Smut Warnings under the cut!
Smut Warnings: masturbation (f), finger sucking, fingering, dirty talk
In your many years on this planet most of these have been spent being best friends with Lee Seokmin.
At this point you probably knew him better than he knew himself and vice versa. There was nothing the two of you didn’t share, sometimes being mistaken for a couple when in reality all you feel for each other is nothing but platonic admiration. You love each other, but platonically! You sleep in each other's arms most nights, but platonically! Sometimes you wish he would hold you a little tighter and sometimes he wishes he could touch you in places he shouldn’t, but it is all, of course, platonically!
In fact, your relationship is so platonic that you are currently holding your beloved vibrator to your throbbing clit staring at a picture of his hands. His beautiful hands, his long fingers graced by rings you had gifted him because, fuck, did you love seeing him with jewellery you had given him. Especially rings.
The high you’re craving as much as you feel guilty is nearing and you arch your back, hips chasing the feeling of the vibrations on your bundle of nerves - and when the thought of Seokmin above you with his fingers fucking you open, rings on and all, occupies your mind once more, not leaving any space for a guilty conscience, you finally come undone. You sigh his name over and over, riding out your orgasm and once your vibrator is off and your panties are back in place, you slowly start to realize what you’ve just done. Again. How many times have you told yourself you wouldn’t do this again? How many times have you sworn that Seokmin was your best friend and nothing else?
Best friends don’t think about the other when they get off. Best friends don’t crave the other’s touch when they aren’t around. Best friends don’t want to get finger-fucked by the other!
Maybe, you think, you aren’t Seokmin’s best friend after all because all of these points apply to you. With a groan you lock your phone and swing your legs off the bed, still feeling a bit dizzy from your orgasm. Just when you are about to head to the bathroom, you hear knocks on your front door.
Frowning, you look at the clock hanging on the wall across from you. It’s one o’clock in the morning, who would ever- another knock. More vehemently this time. You blink a few times, not even registering that you’re wearing nothing but one of Seokmin’s shirts and your panties when you open the door.
Glossy brown eyes look at you, reddened cheeks and lips on the face you think about more than you should.
“Seokmin?!”
“You’re- you’re wearing my shirt.”
He is inside your apartment with the door closed behind you in mere seconds. His hands somehow landed on your waist and you are now stuck between him and the cold wall, your eyes big and round looking up at him.
“What are you doing here, what- what’s going on?”
“I kissed someone,” he breathes and you hate that the words make your heart drop, “I kissed this girl when I was at a club with Mingyu and- fuck, I kissed her and I somehow realized that I don’t want to kiss her.”
“Okay, that’s okay, Seok. You stopped kissing her then, right?”
When he shakes his head, you feel another pang of pain inside your chest.
“I kissed her some more, she asked me to go home with her and I was already on my way out, ready to get into the cab and let her take me to her place, but…”
The way he looks at you, the way his fingers dig into your skin. He doesn’t say it, and you don’t want to ask.
“You’re drunk.” You somehow stumble out, freeing yourself from his grasp and instead walking over to the kitchen, to get your best friend some water.
“I didn’t even drink that much.” You hear the pout before you see it, turning around to face him, your eyes settling on his body leaning against the doorframe.
“You should still drink some water, Seok, alright?”
He doesn’t try to stop you when you hand him the glass and he even takes two big sips before putting it down.
“Why didn’t you call before you came here?” You ask then, leaning against the kitchen counter.
“Phone’s dead.” He explains and you sigh, pulling a hand over your face.
“So, you didn’t tell Soonyoung you’re not coming home tonight?”
“I-,” Seokmin starts but then realizes he, in fact, hadn't told his roommate he was going to be gone for the night.
“Lee Seokmin,” you shake your head at him, “get my phone from my room and text him, I bet he’s dying of worry right now. You know how he is.”
As much as Seokmin wishes it wasn’t true - it is. Soonyoung his (other) best friend and roommate is overbearing as much as he is kind. Pouting once more, he turns around to walk into your bedroom, seeing your phone laying on top of your bed. For a split second he feels guilty - had he woken you up? Gnawing on his bottom lip, he rids himself of his coat and hangs it over your desk chair, also taking off his shoes in the process and putting them next to yours by the closet, before finally grabbing your phone and unlocking it with the code he just so happens to know.
