drarry fic recs loosely based on my post: fics where harry has a praise kink / draco's dirty talk makes harry's brain fuzzy and needy.
i especially love fics where draco calls him "sweetheart" or "darling", so cute and hot when he says it so naturally, feels so intimate and loving.
mostly pwps and dmhp fics.
***
the way you say my name by innerlilith (5k)
the inspiration for this post... the reason why my brain chemistry transformed, the reason for my obsession with sweet pet names. their relationship develops in such a real way, the banter is so drarry. you can feel the sexual (and romanticl!) tension build and build until it breaks and the climax is SO satisfying. also really love draco's "unhinged flirt" characterization. harry getting so hot under the collar is just *chef's kiss*.
far from the tree by aideomai (112k)
reason #2 for this post. it's THE fic. need i say more? you just have to read it. draco can't believe harry would want him, yet he's posessive and can't let him go. harry's obsessed and will do anything to protect him. throw in some angst, mystery, kinky times, next gen kids, draco calling harry "darling" (and subsequently changing the trajectory of my life), and voila! a masterpiece.
dinner and diatribes by hephaestiions (5k)
legilimency sex is SO UNDERRATED. another fic that altered my brain chemistry and lives in my mind rent-free. established loving relationship, with draco knowing how to help and ruin harry. be his peace of mind and make him crackle with sexual need and wild magic. it's a truly delicious fic that is filthy, intimate, and comforting. "to forever and a day" is such a devastating declaration of love.
back where we began by cassiara (25k)
oh. my. god. the way it's slightly teacher/student dynamics but not really, combined with accidental bonding and sorta legilimency because harry is impulsive and curious and obsessed with draco's voice in his head. like??!
stamina spells pleasure by lettered (10k)
bonkers multiple orgasms fic with dom draco and magical spells for sexy times! when i say harry deserves to be RAILED and reduced into a needy little mess, i mean this!
knot your average coworker by @thecouchsofa (22k)
werewolf draco and oblivious harry! subtle praise kink, great feisty banter. sweet and hot fic about harry's desire to care for draco, and draco being baffled by that. also, harry's obsessed with his knot 😏 that is all.
bonus fics (not so much about praise kink):
the earth from a distance by spqr / @andthepeople (15k)
genius and competent draco and action-oriented, need-to-be-useful harry! masterful world-building about 16th century hogwarts, lovely speculative twist on life in the past. survival-based co-dependent relationship turned into intimate & loving romance.
paragraph twelve, clause four by innerlilith (15k)
innerlilith knows how to write lust and tension with longing and gentleness. this is all about quidditch player harry and his sexy bodyguard draco, with a silly premise of hearing your love/hate crush wank loudly next door. the scene where draco begs to see more and how his words make harry turn into a puddle... the push and pull, the burning need, you just have to be there, the build up is so worth it.

Tumblr media
The royal life.
The poor desired what came with royalty. Wealth, status, comfortability, security, love, and even. Whatever that may be. You envied those who weren’t a part of this life.
The corset underneath your, while stunning, uncomfortable gown suffocated you while you danced with yet another new suitor who had traveled across the seas to Rockridge Palace. Prince Jeffery Williams had been the sixth — hopefully final— prince to attend yet another one of these balls that the king and queen insisted they throw for you and your suitor to get to know one another.
Prince Jeffrey would not stop talking about himself as you slow danced and it was driving you up the wall. He was somehow incredibly louder in volume than the live orchestra.
On top of his ability to talk about all of his successes, which you were sure were entirely made up, he had wandering eyes… and hands. You shouldn’t have had to move his hands from below your hip back up to your waist as many times as you did.
After the third time and disgustingly cocky smirk, you had enough. Out of impulse, you raised your foot to slam it down onto his boot-covered one. Jeffrey let out a squeal that made you smile to yourself but quickly put on a feigned expression.
“Oh dear, Prince Jeffrey. I-I must have two left feet.” You place a hand over your heart, gasping as if you didn’t deliberately harm him.
Prince Jeffrey folded over to hold onto his now throbbing foot, face turning a beat red as he forced out a chuckle. Every other maiden and man that surrounded you both had stopped their dancing to stare and gape at the scene.
“I feel faint. I must go lie down.” Prince Jeffrey excused himself, smoothing down the front of his deep navy blue tailcoat. “Until we meet again, Princess.”
“Until then.” You bow with the fakest of smiles before clearing your throat.
Jeffrey scurried away to his guest room in the palace, his own personal guard following right behind. The music resumed, much louder than before as you locked eyes with your mother from across the grand room conversing with Jeffrey's mother.
You could feel her anger radiating through her heavy breathing and sudden excusing herself from the queen of Jeffrey’s kingdom. Other townspeople moved themselves out of the way as your mother swiftly made her way towards you.
There was a slight chance you may have gone a tad far with the aggression.
“Oh, sweet pea,” your mother sing-songs as she approaches you, hands folded elegantly in front of her torso, “Is it time for bed then?”
You knew there was a hint of anger laced in her sickenly sweet words. It wasn’t to fool you, though, but the surrounding guests. There was no fighting her, at least, at that very moment.
“Mother, I do feel quite drowsy. Would it be alright to head to bed?” You plaster on the same faux smile, sucking in a deep breath.
“I would highly suggest it. Now, go on then. I must tell these disappointed guests that the ball must come to an end.” Her smile unknowingly dropped as she ended her sentence.
You nod your heavy head, turning on your heels to make your way out of the grand ballroom to your bedroom. As you keep your head down to avoid the wandering eyes and whispers of: ‘Where’s the princess going?’ and ‘What happened with Prince Jeffrey?’. You hear footsteps trailing behind you, turning your head slightly to see the one person who could stand to be around in this entire palace.
“What did Prince Jeffrey do?” Isabel, your handmaiden and only friend, questions who as she sped up to walk side-by-side with you.
You sigh, retracting the groan that was threatening to escape.
“He was a conceited and handsy idiot just like Walter, Arthur, Abraham, Edmund, and Bennett. I couldn’t stand him, Isabel. They are quite literally all the same.”
Isabel visibly frowns, nodding along to your words. You tilt your head up to glance at the dulled hallways of the palace. Paintings of your family line hung up along the velvet red walls — four-time great-grandparents in order down to you and your elder sister; Moira.
“Well, this has already been the sixth suitor. The King and Queen already said that you had to decide by your twentieth.” Isabel carefully reminded you, fiddling with the string of the front of her simple yet beautifully fitting dress.
“That’s just it. I don’t have any desire to marry. Especially to men like that.” You seethed, approaching your high bedroom doors.
The divine vine and floral gold design decorate the dark wood. You wrapped your fingers around the handle to tug it open, grunting softly at how heavy the door was. Isabel quickly rushed to your aid, pulling the door backward. You thanked her quietly before marching into your room.
“Is there anything I can do?” Isabel kindly asked you, only wanting to make sure you were feeling okay.
“If you could just help me get out of this ridiculous dress.” You let out a groan which caused the green-eyed woman to chuckle.
“Of course, princess.” Her tone was teasing as she approached you from behind to begin undoing the laces that were keeping the corset tight on your aching body.
You huff out a soft laugh at the words as you insisted multiple times that you hated being addressed as Princess by the maidens, knights, guards, and kitchen staff that lived in the palace. Especially Isabel. She was more than just your handmaiden and personal attendant, she was your friend that you cared for.
Once she unraveled the last lace, you breathed correctly for the first time since your mother and the other maidens forced you into the constricting dress. She patted your tense back with a sigh.
“Better?”
Nodding through a soft pant, you say: “Incredibly.”
You both chuckle as you gradually sit on your large mattress.
“Anything else you may need?” Isabel questions as she stands next to you on the bed, torso meeting your temple.
Your eyes soften at her question, calming down as you take in a deep breath. You take her soft hands in yours, shaking your head.
“You’re too kind to me, Bel. I think I should just lie down now. You should rest as well before I have to endure whatever my parents will say tomorrow.” You nod, your voice is equally as gentle to her.
Isabel nodded, not having much more to add to the conversation. It was now entirely too late for either of you. The sun had been set since the ball began, the darkness taking over the once bright blue sky.
“Well, we’ll speak more in the morning.” Isabel nodded curtly, giving your hands a single squeeze.
“First thing.” You nod, releasing her hands.
Sharing one more smile, you watch as she leaves your grand room. A lonely feeling settles in your chest as you begin to undress for the night. You knew in the morning you were going to endure your mother and father’s scolding and lectures about how to not ‘embarrass their lineage’ and how ‘childish’ you were.
If you were silent enough and held your breath, you could hear the voices from the ballroom; disappointed and angry with the event ending early. Maybe you had gone too far this time with Prince Jeffrey.
No, he was not appealing by any means.
Left in your slip dress, you slowly crawl underneath the silky sheets covering your large mattress. Once your head laid down on the sheets, you fell into a familiar exhausted slumber.
Tumblr media
You were awoken from an empty dream by the morning horns, the sun's rays beaming in through the tall windows near your bed. You sat up quickly, pushing your frizzy hair out of your face.
Without any sort of warning, you hear your bedroom door swing open. Following in were three of your usual maidens who helped you get ready in the morning. Isabel then trailed in soon after, flashing you a quick smile as you appeared extremely tired.
“Morning, princess.” All three of the maidens speak in unison causing you to quickly put on that fake persona.
“Morning, Mildred,” you nod towards Mildred; tall and blonde. “Vivian,” her baby face and dark skin shine as she bows. “Beth.” Her fiery hair shone in the sunlight as she, too, bowed in respect towards you.
“The king and queen have called you in to share some crucial news in the throne room,” Mildred speaks up, eyes boring into yours.
Your brows furrow immediately at the different choice of words. After incidents like last night, it would be the same from either of the girls: “The king and queen are requesting your presence.”
News? What news could there possibly be?
“Well, I should get dressed then. Can’t have them waiting too long.” You nod slowly, removing your now warm bed sheets from your body.
Isabel rushed to your wardrobe as Beth scurried to your side to help you out of bed.
You were exceptionally privileged and you were aware of it. Especially in these instances where you could easily dress yourself and make up your room but the maidens did it for you. It makes you feel lazy and useless.
“This dress should be perfect. Not too tight around the waist and flattering.” Isabel approached you with said dress in the palms of her hands, grinning kindly.
You trusted her so you thanked her quietly, allowing them to take over.
Within minutes, your tossed sheets were made finely by Mildred and Vivian. Isabel and Beth helped you into the dress, making sure your undergarments were hidden by the other fabrics.
The fit was quite pleasant, you must admit. The front was a bit lower than you had thought but you had rarely been so comfortable in your wardrobe without it just being those undergarments.
Your natural hair flowed down and over your shoulders, a black ribbon tied to keep half of it out of your face. A few flyways escaped but you enjoyed how it frames your face. The girls clamored around you, hands on every part of your dress to smooth out wrinkles.
God forbid the princess appear imperfect in any way.
Once they had finished getting you ready, they left the room, leaving you and Isabel to walk down the beautifully decorated halls to make your way to where your presence was requested.
“Do you have any idea what this news could be?” You mutter softly, eyes locked on Isabel’s side profile.
“I’m not sure if it’s true but apparently in the late of the night, the king and queen discussed assigning a knight to look over you,” Isabel whispered as her eyes darted to the line of knights that were passing by the two of you.
The metal clanked as they walked in an orderly fashion. You assumed it was for training as they tended to take about two hours to train before standing in their assigned places around the castle.
“Look over me?” You asked in disbelief.
You weren’t a toddler that needed to be looked after. You already felt your blood boiling as you were approaching the grand archway of the throne room.
“That was all I heard passing by Linda and Nina in the kitchen this morning.” Isabel quickly whispered.
Linda and Nina were older women in the kitchen who, although talented in the kitchen, gossiped about you constantly. You assumed it was jealousy of either your title or your youth.
Your eyes darted from the high marble archways to the gold-lined thrones that sat both of your parents. Your attitude was already set in place as you walked up just a few feet from them. The stomping of your everyday flats echoed against the floors, revealing how irritated you already were.
“Father—“ You began with annoyance laced in your tone.
“No!” His deep voice echoed, cutting you off as he slammed down his staff.
Out of the corner of your eye, Isabel flinched at the loud sound. Your breathing was heavy as you maintained eye contact with your father. He didn't scare you as he did his overly dramatic actions.
It only increased the amount of hatred you had towards him. Your mother remained silent, glancing at your father before flickering her eyes back to you.
“I am going to talk. You are going to listen and not interrupt me. I have had it with this… humiliating attitude you’ve decided to put on.” Your father seethed, a vein on his neck protruding. “Prince Jeffrey is a guest in our kingdom and you embarrassed him. This temper is childish. You will be twenty by mid-July and you’re behaving this way. Moira had not been so stubborn about her suitors as you have.”
You felt your nostrils flare as of course, he was blaming you for the way Prince Jeffrey had reacted last night. It was never a man's fault, no. Only you and your temper. Throwing you and your elder sister’s differences in your face as well wasn’t unheard of.
“You must formally apologize to both Jeffrey and the Queen effective immediately.” Your mother intervened, her tone rather calm in comparison to your father.
You remained silent, simply nodding to her words. There was no point in arguing as you knew they were going to shut you down. You watched as your parents exchanged a look before shifting in their thrones.
“Now, because of your rather upsetting actions the night prior, your mother and I have chosen a knight to make sure this doesn’t happen again.” Your father sucked in a deep breath before continuing his words. “Dame Callahan will be your knight.”
Your eyes narrowed as you heard ‘dame’ instead of ‘sir’. There were very few knights that were women so you were automatically expecting there to be a man. You knew of Sir Callahan as he was a noble knight that you’ve known since you were a child but not Dame Callahan.
“Sir Callahan has a daughter?” You question, folding your hands in front of you.
This was certainly news to you. You weren’t even aware that he had a wife to begin with, let alone a secret daughter.
“Indeed. Now, she’s only had her knight status for a year but hopefully, you’ll adapt to her professionalism. Learn from her.” Your mother answers, her brows raising at you accusingly. “She should be arriving any minute now.”
As if right on cue, you hear the horns from the guards outside echo faintly. You turn your neck to glance at the hallway that leads to the main entryway doors.
“Well,” your father cleared his throat, “Let’s go and properly greet them, yes?”
Your eyes locked with Isabel who was already peering down the hallway where you all were headed. You approach her with a forced grin, locking your arm with hers as you take your time walking towards the grand entrance. Her eyes soften as she knows you are feeling a range of emotions about this whole arrangement.
“How are you doing?” Isabel hums, trying to keep quiet as the king and queen are just a foot behind you two.
“Other than absolutely infuriated,” you suck in a deep breath, tilting your head at the freckled woman, “Alright.”
Isabel nods, not knowing what to do now. You knew you were being short but you didn't want to say something you didn't mean out of anger towards the kind woman. You simply pressed your head to hers gently to show you were listening.
“I’m sure Dame Callahan won’t be as difficult as your parents are.” Isabel sighs, keeping her volume quiet. “You might even like her. Make a new friend that isn’t me.”
You gape at her words, nudging her with your hip as you both chuckle to yourselves. You cherish these fleeting moments of joy, holding onto them to keep for your worser days.
“What are you insinuating?”
“Nothing.” Isabel shook her head, her laughter fading as the front door guards were now holding the heavy wood open.
You glanced at Isabel once more before releasing her arm to walk past the guards in their uniforms of the castle's flag colors, watching as they bowed as you and your parents passed by. You nod in response before stepping out on the open staircase, the sun’s beams burning into your skin.
Rounding the corner of the gates was a person on a dark brown horse — borderline black. You feel Isabel’s tense presence along with your father’s looming figure and your mother’s petite one.
You fixed your posture, taking in one deep breath as you awaited her arrival.
“Oh, sweet pea, this dress was not the most appropriate choice.” You hear your mother utter as she judgingly ranks her eyes up and down your frame.
“I can’t change now, Mother, so it’ll have to do.” You snarkily replied, eyes locked ahead of you.
You didn't have to be facing your mother to know she did not appreciate your response. Letting it go for now, you, your parents, and Isabel begin to wave at who you assumed to be Dame Callahan. The stranger knight tugs on the maritangle causing the horse to stop in its tracks right in front of the impressive stone steps.
Callahan begins to make her way up the steps, giving you a better look at her.
It had to have just been you, but you took in how perfect her skin appeared as she grew closer. You could feel Isabel’s eyes burning into the side of your head, clearly waiting for some sort of reaction to Dame Callahan.
First, she greeted both of your parents addressing them with their assigned greetings. Her voice was velvety, charming almost. You waited patiently for her to greet you, hands flexing anxiously by your sides. She didn't appear knight-like as all she was wearing were a pair of black boots, a simple commoner-appearing outfit, and a leather belt that held her sword in that same leather material.
“Princess,” she addresses you before kneeling on one knee, gingerly taking her hand in her gloved one. You tense as she leans her head forward to place her lips on the back of your hand.
Her eyes peer up at you, her dark lashes highlighting her alluring blue eyes. You hadn’t uttered a word yet, completely forgetting all the words you’ve ever known. Dame Callahan releases your hand once she notices how eerily still you’ve become.
“Princess, I’ve heard a lot of things about you,” Callahan speaks again, adjusting the belt on her waist to respectfully smile at you.
Has she already let go of your hand? You thought to yourself. You feel a sharp bone drive into your lower back which causes you to inhale, becoming aware of what was going on. You caress the hand that she had kissed before holding your hands in front of your hips.
“I hope they were all good things.” You reply, regaining your proper posture.
“Yes,” Dame Callahan replies, a small chuckle leaving her lips. “Though, they surely forgot to mention your beauty.”
You blink. Did she just compliment you? It could be an out-of-respect situation. Kissing up to you as you were certain that your parents weren’t that kind with informing Dame Callahan about being assigned to you.
“Oh, well,” you nod, feeling out of your own body. “Thank you, Dame Callahan.”
“Of course, Princess.” She, again, responds with such a poised attitude.
You were feeling extremely conflicted about Dame Callahan. A part of you wanted to get to know her; starting with her first name. Another part was admiring her side profile as she spoke to your father and mother. Why were you admiring her in the first place? You weren’t entirely sure.
“Well, Dame Callahan could settle into her new manor as we prepare the welcome lunch.” Your mother spoke up which caught your attention. “Sweet pea?”
You blink and turn to your mother to see her waiting impatiently for you to say something. Dame Callahan’s head was tilted with furrowed brows as you seemed to be zoning in and out of the conversation.
“Oh! Right! I can show you where you’ll be staying.” You send Dame Callahan a short grin, afraid to stare at her for too long.
The new knight nodded, respectfully bowing at both of your parents and Isabel before stepping to the side to allow you to go first. You begin to make your way down the steps as the manor for the knight's living space is a tower away from the main palace. The hot sun beeped down on your skin, a cool spring breeze brushing past your flowing hair.
The whole walk to the manor was eerily quiet. Neither you nor Dame Callahan were making any form of small talk. All you could hear were the horses huffing a few feet away in the stables, the clinking of metal from the other knights in uniform, and the chirping of the birds in the surrounding trees.
Your shoulders brushed for a mere second as she walked alongside you. You could see from your peripheral stealing glances at you like she wanted to say something but not uttering a word. To be fair, you were doing the same thing.
As you approach the large wooden door, you turn to her as you pause right in front of the entryway. She, too, pauses her steps with you, eyes locking on your face.
Why was her stare burning into you more than the sun? It felt so intense.
“This is the knight’s manor. I will see you around the lunch hour then.” You say.
Out of fear of flushing in her presence, you avoid pouring your eyes into her bright ones.
Dame Callahan nods, and a crinkle between her brows forms. “Is everything alright, princess?”
“Yes, of course. I think I’m just hungry.” You nod slowly, a nervous smile forming on your face.
Could she see right through you? It sure seemed like it. Callahan simply nods, knowing better than to press on such a matter, especially with a princess.
“Right, yes. I’ll just…” She trailed off, pointing to the door.
Your eyes followed her finger before a wave of embarrassment washed over you. A nervous laugh left your lips before nodding and waving your hand towards the door.
“Until lunch then.”
Dame Callahan’s lips quipped into a smile that seemed endearing. She placed a hand on the iron ring and tugged the door open. She bowed ever so slightly.
“Until then, princess.”
The door shut with a loud clunk, flinching at the sudden noise. For the rest of the morning, all you could think about was the way she said ‘princess’ towards you.
Lunch-time arrived in the middle of an etiquette lesson with Mrs. DuBois. The bells went off causing you instantly slouch in your seat. Your back was killing you from how aligned you were forcing onto yourself.
“We’ll continue this lesson tomorrow.” Mrs. DuBois sharply tapped at your back to get you to straighten your posture. “Though, I do not understand the point of this. You slouch so much, you are becoming a hunchback, princess.”
You send her a tight-lipped grin as you smooth down your dress. Isabel was waiting patiently for you in the corner of the room so she could walk you out.
“Lunch calls.” You force a laugh out.
Mrs. DuBois, unamused, nods before turning her back towards you and Isabel. You frown at her obvious attitude before motioning with your head towards the door. Isabel got the hint and gave Mrs. DuBois a quick goodbye.
Once they were out into the hallway, you began to chuckle with Isabel at how stuck-up Mrs.DuBois was.
“She said I have a hunchback, Bel. How dramatic is that?” You scoff, shaking your head.
“I swear, she’s never once felt an ounce of joy in her entire life.” Isabel added on, rounding the corner.
You two are giggling when you walk into the enormous dining hall. You could smell the delicious stew the staff had cooked for you all. You caught sight of Dame Callahan already sitting at the elongated table.
Right in front of your seat next to your mother.
“She’s sitting right across from me.” You slow down your feet, growing anxious to approach the table.
Isabel furrowed her brows, following your eyes to see Dame Callahan already conversing with your mother. Unable to comprehend what was wrong about that, she asks: “Is that bad?”
“No. Not necessarily. Just…” You trail off as you approach the table with Isabel.
You couldn’t even think of a valid excuse for how you felt about her place at the table. Why was she doing this to your mind? Maybe it was the thought that from this point forward, she was going to be quite literally around every corner, near you around the clock from dusk to dawn.
Sure, Isabel was already that but she had been around you for years. Dame Callahan was new and a stranger.
“Oh! Sweet pea, we were just discussing what exactly Dame Callahan will be doing whilst being your knight.” Your mother looked over at the intimidating knight, an overly friendly smile on her face.
You glance at your mother before taking your place right next to your father, Isabel sitting on the other side of you. All of the bowls of steaming hot beef stew thankfully distracted you as you patiently waited for your father to signal that it was okay to eat.
By that, you meant ‘the king always eats first.’ Once he took his first sip, you began to dig in shamelessly.
“So, Dame Callahan,” your father started, voice deep and booming.
“Yes, sir?” She perked up, eyes wide with patience.
“Your father never mentioned your name.” He plainly stated.
You, too, were curious about her first name, eyes darting over to her sharp features that were highlighted by the sun peeking in through the large windows. Her eyes flickered to you, strangely enough, before uttering her name.
“Hazel, your majesty.” She nodded, a smile forming on her perfectly pink lips.
Hazel. It suited her, you thought. Its simplicity was beautiful.
“It’s a lovely name.” You confess, sending her the least awkward smile you could muster.
Hazel’s eyes locked with yours. Her smile matched yours; genuine and kind.
“Thank you, princess.”
You break eye contact first, feeling overwhelmed by the intensity of her stare. You continue eating, eyes dancing from person to person as they add to the conversation. After everyone listened to how Hazel’s journey was to the kingdom, it was around the same time that everyone was finishing up their bread and stew.
“Well, I believe this is the first time you’ve not spoken during a feast,” your father speaks up, eyes locking on yours.
“I don’t have much to say, father.” You quip.
“You’re not always that way, sadly enough.” His tone was quite obviously degrading and meant to humiliate you.
You prod your tongue into the inside of your cheek, wondering why he was starting this right now. Hazel had just arrived and he was already trying to pick a fight with you.
“Oh, your majesty, it’s alright. I think I’ve talked enough for now,” Hazel quickly buts in.
You glance at her, furrowing your brows at her unexpectedly. She was looking directly at your father for just a moment before sending you a soft look.Your father hadn’t replied back to Hazel’s quick words but you feared he might. You straighten your back and clear your throat as you stand up, smoothing down your dress
“I’m feeling full now. May I leave the dining table?” You stare expectantly at your parents, hoping they would just let you this one time.
Your mother simply nods as you turn to Isabel who had already finished her meal. She took that as a hint to leave as well, nodding respectfully towards your parents and Hazel. Her familiar arms lock with yours as you walk down the hallway to venture to your room.
“She seems nice.” Isabel spoke first, looking at you for confirmation that you felt that same way.
You didn’t know what to feel.

