My muses are stalling as I write my own latest longfic, so I figured I might as well pluck out a few longfics by other people in case anyone’s after a few good long reads!

All fics in this list are at least 100k words long, and complete!  I’ll sort by fandom this time to make it a bit easier to find fics relevant to people’s interests...

He’ll be able to save people even without being a hero and, if he happens to die while he’s at it...well, like Kacchan said, maybe he’d be born with a quirk in the next life.

When he discovers how lost the boy is, he resolves to help him and his friends get rid of this dark lord--as well as their malignant (and worse, ineffectual) new teacher.

The Dragon-King's Temple by Kryal [AO3] Teen.  Friendship/Adventure.  Zuko, Toph, Jack, Janet. 196k Through the spite of the spirits or plain rotten chance, a door that would have been better left untouched has opened. On the other hand, with Fire and Earth as one's allies, sometimes escaping is the easy part.

Kiya infodump to me about Miruko/Burnin

Where do I even begin?!

I just know I love them together (and separately) enough to make my new theme permanently!

(And this is where it gets long I had no idea it would be! I really thought I had little to say, I'm so sorry! I just ramble! 😭)

First off, they have no right being that gorgeous! No right!

Second, no right being that badass! (I swear if I see one more person hate on a female character for the same thing they love a male character for, kneecaps gone.) I mentioned it in a post way back about Miruko, but the fact that she just has rabbit features and made it to be #5 WITH NO AGENCY is just insane to me in a good way. Rabbits are fast and I don't doubt are strong, but how strong Miruko is?! WHAT?! She's insanely strong and we only got a glimpse of that at the end of season 4 (if you're an anime only). This next season is going to showcase more of her badassery and I hope they do my girl justice. And Burnin?! Okay, first off I love her design. The sharp teeth and finger(nails?) is something I didn't think I'd see on a fire user in their series. And her hair? I want my hair that color. I really love that she can actually throw chunks of her hair like fireballs. That pleases me very much. I know people like Dabi's fire, I like it too it's blue, but Burnin with flaming yellow-green hair that she can fly with and pull pieces of it to throw at people is just a little more cooler to me. Overall, I want to see them fighting together. I want to see Miruko and Burnin taking down bad guys together. Throwing fireballs and kicking.

Third, their personalities???!!! They're both passionate at what they do what they do with "I don't take no shit" attitudes and I just adore them for that. Yes, they are definitely like Katsuki in personality and damn it it's glorious! It's funny both Miruko and Burnin have their moments where they had some sort of clash with Katsuki. I love that. Because even with similar personalities they still don't let that get in the way of their end goal which is taking down the bad guy. Honestly, I feel like if Burnin and Miruko got to actually have a face to face, their personalities would clash but they would definitely see eye to eye so quickly and go "I like her!"

I swear that whole writing challenge made me realize I am a definite mess for these women. I gotta write more Miruko/Burnin content like now before I lose my mind. Might even add them in my "There's Miruko, There's Rumi" story because Miruko deserves to have a girlfriend who would kick ass with her, also spend nights cuddling with her and give her embarrassing nicknames and banter with for laughs. I just... I have no regrets with that series of fics of them just being together. Oh my gosh, every time I got to writing a story I had to pause and go "WHY?! WHY IS THIS SO 😭😭😭" I just adore both characters and writing content for them just makes me even happier. I need to write more soft content for them. More content of them teaming up, more content of them bantering, more content of them being soft girlfriends/wives (one of the stories they're married), JUST MORE CONTENT!

If you ever get a chance to read the fic, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing it. It was by far the hardest thing I wrote this year because there was so little to work with, but other than "BotB", it has became a top favorite.

🥦☀️IZUKU MIDORIYA HEADCANONS!!!

He once got an undercut

The next day, when classes started, everyone had a sexuality crisis.

After the Sport Festival, he usually hangs out with Mei and helps her with her inventions or just have fun.

He’s VERY SMART. He’s not a genius, but he does surprise some people from time to time.

He’s the Sunshine Resident Kid, but after the Mineta incident, Class 1A knows he can also go feral.

DO NOT GET HIM ON A BAD DAY

He’s neurodivergent.

When he was little he already admired underground heroes.

After his diagnosis, that admiration strengthened and when he sees pro hero Eraserhead.

Eraserhead fights practically quirkless and gives him hope.

Eraserhead doesn’t have any merch, so Izuku makes his own.

After his first day at UA, Izuku comes home excitedly talking to his mother about who was his homeroom teacher.

Izuku has at least a page of each one of his classmates in his Hero Analysis Notebook.

The teacher staff and Lunch Rush also have one.

He hasn’t built the courage to show them to anybody but he’s planning on doing it soon.

Aizawa suspects Izuku’s analysis are good so he tries to hide Izuku from Nedzu.

Nedzu still discovers it and now has a new personal student.

Jirou and him sometimes spend nights together either in one of their dorms or in the common room.

Shinsou joins them some time after.

Izuku learnt to play the Ukulele from Jirou.

But he already knew how to sing.

Izuku only argues with her mother because of two things:

Because she’s overprotective.

Because she still loves Hisashi although he abandoned him.

Izuku spent months without going to a supermarket after the Shigaraki incident.

The first few times he had to go alongside Aizawa.

He sometimes resents All Might because of what he told him.

Then he thinks he’s a total dumbass for leaving him on a roof.

But weird uncles who make you their successor

You gotta love them

He visits Eri at least twice a week and he always brings apples, apple pies, caramel apples... Something related to apples.

He’s trans

Aizawa gives him advice on that since he is too.

Once Aizawa gave him the talk of binders and Izuku gained more confidence, he started making binders on his own.

He has A LOT

And many of them are hero themed: Eraserhead, Hawks, Miruko, All Might...

And some inspired by his classmates (Uravity, Shoto, Pinky, Creati...)

On January 24, Twitter users @diamond_dust404, @jackedfrost and @icespicebaby formed a group chat when they all got blocked by Endeavor’s official Twitter account. After nearly ten months of developing into a chaotic adoptive family of three, it all changes when Jacked Frost (Todoroki Natsuo) and Ice Spice (Todoroki Shouto) accidentally find out that they are brothers in real life. Clearly, the next step is to meet with their third member, right?

Not that we’re sure that he actually die, since 1. He is here and living his full theater kid potential. 2. For anyone who is reading BNHA vigilante, you would know that it’s not the first time AFO grabbed a hero student who may or may not have died.

Now, my question is “Where do that lower jaw bone came from?” Can you still extract DNA from something that was practically cremated? If not, does AFO have a room with a bunch of bones that he can drop on his way out?

Also, how old is Touya here? I know he looks younger than he is but is he old enough to be in UA?

I. Need. Answers.

That’s the second kid who got white hair after a ridiculously powerful quirk appeared and I now have other questions.

Such as, will I get a white-haired-Izuku anytime soon?

By the way, can we consider that Tenko and Touya have quirk singularities?

1. I can hear half of the writing community weeping because Touya had red hair. And at least one other person grumbling because Touya changing hair color with the seasons.

2. It’s incredible how tiny Touya doesn’t look like the Touya we know. He had a completely different demeanor.

3. Good to know Endeavor was not always a dick. 

Don’t mind me, I am just fascinated at seeing tiny Touya looking at Baby Fuyumi (while clutching my chest because them being twins is jossed). That’s the most adorable thing I have ever seen.

Also, very relieved to know that Rei agreed to have several kids.

Now, I need to know what happened to make that family collapse.

Touya is wearing different clothes than in the first image so that means he might have some resistance at first but his fire grew too hot for his body.

Now, my question is: how come he couldn’t regulate the temperature of his flames like fire users in his family?

Am I... feeling bad... for Endeavor?

Actually, you know what? If Dabi didn’t do that on his computer on his own, I would just be so disappointed because waving a DNA around is just pointless in this situation.

Especially as I don’t see when he had the time to get some blood from the Kyushu fight? He only had the time to take two steps in Endeavor’s direction before running like hell when Miruko arrived (which was a rare sign of common sense, so kudos to him, I guess.)

That’s the sound of Dabi destroying his family every chance at being normal once again. Forget all the progress they made, they will now be under public scrutiny forever, everyone having an opinion on their family.

I see that at this point, Dabi is just ending for everyone’s career...

