TWO SIDES OF THE SAME COIN— matt and chris sturniolo x reader
synopsis— you and your friends decide to play a dirty drinking game. but with matt on your left, and chris on your right, how will you ever be able to decide who you want more?
warnings— suggestive themes, drinking, brief suggestive moment with waylon felipe (that man is FIIIIINE) use of a dirty scenario card game, ysb tril and brandon (gwhip) are in this but there’s not really anything suggestive with them (even tho they’re FIIIINE and underrated as fuck), basically the most ooc dumb shit ever, just use your utmost imagination pls lmao
foreword— i got this idea from a card game i own. it’s called kinkies get legless if anyone would like to know. voila!
༶•┈┈୨♡୧┈┈•༶
why, on god’s green earth, did you agree to this? you knew exactly what you signed up for when nate had organised a party— nothing big, just all your close friends— and revealed a card game for everyone to play.
“if anyone wants to back out now, this is your only chance.” nate chuckled when nick and madi both stepped back. he’d already explained the card game to everyone:
complete the dare written on the card, or skip the dare and take a shot. straightforward, until he gave an example of said cards.
“choose which person in the group you’re most likely to have a wet dream over.”
you laughed, but deep down you knew this was not going to end well.
after all, you were sat between matt and chris. you were close friends with the triplet brothers, but you would be lying if you said you didn’t harbour a crush for the two you were currently sandwiched in between. you’d already admitted these feelings to madi, who gave you the sound advice to choose one.
but it wasn’t that easy, was it? they were both so… great, and yet so different at the same time.
maybe you could use this opportunity to decide.
as it stood, matt was on your left, chris on your right, and waylon, another good friend of yours, directly opposite you.
nate, being the host and also the orchestrator of this hellish game, pulled a card first, and read out loud.
“give the player of the person on your left a lap dance? hell yeah!” nate exclaimed, standing from his seat and giving trilly the most dramatic lap dance of his life. everyone laughed at this, knowing nate would most likely do all of his dares.
before you knew it, it was coming up to your turn. but first, chris had to pull a card.
you prayed to every god you knew that he didn’t pull a card that involved you.
“oh my god, this game is crazy.” chris laughed, before reading out his card, “act out the doggy style position with the person to your left.”
you could die of embarrassment. this was truly a terrible, no good, awful idea. why did you agree to this?
the room was filled with ooh’s and aah’s, waiting to see if chris would take a shot instead of doing the dare. he glanced over at you, as if to say you could choose.
you shrugged nonchalantly, despite the fact you were screaming inside.
“come on, let’s get this over with.” he motioned you over with his hand, and you hesitantly stood.
you felt chris behind you, his hands moving to your waist as he pushed his hips up to yours, though he didn’t move.
immediately you laughed, and everyone else followed.
“this is literally the dumbest thing you’ve ever suggested, nate.” you shouted through everyone’s laughter.
“agreed.” chris sat back down, but not before placing a pillow over his lap.
“but it’s so funny!” nate replied.
it may have been funny, but that didn’t stop you from thinking about chris’ hips pressed up to your ass. you almost wished he moved.
regardless, it was your turn to pull a card.
“choose three… okay, what the fuck.” you covered your mouth, giggling.
“let me see,” matt leaned over to read the card and pulled a face, “choose three players you’d make a sex tape with.”
how could you even begin to answer that? why did you agree to this?
you weren’t going to skip the card, you didn’t want to be the first to do it. so you’d have to answer. and lie.
“i guess if i had to pick, i’d say tril, waylon aaaaaand… this is hard actually…. brandon.” you spoke.
the three boys dapped each other up, which made you chuckle.
“don’t get too excited, it’s never gonna happen.” you teased.
“i guess it’s my turn,” matt piped up, grabbing a card from the deck.
“oh this one’s easy, it says confess the least sexy thing someone has said to you. one time a girl asked me if she could call me nick while we were, you know…” he clicked his mouth and whistled.
“wait, what the fuck?” nick perked up from the other side of the room.
chris cackled loudly, “shit, i remember that. you told me not to tell him.”
“well, did you let her do it?” tril asked jokingly.
“that’s fucking gross! i swear to god matt you better have said no.” nick yelled, which only made chris laugh more.
“obviously i said no, you moron.”
by now, the deck of cards had gone around the room a couple of times.
waylon pulled the card, let the person opposite you sit on your face which you accepted gracefully after successfully sneaking yourself a couple of shots.
at some point you pulled the choose the players you’d most likely have a threesome with card which you chose matt and chris immediately took a shot.
nate had rank the asses of the players from best to worst, and while chris was number one, you were satisfied with your ranking at third— he placed himself second.
already it was back to chris.
“i actually don’t think i can do this one.” chris covered his eyes.
“what does it say?” you asked. you wished you didn’t.
he turned the card over to you. it read, whisper the dirtiest thing you’d do to the player on your left.
“chris, don’t be a pussy, you already skipped the last one.” nate raised his eyebrows.
“dude, i don’t care how close we are, i’m not passing you an ice cube from my mouth.” chris spoke incredulously, which made everyone chuckle, though you were too busy wondering what chris would even say to you.
“new rule, if you skipped your last card you can’t skip the next one.” nate shouted, to which chris flipped him off.
“you good with this?” chris turned to you.
“sure. it’s just a game right?” you pretended to be unfazed.
chris leaned into your ear, as everyone watched.
“if we were alone right now, i’d fill you up so deep that you’d forget how to talk.”
oh.
“what did he say– oh my god, y/n’s face has gone red!”
oh.
“damn chris, you’re looking kinda red too.”
oh.
“okay move on, please.” chris laughed it off.
but you wanted to do anything but move on, partly because you were sweating— is it hot in here?— and partly because it was your turn again.
let the person to your left give you a love bite.
you weren’t sure you could handle this game anymore. you were barely over the words chris had whispered to you, and now you were supposed to let matt give you a hickey?
and to make things worse, because of the new rule (thanks a lot, nate) you couldn’t skip your turn.
“this game is getting intense, i can’t lie.” waylon mumbled to brandon, who agreed with him excitedly.
“sorry matt, i can’t skip.” you said awkwardly.
matt quickly downed a shot, before replying, “don’t worry about it.” and moved his lips to your collarbone.
he made quick work of sucking on your skin while embarrassment waved over you.
there were a million thoughts running through your head at once but the one that stood out most was how good it felt to have matt leaving a trace of his lips on your body. you were acutely aware of the slight pain mixed with the considerable amount of pleasure that came with his bite.
after what seemed like way too long, he soothed your collarbone with a lick and parted ways with it.
“i didn’t know matt had that dog in him.” tril joked.
briefly, everyone had split into their own conversations, leaving you to your own chaotic thoughts.
but matt placed a hand on your thigh.
“you okay?” he asked you, and of course you were not.
“mhm. just didn’t think this game would be so insane.”
matt smirked ever so slightly.
“me neither. are you having fun, at least?”
“yeah, it’s pretty entertaining. are you?” you responded honestly.
matt’s thumb softly caressed your thigh while the rest of his hand squeezed lightly.
“definitely.”
how could you be expected to choose?
yet another around had gone by and it was regrettably your turn to pick a card.
you slowly picked up the card on top of the deck and read the words.
“what does it say?” matt and chris spoke in unison.
you cleared your throat, looking between the two boys on either side, then at everyone else eagerly waiting.
“go into another room with the player of your choice for ten minutes.” you sighed.
“i was hoping someone would get that card. who are you picking, y/n?” nate asked you.
you should skip this round. you should definitely skip this round. but something was telling you that this was your opportunity to finally choose which brother you wanted, just like madi told you.
the choice was too difficult.
but if you were honest, you knew who you really wanted.
so, you went with your gut.
“i pick…”

better than letting go | nagi seishiro x reader
✩ accidental sugar daddy nagi ✩ pro-player!nagi, roommates au, angst to fluff, heavy pining, miscommunication
Tumblr media
"just go live with nagi," reo says offhandedly, "if you clean up after him, he'll let you stay there forever."
you open your mouth to refute the suggestion, because reo knows how you feel about nagi, knows you couldn't possibly stay in an enclosed space with him hours on day on end without jumping him... but before you do, nagi himself interrupts.
"i'm okay with that," he replies in his usual laid-back voice.
you glare at him because you think he sounds more excited about the cleaning part.
"you're going to be homeless," reo shrugs, "why not?"
you return your glare at reo, "why can't you just house me in one of your billion-dollar properties."
"then i'd have to ask my old man for permission," he waves you off like the asshole he is, "no thanks."
"what's wrong with living with me?" nagi wonders, and you hate him for acting like he wants to live with you so badly.
"look, just clean nagi's dirty underwear for the next year while you finish your degree and you won't have to worry about a thing," reo explains, as if there aren't other factors like your five-year infatuation with nagi, and maybe the fact that nagi lives like he doesn't know what a vacuum does.
you sigh, thinking about the end of your lease and the astronomical increase in rent incoming, and how much you don't want to work your stupid part-time job, and give in.
of course it's not that bad. all you had to do was keep your feelings to yourself.
Tumblr media
"nagi," you hiss, "nagi, wake up, you're going to be late!"
he only stirs, covers tucked under his chin, as if he's hiding from you. you inch the door wider, stepping into his room hesitantly. he doesn't even make a move.
"nagi," you whine, crouching at the side of his bed.
he makes a sound of acknowledgment but keeps his eyes closed, so you sit cross-legged on the floor, watching his sleeping form. he's so cute like this, you think, yearning.
it's been a week since you moved in with nagi. in a lot of ways, he's exactly what you thought he would be like in private: he's rarely home, and when he is, he's quiet.
you thought he would spend more time in his room, under the covers, but you realize quickly he's furnished his couch with the coziest throw and likes to curl under there when he is home.
it makes your heart warm when you come home to see nagi, his toes sticking out from underneath the blanket, waiting for you to eat dinner.
"...what time is it?" you hear him mumble.
your heart skips a beat when he opens his eyes, groggy with sleep, and touches your arm. you sigh shakily.
"too late," you smile softly at him, "i'll prep your pre-workout so you can take it with you, okay?"
"thanks," he tells you, his voice raspy.
he smiles back at you and reaches out, poking you in the forehead. when you feel his fingers touch your skin, you think you'll drop dead right there.
Tumblr media
"are you gonna move out after you graduate?" reo asks, nine months into your arrangement.
you've been avoiding even thinking about it. you're busy with graduation, you justify to yourself, you don't have time to look for a new place yet.
"hm?" you hum innocently, "i dunno. haven't had time to think about it."
"nagi asked me 'bout it," he mentions casually, and you freeze. is he counting the days down until you leave?
you and nagi have settled into a daily routine: you wake him up, he goes to practice, you study after class, and when he comes back late at night, he hangs out with you for an hour before he has to sleep. mostly, you and nagi sit on either end of the couch, sharing the cozy throw, and read manga.
it's lulled you into a false sense of security, you think.
"oh," is all you manage to say. maybe he finds you bothersome? maybe he wants his own space back?
reo hits you over the head, lightly. "what's that face for? it's been going good living with nagi, right?"
and it was. it was everything you had dreamed of, and it shocked you how well you got along with nagi. you think of how, in early mornings when both of you (mostly you) are rushing out the door, bumping hips in the kitchen, even then it seems like you were working together.
"yep," you reply, sipping your iced coffee, "too good."
reo takes a bite of his food, and suggests, "maybe you two should just keep living together. you can split rent or something."
"can't rely on nagi forever," you protest.
"why not?" he says, just like he did when he had first suggested this whole thing, "isn't that what you want?"
you kick him under the table, angry that he was bringing your feelings up now. yes, you want to scream, it is. but nothing has changed between you and nagi, nothing at all.
you're always trying to keep your feelings in check: when he peers over your shoulder as you're cooking, the warmth of his body hot asgainst yours. or how adorable he looks when he comes out of the shower, his shaggy hair falling over his eyes, his face shiny. those are the times your feelings want to burst.
"just talk to nagi about it," reo nudges. you're not sure if he's talking about the housing or the feelings.
Tumblr media
you're curled up with nagi on the couch when you muster the courage to say anything. your legs are touching his under the blanket, and you feel as if that might connect you to him.
there's a month left until you graduate, which is absolutely not enough time for you to find a place to live, but you were scared. you hear the victory sounds of nagi's mobile game, so you decide now's better than never.
"so," you start, and his gaze drifts over to you, "i haven't really found a new place to live yet."
it's quiet. "s'okay," nagi mumbles, not even looking up from his phone, "you can move out whenever."
well, at least that answers your question on whether or not he wants you to move out. at least he wasn't pushing you out the door, you tell yourself.
you don't know what else to say. do you want me to leave so badly? you want to ask. can't i stay with you? you think, desperate. but those words don't leave your mouth.
"are you coming to my graduation?" you ask lightly, and regret it when you realize that you've opened yourself up again.
he shrugs. "dunno my prac schedule yet, but reo's going right?" he replies, as if reo could replace him.
you feel cold despite the blanket, and sink deeper into the couch, feeling drained. from the corner of your eye, you see nagi tapping away at his phone, signaling to you that he's still deep in his game. you take your legs away, knowing he wouldn't even notice.
"yep," you say and awkwardly crawl out of your warm spot on the couch. "i'm gonna go to bed first, nagi."
"g'night," he replies, finally looking up as you pass him with your head bowed. he watches you walk back to your room, and doesn't take his eyes off of you until you close the door behind you.
Tumblr media
you eventually begged reo to find you an empty unit in one of his father's rental properties.
he had been insistent you just talk to nagi, as if he knew something you didn't, but you had to explain that you did, and nagi had no objections to you moving out, and you weren't going to wait until he shoved you out the door to move on.
it has been so awkward since that small conversation you'd had with nagi. maybe it was you, feeling out of place, like you had reached a point of no return.
waking him up in the mornings were now rushed, gently pushing him awake and scurrying off before he was fully awake. leaving his pre-workout on the counter instead of handing it to him. sitting at the kitchen table under the guise of studying instead of curling up on the couch with him.
it's not that he'd changed, you knew, it's that you couldn't keep playing pretend with your feelings anymore.
you hear the front door click as nagi walks into the apartment.
"hey," he says, pushing open the door to your room, "i'm home."
you turn from your position at the front of your closet, where you were just about to take out your suitcase. "oh, hey," you reply lamely, "welcome home."
he hovers, something he's never really done, as if he knows you have something to say, as if he had something to say. the words were stuck in your throat.
"reo told me you're moving out," nagi finally tells you.
traitor, you curse at reo. "uh, yeah," you smile tightly, "i didn't want to keep bothering you, so..."
"you're not bothering me," he replies, maybe a little too quickly, but you don't notice.
there's another silence. what else can you say?
"you don't have to leave," nagi continues, "i don't mind if you stay here."
but do you want me to stay? you want to ask. the way he says it so casually, as if it didn't matter whether you stayed or not, only solidified your decision to be away from him. at least then you could just be his friend without delusions of sharing a life with him so intimately.
"nah," you try to keep your voice steady, "it's probably better this way."
"i like living with you, though," nagi shuffles his hair uncomfortably as he says it.
you laugh, maybe a little bitterly, "because i cook and clean for you?"
"no," he says quickly, looking flustered, "no, i just like it when you're here."
but why? you want to scream. your heart pounds, because you feel like you're close to something, but at the same time it feels so far. sometimes you're convinced that he knows about your feelings, that sometimes you two are talking about them even though the topic is unrelated.
"it was nice," you settle on saying, as if it wasn't life changing, "but i can afford living on my own now."
"i don't want you to leave," nagi almost sounds like he's whining, and your heart skips another beat.
"why not?" you say, frustrated, breathless, "we can't just keep living together forever."
"what if i want to?" he says, and you feel like the conversation has become out of control.
your mind is racing. what is happening right now, you try to breathe through your nose. what is he talking about right now, you try to ask yourself.
"nagi—" you stop yourself, trying to get a grip, "what are you saying?"
you're looking at him now and you're surprised by the determination in his eyes. it's what he looks like when he's really focused, like he is when he plays soccer.
"i want to live with you forever," he declares, sounding defiant, as if that wasn't what you wanted.
but you're not sure what it means. you only know that five years is a long time to be holding onto your feelings.
"i don't understand," you mumble, staring at the floor, quieter than before, "i love you, nagi. not as a friend. so no, i can't just live with you forever."
you feel him before you see him, his body towering over you. when you look up, he's pouting. he puts his hand on top of your head, gentle, warm.
"why do you look so sad," he wonders, as if he hadn't heard what you just said, "that's why i want to live with you forever, dummy."
Tumblr media
you wake up to nagi wrapped around you.
"sei," you groan, turning in his arms to look at his sleeping face, "you're heavy."
he mutters, groggy, incoherent, and you can't help but press a kiss to his nose. his hair is falling all over his face, but your eyes memorize every slope. he squeezes you harder.
"why are you awake so early," he mutters, nudging your chest with his head, "it's my day off."
you soothe your hand down his bare back, feeling the tight muscles underneath your fingers. he works so hard, and his days off are so rare. you wiggle some more, to loosen his arms.
"i know," you smile, "but let me go make breakfast, kay? i'm hungry."
he shakes his head and whines. "no," he refuses, "just go back to sleep."
you relax, unable to tell him no. mornings with nagi often go like this, except that you usually have enough self-control to get him up. but sometimes, you remember what it was like wanting him so bad, that now you remind yourself to enjoy it.
as a partner, nagi is clingy, vulnerable. but he's also determined, and sometimes, the intensity with which he wants you catches you off guard.
"y/n," he calls, his breath hot against your neck, "i'm happy you're here."
you close your eyes, nodding. "me, too."

Hi hi hope I'm not too late to request something. If I am feel free to just delete this
Anyway can I ask for headcannons with a gender neutral reader with Sebek, Vil, Idia, and Leona with a s/o who loves to use cheesy pick up lines on them after they've started dating? Like they're already dating and their partner comes up to them like "Do you have a name or can I just call you mine" lol
Idia Shroud:
Some cheesy lines just get Idia to roll his eyes, knowing you’re purposely trying to get a reaction out of him, but some do manage to get exactly what you want. Hearing a genuine declaration of love, a confirmation that your souls are tired, and you compared him to an angel (your angel, specifically), he can feel the heat rising in his cheeks. He normally spiraled from embarrassment after, trying to hide the pink tips of his hair before you waved the victory flag right in his face, rejecting the fact that such normie pick-up lines could be super effective on someone like him.
Leona Kingscholar:
Leona wants to know what he did to you to subject him to the horror of pick-up lines when you already had to get through the hurdles all couples had at the beginning of a relationship. He could be surprisingly smooth himself when he wanted to, delivering the lines straight back at you as if it were a competition. He wanted to out-woo you and if that didn’t work; he wasn’t above fighting dirty. He knew the exact glint you got in your eyes when you were about to drop a new line and he acted first, smothering your lips with his own to successfully wipe your mind of anything but responding to his touch.
Sebek Zigvolt:
You have a 50/50 chance of it going right over Sebek’s head, or it piercing his heart like an arrow when he fully understood the meaning of your honeyed words. Pick-up lines weren’t effective for wooing him but they did provide you with a source of entertainment, especially when Sebek responded with genuine concern as to what must be wrong with your eyesight or if you had really injured yourself looking for him. He seemed a little frazzled when you stated you were just flirting with him, wondering why you felt the need to steal his heart when he had already offered it to you without pretense.
Vil Schoenheit:
Vil would show respect for a well-crafted yet still cheesy pick-up line, as long as it met his expectations. He judged based on word choice and confidence in your delivery, giving you a rating for each line in hopes of you finding a line to truly sweep him off his feet. He is still hopelessly endeared by your silly behavior, his heart nearly skipping a beat when you explained your reasoning for this to him. People were naturally too intimidated by Vil to flirt properly, so you thought he deserved the normalcy of, even if for only a short amount of time (and from someone he was already romantically involved with).