“I came here to talk to her.”
There’s no speck of kindness left in Sae’s eyes when he looks at what’s left of his former lover. He doesn’t even notice you sauntering up behind him.
“How many times do I need to tell you to leave us alone?” Sae emphasises that last part, uncertain of how else he can possibly phrase it so that she makes herself scarce.
For the first time tonight, Mirin doesn’t even pay attention to Sae. Her eyes look past him, focused entirely on you.
You take your position next to Sae, feeling his hand tenderly grip onto your wrist. At the very least, it gives you comfort knowing that he’s here no matter what’ll happen. Though, judging by the ever slight panic you can make out from Mirin’s face, whatever it is isn’t pretty.
Mirin doesn’t say a word, only stares at you expectantly. Swallowing your ego, you nod subtly. You’re curious.
“I’m sorry,” comes out of her mouth, and you don’t know how to feel. There’s a lot of things she needs to be sorry for, but that’s your personal feelings. Somehow, you doubt it’s related to anything with regards to Sae.
“If that’s all you came to say—”
“Do you know about your parents?” Mirin ignores Sae again, instead looking to you.
Sae’s about to just shut the door in her face when you tug on his hand, stopping him. He’s perplexed by you, but he listens to you just the same.
“Yeah, barely. What about it?”
Because Sae did tell you briefly about it, about his suspicions on what they’re trying to do. You have to admit, having Oliver and his family’s PI stalk your parents wasn’t on your bingo card this year. And what he’s suspicious of never even crossed your mind. Only because even if they aren’t the best parents in the world, you didn’t think that they’d actually let any harm come upon you.
To think, they would try to take all of the money, not only their own but yours too, in order to save their own asses.
Mirin almost looks like she doesn’t want to say anything, her fingers grasping tightly and desperately on the hem of her dress before opening her mouth and making your heart sink to the depths below.
“The police are coming and it’s my fault and I know I haven’t done anything to earn your trust but can you please let me handle it?”
She says it all in one breath. Hurriedly without pause.
Are the police already that close?
“What the fuck, Mirin?” Sae spits, his grip on you tightening as he pulls you behind him, the vein on his forehead close to popping.
Mirin swallows the lump in her throat and you’re left staring in a daze behind your husband, wondering what you’ve done that was so wrong that you deserved this; your parents, a scorned and jealous ex-lover, legal threats.
“Sae, please,” Mirin’s panicking and you wonder why that is. Correction, you can sense why—it’s plain old regret. Regret caused by rash actions done on impulse. “It’s my fault, I know but we don’t have time. Tabito’s trying to stall them but they’re coming.” Her eyes flicker over to you, and you’d think she’s beautiful if all you’re seeing isn’t just red.
You feel the injustice creeping up inside of you, threatening you to take action. “And why the hell should I trust you?” Your tone is harsher than you ever thought you could go, and even Mirin shrinks back at the venom she senses laced inside your words.
And usually you’d feel bad for it but someone has already called the cops on you for something you didn’t do and that someone is right in front of you asking you for the same trust she wouldn’t have afforded you if the roles were reversed. If you didn’t have any self control, you’d have slapped her by now.
Mirin’s about to say something when she hears seven tight raps on the door. As Sae reluctantly moves away to open the door, Mirin whips her head towards you one last time.
“Please.”
The last thing she deserves is a chance. You know that. Both your head and your heart are in the same place for once and yet why can’t you act on it? Why can’t you just tell her to shove it up her ass?
“Y/N,” Sae calls your name, hushed because you presume he’s just as cautious as you are.
Slowly, you nod your head, signalling for him to open the door. You don’t know what Mirin is planning, or whether all this is part of her evil plot to take you down somehow.
When the door opens, you see Sae’s friend, Karasu, stepping in first before a detective, a dirty blonde with dark circles under his eyes like he hasn’t slept for days. Behind him, two policemen stand guard, watching you cautiously, as though you might try to jump out the window just to run from them.
“Are you Y/N?”
The detective is addressing you, and you’re sure he’s only doing it out of courtesy because these people always do their work before nabbing their supposed targets. Beside you, Mirin steps one step forward, her earlier panic expertly masked by a puzzlingly professional expression. From your line of sight, behind where the detective stands, Sae tries to move toward you, only to have Karasu reach out to grab his wrist and keep him there, a subtle shake of his head as the only signal for him not to make any moves.
“I am,” you respond, because any under or overreaction would only prove to make you look guilty.
“What is this about, detective?” Mirin asks, a casual aloofness donned on her face now. You’re impressed by just how quickly she can change her moods.
“Oh, it’s you, Ms Seto,” the detective says, realising who she is, and you don’t doubt how influential her father’s been to all of Japan with his work. Immediately, his face softens and brightens up, as though it’s imperative that he stay on their family’s good side. He probably assumes that just because Mirin’s here in this hotel room that she’s close to you. “We received an anonymous tip regarding Ms L/N’s family here, as well as her possible involvement. We’d like to take her down to the station for some questioning.”
So that’s what Mirin had done to you. She had tried to pin part of what your parents are doing on you, too. You nearly scoff if not for the fact you know that the two policemen behind are watching you like a hawk. Mirin is the one who scoffs though, crossing her arms like she’s been through these situations a thousand times.
Beside you, any trace of guilt is absent from Mirin’s expression because apparently, and you don’t doubt it, she’s a very good actress. If it’s up to you, you’d say that her talents are wasted since she’s not one. And while your stubborn ego wants to solve this for yourself, you’d never even gotten in trouble with the local police before for anything, and something tells you that Mirin is way better than you are at this, so you keep your mouth shut and let her handle this like she asked.
“So you have no proof of any sort that she’s complicit in any illegal activities?”
The detective chuckles helplessly, like he expects Mirin to be that attentive. “No, not until the anonymous tipper provides us with what they say they have.”
Mirin’s expression falters just slightly for a split second before she’s back to normal. “So no concrete proof, then?”
“No, ma’am.” The detective seems a little laid back around her—are they family friends? Sure seems like it to you.
“Then I’d appreciate it if you don’t treat Y/N here like she’s some sort of criminal. We wouldn’t want anyone seeing her being escorted into a police car and making assumptions, would we?”
Behind him, Sae seems to have relaxed a little, lacking the earlier blind hostility he held. Maybe it partly has to do with whatever Karasu whispered to him right before this. Still, he’s as surprised as you are that Mirin’s committing herself to covering for you.
“Fine, we’ll meet at the station then,” the detective says, the mirth still on his face as he bids a temporary goodbye.
When all that’s left are the four of you, Sae immediately takes his place beside you, his hand possessively gripping your wrist, an accusatory look thrown in Mirin’s direction. “You did all of that just to mess with my wife?”
Mirin’s expression falters when he uses that term again, for you, because deep down, she still wishes for it to be her. She still wishes for that guy she fell in love with and made all those plans with to be hers. Hers, and no one else’s. But it’s evident enough that no matter how much she tries, even if you somehow ended up dead, it would never be her. He’d rather wait for the ghost of you than live with anyone else.
Karasu walks over, settling himself between the divide. He’s the one who seems the most sane, given this has almost nothing to do with him. “Sae, leave it for now,” Karasu advises, blocking Mirin’s line of sight. You presume he’s just doing it as a favour, maybe to simmer Sae’s anger, because you can feel his hands trembling with rage even as they hold on to you. “We need to get Y/N to the police station before this gets any worse for her and her sister.”
Your throat goes dry. “My sister? She’s been taken in too?”
How ironic that you were doing all this just to protect her from the harsh reality that your parents never loved either of you.
Karasu nods apologetically. “My sources say she was taken in about half an hour ago, but discreetly.”
The passive anger that was only settling on the surface seems to finally boil over, and you thank god that Sae is holding you back from possibly harming Mirin. Otherwise, you’d have probably punched her right now.
“I’m… I’m sorry.” Her voice is timid and she’s trembling but you don’t hold an ounce of appreciation for her earlier actions nor sympathy for her current emotions. This was all because of her. Her, and your parents, and you doubt you’re enough of a saint to forgive either parties.
“If anything happens to her, I’ll make sure you regret it.” Your words are a warning, and Mirin takes them in silently.
Maybe you have been too nice, and way too passive. To the point where people like Mirin felt like they could try their best because they had nothing to fear. At the very least, it still comforts you knowing that Sae was never trying to get anywhere with her. If not, it was the very opposite, though you still didn’t appreciate his lack of communication.
“Hey, I’ll drive us there, okay?” Sae tells you softly, his hand tugging yours gently, briefly washing the anger off of you. When you face him and nod, he smiles, his hand coming up to place your head against his shoulder as he walks you to the car, Karasu and Mirin trudging wordlessly behind. You let him lead the way, finding an odd sense of comfort, different from before.
Now, you know that Sae will protect you unconditionally. He’s been doing it up until now, even when you weren’t his favourite person. Despite his shortcomings, despite the fact that he had no obligation to, Sae was always on your side.
And maybe now you can see a glimpse of the future you imagined, the one where you get unconditional love, the one where you can see a happy family who’s not just obsessed with money. A proper one, with its very foundations built on love and not control over another.
When you get to the carpark, you see Mirin getting into Karasu’s car, and you silently thank him for going out of his way to get involved in all of this. The last thing you need is to be able to see Mirin in the rearview mirror of your husband’s car, sitting there as though she deserved any sort of comfort. If you could, you’d stuff her in the trunk and tell her to deal with it.
However, even without her there, both of you stay relatively quiet. Maybe because neither of you have ever been in this type of situation; neither of you know what to say. Even so, as he pulls in to the parking lot of the station, he takes your hand, squeezing it gently, his teal eyes gentle as they fall into your gaze.
“No matter what, I promise you, I’ll protect you, okay?”
You don’t doubt his words. You nod, squeezing his hand back, tightly because you’re more nervous than he is. You’d probably have to face the interrogation alone, or at the most with Mirin, and who knows what she might pull in there?
“Hey, hey,” he calls out to you softly, his other hand coming up to your cheek and turning you to face him, his forehead pressing against your own, eyes still locked on yours, his smile the gentlest you’ve ever seen. “We’ll get through this. Whatever you decide, whatever you want to do, I’ll take your side, okay baby?”
Maybe it’s the way the pet name so easily rolls off your tongue, but you still find your heart skipping a beat at such a simple gesture.
“Ready?”
You take a deep breath, nodding.
“Ready.”
Tumblr media
While you’re in the room with Mirin and the detective, Sae finds himself pacing the waiting room restlessly despite Karasu’s attempts at calming him down.
The raven-haired man cocks a brow, amused by what he sees because Itoshi Sae of all people getting restless is always interesting. Usually, he doesn’t even get to see Sae bothered at all. The last time he saw that sliver of emotion was, well, back when Mirin left.
“Dude, relax, your wife will be fine.” That’s all Karasu can offer now, pointless words of assurance. Though he can argue he’s been plenty useful when calming Mirin down back at the hotel.
Sae shoots him a warning look. “With Mirin in there?”
Karasu sighs, leaning back against the wall, staring at the ceiling. He doesn’t recall knowing when exactly things got so fucked up between them.
“Look, I don’t know what the fuck was up with her, I’ll be honest,” Karasu explains, the only person there with any hint of pity for Mirin. “She fucked up, she knows. And you don’t gotta forgive her, really. If it were me I’d have handled it much less classier than your wife did. But trust me, Mirin’s trying to make up for it right now, okay? We can’t do anything so relax.”
Silence falls over them for a while, the sounds of the landlines ringing and clacking of keyboards the only things they can hear.
“What did you say to make her regret it?”
Because Sae’s at the very least curious about why she was so quick to rescind her punishment for you.
His friend shrugs, “is it hard to believe it could be something as simple as realising she didn’t wanna lose you completely?”
The earlier hostility leaves Sae’s body, only a bitter upset lingering behind. Because he can believe it, because at the core, Mirin’s always been simple. The way she acts out, not so much. She’d already alienated Sae by having been the object of his affection once, and that was not her fault, but she’d exacerbated it by acting completely out of line. On the tip of her impulsiveness was just the last chance to either possibly redeem herself or risk thorough destruction of whatever was left of their entire relationship through the years.
Maybe it’s heartless of him, but he doesn’t care. Yeah, he should’ve handled it better in the beginning. He should’ve just told Mirin that he doesn’t want to be someone who wrecks his own home, even if it didn’t feel exactly like home back then. But you didn’t deserve the anger she placed onto you. After realising his feelings, that was where he drew the line.
He doesn’t give a shit if Mirin woke up and regretted her actions. He doesn’t care if she’s trying to make up for it and save you. All he cares about is you and just you.
Sensing the tension in the air, Karasu forces a lighthearted chuckle. “What kind of magic does Y/N have to make someone like you so whipped, huh?”
There’s a pink hue to Sae’s cheeks at the mention of it, forcing him to look away as Karasu snickers at him.
“Look… don’t get mad, okay? But… do you think it’s possible she knew about it all?”
Never in his life has Sae’s fingers curled into a fist so fast, nails digging into his palms so hard, and Karasu has to throw his hands up in the air in surrender. Both of them know that if anything happens, they’re going to be recorded—and then the media will see it. And then everything will be taken out of context.
It’s routine at this point.
“She had nothing to do with it, so shut it.”
Does Sae know for sure that you don’t? Of course not. He doesn’t have evidence to support you, except that your parents left you behind. If your family’s really twisted, it could all be a part of some ploy. But Sae likes to think he knows you; you’re not sick or twisted. You’re kind and beautiful and trustworthy that he’s not even going to entertain the idea that you knew anything.
It isn’t long after that Sae spots you walking out of the interrogation room, down the corridor and back out to him. For the most part, at least you look fine. You’re trembling a little, so he clasps his hands over yours, holding you to him and kissing the top of your head.
“Hey, you doing okay?”
You can only manage a weak nod, but that’s enough for him. This situation can be a bit much for anyone. He holds you close like that, his warm body cloaking your own. You hate how it’s so easy for you to calm down when he’s here with you, and even if you’d like to condemn him for making such a whirlwind for your life you know it’s not technically his fault.
It was your parents who forced you into this marriage, or else you’d never have met Sae at all. It was Mirin who took it upon herself to try and ruin everything when Sae had refused her. And it was definitely your parents who took all their money and ran before they could get caught for multiple counts of fraud and embezzlement.
All Sae ever did was save your own money, all thanks to making that joint account. Otherwise, your parents would’ve made off with your money too, leaving you with no cent to your name, all properties seized.
You hold him a little tighter now, the tiff over what you thought was going on between him and Mirin seeming so stupid in comparison. Your own parents abandoned you and your sister, looked at you as just a pawn to get what they wanted. You don’t even know how you’re going to face Sae’s parents now that this happened.
A minute later, Mirin also waltzes out of the room, her feigned arrogance still present because the detective is still there. You gaze at them out of the corner of your eye; things only went so easy there because Mirin played her family’s cards right, and now both you and your sister are free to go.
In normal situations, this is where you thank her. But nothing about this is normal, and this was a situation partly borne out of Mirin’s impulsiveness. So all you manage is not paying her back with a slap.
“If you hear anything—”
“We’ll call you,” Sae cuts the detective off, his grip around you getting tighter.
Even if everything had been rocky earlier tonight, you find yourself comforted by the way you just know that Sae would protect you no matter what. You don’t even have to ask him, and he’d do right by you. For a moment, you wonder if this is the kind of unconditional love you’d always wanted.
“Hey, are you okay? Wanna go now?”
Sae’s voice is softer than you thought he could ever be, and all you want to do is melt into his embrace without thinking about anything but unfortunately the world is never so kind and neither is your mind because there’s a thousand questions running through it.
“Where’s my sister?”
“I got her to wait in Karasu’s car with her boyfriend. His car has more privacy and I thought it’d be best if no one outside could picture us.”
Right, because there are already some reporters who got hold of the news and are waiting right outside to ambush you into answering their questions. It’s all sorts of fucked up but you presume your parents are worse so you can’t really say anything.
Sae starts to lead the way to the carpark, his hand never leaving your side. He makes sure to look around, make sure nobody’s there to ambush you. Behind you, you can hear Karasu whispering things you can’t hear, probably to Mirin.
“That would mean there won’t be any space for her, right?” You ask, your mind still doing flips back and forth between being the bigger person and being petty about it. Because you’d love to be as ruthless as she once was to you, but ultimately, you don’t want to feel like you owe her anything.
As you reach the car, Karasu unlocks it, and Sae opens the back door, your sister sound asleep on the other side, her boyfriend muttering a soft ‘hello’. They both look tired, and you don’t blame them. At least you had Sae to warn you about what was going on, but to them it must’ve been a shock, especially for your poor sister who’s always been sheltered against the horrible things your parents could do.
“It’s fine, she can take the train,” Sae mutters, purposefully loud enough for Mirin to hear and hopefully get the hint.
Karasu’s about to suggest otherwise, but you interject—you’re pretty sure you’re the only one Sae will listen to now anyway. Even if Karasu tries to say anything, there’s a high chance that it’ll go ignored.
“She can sit in the front,” you say, because despite knowing better, it’s always been in you to try and be nice.
“Thank—”
“If she ends up getting pictured, it could blow back on us anyway,” you mutter coldly, because being nice doesn’t mean you have to make it apparent. There’s no one here you have to impress anyway, and Sae probably knows you’re just trying to hold it together for yourself, so you won’t have any regrets.
Like you predicted, Sae’s not all for it, but he doesn’t say a thing, following after you into the backseat, squeezing and trying not to wake your sister. Mirin doesn’t say a thing the whole way back, she only thanks Karasu for driving her back and leaves. Neither does Karasu say a thing, awkward silence hanging in the air as you catch him casting quick glances at you and Sae in the rearview mirror.
“Thanks for taking care of her,” you whisper to your sister’s boyfriend as he carries her out of the car. You didn’t get to talk to her all night, but that’s fine, you suppose she needs a long rest after everything she found out tonight.
He shoots you a helpless smile after he presses a kiss onto her forehead. The way he looks at her alone could make people believe in love, and you’ve never been more thankful that you tried your best to protect it. Among everyone, your sister’s always been good and kind, and even if you’ve never seen her around that much after university started for her, you love her all the same.
“You sure you don’t wanna wake her?” He asks you, quietly so he doesn’t disturb her. “She said she missed you, you know.”
You shake your head. “It’s fine, I’ll call her when things settle down,” you assure him, managing a genuine smile. “Take care of her, okay?”
Behind you, Sae smiles to himself when he figures out he must’ve married an angel, must be the luckiest man in the world. Despite everything that’s happened, you should be taking care of yourself, yet you managed to make sure Mirin got a ride home, and that your sister is in good hands. You’re a much bigger person than Sae can even dream to be and yet somehow, you chose to put all your effort into him and this marriage and even if he can’t tell where this will go from now on, he’s not going to give up on you.
When Karasu pulls out of your sister’s apartment parking, Sae slides over to your side, sitting himself on the middle backseat, putting an arm around you and gently placing your head in the crook of his neck. Then, only then, do you let your tears go, sobbing into his chest because you’d been holding back all this time, and Sae wonders if you do this a lot on a daily basis; put on a brave face as though you need to pretend you’re something you’re not. Though, if this was happening to him and Rin, he would be doing the same thing you are.
In the driver’s seat, Karasu finally understands why Oliver’s been saying Sae is a changed man. Even back then, with Mirin, Karasu doesn’t recall Sae being this gentle. Maybe it’s because he’s older now, or maybe it’s just because of you—the fact that it’s you, that’s why Sae is like this at all, a privilege only for a special person.
“Hey man,” Karasu calls out to Sae after you get out of the car. He smirks when Sae looks over at him, very much like a hopeless man in love because out of the corner of his eye, Karasu can tell that he has his hand in yours, keeping you there. Since when was he ever this clingy? “Congratulations.” Something he didn’t get to say because he wasn’t at the wedding.
But at least saying it now, he can really mean it.
Sae smiles subtly, but your head pops back into Karasu’s field of view before your husband can say anything.
“Hey, Karasu, right?”
He looks surprised, but he smiles at you all the same. “Yes, I am.”
You grin at him, and Karasu can already tell Sae’s a lucky man. Pretty wife, and from whatever Oliver’s mentioned, it sounds like you’re a keeper.
“I just met you tonight but… thank you, really,” you tell him, and he chuckles.
You’re really something, because even Mirin had mentioned it to him earlier when she was having a full-on breakdown, when he had asked about you. Karasu thinks that it would just be a lot easier to think screw everyone and just focus on yourself, but apparently, not for you. Maybe he understands a little more of why Sae can’t help but fall for you.
“That’s a lot of shit to unload on someone who didn’t exactly steal Sae from you,” Karasu remarked, trying his best to steer Mirin in the right direction.
Mirin clicked her tongue, annoyed because she knew she wasn’t exactly acting with common sense. All she had wanted was to remove you from the picture, through any means necessary. So why? Why was it that whatever she tried would backfire on her? Why was it that no matter what, Sae would never give up on you? Where was the guy that so easily gave in when Mirin had suggested a breakup?
Why did she have to teach him everything only for you to get everything she ever wanted?
“Look, I don’t know what you’re thinking, but if you keep doing this…” Karasu trailed off, sighing as he looked away, scratching his head. “You’re really gonna lose every ounce of a friend you could possibly have in Sae.”
Mirin kept quiet for a while, then, as if she was considering something. Back then, Karasu hadn’t even known that anonymous tip she sent in to the police. If he had, he would’ve definitely acted faster.
“Is that Y/N even that bad of a girl?” Karasu thought out loud, wondering why there was all this trouble over you and Sae.
And for the first time since she got back to Japan, Mirin was completely honest with herself.
“No, she’s not.” (It was so quiet, Karasu had trouble deciding whether it was just the figment of his imagination.)
Because what had you ever done to her except unwillingly be placed in the middle of their by-then non-existent relationship?
“At your service, ma’am,” Karasu responds, grinning at you when he says his next words. “And don’t worry, I’ll keep Mirin in check.”
You still for a moment hearing those words, then pout at him before you slowly retreat out of the car, pulling Sae with you. You’re not even sure why you can find it in yourself to be worried for someone like Mirin who tried to screw you over. Maybe it’s because Sae had told you about her parents, about how she just didn’t have anyone and leaned on Sae for support out of habit. Somehow, Karasu’s words manage to comfort you a little bit; at least you knew that there was still someone else looking out for her. Your empathy is there, but that doesn’t mean you want to forgive her or even think about it.
Karasu laughs at your subtle reaction, rolling down the window, “hey Sae, your wife’s kinda cute,” he teases, and you see why Karasu managed to calm Mirin down back at the hotel. Whatever he did, it was definitely effective. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that he oozes sincerity despite his jokes, something you can’t really say for Oliver and Shidou.
Beside you, Sae uses his body to block your line of sight as he flips Karasu off. “My wife, go away,” he quips, and you can only watch as Karasu laughs it off while he drives away from your apartment.
The moment you’re back in the house, Sae sets your bag down slowly on the couch, and you pause right before you enter the bedroom. Everything somehow feels light yet awkward and it feels like you’ve been through so many emotions in the span of one night and now it’s already 2am and you’re tired but it’s not like you can sleep right away with all these thoughts in your head.
You feel Sae’s chest press up against your back, his arms wrapping around your chest. Now that you know he’s never actually even cheated on you, or even thought about it, it’s like a huge weight has been lifted off your chest.
“What’s on your mind?” There’s a strain in his voice, and you can tell he’s gotten a cold just from tonight alone.
You sigh. “I don’t know if I can handle all of this…” you mutter honestly. Everything has just been too much. It was manageable back when you thought your marriage was the only thing in ruins, but to learn now that your parents are wanted fugitives and the fact that they’d leave you and your sister to clean things up and bear the brunt of being damned just for being their kids is a lot to take in for one night.
“You know I’m here for you whatever you need, right?” Sae asks, holding you tighter, pressing a kiss on your temple.
You want to be soft for him so bad, you want to melt into his touch and let him comfort you and hug him to sleep, but can you really afford it right now? Can you afford letting him feel that everything is fine after keeping everything from you and driving you to the point of thinking about divorce?
It’s not normal. It shouldn’t be.
And while you appreciate what he’s done for you in secret, that’s exactly what you’re not so sure about—secrets. You’re husband and wife, and if there’s going to be any hope moving forward, you can’t have him try and bear the burden of knowing alone.
“If you ever keep something like that from me again, I’m not giving you another chance,” you tell him, your voice quivering but he listens to you seriously all the same. It’s times like these where you appreciate that he isn’t the type to be joking around all the time. He’s serious when you need him to be, and that means a lot to you already.
“I promise you, I’ll talk to you, whatever it is,” he says, slowly turning you around, his fingers gently gripping your chin, tipping your head up to face him. “I meant what I said, by the way. I love you, Y/N, and I’m sorry I was being stupid. And I’ll try to make up for it, however long it takes me, okay?”
This is a first for you that it makes you emotional. For your entire life, you feel like it’s been you who’s been the one trying to take care of other people’s feelings and needs so much that you step all over your own. For your entire life, no one has cared about you so much so that they’d actively try and take care of you. Everyone lets you take care of everything yourself without thinking that it’d be nice to offer you help even if you looked like you didn’t need it.
For your whole life, you’d wondered how it would feel like being loved by someone who wants to take care of you just because. And here he is, making you feel like you’re loveable, like you’re worthy of being treated like a princess, like you don’t have to mask who you are to get his love because no matter what you do, his love overpowers it.
“So don’t leave me, okay?” Sae’s lashes flutter against your own, his teeth clenched because he’s thinking of how close he was to losing you and he would’ve never forgiven himself if you did.
And maybe it’s the way you realised he’s loved you in his own way all this while, or maybe it’s the way he keeps you so close to him now, so afraid of losing you, that you feel it’s okay to let yourself go, to let yourself be you, to wear your heart on your sleeve because no matter what it is, Sae will take care of it.
“I love you, Sae,” you whisper, both of you with your eyes closed, breaths mixed together, Sae subconsciously pushing you into the bedroom because he never realised that such simple words from you would ignite such an urgency inside him.
That night, for the first time, you experience Sae’s love for you. The way it’s so subtle, so gentle, a complete opposite of what you initially thought he was. The way he holds you in the palm of his hands and takes care of you completely; a dream you thought you’d never live to see come true. So many people go their whole lives being stuck in a relationship that they find lacking and yet here you are, getting everything you need and want and you don’t even have to ask for it because Sae knows you well enough to give it to you.
In the dim light of the moon that makes it into the slivers of your blinds, Sae marks you as his own, and even though neither of you have been through it, it feels right. It feels so right even when you’re lying in bed together after everything, legs tangled together underneath the blanket, bare bodies enveloping one another as the exhaustion finally kicks in.
Sae watches you as you fall asleep, finger lightly brushing your arms and lulling you to sleep. There’s a lot he still doesn’t understand about relationships, and the only form of experience he had seemingly meaning nothing in the face of his actual love, yet he’s strangely motivated now. There’s no way he’s going to let anything, much less himself, fuck this up.
No, he’s going to do his best to keep you happy, to take care of you and make sure you don’t have to be the one who acts strong all the time just to appease everyone else. He’s going to make you smile everyday because you deserve it, and he’ll do anything to make sure that happens.
Anything.