I am just going to stay there and stare at the wall as I am thinking about Dabi broascasting a murder on every screen of the country.

That’s just so disrespectful to Twice. He fought for his friends and instead, Dabi turned his last moment in him desperately pleading.

Also, that was a really dumb move.

Listen here, kids, when you throw a mind-breaking revelation at someone, you stick as close to the truth as possible because if people find anything that doesn’t make sense, your whole story will be doubted.

Also, casual reminder... 

Hawks recorded what was going on. 

That means that if this recording thing is found, they can discredit Dabi’s entire story.

He isn’t even asking Endeavor to fight Dabi. He will do it. He must know that Nejire and him simply can’t win against the LoV and Gigantomachia but it’s not like there is anyone else.

Everyone is down and right now, the number 1 hero is too shocked to even blink, and if he doesn’t pull himself together in the next second, they are going to die.

“no, im not even 80% done, shou.” you mumble, as you toy around with videostar. he admires your talent, yes— but he also wants you to sleep. it’s literally 2am.

“love, you can finish that tomorrow. sleep is important— and even if you wanted to finish that, it might not be.. the most accurate.” he didn’t know how to word it, and it might even be a little white lie for you to get into bed with him and go into deep slumber.

it worked, that’s what really matters. you save your edit, and turn to him— putting down your tablet as you move to snuggle next to him, eyes already fluttering.

shouto smiles while he warms up his left hand, pressing it to any sore muscles. he can’t wait to see the final product (when you’ve gotten sleep.)

your sleep is important. and he wouldn’t want you to be tired at school, or at anywhere since you’re balancing editing while maintaining nice stats in school.

“h-hey Y/N, isn’t it time you sleep?” he says, not really wanting to be loud, he also doesn’t want to be too loud, since it’s late in the morning— and he can see the eyestrain from your laptop. (he’s kinda worried for you too, you stare at eyestrain a lot)

you only hum in reply, and he sighs— resting his head against your body. nudging you to rest. and eventually you give in to his soft velvety words.

you save, and close your laptop— your eyes slightly tired from eyestrain, and he’s mumbling about how your edits are amazing, but he’s worried about the eyestrain.

“it’s fine, izuku” you laugh, “im immune at this point.” you say that, even though you’re rubbing your eyes— squinting.

he’s not so convinced, but he’s just happy you’re taking a rest. he can’t wait for that edit to come in and break the community once more.

If some anime onlys want to spoil the 5th season for themselves then this is your Pandora box, enjoy!

So the last episode of season 4 is manga chapter 190. Endeavor won the fight although he's heavily bleeding so Hawks comes to his aid and teases him for using the same pose as All Might but then, surprise; Dabi is arriving on the scene. The thing is, Dabi sent the nomu to fight Endeavor so that he could finish him off when Endeavor's at his most vulnerable state. Hawks also couldn't fight since Endeavor burned most of his feathers. Miruko comes to the rescue in the last minute and Dabi said "welp fuck that" so he disappeared. Later in the day, Hawks and Dabi meet in the abandoned factory. Hawks is angry bc Dabi acted out of their plan- Dabi was supposed to send the nomu to a different location, not in the middle of the city. He also noted that the nomu was on a completely different level from the ones they've seen so far. Hawks is working for the league and he was supposed to bring some random strong guy to fight the nomu in order to test its abilities, but he chose Endeavor who got damaged pretty badly and is now recovering in the hospital. In reality, Hawks is spying on the league bc the hero commission told him so. Dabi is still suspicious of Hawks, he doesn't trust him but he told him that they'll stay in contact. Later Hawks is arriving to the hospital to check on Endeavor, he's smiling but his eyes are smudged on the corners, meaning that he was crying because he felt guilty for indirectly hurting Endeavor. Later on we find out about Hawks' past. As a little kid he saved some random people from a car crash. From a very young age he was super fast and that's how the hero commission heard of him and wanted to meet him. Hawks' family is very poor and the commission decided to take him under their wing, they also promised to take care of his family. Since then Hawks became a child soldier, he was groomed into becoming a perfect hero. But he feels trapped, like a bird in a cage. He doesn't feel free at all but as long as he can accomplish his dream- to achieve a society where heroes can enjoy their free time, then he'd be happy, even if it meant that he had to dirty his hands in the process.

The next day Endeavor arrives home. Natsuo, Fuyumi and Shouto are having their first family dinner. Endeavor has a permanent scar on his face, the same side Shouto has his burn mark. Shouto is very indifferent towards this and continues slurping his noodles. Natsuo is angry at Endeavor bc he and Shouto finally got to learn more about each other since they couldn't interact much bc Endeavor isolated Shouto from his siblings. He's yelling at him and getting out of the house. Endeavor is taking it all, he knows he deserves it. Fuyumi is sad and wishes for their family to get better. Fuyumi is trying very hard for their family and to remain as optimistic as she possibly can.

Deku's dreaming of ofa users from the end of season 4. We get All Might flashback where Nana's dying and transferring ofa to All Might. Gran Torino is training him afterwards and the two are talking about All Might's lack of experience. All Might goes to America after he graduates. And the flashback ends. Deku talks to All Might about his strange dream of ofa users and All Might is concerned in the beginning but reassures him and tells him that they'll figure it out together. Since Bakugou already knows about ofa Deku and him are training together. Aizawa and Shinsou are coming out of the break room and Aizawa held a meeting at Ground Gamma (training faculty). There're class a and class b at the gathering and they're having joined training in a way that they're being divided into groups. Shinsou is invited bc he's hoping to transfer to the hero course and everyone is surprised. Shinsou declares that he's not wishing to make any friends but you can see Midoriya's determined "I'll befriend you" look. Monoma also wants to befriend Shinsou bc he feels like he can relate to their Quirks both being perceived as villainous. The joint training begins and long story short- Deku gets a new Quirk called Black Whip but he can't control it well so there's chaos on the field but Shinsou and Uraraka manage to save him. Bakugou gets character development bc he saved Jirou from getting attacked by the opponent's team. Afterwards the teachers are evaluating each group's teamwork, class a wins. After that Aizawa tells everyone that Shinsou will definitely transfer to the hero course when they all become 2nd years. It's still unknown if he'll transfer to the class a or b. Aizawa talks to Monoma and asks him if he could pay a visit to Eri tomorrow. Eri meets Monoma for the first time and she's kinda scared but Mirio is joking ab it, calling Monoma "the dark side of ua". Monoma is totally unswept and being fabulous as always. So they enter the house and Aizawa tells him to try to copy Eri's Quirk. A small horn appears on Monoma's head and he's pretty but he says that he can't copy her entire ability since he only copies the bare-bones essence of a Quirk. That's also the reason why he couldn't copy Deku's ofa, only green lightnings that casually appear around his body. Deku is internally glad for Monoma bc he's sure, if Monoma ever managed to copy ofa, that he'd have a bunch of broken bones and we can see Deku sweat-dropping on the thought of it. Aizawa says it's a shame that Monoma couldn't manage to copy her Quirk bc he thought that Monoma could teach her how to use it but since it's not possible they need to find another way. Eri feels like a burden but Deku comforts her and she's smiling again.

It's early December and snow is starting to fall. Class a is excited in the dormitories and Tsuyu is going into hibernation when she feels too cold. We find out that Sero and Todoroki share the same taste in manga. Yes the boys are reading mangas. Bakugou and Todoroki still need to finish their license course so we see the two together with Inasa and Camie again. Gang Orca's having enough of them (he loves them). Class a is commenting on Todoroki and Bakugou while they're away and Kaminari says that getting his license was the only time he ever beat the two at anything. He adds "how sad" and wow such a roast king. Long story short Todoroki and Bakugou accomplished their task- they fought together against some small gang belonging to a criminal organization called meta liberation army and YEA HORIKOSHI IS INTRODUCING US NEW VILLAINS HOORAY. All Might approaches the two after they got their licenses and he's congratulating them by ruffling their heads. Bakugou is disgusted and Todoroki's having a soft smile.

