically everyday, leading to them being brought into the family partially.
So to sum it up : Aizawa and Mic, husbands and platonic partners, are the somewhat parents of Shinsou, Eri and Dabi, with added bonus of Dabi's siblings and mom, Shinsou's boyfriends, Eri's brothers, plus Mic's boyfriends + girlfriend, and Kurokumo co-parents. Somewhat. And they have 8 cats. And their old students visit them and bring them food and flowers.
Final count of family members for Aizawa : 17 + 14 + 8 = 40

You said that you have an AU for a LMK x BnHA crossover.
Could you tell me about it?
Absolutely!
So this AU takes place after S3.
MK’s thoughts after defeating the Lady Bone Demon aren’t very pretty. We see in canon that he’s hard on himself, and while coming down from the high of defeating such a terrifying villain such as LBD, all the trauma catches up to MK.
He begins having thoughts of ‘if only I’d been better, if only I’d been stronger, smarter, a better hero.’ He begins to think that maybe, he could’ve spared his loved ones so much trauma if only he’d been better, begins to think that they shouldn’t have had to suffer so much trauma in the first place all because of him.
Ever hear the saying “be careful what you wish for”? That’s the catalyst for this AU.
Working out this part but I hat I thought up for it was that a demon goes after an artifact that can grant any wish, a sort of genie’s lamp but it can only grant one wish instead of three.
The demon gets defeated and the artifact is in MK’s hands. They thought the wish had to be spoken aloud to work but here’s the catch - wishes don’t come true when spoken aloud. To quote Puss In Boots: The Last Wish, birthday wish rule.
MK’s thought of if only I could be a better hero activates the artifact, causing him to be sent to where he could be a better hero - the Boku no Hero Academiaverse, seeing as there’s hero schools.
I thought about MK being happened across either option A) Dadzawa, option B) Mama Joke, or C) Papa Tsukauchi. And yes, I did mean to call them those.
Aizawa is such a dad, adopting without the paperwork his class, even though he doesn’t admit it, and MK in the same class as 1A would be hilarious since I do have thoughts on who he’d be friends with. This AU DOES start before the BnHA events, since I don’t want to land MK right into the middle of the school year, especially since I feel certain events and behaviors could be thwarted with him there.
That said, even if I don’t go the Dadzawa route, I still planned for MK to have those relationships with 1A students since his presence would help I think with a lot of them. But MK and Shinsou and Eri being siblings would be just perfect in my book.
Ms. Joke, despite being a goofball, takes her job both as a pro hero and a teacher especially seriously. I feel like since she deeply values her students and believes in them that she’d be good in helping MK find confidence in himself as a hero. (That, and he’s got too many dads, let him collect moms!)
Detective Tsukauchi’s Quirk let’s him know if someone is lying. MK lies a lot regarding his own well-being, so having someone that’ll not let him get away with that would do him well. Plus, Tsukauchi is a friend of All Might’s, and I did have plans for MK and Midoriya having a friendship since they have a great deal of similarities and would be helpful towards one another.
That’s pretty much what I have for the AU though.

Hey! I've been reblogging some of your stuff and throwing my two cents in what I think. So I come here with a simple question...
What're your thoughts on Shota Aizawa?
Because for me, he's no different than the teachers in Aldera when it comes to handling Izuku. He's also a flatout hypocrite by getting onto All Might for favoring Izuku when he does the same with Hitoshi.
And I'm not even mentioning how he uses his trauma to justify his bs teaching ways
...Hahahahaha! So, you have no way of knowing this, but I've basically been preparing for this moment, to make this rant, for the longest time. More than probably any other character in this series, I've thought about Aizawa, tried to put into words what bugged me about him, scoured the internet for opinions to broaden my understanding, to find the right words. Quite a few posts have been yours, actually.
The short answer is that, simply, I hate him. Once I got past his Kakashi Aura from my first impression, I didn't like him, but fandom hype for Dadzawa, as well as the fact that usually comes with horrifying levels of bashing for people like All Might (ironically, perhaps the most unsung hero in the setting, seeing how few people seem to like his character) curdled it deep into loathing. Still, I'm going to be try to be objective as I talk.