“She had nothing to do with it.”
Of course, Sae’s parents didn’t take too well to the news. One night isn’t enough for it to blow over, because the moment they got the news, they were here to get to the bottom of it. As expected, you received nothing but accusatory remarks, and unlike Mirin’s, at least Sae’s parents had the right to be upset.
Still, Sae’s standing up to them, a protective arm keeping you behind him, making sure they don’t throw daggers at you.
They’re angry, but they’re not as bad as your own parents. At the very least, his father isn’t throwing a tantrum and breaking silverware. Doesn’t even look close to it. He only crosses his arms in disbelief, the vein on his forehead threatening to pop.
“Are you sure you want to defend her?” He asks his son, scoffing. “You know how bad of a reputation we have now thanks to her parents?”
“He’s right, honey, if you want to divorce her now we’d fully support you,” his mother joins in, and she’s every bit as submissive as your own mother, you bet. Anything for their money bag.
“I’m not divorcing my wife ever, so if that’s all you came to say, you can leave.”
Suddenly you feel guilt for being the one to bring up divorce in the first place.
The argument goes on for a while, and you keep quiet all through it. Only because Sae asked you to. It’s fair; he wants to handle his parents, so you’ll trust him to it. If there’s a need, you’d interject anyway.
Like right now, when you realise that maybe your silence is making things even worse, like your admittance of guilt.
“I’m sorry for what my parents did,” you speak up, bowing ninety degrees because as much as you hate their actions, you want to help Sae as much as you can. He must hate talking to his parents as much as you do, so the least you can do is alleviate that. “I really didn’t know what they were up to, and I didn’t expect it to affect your family’s reputation as well. I can’t even begin to repay you for what my parents did, but I can offer you everything I have now, and I’ll do anything you want me to.”
“Then easy, leave—”
“Except leave your son,” you affirm, straightening up and looking them in the eyes. “We love each other, so we’re going to make this work.” Beside you, a smile tugs on the corners of Sae’s lips at your declaration. Are you really the same person who used to be so meek in front of yours and his parents once upon a time? “As for my parents, I’ll let the authorities do their work and capture them. As far as I’m concerned, they’re dead to me.”
Perhaps it’s because of your strong words, but the Itoshis leave not ten minutes later.
You flop down on the couch, an exhausting morning followed by an exhausting night is entirely too much for you. Sae shamelessly lays himself down on top of you, head resting on your chest. He must still be tired, judging from the bags under his eyes.
“Sorry about that,” he mumbles, fingers absentmindedly playing with your hair. “You were pretty hot, though, sticking it to them.”
You stifle a laugh, though your smile speaks for itself. “Guess we should’ve expected that. They got conned out of their money too, after all. Wonder when this is all gonna blow over,” you sigh to yourself, just wishing that the problem would disappear.
Over the course of the next few days, you received texts from colleagues asking what happened, and Sumi in particular loves to cuss your parents out over text and then apologise for being insensitive afterwards. It carries a sense of normalcy that you needed, though.
It takes a few months before everything completely settles down for you, until your sister has come to the realisation that your parents abandoned you and deserve whatever hell they’re going to get. It doesn’t stop her from saying yes to her boyfriend when he proposes, and you and Sae watch on lovingly as she leaps into his arms and kisses him silly.
“You know what, a family like this doesn’t suck so much either,” you ponder out loud. All you really need is just your sister, and Sae—both of them have never failed you after all.
Sae puts his arm around you, holding you close like he always does. You notice that; that when Sae loves you he’ll crave your proximity everytime. Sumi likes to joke that he’s too clingy, but you like him just like that.
Seeing the scene unfold in front of them, your eyes twinkling as you watch the movie-like proposal in front of you, Sae feels just a pang of guilt.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t give that to you,” he mutters, though he already knows you don’t mind. To you, what matters the most is that the both of you are still together, still happy.
And that’s exactly what you say with your hands wrapped around his neck, kissing him with those perfect lips of yours, pulling him in so naturally without having to do anything.
“You give me more than enough, Itoshi Sae,” you whisper, oblivious to Sae falling even more and more in love with you.
“Have I told you I love you?”
You chuckle, nodding and Sae’s completely taken by your grin.
“We love you too.”
“We?”
And when you break it to him, in a hushed whisper because you don’t want to ruin the proposal, Sae gives you the most lovestruck expression you’ve ever seen.

THREE YEARS LATER
A lot has changed.
Turns out, you’re not as cold-hearted as you thought. Mirin is still on the list of your least-liked humans, for sure, but it’s not like you care enough to harbour any resentment anymore. She’s not worth vexing over, and much less so after that one time years ago when she came over to personally apologise. You haven’t officially forgiven her, but you don’t particularly wish the worst upon her. You’re not even sure where she is or what she’s doing because Sae doesn’t care for keeping in touch with her, but you’re both indifferent about her now.
Reo had apparently met someone special last year when he attended a charity gala. You’ve never met her in person, but from the pictures Reo takes and shares on his socials—all to show her off, no doubt—she looks absolutely breathtaking. He was there with you throughout the whole fiasco too, lending his family’s support to weather you through the tough times. You’re happy he finally found that special someone. From his texts, sometimes it seems rocky, but he’s “pretty sure she’s the one,” and you’re honestly happy for him.
Your parents have been caught—apparently, a year out they’d tried to seek shelter with one of their friends only for them to tip the police off. It wasn’t even like you, but you visited your mother in jail, just out of curiosity, and the only thing she had begged you was to help them get a good lawyer. Not that you didn’t expect it, or that it would make any difference if you did agree. Frankly, you just went there to say “no”, to let her feel the same helplessness she and your father cast upon you. You’ve never visited her since.
Sae’s been busy ever since his career shift two years ago. (His parents weren’t all too happy about it, but ever since their screw up with yours, they weren’t as forceful anymore.) Now, he’s one of the assistant coaches for Japan’s national team, and you’ve never been happier for him. It gives him more flexibility too, getting to spend more time with you back at home, but also getting to invite you with him whenever they travel.
You guess it’s lucky that you managed to land a spot helping the team out with marketing, so more often than not you get to see your husband play some soccer. Like right now, when you’re bent over the railing, watching him coach the two main midfielders and looking completely different than when he’s at home.
For one, it’s definitely the first time you get to see him all intense. With you, he’s pretty much the opposite, going all soft whenever he gets home, and you wonder how you got so lucky to be building a home with someone who loves you so much he can spot you a mile away and give you the gentlest smile you’ve ever seen.
Sae calls for a break, jogging towards your direction looking handsome as hell but you’re not going to tell him that or else he’ll tease you about it.
“How are my girls?”
Oh, and you’ve apparently managed to give him a daughter that looks so much like him. She sits on the railing, your arms wrapped around her to support her as she jumps into her father’s arms.
“She’s been bugging me all day to come and visit you,” you remark.
Yeah, she’s a daddy’s girl—and you smile watching Sae kiss her all over, her laughter ringing in the air, her happiness meaning the world to you.
Neither you nor Sae have ever experienced what a good family is like, nor have either of you seen what good parenting is like. But your daughter seems happy everyday, with parents who support her whenever she wants to try something different, so you both take it one step at a time, learning as you go. If it ever gets too difficult for you, Sae steps in, and he’s never let you down.
“Remember what we’re gonna surprise mommy with later?” Sae asks your daughter, and you’re still trying to get used to him calling you that.
You arch a brow, “I get a surprise?”
Your daughter giggles, nodding as she melts in her father’s arms. “Of course, mommy! You’ll love it!”
Her smile is infectious, a grin forming on your face just by looking at her. You shift your gaze to your husband. “What is it?”
All he does is look you in the eyes, smirking. “You’ll see.”
That night, you entertain your daughter by letting her blindfold you and lead you, well, wherever the surprise is. It smells nice, wherever you are because you’d been blindfolded even during the car ride, and you can tell it’s grand because of the way your heels are clacking against the marble and the way Sae had dressed tonight.
By your guess, you’re probably at one of the nice hotels here for one of their signature buffet dinners. Your daughter’s never been, so that could be why she’s making a huge deal out of this. Like father, like daughter, so cute.
But when your daughter urgently whispers for you to take the blindfold off, you find yourself at the entrance of huge double doors, two hotel staff smiling and opening up to unveil a huge ballroom filled with people, most of them you recognise because they’re your friends.
It’s already bringing tears to your eyes when you realise what this must be.
They’re all cheering as they see you, your daughter skipping happily into the room, choosing to run straight to your purple-haired best friend at one of the tables who you thought was still busy abroad. Beside him, his beautiful girlfriend mouths a ‘hello’, but you’re still too surprised to respond.
Everyone’s clapping and cheering and all of a sudden you feel the familiar presence of your husband right beside you, his arms wrapping around your waist as he kisses you on the cheek.
“Surprised?”
Honestly? Yes. Very. And you’re not one to be easily surprised at all.
“I wanted to give you the celebration you deserved,” he tells you, waiting for you to take it all in.
It’s a far cry from the pathetic reception you got from people you barely knew during your actual wedding reception. Sae had been nothing but cold to you back then too, so it felt more like a prison than anything.
Now? You recognise so many faces in the crowd that you can’t help but smile and wave back. You’d always wondered what this would be like, and your husband somehow manages to give it to you without having you ask for it and you’re in love. Because he seems ice cold and awkward and rough around the edges but his love for you has always, always been warm. His love has always felt like coming home and having a safe space and this might be the unconditional love you’d been praying for your whole life.
You almost gave up on it. But you know now Sae never will. And neither will you. You have a family now, a proper one built by two people who never had a stable environment, by two people who never came close to being provided one themselves.
Sae’s your pillar of support, and you begin to see now that you’re his.
Now you know it’s true what they say; you don’t have to beg for someone’s love if they truly cared about you, because Sae has always gone the extra mile for you every single day. You don’t have to act like someone you’re not just to please them so they don’t leave—because no matter how many disagreements you have, Sae is always there to listen to your point of view. You don’t have to beg someone to treat you right if they really love you, because Sae’s been actively choosing you ever since the day you got married, and whether it’s intentional or not, you think you’re the luckiest person in the world.
And now you can’t be happier; you have a wonderful daughter who has two parents who absolutely love her. You have a husband who takes care of you in every single way, loving you in every essence of the word. You have friends like Reo who would burn the world if it was ever unkind to you and dance with you atop their pile of bodies. You have everything you could ever want and you couldn’t have seen it without Sae by your side.
The do-over of your wedding reception is perfect. So, so perfect, and it’s almost hard to believe it’s the product of Sae’s ideas. He doesn’t even particularly like celebrations like this but he did this for you, for both of you, and being able to make your daughter be a part of it is like icing on the four-tiered cake he had ordered.
“I’ll love you forever, Y/N,” he whispers suddenly into your ear as you guys are making rounds at the tables.
You accept the kiss from him, flashes going off as you smile against his lips. “Yeah? What if it falls apart?” you ask, teasing him, though you never thought he’d answer you seriously.
“Then I’ll rebuild it,” he tells you, your lips hovering just above each other and his beautiful teal eyes looking into yours, a small smile on his face. “But with you, I’m pretty sure that would never happen.”
And you’ve always been pessimistic. You’ve always chosen to believe the worst because it alleviates the pain you’d feel when things don’t go as planned. But somehow, you believe in Sae with your whole heart. You’d trust him with your whole life. So you want to give him what he’s given you—everything. (He thinks you already have.)
“I’ll love you forever, Itoshi Sae.”