BACK TO THE VILLAINS! The title changes from MY HERO ACADEMIA to MY VILLAIN ACADEMIA, so yea this part is only about the villains. Shigaraki's hair grew longer, he's missing Kurogiri, they're broke bc Giran's away and Dabi's arriving with no newbies since he burns everyone he meets on his way so his search doesn't make that much sense. They need to find the doctor afo often interacted with when all of a sudden, boom, a monstrous-like creature appears out from the ground called Gigantomachia and Shigaraki needs to prove his worth as afo's successor. The league appears in the doctor's underground lab and the doc is supposed to prepare Shigaraki for the future challenges. Shigaraki asks doctor to reproduce his Quirk erasing bullets and the doc asks Shigaraki about his motivations for becoming the world's symbol of destruction. Shigaraki's having flashbacks of his and afo's time together. We get a glimpse of Shigaraki's past and we found out, when his Quirk manifested for the first time, that he accidentally killed his entire family one night and the hands he's having on his body are actually his family's hands. He's living with guilt for the rest of his life. He ended up on the streets and he was asking random civilians for help but everyone ignored him. Afo found him and that's how he ended up becoming the successor of the world's greatest villain. Shigaraki hates afo bc he's an evil prick, but he also hates the entire hero society bc everyone let him down when he needed them the most.

Shigaraki had a good heart as a kid, his own sister compared him to All Might. His grandma is Nana Shimura and he also loved heroes very much. He was basically Deku turned evil. Nonetheless, Shigaraki still has a good heart bc he cares ab his friends. Because of his never-ending hate for the hero society and everything that breathes, he decided to destroy the world and doctor was like "ok u passed the vibe check". The league gets out of the lab and for a month and a half Shigaraki doesn't sleep and fights Gigantomachia. Since Gigantomachia's primary target is his master's successor, the rest of the league is taking shifts and trying to help Shigaraki out. Shigaraki thinks he's close to beating the giant but then Twice's phone rang and it turns the new villain organization kidnapped Giran and held him hostage in their hideout in a mountainous area called Deika City. The league is having enough of their bullshit so they decide to go save their man. Long story short, meta liberation army (mla) is a large, powerful villain organization that follows the philosophy that the free usage of Quirks is a basic human right and emphasizes liberation over regulation. The original meta liberation army was founded and led by the infamous Destro and the current army was founded and led by his son Re-Destro, Rikiya Yotsubashi. Long story short, Toga fights against a pretty lady with a landmine Quirk and she kills the lady, her name was Chitose Kizuki, also known as Curious. Toga's Quirk evolves bc she can now copy Quirks alongside appearances. Dabi is fighting a boy with an ice Quirk, his name is Geten. He has a striking resemblance to Rei Todoroki since he has a shoulder-length white hair and long white lashes. Dabi's fight with Geten was the first time he started using his Quirk more earnestly and the city is basically in ice and fire. Geten has very similar beliefs to Endeavor and thinks that people with strongest Quirks deserve the best things in life and Dabi becomes angry. Tbh this is the first time Dabi drops his mask of boredom and indifference. Shigaraki fights against Re-Destro and his Quirk evolves. Shigaraki basically disintegrated the entire city and lov wins. The newer army later merged with the league to form the paranormal liberation front. It's a big ass criminal organization and Shigaraki's the absolute ruler of it all. Later the lieutenants are divided into squads and Dabi and Geten are put together which is hilarious and iconic. Shigaraki comes later to the doctor’s and is being put into a large lab tube for the next 4 months where he's developing a Quirk- afo. After these 4 months there's going to be a war between heroes and villains.

Camellias and Carrots

Hey y’all. I’m finally writing something for my OCs. I just wanna say that @wickedhellagoodtime‘s OC is briefly mentioned but otherwise I hope you enjoy!

"Uh, Hanamori-san, she's back again."

Tsubaki let out a groan. She set the bag of soil she was carrying on the wooden counter next to the cash register. Tsubaki could hear the front door shake as someone continuously banged on it.

"Just let her in, Ichiro," she sighed, wiping her hands on her apron. "She'll bust down the door if we don't hurry."

The young black-haired man gulped and nodded. He passed the rows of flowers on shelves stood guard with their backs turned away from the walls. Side-stepping the island table containing the array of multi-color bouquets, Ichiro nervously adjusted his glasses then opened the door. The door wasn't even fully opened when the figure shoved themselves into the store. Tsubaki crossed her arms. She eyed the rude intruder up and down.

"You know, you're making yourself rather suspicious in that outfit, bunny."

The person growled and ripped off her broad-rimmed hat. Instantly two fluffy white rabbit ears perked up once their cover was gone. The person, a woman wearing a rather large white coat with a fluffy white collar and cuffs, pointed an accusatory finger at the Tsubaki. "I've told you repeatedly to not call me bunny, Dropout!"

Tsubaki rolled her eyes. "Fine. Just lose the coat. You look like you just murdered a bunch of polar bears for it."

The woman growled and her ears swiveled towards Ichiro. He was trying to inch his way towards the backroom when the woman grapped his shirt collar. Ichiro let out a yelp as the woman whipped him around to face her.

"Listen, kid, take my coat and hat and put them somewhere in the back then stay there. Your boss and I need to chat."

"Yes, Usagiyama-san!" Ichiro replied, immediately taking the clothing items and rushing to the back.

Now that Tsubaki could fully see the person, the identity of the individual was confirmed. The Pro-Hero Rumi Usagiyama, Hero Name Miruko, returned to her flower shop to bother her once more.

Miruko stretched her arms over her head, grunting at the action. Tsubaki, against better judgment, gave her another once over. Miruko's skin was smooth and marked with dozens of tiny and large scars alike. Her body was definitely built for her Quirk, with her muscular thighs and her lean calves certainly reminded Tsubaki of the rabbits she saw at the park. But that didn't mean her upper body was neglected. Tsubaki observed her rock-solid core as the Hero shifted to stretching her triceps. Speaking of triceps, both them and her biceps were bludging with the clear power that was under her deep brown skin. Tsubaki then moved to her chest which had a crescent moon symbol plastered right on it.

The store owner turned her head in shame. This woman harasses me constantly and yet I have the gull to objectify her. I'm disgusting!

"Hey, who's that kid?"

Tsubaki returned to the present and noticed that Miruko was staring at the entrance to the backroom. Tsubaki sighed. "I tell you his name every time you come here, it's Ichiro Niwakojo."

"Riiiiight, and, uh, what's his Quirk?"

Tsubaki didn't reply right away. She decided that if Miruko wasn't going to leave any time soon, she was going to continue working. She was grateful that her toolbox was still on the floor near the half-circle counter that was still holding the bag of soil from earlier. Making a mental note to take care of that later, Tsubaki made her way to the front of the store, knowing some petunias needed to be pruned for a client. Miruko stayed where she was but both her eyes and ears were still pointed at the pink petal-haired storeowner.

"It's called Plant Growth. Basically, he can grow plants slightly faster if he knows the biological makeup of said plant." Tsubaki cut back some dead leaves off one of the petunias. She took great care in not damaging the stem or the healthy leaves.

"A lot different than your Quirk. A lot weaker." Miruko sneered.

Tsubaki knew what the Pro-Hero was playing at. She didn't take the bait, instead choosing to move to a different flower. "Yes, but he's great with all the flowers and his bouquet-craft almost rivals my own. I know he wants to be a horticulturist but if he ever changed career paths I wouldn't be upset."

Miruko's ear twitched but she didn't say anything. Tsubaki finished her pruning and set her tools back into her box. She was lucky to have some fresh soil and transport bags underneath her counter and began to dig up the flowers. Miruko watched with intensity as Tsubaki poured fresh soil into a cloth bag with the flowers gently placed inside. As the florist began to finish up her task, the Pro-Hero spoke up once more.

"You're hardworking."

Tsubaki raised an eyebrow. "Thank you?"

Miruko frowned. "Why do you say it like that?"

"Because this is the first time you've complimented me," Tsubaki explained.

"No, it hasn't." Miruko denied, her ears folding back against her head.

"Yes, it has."

"Whatever!" Miruko's hand flew up in annoyance before slamming down onto the counter. Tsubaki heard a crack. "You're paying for that," She murmured.

"You're clearly know how to work with all this plant stuff, you're hardworking and never stop working even when I show up-"

"Because I have a business to run."

"-you show great talent with your Quirk."

"Now I know you're pulling at straws! I haven't used my Quirk a single time you've been here."

