Nightwing (2011) Issue #29
Nightwing is the biggest inspiration in my own superhero stories. Dick Grayson is the heart and soul of DC Comics and I try to put the same kind of hope and light in my stories as I fell in love with in his. While the Nightwing ethos touches every part of my writing, no where is that touch stronger than in my first series of shorts and in my first character, The Street Rat. I didn’t even realize how much Eddie was inspired by Dick until I read the final edits before posting. I can only hope Eddie makes someone else believe in the potential and goodness of people the way Dick has done for me. I made this account to talk about my own writing, but it’ll also be a place where I share what I’m reading, my general superhero thoughts, and, most likely, this will end up being primarily a Nightwing fan account.

Au where Alfred died with the Wayne’s and Bruce grew up even more feral
The only way for Bruce to end up worse is if no one found him after his parents died and he just raised himself on the streets

There is something so special to me about Jonah Elias Magnus Bouchard, this 200 year old self assured omega-powerful charming all seeing guy who dresses classy and never gets out the house without a full manicure and 1 hour spent fussing over his hair, who's always polite and smells good and knows his undertones and grows the snobbiest mustache and for whom appearances are everything
taking one look at unwashed hasn't-slept-in-two-days rude paranoid hunched over doesn't know his clothing size gremlin Jonathan Sims and going like I want this one

What if Basil became the villain and Ratigan the hero? One good day...one bad day...could have turned either of them into something else entirely.
AKA Ratigan becomes sad and repressed and Basil become the evil manic twink he's always been.