Summary: You were always told heroes and villains had no place in your home.  Not when there’s an increase in crime, not when there’s monsters on the loose in Hosu and certainly not when the man in your home raises a hand to you.  All it takes is one impulsive decision to change your life forever. content: shigaraki tomura x female reader, slow burn, hurt/comfort, mutual pining, reader has a quirk, graphic depictions of violence, past abuse, past sa, angst, pstd, eventual smut, found family LoV, mdni wc: 3.1k | chapter 2 | m. list | read on ao3
It’s been raining all day.
The cold droplets make your cheeks feel numb as you run along the sidewalk. The sky is a murky gray and your lungs are burning in a desperate attempt to regain air in them. There is blood on your clothes and none of it belongs to you.
You don't know how long you’ve been at this but you know you cannot stop. There would be consequences if you stopped.
Your body would have to give out first.
You chance a glance behind you and see there is no chase, there are no sirens and no angry mob following you but your body keeps moving.
You decide to take a sharp right turn into an upcoming alley and use that moment to catch your breath. Your chest heaves as you desperately inhale. The rain has soaked you to the bone and you just know that you’ll have a stuffy nose in the morning. Adrenaline is what you assume is keeping you going at this point — with the rate of your heart beating you're sure it’ll beat right out of your chest and leave you here in this dingy alley alone.
Even through the patter of the rain you could hear the footsteps of multiple people shuffling your way.
You’re sure they’ve found you. Damn it, you shouldn’t have stopped.
You look around the alley and run to the grimy dumpster further down, hiding behind it and willing yourself to calm your breathing.
Closing your eyes, you place a cold hand over your own mouth, praying it will quiet your own ragged breaths.
“C’mon, guys, let's be reasonable.” It's the voice of a man and it is not familiar.
He seems to be stepping closer, slowly. You creep closer to the wall and hope the footsteps cease.
They do.
“Reasonable would be having your head for the shit you pulled on us, Giran.” A different voice, hostile. You're starting to think these people have nothing to do with you.
The guy, Giran, sounds weary, “I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m always good on my word.”
There’s another voice piping up now, denying his words, insisting that they were scammed. Between the rain and the men talking over each other it feels impossible to understand. You decide it's best to just wait this out, you’re sure they will finish soon and you can go back to figuring out your next move.
“Bullshit!” Someone yells and it startles you, pulling your attention back to the scene unfolding behind you.
The sound of a gunshot rings through the alley and you jolt in surprise, reflexively covering your ears as your heart stops in your chest. What the fuck was happening right now. Whatever Giran was going to say doesn’t make it far.
“Oh shit,” one voice panicks, “what the fuck did you do, dude!”
“You said we would get him back!”
“Not kill him, you fucking idiot!”
Your nerves are on fire as you hear the pair run off, leaving Giran groaning in pain and bloody.
You move fast, rushing from your place behind the dumpster to the wounded man. Giran was slumped against a wall, hand clutching his abdomen and breathing heavily. You don’t know what's compelling you to do this, so you blame it on the adrenaline still pumping through your veins. No one deserves to die here.
“Hey!” You yell out, an attempt to get his attention and keep him from slipping into unconsciousness. His brows lifted as his eyes met yours and you’re just glad this stranger is still breathing. “Let me help you.”
He only looks at you and you’re sure he’s fighting with all he has to hang on. You’re probably a sight to see yourself — clothes drenched in a mixture of blood and rain and eyes wild with panic.
You reach for his hand covering the bloody wound and he only presses tighter.
“Trust me.” You plead, meeting his eyes in desperation before trying again. Giran nods, moving his own hand and allowing you a chance to see the injury for yourself — blood was everywhere and given the rain you had no clear view. You shoot him a pointed look once more before going for his shirt, lifting it and exposing his stomach and bloody wound. You could work with this.
Your hands were freezing cold, but you willed yourself through it, bringing both to hover over his abdomen and focusing. Giran watched the soft green glow emit from your hands and wash over his wounded abdomen, his wound healing from the inside out. Raindrops drip from your hair and down your nose, yet you focus until the injury is gone, as if it had never been there in the first place.
Giran sighed, resting his head on the brick wall behind him, muscles relaxing and breath stabilizing.
“You’re a healer.” He speaks, voice hoarse and winded.
You nod, bringing your hands back and looking at the grovel below, “yeah, something like that.”
A silence falls over the both of you, the rain continuing to seep its cold into your bones. It's almost time to face your reality again. Time to get up and move.
“What are you doing out here, kid?'' Giran speaks again, voice gaining more clarity as he stabilizes from the events before.
What are you doing out here? Where even is here? You weren’t paying attention while you ran — there was only the urge to get away and get away as fast as you could.
“I...” you look down at your clothes clinging to your form and drooping lower than they should due to the onslaught of rain. Not even the rain could wash away the blood staining the cotton material. Whatever may have gotten on your face could be washed away, but you’re unsure. “I don’t know.” You finish, chancing a glance at Giran.
He looks to you before taking a moment to stand, finally gaining composure and taking a slow breath.
You follow suit, ready to go the other way, never see this man you saved again.
“I owe you one, kid,” Giran starts again, adjusting his glasses, and you begin to protest. He cuts you off, “Those crooks almost killed me. Really, at least let me get you someplace warm.” he insists and you stare for a moment, you were unsure of your next move anyway.
You nod, “alright.”
—---------
Giran takes you to an underground bar. One where the lighting is low and there aren't many people around. You’ve never been to a bar before, but you’re sure this one had bad news written all over it.
Even so, you don't feel afraid. The bar had a bathroom where you could dry off better and there was even spare clothes in the lost and found. You were finally able to get the rain soaked clothes off and wipe away the red staining your face as well. It was miles better than what you had before.
Now you were sat across from Giran as he lit his cigarette, taking a drag and exhaling it to the side.
The harsh smell of nicotine flooded the area and you bit back the scrunch of your nose as you stuffed your face with chips from the bar. Once your adrenaline settled, the feeling of hunger was overwhelming.
“So,” you're midbite when Giran speaks, breaking the silence, “what were you doing out there, kid?”
You force your food down and ponder your answer. There was no reason you shouldn’t trust Giran right now, but—
The splatter of blood crosses your mind, accompanied by a memory of glass breaking that makes you shiver and you decide that no, you couldn’t share this.
“I…” you can’t meet his eyes, “I got lost.”
Giran taps the ashes from his cigarette and sucks his teeth. “Lost, huh?” He raises a brow, “where are you from, then? You were covered in blood, and not all of that belonged to me, so what’s your deal – are you some kind of hero?”
You vehemently shake your head, “no, no. I’m not a hero.” You anxiously pick at the loose sem in the sweater, “I’m nobody. Not anymore.”
“You’re a healer, people would kill for a quirk like that.” He takes another drag, blowing the smoke and pointing to you, “what is it you were running from?”
There were tears welling in your eyes and you wished this conversation could be over. The reality of the situation setting in. “I hurt someone. Bad.”
“Can’t be that bad since you can heal ‘em, right?”
You’re quiet. Flashes of what occurred hours ago flooding your memory. It feels so far away. So foggy. “No. No, I didn’t heal them.” Your fists tighten in your lap. “I hurt them and then I left. I ran away and now I’ll never go back.”
Giran looks you over for a bit before tapping the excess ash from his cigarette. “Well, since you need somewhere to go and you have a pretty sick quirk, I think I have the perfect place for you.”
—---------
The dark corridors Giran leads you through feel endless and you can’t help but wonder if he’s leading you into a trap of some kind. You thought the bar before was shady, but wherever the hell he was taking you seems to be much worse.
There was no elaboration on where you were going, just an absent trust me and promises that you would be safe and taken care of here. Promises that no one would look for you or find you here. You sigh, out of options and desperate. He had no reason to lie to you, but it still gave you an uneasy feeling.
“This guy,” Giran’s voice catches your attention, “Can seem like kind of a brat, but he’s good on his word.”
It’s as if he could feel your restless thoughts and you only purse your lips, glancing at him and then back forward, noting a large metal door coming into view.
You can't fight the lump of dread in your stomach but you try to put on a brave face as the screech of the heavy metal door fills the corridor. It led to another bar — this one looking more… normal. Empty, quiet and even quaint.
The only occupants being a shadow-like figure of a man, dark cloudy whisps covering his face and hands and another, younger man dressed in all black and sporting what looked like a pale blue hand covering his face like a mask.
“Giran,” the man spoke, voice raspy and sharp. He couldn’t have been much older than you, maybe younger. “What have you brought us today?”
The man in question smiled, gold tooth glimmering in the low light of the bar. “Something special.”
You couldn’t see much of the man’s face beyond the hand, but you could see the glint of interest in his red eyes.
“Is that so…” he turns his attention to you, “what’s your name?”
His gaze gives you goosebumps and you turn to Giran, seeking some kind of reassurance, but the boy speaks again, “Don’t look at him. I’m the one talking to you.”
It shakes you, but you snap your attention back to him and tell him your name.
“And why are you here?”
You don’t know. You have no idea why Giran brought you here and you don’t even know who this guy is. How could you hope to answer that with no information?
Giran steps in before you can make a retort, “she’s here because I think you could get a lot of use out of her, Shigaraki.”
Shigaraki’s gaze never leaves yours. “Oh, yeah? What’s your quirk?”
You bite your lower lip, you didn’t expect this to be an interview of some kind. Shigaraki looks impatient, tapping a finger on the bar beside him. You swallow your nerves and speak, “My quirk is called Vitality – I can heal others and myself.”
“That’s a rare find, Giran, even for you.” Shigaraki crossed his arms, interest successfully piqued.
Giran huffs a laugh, lighting his cigarette and taking a drag. “Yeah, well, she kind of found me.”
You steal a look at Giran, the smoke leaving his lips as he speaks. Shigaraki doesn’t say anything, his silence seemingly urging Giran to continue. “This one here saved my life yesterday. Some hothead shot me and she rushed in and healed me. I’m good as new.”
Shigaraki scoffs, tone sardonic and cruel, “Wow, how heroic of you.”
It feels like you’ve made the wrong choice, like the idea of saving someone was foolish and wrong. You acted on instinct — no one deserved to die there.
“So, what’s your deal, then? The heroes would kill to have you on their side. Why are you here?”
“I don’t care about the heroes,” it’s the truth, you want nothing to do with their flashy shows of power and silly displays of heroism. “I couldn’t care less for it.”
You see Shigaraki’s eyes narrow through the fingers of the hand on his face. “So you’re one of Stain’s followers, then?”
Who? You didn’t keep up with that kind of stuff. You vaguely remember seeing the news articles about some crazed villain, but you have had your own villain to deal with. Nothing else mattered.
This was beginning to frustrate you. All the questions, all the prying — who cares about any of this stuff? You don’t even know where you are!
“I’m not familiar with him. I don’t care for any of it.” You couldn’t help but hear the question ring in your head again.
Why are you here?
“I don’t,” you start up again, voice catching in your throat. “I don’t have a home to go back to.”
The memory of glass breaking and blood splattering crosses your mind, running away in the rain clouds your thoughts, yet you continue, “I don't know what lies ahead for me, I don't have a future anymore. I just happened to stumble upon Giran.”
Shigaraki is quiet for a moment. You have to force yourself to refrain from squirming under his gaze.
“Show me.”
Your eyes snap to his, “What?”
“Show me your quirk.'' His voice is firm and unwavering. You’re looking at him to see if you could find any injury or even bruises but from your distance you cannot. It's not until Shigaraki pulls the already loose collar of his shirt down over his shoulder and you see it. There’s a large bandage on his shoulder and your steps falter a bit – not expecting him to expose so much skin so easily.
You swallow, uneasiness buzzing through your veins as you watch him remove the bandage and expose a gash on his shoulder. It looks recent, but you can't tell from this distance, so you move towards him.
The closer you get, the more you notice the finer details of the man. His ashen hair looks soft up close and his dark shirt does little to hide the lithe muscle underneath. It’s like walking into the cage of a wild tiger, sitting and waiting for its perfect moment to grab you.
He notices your hesitation and sucks his teeth, “I don’t have all day.”
You swallow your nerves and continue on. The closer you get, the more clearly you can see the scars on his neck as well. Not as bad as the gash on his shoulder, but still noticeable. You try not to steal too long of a glance and reach out, slowly — ready to heal him.
The wound doesn’t seem to be very deep so you only use one hand, a seafoam green glow emitting and covering his injury.
Shigaraki inhales slowly, feeling the relieving effects of your quirk healing him from the inside out. It doesn’t take long, the wound was already in the process of recovering before so this was more minor than you thought. You pull away once you were sure his shoulder was back to normal, taking a cautious step back from the man before you.
His attention is on Giran as he rolls his shoulder, flexing out all the previous tension and sighing in relief.
“Something like this isn’t easy to come by, Giran. What’s your price?”
Price, he says. Like you’re cattle, as if you’re some kind of product to be shipped off and traded. It makes you feel low.
Giran shrugs, smile pliant on his face and cigarette hanging loosely in his mouth. “No price. I told you – I owe this kid my life. Just make sure she’s safe and fed and we’ll call it even.”
Shigaraki still seems to be skeptical because he stands to his feet and you take another step back from him. His form is tense and you have to fight the urge to run to the door behind Giran. Shigaraki is taller, even with his slouched posture, and the sinking feeling in your stomach only grows as you anxiously watch for his next move.
You vaguely register the man engulfed in dark clouds calling Shigaraki’s name — a warning in his tone.
Giran raises a hand, smile never faltering. “Seriously. Eye for an eye.” He cocks his head, “But I’m not opposed to additional payment, if that’s what you want.”
It's a joke, one that the man before you does not find funny. He stands up straighter, “Whatever. Fine, we’ll take her in.”
You’re unsure if this is something you should celebrate or ease your way out of, but Giran seems to take it well. An honest smile gracing his features as he looks back to you, “You hear that, kid? You're in.”
Shigaraki turned to the shadowlike man behind the counter, “Kurogiri, prepare a room for her.”
Kurogiri nods and makes his way from behind the bar, you assume you should follow, but this was… a lot to take in. If they were to take you in then you wont ask too many questions. As long as you could lay low and keep to yourself then things would be fine. This wouldn’t have to be forever, just long enough to get yourself together and make your next moves.
You find solace in that thought as you walk past Giran — sending you an amiable wave as you trail behind Kurogiri.
Shigaraki stays behind in the bar and you’re thankful, his demeanor doesn’t seem like one you would like to be around for long periods of time.
There’s a brief moment when you're passing Shigaraki. His eyes meet yours and you notice the shine in them, a glimmer of covet curiosity so quick you almost miss it.
And you can’t help but wonder what exactly is it you’ve just gotten yourself into.

The Dog Scene from The Super Mario Brothers Movie
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Thank you @scribeprotra  for permitting me to unleash this. Followup to this post: X
First of all, this scene is the first time we get to see Mario do actual plumbing, and it establishes that this business isn’t just a pipe dream (ha ha). Mario is actually a really skilled plumber. He sees the problem, knows what to do in an instant, and wraps it all up in less than a minute. So later, when all of Brooklyn is flooded, and Mario laughs that the hired workers “aren’t even looking in the right place”, we can believe he knows what he’s talking about.
Tumblr media
Then, comes trouble: Francis The Dog, Mario and Luigi’s first real adversary... a kind of tutorial boss fight. Foreman Spike was antagonistic, but he was all talk. He would bully, threaten, and get aggressive, but he wasn’t going to throw the first punch. Francis, however, is out for blood.
We see an echo of what happened earlier when they confronted Spike. Mario stands between Luigi and danger, pushing him back, ready to defend him. However, unlike Spike, Francis doesn’t walk away, he goes for the throat, and it throws both brothers off kilter.
Luigi, while anxious and fearful, proves he’s not a man of mindless panic. When Francis comes at him he’s yelling for Mario’s help, but he himself is climbing to higher ground while grabbing the nearest available object (a toilet brush) to defend himself. This pattern continues for the rest of the movie: though he isn’t much of a fighter, his survival instincts are quite good.
Mario, on the other hand, immediately turns combative when Francis goes after Luigi. He draws the dog’s attention, and they skirmish for a bit before Mario finally seals Francis off inside the shower. Mario is not exactly a warrior yet, but he definitely has good fighting instincts.
Of course, let’s not forget Luigi holding off the jet of water with the mirror foreshadowing him holding back Bowser’s flames with the manhole cover. That’s been talked about before... I want to talk about THIS shot:
Tumblr media
Mario is holding out a wrench like a sword, Luigi is holding up the mirror like a shield. That is them in a nutshell, and why they work so well together: they are sword and shield, offense and defense, impulse and caution, working together to balance each other out.
When Francis leaps at them, they instinctually hold on to each other for dear life, but still manage to duck out of the way at just the right moment as the dog accidentally flings himself out the window behind them.
Despite the dog being a violent threat, he is also a beloved pet to the homeowners. So what does Mario do? He throws himself out the window after Francis.
Tumblr media
He trusts Luigi won’t let him fall, and he doesn’t. There was no time for a plan to be discussed, they were simply on the same wavelength.
IN CONCLUSION: The dog scene is what introduces the audience to the very different ways Mario and Luigi react to danger. It also shows us how tight their bond is, and why they work off each other so well, even beyond the emotional support they provide each other. The one downside is that the scene hints at a really cool fighting dynamic that we didn’t have time to properly explore in the film. The next time Mario and Luigi are fighting side by side they’re effortlessly mowing down enemies with the power star, and the sword-shield dynamic is lost. But I’m very excited to see the future of how they work as a team now that we’ve established the setting and set the two up to become heroes.

The Doctor being disabled part 2.
Eight has a bit of trouble recognizing other people using sarcasm or asking rhetorical questions. He'll take them more literally than the speaker intended, especially when a literal response would require an explanation. He gets excited about explaining things.
Aside from the memory difficulties, the anesthesia during regneration left him prone to seizures. Usually atonic or absence seizures.
Eight has synesthesia. He usually connects sounds with colors and movements and shapes. He loves to sit with a record player and watch the air dance with it. The war made him start to hate it though and the combination of input would bring him closer to his stimulation limit.
Other than the autism baked into his biodata, War doesn't have much going for him. The elixir he drank from Karn allowed him to regenerate into a body that was suited to face the war. Meaning no disabilities.
Alexithymia is giving him trouble again. It hasn't been this bad since about Three, but he struggles to identify all his grief and frustration from the war. So he compartmentalizes all his feelings and ignores them.
PTSD for poor Nine. Just look how he handled seeing a Dalek after the war. He sleeps even less than his other incarnations cause he wants to avoid nightmares.
He stims when thinking, and keeps a fidget cube or two in his pockets to fiddle with. Otherwise he'll fiddle around with his sonic and the last time he did that he accidentally broke something.
Rheumatoid arthritis makes his hands really achy after doing fine motor work. He keeps little pocket warmers to use as heat packs.
Ten does lots of fidgeting and tinkering to stim. And he hates the feeling of being uncovered, hence the full suit and trench coat. Very particular about fabrics.
ADHD, lots of impulsive decisions and doing what's interesting in the moment. He's terrible at keeping to plans, and will absolutely forget what he was doing when he walks through a doorway.
Eleven loves his verbal stims. Echolalia, humming, making popping sounds. It just feels right to fill the space with sound.
ADHD, postural sway and hyperactivity for days. Making a million plans and only gets 12% done with one before he jumps to the next. Someone put this man on a leash.
All of his floppy gesturing and swaying and falling over comes from inner ear problems not muscular problems. Raggedy man gets carsick and seasick so easily, but somehow is fine in the tardis. River thinks it's ironic.
Eleven also has synesthesia. It's a lot more varied than just sound and sight associations. But overall, a lot of things that are considered his favorites are linked to tardis blue.
Twelve is less social than his other incarnations. He likes lecturing because he can talk at people instead of to them. He doesn't have to worry about the conventions of holding eye contact or reacting properly in conversation.
Music is a huge comfort for him, especially when he gets to play the music himself instead of just listening. He can control the sound around him that way and it feels so good.
Hates his sciatica. Will insist he uses a cane only because his nerves are pinched and not because he's old.
Thirteen tries so hard to mask her interests and stims. She wants to be normal for once and feels like she's failing miserably when caught flapping or fidgeting.
Tinnitus. She blames Twelve's guitar habit for it. If it persists long or loud enough she will start humming or singing in an attempt to drown it out.
She has some back pain she also blames from her fall out of the tardis. She wears orthopedic insoles to help.
Also forgot to put in the last one, but Five absolutely has asthma. Man is wheezing after every scene he runs in.

