thinking of how Crosshair would unintentionally reach out for his s/o’s hand whenever his shakes, calming down for a moment but still feels too proud at times to admit it, but you still see a faint blush when he does

PheeTech thoughts featuring the rest of Tech's family.
Wrecker is a major PheeTech shipper- whenever he sees them together he's giving them that exaggerated wink and thumbs up. He always makes an excuse to leave them alone. Even when he set up the situation he's like "Oh I have to..... I have to walk the ship..... I have to oil Batcher............ okay bYE" and while Tech and Phee don't mind... they like laughing at the excuses as they get more and more insane. But Phee and Wrecker love each other very much. They're chaos incarnate. Please separate.
Crosshair was an unintentional hater until he and Phee actually met. He didn't like the stories (and he had expectations... being told she's a pirate and all) so when Phee met him and was like "oh!!!! You're that Imperial LOSER who tried to murder Brown Eyes!!!!!! Fun :D" He's taken aback. But then again he isn't. Because of course his snarky brother would love a snarky woman. Especially one as brash and thrill-seeking as Phee. Crosshair became a PheeTech lover after the events of s3 (where it all ends happily ever after. of course.) And Phee's seen worrying about Tech (either recovering from the fall or recovering mentally from being CX/being under Hemlock, whichever you prefer). Her being that concerned really sold it for him.... she's okay in his books. Don't tell her. She won't leave him alone then.
Hunter appreciated Phee much more after Tech fell. At first, he was greatful for her opening Pabu up to them and all, but they didn't speak much unless there was a third party (Tech) around to give him a reason to. No bad blood or anything- they just didn't talk. After Tech, though? He learned how much they really loved each other, and through shared grief???? Hunter and Phee became besties. They shared stories from Tech's infamous yapping sprees that spilled some of his serious secrets- secrets you wouldn't know unless you really listened. Which they did :')
OBVIOUSLY Tech and Phee love each other. They kiss and hold hands. Duh. But Tech seeing how close she's gotten with the most important people in his life?? The people whose opinions he holds most dear and near to him???? Seeing her love and appreciate the people he lives by just as he does????????? Ough. Tech's falling so hard he doesn't even know it.
Anyway I always have more PheeTech thoughts but here <333 my beloveds

eli’s pov in treason is very interesting. he’s a lot more level headed, somehow confident in his abilities and yet he isn’t (king of self doubt). he’s mellowed out a bit (still has a temper though). this all accumulates when he interacts with thrawn, which means to say eli basically sees thrawn and goes “AHHH!” and then throws up on his shoes.

Obikin fic (Flexibility is very important, Padawan)
(I'm sorry I have no self-control)
*****
Anakin sobs, great hitching breaths shuddering inside his chest and his heart banging like a drum against his ribcage. “Master, I can’t do it!”
“Yes you can, dear one, you’re doing so well already,” Obi-Wan coos at him, his lips and beard grazing the shell of Anakin’s ear. His body is warm and heavy on Anakin’s back, pushing into him ever so gently–and unrelentingly. Anakin feels every bead of sweat trickling down his own neck acutely, points of relief from the furnace raging under his skin everywhere.
“It hurts, Obi-Wan, I can’t, I can’t–”
Anakin whines as Obi-Wan puts more of his weight on his back. His Master’s grip on his waist and shoulder is so tight, and he imagines that if he were to bring his tunic up right now, he’d see blooming bruises in the form of handprints on his skin.
“Just a little bit more, Anakin, you can take it, that’s a good boy–”
“Master–”
They both groan in ecstasy as Anakin’s fingertips finally reach his toes.
“What the kark is happening here?”
They both look up at the voice interrupting their bubble. Ahsoka stands in the entryway of her and Anakin's rooms, mouth agape and eyes as wide as saucers.
“Hello there, Ahsoka. I’m just helping Anakin stretch out his muscles. After spending a week in the healing halls, Healer Che said he might need help gaining back some of his lost mass and his flexibility,” Obi-Wan calmly explains as he finally stops pushing against Anakin’s back and sits back on his haunches. Anakin moans in relief and straightens out his aching spine from where he was almost parallel with his stretched out legs.
Ahsoka splutters. “But why is he crying? Skyguy, why are you crying?”
Anakin whimpers. “It hurts real bad, Snips. And Obi-Wan won’t listen to me!” He turns to glare at his Master with tears still shining on his cheeks. The bastard only rolls his eyes.
“Oh, stop being such a baby, Anakin. I put you through so much worse before.”
“But I was not recovering from an injury then!”
“And you’d be back to the Healers if we didn’t do this for at least ten minutes! Healer Che was very explicit in her instructions–”
Ahsoka just stares at them as they continue bickering, seemingly having forgotten that she was still in the room with them. She heaves a sigh heavenward and leaves them to it–they’ll take ages to stop anyway.