He stops in his steps. Stares at the screen. Then, he blinks a few times and feels his body react right away. Electricity shoots through him and explanations as of why he is seeing what he’s seeing, explanations that have his stomach flip and his heart triple in speed, that have his imagination go wilder than he’d usually allow himself around you.
“Y/N.”
“Did you not find it? You call back from the kitchen, getting out a pot to make some late night ramen, only to turn around and look at him and feel your face fall. He is holding your phone up for you to see the screen, his zoomed in hands still on your display. Fuck.
Coming up with an explanation as of why the fuck his hands are on your screen at almost 2 o’clock in the morning leaves your brain blank. There is only so much you can say that isn’t totally weird - and even then, it still is.
But something about the way Seokmin is looking at you isn’t even allowing you to open your mouth and stutter out a lame excuse.
“I want you to be honest with me,” he begins calmly, slowly walking over to you now, “why are my hands zoomed in on your phone screen in the middle of the night, darling?”
The pet name bolts through you and leaves your brain even more blank. Suddenly, you don’t know how to speak, how to think. Yet, Seokmin seems to know that he caught you in something he didn’t even know it was possible to find you in.
“Y/N, be honest,” he repeats when he is back in front of you, when you’re caged in between him and the kitchen counter, when all that’s between you is the little space he has left, “do you have a thing for my hands?”
Shit. He’s so close now, your phone discarded on the counter next to you and you still don’t remember how to speak. It’s stupid, you know it is, he’s probably just teasing you, just trying to get a reaction out of you before he laughs it off.
Just that he doesn’t.
Seokmin doesn’t move, instead he comes closer, one of his insanely pretty hands softly grabbing your chin, turning your head to make you look straight up at him. God, his eyes are sparkling. Everything about him seems to be sparkling.
“Answer me, love.”
You wish you could, really. But your mouth is dry and your body is burning and all you can focus on is the hand on your face. So, instead of verbally answering you, very slowly, nod. The smug smile that spreads on Seokmin’s face is something no one could have prepared you for.
“Interesting. Let’s see.” He moves his hand up just slightly, thumb brushing against your lips and you can’t help but drop open your mouth, sucking it right into your wet heat. The moan that escapes him catches both of you by surprise and has you pressing your thighs together. Seokmin doesn’t speak, he just looks at you, letting you suck in his thumb with wide eyes that have his cock twitching wildly in his pants.
He begins thrusting his thumb into your mouth, saliva building up and beginning to trickle down out of the corners of your lips, his eyes glued on your face. When you begin to swirl your tongue around him, he breathes out a strained sigh, quickly replacing his thumb with is middle and index finger.
Now it’s you who’s moaning. How many nights had you stayed awake with your fingers inside your cunt, with your vibrator against your clit, with you humping your pillow, imagining exactly this. Sucking on his finger’s as he fucked you senseless with either his other hand or his cock.
“Fuck, baby, you really do have a thing for my hands,” he mutters, perhaps even more to himself than you and he instructs you to suck on them, his free hand sneaking around you, pressing you against him flat on your ass.
Nothing has ever been as much of a turn on as this. Seokmin’s fingers in your mouth, his other hand squeezing your ass as he is very obviously rubbing himself against you, his erection visible through his pants and hard to miss against your lower stomach. He doesn’t speak for a while, just enjoying the feeling of having all the power over you, something he had never thought possible, bathing in the knowledge you want him just as much as he wants you.
When he deems it enough, he pulls his fingers out, thick saliva connecting them to your red lips and he groans at the sight, quickly bringing the fingers down and straight to where you need them the most. He doesn’t wait, doesn’t tease, instead he slips his hand into your folds and feels them, coating the two fingers he just pulled out of your mouth in your juices, reveling in your small noises.
“Want them inside of you, don’t you, baby girl? Want me to fuck you with them?”
It’s merely a whisper coming out of his mouth and you whimper, nodding your head yes once more, Seokmin chuckling as he leans forward, his breath hitting your face.
“Need you to use your words, okay?” He says, lips touching your cheek and you swallow hard, hips bucking to meet his fingers.
“I-,” you stutter, “I, f-fuck, Seokmin, please-,”
“Please what, darling?”
“Pl-please p-put them i-inside,” you cry out, your hands gripping the material of his shirt, eyes begging him to do as you asked.
“God, you’re so desperate, might just make me cum in my pants. Gonna fuck your pretty pussy with my hands while you’re wearing my shirt, fuck,” his voice is breathy against your ear and you’re just about to beg him again, when he finally does what you’ve been dreaming about for years.