"Really?" Miruko smirked and pointed at the bag still tightly grasped in Tsubaki's hand. "Last time I was here those flowers were nothing but seeds."

Tsubaki looked away. "So?"

"I was here only two days ago."

Tsubaki growled and tossed the bag onto the counter. "So what, I use my Quirk to help my business? What else am I to do with my Quirk?"

"Become a Hero! Stop playing with your little flowers and actually do something!" Miruko leaned over the counter. Tsubaki could feel her hot breath on her face. "You could be saving lives but instead you choose to hide away because you got scared."

Tsubaki bared her teeth. "How dare you! I lost everything in that battle and, instead of wallowing in despair, I made a name for myself. I built myself a life where I can find peace within myself and I don't have to wake up every day worried if those I love are dead or not."

"You wake up every day for what? Something that someone else will buy and probably not take care of? Something that will end up dying in less than a few weeks? Maybe a few months at the most?"

"At least I enjoy what I do and don't have to parade around pretending my life is so cool and that there are no downsides to it."

"Oh please, you're a fool to think I don't know I could die." Miruko grinned. "That's just apart of the thrill."

"Apart of the- Oh Lord, you've lost your mind." Tsubaki leaned against the hall. She buried her head in her hands. The conversation always went like this when she was faced with Miruko.

"Besides," Miruko continued. "I can just have days off when I feel like it."

"So can I. You're not special." Tsubaki countered.

"I thought you had to work every day just to keep yourself afloat," Miruko said.

"That is a fantasy you crafted yourself. I'm financially stable. But I do close the shop if I'm feeling sick or if I have to go out shopping. Sometimes I close early when it's a holiday." Tsubaki explained.

Miruko scoffed. "You need to go shopping? Why can't you just grow it, Dropout?"

"You can't grow meat on trees, bunny." Tsubaki snapped.

That shout Miruko up because her ears shoot up at the statement. Tsubaki thought the Hero was going to say something snarky but the opposite happened. Miruko's face contorted into confusion and bewilderment. Her body sort of fell forward against the counter as if she couldn't properly stand. Tsubaki wondered if the rabbit Quirked hero was having a heart attack or something. Instead, the store owner was stunned by Miruko's next sentence.

"You eat meat?"

It was Tsubaki's turn to be confused. She stumbled with her words before she finally shot out, "Yes? Why wouldn't I?"

Miruko blushed and awkwardly looked at the floor. "Well, it's just... You know!" She gestured up and down at Tsubaki.

Tsubaki blinked a few times before it hit her. "Are you... Stereotyping me?"

"No! I just... Are you like a venus flytrap?"

"No, I'm not like a venus flytrap!" Tsubaki shouted, gripping the siding of her head as if a headache was beginning to form. "I'm a human being!"

"But wouldn't you be a vegetarian because you're, like, a plant?" Miruko asked, her voice rising several octaves higher.

"If I were a plant, why would I eat my own kind?" Tsubaki replied with irritation seeping into her tone.

"I don't know, I just thought-"

"If you're a rabbit, why don't you eat carrots all the time and say 'what's up, doc?'". Tsubaki interrupted, putting on a bad impression while she was at it.

Miruko's blush deepened as she shoved a finger in the plant Quirk user's face. "I'm not Bugs fucking Bunny, first of all! And second of all, I do enjoy carro-"

A low yet loud growled rumbled through the store. Tsubaki instantly whipped her head around, trying to locate the source of the noise. She learned from both living in the big city and Hero Training that villains could be around every corner. She did a once-over of the shelves, making sure no one had snuck in while the two were arguing. When no one could be seen she yelled for Ichiro. She asked if he had heard anything, still making sure the front of the store was safe.

"No, ma'am. Is something wrong?" Ichiro replied, still hiding in the backroom afraid to face Miruko if she saw him disobeying his orders.

"Miruko did you-"

The Pro-Hero was clutching her waist and visibly shaking. Her ears were lying lifeless against her head. Tsubaki ducked slightly and noticed her eyes were watering. It took her a few moments, her Tsubaki's own eyes widened with surprise.

"Are you... Hungry?"

"Shut up!"

Tsubaki winced as Miruko slammed her forehead into her's. The rabbit woman's red eyes were like two fiery suns as she spoke.

"I wasn't able to eat breakfast today before some villains decided to stir up some trouble. They were super close so I couldn't just do nothing! Then I had to on a search and rescue mission after a bunch of hikers got in a landslide and then-"

"Alright, I get it," Tsubaki pushed the hero off her and rubbed her aching forehead with the back of her hand. "But... It's nearly two-thirty, why didn't you just stop and get lunch?"

Miruko growled but turned her gaze away from Tsubaki. "I had to see you first, of course."

Tsubaki dramatically placed two hands on her chest and cooed. "Oh, darling~, you shouldn't have!"

Miruko's temper flared up. "I'll make you eat those words, Dropo-!"

The small silver and green-screen communicator on the Pro's wrist lit up and began to beat. Miruko snarled and ripped it off her wrist before holding it up to her ear.

"What?!" She barked.

Tsubaki couldn't hear the conversation, but she could tell Miruko was getting more and more annoyed by her slouched body posture. Her right foot was tapping away like crazy as the conversation continued.

"What do you mean I-!" Miruko shouted after Tsubaki was sure her foot broke through the floor. "I already said no! ...What do you mean I have to!? Do they know who I fucking am!? No, don't 'Usagiyama-san' me, I- Don't hang up you cock-sucking-!"

Miruko whipped around with both shock and fury plastered all over her face. "They hung up on me!"

"Who is they?" Tsubaki asked.

"The Hero Public Safety Commission," Miruko explained, solving her communicator back into its silver band-like holster. "They believe it'd be better for me to be seen with a sidekick so the public doesn't worry about me dying or whatever. Says it's to 'calm their nerves'".

Tsubaki couldn't help but snort at Miruko's mocking tone. She watched as the Hero make her way to the front door before cursing.

"Shit, my disguise! Whatever, I'll have to pick it up later. The Commission will have my head if I don't show up soon."

"I thought you said you were free to do Hero Work whenever you felt like it. That you could choose your free days." Tsubaki smirked.

"Shut up, Dropout!" Miruko yelled back.

Tsubaki chuckled. She was about to turn to go back to her work when she realized something.

"You said you liked carrots, right?"

Miruko didn't even look at her, just swirled her ears towards her to let Tsubaki know she was listening. "Yeah? What about it?"

"Just curious." Tsubaki waved it off.

Miruko just grunted and exited the store, giving the building some time to breathe.

Rumi hated taking the back ways when going places but she didn't want that dropout's store flooded with paparazzi when she just wanted to receive her clothes. The last wave was already hard to shake off, if they saw her going into some random flower shop owned by one of UA's biggest scandals, both her and Tsubaki would be swarmed by the press for weeks to come.

Crouching next to a dumpster, Rumi shivered as she was forced to place her feet in some nasty brownish puddle. Rumi grided her teeth together then faced the way leading onto the street.

I swear, if someone with a camera comes up to me I'll break it over their heads!

She did a mental countdown in her head before using all her speed to dash out of the alley and onto the sidewalk. She had to use all her leg muscles to skid to a stop or else be run over by a car then raced down the street. To everyone else, she was just a white blur. Someone would probably call the cops or try to get some Heroes involved if she continued to run past civilians.

Let 'em! She thought to herself, grinning one of her famous smiles I'll be out faster then before those stupid police can even think of coming over here!

Luckily, Tsubaki’s store was at the end of the line of buildings so Rumi just ran inside and slammed the door behind her. It was a miracle the glass door didn't shatter as the entire building shook due to the force.

"Dropout! Guess what! I got a sidekick and he might actually be kickass! His name is Oniyama, like my name, he wears a rabbit- Hey! Where are you?"

Ichiro, standing behind the cash register, waved at the Pro. "Hello, Usagiyama-san!" Although he sounded friendly, he was slowly inching away from Rumi so he wouldn't be in her line of fury.

Rumi placed her hands on her hips. "Hey, kid, where's Dropout?"

Ichiro fidgeted with a nearby rag. "Hanamori-san? She went out to make a delivery ten minutes ago. She won't be here for another hour."

Miruko frowned and opened her mouth to speak, but Ichiro beat her to it. "Oh, I already have your coat and hat here, ma'am. But Hanamori-san told me to tell you that she has something for you upstairs." He pointed to the wooden stairs behind the counter.