The Mailman
Ah yes, the mailman. The new resident in the apartment, the complete opposite of milkman, aka Francis Mosses. How does Francis feel about the new person in the apartment? Will he hate him or not? Continue reading to find out!

I didn’t exactly know how to feel about the new resident of the apartment, however I did know his name. M/n L/n was it? Yes, I thinks so. He was..energetic to say the least, quite the surprise considering the current situation about doppelgängers. The other residents didn’t seem to mind his personality, in fact they all seem to like him a lot..If I had to be honest I envy him.
I mean who wouldn’t? He’s nice, energetic, approachable, and pretty charming. Not to mention he seems to enjoy his job as a mailman, while I’m stuck here being the boring milkman. Nobody really approaches me, saying I look intimidating and not much of a social guy..rude but technically yeah, I could care less about socializing and I only want to finish my job for the day so that I could go home, I never really had much of an interest for romance or socializing with other people. But he seems to be the complete opposite, whenever we was by each other he would always flash me a smile and greet me. I never really say hi back but he doesn’t seem to mind that at all. And whenever he delivers a message or package he would always make small talks with the person, whether it be how their day was or how the weather looks nice. Sometimes I wonder how someone can be so sociable with others.
One time he started talking to me ranting something about space and how he likes stars, he wouldn’t stop ranting. And so I told him to stop talking and left..the next day I was doing my usual job as a milkman, delivering milk to people who ordered when I saw him going house to house delivering a mail or a package. And when we went pass each other, I expected him to ignore me considering I rudely left him on the street yesterday. But he greeted me morning as usual..he’s such a strange and unpredictable man.
Few weeks later..
“Hm..” I hummed as I press the doorbell of the house, I put the bottle of milk down and continued walking to the next house. I could already hear the person talk about how much of a loner I am, just like the other houses..ugh I just want this deliveries to get done fast so I can go home and lay down on my bed..Ah there he is again with his upbeat personality, as usual. How can someone talk so much, if I ever tried that I would be tired before I can even manage to say a paragraph. What if I try to greet him back this time, would be nice if I change my pace a bit, right?
“Morning Mr. Mosses, nice to see you again once more!” He greeted, tipping his hat down as he flash me a smile.
“Morning to you too, L/n.” I greeted walking past him, I could tell he stopped walking for a few seconds because I didn’t hear his footsteps, I walked pass him so many times to the point I could distinguish his footsteps from others..would that be weird for others? I looked back to see that he wasn’t walking anymore, rather skipping like a happy person..cute..
Timeskip
Ugh finally, this day is finally over. I could go back home and rest..once the metal door opened I went inside and gave the doorman my ID and blah blah blah, the usual routine. After checking that I was the actual person, they finally opened the door to let me in the apartment. I walked up the stairs to the third floor which was tiring to say the least, and went to get my keys in my pocket. Once I got it I led the key to the knob but noticed something, the door that led to M/n’s room wasn’t lit up as usual. Usually he opens the lights after he’s back from his job, perhaps he’s later than usual? I sighed, it’s probably nothing I’m probably-
“Oh Mr. Mosses!” He greeted, I turned my head to see him standing beside me except..he doesn’t have his hat on, is this the first time I’ve seen him without it? “Looks like you got here first!”
“What do you mean?” I asked him, a bit confused
“Oh it’s nothing..” he said quickly “and uh-here!” He handed me a letter but it’s not showing the front, hold on a letter for me?
“Oh thank-“ before I could even thank him, he was already closing the door, he seems to be in a hurry. I checked the letter to see who it was from and saw that there was a heart, a love letter? But from who.. “From M/n L/n; to Francis Mosses..” I muttered.
Maybe he’s not as bad as I thought..

wait for me
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: waiter!dick grayson x gn!reader
summary: after getting stood up on a date, you notice the waiter who's been patiently watching you all evening.
tags: smut (18+), sub!dick grayson, dom!reader, teasing, dirty talk, humiliation, name-calling, slapping, handjob
wc: 1.9k
a/n: hey, hope you guys like this one! if anyone has any requests/thoughts, please send them in. i want to write more, but i really struggle with ideas haha
It’s not that bad, all things considered. You must have the intuition of a god for choosing a restaurant that allows free refills, because if you’ve had to pay for drinks this whole night, you’d have gone completely broke. Still, you can’t help feeling pretty shitty. There’s no way your date is running two hours late.
The place is a casual diner, serving a host of soups, sandwiches, and pastries that had you salivating earlier on in the night, but right now, you’re not exactly in the mood to browse the menu again. The diner doesn’t close until twelve, but it’s been almost deserted for the past hour, probably because it’s a weeknight and the average person has plenty better to do than wait on a person who’s made it obvious they’re not coming
Just as you’re about to get up and leave – for real this time – the waiter comes around to refill your drink. It’s a quarter till twelve, and at this point you know he probably wants to start cleaning up, but still he tops up your drink without saying anything. It’s a kindness, but a part of you just wishes he would kick you out already.
He’s been the only waiter on staff since you got here – even the manager knew this place would be empty – and you’re so glad he was, because if you ever want to show your face here again, all you have to do is avoid one person. It’s a shame that you feel too embarrassed to interact with him, though. He’s been nothing but polite, only asking if you were ready to order at the very beginning before quickly picking up on the fact that you were waiting on your date– the one that wasn’t coming.
You take a sip from your full drink, but you cant stomach any more. Standing up, you try to avoid eye contact with the waiter, who’s relaxing behind the counter, as you step towards the exit. There’s a nagging feeling in the back of your head, like you’ve skipped a step or forgotten an important task. It dawns on you as you’re facing the exit: you forgot to tip him!
Well, you didn’t order a meal and you paid for your drink up front, so you’re not exactly sure if you were meant to tip him. Hell, you didn’t know if this restaurant accepted tips at all. But this waiter just watched you sit through quiet torture and the second-hand embarrassment was probably like stepping on glass.
“Hey,” you turn around. “Do I… Should I tip you?”
“Yeah, I was wondering that, too,” he says lightly. He purses his lips and stares to the side, “I’ve turned it over a few times in my head, and decided that nope! You don’t need to tip me. You have no lawful or moral obligation, I resolve you.”
You feel your eyes getting watery, so you focus on the dust in the crease between the wall and the floor. Him saying that only makes you feel worse, but it’d be too awkward to hand him the money now. It feels like there should be something you could do, some way you could thank him for keeping you company.
“How many people are staffed right now?” you ask.
He looks caught off guard, like he expected the interaction to end there. “Oh, just me and one other guy in the kitchen.”
“Let me help you close.”
His eyes widen, and you try to meet his gaze. He’s puzzled, probably trying to figure out what you get out of helping him. Eventually, he shrugs his shoulders and gets up from behind the counter.
“Yeah, why not,” he says with a fond smirk, gesturing to you to follow him.
He leads you to the supply closet, where the two of you grab cleaning spray, rags, and a broom. While you work on wiping down the tables and chairs, he counts the cash in the register.
“So, you always offer to clean up after yourself?” he starts, too focused on tallying up the earnings to notice you staring at him. The waiter, “Dick” according to his name tag, is very cute. You were trying to ignore him the best you could for the sake of your would-be date, but honestly, fuck that guy. Your waiter with the dashing smile and ruffled hair blows him out of the water, anyway.
“Just feeling extra polite tonight. You always accept help from customers?”
“You won’t believe this, but nobody’s offered,” he says with a snort. “Still, probably not the smartest idea on my part.”
You think about his words for a second as you wipe down a particularly stubborn stain. “I wouldn’t be able to rob you if I wanted to.”
It’s true, he looked well-muscled, even if on the leaner side. His eyes are playful as he narrows them at you. “Careful, they take security footage of this place, don't confess to any thoughts you may or may not have.”
You laugh, going back to cleaning before you start again. “Can’t believe you put off closing the diner just so you could watch me get stood up for an extra however many minutes.”
“Counterpoint: Can’t believe you let yourself get stood up for so long.” Dick finishes up at the register and grabs the broom. “You’re worth more than that.”
“Oh? And how do you know what I’m worth?” you say instinctively.
You watch his eyes widen from your peripheral vision, like he didn’t mean to say his last comment out loud. “I wasn’t trying to overstep, but, like, obviously you’re attractive. You could get anyone you wanted and–”
“You’ve been watching me all night, haven't you?” Filled with newfound confidence, you leave your rag and spray bottle and walk over to where Dick is sweeping the entrance.
Despite how friendly he’s been tonight, he deliberately avoids eye contact as he works. “Well, yeah, I needed to make sure you got your order once – if – you placed one–”
“No, no. I mean you were watching me,” you place a hand on his shoulder. “What, you wish you were the one I was going on a date with?”
And though you know you’re jumping to conclusions, he stiffens at your words and it’s clear you’ve caught him.
“I… I didn’t want to bother–” Dick starts, dropping the broom. You use the opening to push him against the wall, hearing the scratches of the brick against his button up shirt.
“That’s alright,” you whisper. “I don’t mind being bothered.”
You can feel his chest rise and fall as you press yourself closer to him. His eyes follow your every move, and you bring your face closer until it's only inches away from his.
You can feel the puffs of his inhales and exhales on your skin, and you’re about to completely close the gap between you two, but Dick beats you to it. He kisses you, and you pull back for a moment in surprise before sinking into the kiss.
His lips are so warm, and as he brings up a hand to pull you closer by the jaw, you notice how surprisingly soft his hands are. You try to deepen the kiss, nipping his lip in the process, and he lets out a gasp. Biting at his lip a little more, he giggles as he realizes you’re playing with him.
“You’re starting to bother me,” he quips, trying to keep his composure as you nip at the underside of his jaw. Just when he starts getting comfortable and relaxing into your kisses, you switch to biting at him, and he jolts.
“Maybe you deserve it. You need to learn better manners, sitting there, watching me all night. Bet you wish I would’ve shoved you against this wall a whole lot sooner, huh?” you whisper into his ear before going back to kissing down his neck. He moans at your words, but tries to muffle himself by pushing his face into his shoulder. You bring a hand up to his hair and tug to get him to pay attention to you.
“Right in front of everyone, too,” you continue, sliding a hand down his stomach to work on his jeans. “Just mark you, make you moan like a bitch while everyone else is watching.”
Biting his lip, Dick tries to ignore the effect your words have on him, but he’s still rutting against your hand as you’re unzipping him. He gives a small thrust against the air, whimpering as you wrap your hand around his cock.
“Shit, this all for me?” you breathe. You swear Dick can hear you smirk, even as he pinches his eyes shut.
“Don’t– Ah!” he gets cut off as you start stroking him slowly. “Don’t let– let it go to your head.”
“No, I think I’ll be just fine,” you quicken your pace, not giving him a second to get ready. “If I remember right, some slut thinks he’s hot enough to get me to fuck him just by, what, batting his eyes at me? From all the way across the diner?”
“Well–” He groans, arching his back against the wall. The sweat shines against his cheeks, you feel so lucky to be the cause of it. “Well I was right, wasn’t I?”
You chuckle, caught off guard. “Guess you are.”
You briefly remove your hand, and Dick grunts, irritated, before you spit in it and go back to forcefully jerking him off. His moans grow louder, and you can see him start to get lost, eyes growing distant while chasing his orgasm.
“Are you going to come already?” you say, slowing your pace to be more deliberate, but still keeping the pressure the same. After a moment of silence, you slap his balls and he lets out a yelp that melts into a groan.
“Answer me!” you shout, bringing your hand back up to pull at his hair.
“Ah– Yeah, y-yes!” he gasps. “You’re going to make me cum!”
“Good,” you say before you bite at his neck again, sucking a spot right under his jugular. The skin starts to deepen and you lick, tending to it before you nip at it again, just biting hard enough to draw a pinprick of blood.
Dick screams as he cums, thrusting into your fist at an uncontrolled pace. You work him through it, matching his speed until he falls back against the wall, spent. As he slides down the wall until he sits on the ground, you walk back to one of the chairs.
“Damn, not ready for round two?” you say, propping up your head on the top rail. He huffs through his nose, looking at you for a moment like he’s checking to see if you’re real. He seems to find what he’s looking for, giggling and resting his head on his knees.
“Oh my god, Dick, stop it. We need to go!” A tall, built man walks out of the kitchen, “Jason” according to his name tag. Looking sheepish, Dick is ready to defend himself, but Jason walks towards him, ignoring every word coming out of Dick’s mouth.
Dick hands you a napkin, gesturing a phone and mouthing the words “call me” as he’s dragged out of the building by Jason. In shock, you open up the napkin to find his name and his number hastily scribbled in ballpoint pen. Smirking to yourself, you only wish you knew how early on in the night Dick prepared this napkin for you. You could’ve saved the both of you two hours of waiting.

Not a Creature Was Stirring
Eddie Munson x Fem!Reader
Warnings: NSFW, 18+ ONLY!, phone sex / masturbation, dirty talk, light alcohol consumption, light drug use (pot), tiny bit of distance related angst, these idiots are actually pretty sweet so a lil fluffy though it’s filthy? Idk
“So what are you wearing right now?”
“Eddie I’m on the phone in my parent’s kitchen. You can’t be a perv right now,” you chide him in a whisper, but he definitely still hears the smile in your voice.
You’ve been gone for less than 10 hours and yet Eddie is already going out of his mind missing you. Since you’d only been dating for a few months, the two of you agreed that him going home with you for the holidays might be moving a little too soon. You both, however, are bitterly regretting the decision.
“Not being a perv, baby. Just trying to picture you standing there all pretty, happy to talk to me,” Eddie replies. He intends for it to sound teasing, but it comes out just as genuine as he means it. It makes your throat get a little tight.
“Wish I was talking to you in person right now instead.” Your voice is small and his heart skips a bit.
“Me too.”
“This was stupid. Can’t believe I didn’t tell you to just come with me,” you huff, twirling the phone cord around your finger in distress.
“I mean we said it was too soon for the whole meet-the-parents thing,” Eddie reminds you, but his jaw is clenched as he holds back all the things he’d wished he’d said. Like how desperately he wanted to spend this special time of year with you, and how he would have loved the chance to win over the people who you care about most.
“Yeah but we were wrong. Who says there’s a timeline set in stone for this kind of thing anyway?”
“If you weren’t so far away, I’d hop in the van right now and let you know exactly where I want us to be on the timeline,” Eddie declares, feeling bold due to the distance and the fact that you can’t see his face. You laugh, which he’d hoped you would.
“If you weren’t so far away I’d let you.” It comes out shaky. You hadn’t said much but you’d said plenty, holding back the tears that threatened to spill out of nowhere. Eddie can hear it over the phone and he aches with the need to encircle you in his arms. To make any and all bad feelings melt away. He’s desperate to hear you laugh, so he tries his best.
“You can make it up to me by touching yourself and letting me hear some pretty sounds.”
“Eddie!” you say with a hushed squeal. Your eyes dart around to make sure you’re still alone in the kitchen, though nobody would be able to hear him even if they were near.
Eddie barks a laugh.
“It was worth a shot.”
You chew on your lip and contemplate, checking the clock on the wall above the sink.
“If…if you’re still up at midnight I can…maybe call you back from my room,” you saw slowly. Eddie’s eyes widen.
“Oh honey, if it means the chance to hear your sweet voice, I won’t be the only thing up at midnight.”
~*~
You’re adorably prompt, calling him back at 12am exactly on the dot. Eddie knows because he had been staring at the clock for the last fifteen minutes, willing time to fold in on itself if it could bring him just a little closer to you.
Eddie wrenches the phone to his face, a massive smile on his lips.
“Hey Princess,” he says, nice and low. Your laughter on the other end is breathless.
“What if it hadn’t been me? What if it was Wayne calling to tell you something?”
“Wayne would survive being called Princess,” he says with a shrug you can’t see. You giggle and Eddie preens. “What has you in such a good mood in the witching hour baby?”
“It’s all you, Eds,” you confirm, keeping your voice soft because of the time. “But I did steal a bottle of wine from my cousins after I said good night and I might have had a few glasses quickly before calling you.”
“Ah, looking for a party, are you?” A thrill runs down Eddie’s spine and he sits up a little straighter in bed, reaching for a pre-rolled joint and a lighter. He’s seen you tipsy before and you’re both adorable and insatiable.
“Yeah. And I was a little nervous,” you add honestly. You’d never talked dirty over the phone before, and even though you’ve had sex with Eddie many times by now, you’re still a little self conscious. Worried you won’t say the right thing or be sexy enough for him.
“Nervous about what? That someone’ll hear? You’re in your room, right?”
“Yeah, the cord from the hall phone was long enough to reach inside here, thank god.”
“So there’s nothing to be nervous about. You’ll be quiet, like a good girl, and nobody’ll know that you’ll be touching yourself for me.”
His words go straight between your legs, turning you on even more than the anticipation for this conversation had turned you on. He hears your sharp intake of breath and feels proud. Proud that without even touching you, even from so great a distance, he can still have a physical impact. Eddie strikes his lighter and inhales deeply, breathing his joint to life and taking a good long hit.
“I’m not nervous about people hearing I’m nervous that…” you trail off and Eddie feels apprehension for the first time all night.
“Nervous that what, baby?”
You huff in frustration, words not as easy in your tipsy state while also the excitement in your veins prompts you to get over yourself and stop wasting the time you have with him.
“You so much better at the dirty talk than I am…” you try to continue but he scoffs, cutting you off.
“If you dare say you’re nervous that what you say won’t be hot enough for me, I’ll scream.” Eddie drops the lighter back on his bedside table and scooches down to recline more comfortably now that he’s confident that your concern is silly. “Not to be creepy, but you could just breathe into the receiver while I jerk off and that would be enough to get me to cum my brains out.”
You let out a startled laugh at the absurdity of the statement and Eddie feels accomplished, taking another hit.
“You’re a fucking weirdo,” you respond affectionately.
“Yeah? But I’m your fucking weirdo,” Eddie counters, letting his hand smooth down to the front of his boxers. “And your fucking weirdo is hard as a rock right now, so is there anything you want to do about that?”
“Well…” you begin, getting comfortable in your bed despite the blood pounding in your ears, making it harder to hear the rustling of Eddie’s clothes over the phone. “If I was there…I’d probably tell you to get those boxers off and out of my way.”
“How did you know I still had my boxers on?” Eddie chuckles.
“Because I can hear you touching yourself through them. And because you always like doing things the hard way.”
“So, so hard Princess,” Eddie muses, pulling them off. “Ok, I’m naked for you. Boxers off as requested, ma’am. Now I repeat the question that I asked earlier - what are you wearing right now?”
“I’m wearing your Dio shirt. The one you left at my place last week,” you whisper sheepishly. Eddie swells with pride (and something close to possessiveness).
“You’re in my shirt and I can’t even see you? That’s cruel, baby,” he pretends to be cross. “Ok my Dio shirt and what else?”
“Nothing else,” you reply.
“So if I asked you to put your hand between those pretty little legs you’d be able to tell me how wet you are for me right now real easy?”
You do as he’d mentioned, bringing your hand down to gather your waiting slick.
“I’m really wet for you right now, Eds.”
“Good. Can you rest the phone on your shoulder or the pillow or something so both your hands are free?” he asks, doing the same thing himself as you move to follow his instructions. He holding his joint up in the air while getting a glob of lotion from the bottle on his nightstand, bringing it down to slide over the shaft of his cock. It adds a smooth glide to his motions that makes him swallow a moan.
“Something I should be doing with these two free hands, handsome?” you ask. You’re really pushing yourself here, trying to be confident in spite of the nerves. Eddie appreciate it and silently vows to make it so worth your while.
“Yeah. Take one and play with that little button I love so much. And the other one…tease your nipple with it through my shirt.”
You do as he says, rubbing circles into your clit, sending ripples of pleasure to your extremities. Your other hand presses and teases at your nipple through your shirt, making it harden from the friction of the material. You hum at the feeling and Eddie chuckles.
“Good, baby?”
“Really good. But not as good as it would have been with your hands.”
“No? Well why don’t you go and put two of those fingers inside you right now. Let’s get this show on the road, yeah?”
You slide your middle and ring fingers inside your tight entrance, finding little resistance with how wet you are. Your other hand squeezed your breast more fully as you find a rhythm moving your fingers in and out of yourself.
“What about you? Are you…jerking off?” You ask shakily. You hadn’t been joking when you’d insisted he was better at dirty talk. Eddie usually talked all night long, leaving you with no obligations beyond feeling fucking incredible, moaning, and occasionally responding with a “yes! Yes!” or a “feels so good!” when prompted.
Eddie chuckles over the phone at your attempt, but the sound makes warmth spread through your body, rather than the embarrassment you’d assumed you’d feel. Apparently you’re too turned on to feel anything other than desire for him.
“Jerking off is a little crude. I’m not exactly a horny fifteen year old here, baby,” he admonished jokingly, abandoning his joint in the near by ashtray. You can hear the shick shick shick over the phone though and your stomach swoops. Of course he’s all lubed up. You know Eddie likes it wet. “I am, however, stroking my cock to the thought of your sweet pussy.”
“Oh god,” you whisper and Eddie laughs again. Your free hand abandons your tits and comes down to play with your clit as you add a third finger into your hole. Still not enough to recreate the stretch of Eddie’s fingers, let alone his cock, but still, better than nothing.
“Mmm what did you change? What’s got you moaning like that?” Eddie prompts. You feel heat spread through your body.
“I…I added another finger,” you admit and Eddie all but growls.
“That’s what I’m talking about. I know my baby likes to be stuffed full.”
“It’s not enough, Eds,” you whine then, and his heart wrenches. His instinct to give you something, more, everything hitches in his throat and he’s fucking his fist in earnest.
“Well then what will help? You got a toy there or anything that’ll feel…I don’t know, fucking more like me?” he laughs. You let out a frustrated laugh too.
“No, I don’t have a massive dildo just laying around at my parents house, Eddie.”
Eddie groans and squeezes himself even harder to stave off the urge to cum suddenly.
“Oh fuck, say more about how my dick is massive.”
“I didn’t say your dick is massive,” you say rolling your eyes, but thrusting your fingers in and out of yourself faster nonetheless. “I was talking about a dildo -,”
“I know what you meant, baby. No need to get coy with me now.” Eddie’s voice is hoarse. He’s trying his best not to cum, but something about your desperation, the sound of your voice (and if he’s being honest with himself, probably the weed), is bringing him all the way to the brink.
“Okay you’re right,” you say, finally letting go, circling your clit with abandon and bucking your hips to meet your hand, simulating what it feels like to meet Eddie’s thrusts. “Your dick is massive and perfect and I wish I was bouncing on it right now.”
Eddie’s eyes widen.
“Ah, so you’ve been picturing yourself on top?”
“You’ve been picture yourself on top?” you counter.
“Well yeah,” he admits. “But I just needed a visual, baby. I can flip us over in my head,” he adds with humor.
“No tell me what you were thinking,” you ask, you voice suddenly quieter, strained. You’re so close, desperate to cum with him. The way he wants you.
Eddie rolls so that he’s no longer on his back, his knees now digging into the mattress. He braces himself with one hand by where your head would be if you were there, his other moving furiously up and down his cock, tugging in down strokes that would have him bucking right into your pussy.
“I’m thinking about what its like when you’re under me and I fuck you so hard, every part of you jiggles. And those tits. Fuck.”
Eddie loses himself for a moment, grunting through the feeling of fucking himself. Imagining you there with him.
“You always take me so well, Princess. You’d take me so well, huh?”
“Yeah. I’d…I’d be so good for you, Eddie,” you whimper.
“I know you would be, baby. You make it so easy to just sink right in and just…fuck. Just give you everything I’ve got.” He’s so fucking close now he can feel his balls tightening, heavy and waiting.
“I-I want it,” you whine, voice cracking.
“What do you want princess? Tell me,” he commands gently. His hips are thrusting down towards the mattress now and he’s right on the edge of combusting.
“You,” you say, your voice small. Almost silent as all of your energy and focus zeros in on the tension building in your core, ready to snap. “Fuck…want you. Wanna cum. Wanna cum so bad Eddie.”
“Cum, baby. Come on and cum for me.” His tone is desperate, and the breathlessness is what has you tipping over the edge. The sound of your quiet moans, as your walls spasm and tighten around your own fingers, is what does him in. Eddie, free to be much louder alone in his trailer, cums with a deep groan that passes over the phone lines, through your ear and directly into your cunt, making your clit pulse anew beneath your frantically rubbing fingers.
“Merry fucking Christmas to me,” he finally mutters, sounding hoarse and wrecked when he finally drops onto his back on the bed, letting his softening cock fall from his grasp, spent. He hears your weak giggle over the phone and smiles.
“Hope you get everything you want for Christmas this year, Eds,” you whisper, fondness swelling inside you and evident in your voice.
“Oh Princess,” Eddie says with a chuckle, throwing an arm over his eyes and breathing deeply to help himself settle in the come down of his high. He wishes almost bitterly that you were in his arms right now, cuddling in the afterglow, but that sound of your voice on the line and the promise of your impending return keep his heart light. “I’ve already got all I could ever ask for.”