Finally We're Going to Talk About Crowley
I really do love them equally but you wouldn't know it from my posting history because I constantly feel the need to ride to Aziraphale's defense every other week.
Anyway we talk incessantly about Aziraphale's behavior in the last scenes of season two for obvious reasons, but I think Crowley also needs some deconstructing. His behavior is less shocking; he appears to be reacting to Aziraphale more than taking the reins of the narrative himself. But there are a few key moments I want to look at more closely.
The first thing I thought of was how nonchalant he appeared to be about his only friend going off to have a private conversation with a powerful angel who clearly loathes the sight of him. "Go ahead, the day can't get any weirder" YES IT CAN YES IT CAN but anyway, I was deeply mistaken.
The second they're out of sight he jumps to his feet and stares out the window after them, then he starts to pace around the bookshop. He stops dead when he sees Muriel and goes back to nonchalant mode. "They'll be back soon."
(In the tone, imo, of a parent waiting for their kid to come back from a date and it's past curfew and they're not answering their cell.)
And then--he immediately tries to get rid of Muriel. Who doesn't want to leave, bc "The Metatron might need me!" And you can see the "oh my sweet summer child" expression cross Crowley's face. He's still his usual casual demonic No Fucks Given self on the outside, but he doubles down on getting Muriel out of the shop.
I don't want to spit in anyone's crepes with this next bit, but I don't think the "us time" portion of this conversation was intended to be romantic. I hypothesize that Crowley had just about made up his mind to have an honest conversation with Aziraphale about his Fall and whatever tf he's got going on with the Metabitch. And the "extremely alcoholic breakfast" was what he needed to get through the conversation.
I'm wandering into the realm of speculation at this point, but I think my hypotheses are based on canon events. Crowley does not talk about his Fall with Aziraphale and discourages any mention of his angel identity. That could just be a trauma response, but you don't see the same reticence when it comes up in conversation with Beelz or Muriel or even Jim. I think he's been protecting Aziraphale from something all this time, maybe for his own safety or maybe because he doesn't want Azi to lose faith in heaven/God. The way he tries to send Muriel away makes me think it's a physical safety thing.
But then Metacunt shows up in the flesh and Crowley goes, Yeah it's time to have The Talk.
So then what changed?
This next extrapolation is a bit tenuous so feel free to disagree, but I don't think Crowley was as lost in the woods as he seemed to be. Crowley is impulsive and emotional, but he's not stupid. My friend leaves with the most dangerous angel I know and comes back acting weird. We are not getting that breakfast at the Ritz, are we?
I think the confession and the kiss were sincere, but I also think they had a purpose. I think he was trying to snap Aziraphale out of whatever was making him act like a marionette on crack. But, "It's too late. It's always too late."

Stern and tight voices make their way from downstairs to my room. I try to ignore them however the high pitches of their concern makes it hard to drown them out. Having finished bathing and scrubbing the blood from my skin some time ago, my hair is mostly dried so I leave it down as I dress. Clad in a pair of fitted high waisted black trousers and a simple black halter top, I make the awful decision to find out what the voices are talking about.
Elain, Nesta, and Mor are sharing the sitting room couch while a red haired male stands by a window. Rhys and Feyre are against opposing doorways while Cassian and Azriel are between them. The sight of Rhys makes my skin crawl after my encounter earlier but I push down as I quietly descend the stairs barefoot. The shadows take notice of my entrance and start to grow restless causing a scene as Azriel hisses under his breath at them to behave.
Feyre smiles at me and turns to face me while the rest of them simply watch me. While some are pleasant, they all view me with red tinted glasses and are guarded around me. I know the sight of me being so casual in their home makes them uncomfortable and even more so as my wings and scars catch the light. The red haired male peers at me through one russet colored eye and one golden mechanical eye. Nesta is stone faced and tight lipped as usual while Elain drifts from being a life sized doll to an unsettling wise woman. Mor lounges while Cassian watches his brother who is staring with a purpose at the wall.
However none bother me more than Rhys at this moment.
With his Daemati talons, he’s trying to find a crack in my mental shields but to no avail. Add my earlier run in with the Ravens and to say I’m on edge is an understatement. The grating feeling of those talons against my mind is enough to make me forget my impulse control for half a second. I send him flashes of what happened on the rooftop as well as my time spent in between life and death. His violet eyes wide with what I think might be the closest thing to fear he’s let anyone see in years. If he wasn’t leaning against the doorway already, I’m sure the stumbling step back he takes would’ve sent him to the ground.
The entire room tenses and Feyre is at his side in the blink of an eye. She shoots me a fury filled look before her own caress touches my shields. The other three males have turned and are ready to attack if needed although it seems to pain Azriel to do so.
I decide it’s better to not do the same to Feyre and simply shove her out. I take her place against the doorway, leaning against it with my arms crossed and wings drawn in tight. No one says anything and with how thick the air is, it appears that they’re all waiting for my explanation.
“Next time I won’t be so gentle,” I inform Rhys with a saccharine smile while inspecting my nails.
“You were attacked and didn’t tell us,” he states, intentionally choosing to ignore my comment. Shadows dance nervously around the room and a few brave their way towards me. I let them come closer but my arms remain crossed over my chest and offer them no welcome to climb further. It concerns them more than anything and their chirping silence fills the room with unease.
I rolls my eyes at the way that everyone stands on even higher alert, “I handled it didn’t I?”
“That’s not the point.”
“So what is then?” I casually ask and the shadows curl around my legs, acting as a sort of armor. “You all knew already so why does it matter if I wasn’t the one to share that information?”
Rhys’ jaw tightens at my words and and so does the thread in my chest. My eyes dart to Azriel and there’s something sharp to his silence. He’s usually quiet and reserved but there’s an edge to the utter stillness and silence about him right now.
“We need to have trust between us. We can’t let…”
I cut Rhys off, “Trust? That’s an awfully big request considering our situation but the wrong one nonetheless. We don’t need to trust each other, we don’t even have to tolerate each other. All we need is an understanding; if you get what you want and I get what I want, then we’re all good. You brought me here to kill the King of Hybern and I’ll do that but only if you agree to leave me the fuck alone afterwards. I don’t think that’s too much to ask now is it?”
“You can’t…”
“I don’t think that’s too much to ask now is it? Or is this your way of telling me that you’re the one that can’t be trusted? I hope that you’re smarter than to try to pull one over me because the moment that I catch wind of anything untoward, I will make Velaris bleed.”
Cassian steps forward but Rhys holds his hand out and stops him. They share a look, more than likely speaking to each other via Rhys’ daemti abilities and stand down. Feyre steps up beside him, the perfect image of the High Lord and High Lady of the Night Court.
“Do not threaten my city or my family. You are not as irreplaceable as you’d like to think.”
“The same can be said for you.” I almost laughed as I said those words but Azriel kills the sound in my throat. The bastard tugs on the thread that connects us and sends a shiver through my body. The shadows around me hug closer as my wings flare out against my will and I hit my back hard against the doorway.
He’s moved to stand in front of me as well as moved his shadows to do the same, effectively blocking us from everyone.
“What are you doing?” I hiss at him although it sounds far more breathless than I intended. My body feels foreign; tingly and warm while fighting to remain frigid and distant. The heated memory of our kiss is still fresh on my lips while the image of his disbelief face flashes in my mind.
“Stand down,” he whispers to me like I’m a cornered feral dog, “I don’t feel like cleaning up Cassian or Rhy’s blood.”
This infuriating male gazes down at me with all of the tenderness that I don’t deserve….i don’t… I don’t want it.
“Bold of you to assume you can command me,” I hiss at him and my wings twitch against the door frame. While he’s significantly taller than me, our wings stand at the same height. They’re almost perfect mirror images of each other, as if we were meant to be mates.
Shit.
Now staring at him, trying to be irate with him, the bond finds a way to make me want his tender heart and his sweet lips. It makes me want his coy smile and gentle touch. It forces me to want it all and it vibrates with joy.
It’s rather quickly ruined by a wave of concern and subtle anger as Azriel’s eyes move from my face to my exposed skin. Raised red marks and indented brown ones litter my shoulders, arms, and back. His matching hands reach out for my arms.
Our shadows fall away and reveal my room instead of the crowded one downstairs. The dark creatures find their place against the door, acting as a barrier between us and them. The male before me grasps my arms with such care and affection that it threatens to make my anger melt. He holds my elbows and turns my arms so they face up and he can actually look at the scars. A poignant sadness is etched into his features as he memorizes every little blemish.
My wings quiver nervously when we make eye contact. I have to crane my head up to look at him with how tall he is. He’s taller than any other fae I’ve ever met and far more handsome as well. The beauty that lays effortlessly in his features makes even the world’s natural beauty look dull. His brothers are handsome but this male, Azriel, is ethereal and my soul is inexplicably tied to his.
“Did he do this to you?” He finally asks with an intensity I wasn’t expecting.
I can only nod, suddenly feeling the will to be stubborn and hardened fall away. He shakes his head and his grip grows firmer as he steps closer to me. I expected him to pull me into him but the fact that he was the one to close the distance feels too intimate. I make a half decent attempt to pull away and he loosens his grip, still keeping our eyes locked. There’s another lighter tug on our bond, this time it’s more of a question than a distraction.
“Is this okay?” It seems to ask.
Shaking my head, I pull away entirely but stay in my place. “No amount of kind gestures will convince me to accept the bond.”
“Reject it then.”
Confused hurt flashes across my face, “excuse me?”
“Reject the bond then. If that’s how you’ll accept my ‘kind gestures’ as you put it, then reject it.”
“You asked me not to only a few hours ago.”
“And I’m seeing now that I shouldn’t have. It wasn’t right of me to ask you to do something that’s already caused you so much pain,” his voice cracks slightly however he remains strong in his certainty.
I can’t help the green envy that licks up my spine, “I suppose the youngest sister has nothing to do with your sudden change of heart.”
Azriel has the audacity to look offended. “Elain has nothing to do with this.”
“Elain,” I sneer at him and take that damning step towards him. He stays quiet and allows me to say whatever cruel thing I can think of to push him away. He takes my anger and makes it into light that spreads across our unaccepted bond. The fact that we can feel so much more than I did with the King spins webs of confusion in my heart. Nothing with Azriel feels the way it did with the King and I don’t know why.
“I thought I might’ve felt something for her before I met you but I’ve realized that it was nothing more than platonic feelings. She knows that and she understands that nothing will ever happen between us.”
“Friends don’t rush to your side like that.”
His face breaks into a small smile, “maybe not but I didn’t notice. You were the only one I was looking at.”
That takes me by surprise. I find my resolve starting to crack even more as he continues to shock me. My mind races with a thousand thoughts and I can’t pick a single one to focus on. Instead what falls out is something I wish wouldn’t have, “Rejecting it could drive you into madness.”
Azriel steps closer, bridging our gap so we’re almost chest to chest now. He brushes my hair over my shoulders and cups my neck as he brings out foreheads together. My hands fly up to his chest, ready to shove him away if needed.
“I’d rather live in madness than see you suffer like this.”
“You can’t mean that,” I breathe out as my eyes flutter closed to stop the tears from falling.
“I already told you that I want only what you want. I will do anything you ask of me without any questions. If this is what you want, then it is what I want.”
The this feels like a double edged sword; this as in accepting him or this as in rejecting him.
Our noses bump against each other and Azriel lets out a content sigh. I can feel his eyes close as his lashes brush against my cheek bone. The hand on my neck slides up until his thumb is under my jaw and is gently rubbing against my jaw bone. The sensation causes a tingling shiver to overcome me and my skin breaks out in goosebumps. I wasn’t aware of my hands sliding up his chest until they found their home playing with the hair at the nape of his neck. I didn’t feel his free hand on my hip until it digs into the soft skin there and urges us impossibly closer.
“What do you want, sweet girl?” He whispers against my lips. They’re warm and soft and teasing and oh by the cauldron my brain ceases to work. I’m not even sure how my lungs are able to function either. All I know is that I can’t say the words so I push up on my toes and smash our lips together.
As if this male couldn’t get under my skin anymore, he moans into our kiss and drags me flush against his chest. The leather of his fighting gear is cold against my skin but it does nothing to soothe the feverish burn I’m starting to feel.
Azriel lets me lead, keeping his kiss gentle but no less firm and passionate than mine. The hand on my waist drifts to my lower back and brushes past my wings in the process causing them to writhe in its wake. My own pathetic moan slips out and my hand grips at his hair, tugging it as I kiss him harder. His tongue finds its opportunity to slip in and I gladly welcome it by opening my lips to allow our tongues to mingle.
Breathing feels more like a burden as it forces us to part and we reluctantly pull away. I let my hands fall from his hair and rest them on his chest. He softly guides me into his chest, letting the hand at my jaw slide back to my hair and the one at my back to wrap around my shoulders. I slide my own arms around his middle and cling to him as if we’ve been mated for years. He drops his head to rest on top of mine and I can feel his labored breaths against my hair.
Our bond feels full and complete as we hold each other.
Once, many years ago, I had dreamed of finding this and thought that I did in the King. I had been so full of hope and patience to make it work no matter how painful it was for me. For every token of affection I gave him, he returned it with insults, actions, and looks that were tenfold worse than before. I don’t know when I lost that part of me but I lost it so easily. It felt like it happened in a matter of days. One day that bright eyed and hopeful young Fae was there and then the next, gone. She slipped from my fingers like water does when you try to cup it. I hardly even noticed that she wasn’t there until it was too late and I couldn’t get her back but then I realized I didn’t want her back. She fell from me like a teacup that dropped onto an unforgiving kitchen floor. One day we were laughing and smiling at the sky and the next day, gone. It was like she was never even there to begin with. She walked right out and never turned back, leaving me to try and cope with the aftermath of her dreams. She left me when I needed her the most. I needed her to guide me through the years of abuse that I suffered at the hands of a male I thought I was Fated for. I needed her to stay and help me push through so that I could find a way to have the life she planned for me.
I had resigned myself to a life of agony and caring for scars that would never truly heal. That was until the moment I saw Azriel. That was the moment I realized that everything I had believed for so long could’ve been wrong. When I saw this beautiful creature with twinkling eyes, soft lips, delicate cheeks, a perfect nose, and glowing skin emerge from the shadows, my reality shifted. When that bond snapped, I couldn’t imagine that this magnificently and terrifying beautiful male felt it too. I knew that I would never be satisfied with just being near him. I need him more than I would need myself.
But when I so awfully told him that we were mates, I saw that look in his eye; it had snapped. There was a chance I could have him and he could have me. I could love him and watch the sunlight dances across his skin as he looks at me with the same adoration in his eyes. I could tell him about the admiration that runs so deeply that I don't know where it ends and I begin. The moment that that realization hit me, it shattered my reality and ran away to lick my wounds in isolation.
Now as I hear his heartbeat and feel his breath in my hair, I can’t fathom why I would do such a thing.
Tumblr media
“It’s time to wake up.”
Blinding pain bursts through my body as I take my first breath of air after waking up. My lungs seize for a moment and I gasp for breath while I shoot forward on my bedroll. The calming scent of the forest and mist wrap itself around me as I slowly regain my senses. A small chuckle drifts from beside me and its owner makes a poor attempt to hide his smile as he pretends to dig around in his pack.
“Say another word and I’ll slit your throat,” I mumble as I sit up and drag a cold hand over my face.
“Wow you’ve just woken up and you’re already snapping at people. That’s a new record for you,” Cassian says with a sarcastic chuckle as he enters the pathetic excuse for a tent.
I’m blinded by the sunlight that he lets in but I welcome its warmth after having slept on the freezing ground for the last couple of nights. Azriel moves to sit beside me and offers a thick sweater as well as some food to me as he tells his brother to kindly shut up.
“Unless you want her to snap you, I’d suggest you leave her alone until she’s had time to…” he pauses for a second and glances down at me with a breathtaking smile, “to process that you’re real and not a figment of her imagination.”
“You know, I thought when you found your mate that she would make you friendlier and generally a warmer person but this one has had the opposite effect on you.”
Azriel is still smiling at me and I can only handle his open affection for so long. Quickly, I pull the sweater that is absolutely his as it smells just like him and settle my bored gaze on Cassian.
“Or you’ve just gotten more annoying and he’s fed up with it.”
Cassian gaps at me and looks at Azriel for help who just shrugs his shoulders. “I’m deeply wounded that you think I’m annoying. I’m a pleasure to be around. I am a delightful person once you get to know me.”
“As I am,” I throw back at him with my own small smile. Cassian doesn’t catch it as he leaves us but the male next to me does.
Azriel doesn’t say anything but his gentle actions towards me tell me that he saw it. He takes my hands, rolls up the sleeves of the sweater, and pulls my hair out of the collar. A shiver races down my spine as his fingers brush against my skin and his smile grows into a smirk. It falters as he catches a glimpse of the raised lines that trail across my shoulders and neck before disappearing under his sweater. I thought it would be better to hide my wings while we were on our little mission. I refused to let Rhys or Feyre near them, choosing to use an elixir that a healer made for me in Velaris. The effects would only last for a few days but having them visible and therefore vulnerable isn’t something I want. Besides that the only one I’d even let come within a ten foot radius of them would be Azriel; a fact I haven’t told him but one he knows to be true in his heart.
The mission that we are on is one that I reluctantly agreed to. Rhys was given permission to search my mind for any information that they could use against the King but as I’d already told them, he found nothing of use. The Ravens that attacked me had not been the only ones in the city and they had unintentionally left a trail of breadcrumbs back to a war camp about 20 miles outside of Velaris. Rhys thought it would be worthwhile to send Cassian, Azriel, and myself to investigate and gather what information we could. I knew that it would be pointless and I tried to tell Rhys that but he didn’t seem exactly interested in hearing what I had to say.
Although I agreed to his mission, I made it clear that I would be calling the shots and that included having authority over his brothers. Cassian had a fit while Azriel didn’t seem to have a problem with it. Of course that incited teasing and banter from both Cassian and Rhys but Azriel held strong in his approval.
“She knows the King the best. I’d trust her judgment more than anyone else’s,” he told them and my chest swelled with pride.
Cassian challenged him by asking what if he didn’t agree with it and Azriel repeated his statement.
“If I didn’t think I could fully trust and rely on her to do this, then I wouldn’t have bothered even telling you she existed.”
A part of me wanted to believe his sweet words but the other side told me that it was all an act to manipulate me. The bond between us, however, preened with warmth unlike before.
I find myself smiling as he softly calls my name and brings me back to the present.
“Are you ready?”
“Yeah,” I sigh and pull on my boots that were waiting for me next to my bedroll. After I finish tying the last one, I turn to see him still watching me with those twinkling eyes. “Can I help you?”
“May I kiss you?”
My brows shoot up and I stare at him skeptically. He repeats his question as if I hadn’t heard it.
Shaking my head, I tell him, “No I heard you. I just wasn’t expecting that.”
Azriel dips his head down and tilts my chin up with his forefinger so he can look me in the eye. “It surprises you that I’d ask to kiss you?”
Words fail me as I search his face for a hint of something, anything at all that would tell him he’s being disingenuous. There’s nothing but those tempting plush lips and a hooded look to his eyes.
His smirk returns in full force and he draws me closer to whisper against my lips, “Why wouldn’t I want to kiss my sweet girl?”
“Because I’m not your sweet…” my thoughts trail off as my eyes flutter close and I take in a sharp breath at the feeling of his lips ghosting over mine.
“You’re not what?” He pulls away just as I start to lean in and I nearly growl at him.
“I’m not your sweet girl,” I growl as frustration grows inside of me.
The bond even sides with him and waves of several emotions flood me but the one that hits me the hardest is his desire. Flashes of white hot pleasure crash into me and I surge forward to capture his lips. He reciprocates eagerly and we both immediately get caught up in branding each other’s lips. I barely notice him leaning us backwards until my back hits my bedroll and he’s between my legs.
I become too preoccupied with the overwhelming feeling of him all around me and without thinking, I arch up into him drawing a heated moan from both of us. Azriel’s hands were firmly planted on either side of my head but after my moan slipped out, he dropped down to his forearm and is now holding my thigh against his hip in a bruising grp. He tentatively rolls his hips against mine, pressing his growing bulge against my core, and on instinct mine meets his and so begins the desperate dance of grinding hips. I feel a smirk tug on his lips at the wild movements of my hips.
Arching my back and tightening my leg around his waist, I bit down on his bottom lip and as his hips stuttered with a drawn out moan, I smirk back at him. Before he can get his revenge, Cassian calls out for Azriel. He pulls away from me with a heavy sigh and drops his head into the croak of my neck.
“Your dog is calling for you,” I say with a breathy chuckle and playful shove at his shoulders. The male above me groans but climbs to his feet and pulls me up with him.
“He’s not a dog.”
“Fine your bat is calling for you.”
“Don’t let me hear you say that,” he chuckles while gazing down at me with desire. He presses a quick but powerful kiss to my lips with a promise “We’ll finish this later, sweet girl.”
“I’m not your sweet girl.”
“We’ll see about that.”