The second he breaches your hole, you already feel like the gates of heaven just opened up for you. His fingers are like the drug you knew you’d get addicted to once you’ve got a taste of them and the second they are fully inside you, you fear nothing will ever come close again. Your body reacts by shaking uncontrollably, your pussy sucking him in as far as possible, Seokmin’s moans in your ear the sweetest sounds you’ve ever heard. As his fingers begin to thrust inside of you, his lips begin to kiss your neck, up to your cheek and finally your lips, both of you sighing in relief when you finally take one step further. Because somehow this is more intimate than his fingers fucking you.
This could have easily been mistaken as a tipsy Seokmin helping his best friend blowing off steam by finally giving into her desire for him, but the second he kisses you both of you know this is going to be so much more.
Your arms move to wrap around his neck as you spread your legs further for him, giving him better access and more room to move his hand as he continues his thrusts, your whimpers against his lips skilfully getting caught by his tongue.
“So fucking wet and tight, such a good girl for me, aren’t you?” He mumbles against your mouth and you nod, pulling him closer, lips back on his to begin yet another heated kiss. The two of you make out, one of your legs around his waist as he picks up his speed, thumb finding your clit no problem, causing you to arch your back and pant into the kiss.
“Seok- so- so close!” You cry out and he chuckles again, kissing down your neck, sucking harshly on your skin as he pulls his fingers out only to come back with one more.
Three fingers fuck you open for more, your moans getting louder, fingers digging into his nape as you chase his fingers with your hips, tears behind your eyes threatening to spill because of how fucking turned on you were. You’re dripping down his fingers, down your thighs, your panties shoved to the side by him, probably cutting into his fingers, but he doesn’t seem to care.
“Yeah? Are you gonna cum for me, baby? Cum on my fingers? How long have you wanted this, hm? How long have you dreamt of my fingers fucking you until you make them drip in your cum?”
His dirty words are so out of character for your usually so bright and sweet best friend, but they do their job perfectly. Accompanying your whines is your pussy clenching around him repeatedly, throbbing against his fingers and Seokmin really thinks he could shoot his load just from this.
“Faster, pl-please!” Your hips are moving at rapid speed and Seokmin meets your efforts, thumb pressing down on your clit and letting his fingers quickly pump in and out of your perfect pussy, already feeling your nearing climax around him.
When he kisses you again, his tongue finding yours, circling it skilfully and sucking it into his mouth, you feel your orgasm rush over you, cum soaking his whole hand as he fucks you through it, your moans landing right in his hot mouth.
“That’s it, darling, cum on my fingers, soak them in your cum, show me how good I made you feel, fuck.”
Tears are rolling down your cheeks, tears of pleasure and happiness, tears of desperation as you ride out your orgasm, almost crying more when he pulls his fingers out of you to lick them clean like a starved man. Your head spins at the visual and you let yourself fall against the counter, sure you could probably count the stars floating around your head currently.
“Delicious, so pretty and delicious.” Seokmin hums when his fingers are out of his mouth and he smiles at you like the soft puppy you know he is.
“Seokmin…,” you don’t even know what to say, still in awe and still recovering from the best orgasm you’ve ever had. He shushes you, both of his hands on your waist, pulling you into his chest.
“Later, love. Now, I need you to ride my cock, how does that sound?”
Smiling at him you think that nothing had ever sounded sweeter.

“Are you and momma still friends?” Joshua’s daughter questioned tilting her head to the side, clinging on to his neck as the waves crashed around them. Joshua grinned and pushed back her beach hair. “Of course sweetheart why are you asking?” He wiped her running nose with the back of his hand before splashing a small amount of water in her direction. An annoyed expression forming on her face reminding him of the similar scold you had given him hours ago.
“She put you in time out.” She shrugged and reached to the side of Joshua’s body. Cupping her hands underneath the clear blue water before throwing it in his direction missing his face completely. “That wasn’t very nice sweetheart.” He chuckled. A wave crashed pushing them back slightly causing his hold on her to get tighter.
She pouted and pushed his face away, turning her attention to where you and his mother were sunbathing. “You made momma mad, that wasn’t very nice either.” She argued and pinched his arm, a mannerism she had inherited from you and the only thing that you did that he hated. But no matter how much your pinches hurt, because they did. He couldn’t imagine living his life without your stupid quirk.