The long answer is more complicated, and very, very long, but still overwhelmingly negative. For me, part of it is that Aizawa is easily the winner of the title of being The Favored Mouthpiece. This is a mixed blessing for him, to say the least; on the positive side, this fact has done a lot for his positive reception and total screen time, the the narrative bends over backwards to agree with what he says, time and time again. On the negative... for all that I'm aware that he's just lines on paper, on deeply visceral level I have sympathetic disgust for all the times he's been used like a puppet to parrot one agenda or another, and it muddles the water on who his character actually is. Honestly, it's been going on for so long, and it's still going on, I wonder if I should just... accept these random outbursts as part of his actual characterization.
At a fundamental level, I've had this question burning inside of me for a long time now: does this man even want to be a teacher? No, this is a serious question: he is effectively working two jobs, and managing it terribly (unlike every other UA teacher, who are all heroes for no apparent reason, and especially Present Mic who somehow has three jobs and still is full of energy. Does that man ever sleep?). He seems to hate the daylight. He seems to hate being clean. He seems to hate children. He hates, if not teaching, then teaching people that don't vibe on his level. He hates being on a schedule. He hates following authority. Really the only part of being teacher he does probably like is the actual paycheck.
So, again, why is he a teacher? I know he likes taking someone under his wing, but that use of a singular pronoun was very specific: he wants one person, one that fills whatever bizarre and unknown criteria, to teach (I'm still not sure what made him look at about five minutes of Shinso and say, 'This, this is the child I shall give all my skills, all my knowledge, and even my physics defying combat weapon.' Like, do they have to be his mini-me? Bear the soul of Grumpy Cat? I really don't know), an apprentice, not students plural. From what I gleaned from the Vigilante manga (which I should probably reread at some point), it's that desire, but misunderstood, combined with nostalgia, loneliness (his friends were already at UA) and peer pressure, that motivated him to start teaching at UA.
I don't really need to say it, but those are terrible reasons to become a teacher, and probably help explain why he's so bad at it.
Before I get into that, I want to address one thing: I've seen, online, that Aizawa's role as homeroom teacher is something completely different in Japan than it is for anywhere English speaking. So these various comments and what not say is, in Japan, these home room teachers aren't actually supposed to teach. They're supposed to be... something like councilors, I believe: they stay with the children and help guide them, and so on, and that's why he's a better teacher than we think he is. I've never actually seen anyone counter that argument, just agree, and I've had this response waiting for a long time now: when do you see Aizawa do that?
I know the Final Exam arc is supposed to show us that, yes, Aizawa is perceptive and does notice things about his students, and does care, but that's shit. His inner monologue tells us about Momo and her lack of self confidence. The implication of that, that he's only dealing with this now, means he's been sitting on this for... how long? However long he noticed that, I guess? So, from a time period ranging between the first day of class, and just before they prepared for the test, Aizawa noticed Momo had confidence issues and apparently did nothing until that test, probably because he wanted to be 'efficient' and deal with two things at once. Why do extra work and deal with a student's issues, when you can do it while they struggle to pass their final exams? Wow. A+ job there, teach.
On Shoto... just... just no. Come back to me, someone, anyone, when Aizawa even acknowledges that that mess is made out of red flags: the fact he doesn't use half of his goddamn Quirk until Izuku beats some self reflection into him. The fact he unsubtly hates his father. The fact he doesn't seem to know how to be a normal person. The burn scar on his face when he's heat resistant. Anything. Anything. I don't expect him to look at the kid and magically realized he's abused, but there's enough there that if he's a good teacher, or councilor, or whatever, he should probably be low key probing for information on his situation, see if there's something wrong in the most general of senses, because there's clearly something wrong there.
Literally anything about Izuku or Bakugou, though I'm putting a pin on discussing that mess until later.
See, the problem with saying that Aizawa is supposed to be the class's... councilor or something, instead of a teacher, brings up the fact that he's a shit councilor. Even if it's true (I'm not Japanese, I have no idea), this doesn't make his character better, this just brings up different problems instead.
Alright, so now that that's out of the way... now I need to point out that Aizawa is a Kakashi clone, and that's a good deal of the reason he's so popular; he rode off Naruto nostalgia. Let's list off how many traits he blatantly got from him. It's more than you think!