“I’m going to make you cum seven times, look at them one by one. They need to know who exactly you fucking belong to.”
The week flew by and it was already Friday. The Friday. You nervously fidgeted with things on your office desk, anything to take any tension away from the evening you were going to have.
Minho explained the plan to everyone, Jisung’s ultimate fantasy. You had some doubts that it was going to work, how could anyone get off to this? Then again, your legs squeezed together and your heart rate picked up every time you thought of being watched by the boys while Jisung fucked you into the next dimension.
The thought of Jisung’s body close to yours again, his lips, his hands, his cock buried deep inside you while he gives you his signature lust filled face. His brows would angle upwards, his mouth was parted to allow his animalistic pants through, his eyes turing a deep shade of brown while he watched his baby lose herself underneath him.
You shook your head and backed out of your desk, rolling your chair back and standing a stand. You walked over to the window and looked at the scene down below before spinning around and darting to your desk to check the time. It was only thirty minutes before you were off the clock. You couldn’t stand to just sit still in your office, you impulsively decided to check on the boys and see what they were up to. Probably not the best idea as you were on the menu tonight and it would be like dangling a steak in front of a pack of hungry wild dogs but it was better than fading away in your office alone.
You opened the rehearsal room door to the boys running through a few dance routines. Minho noticed you in the reflection of the mirror and hid his smirk in his dance. You carefully stepped into the room trying to keep your presence minimal but with no success. You watched them all intently but your focus was on Jisung. His body moved effortlessly and you could feel yourself heating up. You didn’t know what to expect tonight but all you knew was that this was five different kinds of crazy.
The music cut and the boys panted in relief. Realizing you were there they all gathered around to greet you, except for Jisung. He stood away taking a drink from a water bottle watching his band mates fawn over you. “Jisung!” Minho called “Let’s have everyone over tonight, it’s been a long week.” Jisung shifted uncomfortably, it was a miracle he hadn’t confronted Changbin about what he saw. He was hesitant about having everyone over but reluctantly agreed.
Everyone but Jisung knew what was going to happen tonight. Each of the boys were desperate to touch you again, to feel your delicate body tremble from their touches, to watch your face contort into an orgasmic masterpiece. “(y/n), can you come with me to the store to get some things?” Minho asked “Uh, yeah sure.” You replied “We’ll see you guys at home.” Minho collected his things and began to head out the door with you.
The elevator ride was quiet, you stood quietly beside him. Making your way outside, the crisp night air brushed your face. Minho finally broke the silence as you walked down the street “Nervous?” “Yeah.” You inhaled sharply “Is this really going to work?” Minho smiled and wrapped an arm around you “Absolutely.” He stopped moving and his arm fell and wrapped around your waist, pulling you in close “You sure you can do this?” He asked looking into your eyes, your could feel yourself getting lost in his eyes that were perfectly framed by loose pieces of hair “Yes.” He smirked and slightly leaned in “I always knew you were such a good girl.” He praised, your stomach fluttered from his words. “You tell me if you want to stop.” He became serious for a moment. It indeed was a very big thing to do and there was a lot at stake. You appreciated his concern, as sadistic as he was he always made sure to read signals and honour boundaries. “I will.” You wrapped your arms around his neck and placed a quick peck on his lips to his surprise. He released you while trying to hide his flush cheeks. “Come on, let’s go.” You playfully punched his arm and walked ahead
Jisung, don’t fuck this up again. She’s perfect. Minho thought smiling and speeding up to catch up to you.
Arriving back at your shared building, containing your nerves and excitement was proving to be harder by the minute. You both walked up to Minho and Jisung’s apartment door, your heart thumped in your chest. Minho keyed in the code and opened the door. You took a deep breath and walked. You were greeted by everyone, Jisung stood quietly in the kitchen and watched as you entered and removed your jacket. He admired as the clothing fell off your shoulders, your delicate frame teasing it’s appearance. Minho noticed Jisung’s reaction to you and smirked “This is going to be easier than I thought.”
Minho stepped behind you “Let me take your jacket.” You gasped quietly at his frame behind you “Oh, thanks.” He subtly whispered “Play along.” His tone was ordering and sent a tingle through your stomach. He pressed himself into you, you could feel his breath on your neck. His hands slowly traced down your shoulders to your arms where your jacket dangled off you. He teasingly pulled the jacket off the rest of you. Jisung watched the blatant display in front of him, he looked at your quickly blinking lashes and rising and falling bosom. He turned away before he got too excited.
The rest of the boys tried their best not to be obvious, they were already leaking primal desperation, watching Minho play around was not helping, especially Jeongin. Hyunjin nudged him, watching his dick twitch in his pants before handing him a pillow “Really?” Hyunjin raised a brow in amusement catching the attention of Felix on the other side of him. He peered and watched Jeongin quickly adjusted himself. His cheeks flushed pink under his freckles. Chan sat watching the comedic scenario in front of him. His tongue rolled in his mouth before he looked away focusing on the TV.
Before long, all nine of you were squeezed onto the couches watching a movie all of you could care less about. Minho made sure you sat in between him and Chan. Jisung sat on the adjacent couch with a perfect view of you sandwiched between his elders. Their bodies pressed into either side of you. About fifteen minutes into the film Minho boldly took his hand and placed it on your thigh. Immediately, your breath sharply quickened. Jisung looked back from the screen, his blood was heating up. Suddenly another body was reaching for you, Chan stretched his arm around you, loosely dangling his hand of your shoulder, close enough to cup your breast if he wanted.
Felix and Changbin completely oblivious continued watching the movie while one by one Seungmin, Hyunjin, and of course, Jeongin caught on. Minho leaned to whisper in your ear, knowing damn well Jisung was watching in complete rage. “It’s time, you’ll be a good girl for us right?” You inhaled sharply, it was go time. Finding your courage you blinked and softly turned your head to meet Minho’s gaze. “I’ll be good.” You whispered back. Minho’s lips curled back into a smirk as he caught Chan’s attention. Chan bit his lip in reply, he slowly inched his hand closer to your breast. Your stomach was on fire, this was really happening. You turned your head back to face to TV screen, trying to maintain composure. As Chan’s hand began to discreetly cup you, Minho’s hand slid further up, high enough that if he extended his finger he’s be touching your clothed crotch.
Your breathing became a steady pace of subtle heaves. Your hips softly responded to the sensations of their touch. It wasn’t long before your breath heavily came from your parted lips. Jisung never took his eyes off you three, he was fuming with jealousy, possession, and lust. He felt his own body respond. He watched how you were becoming a putty of desire, he wanted to take you so aggressively and remind everyone in the room who pleases that pretty pussy of yours the best.
Seungmin curiosity peaked and he adjusted himself slightly to get a better view. Your eyes now closed trying to hold in the feelings of neediness as Minho and Chan touched you with more intent. “Wow.” Seungmin let out making almost everyone turn their heads in the same direction. Changbin’s one lane brain hadn’t caught on until Felix poked him in the side “Wh-“ He joined with the rest watching you be groped. Minho turned his head to Jisung, his eyes were wide with complete shock. What the fuck is he doing?
Minho brought his mouth closer to your ear, never breaking eye contact with Jisung “(y/n)” He called sweetly, your eyes slowly opened “Look at Jisung.” He ordered. Your gaze followed to see Jisung on the other side staring at you. You feelings were so complex in this moment, your body felt so good but your mind was torn, you felt embarrassed and proud at the same time, you felt guilty and smug. Jisung’s body was stiff, his mouth agape letting out shallow shaky breaths. Your eyes followed his figure down until you saw him sitting with his legs apart and saw him twitch in his pants.
Suddenly you felt Chan’s lips against your neck, you couldn’t hold your sweet moaning gasp in. You saw Jisung’s eyes flicker wider “Jisung” Minho called “Do you understand yet?” He tilted his head, motioning him to look at the other boys. They boys piled together, watching as Chan sucked on your neck and played with your right tit. Jisung’s eyes shot back to Minho, he was speechless. All of them??? Minho smiled deviously “You.. All?” Jisung choked “(y/n). Tell Jisung what you’ve done.” Minho laughed “Who you’ve done.”
You couldn’t answer, you didn’t even know how to answer that. Trying to figure out words, Chan slid his hand inside and under your bra, pinching your nipple hard. You yelped in response, throwing your head back. Chan released himself from your neck “She’s been a little slut.” Chan smiled, watching you struggle as he rolled his fingers. Realizing that getting you to talk was futile, Chan began “First it was me” Minho smiled “Then it was me” “I was third” Jeongin added. Changbin awkwardly sat, almost sweating “Uh.. Well you already know.” Everyone let out a giggle “I had her next” Seungmin chimed “I got her to dance for me”Hyunjin smirked. Felix blushed and turned to look at Jisung “And he’s not a virgin anymore” Minho helped the shy Felix. “There’s just one thing missing Sungie.”
Jisung knew exactly what he was talking about, was this real? Is this really happening? “We want you to have exactly what you want.” Chan encouraged still fondling you. “Jeongin, take her shirt off.” He ordered. Immediately, Jeongin scrambled over and lifted your shirt over your head “Hyunjin, take her pants off.” Hyunjin came between your legs and peeled your bottoms off. You were nearly completely exposed, only in your bra and panties. The energy in the room shifted, they were hungry beasts. You were the only meal they could devour. Minho climbed behind you “Be good.” He whispered. He looked at Jisung “You were right, she’s so tight… She’s such a little freak.” He smiled wide, trying to provoke him. It was working.
Jisung was riled up to the tens. He was ready to fuck you into oblivion. His dick was begging to be released from his pants, painful almost. His fist clenched tightly to which Minho noticed “We’re going to have one more go with her and then you can have her. We’ll see who she belongs to.” Minho was malicious, he knew how to make Jisung tick. “Baby Bread, you’re up.” Minho announced. Jeongin loved watching but now he’s the watched. Taking a deep breath he stood up and leaned into a soft kiss with you. “Noona, are you ready?” His fox like expression came through with his smile. He kissed you again and traced his finger over your clothed pussy. “Tell me. Do you want me to fuck you like I did in the plane?”
Jisung adjusted himself to hear your answer, your words still lost somewhere in your brain. Minho wrapped his hand around your neck “He asked you a question” You gasped “Answer him.” You looked up at Jeongin still smiling and toying with your panties “…yes.” Minho still holding you in place, Jeongin reached around your ribs and unclasped your bra, leaving your beautiful breasts exposed to the captivated audience. “Felix, come play with her tits.” Minho tasked. He shyly made his way over, still new to him he at least new what you liked. Jeongin made his way to pull your panties down and off you. Felix’s sweet hand found your tit, he rolled your nipple between his fingers as he grabbed a handful of you.
You struggled against Minho’s grip, you looked down and saw Jeongin kneeling between your legs, his fingers dancing around your inner thighs. Your vision shifted to Felix’s mouth opening and inching closer to you, you felt his breath against your nipple. He lowered himself down and began sucking your nipple intently. You moaned but quickly yelped when you felt Jeongin’s slender finger plunge into you. Your head fell back into Minho’s shoulder, the sensations were exquisite. You could feel the eyes on you but only looked for one.
Jisung watched Jeongin’s fingers thrust in and out of you he could see the hint of resistance your tight pussy naturally had. Felix felt the goosebumps raise on your naked skin, he moaned deeply into your breast, the vibrations of his deep octave motioning into your body. You were worried that it wasn’t working for Jisung, that he was upset because he was so still and expressionless… Until you saw his hand sneakily rubbing his hard cock over his pants.
Being watched made you drip onto Jeongin’s fingers, the lewd squishing sounds got louder, mixed with the sounds of your moaning. “Ready to take Jeongin’s dick?” Minho sounded behind you. “Mh-m” You whined. Jeongin swiftly removed his clothes and lined himself up with your hole. Felix lifted his head to see him stretch you open, your eyes fell on Jeongin about to push himself in before he could Minho grabbed you under your chin “Look at him.” Forcing you to look at Jisung. He was panting, excited to see you spread open, his cock throbbing painfully underneath his hand.
Jeongin’s dick pushed into you and he let out a low groan, your walls sucking him inside. He pushed farther and farther until you pretty little cunt was full. “Fuck.” Changbin sighed, placing himself behind Felix, peering over his shoulder. This was so bad, it was so wrong but it was heavenly. Eight of the most beautiful men with no other focus than you. Even better, the one you loved looked at you with undying desire once again.
As Jeongin began to move in and out of you, you cried sweetly at the sensation of him penetrating you so deep. A continuous harmony of pants and moans escaping your mouth filled the boys’ ears. “Seungmin.” Minho called, Seungmin’s perked up like a puppy to his master “She’s a little loud don’t you think?” Seungmin smiled and leapt off the couch.
Jeongin continued giving you long strokes, every inch of his cock working it’s way in and out of you while Seungmin adjusted himself to your mouth. Minho still behind you “Open up.” He ordered. Your mouth fell open and your tongue stuck out. Seungmin slapped the tip of dick on your tongue, leaving the subtle taste of his precum on your tastebuds. Soon enough, your two holes were being filled. Your moans became muffled around the throat fucking Seungmin was giving you. Jeongin’s dick pulsed hard, watching his friend use your pretty little mouth worked him up he was quickly finding his finish. “Look at that, you’re already going to make him cum.” Minho pointed out
Being so full was working it’s magic on you as well, seeing everyone enjoy your body so much was making your clit thump in excitement. “Ah! She’s getting so tight..!” Jeongin whined. His thrusts became harder “Ah!” He moaned out, spilling himself inside you. It wasn’t long before the vibrations of your moans Seungmin’s cock brought him to completion. His brows tightened up as his thrusts jerked out spurts of hot cum down your throat.
Minho smiled deviously behind you “Swallow.” He ordered to which you obeyed. Panting from the stimulation, it was far from over. Your eyes drifted to Jisung aggressively palming himself, his chest was almost heaving. You looked exquisite, a complete whored out mess.
Before you could catch your breath, Hyunjin’s lips crashed into yours, plunging his tongue into your mouth. You groaned at the sweet taste of his lips. As your mouth top was preoccupied you felt your clit being rubbed up and down between your lips. Changbin pinched your cunt together, moving up and down, stroking your clit. You squirmed underneath Hyunjin and against Minho who kept you in place. “I can’t wait.” Changbin uttered, taking his pants off. Hyunjin smiled against your lips, pulling away he smiled “Are you ready?” You dazedly nodded. Hyunjin knelt next to you, pulling his pants down, letting his dick free. Both men aligned themselves at your openings.
“Wait.” Hyunjin called “Felix, let her jerk you off.” Felix blushed but pounced back over. His adorable eagerness never failed to make you feel some type of way. He shyly unzipped and pulled down his bottom, his tip leaking. You wrapped your delicate hand around him, making him whimper. “Focus.” Minho whispered. You felt Changbin’s wet tip slide between your folds, ready to suck him in. Hyunjin licked his lips before brushing the tip of his cock along your bottom lip. All at once, they both pushed into you and your hand instinctively moved down Felix’s length. All three men moaning in unison at the pleasure you brought them. All the movement being timed so perfectly.
Minho looked at Chan who sat behind Hyunjin. Chan was solid in his pants, he was ready to make you cream on him again. Minho was also getting excited, his dick was poking into your ass cheek, desperate to plunge into your tight cum filled walls.
“N-n-noona!!” Felix whined “It’s too good, I’m g-gonn-a” Something about Felix’s whimpers set of some kind of bell in Hyunjin and Changbin’s heads. He just sounded so cute and the fact that it was you making him so weak turned them both on even more. Hyunjin moaned, grabbing a fist full of your hair and began to throat fuck you. The head of his dick smashed into the back of your throat making the tears well up in your eyes.
Changbin’s point of view was a sinful sight. Your muffled choking around his friend’s cock, the way you stroked his other friend who was desperate to finish all over your tits. He grabbed your waist, and slammed into you. Your eyes widened and a few tears fell to which Minho wiped them away. “Almost, you got this.” He praised into your ear. Your senses were overwhelmed in the best way. Changbin’s thick length violently rocked into your pelvis, making you cum repeatedly. Felix almost on the verge of tears “Please…” Suddenly Hyunjin leaned over and began kissing his friend. Felix kissed him back without hesitation. All of you moaned loudly at the surreal sight. “Fuck!” Changbin yelled thrusting his cum hard inside you. Felix shuddered as he tasted Hyunjin. Hyunjin body twitched but his mouth never leaving Felix’s. Felix cried loudly as you stroked the cum out of him and onto your plush tits, strings of cum painting your erect nipples. Hyunjin’s right hand tightened his grip on your hair while his left held the side of Felix’s neck. His forehead pressed against Felix’s, he rammed himself into your throat one last time, releasing his essence into your mouth.
The three of them pulled themselves away, flopping onto the couch.
“Well done, princess.” Chan praised you. You looked over to him smiling before turning your eyes to Jisung. He was silent but fully feeling the moment. He was more than ready at this point. He looked at Minho, as if to say “Fucking hurry up.” Minho caught on and smirked “Hyung. I don’t think she’s had enough. Look at her, she’s creaming.” Minho reached down and spread your lips open to expose your dripping hole, Chan leaned forward to see your cunt oozing Changbin and Jeongin’s cum. “At this rate, I’d say she belongs to us.” Chan chuckled. This made Jisung boil.
You belonged to him. He knew that, they knew that, and you knew it. And he was going to show them what a cock whipped slut you are for him.
You breathlessly watched as Chan moved over to you. “Ready princess?” He smiled. You nodded shamelessly. Minho adjusted you to be on all fours, your head towards his crotch and your pussy angled up towards Chan. “Jisung, come get a better look. You have to see how much she loves getting fucked by Hyung and I.” Jisung immediately pulled the ottoman up and sat down. He leaned forward onto his thighs. Minho smiled and nodded at Chan.
Both men removed their clothing. “Look at Jisung.” Minho ordered. You shyly turned your face to meet his eyes, a rush of adrenaline and nerves flooded you. He looked at you with nothing but desire. Your clit throbbed and you felt your insides turn. Minho grabbed your chin and made you look up at him. “No time to be shy now.” He grinned. Without warning you felt a stretch “Ah!” you yelped.
Chan’s hands on your cheeks, he thrusted steadily. Minho forced your head up “Open.” The memory of the time on Jeju came back to you, you smirked back in defiance. Minho grabbed you by the hair “Hyung, teach her a lesson real quick.” You suddenly felt a harsh stinging on your ass, you wanted to physically react but your head was locked into place by Minho’s fingers in your hair. “Open your fucking mouth.” He ordered again, you obeyed without hesitation. He slid his cock in slowly before finding a rhythm.
Chan’s cock pumped in and out of you, the gentle curve of his dick rubbing your sweet spot. You moaned into Minho’s cock “Look at you, you love this don’t you? Being whored out in front of your ex.” Minho grunted and steadily picked up the pace. The rest of boys watched you get fucked, their minds still hazy but their bodies responding again to the stimuli.
“Look at me.” You looked up at Minho “You want Channie Hyung to fill you up?” Your mouth still full, you muffled a positive response “Hm?” His pace picked up “You’re just a cumslut aren’t you? Aching to be filled up by all these guys?” You moaned at the degradation, it was true. You loved being full of all of them but you were eager to be full of Jisung once again and have him fuck all their cum deeper inside you.
Chan moaned from behind you, crashing into you. “Be a good girl and make him cum.” He encouraged. Minho pulled out “Tell him.” “Cha-an..” Minho grabbed you by the hair again “Louder.” “Chan! Cum for me… please…!” Chan smirked at the response. Minho put himself back in your mouth. They both began to aggressively pound into you. “Ah.. Sh!” Chan groaned pushing himself as deep as he could inside you. “Aah-huh.” He choked, cumming inside you. “Ugh.” Minho groaned, seconds after Chan finished Minho shot his load into your mouth. “Don’t swallow, hold it.” He panted.
Obeying his instruction you held it in. “Look at him.” He turned your face to Jisung, whose mouth was agape “Open” Minho instructed. Your mouth fell open, Minho’s cum covering the inside of your mouth, dripping down your tongue. Jisung finally spoke “Fuck”.
“Who do you belong to?” Minho asked. You swallowed with no answer just staring ahead at Jisung. Minho smirked with pride. Him and Chan backed away, leaving you a cum filled mess on the couch in front of Jisung.
“Well?” Jisung questioned “Who do you belong to?” He pressed further. There were no words left in your system, all you knew was that you needed Jisung inside you.
He got up and stood in front of you, he pulled his shirt over his head. His pristine body on display for the room. “Do you need a reminder?” He leaned down, his face close to yours. Your lips burned, aching to have him. So distracted by his beautiful face you didn’t notice his hand creeping down to your beaten pussy. You felt his finger enter you without warning. You squeaked in surprise. “Look at them.” Jisung whispered, you turned your head and looked at the seven men who just rocked your world, all in awe that the sight before them. Jisung’s finger pressed up into your g-spot, he gently rocked the pad of his finger along. God, he remembered everything that drove you crazy.
Jisung leaned into your ear
“I’m going to make you cum seven times, look at them one by one. They need to know who exactly you fucking belong to.”
You shuddered into his voice. He turned your head back to him, all feelings moving through your bodies, his mouth found yours. Overwhelming emotion coursing through your veins, you desperately grabbed his face. Your hands cupping his full cheeks. His tongue rolled along your bottom lip, you opened your mouth and let him in. His delicious taste seeping into your tongue.
He pushed you onto your back and took his pants and boxers off. His perfect cock about to be back inside you. Desperate, he wasted no time in shoving himself in. You whimpered at the sensation “Ug-h, still so tight.” He snickered. His hips perfectly rolled into you, he grabbed your legs and pushed them back, giving him the access to fuck you deeply. “Jisung!” You cried, the feeling of the deep penetration getting to you. You eyes rolled back, Jisung throbbed inside you. “(y/n)” He panted “Look.” Your head fell to the side and you looked at Jeongin, he smiled as he watched you lose yourself.
An orgasm approaching you screamed out “Jisung!” You tightened up and released. “Count.” He ordered “One!” You cried. You looked at Seungmin next, a cheeky grin splayed across his face. Jisung slammed into you harder, your vision blurred and the overwhelming sensation took over. “Ah!” you yelled through your second orgasm. “Two!” Jisung opened and pressed your legs back further, he ground his hips upwards. You looked at Hyunjin, his fingers played at his lips. “Please Jisung!” You cried out “Cum.” His words were demanding. Another thrust in and explosions pulsed throughout your body. “Three!” Your eyes found Felix, he bashfully played with himself. Without mercy Jisung continued, determined to make you count all seven. Your body was spent, the pleasure was too much. Seconds later you found yourself creaming your fourth climax on Jisung. “Four!” Your gaze moved to Changbin, he sat awestruck looking at you being fucked into oblivion. Repeated thrusts crashing into your swollen cunt, your body twitched “Five!” Switching your view again, your eyes fell onto Chan, he leaned forward looking you in the eyes. You couldn’t take it, your mind was starting to go fuzzy but Jisung wouldn’t let up. “Ji-“ You tried but stopped at the sensation of his finger gliding up and down your clit. “Jisung..!” You wailed, exploding another gasm on his dick “Six!”
Finally, you looked at the man who orchestrated this fiasco. Minho proudly looked at you, he always knew who you belonged to. He chuckled softly “Well?” The unbearable sensation rushed over you again, you screams echoing throughout the apartment. “Seven!”
You weakly looked at Jisung, sweat coating his body. He was close, watching how weak you are for him was enough to make him bust but he needed to prove a point. You were his and only his, no one could make you cum like this, no one could stimulate your pussy so much you thought you couldn’t make it, no one would ever worship you the way he did.
His hand wrapped around your neck “Who do you belong to, (y/n)?” He panted. Without hesitation “You! Only you! Han Jisung I’m yours and only yours!” You cried “I belong to you!” Your words broke him, he thrusted hard and fast, you both moaned, cumming with each other for the first time in what seemed like forever.
Your eyes could barely stay open but you felt a fluffy sensation cover your body. You forcefully opened your eyes and saw that Minho had brought over a blanket for Jisung to wrap you in, Minho patted Jisung on the shoulder and then moved his hand along your head “You did good, (y/n)”. He looked at Jisung “Do not fuck this up again.” He smirked. Jisung smiled in response and then cradled you in his arms, your head resting against his chest. You watched as the boys scurried around to bring you water and some clothes.
You looked up at Jisung. “Sungie.” You rasped “Hm?” He immediately looked down into your puppy eyes “I love you.” He leaned in and placed a soft kiss on your lips. “I love you too.”