menswear.
Tumblr media
been wanting to write a menswear inspired lil ficcy for sooo so long n to celebrate the fact that i will finally hear it live after 9 years i thought this was a great time
a/n: i just wanna write a disclaimer that i am british and tend to britain-ise my writing so if it seems off for an american wedding don’t bite me x it’s ovulation week which is the only way i can explain this if i’m honest
summary: meeting steve at an old friend’s wedding could really only lead to one thing, couldn’t it?
18+. smut. alcohol and drug use. steve is a mess. no use of y/n!
steve’s still drunk from the night before, his tie crooked and one of the buttons on his shirt is uneven. he looked even more disheveled than he felt.
he hadn’t been keen on the idea of going to the wedding of his ex girlfriend and the man who essentially took her from him. not that he blames jonathan of course, he wasn’t exactly the gold standard boyfriend. he had his faults and would quite happily admit to them.
but still, it was confusing and weird and he’d tried to get out of it but robin had quite frankly insisted that he be there or else he was a terrible person.
so, as all sensible people would, he got absolutely fucking blasted the night before. he hadn’t meant to get so drunk but catching up with old friends and the kids he once looked after, had lead to him being carried off to his room by his best friend who was mumbling a bunch of profanities under her breath.
he still stank of booze, christ even he could smell it. it lingered on his body despite the twenty minute cold shower he had forced himself through this morning. there had been an attempt to style his hair but it mostly hung around his face in limp strands.
did you know the best way to beat a hangover is to keep drinking? hair of the dog and that. at least, that’s what he was telling himself. nursing a double whisky at the hotel bar at stupid o’clock this morning.
he didn’t have robin to hang off today, left to his own devices as she’d been recruited into the bridal party. her one track mind focussed on nancy and not her absolute failure of a best friend.
the venue was nice, a tad unorthodox and not where he’d choose to get married but it fit the strange pairing in a nice way. slinking up the cold stone of the aisle, trying to find his reserved seat among the crowds of people.
max pulls him into one of the rows, shoving him down on the empty seat with a small scowl on her face. she’d seen him struggling from her seat and had so graciously gone to help the poor man.
‘thanks.. max,’ he groans, nodding at the girl a she settles into his seat, honestly just hoping that the service would go quick so he could resume his pitiful drinking.
he sighs, thumbing through the programme. smiling slightly as he reads the officiants name, el hopper. they had just had to make this the strangest wedding he’d ever have the pleasure of attending.
‘do you know the bride or groom?’ your voice speaks from beside him, it’s the first time he’s realised that he’s actually sat next to anyone and he’s actually not in his own little world of misery.
‘huh?’ he asks, looking up to meet your eyes.
you’re smiling, looking as spritely as he wished he felt. clearly some people hadn’t got wasted the night before. amateurs.
‘do you know the bride or groom? sorry- i don’t really know anyone here,’ giving him a shy chuckle as your cheeks flush, maybe you would have to dip after the ceremony.
‘oh.. oh no, i know both of them.. nancy’s my ex girlfriend,’ he wants to kick himself because what on earth had compelled him to say something like that.
‘oh wow..’ you laugh, ‘not awkward at all then,’ kissing the back of your teeth.
‘it’s actually not.. not really,’ he shrugs, shuffling in his chair to face towards you properly, ‘i mean, if i had a choice i probably would’ve skipped but.. what can you do?’
‘right.. still, i don’t envy you,’ smoothing down the creased material of your dress, a deep green to match the earthy tones of the wedding.
‘d’you wanna know my secret to weddings?’ he smiles, leaning in.
‘mhm hit me.’
‘you just gotta get as drunk as humanly possible and they’re actually not so bad..’
‘isn’t it like..’ you check your wrist watch, ‘it’s noon,’ breaking into a giggle.
‘and that is why i started last night,’ tapping his finger on his temple, he was a genius really.
he wasn’t new to this game. having been forced to a plethora of fancy weddings with his parents and the wave of weddings from high school friends, he was wise to all the tricks in which made weddings bearable.
‘well, i might have to join you.. i don’t know anybody here,’ looking around at the hordes of strangers milling around the large room.
‘why are you here then?’ immediately wincing at his choice of words, ‘shit no.. i meant, do you know nancy? or jonathan? or have you snuck in?’
you giggle again and it’s music to his ears. sat next to a pretty girl who finds him funny? maybe today couldn’t be all that bad after all.
‘i know nancy.. we were roommates at emerson, she’s like.. the only person i’ve kept in contact with.’
he nods, going to speak but is abruptly interrupted by the sound of the organ chiming. your cue to actually start paying attention to the ceremony at hand. he turns his attention to the alter, exhaling heavily.
‘i’m so sorry.. i never asked your name,’ whispering with his body still facing the front, but completely leaning his shoulder into yours.
oh this wedding was about to be so much fun.
-
you had taken steve’s advice, who’s name you had now learnt, immediately downing a glass of champagne when you got to the reception. hey, if you were going to have to meet a thousand new people tonight, you’d have to be a little buzzed to do it.
it’s no surprise you’ve been shoved onto the singles table, finding your name on the board and slinking off to your corner of the banished. steve already sat slumped over at his seat which was suspiciously next to yours again. he totally hadn’t swapped out stacey’s name card for yours.. never.
you slide into the chair, ‘we have got to stop meeting like this,’ gently nudging his elbow with yours as to not alarm him.
‘huh,’ he smiles, eyes glistening, ‘it must be fate,’ swivelling on the chair to give you his attention.
‘must be,’ raising your eyebrows ever so slightly.
he’s nursing what must be his fifth? sixth? drink, this time opting for something a little more socially acceptable with a beer. if it weren’t an open bar he’d offer to buy you a drink but it seemed a little cheap.
‘so, where are you from?’ he’s utterly intrigued by you, desperate to know everything there is to know.
‘denver and then boston.. for college and now i’m in cincinnati for my job,’ you shrug, feeling immensely coy under his gaze, ‘i take it you’re from indiana like nancy?’
she had spoken about how people mostly stayed in their small town, they’d meet someone in high school and fall into the suburban family life without ever realising it. and then before they knew it, it was too late and they were stuck there. she was determined to not do that.
‘yeah..’ he sounds deflated, thinking of the place he called home, ‘but it’s home i guess..’ he taps on the table, ‘what d’ya do for work?’
‘i’m an editor at a publishing house,’ his expression says that he doesn’t entirely understand, ‘i work with a lot of writers and basically tell them what to do,’ that was the very basic premise of your role but you’d gathered that he probably didn’t actually care much.
‘oh wow.. so you’re boss lady then?’ swigging on the now-warm liquid, he’s listening intently to whatever comes out of your mouth.
‘hah.. not quite,’ fiddling with the tiny name plaque in front of you, ‘one day.. hopefully,’ you were never a fan of talking about yourself, ‘so what do you do?’
he rolls his eyes playfully, ‘work for my dad, i didn’t get into college soo.. he gave me a job,’ eyes wandering to the guests now joining your table, ‘but really i’m just a glorified assistant and even that’s being generous,’ playing off his disappointment with a small laugh.
‘well that doesn’t sound too bad..’ picking up on his demeanour, ‘shall we get another drink before we have to sit through the awful speeches?’
his pretty pink lips curl into a smirk, ‘i like your thinking,’ standing from the table with his hand offered out for you to hold.