“Momma’s not mad anymore though.” Joshua smirked and attacked her cheek with kisses, whines fell out of her mouth. Eyes burned holes in the side of his and he knew you were sending him your infamous glares. The ones that could send him six feet underground, that is if looks could kill and being married to you would’ve sent him underground years ago. He was thankful they couldn’t.
“She said you were in time out for three days.” She held up her hand signaling four with her fingers. Numbers weren’t her forte. You and Joshua had tried everything to get her to understand that three and four were two completely different numbers but she was at an age where listening wasn’t something she liked to do. The two of you figured she’d eventually figure it on her own, though sometimes Joshua suspected she was doing it on purpose. Her teasing attitude was another thing she had inherited from you making Joshua’s list longer by the second. “One less finger bubs.” He brought his hand out and pushed down her pinky to form three with her small fingers. A smirk appeared on her face as she raised it again only proving Joshua’s suspicions.
“Okay love, but momma isn’t mad at me anymore.” He stated confidently meeting your eyes only to have you send him the middle finger making his mother laugh beside you. He silently cursed but thanked god that your daughter wasn’t looking because the questions would’ve been endless. And he had barely survived the where do babies come from interrogation last week.
He knew you were still mad at him. You were fuming to the point that you were giving the summer sun a run for its money. But he had a plan, one he was sure would have you forgiving him in seconds. Only problem was the little demon in his arms innocently playing with the water surrounding the two of them--hated sleeping in her own bed. And he couldn’t ask his mother to look after her tonight because she had taken your side in the stupid fight.
In conclusion he was in a bit of a pickle.
Tumblr media
Half an hour, that’s how long it took him to put his daughter to bed. She had requested a bedtime story, Joshua over the moon had no problem in reading one to her. But then when he was done she had requested another one and this time he had to act out every single character while she judged his performance. This had gone on for half an hour until finally her breathing got steady and she was fast asleep. How the beach hadn’t tired her out was a mystery he would eventually solve one day.
Joshua carefully turned off the lights and placed her favorite stuffed animals around her, so that when she woke up she would be met with a familiar set of faces. He tiptoed out of the room and turned off the lights. Taking a quick glance around the room, making sure nothing was out of place and that her night lights were on before carefully closing the door. His body cringed at the sound of squeaking hinges and he swore he had stopped breathing while he stood there in the dark hallway, motionless. His ears perked up to see if he could hear any sound of movement from the other side of the door and once he was sure his daughter was still fast asleep he quietly made his way to your shared bedroom.
“She’s asleep, let’s hope she doesn’t end up in our bed tonight.” Joshua walked over to where you were standing in front of your small vanity that also doubled up as a dresser. “We wouldn’t be trying to break this habit if you hadn’t insisted on her sleeping with us for the last few months.” Joshua let out an inaudible groan knowing very well he was the one at fault. “How am I supposed to say no when she asks with that sweet innocent voice and then gives me the look?” He eyed you through the mirror before wrapping his arms around your waist. His chin resting against your shoulder while you applied your eye cream gently. “It’s like she knows my weaknesses and then uses it against me.”
“It’s not that hard to break you Joshua.” You met his stare through the mirror, a knowing smirk forming against your lips. You sent him a wink before grabbing your cherry flavored chapstick and slowly applied it on your lips. The action sending shivers up his spine, his mind racing as he imagined your lips on his. The thought of the bitter sweetness of the cherry flavor hitting his taste buds made his mouth water. But alas you were still mad at him and his plan hadn’t gone in full effect yet. Patience is what he needed.
“Are you still mad at me?” He pouted slightly making you shake your head in annoyance. You huffed at his obvious question and removed his arms from your waist, pushing him away gently before making your way to your side of the bed. “I already apologized, what more do you want me to do?” He threw his hands in the air before letting them fall to his sides in defeat.
“You lost my necklace the one you gave me when our daughter was born, sorry’s not gonna bring it back.” You took off the many throw pillows that decorated the bed and threw them on the floor. Usually you would put them on the lounge chair by the window but tonight you couldn’t be bothered.
“I already told you I’d buy you a new one.” He groaned and walked over to his side of the bed peeling back the covers, stopping when he saw the tears start to roll down your face, his plan long forgotten.