Aizawa is like Kakashi in that: he's a teacher that doesn't want to teach, his students include the Great Hope of the setting and his 'rival', he's traumatized from a friend dying when he was young, he deals with his heavy PTSD with unhealthy coping mechanisms, he has an eye based power that turns his eyes red, he loses an eye, he takes on an apprentice that reminds him of himself and gives him his signature technique/equipment, his dead best friend is alive, his dead best friend is the enemy, his dead best friend has been heavily experimented on, his dead best friend has warping powers, his friend group consists of people more cheerful than him who respect his skills, his best friend is overwhelmingly cheery in a way that balances with his low key behavior.
...When you list it out like this, it starts to get a little nuts, doesn't it? I wonder, sometimes, how much actual thought went into the character Eraserhead, and how much was Hori just... copying the copy ninja.
Here's the problem with that though, beyond the laziness of it all: Kakashi is a ninja. He is a mercenary, a child soldier, has killed more people than we have names for in all of MHA. He lives in a military village, under a military dictatorship, and is expected to kill. The teaching system he's part of is largely involuntary, though he avoids in in part because he's so good that everyone looks the other way when he ducks out of it. These students are also ten. There is just... just so much there, so much that is utterly alien to how MHA works, that putting a copy in is... flawed, to say the least.
That's why the Bell Test Quirk Apprehension Test is so bad: Hori put that in, as a blatant echo of Kakashi testing Team Seven, without thinking once of the differences in the setting.
He's in a school, and his job is being a teacher. His literal, actual ass job is to teach students (or 'help guide them', either way). This is something he chose to do, of his own volition. Kakashi trying to ditch his potential students is him trying to avoid an unwanted burden and him avoiding poking at this massive issues with teammates and responsible and everyone he knows and loves dying around him. And when he's forced to take some on? He tries his best to teach them, and he does: think about the first Battle of the End. The way Naruto and Sasuke fought each other. Think about how Naruto used to fight. Where did he learn to throw a punch like that? Kakashi. He may show up late, but the man did his work off screen.
Aizawa trying not to teach his students is literally a man too fucking lazy to do his own job. We all know Hori retconned it with 'he just wanted them to get a taste of death' via expulsion (which, apparently in Japanese culture is something that would set them back in their prospects for life) but it's so nonsensical that it's hard to take it seriously that he just... does this. Was planning to do this the first day, because they were excited about being heros, like that deserved a taste of death (They aren't in the military, you ass, they're in high school). Is allowed to do this. That he did this to an entire class for some reason but not Bakugou, when Bakugou exists.
Which means it's time to wade into the mess that is Aizawa and Izuku and Bakugou. Let's start with Bakugou, first, since I already started.
Blatantly, obviously, Bakugou has plot armor in how people react to him, or don't, as the case may be, and one of the worst victims of it is Eraserhead. The fact that Mr. 'Taste of death' and 'Expels entire classes' doesn't at least punt Bakugou into detention, or more likely a 'taste of death' to threaten the other students (because that's how you teach your class of high schoolers! By fear!), after he actively attacks Izuku, is just... mind boggling. The way he constantly refuses to acknowledge which of them is the aggressor, which of them is the first to throw a punch, which one is constantly threatening the other....
The obvious conclusion here is that Aizawa likes Bakugou, for whatever reason, but... I don't think it's true. The thing is if he liked Bakugou, you'd think he'd... spend time with him. Try and train him. Something. But no, by and by large he acts like Bakugou doesn't exist, right until Hori needs someone to compliment him for the readers, or someone to defend him after he does something bad, yet again, and then all of a sudden he's singing his praises. This is where the downsides of being The Favored Mouthpiece comes in: every time he's complimented Bakugou, every time he's said that this mess of a child is going to be a great hero, every time he cries desperately that he, 'Still needs to be Number One!' or whatever the hell that bullshit was? That was Hori. That was always Hori. Aizawa basically isn't allowed to exist near Bakugou without Hori running interference for him.