‘i-i’ll say a couple words.. c’mon,’ he grins, stepping up towards the small stage, hopper reluctantly passes the mic over to steve, watching apprehensively as he climbs onto the stage.
robin sighs, this could really only go one way and she sure as hell did not want to be in the room to witness it.
there’s a chance that you two had slightly overdone it with the free bar.. you wince watching him up on the stage. the opinions of these people meant absolutely nothing to you but quite obviously did to him.
‘as you all know.. nancy is my ex girlfriend-,’ there’s a collective groan from the audience, ‘but.. but no, that’s not what i came to say.. i wanted to say that-,’ he hiccups into the microphone, ‘that the first time i properly spoke to jonathan, he beat my ass and fuck did it hurt,’ chuckling to himself, ‘but that ass kicking actually.. and you won’t believe it, but it made me a better person and y’know what.. i’m really happy for you,’ he thrusts his glass into the air, ‘so, please join me in a toast to our newly weds.. you deserve it,’ turning to face the cringing couple at the table.
nancy gives him a small smile, it wasn’t exactly shakespearean but the sentiment was nice and he hadn’t embarrassed himself or fallen off the stage head first so she was going to take it as a win.
‘thank you, steve,’ jonathan nods, steve’s sure he can see a tiny smile on his face despite the lousy speech he’d just given.
hopper claps him on the back as he gets off of the stage, taking a mental note to keep an eye on the boy for the rest of the evening. the free bar may not have been the wisest decision after all.
steve collapses into his chair, immediately leaning into you, ‘that was good, right?’ taking a sip of his drink.
‘uh.. yeah, maybe didn’t need to mention the ex girlfriend thing buuut.. i don’t think it was that bad,’ you laugh, watching as he nods in self satisfaction.
‘good, i’m glad you approve,’ his eyes are narrow, glossy as they look back at you, he tilts his glass for you to cheers.
‘cheers.. to a not-so-bad wedding,’ you say, knocking your glasses together.
‘and to new friends,’ he adds, that same grin you’d now become accustomed to after only a few short hours.
‘to new friends.’
-
you and your new friend had sorta maybe totally took full advantage of the free bar and the tiny bag of magic powder steve had kept in his blazer pocket. it wasn’t something you’d usually indulge in, but the champagne had gone to your head and the party was getting dull so..
‘i just wanna say.. i don’t do this shit all the time,’ using his credit card to push the powder into small lines on the edge of the basin, ‘just for when i need a little pick me up..’
he looks up at you from his hunched over position, he’s half-smiling as he pulls a ten dollar bill from his wallet, fiddling around as he rolls it into a small cylinder, offering it to you.
you’re cramped into one of the tiny cubicles together, your back pressed against the cold wall, ‘mm hmm and me either.. just to clarify,’ carefully placing the half-empty champagne flute down on the sink.
‘ladies first..’ hand brushing against against the small of your back as he stands up, mere inches from your face.
you oblige, bending over to sniff the powder, wincing as it stings on the way up. holding out the note for steve to take, his fingers brushing against yours as he takes the note. perhaps it was the copious amounts of alcohol but you could’ve worn you felt your heart miss a beat.
he stands back up, holding his nose. eyes still very much refusing to leave yours. they’re a beautiful chestnut colour and you’re sure they looked even better with a sober mind.
‘ready to dance?’ you ask, raising your brows.
his tongue peeks out of the corner of his mouth to wet his lips, ‘in a minute,’ your heart pounding in not only your chest, ‘fuck- can i kiss you?’
‘please-,’
interrupted by his lips pressing against your own, eyes fluttering shut as his clammy hand finds your waist, pressing himself into your chest.
your arms instinctively wrap around his neck, his tongue glides over your bottom lip, mouth opening for him, as your fingers thread into his hair. he tastes of beer, cigarettes and the mint he’d not-so-sneakily shoved into his mouth before bringing you in here.
it’s all teeth and tongues, his hands getting grabby as they begin to roam around. you so desperately want to jump up onto the sink and let him fuck you into the porcelain right here. pressing your thighs together trying to satiate the growing ache.
you don’t, obviously. his lips chasing yours as you pull back, clawing at the back of his neck, the thumping music of the reception getting louder as someone enters the bathroom.
you put your finger on his lips, willing him not to say a word as the stranger locks themself in the cubicle right next to yours. he’s smirking, pupils blown out from the substance you’d shared. it was exhilarating, pushing his knee between your legs, fingers digging into your sides.
jesus christ, it feels like you’re in this position for eternity. waiting forever for the mystery person to vacate the bathroom. growing impatient as his fingertips dance around your hips, teasing as they tug on your dress.
eventually, they get the fuck out and steve is on your lips again before the door had chance to shut fully. moaning softly into his mouth at the sheer feeling of his thigh brushing against yours. you were a mess and he’d barely touched you yet.
‘shall we.. go? i have a room upstairs,’ mumbling between kisses, not wanting to let go of your lips for too long.
-
there’s a banging on the door just as he’s managed to slip your dress off. you clutch the material to your chest, covering your dignity in fear of intruders.
‘steve? you in there?’ a woman’s voice calls through the wood.
your eyes widen, absolutely certain that he’d had some hidden girlfriend who was now positively fuming that he’d disappeared with you.
his head slumps as he breathes out, hair brushing against your face, seemingly relieved with whoever was outside, ‘it’s rob.. let me just..’ he clambers off of the bed, ‘she won’t leave until i answer.’
steve swings open the door, met with an unimpressed robin. she’s been scouring the party for the last hour trying to find him. only to find out that he’d last been seen with a girl no one had ever seen before.
‘heyy rob.. everything okay?’ he asks cautiously, well aware that he was shirtless, belt hanging from his pant loops.
‘is everything okay with you? you just disappeared.. what’re you doing in there?’ eyeing his disheveled appearance.
‘ah shit i’m sorry.. i couldn’t find you,’ lies, he hadn’t even looked, far too interested in getting you back to his room.
her eyes narrow, glancing down at the hastily removed heel in the doorway, ‘d’you have a girl in there?’
he frowns at his best friend, ‘wha-? i’m just, going to bed..’ following her gaze to the shoe, ‘yes.. there is.’
you try not to giggle from behind the door, watching as he kicks your shoe backwards into the room.
‘ew,’ she grimaces, ‘why’d you answer the door, you freak.. i’ll see you in the morning,’ scoffing as she walks away.
steve closes the door gently before making his back to the bed, ‘i’m so sorry.. she woulda called the cops if i didn’t answer,’ climbing onto the mattress, sat on his knees in front of you.
‘oh? and she’s your..’ slightly bemused as to who that even was and why she seemed to care so much.
‘best friend,’ he leans in, tugging at the dress still pressed against your chest, ‘so where were we?’ devious smirk painting his face as your grip begins to loosen.
he presses forward, connecting your lips once more, nudging you into laying back, hovering over your body with one hand attempting to wrestle the dress from between your bodies. it lands on the carpet with a soft thud, his hand now free to roam the length of your body, fingers softly brushing over the waistband of your underwear before settling on your thigh. it’s cruel and teasing, you’ve already wasted so much time.
you move your hips upwards, chasing his touch. utterly desperate to feel him again. groaning into his mouth, not bothering to hide your impatience. steve smirks, walking his fingers up toward your hip.
his fingers slip into your carefully chosen panties, choking for air as he pulls back from your lips, ‘holy shit.. you’re soaking,’ still lingering around your aching heat, not doing anything to satisfy the growing wetness.
‘shut up,’ you grumble, pulling him back onto your mouth. rutting your hips to signal how desperate you really are.
he finally gets there, middle and forefinger travelling between your slick folds, rubbing pathetic circles around your clit. you’re grateful for the long awaited release, detaching from his lips to moan.
‘ohh fuck,’ he mutters, feeding off of the delightful sounds coming from your mouth. his cock twitching against your thigh.
‘please,’ you whine, unable to take any more of his incessant teasing. it had gone on for what felt like forever. you blame the various substances for your neediness and the subsequent lack of embarrassment for it.
‘keep begging like that and you can have anything you want,’ rescinding his fingers to tackle his own belt, hastily unbuckling the metal and yanking his suit pants down. boxers coming to rest around his thighs shortly after.
your eyes widen at the sight of his leaking cock springing up. you had felt that he was big but holy shit, this was something else. your surprise doesn’t go unnoticed, his veiny hand fisting his cock as his other hand comes to rest beside your head.
‘i’ll go slow,’ he breathes, eyes hooded as his chestnut eyes gaze into yours. he was used to the apprehension by now. your clammy hands grip onto the back of his neck, feet coming to rest on his lower back. nodding quickly underneath him.
he slides into your cunt achingly slow, his mouth falling open. a strangled sound rumbling from his throat, ‘fuck.. you feel.. so good,’ staying where he was, assessing your reaction before making his next move.
it feels like he’s splitting you open but it’s good. burning desire filling your veins, ‘fuck me..’ you nod, ‘please fuck me,’ becoming accustomed to the feeling of being full, pleading for him to just move.
you don’t have to tell him twice, an animalistic growl escaping as he begins to thrust his hips. he’s still holding back, you can tell but it’s oh so much better than his stagnant pace of before.
your eyes struggle to stay open, eyelids fluttering as he slams into you. hitting the sweet, soft spot you’re sure only he could reach. back arching off of the mattress, sweaty chests colliding, chasing that feeling.
‘oh my god,’ you moan, loud enough for whoever is staying in the adjacent room to hear. it’s filthy, lewd and desperate. the sound of his balls slapping against your supple skin, fastening in response to your encouragement.
‘yeah?’ he pants, reaching his hand around to brush the wild hair from your face. ‘been waiting to do this- nghh.. all fuckin’ day,’ relentless with his tempo, pubic area perfectly catching against your throbbing cult, hurtling you towards your orgasm.
‘fuck,’ you grit, eyes screwed shut. it’s disgusting how the sounds of your cunt fill the room, even worse that it was encouraging him. pounding into your hole ruthlessly, grunting as he nears his own orgasm.
the familiar sensation twists in your stomach, mouth hung open as it’s useless even attempting to muffle yourself. ‘steve..’ you mewl, more as a warning that you were fast approaching your release.
he can feel it, the way you clench around him and the utter mindless babbling coming from your mouth were all too familiar. ‘you gonna come? huh? you wanna come?’ struggling to keep his own composure.
you can’t even verbalise your response, nodding maniacally while your legs squeeze around his waist, keeping him deep inside as you begin to tremble. stomach flipping and your head becoming fuzzy, the tip of his cock nudging against the spongy spot as you come undone around him.
the pleasure is almost overwhelming, tears pricking in your eyes as you writhe against him. ‘shitshitshit,’ whining breathlessly into his ear.
‘oh fuck,’ he barks, beginning to lose his rhythm. hips stuttering as he fills you up, thick ropes of cum painting your walls. pulling out far too late and collapsing on top your sweaty body.
chest rising and falling in time with his as you try to regain your breath, still clinging onto his neck while he buries his face into your shoulder, arms wrapping around your back.
‘oh fuck is right,’ you remark, giggling at his pathetic demeanour. fingers running through his damp hair, his wet lips pressing against the skin of your neck. your mind still too hazy to truly comprehend the implications of him coming inside of you. something for tomorrow you to worry about.
‘i’m sorry,’ he mumbles, cocking his head to finally look up at you, ‘your fault..’ attempting to crack a joke.
‘oh it’s my fault?’
‘oh yeah,’ shifting off of your body and onto the bed slightly, still holding onto your waist. ‘i’d have a baby with you any day,’ wrestling to pull the blanket over your bodies.
you narrow your eyes, resting your head on the soft pillow, choosing to blissfully ignore his comments. the toll of the long day starting to take on your body as your eyes begin to close. snuggling into the side of his body, tangling your leg between his.
‘i wasn’t joking,’ he murmurs sleepily, fingers brushing your back softly.
‘shut up.’
-
you’re wary of even waking him, wondering if it’d be easier to just slip out unnoticed. maybe you could leave a note on the bedside table for him to find.
no. no, that’d be rude. most one night stands you wouldn’t even be contemplating it, you’d have ran out of there the second you were awake. something felt different with steve.. like maybe you shouldn’t.
you nudge his arm, leaning over his body.
‘steve? steve.. i have to go..’ you coo softly, coaxing him awake.
he jolts, snapping his head in your direction, ‘huh? what?’ squinting as he comes to, head already pounding from the copious amounts of liquor he’d ingested last night.
‘i have to go..’ smiling at his sleepy demeanour.
‘what? no.. no no, where are you going?’ voice heavy with sleep, a whole octave deeper than it was last night.
‘i’ve gotta check out out of my room and drive home.’
he sits up agains the pillow, stretching his arms out with a stifled yawn, ‘now? it’s so early,’ his fingers wrap around your wrist, ‘stay.. ten minutes,’ gently trying to pull you back into the bed with him.
‘it’s a long drive.. i can’t,’ you mutter, standing strong despite the overwhelming urge to just get back into the warm bed with him.
‘let me walk you back then,’ the smooth pad of his thumb tracing along your wrist, ‘gimme like.. five minutes and we can go,’ dropping your arm as he springs out of the bed.
‘you don’t have to.. really,’ you persist, watching as he shimmies into a discarded pair of sweatpants, frantically searching for a clean t-shirt in his suitcase.
‘well i’m going to,’ he pulls it over his messy hair, it had been neglected the last few days and he’d been kicking himself for not looking his best for you.
you simply smile at him, nothing you could say would change his mind so it was easier not to and you weren’t exactly averse to spending more time with him.
he emerges from the bathroom looking slightly more put together, ‘okay i’m ready.. let’s go,’ grabbing his wallet, nearly empty cigarette box and his room key from his discarded pants pocket and grinning.
it’s a comfortable silence on the way back to your room, steve nodding his head at a few wedding guest stragglers who were either doing the exact same thing you were doing or trying to get the hell out of there as quickly as possible.
the atmosphere is pleasant, almost natural as you walk the halls. arms brushing against each other with every step.
‘well, this is me,’ nodding at the basically untouched hotel room. you’d stepped foot in it once to drop your bag off and hadn’t seen it since.
steve’s biting down onto his bottom lip, ‘you really gotta go now?’ sounding a little disappointed.
‘i’m back to work tomorrow.. i’m sorry,’ trying to disguise your own disappointment. realistically, you probably wouldn’t see him again. just a one time, crazy wedding story you would look back on fondly in a few years.
‘i’m not,’ he offers, trying desperately not to let this go. dating in hawkins wasn’t great, and he wasn’t sure that he’d ever find someone like you even if he searched for his entire life. he couldn’t live with himself if he didn’t at least try.
‘oh?’ raising your brows.
‘yanno, i’ve never been to cincinnati before,’ smirking down at you, ‘i was actually thinking of taking a little vacation there.. like, this week?’
the corners of your lips twitch into a smile, ‘you know what? that sounds like a great idea.’

LATEN REED.
Laten didn't believe in love at first sight. He never felt much for anyone at all, really.
He would hop from one person to another, hoping to feel something. Even if it only lasted a few minutes.
This caused himself quite the reputation, a good-looking guy, talented and popular but also a player.
Some people saw him as a challenge, as a trophy to say, 'I fucked him too.' While others decided to stay as far as possible.
Deep down, all he truly cared for was his family and rugby. That was it.
The third month into university and his reputation became a well-known thing. You were one of the few people who avoided him at all costs. If he walked one way, you'd walk the other. If he went to a party, you'd make sure you'd be far away.
Seeing the campus beauties hanging around him, grabbing his big and muscular arms, playing with the soft curls of his hair, complimenting his beautiful green eyes, he'd smile back, act shy, and shrug. So humble!!
All in all, Laten Reed wasn't a very likeable person, and you most definitely did not like him.
You could see right through that little act of his, and with time, it made your blood boil.
Fifth month into university, a party on a Sunday. Who decided a Sunday party would be wise? You went anyway, after an hour of begging from your flatmates.
One of your friends, Maddie, recently became friends with Laten's close knit group, and she couldn't wait for you to meet them all! You wanted to scream and cry and hide..
A game of spin the bottle, you won a once in a lifetime opportunity! Fifteen minutes locked in the bedroom with Laten Reed. THE Laten Reed. How lucky!!
Laten didn't even know who you were before that night. You were some insignificant person that blended in the crowd, so why would he know you? Obviously, you weren't worthy of his acknowledgement.
That's what you'd assume anyway. You expected his mindset to he exactly that when, in reality, it was quite the opposite.
Did he know you before that party? No. He didn't. But once he locked eyes on your form an hour before the game of spin the bottle, he couldn't look away.
Laten couldn't really understand why, you ghosted yourself around the people, you didn't speak to anyone outside your little bubble and it was almost like you did everything in your power to not gain attention and yet at the same time you had his full attention.
He realised you were friends with Maddie. It took him a while to register that fact because he was so invested in you and the mystery of you.
How had he never seen you before?
That's when he wormed his way in using the mutual friend to force interaction between you two. But that didn't work. You avoided even looking his way.
Why didn't you like him? He wanted to see you properly, but you hid yourself behind shy hands and hair.
Skipping to the fated game, you filled with dread when the bottle landed on you both. He noticed it. He had been watching you all night. He saw every emotion that flickersd across your masked features, and it annoyed him that he couldn't see more.
Unlike yourself, he felt lucky to be able to be stuck in a room for fifteen minutes with you.
You begrudgingly followed behind. He locked the door as told and watched as you sat on the bed awkwardly. Looking at your lap and it was like he could hear you mentally chanting, "I want to go, I want to go, I want to go."
You expected him to move onto you, sit beside you with a hand on your thigh, whispering against your ear and you shudder at the thought, but instead, he sat on the floor in front of you, crossing his legs with green eyes looking up at you.
If your distaste towards him wasn't so big, you'd have found him sweet. Cute. Innocent. Three things he most definitely wasn't. You immediately shook those thoughts out of your mind.
Yet he watched you, he could see your features better and God, you were mesmerising. He had never felt that way before, not about anything or anyone.
For once, Laten didn't want to prove his reputation to be true. He didn't want to sexualise the moment. He just wanted to watch. To look. Admire.
How you played with your fingers. Looked at the floor, avoiding contact. How you awkwardly shifted on the bed attempting to appear comfortable.
"I'm Laten." He said, simple. He knew you'd know. Everyone knew Laten. He just wanted to speak. To hear you speak to him. "Y/N." You replied, quiet, yet blunt, and he smiles. You noticed his smile, sweet. Cute. Innocent.
You could almost understand why girls easily got so used by him. He was beautiful. His sparkly eyes watched you, the smile lingered on his pretty lips, and you almost felt your heart beat faster than usual.
Nothing compared to him, though. He was enchanted by you.
From then on, you noticed him look at you a lot on campus, each party you both attended. He began to show up in places you hadn't seen him in before, and he'd smile that smile, and each time, you'd momentarily forget his reputation.
Little did you know, he didn't go to these places by chance, oh no. He followed. Since the day he saw you, he'd watch you. Forever. Watching. Admiring. Observing.