"You mean... She left something for me in her apartment?" Rumi scoffed. "Yeah, right, I'm not stupid. That has trap written all over it."

Ichiro tried to speak, but it was Rumi's turn to cut him off. "But I'll see what that Dropout has in store for me."

She walked past the rows of flowers and went behind to counter to the stares. Ichiro's gaze followed her until she turned to look at him. Her mouth grew into a wide smile.

"Move even a hair and I'll break your legs and send you to the police myself."

Ichiro whimpered but nodded profusely. Rumi felt a little bad for scaring the young man but still made her way up the creaky staircase. The dark oak door was heavily stylized with detailed depictions of flowers and vines, something Rumo would've been more interested in had she not been in a hurry. She opened the door and was surprised to see how... Cozy Tsubaki's apartment was.

A coat rack stood tall in front of her with several different coats of different materials and lengths. Her walls were a honey brown color with pictures lining the walls. Rumi could see that many of them were Tsubaki with what she assumed was her family. Like the downstairs, plants were either hanging from the ceiling, in pots of various sizes, or wrapped around objects like vases and table lamps. To her left, was the kitchen with cabinets and a circular white table with chairs placed on the center edge.

Rumi walked in and saw that there were two doors next to the kitchen which she assumed she wasn't allowed in. She passed the corner of the apartment there held the couch and the flatscreen TV raised above the fireplace as she used her ears to listen for any noises. She went completely sit to make sure she could properly hear everything. Rumi could hear the panicked breathing and thudding heartbeat of Ichiro downstairs but otherwise nothing. The apartment was completely empty.

"If no one is here, why-"

That's when she noticed it. Carefully wrapped in saran wrap and on a white plate laid a small cake. It had a layer of white frosting spread across the top with little frosting carrots accompanying it. On top of a metal fork and knife, which had another plate under it, laid a folded piece of paper. Rumi lifted it up, unfolded it, then read it.

Knowing you, you probably didn't go and get something to eat after your meeting with the Commission, so I made you a little something. Hope you like it :) -Hanamori

Rumi tossed the note aside and ripped open the saran wrap. She plunged the knife into the cake and cut herself a slice. She plopped it onto the second plate and took a bite. She froze after her second chew.

It was a fucking carrot cake. A good one at that. Rumi almost melted at how moist it was. It had the perfect layering of frosting and cake with pecans baked into the middle. Rumi could also taste the mouth-watering pinch of vanilla extract added to the cake.

The carrot cake was gone and only a minute. Rumi wiped away the bits of crumbs and frosting with the back of her arm. Once again, she looked at the note. Tsubaki's added smile made her chest bubble with rage. She crumpled the note in her hand and raised her head towards the heavens.

"FUCK YOU, HANAMORI!"

Wings of Fire (A MHA Fanfic): The Charge

After my date with Katsuki, we meet several times afterwards in the classroom at lunch. To joke, to kiss, to cuddle, to listen to music, we pretty much do everything now. Until, the internships start.

"Kid, you good?" Hawks asks as I space out while we walk down the streets.

"Yeah, just thinking. I'm kinda nervous if you ask me. I've never seen a hero have so many fans besides All Might," I admit.

"Me too. I've never had someone takes so many pictures of me, it's odd," Tokoyami, my interning partner says shyly.

"Aw come on, you two were so confident fighting each other at the sports festival, I wanna see that fire in you again. In Aki's case, more literally," Hawks says.

I roll my eyes at his reference to my quirk.

"I know a good place we can stop by to make you loosen up," Hawks says.

Hawks flies ahead of us, heading towards our destination. Me and Tokoyami share a glance and follow him.

We end up on the rooftop of a restaurant blasting bachata.

"Of course you'd pick a latin restaurant," I say, rolling my eyes.

"What? Did you forget that you're Puerto Rican too?" Hawks suggests.

"You're Puerto Rican too?" I ask.

"Duh, you think your father would tolerate my ass if I didn't speak Spanish? Quien tu crees que soy? (who do you think i am?)" He says cooly.

"Whatever, bird brain," I say rolling my eyes.

"I've never had latin food before," Tokoyami says.

Me and Hawk's eyes widen.

"I know exactly what to get then," Hawks says with a soft smile.

"Arroz con pollo and tostones? (chicken and rice with tostones?)" I ask.

"With a couple pasteles," Hawks says.

"Mmm, sounds like Christmas," I say.

"I haven't had a Puerto Rican Christmas dinner in years. I usually get KFC," Hawks says.

"Of course you do, chicken is your favorite food," I scoff.

"Looks like you're learning a bit more about me. Makes sense since you're my assistant intern- mesera! (waitress!) " Hawks says, before calling our waitress.

The three of us chat about our culture, detailing it to Tokoyami.

"Anyways, the first day of training starts after this dinner. We have a modeling gig at 5 and an interview at 6:30," Hawks says.

"Modeling?" Me and Tokoyami ask.

"I'm a model, you chickens. Hero work isn't my only job, and with looks like mine, breaking your face open is something I'd like for you both to avoid. You both are hot shit for first years," Hawks explains.

Me and Tokoyami both blush as he compliments us.

"What are we modeling exactly?" I ask.

"It's gonna be a major magazine issue shoot. You two are both hot shot quirk users, so we're gonna be everywhere," Hawks says.

"But we're interns," Tokoyami says.

"Yeah, but you're my interns. And the world is thirsty for a scoop on my hot agency since I'm quite selective with who I choose," Hawks adds.

I raise and brow and chuckle to myself.

"I'm just your sister's sibling, what makes me so special?" I ask.

"You're Endeavor's daughter, you're powerful, you're rich, your name is well-known because of the sports festival, you have two quirks, and you're hot," Hawks details.

"I don't think you should be calling your girlfriend's sister hot," I chuckle.

"I'm being honest," Hawks says.

"What about me?" Tokoyami asks.

"On the other hand, you are more mysterious and agile, private and closed off. You only open up on the battlefield. Mystery is a powerful to reel in people. You have unlimited power on top of your quirk that way. And you're also hot," Hawks says.

"It makes sense. It's a balance between two people, one who is more known in one certain way, and the other known who is less known but known in another way," Tokoyami says.

"Exactly. My job is to show you how to open up not only to how much power you possess by having one side of the story but how to open up to your quirks. and how to manipulate them with what people know about you. To expect the unexpected," Hawks explains.

Before he can continue, a bunch of food is set in our table, it's delicious scents coating the air in gusto.

"Damn, that smells delicious," I say.

"You're both gonna eat all this food?" Tokoyami asks.

"We're latinos," We both say.

Me and Hawks both dig in to the food in front of us. We all eat a little of everything until more than half of it is gone.

"You sure didn't lie when you said it was good," Tokoyami says.

"I haven't been this full in ages," I say.

"What do they do at your house, make you starve?" Hawks asks.

"Honestly, I wish Fuyumi would cook more foods from our culture. I mean I would if she'd let me," I comment.

"Maybe when you invite your boyfriend over," Hawks suggests.

I put down my fork and blush softly. I grit my teeth and smack his arm. he winces, his wings curling behind him.

"Shut up about my boyfriend," I say.

"Oh? So he's your boyfriend now?" Hawks asks with wide eyes.

"You have a boyfriend at UA?" Tokoyami asks.

I immediately feel my face turn even hotter.

"Y-yes?" I say shyly.

"Damn, pop off then," Hawks says, taking a sip of his drink.

"I'm assuming it's Bakugo," Tokoyami thinks.

I turn to him with wide eyes.

"What? How the hell do you know?" I ask.

"You're always flirting with him in class through your little arguments," Tokoyami says.

My jaw drops to the floor and Hawks starts laughing.

"Y CUANDO ME IVAN DECIR TODO ESO?! (AND WHEN WERE YOU GONNA TELL ME ALL THIS?)" I shout in my mother tongue.

"Calmate (calm down), we were just joking. Besides, you're clearly a new couple so we won't be too much into your business. Well, while at work at least," Hawks says.

I slap his arm again at what he's suggesting and huff. For the relationship we have, it's still kinda odd that he's so protective of me.