Izuku, on the other hand, is half the opposite, half Aizawa's own biases coming in. Part of it is Hori needs Izuku to feel stressed to pump up the tension, make cliffhangers, and get Jump selling; Izuku can't have a normal school life, he needs a heart pounding one. In most shonen school settings, this is easy to accomplish because they're generally hell holes that put their students in life and death situations on the regular, and live in hierarchies based off power levels. UA, though? It's a normal, or at least "normal" school, if exceptional, in the "real" world, plus some super powers. There are standards, is the thing; they can't and won't send their students off to maybe die because of they're a secret society or whatever. They have accountability (to some extent) to the general public, in other words.
So where does Izuku's cliffhanger filled school life come from? Well, Tomura and the Tomura-ettes, for one, but for all the other times... Hori turned to his teacher.
Let me say this again, because I want to emphasis this: part of the reason Aizawa exists as he does, is so that Izuku can feel threatened at school by his teacher. Why? Because Izuku's suffering sells.
Meanwhile, though Izuku does get pulled into Bakugou's plot armor sometimes, and suffers for it (more), but as a person and a character, I think Aizawa unironically disliked Izuku from the start. He grows out of it, to some extent, but....
Let's backtrack a second, back to the Quirk Test. Izuku, at this point, is ripped. Even without his Quirk, he was throwing around fridges and working all day and night to prep for UA. He was at the peak of realistic human fitness, instead of whatever increasing soft cap we have for heroes is.
Toru is invisible. Sure, she's in shape, since she passed the exam, but Izuku clearly focused on his body in a way most of the other students aren't, and she has no Quirk that'd help her pass the test (a test that, as many have pointed out, Aizawa would have failed). She's a nice girl, sure, but there's no way she could have out performed Izuku in raw physical ability, even before the ball throw which was one of the best of that category, and far beyond whatever she could have done.
Yet Izuku was the one at the bottom, not Toru. Why? Well, you could blame Hori, and that's technically true, but the thing is, unlike Bakugou, Aizawa acts like he doesn't like Izuku. He blames him for everything, he refuses to do anything as he breaks his bones constantly, he calls him Problem Child, and anyone who thinks that's affectionate, and that Izuku should as such, and that it's a cute little nickname needs to consider that through the lenses of Izuku's low self esteem, much less from a teacher who constantly threatens his students.
Aizawa sabotaged Izuku's scores. He did it because, you're right: he's just like the teachers at Aldera, if more restrained, and for different reasons. Not because Izuku is Quirkless (though he would if Izuku was, because the man honestly is Quirkist), but because he has the wrong Quirk. Because Izuku had the audacity to come to a school to learn about how to use his Quirk, instead of practicing it illegally, or inside his own house where, at that power level, one wrong move could accidently his house. Because he apparently didn't read the files that said Izuku got it a month ago, or didn't care. Or maybe it's just he looked at Izuku, and realized that having him learn to control that was just... too much work?
At the end of the day, which reason he did it doesn't even matter. What matters is he did. The same way he plays constant mind games with his students for shits and giggles, in ways that should undermine their faith in him, the same way he paired a bully with his victim so they could 'work it out', the same way he puts minimal effort into so much of the work he does, and it's why I loathe him as a teacher.
Aizawa is a good hero, but the moment Nezu let him into a school was a mistake.

I stole your soul in exchange for silly bnha thoughts. Sorry. It was in the contract 😔 ANYWAYS!
Amputee!dadzawa after the war :3
When the dust settles and All for One is pronounced truly dead, the world does not go back to normal. It's subtle, but heroism as they know it has changed. Heroes are re-evaluated, and against his better judgement, Aizawa retires. He remains a teacher at UA, but now he gets to have 8 hours of sleep.
When he rolls into class the first day back, his students aren't shocked. They know. A few of them have lost limbs too, some of them are still hospital patients under the watch of recovery girl. But when the dust settles, they are all still here. Alive, fighting like hell. In the first few minutes there is only silence and the occasional rustle outside the door.
And then, Aizawa speaks. "I'm
proud of you all." He says. The words feel hollow and flat as he says them. Like he's waiting for the tension to break.
He wheels forward, and opens his arms up to his students. Tears line many of their eyes, and exhaust lines even more. They're just kids after all. Just kids, who have faced more than most pros.
The first one forward is Bakugou. One of his most promising students, which said a lot when he knew all of them would be in the top fifty in the coming decade. The boy had always been one to lead by example. He hugged Aizawa tightly, glad to see his stoic mentor. He pulls away with tears streaking his usually angry face. "Well? Come hug the old bastard before he hops out and does it himself." He says, not turning to face his classmates.