Lately your mood swings were giving him a hard time and although he suspected why, he wasn’t sure if he should bring it up when the thought hadn’t even crossed your own mind. At least that’s what he concluded when you hadn’t brought it up. “It’s not the same Joshua, I know it’s stupid to hold such sentimental value over something so miniscule but it meant a lot to me and you lost it.” Joshua sighed letting the sheets go and crawled on top of the bed, kneeling in front of you and bringing his hands up to your face.
“Baby I swear I thought I had put it in the pocket of my coat when you gave it to me.” He wiped away your tears gently and placed a kiss on your forehead. “It was there when we left the reception. I even called Minghao to see if the venue had contacted him but he didn’t pick up.”
“Of course he’s not going to pick up, he's on his honeymoon, Joshua.” You sniffed and blinked rapidly trying to keep the tears at bay. “My point still stands, I’ve looked everywhere for it.” He sighed and wrapped an arm around your waist as he brought you close. Your knees hit the edge of the bed making them buckle, your body landing on top of Joshua’s as he laid the two of you down gently.
“Did you check your car?” You raised an eyebrow locking your eyes with his tender ones. His eyes grew wide and faint blush creeped on his cheeks as he recalled the very inappropriate events that went down in the passenger seat on your way home from the reception. “N-No the thought didn’t even cross my mind.” He cleared his throat, your face breaking into a smile as you removed yourself from his embrace and laid back, letting your body sink into the softness of your bed.
“I knew you hadn’t checked everywhere.” You placed your arms underneath your head watching the ceiling fan. He was chewing the bottom lip as the realization finally washed over him a very annoyed groan fell out of his lips as he dropped his head. “When did you find it?”
You laughed and moved so your body was now facing his defeated one. “Right after we dropped off your mother at her house. It was peeking out from underneath the back seat as I was putting bubs in her car seat.” You placed a hand underneath his chin and raised it. “This a new form of torture. I’ve been suffering all day today.” Joshua whined snaking his arm around your waist and pulled himself up so his chest was against yours. “I deserve an apology?” He pouted before pecking your lips.
“I’ll think about it, right now I’m exhausted.” You grinned and pushed your hand through his dark locks leaning up and kissing his nose. “I want to keep talking to you. You barely said a word to me all day and watched me suffer. I’m in a drought come and save me.” He finished and cuddled himself further into your body, his head on your chest. You giggled scratching his scalp, small satisfied sighs escaping his lips.
When you and Joshua first met on a disastrous blind date set up by your mutual friends where he accidentally spilled wine all over your new white dress, marriage was definitely not in the cards. But nothing is ever set in stone and you should’ve known his charm would win you over when he walked you home that night. Silence raining over the two of you except for the sweet apologies he would spew out every few minutes, thus beginning your loving journey together.
“What are you thinking about?” Joshua whispered drumming his fingers down the side of your body before resting them on top of your stomach. “How dramatic you are.” You joked wrapping your arms around his neck. He hummed and cuddled himself further into your body placing a gentle peck against the skin of your collarbone. “I think you might’ve rubbed off on me then.”
You giggled feeling his hand rub soothing circles against your stomach. A smile played against his lips and you wondered if he knew the secret you had been carrying for the past two weeks. It had started out as a suspicion when the food at Minghao’s wedding had made you sick. Then your emotions started getting the best of you, snapping and crying over everything and anything. When his mother came over to visit and noticed your weird cravings she had made you take a test while Joshua ran to the grocery for some parsley his mother had asked for. He didn’t question it. He had no reason to since his mother had insisted on cooking dinner for the four of you that night. But when he noticed the parsley had been left untouched in the fridge his suspicions started to grow.
He had been oddly observant lately, doing everything with caution, putting your daughter to bed every night a task you usually did and no problem in doing. Acting out all the characters in the story for your daughter was one of your favorite past times. He had insisted that you needed to rest, claiming he didn’t want you to stress out too much and just relax. So you expected he knew and was just waiting for you to tell him so he could finally celebrate. You had to admit it was fun seeing Joshua walk around as if he were avoiding the cracks on the sidewalk and the unsolicited back massages were to die for but you couldn’t keep living like you didn’t know he already knew. As clueless as he had acted, he hadn’t done a very good job at it. And After your secret doctor’s visit yesterday confirming what you had already known, you had been dying to tell him.
“Cut the shit Joshua, when did you find out?” You looked down at him as he smiled widely causing you to roll your eyes. His insides bubbling up with joy as he laid back facing the popcorn ceiling. “You aren’t very good at hiding things. I found the test a week ago when I opened your bathroom drawer looking for the tiny rubber bands to finish our bub’s hair.” He turned his face sending you a playful wink. You groaned running a hand through your face, finally realizing that your plan of total secrecy was a total bust.