Later, we head out and head towards Hawks agency. We are familiarly greeted by our co-workers as we walk through. We head towards one of the studio spaces and see people with a bunch of cameras and lighting, as well as a rack of clothing.

"You're late, bird boy," A familiar hero says.

In front of us stands the current number 6, Miruko, another hero that works closely with my father.

"I just flew in, Miruko. Cut me some slack, will you," Hawks says, striding towards the rabbit hero.

Miruko turns to see us and she recognizes me.

"Aki, right? Loved your performance at the Sports Festival, your dad must be proud," Miruko says.

"I wouldn't say he's too proud," I add.

"Oh please, I would be proud even after you survived that crazy explosion kid, baby carrot," Miruko says, patting my head.

"Who happens to be her boyfriend," Hawks blurts out.

I turn to Hawks with wide eyes, recalling what we just talked about.

"Want me to kick him for you?" Miruko asks.

"Please," I say through gritted teeth.

Miruko kicks him hardly with her famous legs in his side. Hawks grits his teeth to hide the pain.

"And who do we have here?" Miruko asks, noticing Tokoyami.

"This is Tokoyami, my partner and classmate," I say.

"Hello," Tokoyami says shyly.

"Thank god you're the opposite of what the other bird brain is. Don't worry about anything today, all you have to do is wear a suit and look hot for the camera," Miruko says.

"What do you mean by the opposite of-" Hawks starts.

Miruko kicks him again.

"Anyways, Aki can come with me since she has a lot more options to go through," Miruko says, taking my hand.

I follow her to a dressing room, where there is a rack full of different black gowns.

"Alright, I want you to go through all of these and see what you like, and then we'll go from there," Miruko says.

Immediately, my body gravitates towards the rack, I toss the distasteful designer dresses behind me. I pull three dresses.

"You like?" I ask, flaunting the three options.

"Damn, you know what you want, don't you? I like that," Miruko compliments.

I smile softly and Miruko leaves me alone to strip and try on the first dress. I walk out and Miruko smiles as she sees me.

"You look cute," Miruko says.

"I don't want to look cute. I wanna look older," I say sternly.

"Okay, I'm assuming the dress is a little too lose then," Miruko says.

"I'm trying to piss off my dad, since I already have by joining this damn agency. You know, just to stir the pot a little," I say with a smirk.

I walk back into the room and change into the second dress.

The dress is tight but not very flattering due to the way it flares out. I pop my head out of the door.

"This ones a no," I tell her.

"Damn, okay," Miruko says.

I go back in and change into the last dress.

I walk out of the room looking like a goddess.

"Damn, you look like a girl who just killed her own husband," Miruko says, admiring my figure.

"Alright, what's next?" I ask.

"Hair and makeup," Miruko says, leading me towards the department.

Miruko walks me over and sits me down in the chair. A team of people start to touch my face and hair, applying different kinds of product. I hum along to the music playing in the background that consists of a lot of 2000's RnB.

"So, baby carrot, how'd you get hooked up with Hawks?" Miruko asks.

"He's my sister's boyfriend," I say.

"Damn, he has a girlfriend already? He only broke up with me a month ago," Miruko says.

My eyes widen. This is Hawks' ex? And they're friends?

"Now, that's a shocker. Thanks for the info," I say with a smirk.

"You gonna blackmail him or something?" Miruko asks.

"Nah, just in case," I say.

"Well, if you need any help, I've got the details," Miruko adds.

I chuckle softly at her sudden interest in me blackmailing Hawks.

"He cares about you a lot already, I can tell," Miruko says.

"As an intern?" I ask.

"No, as someone he trusts. Frankly, your sister hasn't been spoken of much in this agency, all we've heard from the Todoroki's is about you and your father," Miruko says.

I raise a brow. Me?

"What are you implying?" I ask.

"This might be a stretch since you already have a boyfriend but, be careful around him. On the surface, he seems like a total womanizer who can snatch every woman in your family, but that's only because he has lots of secrets," Miruko says.

I smirk at the word "secrets" and she smiles.

"I can tell you're the type to uncover peoples secrets for yourself," Miruko says.

"It's an interest of mine since my family is so vague with their history," I say, rolling my eyes.

"Well guess what, he is too. But he's more on the protective side since he's a hero. He befriends you and then milks information out of you. You're not the type to do that, are you?" Miruko asks.

"No, I go with a practical approach. A slow burn if you will," I say.

"Fitting since you have flame quirk. personally, that's my favorite kind of manipulation. He's gonna be persistent with you when with you at work and when you're at home, trying to ask you about all these different things. What I'm saying is, he needs to calm his feathers, and if you want to protect yourself and give your sister the kind of relationship she deserves, the less he knows, the more he'll turn away from you and switch his sights to her," Miruko says.

"And why is this important?" I ask.

"So he can open up and give you any blackmail you need. Even him asking a single question can be useful if he strays away from her," Miruko says.

"You planning on using that tactic one day?" I ask.

"Sure, when the right girl to target comes around, he is one of my best friends, so I'm always keeping track of his dating life," Miruko says.

The stylists, finish up on me and I stand up from the chair. I walk into the main stage and feel Miruko eyes still on me.

The right target...she's probably talking about me. I'm assuming she wants me to work for her on the DL to collect blackmail to make him pay for their breakup. Ah, jealousy. The killer of all relationships. I brush the thought off immediately, I don't have time for that, I just got a new boyfriend, a new job, and so far I have my eyes peeled on Hawks to see if he does anything out of order that could hurt my sister.

When I step out onto the stage, Hawks and Tokoyami are getting their touch-ups done. They meet my glance and their eyes widen.

"Damn..." They both say at once.

I flip my hair over my shoulder and smile.

"You look so different," Tokoyami says, turning away to blush.

"You look so sexy, I might even say it's a bit too much," Hawks says, walking towards me nervously.

"That's the point, you idiots. I'm trying to piss off my dad by looking older than I am," I say.

"Ah, so you're trying to impress your dad?" Hawks asks.

"He thinks I'm not capable of holding my own ground. So this shoot and interview will prove him wrong," I say with a smirk.

Hawks smiles and pats my shoulder.

The three of us walk onto the main stage and take pictures in various poses. Some solo, some with me and Tokoyami some of me and Hawks and some as the trio. We got too the cameras and flip through the options. I stare at all of them, trying to decide which ones would make Dad and Shoto grit their teeth the hardest.

The three of us agree between the pictures and we head downstairs for our interview.

In mine, I give surface details of what my famous hero family is like and what mark I intend to leave in the agency, which is...to impress.

The next week after our shoot, the magazine is released with the cover we chose. Hawks didn't lie when he said it'd be everywhere. When I get to school, I spot many students with the issue.

"Love the dress, Aki!"

"You look so hot, Aki!" Students shout from across the hall.

"You some sort of celebrity now or something for being in that agency?" Shoto asks.

I pull the magazine out from my bag. I hand it to Shoto and he stares at the cover with wide eyes.

"That's you?" He asks.

"Clear as day. And if you flip to page 24, my interview is there," I say proudly.

"You look like a model," Shoto says.

"Because Hawks is also a model, not just a hero. I found that out yesterday over dinner," I add.

"You had dinner with him too?" Shoto asks.

I nod and take the issue back.

"Do you know how livid Dad is gonna be when he sees that?" Shoto reminds me.

"Yeah," I nod.

"Oh, so this was on purpose?" Shoto asks.

"You and him both agree that I can't be anything without him, but guess whose face is all over the city and whose name is coming out of every households mouth?" I ask.

"Yours," Shoto mutters.

"Right, and all he's doing is drilling you about your fire quirk and how weak you are, meanwhile Hawks is telling me exactly what I needed to hear all these years with Dad. To me, Hawks is more of a man then our father could ever be, and I know Dad would agree himself," I say honestly.

"Have you worked on your quirk at all though?" Shoto asks.

"He's been helping me and Tokoyami strengthen and develop special attacks. For example, my boomerang shards," I say.

Shoto sighs and we both continue to our classroom. As we walk in, I spot several of our classmates with the magazine issue. I walk towards my seat and my classmates acknowledge me.

"You looked really pretty, Aki," Uraraka compliments.

"Thank you," I say.

"I see you're not the only one whose modeling," Momo says.

"I heard about your commercial gig from Sho, congratulations!" I say with a smile.