One by one they take turns hugging their mentor, every student does, even the more off put and quiet ones like Shoji and Todoroki. Everyone's tired. All of them have lost at least one person, not to mention entire parts of their quirk like Jirou. He makes sure to hug her extra tight and remind her just how strong she is.
He affirms all of his students, even the ones putting on a brave face. By the end of it all, he's crying too. He's angry and upset kids this young, hearts this fragile had to be hardened to survive the throws of war. He's destroyed that they had to face this, but he's so proud of them for surviving it anyways.
Sorry I didn’t answer this earlier,, was too busy wiping the tears from my eyes.
But aaaa I feel like I’ve been blessed and gifted this. I wanted to like exchange something back or draw something inspired by this because it was just so beautiful<3
So thank you ╰(*´︶`*)╯
(Also I didn’t expect you to actually take me up on the offer this is great)

Mha spoiler background character number 35 dies
Hi razz! I'm doing well how are you? good? Good.
So most vigilante izuku fanfiction I've found falls under quite similar patterns and flaws.
Route one: Izuku is homeless or pretty much only home to sleep and eat, but the author has never been homeless or entirely self reliant at a very young age before so they don't know what that does to your psyche or body.
Route two: Izuku goes behind his mom's back. This one limits what you can do with a lot of characters until you figure out what you're doing with Inko.
Another common problem these fanfictions have is their inherent need to have drama. So they make Izuku either suicidal, overtly traumatized, or just throws him into everyone else's problems.
Of course, this can get a bit redundant. So, here's what I've decided to do.
1, Izuku has a stable and healthy relationship with his mom and dad. His dad just works overseas.
2, Izuku actually has pretty decent mental health (at first) and spirals downward.
3, His mom knows about the vigilantism and helps him at times.
4, Izuku doesn't get involved with anyone in a significant way until he's established himself as a vigilante, and he doesn't meet Aizawa until a few months before the entrance exam.
My goal is to circumvent all of the same beats that get followed story to story, while keeping the aspects everyone likes, like hurt/comfort and fluff, along with dadzawa. It will just take longer, but I think that's more rewarding.

A Burning Star
A Burning Star by Gaelic Holiday
Midoriya Izuku runs on fury, spite, and burning rage. He doesn't need anyone but himself. He spits in the face of everyone who tells him he can't do something, and will carve a path through solid bedrock with his fingernails to fulfill his goals. The item at the very top of his list? Becoming the best damn hero this world has seen, and being the hero he desperately needs needed but never got.
Wishing on stars never got him anywhere. Cold, burning fury has pushed him farther than he could have ever imagined.
Alternatively:
Izuku has problems, meets Eraserdad and PapaMic, and suddenly those problems start showing why they are problems and not a good way of living your life.
He also has a lot of different psuedonyms.

RUL3S AND REGULATIONS
Tumblr media
Hi, I'm Lynne! Like all forms of Lyn Lynne or literally anything. So I just realized I didn't make this sort of post in the beginning of this blog, so I thought I might as well start now, since it's better late than never right? 🙃 let's see what else to put here… requests are open, I'm edit: 17 now!! (the 19 was a typo), she/her, and this blog is strictly sfw.
ANIME/FANDOMS I'LL WRITE FOR:
ARANYAK - because I literally CANNOT find any fanfics on it, and I'm down bad for angad malik
DORORO
fantastic beasts and where to find them
Fantastic beasts: secrets of Dumbledore
Harry Potter
Trollhunters
The hobbit
Hell's paradise
Spy x family
Avatar: the way of the water
My hero academia
Demon slayer
Assassination classroom
Violet Evergarden
Fruit basket
Horimiya
The girl who can see
Komi can't communicate
Death note
BLACKLISTED CHARACTERS:
overhaul/chisaki kai (he's a red flag and i regret the fic i wrote for him. and also its so hard to write for him ok 😩), mineta minoru (i just wanna strangle him until hes choking and red in the face) from my hero academia.
Sasuke (I have my reasons), and Jiraiya from Naruto.
Naruse shisuto from komi can't communicate
Akito sohma from fruit basket
(i honestly can't think of anyone else so ig that's all.)