“And our daughter can’t keep secrets no matter how many green gummy bears you give her before dinner.”
“I knew it was a little weird when she asked for just green gummy bears. She’s never liked them.” You nodded and grabbed Joshua’s hand. You brought it up to your lips and kissed each of his knuckles gently before resting on the side of your neck, scooting yourself closer to his warm body. “But I do, really honey you should’ve known better.” He smiled and pinched your cheek gently before leaning down and capturing your lips with his. He kissed you slowly at first, the kiss getting deeper by the second as he rolled you onto your back and carefully straddled your hips.
Joshua smirked the taste of your cherry chapstick hitting his tongue making his mind run wild. Slowly he pulled away and kissed down your neck, making his way down your clothed body not caring that small pieces of lint were getting stuck on his plump lips. He rolled your shirt up and sent you a wink before peppering kissing over your soon to be growing belly. Excitement was an understatement and he couldn’t wait to show you how much he truly loved you making a mental note to shower you with more love than usual. His plan finally going into action as he heard your soft sighs escape your lungs.
“Mommy is daddy out of time out?” The two of you panicked and you pushed Joshua off your body making him fall off the bed landing on the hardwood floor with a painful groan. Your daughter laughed hard at her father’s pain while she climbed up on the bed before sitting down next to you. “He’s on probation, baby.” You stuck out your tongue at Joshua who was looking at you rubbing his lower back. “And when were you going to tell me he knew about baby bean?” You raised an eyebrow at her. Her eyes grew wide with realization and launched herself at you hugging you tightly.. “I’m sorry momma, daddy said he’d take me to see uncle Hannie if I didn’t say anything.” She sent her father an evil look and he knew he had lost this argument just like all the other ones.
“It’s okay baby.” You kissed her temple and pulled away taking her pouting face in your hands making your heart clench. “I can’t believe you Joshua bribing our daughter into secrecy.” You scoffed. Joshua looked at the ceiling wondering what decision in life he had made that lead him up to this moment where his favorite girls were ganging up on him again.
“That’s not fair you did the same thing?” He stood up and sent you an accusatory finger making you gasp out in shock. Your daughter copying your mannerisms. “I did no such thing right baby?” You looked down at your daughter who had taken it upon herself to get under the sheets and cuddle up to your side. “That’s right momma’s innocent.”
“I should’ve known the odds were forever going to be against me when I met you.”
“It’s what you signed up for.”
“Yeah and I wouldn’t change it for the world no matter how many times the two of you gang up on me.” He smiled and stood up before quickly jogging over to his side of the bed and laying down. He wrapped an around you and your daughter bringing the two of you close humming happily. Your daughter squirming as she tried her best to let herself lose which only made Joshua’s arm grow tighter.
“But make no mistake one day I will get my revenge.” He sent you a wink before reaching over and pecking your lips lightly and then your daughter’s forehead and laid back. “Baby bean is gonna be on my side and I can’t wait.”
“Don’t get too confident, I don't want you to end up disappointed.”

Ocean of Thoughts
Tumblr media
bf!Jihoon x gender neutral reader
Words: ~600 words
Summary: When you feel as though your emotions are but an ocean that you can’t help but drown in, Jihoon is there for you.
Warnings: pretty sad, depressing thoughts
A/N: uhhh so enjoy this lil blurb if you want some comfort. It’s kinda sad though so I don’t blame people for not wanting to read it. But, for those of you who read it, I hope you enjoy and that you also have someone in your life that gives you hope.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Your fingers gripped tighter around the black t-shirt Jihoon had on, hoping that if he stayed there even a second longer, maybe these thoughts would finally disappear.
You weren’t disappointed when they remained, however you wished they never appeared in the first place.
Now that Jihoon had pulled away from your grip, your hands were back to shaking, as they tend to do when you’re this deep in thought. Despite the fact that your body felt weak and you knew you needed sleep, the tears were a continuous stream down your face. A silent way that showed Jihoon his comfort didn’t help nearly as much as either of you anticipated it would.
“I’m sorry,” you muttered under your breathe. You knew that he felt terrible when he couldn’t make you feel better, when you were too deep in your thoughts to be pulled out by even your boyfriend.