"Thank you, I hope we can do a joint shoot with Hawks's agency one day," Momo says.

"I'll let him know. I'm his interning assistant, so I manage all of his accounts," I comment.

"That's convenient," Momo says with a giggle.

"She looks so sexy!" Mineta says, drooling over the magazine.

"It's almost like the real thing," Kaminari says beside him.

Me and Momo both roll our eyes.

Bakugo walks over with his own issue and smacks them both over the head.

"Fucking pervs," He growls.

They both scutter back in fright. He peeks a glance towards me and I wink in his direction. He smirks back at me.

"By the way, what's up with you and him? " Momo asks.

I debate in my head whether or not I should tell her about Katsuki. I lower her ear to my mouth and whisper,

"He's my new boyfriend."

Momo 's eyes widen and she smiles widely.

"I knew it! I knew you liked him. When are you gonna tell the others?" Momo asks.

"Not sure," I say.

We both head to our seats as the bell rings. Me and Momo continue our conversation even when Aizawa-sensei enters.

"You went on a date with him?" She whispers lowly.

I nod.

"How did you-"

"Ladies in the back, care to share to the class what you're talking about that seems so important?" Aizawa asks, calling us out.

Momo and I tense up.

"Since midterms are coming up, I was telling her...that I was planning a study session at my house for it. And that I would need her help since she's another student with a high GPA," Momo makes up.

"Thanks, Momo," Sero says with a smile.

"That would help a lot," Tsu says.

"Fine, there's only a week until exams. You're all prepared right?"Aizawa asks.

"yes!" We all say.

"That's all then," Aizawa says, returning to his sleeping bag.

"In that case, I have to tell mother to open up the hall! What kind of tea are you all partial to? Of course you can trust me to help you all study!" Momo says, running along with the idea.

Looks like I'm helping her plan a study party.

"Her bounciness is so cute, I really don't care," Mina says in awe of her excitement.

"I was hoping me and you could study together at my place," Katsuki whispers in my ear.

"With you, I wouldn't get much studying done at all," I scoff.

"I mean we're both already pretty smart, so why not?" Katsuki asks.

"As much as I'd love to help you 'study', she's my best friend, I have to support her," I say.

Katsuki's smile fades and he tsks.

"But maybe at lunch I could...make it up to you," I say seductively.

Katsuki turns back to face me with wide eyes.

"I'm kidding, you nasty bitch," I say in my regular tone.

"Shut up, dumbass," Katsuki says, starting to blush as usual.

I giggle softly at his antics.

Later at lunch, I realize that I'm the first one to show up.

I start to munch on my chips and wait for Katsuki. Soon, he shows up with boxes of pocky in his hand.

"Hey, babe," Katsuki says.

"Hi," I say sweetly, leaving a kiss on his lips.

"I got snacks," Katsuki says, putting down the boxes of pocky.

"Good, I'll save them for Mmo's study party," I say.

"You really going to that?" Katsuki says, staring down at me.

"Of course, you and I both know that being alone in a room together is dangerous," I say.

Katsuki wraps his arm around my waist, pulling my closer to him.

"You cheeky girl," Katsuki nods.

I giggle softly at his remarks.

Katsuki turns and grabs and package of pocky.

"Are you gonna do what I think you are?" I ask him as he opens the package.

"You said you'd make it up to me, and my mom always taught me that food is the best way to a woman's heart," Katsuki says.

"You mean your crazy old mother that you complain on and on about?" I ask jokingly.

"Whatever," Katsuki says, sticking a pocky stick between his teeth.

I stick the other half in my mouth and stare a him.

We both laugh at our eye contact.

"Stop moving," Katsuki says, starting to bite down the stick.

I also start biting down the stick, our lips coming closer and closer as we both taste the chocolate flavor.

Before our lips meet the stick snaps in half and the door opens.

We both turn quickly and see Kirishima at the door with Mina behind him. The four of us stare at each other dumbfoundedly.

"Uh-are we interrupting something?" Kirishima asks.

Me and Katsuki step away from each other and blush softly.

"You idiot, they're obviously making out, look at all these boxes of pocky," Mina scoffs.

"What? No!" Me and Katsuki say at once.

"Um, we saw Bakugo come in here and we wanted to check on him...but I guess he's fine," Kirishima says nervously.

"We're gonna go," Mina says pulling Kirishima back, they close the door and we can hear them laughing in the hallway.

"Damn it," Katsuki scoffs.

I place my hand on his shoulder to cool him down.

"It's okay. You don't have to explain anything, but if you're comfortable, I'll say something to them tonight at Momo's," I suggest.

"Me and Kiri are studying together," Katsuki mutters.

"Then you tell him p[ersonally, he'll understand since you two are close," I suggest.

"Fuck. Why now? Damn idiots," Katsuki growls under his breath.

"Hey, we'll figure it out. Besides, a couple people know already," I blurt out.

My eyes widen I realize what I've said.

"Who knows?" Katsuki asks me in a serious tone.

"My siblings. Momo. Tokoyami. My boss slash sister's boyfriend and now two of our best friends," I say.

"What the hell, Aki? Even your boss knows?" Katsuki asks.

"He walked in our call that one night...well more like flew in," I explain.

"Who've you told?" I ask.

"Just my parents...and All Might," Katsuki says.

"ALL MIGHT? How could you tell him? He knows my father! They're rivals, Katsuki. If my Dad finds out, he'll kill you," I say, panicking.

"Like you said, we'll figure it out! I just can't believe you told so many people about me. It's kinda hot but wrong at the same time," Katsuki says, assuring me.

"I- I wasn't expecting you to say that. I just wanted to-"

"Tell people how good I am to you?" He assumes, finishing my sentence.

"Maybe," I say shyly.

"Then it's fine, just don't lie, dumbass," He says, pecking my cheek as the bell rings.

"Fine," I say, giving in.

"Good luck with the idiots, call me if you need anything," Katsuki says.

"Okay," I say.

We both head out the door and head our separate ways.

I see Mina, Sero, Oijiro, Jiro, Tsu and Kaminari waiting for me at the gate of Momo's manor

"You sure took long," Mina teases.

"Shut up, Mina," I say.

"I knew this girl was rich but I didn't think she was this rich," Sero says.

"yeah," Oijiro agrees.

"You should see my house then," I scoff.

Everyone except Mina stares at me like I have two heads. Mina is about to press the call button before Momo's voice appears.

'I've been waiting for you guys, come on in!"  Momo says, the gate opening slowly.

The group is mesmerized by the gate open and I stride in, not phased by the manor.

"How are you so calm?" Kaminari asks.

"My house is bigger," I say.

"WHAT?" The group says.

"Come on, you idiots," I say.

Momo waits for us at her door and I race up to her.

"Hi, mi amiga (my friend)," I say, kissing her on both cheeks.

"I'm so glad you all came! Come inside, please," Momo says with a smile.

We all head inside and take off our shoes.

"You could eat off the damn floor in this house," Sero says.

"As if your mother would let you pull that shit," I scoff.

"Tienes razon (you have a point)," sero says, continuing to look around.

"Your house is beautiful, Momo," Tsu compliments honestly.

"Thank you! We moved here a couple years ago, before, we used to live near the Todorokis," Momo says.

"You did?" I ask.

"Yeah, now that house goes for 15 million yen," Momo says.

"15 MILLION YEN?!" The group exclaims.

"Did I lie?" I ask them.

They shake their heads 'no' and I chuckle softly.

"Come on, I brewed some tea for you guys in the hall," Momo says.

"How nice, you have a banquet hall. Dad converted ours into his training space, you know, traditional hero fathers," I comment.

"Of course we do! We have important guests over all the time for negotiations, balls, and even my birthday parties," Momo adds.

"You must celebrate one hell of a birthday then," Jiro comments.

"It's usually the same every year," Momo says.

"Then why don't we throw you a birthday party after summer break?" Mina suggests.

Momo's eyes light up at the sound of that.

"Yes! Of course!" Momo says with a smile.

We all sit down at the long table and she brings us our tea. I serve myself a cup and sigh at the taste.

"Oolong, right?" I ask Momo.

"I thought it'd be a good choice," Momo says nervously.

We all start to pull out our books and cover the different topics. English, Algebra, Quirk Studies, Traditional Japanese, everything.