Theory: The Clone X was not Cody like some people think or even Fives (I know he's been dead for a very long time but so was Boba Fett and look where we are. Plus, Echo was supposed to be certainly dead too; making him Winter Soldier-esque storyline wouldn't be that surprising) or not even Slick.
((Also, now that we've seen his face devoid of any tattoos or scars I think first two takes are definitely not applicable anymore; they wouldn't put that much effort to make him unrecognizable))
Back to the point: In my opinion, The Clone X was none other than...
Fox.
Now let me explain.
Who else, other than X, was loyal to the law and justice dictated by it over any moral or ethic code?
Fox.
Who else was portrayed with such single-minded focus on hunting down traitors of the government he served, regardless of what it was?
Fox.
Who else could know not only Coruscant so well but also identify Rex like they knew each other?
He already was a remarkably successful tracker of traitors, why not make him more efficient by pointing them out for him?
Good soldiers follow orders, after all.
#clone assassin#commander fox#star wars tbb#i know that hes got killed really early after Order in comics but i would honestly prefer him to die this way#the bad batch spoilers#commander cody#arc trooper fives#tcw slick#cc 1010#star wars#sw tbb#sw the bad batch#the bad batch season 3#tbb theory#we dont even know for sure how he looks like cause in one moment we see corries without helmets all of them have standard paintjob#idk if its just animation error but because of it we cant be 100% sure fox ever regreted it without him being shown grieving with rest#hes just taking a breath when fives is dying and personaly i see it more as him rolling his eyes that rex is being mushy with traitor#but there are 3 clones behind fox when hes shown and then the one taking off his helmet stands beside 2 others so it may actualy be it???#and if he DOES regret it imo is more in 'shame i had to do it' rather than 'shame i did it' way if you know what i mean#hes just doing his job and hes GOOD at it. not his fault that him being competent is bad for the good guys#my point is: outside of one page incomic that can be at any point made noncanon or recontextualized theres no evidence that it cant be him#they already retconed more important things. why not this?#i think its likely that in case im right we can assume that all named corries were made into CloneX#none of them appeared yet despite how much of action happens on coruscant#and only thorn died on screen; in a way preventing him from being viable option nonetheless#three hits point blank months before Order seem unlikely but theyve done weirder things so him returning wouldnt be THAT weird so uhh idk#but yeah cx-02 is tech#winter soldiering doesnt stop#i mean THIS could be fox/other corrie but it being tech is way too cliche oportunity to waste it on them (derogatory towards disney)#pls disney let corries hunt down traitors like they used to pls

AU where Anakin drops out of training halfway through his Padawanship and starts a mechanic shop of his own. This, predictably, saves the galaxy.
Because let's be real, he would be insanely good at it. This leads to several patents running under his name by the time he is 18, including but not limited to
A very easy and cheap to build scanner that *can* be used for detecting slave chips (the Hutts are Not Amused by the skyrocketing number of freedom trail escapees. There is a bounty on his head because he is silently donating a lot of his money to the people organizing said freedom trails. Anakin is aware of this but doesn't let it show. It is a badge of honor, but not one everyone knows how to read. The people who do know know either way.)
a little addition to hyperspace antennae bc he wanted!! to talk to!! his mother!! more often!! that coincidentally completely revolutionized military communication (Anakin is unaware of this)
some type of hyperspace engine modification just because ships and space travel are cool. This also starts to revolutionise research in that area; "The Force told me I could" may not be a valid basis for a scientific project, but "How the kriff does that mechanic DO THAT" sure is
Probably some lightsaber modifications bc come. On. There's no way he wouldn't find a way to improve those. (In the ensuing legal battle, it is noted that the construction and possession of lightsabers is no longer prohibited to the general public. Some Jedi Shadows slip away and do some investigating into when exactly that was changed. And by whom.)
He can’t buy his mother back because even though he has the money now, Watto won't sell her in the hopes of extorting him with her welfare. Anakin is this close to hiring a bounty hunter to deal with this and rescue his mum by himself. Only is Shmi happily busy directing her fellow slaves to operation centers and has no intention of stopping by leaving the planet ("Mum, don't you always say the true tragedy in the galaxy is that nobody helps each other?" Yeah, that woman is SO organizing the resistance against the Hutts.)
While the Jedi aren't really allowed to help because of politics, a good deal of them (the chaotic good alignment faction, i.e. Quinlan Vos & Company) help whenever they can, brokering peace with the original natives (Tuskens and Jawas) to facilitate escape through the desert and prepare an interim government for the inevitable slave/native revolt against the hutts. The council turns a blind eye to this, because a) they know it's the right thing to do and b) the lightsaber permit headache.
It's up to you which faction Obi-Wan belongs to.
The Techno Union is extremely unhappy about their monopoly on, well, technology being broken. This leads to some more legal battles that ... idk, I didn’t think this through, but they lose. Badly, and this proceeds to drag the Banking Clan and Trade Federation down with them as further investigations are opened.
Padmé delightedly pounces on the opportunity to drag all of them down and get revenge on Nute Gunray; she and Anakin make a magnificent team by combining political/legal and technical/market expertise into hell of a headache for the people who would otherwise fund the Separatists. There may or may not be a passionate kiss over some legal evidence and spare parts.
Sidious, who had so far been trying to push all the pieces into position he will need for the Clone Wars while keeping Anakin friendly to him and slowly building public support, now has his hands full juggling a) the lightsaber construction legislature investigation from the Jedi, of which they keep him duly informed (stressful), b) Anakin hyperfixating on mechanics so badly he hardly has time to spiral, never mind build up resentment against the Jedi, c) the Techno Union, the Banking Clans and the Trade Federation slowly crumbling under the combined weight of Skywalker being stubborn, Amidala campaigning and R2 slicing some pretty damning evidence, taking the financial backing for the droid army with them; d) what do you mean, the attempt on Shmi Skywalker's life was thwarted by a random Jedi "passing through" and several hundred newly freed slaves?? Since when did the Outer Rim start getting democratic??, e) with the slow, but steady dismantling of the three most powerful enterprises in the Republic, the main reasons for secession (Republic inefficiency, corruption, and corporate greed using monopolies to choke smaller planets into financial ruin and dependency) slowly falling away, the reasons for a war also fade into nothingness and the Republic returns to functionality.
By that time, the Jedi Shadows, led by Mace Windu (who traced the lightsaber construction thing) and the Jedi Slave Freeers (who traced the attempt on Shmi's life) meet up in front of the chancellor's office like the spidermen meme, down to kill a chancellor for completely different but both very valid reasons.
Upon opening the door, they find Padmé Amidala with a Ysalamiri lizard and a blaster. The unexploded (because Force-blocked) body of the Chancellor is lying in front of her, three smoking holes in his chest (he tried to blackmail her into leaving the Techno Union alone by way of her affair with Anakin (that she, as a Senator from Naboo, is not allowed to have). She brought the lizard without knowing it blocked the Force, but she got it as a gift from Anakin, who told her it would keep her safe if ...).
Mace Windu deactivates his lightsaber and tells Padmé with a straight face to drop the gun. There might be fingerprints on it that could lead to the culprit.