The more or less dreaded day of your friend Floris’ wedding came as quickly as never.
You were happy she finally got to marry her longtime boyfriend Aegon, more so because they were celebrating on Koj, one of the Summer Islands you always dreamt of visiting… if it wasn't for the sake of you being the plus one of her groom’s brother and also your ex boyfriend, Aemond.
You had been together for roughly three years and only had broken up shortly after you had booked everything for the wedding for reasons you couldn’t quite recall anymore.
For the longest of time, or rather for the time you drowned in sorrow and self pity, you had forgotten about the upcoming wedding and the fact you had to share a room with Aemond, if the two of you wouldn’t cancel the reservation.
The flight wasn’t the problem, because you could easily switch seats with someone else, but the hotel was. Apparently, they were so far booked out that there was not a single room available–of course it wasn’t–besides the one you had already booked, and on top of that, you and Aemond would lose your deposits if you would cancel the booking.
Being the good friend you were, you couldn’t just skip the wedding, so that was how you ended up exactly where you were right now: standing in front of the reception desk in the pristine hotel lobby, the handle of your suitcase tightly clutched in one hand with a tensed Aemond standing right on the other side.
Up until then, everything went according to plan. You were able to switch seats on the plane with an older man that wanted an aisle seat instead of sitting at the window, and you were quick to give him just that. The ride to the hotel was quiet, too, because Floris was attentive enough to send two separate cars to pick you both up.
So, you and Aemond hadn’t spoken a word beside a polite “hello” when you first met at your aisle in the plane, and even then it didn’t last long, because that man was already waiting for you to clear his new seat.
It wasn’t that you did not want to talk to him–you just didn’t know how well you were able to handle any contact with him, considering you didn’t break up due to bad blood.
“You don’t happen to have a second room available? Could be a Single, a Suite… whatever,” Aemond asked without so much sparing you a glance, just as desperate as you to get some space between the pair of you.
The receptionist, a tall man with black hair and almost equally dark eyes, shook his head. “Only one room,” he replied, the Common Tongue slipping past his lips with an amber, liquid accent and broken syllables. “Room 351 for you and… wife.” Both your eyes widened in surprise at the man’s statement, but neither of you made any effort to correct him, either not really caring because it didn’t help with the overall situation or just too tired from the damn long trip.
The key cards–at least you didn’t have to approach him whenever you wanted to get back to the room–were slid over the marble of the counter without another word, a small card that held the WI-FI password and general information next to it.
Aemond’s sigh was barely audible, and maybe it was the sheer annoyance you held or your silent despair to have him speak to you about whatever topic he wanted, but you heard it, and couldn’t stop rolling your eyes.
“Does it at least have two separate beds?”
It was very brief, but the man’s eyes flickered over to you, before darting back to meet Aemond’s mismatched ones, the sapphire blue of the prosthetic one not really matching the lilac of his other. If you didn’t know better, you’d say the receptionist flashed him an apologetic gaze with the way his lips pressed into a thin line, followed by another shaking of his head. “Only one bed.”
Aemond set his jaw, and you really thought if he hadn’t at least once thought about the possibility of you two having to sleep in one and the same bed. You had booked the room as a couple, so, of course it only had a single bed.
You must have side eyed him a bit too obvious, because when he turned to hand you your key card, he just shrugged his shoulders and brushed past you.
Aemond had reached the room first, the door left slightly ajar to make it easier for you to get in, and sat at the edge of the King size bed.
With the realization slowly settling in that you indeed had to share a bed with him, you came to the conclusion that it somehow seemed too small nevertheless, especially beneath his tall frame.
Anxiety spread throughout your body and you already cursed your sleepy self should she decide to snuggle up against him at night, no matter if it was on purpose or not.
Being in the same room as him felt suffocating enough already, hence you were quick to grab your fanny pack and head towards the door again once you stored your suitcase next to your side of the bed. “I’ll… I’ll take a walk, looking for the black beaches and the venue,” you announced.
If it wasn’t for you all but darting out of the room, you would’ve caught the somewhat hurt expression that flickered over Aemond’s features with his mouth silently opening and closing without any words leaving it at your sudden departure.
Much to your surprise, you had found the wedding venue and the black beaches rather quickly with both being at the same spot right in front of your hotel. You stood on an elevation with a wooden railing in front of you embraced by several branches of the local trees. The wedding took place in the North of Koj, and if you squint your eyes just tight enough, you were able to make out the island Walano, or more so Lotus Point, one of its cities.
With the sun slowly setting, the volume of the tropical birds’ chirping, making the whole surroundings all the more beautiful… and romantic.
You barely heard the zipper of your fanny pack as you opened it, retrieving a pack of cigarettes and the lighter Aemond had gifted you back when you started dating. It was black and red, their family sigil engraved into it. The pad of your thumb absentmindedly brushed over it, feeling the small ridges, before you brought it up to light the cig.
Even before you could exhale the first puff of smoke, the quietness and peace of your solitude was broken.
“I thought you quit,” your stomach dropped as you heard the voice. His voice.
The beautiful scenery of Koj was left behind you as you turned to look at him, shrugging your shoulders. “Started again when I had trouble falling asleep after… you know,” was all you said in return, pressing your lips into a thin line as you inhaled yet another cloud of smoke. You half-expected him to lecture you about it, saying how he was disappointed you had returned to smoking after successfully quitting for two years, but it did not happen.
Instead, Aemond stepped closer to you, still keeping a fair distance though, and merely held out his hand. “May I?” He asked, which caused you to cock an eyebrow at him in suspicion. Your body acted on its own when you handed him the cigarette, and the familiar heat that felt like home filled your body as your fingers brushed, your heart fluttering.
Being quite taller than you, he had no trouble looking over your head to admire the beauty of Koj’s nature, all while taking a deep drag of your cigarette. It was almost melancholic. Aemond was looking at the nature, and you were looking at him, dwelling in the past and many unsaid things.
“I feel like we have some catching up to do before we can celebrate the wedding without any problems,” he finally admitted, and only when he met your eyes, you figured you had shamelessly stared at him for a tad too long.
Your body tensed at his words, and you shifted your weight from one leg to the other. “What is there to catch up on?” You asked, eyes darting to the ground as you couldn’t bring yourself to look at him.
Aemond pinched the back of his nose, exhaling a deep breath that was accompanied by some faint smoke from his last inhale. “Listen…,” he started, seemingly fighting for the right words to say. “The fight we had was so stupid and irrational, fuck, I… I don’t even know why we were arguing.”
It was visible in the way his jaw clenched and unclenched, and his fingers quivered, that Aemond was far from being comfortable having this conversation, and you were so close to just reaching out and taking his hand into yours to soothe the nervousness. It was an anchored instinct you had even after being separated for seven months.
One of his hands ran through his silver-blonde hair, a lot shorter than the last time you’d seen him, pushing the strands out of his face. It had taken you a long time to get over him, at least you thought you were, but now, seeing him in the dim light of the lanterns with the reddish light of the sun illuminating his features as he looked at you with the soft gaze you had grown so fond of, everything was flooding back.
Aemond had always had trouble speaking about his emotions. It was one of the things that came with his fucked-up childhood, growing up with a father that didn’t love him and such, so you really appreciated him at least trying to reconcile.
“It was the right thing at the time,” you said in a reassuring manner, flashing him a smile that didn’t reach your eyes. “We… I wasn’t ready for it.” He exhaled sharply through his nose at your words, not quite a snort and not really a laugh. “We is quite right,” he replied.
While you had been talking, you hadn’t noticed how close you both had gravitated towards each other. Your heart started to beat at a rapid pace, almost bursting through your ribcage you were sure.
But before you–or him–could do anything stupid, your voice of reason pushed itself into the front of your mind, reminding you that you were still sharing a room with him if he wouldn't accept your advances.
Aemond seemed to sense your restraint and held your cigarette out for you. He rubbed the back of his neck, eye flickering between yours, the ground and the distance. “So…,” the awkwardness of the moment was unmatchable. Aemond felt it, too, because his face was covered in crimson that also ran down his neck already. “We arrived quite late today and I still want to grab something from the late night buffet… see you later, I guess?”
You nodded your head with a forced smile on your lips, muttering a “see you later” and finished the cig. While he left, you pressed the butt against the reiling to extinguish it and looked around for the next closest ashtray.
Your evening wasn’t ruined, but there was no way you could focus on the beauty of Koj’s nature with Aemond lingering in the back of your mind.
———
You stared at the ceiling in your hotel room for hours before you finally gave up. There was no point in continuing to lay there, tossing and turning, getting absolutely no rest.
Maybe it was the obsessive worrying of you scooting a tad too close towards Aemond in your sleep or the unresolved words that hung between you after your more or less reconciling at the beach.
Exiting the bed as quietly as possible to not wake up Aemond, you slipped into a thin caftan and tied the belt around your waist, keeping you warm on your way to the small balcony since you only wore a silk top with matching shorts.
You slowly pushed the sliding door open, looking at his sleeping frame from over your shoulder to make sure he was still asleep, and stepped outside. It was unusual for him to not stirr awake with you leaving the bed, considering he always was a light sleeper, but you figured you weren’t the only one whose habits had changed after the break-up.
From the balcony, you could spot a few people still setting up some things for the wedding venue at the beach, and you were certain you could also hear the baritone of Aegon’s deep voice, followed by the voice of Floris.
But even then, it brought you more peace than lying in bed with Aemond could ever bring you, despite the air being somewhat chilly with a light breeze blowing through the knotted fabric of your caftan.
It was completely dark, safe for the few lanterns that lit up the distant beach for the people to continue their work. The hotel had dimmed most of the lights surrounding their resort, granting everyone the sleep they needed.
“Do you think we are now?” The raspy voice of Aemond drawled, thick with sleep and startling you. Your confusion must have been evident on your face as you turned around, because he repeated his question slower and a bit louder while he sleepily rubbed the back of his neck. “Do you… Do you think we would be ready now?”
You had thought about it ever since you came back to your room, pondering over how you had changed the past seven months, and if things between you could finally work out. And a part of you was certain you could, while the other part was anxious, afraid it would end the same way it had ended before.
The pregnant pause between you two was not at all comfortable, practically urging you to say something… anything. Yet Aemond beat you to it–not by speaking, but by acting, and when you noticed what exactly he did, you figured you were a goner. Everything suddenly flooded back, and you needed him. You still loved him. You were still in love with him.
Something in your body language or facial expression had to give away how you felt, even if it only was for just the slightest of seconds, but it still had to be enough for Aemond to grasp how you felt.
He silently held out his hand, but this time for you to take it, and you took it without hesitation, interlocking your cold fingers with his warm ones, allowing him to pull you into his embrace. It was when your face was buried in his chest with his all too familiar scent flooding your nostrils, that a sudden wash of exhaustion overcame your body, his proximity bringing your body the peace and comfort it had always longed for the past seven months.
“Y–Yes… absolutely,” though your voice was somewhat muffled by his firm chest, you knew he had heard you well enough by the way his arms tightened around you, hugging you as if he was afraid to let go, fearing you’d leave him again.
Your face was buried in his chest, but you could feel his nose nuzzling along the crown of your head, taking in your scent before it were his lips pressing a tender kiss to it. The hug was full of emotions and soothed all your worries, erasing the memories of loneliness you went through after your break-up. It was just like in the past, when he would comfort you on sleepless nights.
As you tilted your head back, you were met with his face dangerously close to yours, despite the high difference you shared. The natural attraction of his lips made it difficult for you to look at his eyes, yours always straying back to his lips. And it was obvious it was the same to him, not knowing if he should look at your lips or eyes.
No one of you said anything as your heads bowed towards each other like magnets, irresistibly drawn together, until eventually your lips met and your bodies melted together. Even though you hadn’t seen each other in seven months, the kiss was shy of restraint and gentleness. It was fierce, passionate even, begging to make up for all the months you hadn’t spent alongside each other.
The heat of your kiss ran down your spine to your legs, hells, it even reached the soles of your feet, leaving a fire everywhere it touched. Aemond was a Dragon, liquid heat, molten fire, seeping into your bones and consuming your very being. You melted in the hold of slender fingers sliding down your body, caressing every inch they could grasp, and the warmth of his embrace.
You ached with need–your body crying out for more. It was soft under Aemond’s hands, so fragile, even if your kiss was so desperate, and yet he greedily took whatever was offered, devouring you like you were the sweetest Arbor wine.
His hand lazily drifted over the curve of your hips, fingers curling into your flesh. The soft gasp you released was drowned by his lips, drinking it down as though it was meant to spur him on even more.
You were distracted enough to not notice his other hand slipping beneath the elastic waistband of your silk shorts to cup your ass, squeezing the flesh with the same ferocity he had used to grope your hip. You gasped yet again, but not without breaking the kiss to hiss a warning “Aemond”, slightly shoving at his chest though it was not hard enough to seriously push him away.
“‘M sorry,” he replied with a scoff, but the smirk on his lips told you he wasn't–he was enjoying it. The roll of your eyes at his poor apology didn’t receive a teasing comment, too eager to capture your lips again and continuing where you had stopped.
The hand on your ass gave it just one more squeeze, before his deft fingers pulled the lace of your thong aside to drag through your swollen folds from the front to the back, collecting some of your arousal.
Your reactions couldn’t be more opposite.
You whined against his lips, while Aemond just growled like an animal, the last threats of his patience snapping as one digit eased into your hole. You clenched around him, but he didn’t move his finger–it just stayed inside of you with barely more than the tip buried.
“Fuck – You’re soaked for me, Y/N,” he pulled back to catch his breath, voice raspy, strained. “All for me, or were you this wet for the other guys you had after me, too?”
His words were lewd, and if you weren’t already embarrassed by your body’s reaction to him, you sure as hell were now. It was bad enough that you weren’t even able to form any coherent sentence as a reply, stuttering out the words with a whiny voice. “N-No other guys… only for you.” Upon realizing, you just pressed your eyes shut and silently cursed yourself for falling victim to him… again.
You anticipated him scoffing, and he did, but you didn’t anticipate him grabbing your hand to guide it towards his crotch to where his hard cock was bulging against the fabric of his boxers. You were looking at him with wide eyes, almost as if you couldn’t believe it, but when another wave of arousal gushed out of your core, you certainly knew it was real.
“Good,” Aemond purred. “Because I haven’t been with anyone else, too. And you have no fucking clue what that does to a man.”
You were just able to whimper in return, kiss-swollen lips slightly agape, and squeezed his hard cock lightly before he proceeded to turn you around, seizing your body between his and the railing.
“Aem, what–”
The words inevitably caught in your throat at the feeling of his lips on your neck, nibbling and sucking your skin. “‘M gonna have you right here, Y/N,” he rasped, making you shudder in his embrace. “Can’t waste anymore time getting you back in bed.”
As he drew your earlobe between his teeth, you melted into him right then and there, not even once worrying about anyone hearing or even seeing you two doing inappropriate things in an even more inappropriate place.
“Oh,” you only whimpered in return, bowing your head back against his shoulder as his hand tugged on your shorts to pull them down to your knees. His body was pressed so tightly against yours, you felt the outline of his length snugly wedged between your ass cheeks, twitching every time you whined and whimpered.
While your hands clasped around the railing in front of you, his were busy with your body. The fingers of one hand hooked underneath the string of your thong, playfully pulling it back to allow it to whip back against your skin, causing you to take in a sharp breath, whilst the other snaked around your body to push the fabric aside, exposing your soaked pussy to the chill air.
“I have dreamt of fucking you ever since I’ve seen you in that damn plane,” Aemond confessed, but you were so lightheaded, barely mumbling a “yes” and “please fuck me” in return. And when his knee nudged your legs apart, you knew your prayer finally came true.
Knowing you were wet enough and eager to take him, Aemond waited not one second longer to free his cock out of its painfully tight confines, sighing in relief as he proceeded to fist himself.
He cursed himself for only having two hands with one of them being occupied by himself, because otherwise he would have bent you forwards and grabbed your thighs at the same time. But now it was a firm hand applying pressure between your shoulder blades to level your body, before it then lowered enough to splay across the outside of your thigh.
A shuddered breath escaped your throat when you felt his tip prodding at your aching entrance, and the memories of the delicious stretch his length used to bring you clouded your mind–only to be revived a split second later with him slowly but surely pushing in.
Every ridge and vein of his cock was palpable with how slow he eased into you, claiming you inch for inch and causing you both to moan out in unison.
Now it was him breathing shakily, almost as if he could not believe his luck. “Fuck,” he grunted under his breath. “I’ve forgotten how tight you are.”
He was buried inside of you to the hilt and didn’t move, though you weren't the one that needed time to adjust. “I’m not gonna last long… fuck,” it was audible in his voice how much restraint it took for him to not cum right then and there, more so because it meant he had to restrain himself from pounding into you if it meant he could fuck you just a few minutes more.
“It’s… It’s okay,” you panted, reaching behind you to cup his face with one hand, pressing it tighter against yours. “I’m not going to last any longer than you.”
One of his arms wrapped around your waist, keeping you steady, while the other moved to cup your chin, keeping your head bowed back against his shoulder. Your earlobe was back between his teeth when he started to thrust his hips into you, each snap slow but deep enough to hiccup your breathing.
At one particularly harsh thrust, the moan you made was a tad too loud for his liking and you quickly figured why he kept his hand on your head–because it made it easier for him to press it over your mouth to silence you.
“We don’t want to wake someone up, do we?” Aemond teased, his amusement perfectly audible. Another harsh thrust was served, resulting in you biting back a loud moan that got lost into the palm of his hand, and it was clear he had done that on purpose to test your obedience. “Be quiet,” he warned, his lips against your ear.
You mewled in return and each time you had to moan, you would sink your teeth into your bottom lip to stifle it–Aemond did the same, though his teeth were sinking into your earlobe, making the grunts and groans he released only audible for you, which drove you insane.
Maybe it was the possibility of being caught, or reconciling with Aemond, but your orgasm approached you at a laser-speed, especially as he adjusted his hips to make his cock reach an angle that had you gasping, whining and clenching around him ever so tightly.
It was easy for him to lose himself in you, almost too easy. Despite the chill of the air around you, he couldn’t stop entering you over and over again as you bit back on every strangled sound of bliss his thrusts issued forth from your lips. The hand from around your waist was braced on the railing to allow him to thrust harder into you, each thrust forcing you against it, though you didn’t seem to mind.
To you, it felt as if you weren’t even unclenching around him, body so tensed and overwhelmed that every fiber felt as if it was on fire, and he seemed to sense just that.
“Cum for me, Y/N,” Aemond commanded softly, tilting his head forwards slightly to lick from the curve where your neck met your shoulder up to the sensitive spot behind your ear, before sinking his teeth back into your flesh.
And you did just that as the pace of his thrusts increased, your orgasm washing over you with soaring pleasure. Your toes curled and you were glad his hand was still over your mouth, because otherwise everyone would’ve heard your moans, the volume not lowering once.
“Mh, that’s it,” he cooed, coaxing you through your orgasm. “Making a mess all over my cock–just how I like it.”
With how tightly you were clenching around him, it was only a matter of time until Aemond followed behind, keeping his ministrations despite the aftershocks already trembling your whole body, knowing it would make you sore.
One final thrust sent Aemond over the edge into oblivion, his orgasm shaking deep within his bones. Even if he wanted to, he couldn’t move any further, hips stilling as his twitching length spilled his load deep inside of your quivering walls.
Collapsing against your frame, he released your mouth to support his body with both hands on the railing, gripping it as if his life depended on it. Both your pants were loud, but not nearly as loud as your grunts and groans before.
Now you were the one cupping his chin, gently turning his head to force him to look at you, while he was just blinking hazily at you in the dark. “I’ve missed you,” you confessed, a slight tint covering your cheeks.
He rested his forehead against yours, meekly nodding, “I’ve missed you, too.”
A content smile spread over your lips at that, but as he pulled out of you to turn your around, it dropped into a pout he all too happily kissed away.
“Let’s get you back in bed now… I have seven months to make up for.”

Blackpink in Your Area (p1) ft. Jennie Kim
Pairing: Jennie Kim x Male!Reader Rating: Explicit / Mature Wordcount: 1.6k Summary: After her latest performance you find yourself sneaking backstage with your girlfriend.
Tumblr media
AN: some context, this was made...god around the time of their first world tour? so writing wise it might not follow the same rhythm of my current stuff. but it's a personal fave i've had privately that i figure fuck it i might as well post it now. if you want to read a TWICE converted version of this chapter with Nayeon you can find it on my AFF profile but this is the OG never published version. Enjoy!
"Where are we going?"
"Ssh. Just come on!"
The accented voice leaves little room for argument as the owner's hand pulls you down another corridor. It seems with every turn you get further and further lost — which is likely the point. However, Jennie seems to know exactly where she is going, a small comfort at least. She pulls you down another tight passage then stops, pressing you against the cold wall. Instinctively you hold your breath before realizing you have no reason to — or at least you hope you don't.
"Jennie, you're acting like we're running from the cops," you speak, your voice a hushed whisper despite your previous reasoning.
"They might as well be the police," she responds, glancing back the way you came.
After another moment, she must be pleased that there is no one following you and turns to face you, a mischievous grin on her features. Without a word, she cups your face with her hands, bringing your lips down to meet hers in a slow, greedy kiss. Whatever concerns or confusion you had previously begin to fade away as your hands find their way around her. It has been so long since you had a moment together that you had forgotten how easy it was to melt into her embrace.
She pulls back, her nose brushing against yours. "If anyone saw us," even with your eyes closed, you can hear the relief and satisfaction in her voice. The kiss had the same effect on you. "This would be over and my career would be on the line," she places a kiss to your jaw as she speaks.
It is a bittersweet truth. What you have is masked in darkness and secrecy; not even the other members of her group know about you. If it were ever revealed to the public, not only would the fans and paparazzi eat you alive, dating is strictly against her company's rules. You always said that you would end things with her before you ever let that happen to her.
You feel her palm running over your cheek, your distressed thoughts likely showing on your face as your brow furrows. "Don't think about that now," she presses another kiss to your lips, then another and another; giving you plenty of time to notice just how soft and irresistible her lips are. By the fourth kiss, you are eagerly kissing her back, your hands sliding from her waist up her back, pulling her closer than you already were.
This time around your embrace is needier, hungrier; as if every second you were living on borrowed time. You feel her hands move from your cheek up into your hair, fingers running through and gripping at the short strands. Her teeth dig into your bottom lip, tugging on it while she peers up at you with those killer eyes of hers. The sight alone is enough to make your heart skip a beat.
"I need you," she says when she lets go, "Right here. Now."
As she speaks, one hand slides down from your hair, running over your chest and rubbing over your slacks. Her palm encourages the bulge that is growing there and you cannot deny that your arousal doesn't just come from her but the fact that at any moment you could be discovered. It is exhilarating in its own way. Adrenaline and lust are a dangerous concoction on any night but here with Jennie, it seems especially so.
You agree without a word, only giving a small nod of your head before you are spinning her around so her ass is jutting out to you while her hands splay against the opposite wall. She is still dressed in her stage outfit from the earlier performance, which doesn't help to subdue your eager hands in the least. She is stunning in every way, yet when she is on stage she still somehow seems to magnify that. Seeing the outfit just brings back memories of watching her earlier that night.
"Need some help there?" A teasing voice breaks you from your momentary recollection. Jennie is glancing over her shoulder at you, brunette hair partially masking her features. She has a vixen side to her and truth be told, you are used to her taking control and being in charge, but you also know that you cannot let this opportunity she is giving you go to waste.
In return, you offer her a smirk of your own, "Merely admiring the view." Though given your time and place, this is hardly the moment for appreciation.
You push her plaid skirt up, your hand dipping between her thighs. "You've soaked right through your training shorts, baby," you try to keep the arousal out of your voice, but the husky facade cracks just a bit. Jennie moans in response; the notion turns you on just as much as it does her clearly. "Just how long were you thinking about this?"
At first, it is a rhetorical question, but as your wrist snaps back and forth, fingers getting her off over her clothing, you find yourself eagerly waiting for an answer. Jennie does not give any; her breath comes out in quick hiccups. She leans further into the wall, her hips pressing out closer to you in obvious need. "Were you thinking about it during your performance?"
"Y-Yes..." she manages, her own hand reaching back to grip your wrist, refusing to let you stop. "When I saw you in the crowd — oh god."
You can tell she is going further and further down the rabbit hole. Her New Zealand accent becomes more pronounced the more aroused she gets. An astute observation you have made over your time together. It is not the only sign either; she is biting down on her plump bottom lip and her thighs are clenching deliciously around your hand.
Satisfied with her answer, you lean over her, your breath hot against the shell of her ear. "Baby, we don't have much time."
The idol takes a moment before she nods in response, her grip loosening on your hand. Your fingers deftly move from between her thighs to her waistband, pulling down her spanks to expose her to the night air. You make quick work of your pants buckle, or at least you try to. Your own eagerness causes your hands to fumble with it for a second before finally getting it undone and unzipped.
"Oh fuck..." Jennie moans loudly as you slide your length into her, and it is the most heavenly sound in existence. In any other time, you might've clasped one hand on her mouth to muffle the moans lest you be discovered, but in this moment, caution is thrown to the wind.
You can feel your cock swelling even further once you are inside her; the walls of her pussy clamping down on you. It takes you one thrust, then another before you are in to the hilt, a deep groan rumbling from your chest past your lips as you take a moment to revel in the sensation. That moment is all you allow yourself, however. Comparing it to the earlier kiss that had been the slow and eager first embrace; what comes next is pure hunger and lust.
Your hands grip her waist tighter as you pull out of her, hips snapping forward to meet hers. Another delicious moan reaches your ears as she lets her head fall back. Each thrust is harder and faster than the last, desperate to be with her and to have her coming undone in pleasure. Of course, to do that, you have to hold yourself together as well, and that is no easy task. "God, you feel so good."
The sound of skin slapping together begins to fill the space you have tucked into, mixing with the heavy breaths and moans that fill the air. You lean over her, one hand moving to turn her face towards you as your lips meet in a sloppy embrace. "I love seeing you like this. I want to make you feel this good all the time."
Jennie only moans in response, her mouth hanging open as she takes every inch of you. Your free hand moves from her waist to her chest; fondling her breast through her top. You have enough sense not to be so aggressive that you pop a button, but it is a tall task. The last thing you need is questions from the costume department.
"Fuck, right there," her hand reaches back, grabbing at your ass to force your cock back to hitting the same spot. Jennie is so used to being in control that you are almost tempted to deny her request. And maybe in a different time and place, you would have teased her for a bit before giving in. Now, however, you do not even have control over yourself, let alone strength to tease her. All you can do is what she asks of you. Hips move frantically to fulfill her desire, driving her closer and closer to the edge.
Her nails dig into your skin, and you can feel your own release coming as well. "I — I'm close!" you grunt in warning.
"Hold on, baby. Hold on, I'm almost there... almost...!" she goes quiet; her body tightening as her mouth falls open in a silent cry, her eyes shut tight as her orgasm runs through her. Fingers dig into the back of your neck as she comes, and it is just might've been the most beautiful thing you have witnessed since her last one. Jennie has never been the loudest when she comes undone, yet it is still enough for you to reach your breaking point.
"JENNIE?!"
Suddenly, a voice cries out, causing you to physically jump back, your cock springing free of Jennie's pussy, cum shooting in the air. When you look in the direction of the out crying voice, you are both aroused and horrified.
There stands Jennie's group-mate and best friend, Jisoo, her face coated in your cum.
"...Oh fuck..."