"Do you want me to drive on the way back?" Hyunjin asks as he climbs to the front seat.
You watch as Seungmin walks away from the car, straight into the store. Inuyasha sits in the back, now occupying the entire backseat now that Hyunjin is sitting in the front with you. The car is off but soft music plays from Hyunjin's phone.
"I'm fine. Like I said, the car is another safe space." You reply softly.
You lean your head on the headrest of your seat, turning to face out the window to take in the scene. It's gloomy out. Even in late October, it's too cold. If anything, you're glad to be in the warmth of the car. Seungmin is insane for wanting to be out in the cold.
Your eye focuses on Seungmin as you watch him walk out of the store empty-handed. You wait for him to get closer before rolling the window down.
"They didn't have what you're looking for?" You ask as you unlock the car for him to get in.
"I didn't look yet." He says as he pops his head in through the window.
"Then why are you back here? Did you forget something?" Hyunjin asks, looking around his seat.
"No," Seungmin turns to face you again. His bangs just barely reach the top of his eyelids. He dyed it recently, opting for a lighter color than you're used to. His blonde hair resembles the golden brown of Inuyasha's fur. In a way, it makes him look like your dog. "It's pretty dead inside. Do you want to come with me?"
bum, bum, bum
You freeze. You're not sure if it's the late autumn air coming in from the open window or your nerves, but the car suddenly feels much colder than it was just a few seconds older. You can't help but stare at Seungmin. His eyes are soft and concentrated, hoping for you to say yes. The car moves suddenly as Hyunjin adjusts himself in the seat.
"Seungmin, what are you--"
"I'm not talking to you, Hyunjin. I'm talking to my sister."
"She's my sister too, dumbass--"
"I'll go," You say quickly.
You blink at Seungmin, unsure of where this newfound confidence is coming from because you feel anything but confident. Your heart is pounding so hard in your chest that you can feel it in your throat. You’re waiting to throw up your heart any second. Your body feels cold and clammy. You regret your impulsive answer.
“Are you sure?” Seungmin asks, taken aback by your answer.
You think for a moment. The parking lot is empty, meaning Seungmin is right, the store is dead. You should be fine. Plus, you have Inuyasha, if something goes wrong, he knows what to do.
You quickly nod your head before you change your mind. If you need to, if it really is too much, you could always come to the car. Both Hyunjin and Seungmin share a look before Seungmin moves out of the way of your door. You roll your window up as you mentally prepare yourself to leave the car.
It's daunting, the idea that you're about to walk into a store. The risk of running into someone is exponentially higher than your walks with Changbin. He would purposely choose backroads to have less of a chance of seeing other people. But it's almost impossible to avoid running into someone in a store. Your hair might get jostled or your mask could fall, and then what?
You take one, long, shakey deep breath before opening your door and stepping outside. Hyunjin, who you weren't even aware left the car, hands you Inuyasha's leash. Inuyasha hovers closer than he normally does. You close the door behind you, taking one tiny, minuscule step forward before freezing.
"I..." You start, not sure what you want to say in the first place.
"It's okay, I got you," Seungmin says softly as he slips his hand in yours. Your fearful eyes turn to meet Seungmin's hopeful ones. He gives you a small smile.
déjà vu
An image of younger Seungmin flashes in front of you for a second. You remember, your first day at your new school after you entered the group home. You were scared. You didn't talk, having become mute from the shock of the accident that took your parents and your left eye. You weren't close with any of the other kids in the house yet. But on that first day, you stood outside the school gates, terrified to walk in, and Seungmin, barely 5 years old himself, took your hand and didn't let go until you were ready.
"When my mommy and daddy were being mean, I would get really scared. But then my noona would hold my hand and I would be not so scared anymore." His small voice echoes in your mind.
You spent most of your life with Seungmin holding your hand, dragging you along with him so you wouldn't be scared. Not once has he ever complained. Or if he did, he never said anything to you about it. Hyunjin was always on your other side, either with his arm around your shoulder or on your head. He took his job as the oldest of the trio seriously. Always the first one to run to you when you got hurt. Always the first one to say some smartass comment if anyone said anything rude to you. Always the first to get Chan or Changbin if they were needed.
You feel small, like you're 5 years old again, while you stand in the parking lot. But, with Seungmin's hand in yours and Hyunjin's arm being placed on your shoulder, you feel stronger than you did back then. You feel, not so scared anymore.
"Okay," Your grip on Inuyasha's leash and Seungmin's hand tighten as you turn to face the store again.
"We don't have to if you don't want to," Hyunjin whispers as he pulls you into a side hug. You weren't even aware that you were shaking until Hyunjin's grip tightly wrapped around your shoulders.
"I...I can go in. It's fine." You take one deep breath while you stare at the store.

"I need you to understand something--"
"Ah, what the fuck!" Jisung jumps as he opens the door to the apartment, dropping his phone and keys in the process.
He's been gone for a few hours, still trying to process his earlier conversation with Felix. He left him on read, which doesn't look good given the circumstances.
"Were you just sitting in the dark waiting for me to come home?" He asks, holding his hand to his heart.
"That makes me sound like a creep," Felix says as he flips the lights on.
"And you don't think you are?" Jisung finally calms down enough to pick up his phone, silently praying that the screen is still fully intact.
It's painfully quiet in the apartment. Neither Felix nor Jisung dare to say a word while Jisung checks his phone over. The tension from their earlier conversation still loomed over them. Felix teeters on the balls of his as he waits to say something, his earlier confidence completely disappeared when Jisung screamed. The nerve he built up while he sat around waiting for Jisung to come home.
"What were you saying?" Jisung asks as he slides his phone back into his pocket.
"Oh, right," Felix rubbed his hands together, trying to build up the nerve again. "I need you to understand something. I don't like, Y/n. Not like that."
"But?" Jisung hesitates, unsure where this is going.
"No buts. I don't like her like that. End of story." Felix says firmly, emphasizing his position with a final hand gesture.
"So our earlier conversation? The way you've been weird since you found out we were talking? What was that?"
Felix bites his bottom lip, thinking long and hard about how to respond. Because the fact of the matter is: Felix doesn't like you. To him, you're just one of his best friends, and that's all. But that doesn't mean he's not jealous. You're his best friend. He found you first and adopted you as a permanent fixture in his life ever since he was an awkward middle school teen.
"I don't like sharing," He explains simply.
"And?" Jisung walks past Felix, moving to the couch to continue the conversation. "Is Y/n some sort of toy? What are you getting at?"
"That's not what I'm saying. Look," Felix runs his hand through his hair, very nearly ripping it out. "There's not much in my life that I've had that was just mine. My clothes, my career, and my friendship with Y/n. That was it. I shared a room with my sisters and so much other shit throughout my life. I live in a shared space where we pretty much have everything be common use. But--"
"But you didn't have to share friends with Y/n?" Jisung finishes.
"Exactly," Felix finally sits down, leaning against the back of one of the couches.
"I'm sorry...But you're not exactly sharing her. We have our own inside jokes and conversations and all that."
"I know, but...If you two start dating and it goes south, your relationship with her isn't the only one going to suffer."
"What are you...?' Jisung asks softly.
Jisung freezes, finally understanding what Felix is getting at. If you and Jisung broke up, Jisung wouldn't be the only one heartbroken. Your relationship with Felix would be at risk too. Felix introduced the two of you, therefore, he's guilty by association. Felix would rather have Jisung hate him and be jealous than have you not in his life. Even if it makes him look selfish.
"I don't want you to talk to me about Y/n because I don't want to be caught up in your relationship if that's what you really want. I don't want to give her any reason to blame me or walk out of my life."
"You say that like you're expecting me to fuck up," Jisung sits up in his seat a bit.
"I'm not, but I know how Y/n is. She is my best friend. My platonic soulmate. And I want to keep it that way. I rather not have you two date, but that's not for me to say. Just--I don't want you to misunderstand."
Jisung sit quietly for a moment, his eyes fixed on the front door to the apartment. He gets where Felix is coming from. But at the end of the day, he would never dream of hurting you. He likes you. He may even be in love with you. Hurting him would feel like hurting himself. Insane for a relationship that developed by accident a few months ago. The way that you and your voice have completely taken over his brain terrifies and excites him all at once.
"I get that, I get your fear. But I would never hurt Y/n. I can promise you that. I'll take good care of her."

Do you think the show is biased against the Greens vs. Team Black? If so, how should the show have demonstrated that both teams are awful, in your opinion?
Hello anon!
I've got a lot to say on this one.
First of all, yes. I totally think that the show had some obvious kind of bias towards the Blacks. Not necessarily with the way the Greens were treated as devils with no likeable qualities except for Alicent (even if there are several instances of them doing so) but more because of the way the Blacks were whitewashed.
Rhaenyra.
Look, you'll never catch me not expressing my contempt for this woman, no matter the fact she was brought up by a man who did nothing but spoil, enable and indulge her in everything and anything she says and does. I can see the path they're taking in the show by adapting her as an irresponsible woman who flees at the minimal inconvenience and cowers to her dad at any minor inconvenience, but literally everything that makes her Rhaenyra Targaryen, Rhaenyra Targaryen, is removed.
She just looks like the next girlboss Targ Dragonrider queen after Daenerys. They basically made GOT season 8 and sent show!Rhaenyra as an apology. But in doing so they basically made her... Boring. Her and her children, which I don't love or hate. (The closest one I am to "liking" is Jace, I guess, but the leaks are just making me rethink everything again.)
I would've loved it if they had given us ONE pre-Dance book!Rhaenyra scene that would've made her appear more ruthless than what we have on the show, and not just the time when she offered 10 year old Aemond to be tortured. Make her ask Daemon to go after Vaemond (sorry pookie) like she did in the books, make her feed his corpse to her dragon. Sure that wouldn't have made me change my mind about how much I dislike her bUt it WOULD'VE made me go "damn she stands on business."
I wanted her to act out of grief and insist on going to war when she miscarried Visenya and lost her father, because although I don't think that the Greens did kill that poor little girl (she had dragon features and was likely going to die anyway) I do think that Rhaenyra should've been allowed her pain and the irrational and impulsive thinking that comes with it.
Alicent.
OH BOY.
Where do I even begin with this one?
Olivia Cooke SLAYED. Lemme just start with that. She took the whole cake and ate it too and left no crumbs. The direction they've taken with her is a realistic one, at least for the actions and decisions she's taking. Reckless, for sure. Risky, deathly even. Her fear is realistic, even for someone as Alicent Hightower no matter how much determination had protected her from dread.
What I don't like is the way she was treated as everyone's object and her shutting up about it. From Rhaenyra to Larys, everyone uses her for their own disgusting pleasures or outlet of frustration. And she's made to take it without fighting back even once. The one time she does, bless her, she's treated as a woman who's gone mad.
Now, I would've been fine with her taking all these hits if only they knew how to make Alicent change properly and completely from there. If it was me, the incident at Driftmark would be my start to revenge. No longer would I look at Rhaenyra with hope to reconcile with her. No longer would I bear any more of Viserys' shit when it's clear his first daughter (the image of his first wife) bears way more importance to him than me and all the four kids he forced me to have combined.
They'd have to nightly talk me out of suffocating him with my pillow a minute more for every wince and ache my now eyeless son suffers, for a month straight if not more. I wouldn't eagerly stand by his side and listen to his last words only to mistake them for permission to go along with my plans. I'd stand there passively at best, waiting for him to be done, before leaving the room.
Everything else can just be left the same way it was. Her fear when she realizes the effect Viserys' death has on her and her children is realistic. I'd break down for a moment too. I'd act as soon as I could too. I'd cry tears of relief, dread, grief (depends on how you interpret that scene) too. After letting his stinky ass rot for a fortnight. I would've preferred this to be a "there was a plan, but we weren't ready to act it out" situation more than a "what the fuck is going on" situation.
I'd also slap that "you toil in service of other men" dialogue from Rhaenys right back in her face (sorry grandma) since if we're talking about the show, it's literally the only thing she has done throughout the season.
House Velaryon.
HEAVY on this one. They have been done so wrong on so many levels. Every single one of them.
Laena was made to "pursue" Daemon, she changes from a precious, small and shy little girl to a confident, seductive young woman (teenager for fuck's sake, screw everyone who thought making her change this way would've been good) and later on a side piece, "the one Daemon settles for because he can't have Rhaenyra" even if it was known that she was the only one he was never unfaithful to, "she's made her peace" (WTF???????).
It apparently never hits Corlys that the bitch who he believes has made him childless (I AM TALKING ABOUT DAEMON) deserves no support from him and his house or that Luke should actually become a ward there at Driftmark if he's so adamant on keeping this farce that he's a Velaryon and the next Lord of the Tides.
Vaemond is seen as the odd, evil and power hungry one for pointing out that his house is falling into an OBVIOUS bastard's hands whether this kid likes it or not (even as my support for this claim goes as far as questioning Luke's parentage) and to add insult to injury he's made to say Rhaenyra is a whore, which never happened in the books.
The Silent Five are removed completely, Vaemond's sons as well (@redrosesandcharmingsouls knows I was FROTHING at the mouth waiting for Daemion Velaryon to make an appearance but the motherfuckers couldn't even give me that) so that we don't have any kind of reason to believe an execution so brutal and unjust had any repercussions on the support House Velaryon has on the Blacks overall. They are made into Rhaenyra's cheering squad through and thorough, even if they have every reason to be anything but.
The Laenor situation is actually really fucking funny. They made him leave instead of killing him to not bury the gays and they aren't aware that this has totally fucked everything up. Like thanks for telling me ALL of Rhaenyra's children are bastards. Cool, HOW THE FUCK TO YOU HANDLE SEASMOKE NOW?
Aegon II.
No this isn't an apologist post. I'm actually slithering on the ground on my knees for TGC daily but Aegon is a clusterfuck right now, no matter how you look at it. They tell us he's a psycho drunken rapist and he likes to watch children fighting every Sunday and when you actually see his adult version he's a crying love starved bitch of a man and he winces and frowns when Vaemond's head is cut off.
Instead of taking the throne to protect his children, he takes it because he's forced. And that makes Alicent the villain in everything once again. Now it doesn't matter if you look at the book version or what we see of the show version, everywhere you look this is just out of character.
It's inconsistent. He's made the worst thing ever so people can say "See??? They believe a rapist is better to put to the throne than our girlboss virtuous heir!!!" you either make him a psycho or a touch starved baby, why make both?
So yeah, I think this is all. For now. We'll have to see how this show progresses to see if I change my mind in any way.
Thanks for the ask!!!! ^_^