We end at 7 where all of us our wiped out from stressing topics and details.

"You know, Aki, I'm surprised you're even here, since you spend so much time with Kacchan-kun," Kaminari comment.

"Yeah, what's up with you two?" Jiro asks.

"It's obvious they're dating," Mina scoffs.

I blush softly and take a breath.

"We've been seeing each other since the first week of school," I admit.

"You have?" Oijiro asks.

"Yeah, in the abandoned classroom on the second floor," I admit.

"And you just started dating?" Jiro asks.

"Yeah," I say.

"Damn, then you must've held back your emotions for a while, it was so obvious from the first day," Mina admits.

"I agree, it was very obvious," Momo agrees with Mina.

"We tried to keep it on the low before actually committing. At first it was just flirting...but then it got personal. Anyways, I really like him and I don't want this to ruin any of our friendships," I say shyly.

"Aw, of course not! We support you, even if he is a bit brash-" Momo says.

"And rude," Oijiro continues.

"And has a huge ego," Jiro continues.

"And he's really mean," Kaminari finally says.

"Honestly, he's a chill guy," Sero says.

They all stare at him like he's crazy.

"I've hung out with him before. He's got a good music taste, he's smart, he's honest with his opinions, sometimes a little too honest, and he sticks around like any other friends would when your a bit down. He's good in his own way," Sero explains.

"I mean he is the one who invites us over," Kaminari starts to agree.

"Exactly, he's different than what you all think. Just give it time," I say.

"I don't know, his attitude is quite permanent," Tsu reasons.

"Sure, he has that grittiness. It's only because he's protective of his emotions," I explain.

"I can vouch for that," Sero agrees.

"At least with you around, he won't be as...explosive," Mina says, with a pun.

We all laugh at the pun.

"I'm glad you're willing to support me with this," I say with a soft smile.

"Of course, you're one of our best friends. We wouldn't be a group without you," Momo says kindly.

I smile to myself as they continue to converse. I hope Katsuki and Kirishima are doing okay.

Sooner than later, midterms arrive and we take the written exams in class, I remember everything me and Momo studied with the group at her house. At the physical examination, we are paired up with another classmates to face our "villains", which end up being Aizawa and....

"Principal Nezu?!" The class exclaims.

"What's the mole doing here?" I ask.

"I'm one of the examiners for this years exam, considering the circumstances at USJ. We decided to change our tactics instead of the usual robots," Principal Nezu says before we are escorted through the rules.

I'm paired up with Kirishima, another good offensive and defensive user like myself.

Me and Kirishima scour the gym's city-like setting, trying to pick up any sounds or actions from our target.

"You picking up on anything?" Kirishima asks.

"I can hear them through the ground on the other side. So far we don't have anything to fear," I say.

"How can you hear through the ground?" Kirishima asks as I stand upright.

"My dad taught me to subconsciously listen to people's steps. You could hear it's pace, step and direction if you feel and hear the vibrations of the ground. The contact of my ice to the ground helps hear, because ice is made by water, and water contains sound," I explain.

"That's so-"

"Manly?" I ask, finishing his sentence.

"How did you know?" Kirishima asks.

"You say that every two seconds, Kiri. Everytime you do, Katsuki tries to yell at you," I say, explaining my rational.

"You count every time he yells?" Kirishima asks.

"To you, it's about 240. Me it's about 110," I say, recalling the statistics.

"How do you get yelled at less?" Kirishima asks.

"Because I'm his type of tolerable. You're a little more optimistic than I am, so it only makes sense," I explain.

"I guess you're right," Kirishima says shyly, scratching the back of his neck.

"They say if we pass our midterm, there's a training camp we can go to," I recall.

"Everyone's talking about it," Kirishima comments.

"Wouldn't kind of be like a 'summer retreat'?" I ask.

'I guess, I mean it is is a camp in the mountains," Kirishima says.

I hear rumbling underneath my feet. It's pace is a bit slower than Nezu's from what I've seen.

"Heads up, Kiri," I say.

"What?" Kirishima says.

I watch as he is tied in a familiar gray scarf.

"At least one of you has good senses," Aizawa says, his eyes glowing red from his quirk being used.

"Naturally, Aizawa," I say with a smirk.

"You get 4 points just for that alone, good job," Aizawa says.

"It's whatever," I scoff.

Aizawa lets go of Kirishima and he falls to the ground.

"Damn, his grip is strong," Kirishima says.

"Keep your guard up, idiot, or you'll fail," I scoff, hitting him playfully.

"You're starting to sound a bit like Bakugo," Kirishima comments.

"Oh shut up. Let's move on," I say, moving forward.

Suddenly, I hear screaming from inside one of the buildings and I use my ice to push me towards the window where the sound comes from.

"I didn't know you could fly," Kirishima exclaims.

"In a way, I can. Hawks taught me how," I explain.

Kirishima lands behind me and we spot a small girl in a corner with major wounds.

"We have to bring her down," I say.

"Please, no! It hurts and I'm cold," The girl says.

"It's alright, honey. I have a fire quirk too, I'll be like your personal heater," I say, demonstrating my flames to coo the girl.

"That's so cool!" The girl says with wide eyes.

"I know! When I pick you up, the heat will rush through your body instantly and the pain will subside a little, making it easier for me to bring you down, okay?" I explain.

The girl nods and I lightly activate my fire quirk and she nuzzles up to my chest when I pick her up.

"I need to go down and catch my fall," I say to Kirishima.

"What?" Kirishima asks.

"I got my hands full, you can help me out with this," I say.

Kirishima nods and jumps down. I spot him with his arms out and me and the girl fall. We both land in his arms, unharmed.

I keep the girl in my arms.

"You okay?" I ask.

"25 points for sportsmanship, heroism, confidence, and strategy," The girl says to me.

"Thank you, honey," I say softly.

I put the girl down and she glares at Kirishima. He stares up at me nervously.

"Rescue is very important, strong man. 5 points for helping her out and taking orders," The girl yells.

"You're both done, you can head back to the entrance now," The girl says, starting to walk away.

I laugh at Kirishima's confused expression after being yelled at by a minor.

"That wasn't very manly!" Kirishima exclaims, starting to blush.

Me and Kirishima start to walk back to the entrance and we spot Bakugo and Midoriya together, Bakugo's explosions filling the air.

"That's one manly man, huh?" Kirishima asks me.

"He's my boyfriend, no shit," I scoff.

Kirishima smiles at my response.

"He seems a lot more focused since your date. It's like he's more driven than ever, you know?" Kirishima comments.

"It's because he's got me in his corner," I explain.

I fucking love your rant on the horrible planning of the heroes. Wtf is that? Hawks gave the HC everything on a bloody silver platter, took one for the team and killed one of the biggest threats at the loss of his wings only to have everyone else fuck it up due to terrible tactics. I'm mad that I didn't get to see Edgeshot go off or that neither Todoroki were at the mansion because oh-Dabi-secret-gotta-keep or whatever. Ugh.

IF DABI ISN’T A TODOROKI, WTF WAS THE POINT OF KEEPING ENDEAVOR AWAY? I CANNOT understand NOT putting Endeavor in a place where a LETHAL ICE USER IS OBVIOUSLY GOING TO RUN RAMPANT. Endeavor’s place at the hospital is so incredibly uneventful that I can’t see any reason he was there except Todoroki-avoidance. His Number 1 Hero title shouldn’t have been a deciding factor ether. If it was, that’s fucking dumb. Going by prestige first and not quirk-compatibility is STOOPID

I’ve blocked Hawks’ number this week bc I forgot how butt hurt I was about Twice but later, Ima tell him how sorry I am that he carried the entire fucking hero society on his back for months, had to kill 1 of the 2 friends he’s ever had, got curb-stomped 20 times, got 8th degree burns, YES PROBABLY LOST HIS WINGS, dropped on his head like a baby—FOR WHAT? 

What would’ve been really FUCKING cool was if the HC had planned a counter attack team for Dabi, and the moment everyone saw big ass blue flames burning up this building, said attack team coulda jumped in and saved Hawks from becoming Japan’s Next Top Burn Ward Resident by doing something useful and TAKING ON ONE OF THE MOST DANGEROUS PLF ASSETS RIGHT THEN AND THERE. The Tokoyami rescue scene was nice but... very cheap imo