He can’t take his eyes off you. To be exact, the sunlight suits your facial features so well that it seems impossible to ever let go of your sight.
You have been friends since he met you on that day exactly 6 years ago, when you tried to steal a load of food for a heavy pregnant woman. Since then, he was captivated by your beauty, your brain, your skills. But somehow, this makes the stinging fact that you sit beside him even worse.
“You shouldn’t be here, (y/n)”, he speaks out before he’s able to stop himself.
Immediately, your gaze drifts away from the dreamy scenery to him, eyes widen in surprise.
“What are you talking about, Levi?”
Don’t say his name while looking at him like that, not with that gentle tone in your angelic voice. He told himself over and over that you are nothing but a close friend, maybe considered family like Isabel and Farlan.
He huffs to himself. What a filthy little lie.
“This mission is dangerous. I don’t want you to get-“
“Hurt? Killed? You told me about all those things more than once and I’m happy to repeat myself again for you: I will not leave you, Farlan’s and Isabel’s side. After all, we are friends, right? And friends don’t leave each other behind.”
You gift him with your usual breath-taking smile while his heart skips a beat.
A friend.
He has to remind himself over and over again, force his orbs away from you. You are nothing but friends. And he will never risk to lose you over the potential of something more.
-the evening before the mission-
“I thought I’d find you here”, your teasing voice shouts from behind.
You are probably the last thing he wants to see this evening. Not because he doesn’t enjoy your company, but because he wasn’t able to convince you to stay in safety. Erwin Smith made it very clear that this mission is dangerous, that multiple survey corps member already died behind those walls. And even though you, Farlan and Isabel showed your skills countless times before, he can’t stop his train of thought. You, getting grabbed by a titan. You, getting ripped apart, your blood scattering onto the ground. He won’t have the chance to stay by your side during all times. One wrong movement, one thoughtless decision and you’d be gone.
“I don’t even have to ask in order to know what you’re thinking about right now, Levi.”
The second your hand brushes over his shoulder, he is too lost in the feeling of your bare hand against his shirt to worry any further.
“You don’t have to worry about Farlan, Isabel and me. After all, you’re the one who taught us everything we know.”
“Tsk. You were already doing fine when I met you.”
“But you were the one who showed me there is still hope, something worth fighting for. If it wasn’t for you, I would have died down there without ever seeing the sun once in my life”, you reply.
All of the sudden you place your hand on top of his and squeeze in gently. That look on your face, is it…Affection? He shakes his head firmly, doesn’t allow himself to get lost in that oh so sweet idea. A woman like you will never fall for a cold-hearted man like him, not when the whole squad fell head over heels for you the second they got to know you better. You are a true sweetheart, everyone’s favorite, a ray of sunshine. He, on the other hand, is none of that.
“Stop praising me or else I’ll puke and make a mess onto the freshly cleaned floor.”
No, he doesn’t deserve your kind word, doesn’t even deserve that spark in your eyes. You are better off without him, even as a friend.
“You’ll gonna clean it up anyway”, you bite back with a wide grin.
“Actually, there is something else I want to talk with you about, Levi.”
The sudden change in your voice paired with the warmth of your hand leaving his lets his gaze wander to yours again – only to catch you already staring.
“What is it?”, he questions instantly.
“If you have to decide between Isabel, Farlan and me…Just promise that you’ll safe them before even thinking about my ass. Please look after them and don’t worry about me.”
His eyes widen just the tiniest bit, reveal his surprise and…his resist. Not thinking about you, leaving you behind? The urge to shake you becomes almost unbearable when he grabs your arms passionately, gaze locking with yours.
“There is no way in hell I will ever leave you behind, dumbass. Don’t you dare to die on me, got it?”
“Promise”, you urge.
“Promise you’ll look out for them first.”
“(y/n)…”
He has to close his eyes in order to stop staring at your perfect lips. This might be the last time he ever sees you alive so unbothered by his side, the last time he witnesses the way the dim moonlight lights up your hair.
This…might be your last night alive.
“Please, I can’t live with the thought of being without them. They are still so young.”
“What about you, though? What if I don’t want to live a life without you? What if I die myself?”
You smile at him sadly, your hand caressing his cheek oh so gently.
“We all know you won’t die out there, Levi. It’s us who might not be here with you tomorrow. After all, that’s why you wanted to stop us from coming with you, right?”
He swallows hard. Every single one of you is a skilled fighter. Hell, you even survived the underground with countless enemies chasing after you. But this? This is something completely different. For the first time since getting to know all of you, Levi isn’t so sure about your abilities anymore.
“I promise”, he replies with low voice.
“Thank you”, you breathe out.
“Now, let’s get some sleep, shall we? We have a big fight ahead of us.”
Oh, there is no doubt in the fact that Levi won’t close his eyes this whole cursed night, pondering about a way to safe all of you. But even though you are very aware of that, you turn on your heel and smile at him one last time.
The brightest smile of them all, making your face gleam in nothing but affection.
“Oh, and Levi?”
“What is it, dumbass?”
“When I was talking about the sun earlier…That sun was you.”
And then you’re gone in the dark, leaving him with his heart almost beating out of his chest and feelings clustered all over the place.
Him, your sun?
-the battle-
Your eyes widen in sheer horror, the violent scream escaping your lips not reaching your ringing ears. Those powerful orbs…There is no doubt in the fact that this is her, that this is Isabel. Tears stream down your face uncontrollably, mix with the bitter coat of rain that sticks to your face uncomfortably.
Your friend is dead. And you were not able to protect her.
“You.”
The monster standing in front of you doesn’t look like the other titans you’ve seen before. Eyes red like crimson, lips curved into an evil grin. This thing is absolutely aware of the agony it causes you and enjoys every tear you cry.
You grab your blades even tighter, narrow eyes fixating its nape.
“I will make you suffer”, you press out through gritted teeth.
“I will make you regret that you even touched her!”
You dash forward only to get greeted by thin air. Fuck, this thing is so fast you didn’t even realize it was gone until your blade crashed into the muddy ground. Why do your hands suddenly start shaking, your knees felling weak? It’s just you and that thing. The other corps members around you? Scuttered onto the floor in bloody pieces.
Levi?
You escape its clutches by a hair’s breadth, the monster’s stinging smell of death and rotten flesh making your guts turn. You need to focus, need to control your fear and anger. Otherwise, you’ll die just like all the others did.
Levi…Is he dead as well? There is no one around, no one showed a single reaction to your multiple cries for help, your signs. Maybe you’re the only one who’s left. Which means that Farlan and Levi are gone.
Levi, gone? Fuck, you should have told him about your true feelings yesterday, you should have pressed your lips against his like you always dreamed about. This was the last opportunity to tell him how much you love him before both of you die.
And now it will be forever too late.
Just when you’re about to dash forward, the arm of the titan yanks towards you with breath-taking speed. Your eyes widen in sheer horror as all you can do is stare in sheer disbelief.
Is this how you will die? Through the hand of an abnormal titan, eating you alive?
You always dreamed of a life on the surface with Levi by your side. Maybe a small cottage on the edge of a busy city close to a river. Having a little farm with a few animals here and there, Levi working for a local business while you stay home and care for your home. For a brief moment, you allow your eyes to rest, to get lost in the life you will never have.
If only you had told him sooner. Maybe then it would have been different. Maybe then you wouldn’t feel your bones crack against the sheer force of the titan’s flat palm, throwing you into the air like a ball.
As soon as your body hits the ground, everything goes black.
-5 years later-
He opens his eyes against the way too harsh sunlight. Another night he hasn’t slept more than 2 hours. Day 1869 of missing you.
“Good morning, Captain Levi!”
He doesn’t even care to reply, feet carrying him down the hallway monotone. His days have always been the same since the day he lost Isabel, Farlan and you: Getting haunted in his sleep, waking up alone, surviving another day in this living hell. It’s almost ironic, how he already hated the world when you were in it. Little did he know how much worse it would get when you’re gone.
There is no day since back then that doesn’t revolve around you. You, with your hair down in the sun. You, beating up some tuff guys and showing them their place. You, that fucking cursed night before you had to leave.
Until this day, he hates himself for not being there. By the time he arrived, everyone was dead, brutally murdered by an abnormal titan. And even after searching for your corpse for hours in the pouring rain, he didn’t even manage to find a single limb left of you. This should be a good sign. After all, it might mean that you somehow managed to survive.
“The chances of (y/n) surviving and managing to flee on her own are 1 against 500.000”, Erwin said back then.
Maybe it would have actually felt better, knowing that you’re dead. Maybe this would spare him from getting haunted by your giggling and fucking gorgeous face each and every night.
But…If getting haunted by your presence is all he has left, he shouldn’t complain about it.
“We are heading out today. It is said that there are countless abnormal titans roaming around a city nearby”, Erwin explains briefly.
“How the fuck did these things even manage to get in there?”, Levi grumbles in response while taking a sip of his way too hot tea.
“That’s not what I care about. What I’m more interested in is the fact that a group of villagers managed to trap one of them.”
Levi can’t help but put his cup of tea down while Hange bursts out in sheer excitement next to him. A group of villagers, trapping an abnormal titan?
“Former corps members?”, he questions.
“Apparently not. Maybe they are interested in a new job”, Erwin replies, getting up from his seat and straightening his uniform.
“We are leaving right now.”
“Right now? Over some brats who were lucky to not get eaten by that titan?”
“You can’t deny that these ‘brats’ have to be skilled in order to trap an abnormal titan, Levi.  Also, I heard the head of them is a woman.”
Levi huffs to himself. Skilled, huh? Lucky is definitely the better fit.
You sink your blade straight into the eye of the disgusting creature lying in front of you, watch in sheer satisfaction how it squeals underneath.
“Hope you enjoy that as much as I do”, you mumble, twisting and turning your sword painfully slow.
“(y/n), d-don’t you think that’s enough? What if it escapes?”, the man next to you cries out, holding safe distance between himself and the abnormal.
“So what? Listen, you little shit. If you even try to escape, I will kill you without even blinking, got it?”
You rip your blade out. In, out, in, out until everything around you is covered in crimson.
Just like back then.
You stumble back when a wave of nausea hits you. The sight of Isabel’s lifeless head, her limbs scattered across the muddy floor. Back then, you weren’t able to save her, weren’t even able to save yourself. If it wasn’t for your crew, you’d be dead by now. Just like her…
“Hey.”
“How about you take a break for a sec? You’re drifting off again.”
Her gently voice pulls you out of your nightmare just like her tender touch. Petra has been the greatest support since that fateful day. In fact, the only reason you are still alive is her. When she found you, you were already on the brink of death. Only due to her passionate and long-term care, you learned how to walk again, learned how to fight again.
“Sorry”, you mumble, allowing yourself to rest for a moment against her strong shoulder.
“(y/n), I’m sorry to interrupt you like this but…We spotted members of the survey corps?”
“The survey corps?”, you repeat in sheer disbelief.
Rage starts flooding your veins in an instant, forcing you to pick up your blade again. If there’s one thing you will never forgive the survey corps for, it’s the fact that they left you standing in the rain. The countless people who died with the wings of faith embroidered onto their jackets, eaten alive by a titan while your desperate cries for help remained unanswered until this day. For Erwin Smith, you were nothing but canon fodder, nothing but a bait. And you will forever hate him over the fact that he is partly responsible for the death of Isabel, Farlan and Levi.
You storm in the direction your scout sighted them, jumping from tree to tree in order to catch them by surprise. You will definitely not tolerate survey corps members around your area, especially when you just caught an abnormal titan to study and torture.
“There they are.”
Their disgusting green cloaks fill you with thick anger, almost force you onto the ground to knock every single one of them out. But you know all too well this isn’t the way to go. No, you will wait here until the right time comes to throw yourself at their captain.
There are five of them, walking towards the direction of your village. Just wait a few more seconds until the one who walks ahead is underneath you, one second and you…
You lunge yourself at the person with full speed, forcing them to the ground. Him, to be exact. That firm chest exposes all too urgently that you just attacked a man.
“Are you out of your goddamn mind, brat?”, he barks at you, rough hands grabbing your wrists so tightly that your bones threaten to shatter.
You aren’t able to defend yourself, though.
That voice, the way he called you brat.
Is it really possible that…
You allow your eyes to look up at him and for a moment, time seems to stand still.
“Levi.”
You breathe his name out like a prayer, as if your dream might become reality. These grey and unbothered eyes look just like you remember his, the dark hair framing his face oh so perfectly.
“Levi, is that you?”
He can’t comprehend his feelings. Just a second ago, he was under attack of a stranger. But your eyes aren’t foreign. They hold the spark he dreams of each and every night, the memory he cares about so deeply. Is it really possible, that…
“(y/n).”
Everyone was so sure that you died on the battlefield, that the titan must have eaten you alive without leaving any remains. But maybe there was nothing to remain. Maybe you actually did manage to survive. Is it possible? Is this really you?
“I thought you died.”
Your voice is nothing but a fade away whisper, tears streaming down your usual so composed face like rivers when your memories begin to crash down on you like a house of cards. All those years, you were convinced Levi lost his life on this battlefield as well, that you were the only one remaining. But now you’re sitting on top of him, taking in his clean scent while he glares at you the way he used to.
“Everyone tried to convince me that that fucking abnormal ate you back then, that there is no chance you survived. Now look at you, dumbass”, he breathes out, very own eyes now coated in a thin layer of glimmering tears.
There is no time to waste. With a swift motion, you lunge yourself at him again, wrap your arms around his strong torso as if your life depends on it while resting your head against his chest and crying your heart out.
Words will always fail to express how much you missed him, that you thought about him each and every night since the day he was taken away from you so roughly. But now, you will never let him go again. Now you won’t waste another opportunity to tell him how you really feel.
“I love you, Levi. I loved you since our days in the underground city, I loved you through all these horrible years of grief. I love you. I love you”, you finally blurt out.
“I love you too, (y/n). I always did.”
Gently, he rests his hand against your nape while lifting your chin up with the other.
The second your lips meet, your world feels complete for the first time. All the pain, the grief, the things you had to endure. The countless nights of imagining him right by your side, the thought of never seeing him again. And now he’s here, right in your arms while kissing you so passionately that you fail to breathe.
“I love you”, he repeats so softly that your heart melts away like butter.
“I love you…”
“I finally found my sun again”, you smile against his lips.
You snuggle yourself onto him even tighter, your grip around his torso firm. Oh, you will definitely never let this man go again. Not after it took both of you so many years to meet again, not when he’s all you ever wanted.
Levi Ackerman, the love of your life.
“Who’s that woman throwing herself at you from a tree and then getting a smooch from you?”
“Shut up, shitty four-eyes”, Levi barks at the person standing behind him.

feat. kenma, tsukishima, iwaizumi
Tumblr media
steamer!KENMA
kenma loves his job. as a professional streamer he’s his own boss, he doesn’t have to be around people too often and he’s become really fond of his little online community (not that he’d admit that out loud).
it’s been a week since your unplanned debut on his channel. you didn’t realize he was recording when you came to drop of his snacks, doing your daily check in. ever since, all the tags with his stream name were aggressively loving, basically demanding him to bring back their ‘mother’ to the screen.
you drop in every now and then to remind his viewers to look after themselves, jokingly scolding them for not looking after your man aswell but it’s all fun and games on both ends.
whilst watching his stream in the room next door, you can help but notice a user in particular.
@/kodzubae: LMAOOO i thought he would be dating someone much prettier😭 didn’t know kodzu did charity cases.
even though the chat was moving before you could read all the comments, your eyes always managed to find whatever the user said about you, and none of it was nice. you didn’t have to be told not to read the comments— it’s an unspoken fact but your eyes and brain always seem to betray you, feeding into your minor insecurities.
you haven’t even realized you were staring at a blank screen. kenmas’ stream had ended whilst you were too lost in your thoughts.
“…you alright?” he asked hesitantly.
though your eyes lit up and your lips quirked at the sight of your boyfriend, he knew something was up— call it a sixth sense of his.
you wordlessly tried to convince him that you were okay, talking and joking the rest of the night until you fell asleep in his embrace but none of it felt genuine. he didn’t want to pry, but it physically hurt him to see you hiding things from him.
totally disregarding the first rules of boyfriend 101: “don’t go through your partners phone!”, kenma unlocked your phone, instantly frowning at the screen before him.
it was her twitter page. kenma knew his lifelong fans, and the handle on your screen now was one of them, except it was full of fan behavior for him and blatant hatred for you.
he felt bad.
it wasn’t exactly his fault, but he still felt responsible for the digs at you that were happening on his live.
the next day, you had woken up hours after kenma. you tend to do that when you sleep with a heavy heart.
in the distance, you could hear him talking, probably streaming. so you opened his stream on your phone and tuned in right on time.
“hey guys,” he greeted. “before we start i want to say something…i’ve become aware that ever since ‘mother’,” he emphasized on the quote marks. “made her first appearance, some of you have not been the nicest to her online and i just want to say that that’s a boundary that absolutely cannot be crossed.”
@/user1: WHAT? WHO HURT MOTHER
@/user2: i hope she’s okay :( luv u mom
@/user3: we’re just going to skip over the fact that he acknowledges them as our parents? okay…
@/user4: cross ken >:( cross ken >:(
“so from here on out, any hate towards her will be an instant block. i’ve told my mods too so behave…” he firmly, yet gently scolded.
“now that’s out of the way, today we’ll be…”
you watched the rest of the stream with a smile on your face. though you were working on voicing your concerns and discomfort, it was nice to know that kenma is willing to work for you whilst he waited.
TSUKISHIMA (tall!reader)
“you look so much taller when you’re not welded into tsukkis’ side, ya know?”
startled, you angled your neck down to see one of your classmates.
you had been avoiding her, and she, you. but it seems she’s finally willing to break this ongoing silent tension fest between you two.
“what do you want.” you deadpanned.
she gasped. “you’re too mean! tsukishima doesn’t deserve to be with someone like you, he deserves someone who is more down to earth, you get me?”
she eyed you up and down to emphasize her point.
taking your silence as willingness to listen, she continued. “i mean your too tall! granted he is too but opposites attract, he needs someone who will look good with him, like me.”
you folded your lips inward to contain your laughter. you and basically everyone knew about this girls love for your boyfriend, but you never pegged her as the type to come at you like this.
“you can have him if you want,” you waved. “kei looooves short girls.”
her eyes lit up in victory, obviously not sensing your sarcasm. “cool, just make sure you break up with him today because-“
“nobody is breaking up with anyone.” a voice shot.
low and behold, your six foot something boyfriend shutting down any advances you were planning to set him up with. though he joined the conversation, he only appeared to be addressing you.
“kei! i-“
“tsukishima.”
“tsukki! i-”
“no.”
he made eye contact with your smirking face over the girls head. “you were just gonna throw me to the wolves like that?” he asked offended.
you chucked. “there’s no wolves kei, look at her” you pinched the cheek of the stunned girl stood in between you two. “she’s harmless, like a poodle.”
she stood, mouth open seemingly in shock.
looking back at him, his face did not let up. you sighed.
“i’m sorry kei,” you breathed through your nose. “i will never subject you to such a horrible, earth shattering, torturous-“
“that’s enough, my god” he groaned. grabbing your wrist, he dragged you by the wrist, only slowing down when you rounded the corner, out of the girls view.
“you know i was joking, right.” you poked his cheek, to which he swatted your hand away.
“i know you’re joking,” his signature smirk appeared. “after all you wouldn’t throw away the opportunity to date the guy you’ve been crushing on for as long as you’ve been here. if i recall, your confession went along the lines of ‘i-“
you slapped your hand over his mouth in embarrassment. leave it to the guy to turn your confession into a weapon against you.
you playfully bickered down the rest of the hall, forgetting all about the girl who had tried to take your place earlier.
IWAIZUMI
“are you sure you’re not only using him to like, get to oikawa or something?”
the first words this girl had spoken to you. you don’t know who she is, or where she came from but she has some nerve coming with such a ridiculous question considering you haven’t formally met before.
“excuse me?”
“you heard me,” her tone was now accusatory. “i’ve seen many girls do iwa dirty because they want oikawa so if that’s the case save yourself an ass beating and leave him alone!”
you don’t know if you have bad memory or what because you don’t know who this girl is and as far as your concerned, neither does your boyfriend.
“i’m sorry, are you a friend of his?” you were more confused than anything.
“i am his and he is mine.”
woah.
you didn’t want to accuse her, but every sign she was showing pointed to a major case of FDS (fan delusion syndrome), a case of the crazies found in fans of the oikawa toru founded by you, maki and mattsun, but you were unaware that this case was also present in your boyfriends own… supporters.
you don’t blame them though because your man is a total hunkkkk. anyways.
right on queue, the door slid open and both of your heads turned to meet hajime’s, and of course he has to show up with a sweaty face, shirt practically clinging to his defined body.
“hajime!” the girl called, running and stopping infront of him. “she’s using you do get to oikawa, break up with her!”
he followed the finger that was pointed to you— confused and lost in the middle of the gym.
“that’s my girlfriend, she doesn’t like him like that.”
the sound of a shattered heart pierced the sudden silence. “w-w-what do you mean girlfriend, she’s after toru i’m sure of it!”
a humorless chuckle sounded from his throat. “trust me, she doesn’t ”
being cautious not to set the girl off, he traversed around her, and straight to you who watched the whole interaction both concerned and amused.
“wowww,” you breathed. “i didn’t know you were also a cause for FDS.”
“what?”
“nothing,” you straightened. “i don’t blame her though. i would go crazy if you walked around looking like that too.”
his face flushed and he turned away. “stop saying things like that…”
you smiled, poking his cheek. “what, i can’t appreciate my boyfriend who’s built like he was carved from the greek gods himself?”
he walked away after pushing your face with his hand, drowning your chuckle.
“c’mon haji, don’t be like that,” you chased after him. “you have to be feeling yourself a little after seeing the affect you have of the seijoh population!”
the girl watched as you made her ‘man’ flush, comment after comment, feeling numb as she watched him get more and more out of his reach.