THINGS THAT WILL GET YOU BLOCKED (OR CONTENT I WON'T WRITE FOR.)
I don't write nsfw. like at all. No smut, or any kinks or anything like that, so please don't request such things, and please respect my boundaries.
also that omegaverse/alpha (?) au sort of thing yall have, mainly because i honestly don't know much about it, and also because it makes me a tad uncomfortable
If you're pro-israel, sexist, misogynistic, racist, anti-vaxxer, fatphobic, Islamophobic, etc etc. I'm being honestly serious about this. Keep your shit opinions to yourself, the world is better without them.
If you send hate on anon.
STUFF THAT I'LL WRITE:
I'll write headcannons, scenarios, drabbles and imagines, though I might sound a bit rusty 👀
I also accept character x character fics although this mainly a x reader blog.
I'll be writing for female and gender neutral readers
Gore, yandere, and other dark themes are allowed, but the descriptions won't be that graphic
I can also write platonic relationships, familial relationships n the lot, for example like dadzawa or something.
All asks and requests will be answered and finished when inspiration/motivation strikes, which means there's no telling if its gonna be super quick or super slow, so please don't pressure me into writing quicker, and my sincerest apologies to the people who'll have to wait. There might also be circumstances where I won't be able to write for your asks, because it simply isn't easy?? Idk how to explain it (and im aware of how stupid that sounds,) but keep in mind that im not obligated (to finish the requests) either. Hope you enjoy!!! (I'm so excited!!)

Fic Masterlist
My AO3 with all my works is here!
Some of my works that I'm most proud of, or my favorites (in no particular order). Not all my fics are listed here, I've excluded many old fics because my writing has improved over the years.
I write a lot of dark content, so I've included warnings when needed, but always look at the AO3 tags as well. All fics are marked either NSFW or SFW to indicate smut, but just because something is marked SFW doesn't mean there are no warnings/dark themes. DD:DNE will also be marked with "DD".
Links to fics are under the cut!

Hi what about, A dadzawa fic but it’s more of the angsty side, it’s readers birthday(preferably male), and Aizawa, and a few others(your choice) are throwing him a surprise party, but reader is used to Aizawa not being home so he just stops by the door and Walks away, thinking no-one is home. Aizawa goes looking and sees reader crying with one cupcake and a candle, singing happy birthday to himself. Happy ending Ofc just a lot of angst before that :)
BROOOO THIS IS SUCH A GOOD IDEA AHHHH
I am SO sorry I didn’t see this till now but I HAVE WRITTEN IT SO HERE U GO!!!
If you like my work, check out my Masterlist! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The alarm blared in y/n’s ears as he smacked the top of his alarm clock.
He rubbed his eyes with one hand as he groped around for his phone with the other. Once he found it, he checked the date. (Bday date).
He sighs. Birthdays have never been a good time of year for him. Sure, he has Aizawa now, but he probably won’t even remember. Nobody else did, why would he be different?
Well, at least it’s a Saturday so he won’t have to worry about school.
Since it was a Saturday, he decided a little more beauty rest can’t hurt, so he goes back to bed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Next time he wakes up, it’s mid afternoon.
“Damn I slept late…how sleep deprived was I? Eh whatever, I should really go shower, I’m gross”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just as he’s about to enter the showers, he sees Kirishima exiting in sweats and a t-shirt, his hair dripping with water.
“Hey man what’s up?” Says the redhead.
“Uhhh. Nothing much I guess, what about you?”
Nothin much,” he whips out his phone and checks the time, “Hey, I’m super sorry but uhhhh….I’ve gotta goo… and uhh… feed my dog? Yeah! Feed my uhh dog…. Uhm Catch u later!” He says with a wave.
“Uhhhhh. That was…weird.” Says y/n as Kirishima sprints away.
“So much for anyone remembering my birthday”
Y/n looks down, as he feels a stinging behind his eyes and wetness on his cheeks.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As y/n is making his way back to his room, he looks through the pantry.
He bought a (favorite flavor) cupcake with frosting and 2 candles, a 1 and a 6, last time there was a shopping trip.
Sure, he may have bought it but that doesn’t mean people won’t steal it.