Hiii!!!!! Could I request an Ezra Bridger x fem! reader where y/n is totally oblivious to Ezra liking her and when Ezra finally confesses y/n is like: I didn't even notice! Thank you!!!!!
Awww! 😁💞😆
Tumblr media
He’s so smitten it’s endearing and simultaneously annoying
Just about everybody knows and always looks when you two talk because they’re always thinking “is this it? Are they getting together?”
It’s a meeting all too familiar
He thinks you’re cute, you’re sweet, you’ve got a bit of a stubborn but shy side to you, you’re nice to him and he’s quick to bond with you
Even when he encountered Maul, Ezra still went to you for advice first on what he should do
Hera and Sabine try to offer the more romantic advice for Ezra to woo you
Kanan and Zeb of course encourage a few of the more bold options, just something to catch your attention
Of course these shenanigans go wrong (obviously!) and you’re left to look after whatever disaster Ezra got into, always fretting over him
Chopper just takes matter into his own hands and conveniently asks you and Ezra to “help” him with one his wheels or something else
Soon you two are quick to forget the robot when he (slyly) skirts away to let you two talk
Ezra finally gets a chance to tell you how he really feels and while it takes a while for you to process your emotions, you don’t deny you’ve felt something for the young man too
Now the crew starts to see you all the time both holding hands after he confesses to you

was talking about this with friends but i also think having a good sense of when a story is headed in a direction you don't like is important for three reasons:
It helps you practice critical thinking skills / viewing something from a more objective and perhaps realistic lens. I have shows / stuff where even though I thought a story/plot decision or ship was a bad idea and it wasn't my preference, and even when I thought another story decision might make more sense, I was still able to recognize that "hey, this story is most likely going to go in this direction because of xyz" / setup and framing
This also means you can have an easier time leaving and/or getting out of a story when it begins to disappoint you / it can help build realistic expectations regarding the material in order for you to have a better time if you do stay.
And most importantly, perhaps, it just makes it all the more rewarding and exciting when you recognize a story is going in same the direction that you've hoped it would, because that is chef's kiss lemme tell you

Okay, you know what? Rebels looks fine. No, not every character design works, and yes, the designs are stylistically different than The Clone Wars. When the character designs work, they work very well, prop design is consistently good, and the sets are great. There are some stunning landscapes in this show.
And the animation? If we’re talking about the way the characters move, specifically, the animation is all right from the start, very good from Twilight of the Apprentice onward, and just gets better from there. There are some incredibly well acted (animated) shots in Rebels. Yeah, I know, Smooth Yoda looks weird and Hondo’s design did not translate well. Overall, though? This isn’t an ugly show by any stretch. It’s just different.