Hey vikki! I would like to request Angel, Alastor, and Vox (romantically) with a reader who is like VYT-24 from Pink Bitch Club, but instead of being a robot is more like a literal doll if that makes sense? Sorry if this is too much or too complex! Feel free to skip or ignore this, and have a good day or night!
Headcanons Doll
🕷 Angel Dust x Reader 💖
When Angel first saw you at the hotel, he did not immediately realize that you were a sinner like him. At first, you literally seemed like a doll to him. You had an emotionless face and when you spoke your speech was calm and cold. It was only when Charlie introduced you to him that he found out that you were a living person, a sinner who just looked very much like a doll. Angel didn't know if you were like that before you died or if you became like that in Hell
At some point, he had a little fun.  He started looking for ways to make you feel something. He used a variety of ways to do this. Your emotionless reactions seemed annoying to him at first, but over time he got used to it and he began to notice more and more often that he liked you. He was even more surprised by the way you, with a calm, indifferent expression on your face, told him that you liked him. For the first time, he liked such an indifferent confession
Angel was often the one who acted. He often kissed you, causing a touching blush on your cheeks. Such a display of feelings from someone who looked like a real doll was extremely unusual and he liked it. He liked the fact that he was destroying your indifferent mask
You and Angel were together, much to the surprise of the others. Angel, who was full of passion and emotions, and you, who had emotions like a porcelain doll. You complemented each other and stayed together despite all the problems you faced
📻 Alastor x Reader 🎙
Alastor often reminded those with whom he talked about how important a smile was, and you were one of them. However, he has never seen you smile. You were one of the hotel guests and looked like a living doll. There was never any emotion on your face, and when you didn't move, you could really be mistaken for a doll. Alastor often reminded you to smile, but you never smiled. In principle, you rarely showed emotion
He often saw you helping others at the hotel. You didn't look like a man who was interested in redeeming his sins. Sometimes it seemed like you weren't interested in anything at all. Even when the hotel was in turmoil, you continued to remain calm and silent. He had mixed feelings about your indifferent doll-like face. Even when Alastor came very close to you, you didn't express a single drop of excitement
Your indifference was somewhat similar to his smile. No one could determine exactly what kind of emotions you were experiencing and what could be expected from you. That part of you attracted Alastor, and you often spent time together. In all this time, he has never been able to cause a change in your face, but Alastor was not going to stop. He liked talking to you, even though he didn't always know what was on your mind
You and Alastor have never shared your past with each other, but he was curious to know more about you. He was curious to know if you were always like this or if you stopped expressing emotions after you ended up in Hell. Perhaps later you will be able to get to know each other better
🖥 Vox x Reader 📱
From the first day you met, Vox couldn't figure out what was wrong with you. You worked with Vees and Vox saw you quite often and you were always unemotional no matter what was going on around you. It doesn't matter if Velvette was angry because her assistants couldn't do anything right, if Valentino was screaming because something wasn't going the way he wanted, or if Vox was angry because Alastor was back. You continued to look like a doll, and there was never any emotion on your face
At first, your lack of emotion annoyed him, but over time Vox got used to it. Despite the fact that you looked very much like a doll, you took care of him. You spoke words of support to him and took care of him, although your face remained as calm as ever. Sometimes Valentino joked that maybe you weren't a sinner but just a doll, but Vox ignored these jokes
You were the only one who really listened to his seemingly endless monologues about how everything annoyed him. Vox knew that you wouldn't tell the others about his words and that he could trust you. He learned to understand you even though you had no emotions, so he didn't worry when you didn't show an emotional reaction to his displays of tenderness towards you. Your words meant more than the expressions of emotion on your face
Sometimes Velvette and Valentino made fun of Vox because of your relationship, but he didn't care. Despite the fact that you looked like a doll, he was comfortable with you. He felt loved around you

Pairing: Lee Jeno (NCT) x fem!reader
Genre: Fluff/Smut
Contains: Kissing, body worship, dry humping, swearing, dirty talk, hair pulling
Word count: 3345
A/N: With a special dedication to @sexygrass, I hope you'll like this version of cute 'n' sassy Jeno 😉
---
“The final assignment’s gonna be easy, my ass,” you murmur angrily, trying your best to focus on the book in your hands.
Despite the fact that you’ve been sitting there for over half an hour, not much progress has been made in your reading. If only this was the area of your interest, surely you wouldn’t be bored out of your mind, but well, it’s not.
“Why me,” you groan dramatically, throwing your head back against the backrest of the sofa.
It’s not like you didn’t expect it to be difficult – you did, actually – but it doesn’t make you feel any better now that you have to finally start working on it. Not to mention that you constantly complain about all the work you have to do, and this certainly doesn’t help your motivation.
“You don’t seem to be very into it," you can hear Jeno laughing from the bathroom.
He must have heard your whining all the way from there.
“No shit,” you scoff in the answer, as you roll your eyes good-naturedly.
Trying to work at your house proved to be impossible, as everything there distracted you: there was always something better to do than reading that goddamned book. When in the morning you video called Jeno to complain, he suggested coming over to study together, as he had an exam the day after tomorrow, and you agreed.
“We can motivate each other this way, you know,” he exclaimed with the sweetest of smiles, causing your heart to skip a beat.
That’s when you realized that you’re fucked. Desperately trying to escape one distraction, you’ve happily thrown yourself right into the muscled arms of another one. Maybe you should’ve thought about it some more before giving him a positive answer, but at that moment you were way too busy thinking about how pretty his brown eyes appear in that lighting.
“So, what exactly are you doing?”
Jeno’s voice makes you jump – lost in your thoughts, you didn’t even notice him approaching you.
“Reading, or rather trying to–,” you manage to say before you look up, and the words die on your lips.
He’s standing a meter or so away from you, a warm smile playing on his lips, as he’s waiting for your answer – at this moment it really hits you how fucked you actually are.
It’s all because of your tardiness – you’re not exactly the type to arrive on time, and Jeno is no stranger to that fact. There’s no wonder he simply assumed that he didn't need to be in a rush when he came back from his training – he thought you’d be late. This time, however, you arrived exactly on time, only to catch him still walking around in his sweaty gym clothes. A bit flustered with the turn of events, he asked if you mind giving him some time to clean up and change, and you, of course, agreed without a second thought. You were completely lost at this point, enchanted by this flustered mess of a man. You should’ve known better than to think that this is going to turn out fine, really.
“Trying, huh?” he chuckles, his long fingers pushing damp locks from falling into his eyes.
You don’t know where to look. Would be awkward if he caught you gaping at his muscled chest.
“Y–yeah, I’m trying really, really hard,” you answer rather nervously.
You’re trying to control yourself and not let your eyes wander, which is a crazy difficult task. From the corner of your eye, you can see droplets of water falling from his hair and rolling down his chest: slowly travelling down his muscled abdomen until they reach the waistband of his sweats and soak into the fabric. He’s saying something, but you can barely focus, as you’re too busy gaslighting yourself into ignoring how hot your best friend looks right now.
“You’re not listening to me, are you?”
“Pardon?” you question with an apologetic smile, trying your absolute best to ignore your dirty thoughts.
To be frank, falling for your best friend is, in your opinion, the worst possible option in terms of catching feelings for someone. You can’t even pinpoint when it happened and what exactly caused you to become infuriated with him. Was it his weird sense of humour and that joyful laugh of his? His respectful behaviour towards you? Or maybe it’s all about his handsome face? You can’t tell – all you know is that there’s something about Jeno that causes your brain to turn into a mush whenever you need it the most.
“This book must have tired you out more than I thought it would,” he chuckles good-naturedly, walking towards the table where his laptop is placed.
Moving some papers to the side, he settles comfortably on the chair, and then opens the device.
“You’re clearly out of it,” he adds over his shoulder with an amused smile, turning the laptop on.
You, on the other hand, are not as amused. You’re no stupid, you’re just stupidly in love with this irritatingly handsome man.
“Of course I am,” you say, tongue-in-cheek. “You really expect me to stay focused, while you’re walking around half-naked, huh? Might throw some t-shirt on, you’re distracting me, Jeno.”
Jeno turns around slightly, and stares at you, his brows furrowed: a perfect picture of disbelief. There’s something in his expression that you can’t exactly put your finger on, but it appears to be a hint of sadness, or even regret.
“Not that you have a bad sense of humour or something, but this joke isn’t funny at all.”
Now it’s your time to be surprised, as you blink quickly trying to process his words.
“I’m not joking, though,” you say, puzzled a bit by his reaction.
“You saw me without a t-shirt countless times already,” he hums, scratching his neck as if in wonder, but you know that in his case it’s a sign of embarrassment. “What’s the difference? I didn’t think you’d care that much.”
It’s your turn to furrow your brows now. It does affect you quite a lot, actually, he just doesn’t know that.
“So you think that it doesn’t affect me that you walk around me basically naked?”
“Please,” he scoffs, turning around back to his laptop to type the password in. “It’s not like you’d like to fuck me or something.”
Your mind goes blank for a second, the wave of heat immediately hitting your cheeks.
“What are you saying?” you chuckle nervously, your heart pounding rapidly in your chest.
Jeno glances over his shoulder, clearly not understanding the reason behind your awkward reaction. He clears his throat before adding:
“Doesn’t really matter what kind of attraction we’re talking about. It’s pretty obvious that you don’t think of me as someone attractive.”
First of all, you can’t believe your ears, and second of all, you’re starting to feel a little hysteric. You take a deep breath, and put your book to the side.
“You think I’m not attracted to you,” you say matter-of-factly, trying your best to keep the tone of your voice neutral.
“Exactly,” he shrugs in the answer, not even turning around, too busy checking something in his notes.
Your heavy sigh is a little dramatic, you have to admit, but you’re done, just done with this man. Either you’re an absolute pro at hiding your feelings, or he’s just a lost cause in terms of noticing what’s going on around him. You don’t really suspect yourself of being that good of an actress – you know very well that your self-control is in pretty bad shape when you’re around him.
“You’re such a fool, oh my god,” you groan helplessly, standing up from the sofa.
Two big steps is all it takes to reach him.
“Excuse me?” he dramatically turns around, clearly offended by your words.
A quiet gasp escapes his lips when he realizes that you’re now mere centimetres away from him, invading his personal space in a way that causes a shiver to run straight to his crotch. His breath hitches slightly when you gently grab him by the chin and tilt his head back so that he’s staring up at you.
“Look me right in the fucking eyes and say it again. Say that I don’t want to fuck you.”
Jeno opens his mouth but doesn’t say a single word. The longer his dark eyes bore into yours, the deeper the flush on his cheeks gets. When he licks his lips nervously, your stare drops unceremoniously for a second before you slowly raise your eyes to meet his gaze once again.
“Cat got your tongue?” you ask with a raised brow, your tone deeply amused.
He tries to shake his head, but your grip makes it almost impossible. His Adam’s apple bobs when he swallows audibly, and you don’t even try to stop yourself from touching it. The fingertips of your free hand caress his skin tenderly, and you can see that he’s barely breathing at this point.
“You see, Jeno,” you hum as your fingers move up his neck, brushing over his prominent jaw, down his neck to his collarbones and bare shoulders. “All this time I thought that I was so goddamn obvious that you purposely pretended not to notice my behaviour.”
“W–what?” he stutters out, his voice a bit higher than it usually is.
How the turn tables, really. You didn’t even do anything to him yet, but he’s already reacting in such an adorable manner. Jeno is truly delightful.
“Turns out that you simply can’t see shit, and that’s it. No other reason behind it except for obliviousness,” you scoff, shaking your head slightly.
“I–I don’t think I understand,” he murmurs, blinking innocently at you, his long eyelashes brushing his cheekbones.
“You think that I wouldn’t touch you even with the tip of my finger, no?”
This time he tries to nod, but once again the grip on his chin prevents him from doing so. It’d be too easy to answer this way – you want him to use his words, you want him to state clearly what he thinks and what he wants.
“Um, well, yes,” he answers then, the tone of his voice way less certain now.
You can’t help but huff a laugh in the answer. In the meantime, the fingers of your free hand comb through his still damp hair, and it truly feels marvellous to do so. You wanted to play with his hair for such a long time now, imagining more often than not about how he’d sound if you just pulled on them – so you decide to do exactly that.
“Think again then, babe.”
You let go of his chin, and grab a fistful of his locks, pulling his head back.
“Oh fuck,” Jeno whimpers in the answer, his gorgeous neck on full display now.
Once again, you have no idea where to look but for entirely different reasons than mere minutes ago. He’s just so stunning, and you can’t stop staring at him.
“You see, if I had the opportunity to do so, I’d have fucked you senseless plenty of times already,” you hum, your thumb grazing his lover lip teasingly. “I’d make you fucking scream my name.”
His breath hitches audibly, causing your core to clench deliciously. Seeing how responsive he is to your words, your actions, makes you hungry for more. You want him so badly.
“You can’t even imagine what I’d do to you if you just let me, Jeno. You make me go crazy,” you breathe out, leaning forward until your faces are mere centimetres apart. “All this time, I thought you’re not interested in me, and that’s why I never took the first step. I didn’t want to lose you.”
“I didn’t know,” he sighs, closing his eyes as your nails scratch his head gently. “You never reacted in any way to me, I just thought that you don’t see me that way.”
“Such fools, both of us,” you murmur, pressing your lips against his forehead.
A moment later you place another kiss between his eyebrows, then one on the tip of his nose, and on both of his eyelids. You’re dying to kiss every millimetre of his body.
“Do you want me to sit on your lap, Jeno?”
Your lips brush his when you whisper the question, and he opens his eyes, sending you a stare full of emotions. You can see the want in his dark eyes, clear as the day, and a shiver of excitement runs down your spine.
“Yes, please,” he breathes out, his arms already reaching towards you to pull you closer.
As you settle on his thick thighs, his arms circle your waist tightly, holding you as close as he dares to. Judging by his carefulness, he’s still unsure of what’s going to happen next, but he’s clearly not opposed to whatever you’re planning to do. You can’t help but marvel over the wonderful feeling of being in his arms, your body pressed tightly against his. Your breast touching his bare chest, your crotch pressed against his, faces in such close proximity – you can barely think straight. In this position, you can feel his hardening cock through the fabric of his sweats: it’s not completely hard yet but clearly on the high road to be fully erect, and your mind is already in the gutter, thinking about all the possibilities.
“Such a nice lap to sit on,” you say with a smirk adorning your lips, your hips rocking ever so slightly against his.
There’s a mischievous spark in his eyes just before he says:
“Actually, there’s nothing that’s stopping you from settling yourself on them more often.”
Jeno might be flustered as hell right now, there’s no mistake about it, but that sure ain’t gonna stop his sarcastic side from showing. You can’t help but smile widely in the answer, knowing very well that he has a point now that you’re on the same page.
“Glad to know,” you say before gently pressing your lips against his.
You were imagining that first kiss countless times already, but your imagination can’t compare to the reality of his plushy lips moving against yours, the feeling of his strong arms pulling you as close as possible. At first, it’s delicate and slow, but it doesn’t take long for both of you to lose your resolve. The kisses become more hungry with time, all tongues and teeth, his hands wandering all over your body, your fingers in his hair. Soon you’re both completely breathless, and have no choice but to pull away. Your body feels way too hot, and there’s nothing you’d wish for more than to take off your clothes, to feel his skin right next to yours without any barriers.
“I wanted you for so long,” he rasps, panting heavily. “I couldn’t stop thinking about you when we weren’t together, and when we did, it was even worse because I couldn’t be with you the way I wanted.”
You kiss him again and again and again, grinding your hips against his already hard cock, making him moan into your lips. The friction created by the fabric, and the hardness of his shaft, sends little bolts of pleasure through your body. Jeno’s right hand slips underneath your t-shirt, his fingertips delicately tracing patterns on your skin, while his left hand lands on your thigh, moving up towards your butt and down again.
“Jeno,” you sigh, when his fingers brush your breast ever so slightly. “You’re such a tease.”
“Didn’t you already know that,” he answers with a broad smile, his hands touching you everywhere they can reach.
“I suppose I knew,” you chuckle in the answer, shaking your head slightly.
What a perfect combination: easily flustered, and such a sweet man, but with a sassy side, a little bratty even.
“One of the reasons I’m so attracted to you,” you add, your hand slipping into his hair to grab it once again, gentler this time.
“Another one is that gorgeous neck.”
Jeno’s laugh turns into a soft whimper, when you place a kiss just under his ear and start to slowly move down his neck, one kiss at a time. It makes you feels so good that you’re the one making him moan quietly right into your ear, causing his cock to twitch underneath you with such simple actions as kissing his neck, whispering sweet words into his ear.
“You’re such a pretty thing, you know,” you pant out, nibbling on his earlobe.
The way he smells drives you absolutely crazy, and you love the way his soft hair tickle your face ever so slightly. Gorgeous.
“God bless women’s bodies aren’t as traitorous as men’s, otherwise I’d have been utterly fucked a long time ago,” you say with a small chuckle, licking his skin as your fingers rake through his tangled locks.
“What?” he chokes out, his hands now clenched tightly on the fabric of your t-shirt, his breathing heavy.
“You can’t even imagine how aroused I can get just from observing you simply being yourself,” you murmur, peppering the skin of his neck with kisses. “Only I know how many times I’ve got off to the memory of you cooking a diner for me shirtless.”
“Seems like I should do that more often then,” he hums, placing both of his hands on your hips.
“Wonder what would taste better: my cooking or me.”
“Good question,” you laugh, your mind already being flooded with the images of Jeno cooking for you, and you licking tasty things off his skin.
You start to slowly but steadily rock your hips against his, searching for the best angle to get off. When you finally find it, a jolt of pleasure runs through your body, and you sigh his name softly.
“My name sounds so pretty when you say it,” he murmurs into your neck, his lips, tongue and teeth all over your skin.
“Since today, I’ll say it as often as you want me to,” you moan, your head falling back as he starts to massage your breast through the fabric of your t-shirt.
The sounds of moaning, panting and curses fill the room, as the humping becomes more and more aggressive, both of you getting closer and closer to your release. The seam in the front of your pants rubs onto your clit just the right way, especially with his hard cock pressed against it. It feels wonderful to finally be in such a situation with him.
“Fuck, I’m going to cum into my briefs because of you,” Jeno moans, but clearly he doesn’t mind that.
“Next time, I swear to god, I’m coming right into your pussy,” he pants into your ear.
The image that forms in your head pushes you over the edge, and you come hard. While shivers run through your body, Jeno holds you strongly, bringing you even closer as you lazily move your hips, riding your orgasm. You can’t tell for how long you’ve stayed like that, but you sure took your time.
“I think I’m the one whose underwear is ruined now,” you sigh into his neck, when the aftershocks die out, and you can feel your drenched panties in all their uncomfortable glory.
Jeno laughs softly, such a beautiful sound feeling your ears. The feeling of his thick biceps pressed on either side of your waist is certainly something else, and you know that in the future his arms will receive a lot of your attention.
“I’m not sorry at all, but I’ll happily help you take your panties off,” he says, his hands massaging your butt and thighs.
“And the rest of your clothes too, of course. Let’s not forget, I have a promise to keep,” he whispers into your ear, placing kisses all over your head.
You can feel your core clenching in delicious anticipation.
“Indeed, you’ve made a promise,” you answer, a smirk forming on your lips.
“And I promise that I’ll make you scream my name, Jeno baby.”
His cock twitches at that.
“Can’t wait.”