Luckily he was able to find a place right behind the giant random pasta bag where nobody would be able to see it, mainly because nobody here cooks pasta.
He checks it and sure enough, there it was. He grabs it and the candles and lights them.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Meanwhile with Aizawa and class 1-A, they were currently putting decorations up in his homeroom.
Now, you may be asking yourself, why the homeroom? Well, the answer is simple, the common room is just too obvious.
They had just about everything, streamers, balloons, cake, everything.
This was his son’s first birthday as an Aizawa and damn it he was going to make it memorable.
“Okay listen up, I’m going to go get y/n right now, okay? So make sure everything is ready by the time I get back.” Says Aizawa
He leaves the little hellions and goes to find his son, knowing him, he’s probably in his room.
As Aizawa opens the common room door, he hears a very faint noise.
It sounds almost like…sniffling? Was y/n crying?
He goes for a closer look, and what he sees may have cracked his heart of stone.
He saw his son sitting at the dining room table with a little (favorite flavor) cupcake in front of him with 16 on top of it. He was also singing happy birthday in a soft, broken voice.
After y/n blew his candles out, he couldn’t even bring himself to eat the cupcake, he feels completely forgotten.
Nobody was around all day, not even his dad. He feels invisible to the world.
He puts his arms on the table and lets his tears free. He doesn’t sob, just silently cries.
He suddenly feels a warm pressure on his shoulder that causes him to jump.
He whips his head around to see his dad looking at him with concern and maybe even a little guilt(?)
“Oh, I-I’m sorry for uhh for bothering you or anything, I’ll go back to my room.” He says as he looks down.
“Y/n, you aren’t bothering me, and how come you’re crying?”
“Uhm, well, today is uh my birthday, and I…I don’t know, I guess I was hoping that maybe someone would remember it, but it…uh.. it seems like nobody has, and everyone was gone so I figured nobody remembered.” Came the reply, the tears still steadily falling from y/n’s eyes.
Aizawa reached up and cupped y/n’s face with his hands, his thumbs wiping away the tears. He made it so y/n looked him directly face to face.
“I’m sorry I wasn’t here today, I feel like a shitty dad for not noticing how you felt. I know this may not make up for what I’ve done, but I think there’s something back in my classroom that will help cheer you up, are you okay with coming with me to go and get it?”
Y/n nods and they both stand up. “Listen here y/n. I love you so so much, I never want you to feel worthless or useless,” he pulls y/n into a hug, “I’m glad you trusted me enough to open up as tell me what you were feeling. I’m always here for you okay?”
He feels y/n nod agains his shoulder, “good”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Back at the home room classroom, class 1-A is impatiently waiting in a pitch black classroom.
“Ugh when do you think y/n is gonna show up?” whines Kaminari.
“I don’t know man, but keep quiet!” Says Kirishima in a hushed voice.
“Ugh y/n better hurry the hell up my knees are getting a cramp dammit.” Says Bakugou from behind a desk.
“Oh is Bakugou turning into a grandpa? Cant handle a little crouching?” Teases Sero.
“SHUT UP TAPE FACE” replies Bakugou in a somewhat quiet screech.
“Everyone shut up I hear footsteps!” Shushes Jirou with an earjack to the ground.
Everyone shuts up and gets ready to pounce.
“So dad, why do we need to-”
“SURPRISE!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY Y/N!!”
Y/n stood there, mouth agape and tears once again threatening to resurface. Aizawa wraps his hands around y/n’s shoulders, pulling him into a side hug.
“Y-you didn’t forget.” Says y/n in a shocked whisper.
“Of course we didn’t forget silly! It’s your birthday!!” Says Mina pulling him away from Aizawa and into a proper hug.
“You really didn’t forget.” Whispers y/n as he hugs back Mina with all he can.
“Thank you, thank you all so much! I-I’ve never had a birthday party before…I-just thank you all.” He says with a teary voice.
“Awww we’re here for you y/n” says Kirishima as he steals you from Mina and pulls you into a hug.
Mina pouts but goes realizes the cake is unsupervised and cheers back up.
Everyone else has started mingling and doing whatever.
Y/n turns back around to his dad and gives him a watery smile, “thank you so much dad.” He says as he hugs him once more.
“No problem son.”