I couldn't contain myself, I had to write something for Reo. He's been plaguing me.
Nagi's stepsis! Reader x Reo (kinda enemies to lovers sort of)
Wordcount: 1k-ish
TW: Dubcon (Reo is a perv and a little selfish and a lot impulsive), explicit scenes and language, all characters over 21+, this wasn't rushed but written pretty quick cause my brain was working for once. Hope everyone enjoys 💕 likes, reblogs, and comments always appreciated.
Tumblr media
Reo always acted like he hated you, couldn't stand that you were even on the planet, despite being the one to insist on staying at Nagi's place. Where he knew you would be. Nagi's pretty stepsister who, Reo claims, is the bane of his existence; always arguing with him and being pouty like the spoiled brat you were.Nagi had explained to him on the ride over that you were just staying with him for a bit as you finished up the last semester of university before you moved into an apartment with one of your friends; But how was he supposed to keep up the facade and act like he wanted nothing to do with you when you were flouncing around his best friends house every time he showed up, with your glossy lips and gorgeous eyes that begged him to fuck your throat till tears were spilling from them. He'd never admit it to anyone but his favorite piece of material in his spank bank was a picture of you at your birthday dinner last month, wearing the tight houndstooth pattern skirt he had bought for you and and looking absolutely gorgeous in it. Had he handed you the gift bag and barely uttered a happy birthday before heading off to the gym with Nagi? sure but it didn't mean he liked you. Just... begrudgingly tolerated you. Despite stroking his cock till it was nearly raw every night to thought of fucking you full of his cum and make you his girl.
○●○●
Reo had been trying and failing for the last hour to concentrate on the game him and Nagi were playing online with Yoichi and Hayoma; but the only thing in his mind was you and that whiney voice of yours. Bratty. Pleading with "Shiro-ni" to let you have the big tv in the living room to watch one of your dumb movies, despite having a perfectly good fifty inch flatscreen in the guest room you were staying in to use. Reo couldn't help the way his dick had jumped at your begging, his breath stuttering as all the blood in his brain rushed south. He wanted you whiney and begging for him, tone dripping with lust and brain full of nothing but him.
"Died again. Damn it" Nagi groaned rolling his eyes when he Chigiri taunted him over the headset, "what is up with you tonight?". It took a moment for Reo to realize Nagi was talking to him.
"Huh? Nothing, what's up with you?" He retorted, shifting uncomfortably in the beanbag as his cock throbbed and strained against his sweatpants, "been letting us get our asses kicked".
"Me? You're the one over there spacing out thinking about my sister". Reo's heart began hammering in his throat and he could feel his face heating.
"Oh god as if" He scoffed, rolling his eyes and breaking contact to look away, "She's so goddamn annoying".
"Right, I know you like her dude" Nagi said simply, getting up to switch his controller now that the battery had died before the next round.
"Whatever, Im gonna go piss I'll be back" Reo said, his jaw tight.
"Grab those chips we got at the convenience store earlier while your out there". Reo waved him off as he shut the door but he would grab them anyway. He didn't actually have to piss, he just wanted to leave the room and break the tension, Damn that white haired bastard for calling him out and being right.
Reo didn't see you when he walked out into the living room, the last twenty minutes of your movie still playing and setting the room in a bright glow. It wasn't until he got to the doorway of the kitchen that he saw you, sprawled out asleep on the couch, the throw blanket you had been using falling off onto the floor and leaving your shirt rucked up and short sleeps shorts on full display. He nearly swallowed his tongue when he realized you were wearing one of the T-shirts he had left over here, an old one from when he was in BlueLock. The sight of your soft skin with the cotton pulled up, knowing you most definitely were not wearing a bra underneath, had his blood running hot again; saliva pooling against his tongue and his cheeks burning like open flames. 'Chips, get the chips' He chided himself, turning his back and going to the cabinet to pull the bag out. But then he was in the doorway again, bag lightly gripped in his hand as he stood there a moment, just gazing at you and wondering about everything wrong with him. Everything inside him that was shuffling his feet forward to get a look under your loose shorts, just a look. He'd just pull them to the side real easy and you'd never even know. He was on his knees at the side of the couch, chip bag forgotten on the floor, feeling equal parts shame and excitement as he hooked his fingers beneath the soft material; feeling the lacy edges of your panties. You were so warm under his fingers and it made him throb to think about how wet you'd be, what you'd taste like. He bit back a groan as he let his mind wander for a moment, thinking about how sweet you would be against his tongue and how much he craved it. Craved it like a dog. He couldn't help the feelings of shame dissipating as the mental image of you spread bare and dripping for him broke the last of his restraint. It would only be a taste, just to quell the urge and allow him a little self indulgence. That wasn't wrong right?
Reo was still delicate as he moved your shorts and underwear to the side, not wanting to risk waking you by trying to take it all off, his bright purple eyes taking in every bit of skin he could see until he finally had your pretty pussy on display.
"God, angel just look at you" he murmured just below the volume of the tv, inching his face closer to your exposure until he brushed his nose against the wiry hairs at your mound. He was fulfilling every fantasy he had the moment he sucked your clit in against his tongue, running the slippery muscle up to nudged at the sensitive little bud before dipping down to taste at your entrance, your body tensing beneath his hand lightly on your hip. He couldn't get too greedy, not wanting to wake you but also so so desperate to make you cum so you'd drip against his tastebuds. He tried so hard to be gentle, delicate and light with his menstruations but the more of you he tasted, the drunker he became; vision growing hazy and his moans getting harder and harder to hold back. He was trying so hard not to buck his hips, to not cum in his pants like some inexperienced teenager, rolling and suckling your clit with his lips and tongue stimulating you so much your hips began to unconsciously chase his mouth anytime he attempted to pull away, which only drove him more crazy. You wanted him, you needed him,at least that's what his fuzzy brain was screaming. Craved him as much as he craved you for the first time and his animal brain wasn't about to let up and disappoint you. He needed you to cum for him, needed it like his lungs needed air, and any thought other than getting you to that high was irrelevant; his cock heavy and leaking through his underwear a distant thought. Drool was smearing from his lips against your puffy clit and the light rub of his teeth against your sensitivity had a breathy moan gracing his ears. Reo thought he had died and gone to heaven when he felt a hand card through his violet hair, and not that you had awoken when a desperate groan had spilled from his lips and vibrated against your pussy. He didn’t stop, trying in vain to gain his breath as his heart sat like a rock in his stomach and he was barely able to look up knowing that you would be looking at him.
"Reo?" you mumbled sleepily, pressing up against his fervent mouth even as uncertain butterflies burst through your stomach. You could practically feel the heat radiating off his face as he grunted a confirming sound, not able to tear himself away even as he gained the courage to flash his gaze up to you when you didn't push him away. The stars in his eyes were infectious, addicting in a way you weren't expecting as he looked at you; his pupils blown wide and expression pleading you not to reject him as he pressed closer to devour you and bring you to your high. You were a lot closer than you thought, the feeling of him spitting messily against your clit sending you over the edge with a cut off moan, your hand clamping over your mouth so as not to alert Nagi, your legs tensing around Reo's broad shoulders and shivers running up your spine. He eased back just as your toes uncurled, pressing soft kisses against your inner thighs and smearing your slick against your skin and across his chin. You giggled breathlessly, focusing on the feeling of his shallow breaths and the softness of his hair beneath your fingers.
"Reo, if you wanted me so bad all you had to do was say pretty please" You admitted quietly, watching as the purple haired man smirked and bit your flesh teasingly before shouldering his way past your thighs till your legs were around his waist and his lips were hovering over yours, the pussy drunk look on his face only sending heat to your core again. He kissed the corner of your lips and then your cheek before trailing down your throat to your pulse point, a shaky breath and groan fanning your skin.
"P-Pretty Please"

One thing I'm not noticing anyone else talking about—the production value thing is not because they think it's what the fans want. It's not. They want to go for higher production value, it's important to them. That's not a bad thing. Ryan has stressed multiple times on podcasts, behind the scenes content, even the live appearance I saw him at that it's important to him their new media is better quality than Unsolved. I think part of that is just anxiety that what they make isn't good enough, but I'm also sure it's a natural artistic yearning to want to expand and grow. Shane and Steven probably feel the same way about their shows. Ryan has also mentioned how taxing it is for so much of the channel to be about him, which he mentions again in the video with the comment about wanting to expand with other creators. And there's nothing weird about that! That's just facing realistic burnout. The vibe in the announcement video from Shane and Ryan is extremely telling of burnout. They're growing the content because (1) it's exhausting for them to make the exact same style of content for the 8+ years they've been doing it, and one of the ways to get past burnout is by pushing your boundaries and growing creatively; and (2) just making the shows, all of the shows, with themselves as the camera-facing element has to be exhausting for them.
I still think this is a bad decision but I think it's one grounded in their own creative impulses and how hard they've been working for several years now, not some urge to suddenly live the high life. They want to make stuff they're personally proud of, and right now that's beyond their means. I'd make an argument that they should opt for scaling back instead of jumping forward right now, but that doesn't mean they're making this choice because they hate their fanbase or are suddenly a big corporation. They've made a mistake, and hopefully they'll be able to tweak the Watcher TV system in the next couple days to make it more affordable for all.

there was talking when you woke up —muffled and slurred by your sleepiness,— from where you presumed was outside of the room. you shift to face the windows, where lloyd and his displaced chair was when you fell asleep to find that he focused on the door with narrowed eyes staring holes as he listened. he always had better hearing than you.
“hi,” he quietly greeted you, examining you for any discomfort with the firm, cold —though now a little softer, you think— look he had when looking at the door; he returned his attention back to continue listening to the commotion. you look up at him with confusion on your face, squeezing his hand to get his attention but it doesn’t budge him much. “skywalker?” this time, you call in hopes you get some explanation.
though, you can't deny the focused look on his face is adorable.
he squeezes your hand back, perking up as the conflict grows loudly outside of the room. he shook his head, looking back at you with a soft warmth in his eyes. “sorry, i was trying to piece that story together,” he admits, a little sheepish smile on his lips as he beams softly at you.
  “and?” now you’re curious.
“so, i think the first lady, wanted to see someone –who i guess just got admitted in– but there’s another lady who said she can’t– so they got into an argument of who can and can’t do what,” he breaks it down quickly with his attention divided between you and outside; the commotion had died down now and the sound of light shuffling began to sink away. “sounds like some family drama.”
“sounds less terrible than our drama– speaking of… what’s up with your father, may i ask?” it's an impulsive question you ask, but you keep your tone light in the case he decides to back away from the topic. lloyd was never one to talk or ask about his father, a man you doubt he knew. he sought to find that affection in your father, who willingly showed it to the boy.
lloyd tensed up (you mentally curse yourself for being curious about his father) before returning his full focus on you and the topic at hand, he gnawed a little on his lip and looked down to where your hand was intertwined with his. the blond cleared his throat and spoke in a low, uncertain tone, “he was a tyrant.”
that was all he said for several minutes, leaning down to rest his head on the soft covers and mattress of your hospital bed, still avoiding your eyes. “had been trying to take over ninjago for… months? years?” he hesitantly continues, looking up with soft –hurt– eyes.
“that’s– why he left. but he’s better now. nothing like what he was before– not all evil and.. he’s my dad now,” lloyd explains, putting his explanation in simple words as a hesitant smile grows on his lips.
you sit up slowly, threading a hand through his hair, you smile at him with a similar, warmer softness to comfort him. “are you scared of being him, what he was?” he nods a little, leaning into your touch. “you won’t be, lloyd. you’re a good person,” your words are soft spoken —but they’re true— as you watch him, he sighs quietly before nodding again.
“i– i know.” his voice was small, soft with uncertainty and slight fear mixing despite his agreement. “thanks,” he mumbles, looking up at you with a small smile on his lips.
“anything for you,” you muse, smiling back as he closes his eyes and enjoys the feeling of you playing with his hair so delicately. your words have a gentle tone of promise in them, a little love and adoration. you mean it, you’d do anything for him.
lloyd looks up at you, peeking with one eye as he questions your words a little, noticing the vague underlying tone of them. but he drops his curiosity and chuckles a little, lifting his head up so your hand holds his face in a not awkward way. lloyd tilts his face inward, pressing his lips to your palm softly and, in the process, making your heart swell a little. “right back at you.” you smile back at him, his own words were sweet enough for you.
he hums, leaning into your hand with one of his holding it gently.
“hungry?” he asks a little quietly, squeezing your hand a little. you shake your head, “not really.” lloyd laughs, kissing your palm again —oh, why did he do it a second time?— before pulling away and reaching for the table at the foot of the bed with his unoccupied hand and sliding it towards you —the other was still holding yours. “you say that but you’ll be hungry in less than a minute.”
he’s right, you both know it– proves that you two haven’t changed much in your years apart, proves that your friendship’s still the same; something you’re fortunate for having.
“eat up when you’re ready.” he leans back on his chair and hums a little, smiling while focusing on your hand in his.
you stare at the food, conflicted on whether or not to prove him right on his observation, opting to change the topic. “who– uh, the ninja? who are they now?”
he squints a little out of confusion before sighing as he thinks of an answer, humming for a bit before he speaks. “as the name suggests, they’re ninja.” he looks at you, waiting for you to ask more questions so he can answer accordingly.
when you nod he smiles and continues. “there’s six of them, each have an element and a colour assigned to them and usually what they’re referred to depends; except the water ninja because she and lighting ninja are both blue, one darker and the other brighter– uh, respectively. she’s newer to the team compared to him so he’s preferred to as the blue ninja as well. sometimes she’s red and blue, so it’s easier to call her the water ninja.
“the fire ninja is red and the ice one’s white. the earth ninja’s colour is black and lastly the green ninja is… green,” he explains– rambles harmlessly, looking to the side unfocused as he talks.
the last sentence answers your question, one you didn’t want to ask but regardless sought an answer for, you’re a little hesitant to ask. “green ninja?” “yep, he’s the one that brought you here,” lloyd confirms.
“he and the water ninja were on patrol, and they were in the area when you were–” he stops, eyes hardening when he almost mentions the earlier incident. you watch him, sighing and squeezing his hand. “i’m okay now, lloyd. it’s fine, i’m fine.” you smile at him with a soft understanding look in your eyes. he nods. “i know.”
the guilt claws at his insides —you can tell he feels it, but you’re unsure as to why— as he buries his face in the crook of his other hand and the blankets. he places your hand back on his head and rests his head on both arms more comfortably. “i’m glad nothing worse happened to you,” he says muffledly, glaring straight ahead at the blankets.
there was something he wasn’t saying, conflicted as he bit the sleeve of his hoodie slightly with eyes glued to the blankets. you combed through his hair, soft blond fluffiness with brown peaking out in a few curly locks. you sighed, patting his head to get his attention. lloyd tilted his head to glance up at you, questioning you.
“let’s eat?” you asked, willing to prove him right if it might his mind be taken of whatever he was thinking about. he smiled a little, a mischievous sparkle in his eye as he sat up. “of course,” he’s grinning ear to ear as he pulls the table closer to you, food rattling a little and grabbing something from his bag. “nya made some food for you and sent, and hospital food is a solid no.”
“thank nya then,” you sigh happily, watching him unwrap something, a sandwich he probably packed for himself. you slide him some of much food nya sent, “eat,” you command, staring at him challengingly.
“no.” he stared back, a mischievous grin on his lips.
  well, this’ll be fun.

Upon request, today we have a rec list of bottom Louis fics where Louis or Harry are bakers. If you enjoy our rec lists, please be sure to like and reblog this post to help spread the word. Happy reading!
1) Christmas Lights In Paris | Mature | 4,671 words
Harry vividly remembered the day he was foolish enough to be blinded by pointless rage. It had been on Louis' birthday, a year ago, and Harry had bought tickets to Paris for both him and Lou. He had expected Louis to come with him to Paris for 3 years, without really talking about the plan to his lover. Everything went down hill when Louis refused. "You think your bakery is far more important than I am?" Were the exact words he had spewed and stormed off.
2) Don’t Say Yes, Run Away Now | Not Rated | 5,076 words
Louis is getting married and Harry made a promise. Plus, he has a plan. Kind of.
3) Too Nervous To Be Lovers | Mature | 6,445 words
Louis doesn't want to spend quarantine with Harry, his straight roommate, who doesn't even acknowledge his existence.
4) I Built This Bed For Two (I Built This Bed For Me and You) | Explicit | 8,942 words
Harry and Louis broke up after uni and haven't seen each other since—until they're roped into doing a Buzzfeed video together. Featuring awkward cuddling and a reunion that just needed a kick in the arse, gleefully provided by Niall.
5) Feel My Love | Explicit | 10,479 words
Note: This fic is locked and can only be read by AO3 users.
Louis always gets things done on time, he just takes a detour along the way. The detour? Having sex with Harry. Harry never brings it up. Until he does.
6) Were We Ever This Young? | Explicit | 17,297 words
Hogwarts AU in which Harry and Louis both return to give talks to seventh years about the 'real world' with slightly varying results. Inspired by the Chilton scene between Rory and Paris in the new Gilmore Girls.
7) Heart of Sugar, Sweet Temptation of Mine | Explicit | 25,600 words
The process of courting is seriously outdated nowadays, it's not common anymore; people don’t want to go through the hassle of a proper courtship, dating is easier. Louis though, he was raised in a very traditional family, every member, down to his parents, had a courting and a mating ceremony. He grew up hearing stories about how wonderful it is, how much deeper the connection gets between a courting pair can get, and he's wanted that for himself since he was a pup, always dreaming of his alpha showing up and sweeping him off of his feet. His dreams seem to be coming true when he moves into a new building, closer to where he works, and the older alpha living in the flat in front of his own, initiates the courtship process. Everything he's ever wanted is within reach. Or is it?
8) Confections Of The Heart | Explicit | 25,877 words
Harry chuckles, smiling when Louis’ breath hitches as he reaches up to brush his thumb over Louis’ cheek. “Louis, would you like to go on a date with me?” He still worries that the date won’t go well, that Harry will get bored of him or decide it’s too complicated dating an omega with a pup, but he nods anyway, “Yes.” It feels worth it when Harry’s lips widen into a grin and the dimple that Louis finds quite charming craters into his cheek. Who knows, maybe it won’t be as awkward as you think, Louis thinks to himself and follows Harry to where Oliver is watching a chef with a loud laugh show the pup how to sculpt with chocolate. Maybe this time it’ll work out.
9) At Your Fingertips | Explicit | 27,399 words
He finds himself wrapped up in sheets in bed on Thursday night, staring at the familiar name on a new story that was posted the night before. His fingers twitch, ready to hit play and surrender to his impulses, saving the regret and turmoil for later. And still he hesitates, internally praying that he’ll somehow gain the strength to exit out within the next few moments before he inevitably loses his patience and hits the button. Three… Two… One. Play.
10) Tis the Season for...Love? | Mature | 27,920 words
Louis might just be what Harry's needed all along.
11) Short And Sweet | Explicit | 29,658 words
Louis is a shy university student in a world scarce of male omegas. He's always dreamt of having an alpha despite his sheltered upbringing, fantasizing about being loved and cared for. He's immediately smitten by the mysterious alpha with curly hair, broad shoulders, and the addictive coffee scent.
12) Welcome Home | Explicit | 49,417 words
Louis Tomlinson had to put a stop to his football career for a couple of months and he decided to go back home to rest his mind for a little bit only to find out a really weird coffee shop owner started to visit his mother on a regular basis with just as peculiar but lovely kid named Maxine.
13) Taken Over By The Feeling | Mature | 53,654 words
After almost a year of increasingly troubling behavior, Louis agrees to let his sister live with him. It's a last resort before more drastic measures are taken by their mom. Harry Styles runs Given A Chance, a program for troubled and disadvantaged teens out of the bakery he owns. He offers the kids in his program what he believes they need to start on a different and better path for their lives. Louis learns all too quickly that Harry's goodwill does not extend to him. Only because he happens to remind Harry of an ex he'd rather forget. It's not the smoothest of beginnings, but in the end Louis' own issues might be the real problem.
14) Beachwood Cafe | Mature | 63,562 words
The AU where Louis works in a cute little beachside cafe after running away from his problems and Harry is the tall handsome stranger who makes him question everything.
15) Wild Thing | Mature | 65,950 words
Harry doesn’t think love is for him, until Louis shows him just how wild love is.
16) Alpha's Sweet Omega | Not Rated | 66,133 words
Every soulmark differs from Alpha to Beta to Omega. It’s like a puzzle piece that connects you to your soulmate. Some legends from the ancient times say that when you have an aching soulmark, you’re close in finding your mate, and you’ll know that it is your mate when the scent transcends and entices you. And the pain in the mark will subside when you touch your mate. But what if you are already bounded to someone who is not your Alpha? Does social status matter? Will an Alpha fight for his rightful place and win the love of his Omega? The story of love and facing the odds. Making the impossible possible. The things you will do for Love...
17) Pinkies Never Lie | Explicit | 83,615 words
AU in which Louis hates his job and loves Harry, Harry just wants a distraction, everyone else wants them to get their shit together, and Louis learns the hard way that new beginnings are only possible when something ends.