Miles is lying to you.
The signs were subtle at best at first, and you weren’t going to get suspicious or start poking your nose around over a few lies you’d caught him in.
Starting sometime during freshman year, he changed. There would be nights when your messages would go unanswered for hours, extremely rare compared to the conversations you two would have over the phone that would last for hours, which was only when you two weren’t constantly glued to the hip in person. He’d brush off the few times you did question him on what he was up too and you left it at that, but that was only during the beginning.
Things only seemed to progressively raise suspicion for you as time went on. Leading into sophomore year, it started becoming unbearable. You were lucky to get a response from him in less than a few hours, if you got one at all. He was less open about what he did outside of school, and while you weren’t going to interrogate him on what he did every second he wasn’t with you, it would’ve been nice to know that your boyfriend wasn’t actively avoiding telling you what he was up to every once in a while. I mean, you were only his childhood best friend for more years than you could count on your fingers turned lover, who were you to snoop?
Miles doesn’t trust you.
Miles started claiming he was busy more often, meaning less dates and less time you spent coming over to visit. Sometimes you wouldn’t even get to enjoy his presence in class due to the occasional times he’d skip. Compared to how clingy and jumpy he was before, he hardly ever acted shocked when you attempted to surprise him and was reduced to a nervous mess when you’d question his odd behavior.
He gave vague responses when you’d ask why he was acting distant and if you had a dollar for every time he rushed off in the middle of your hangouts with no valid reason you’d be a millionaire. He wasn’t exactly failing as a boyfriend and you didn’t feel any less loved, but it was more than clear that there was more going on in his life that he was keeping from you, and the fact that he didn’t trust you enough to tell you was painful to say the least.
As annoying as it was, you were more than willing to let it slide for the time being as he clearly had a lot going on, and after the death of his uncle you didn’t want to be too pushy with your boyfriend. All of those behaviors you were willing to ignore. At least, until the day she showed up.
Miles is keeping secrets from you.
The sound of loud music blaring from speakers and multiple conversations and laughter surrounding you from multiple directions was almost enough to drown out the rushing thoughts in your mind and the ringing in your ears. Key word: almost. You tried to distract yourself with the drink you’d grabbed in the midst of the party, taking a sip to ease your mind but the juice box only ended up being a source to take your frustration out on, slurping aggressively until the beverage was long gone as you crushed the poor box in your vice grip and tuned in to the two adults that stood on either side of you muttering with poison in their tones.
“She’s probably no good,” Mrs. Morales hissed, arms on her sides and her hands on her hips as she impatiently tapped her foot. “Sneaking off with some gringa then having the nerve to go off with a perfectly good party right here? And leaving Y/N?!” She let out an annoyed huff and muttered under her breathe what you believed were some inappropriate curses in Spanish that would put a Puerto Rican sailor to shame. Without a word she gently grabbed you by the wrist and pried the juice box out of your hand that you hadn’t even realized you were still strangling, tossing it in a nearby trash can and giving you a pat on the head that made you eternally grateful for how kind that woman was. Your subtle anger wasn’t as subtle as you assumed. “I thought I raised a gentleman, that’s more than enough grounds to add another month!”
“You can say that again, and look at how she’s dressed! I say we go put a stop to this right now. It’s good parenting, right? He doesn’t need any more bad influences-” as Miles’ dad began to ramble you tuned out their constant, yet valid, complaints and instead refocused on the scene that had all of you riled up.
Up on the water tower stood your boyfriend, laughing and talking in what seemed to be a really engaging conversation with a girl you hadn’t seen a day in your life.
A million questions ran through your mind every minute. Who was she? What were they? Why had Miles never mentioned her before? Saying you were annoyed was an understatement. There was no way she went to your school, you would’ve recognized her if that was the case and likely seen her and Miles interact before this happened, but that was all negative. You’d let a lot slide before this, but seeing them together just might’ve been your breaking point. What were they talking about? Why is he smiling so much? Does she know I’m his s/o? Does she know he has an s/o?
“-and after showing up late?! I bet she doesn’t even know Spanish!” You forced yourself out of your thoughts, coming to at the end of the conversation and his mother’s angry rant. You didn’t want to wait any longer and force yourself to bite your tongue when it came to your concerns any longer.
“I’m going.” Pushing yourself off of the table you’d leaned back against, you marched towards the tower only for Mrs.Morales to catch your hand, catching up until she was back at her side and her husband joined her, the intimidating glare on her face putting your sour expression to shame. “You’re gonna give that boy hell, do you hear me Y/N?”
You made it to the top before his parents, popping up and meeting Miles’ eyes as he trailed off on his sentence to the girl, smiling at the sight of you only for it to melt away into a nervous grin when he noticed your glare. You pushed yourself over the railing before putting on an extremely forced smile and sticking out your hand to the blond, having yet to even acknowledge your boyfriends presence.
“Hi! My name’s Y/N, I’m Miles’ s/o. You know he has one right? I don’t think I’ve seen you around before and he definitely hasn’t mentioned you, who are you?” You spoke too fast for her to get in a response at first, resorting to hesitantly shaking your hand and nervously chuckling when forced to practically yank her hand away from your unknowingly strong grip. “The names Gwe- Gwanda! He’s mentioned you before, a lot actually,” she snorted and elbowed Miles, to which he gave a pointed look. “Practically drools over you too, he mentioned this one time he stayed up all night-”
“Ooookay that’s enough of that!” Miles cut her off and stepped between you two, leaving you to wonder what she was going to finish that sentence with. The revelation of him constantly talking about you would’ve been enough to make you a stuttering mess if you weren’t still extremely upset. You wouldn’t exactly call yourself the jealous type, you had full faith in the fact that Miles only wanted you and would never break your trust or your heart like that. However, you didn’t know what else to possibly think with everything that had been going on. “Great! That’s just great! Lovely meeting you-” you hissed, despite the conversation just barely starting.
Miles’ mom popped up just after you spoke with a happy greeting that was seeping faux cheerfulness and a plastered on grin, introducing herself and starting to engage in conversation alongside his father when he appeared seconds later. Hearing Gwanda call them by their first names was enough to make you wince, and not wanting to stick around to hear what would come after, you got your boyfriends attention.
“We need to talk.” He got no further explanation before you grabbed him by the sleeve and pulled him towards the ladder, leaving his questions of what your deal was and what you needed to talk about as you climbed down the ladder. He had no choice but to follow.
As soon as you were far enough on the roof from the rest of the party and Miles, you turned on your heel to face the boy and the ends of your lips tugged into a frown, crossing your arms.
“So, what’s the deal? Did I…did I do something wrong?”
Miles looked at you dumbfounded, searching for a place to awkwardly place his hands before resorting to sticking them in his pockets. “I- what? What are you talking about?”
“Don’t play dumb with me Miles!” He flinched. It wasn’t often you lost your temper, and he knew that. Whatever you were on about was clearly more serious than he had assumed. “First you’re always busy, then you’re not being honest with me, now you have secret friends too?! It’s like you’re a completely different person!”
His hands shot up defensively, and just like before, his nervous started appearing. “No- you’ve got it all wrong. I’d never-” “You’d never what? Lie to me? Don’t even try to feed me that bs.”
Miles shifted nervously between both of his feet, and you could almost see the gears shifting in his head to try to come up with an appropriate response. It was unusual to see your boyfriend so unable to talk to you, it made you anxious.
“Look, Miles. I get it if you’re out doing something that could get you in trouble, you don’t have the cleanest record. I’m not here to tell you what you can and can’t do, but I am here to support you. I don’t understand why you keep hiding things from me! Your parents I can maybe believe, but me?” You hoped he hadn’t noticed the way your voice cracked in that sentence. “What’s even the point of me being here for you if you’re not even going to tell me what’s going on?”
Your chest felt heavy but your shoulders felt lighter, the relief of finally getting what’s been on your mind for many months seemingly lightening the load. It didn’t stop you from getting emotional over it, however. Tears pricked the corners of your eyes and you continuously clenched and unclenched your fists.
Miles couldn’t describe the guilty feeling weighing him down in that moment, the frown on his face and uncertainty in his eyes making that clear. He reached to grab your hands, his own being slightly sweaty but he wasn’t too worried about it at the moment, intertwining his fingers with your own. “And that girl! How do you even know her?! Your parents don’t know her, she doesn’t go to our school, for all I know-”
“I promise it’s nothing like that.”
“Then what is it, Miles?”
“I…” he trailed off, biting his bottom lip as you looked at him with expectant, almost desperate eyes. He couldn’t bring himself to meet them and his gaze fell down to his Jordans. Even then, he couldn’t muster up the courage to spill his secrets to you. Not even one, but at the same time a plausible lie or excuse didn’t come to mind, maybe for good reason. “I can’t tell you. I swear on my life I’m not trying to hide anything, you gotta believe me, I do need you! But I can’t have you involved. It’s just not the right time.”
Then when is?
Any trace of hopefulness in your eyes disappeared and your face fell. Miles felt his heart sink down to his shoes, letting go of your hands with fingers traveling up your arms until he cupped your face on either side, using his left thumb to swipe away a stray tear that threatened to fall from your eye. Being the source of your despair was a dreadful feeling, in fact he hated it.
Your fingers wrapped around his wrists and you flashed him a bittersweet smile before pulling his away from your face. “Miles, I love you,” you started, and he gave a halfhearted smile that would normally leave you swooning over his pearly whites, “but I can’t keep doing this.”
The smile disappeared faster than it had shown itself, and you could feel him tense up in your grasp. “What? What are you saying?” The fear of a prompted break up on your end after those words kept him on his toes. His gut twisted itself into spirals and loops, the back of his head throbbing from the tension as he unknowingly bit the end of his tongue.
You let go of his wrists, grabbing the collar of his jacket to pull him forward and leave a tender kiss on his cheek. “Hit me up when you’re ready to tell me the truth.” You offered no explanation before pulling back from him, speed walking back through the crowd and towards the door to head home.
Miles was left dumbfounded, standing with a blank expression on his face and the urge to shove something out of frustration yet kicked the ground as an alternative. Looking back towards the water tower, he eyed his parents and Gwen having what seemed like a tense and awkward conversation, moving to join and hopefully separate the three, but the only thing on his mind was figuring out how he was going to win back your trust.
Tumblr media
Not enough music could distract you from the turmoil going on inside you head, yet still you mindlessly hummed along to the upbeat music blasting through your earbuds as you walked home.
Was this the end?
No, you kept your mind far away from that harmful thinking. Technically, you hadn’t broken up with Miles, had you? It was open ended, whether or not you two worked out solely depended on if he was willing to tell the truth or not. You hated to entertain the thought of him being so willing to keep a secret from you that your relationship would end over it, but seeing how things had gone, it couldn’t be ruled out as a possibility.
The air was chilly as the sun met the horizon, and you stuffed your hands into the small pockets of your pants. On a normal day, Miles wouldn’t have let you walk home alone. You would’ve walked hand in hand, laughing and talking the entire way down the streets about any and everything that came to mind. The two of you would’ve skipped and you would find yourself silently watching his feet to match his footsteps, meanwhile unbeknownst to you Miles would notice and slow down so you could. At the end, you’d stand at your door and bid him farewell, sharing a goodbye kiss as if there were a chance you’d never see each other again before he gave a cheesy compliment and promised to see you in the morning, flashing you a smile before you walked in and he rushed back home.
The thought made you grip the fabric in your pockets, torn between smiling at the memories or frowning at the fact that today wasn’t the case. Today wasn’t a normal day.
Instead you walked home alone, nothing but the sound of music to keep your ears full but to you the air was still more silent than ever. Instead, you made it home alone, quietly fishing for your keys on your doorstep while cursing yourself for not cleaning out your messy bag, so invested in the search and the music that you didn’t notice the walls and ground behind you begin to change, flashing in different textures and colors that ranged in shape and size. Finally getting a grip on the keychain, you pulled it out with a small triumphant smile. Noticing the shifting colors approaching your feet, you turned around, unable to process the glitching textures or register the “flight” in your fight or flight response before a large gaping hole emerged from the colors —and with a cut off scream— sucked you into it.

Steve was going to kill Jonathan.
He had to save the guy’s life first, but once he did, Jonathan was a dead man.
Skidding around the corner, eyes wild, Steve only slowed down when he could visually confirm that he had in fact, made it in time.
“Whoa, hey.” Jonathan said. startled as Steve nearly crashed into him, dropping the paper plates he was carrying to his backyard. “What’s wrong?”
“You-” Steve huffed, breath coming out in sharp bursts and man, wasn’t that a sign that he’d been slacking lately on his workouts? “You need to--”
“What’s happening?” Will interrupted, sensing trouble-- and running immediately towards it as always, El trailing behind. “Are you okay?”
“No.” Steve growled, hands on his knees, glaring up through his hair. “No, I am not okay. Jonathan won’t be either if he doesn’t go inside and stay there for at least the next twenty minutes.”
He slowly stood, his general fitness allowing him to regain his stamina quickly even if he had been neglecting it.
‘I’m sorry I ever stopped going on bi weekly runs.’
“What?” Jonathan asked, at the same time Will and El said;
“Why?”
Steve turned his attention to Will, startled to find the kid was almost taller than he was. That was  a train of thought for a different day, because right now he was still focused on keeping Jonathan living and breathing.
‘The shit I do for these people.’
“You guys remember Gareth?” He said, staring pointedly at Jonathan.
Ah yes, there was the little wince he was looking for.
“Gareth?” El asked, voice soft as Will stiffened visibly besides his brother.
Steve nodded, still glaring Jonathan down. “You know, Gareth. Skipped a grade, Brown hair, part of the Hellfire club, got his ass kicked by Carver’s asshole buddies because he’s super close to Eddie?”
“Steve--” Will started, staring at him and not at his brother's hunched shoulders, the very first sign of guilt in a Byers.
(Among many other things, but Steve knew Jonathan better than he knew Will, and those?
Those were guilty shoulders.)
“Your brother,” Steve interrupted, making sure the sheer annoyance in his tone came through, “--decided to have a talk with Gareth.”
He  put his hands on his hips, doing his best to communicate ‘you done fucked up’ with his own face. “Eddie found out and is on a rampage.”
A fact he had been alerted to by Gareth himself, after the poor kid had called him from Eddie’s shiny new government supplied house, begging Steve to stop Eddie before he made the situation worse than it already was.
(Considering Eddie’s paranoia and general protectiveness was still ramped up to a hundred even now, six months after all the Vecna bullshit, Steve didn’t blame Gareth for calling it like it was.
Eddie absolutely would make things worse.)
There was a very long pause, in which Steve got a front row seat to several different Byers expressions.
First was confusion, followed quickly by realization, and then the slow dawning of horror as Will cued in to exactly what his brother had done.
Meanwhile; Jonathan’s hunched, guilty form took on the look of something a bit more pinched.
Like a soccer player who had clocked that the ball was in the air, hurtling dead towards his face, and all he could do was stand there and take the hit.
“Oh.” El said, her head tilted comically, correctly reading her brothers faces. “Gareth is the boy Will has a crush on.”
She turned to peer Jonathan, Will’s face managing to somehow go redder at his sister's words.
“The talk Jonathan gave him was like Jim’s talk to Mike.”
Implied: That talk broke the two of them up.
Implied: Said talk was now firmly rooted in El’s head as a bad thing.
Implied: Jonathan was screwed.
“That’s not good.” She finished calmly, as Will whipped around to confront his brother.
“What the hell!?” He shrieked, voice cracking right in the middle as Jonathan raised his hands defensively.
“Look, you’ve been through a lot, and-” He started, only to be immediately interrupted by a furious;
“That’s not an excuse!”
Will advanced on him, sticking a pointed finger in Jonathan’s face, a whole tirade of words pouring out of his mouth. “I can’t-I can’t believe you! I told you about Gareth in confidence! You told me I could tell you anything, Jonathan!”
Steve raised an eyebrow, impressed to find that baby-Byers could actually be intimidating when he wanted to be.
He was pretty sure it was the height.
“Scream about it later, get inside now please.” Steve said, trying to cut Will’s attempt on Jonathan’s life off.
Personally he didn’t care if the guy’s own brother murdered him, he just didn’t need Eddie to catch a charge.
Again.
The very thought coincided with their time ending, as a furious screech of wheel’s and muffled metal roared into the Byer’s driveway. The car wasn’t even off by the time Steve heard the door slam, Eddie’s stomping footsteps loud enough for Steve to track him as he came around to the backyard.
“Hey, El?” He said, as he turned to face down his furious boyfriend. “Tell Will I’m on his side for this one, would you?”
El nodded politely, a smile overtaking her face as she watched Steve match Eddie’s stride, aiming to head his boyfriend off.
Kid probably knew what he was going to do before he did it, the little shit.
“Get out of my way, Steve-!” Eddie bit out, stopping only so he could point to where he wanted Steve to move to.
Sadly for him, Steve had a different plan.
Instead of slowing down, he simply bent at the knees, wrapping his arms around the back of Eddie’s thighs and putting his shoulder firmly in Eddie’s torso. He had to withhold a grunt to do it, the step- to kneel-to carry was not as smooth as it used to be when Steve was in proper shape and throwing girls around like footballs, but he managed to get Eddie over his shoulder anyway.
“Hey!” His boyfriend squawked, as Steve smoothly continued walking, right back out of the Byer’s backyard, Eddie hanging over his shoulder.
“Steven Reginald Harrington, put me down right now!” Eddie shrieked, the words only slightly tangled with Will’s own;
“You’re DEAD Jonathan!”
(and Els’ gentle laugh, of course.)