In reality, he hated it more when you apologized for feeling this way. He understood where you were coming from, how it feels to be so deep inside yourself that it feels like every breath you take is another one full of water.
So he sat there, on the ground in your bedroom with you, muttering words of encouragement and stroking your back.
He has intended to be back in the studio working on some new music about 30 minutes ago, but there was no way he would ever leave you in a state like this all by yourself.
He knew that you would feel worse about him staying here to be with you, blaming yourself that he wouldn’t be as far as he wants to in the song. But he also knew that even in your darkest moments, you wouldn’t ask him to stay. Because even when you needed someone the most, it hurt too much for you to bother someone for help.
And he was right about all of that. You remained curled up in a ball right next to Jihoon, your head buried in your knees as your shoulders silently shook. His hand was gentle as it made its way from between your shoulders down to the small of your back and back up again.
It felt as though a dam had broken inside you. When Jihoon asked you earlier in the day if you were okay because you were quieter than usual, it was like a flip of a switch. The last crack in the wall before the tears began to flow heavily down your face as you slowly shook your head.
For the following hour he held you as your sobs echoed in the quiet room. Occasional hushes could be heard from Jihoon.
You tried to mend the dam inside you and stop your crying shortly into the breakdown, but for some reason Jihoon had always had a way to keep it from being built back up.
You wondered when you would stop feeling this way, if ever. When you would stop feeling like a hindrance to everyone around you. Like everything you did only upset people more no matter the intention of your actions.
But for now, you sat on the floor of your bedroom crying silently, Jihoon there by your side to comfort you.
Despite all the ugly thoughts and feelings inside of you, you felt the smallest bit of warmth at the actions of your boyfriend. Even though you’re drowning in your own thoughts, at least he was here to pull you out of the water once the waves stopped throwing you back under.
♡ Hoshi
Okay, so Hoshi is a switch, but mostly a dom. I’m just gonna get this out of the way but Since he’s a main dancer, we all know he’s got a strip tease kink. The man love’s a good strip tease / lap dance (giving / receiving). He prefers his partner to give him a good show. He loves watching his / her body move and sway. Hoshi is also into thigh riding (receiving), which is goes hand-in-hand with the lap dance. He’s got a marking kink for sure, leaving dark love bites all over his partners body. I think he’s into temperature play too (giving), specifically ice play. He enjoys trailing up his partners body with an ice cube in his mouth. i should go to church
Wake up
Type: Angst, a bit of Fluff
{Minghao wakes up after a “acquaintances with benefits” encounter with you}
Minghao POV
Something was warming my skin. Not like the warmth, I felt of you last night but rather the heat of the sun. My eyes felt heavy but I forced them open. My vision, clouded, but a few blinks fixed that.
I was staring at the morning sun through the window, I should be admiring this beautiful view but my mind kept traveling back to last night. Remembering every moment of ecstasy and pleasure, I almost feel guilty.
Guilty for not getting to know you, for us not getting closer beforehand, for not knowing you. But I couldn’t change that now could I?
I turned my back to the sun, my back now feeling the warmth my face felt moments ago.
Now I was facing you and I didn’t care that we were nude, I didn’t feel any compulsion of wanting to relive yesterday like I did as I replayed it before I turned to you.
Instead, my eyes traced your face, trying to ingrain the memory of every detail of your face into my mind. You weren’t super-model gorgeous, no instead a piece of art and art isn’t always supposed to look beautiful it’s supposed to make you feel something, you made me feel something.
I memorized every wrinkle, acne scar, and pimple. I memorized the way strands of your hair would fall every time you snored. I never considered myself as someone who would fall so quickly in love, I don’t even know if this is “love”.
I placed my hand on your waist underneath the blanket and moved closer to you. I pulled my other hand from underneath me and began tracing the features of your face, lightly so I don’t wake you up.
From your eyes to your nose to your lips-
I suddenly felt the warmth of the sun again on my face. I held my eyes shut closely hoping it wasn’t as I thought, but sure enough, it was. I desperately tried to fall back asleep and continue that beautiful dream of you.
But no, the dream was over.
You weren’t by my side, I wasn’t tracing your face, my hand wasn't on your waist. Instead, I turned around to my bed empty and my clothes on the floor, and you not in sight. The scent of your perfume still lightly embedded in my furniture.
I heard the door close and I pushed myself to get up even if my body wanted to rest still. I hurried and put on my underwear and shirt, hoping I could catch you before the elevator door closed.
I ran like hell to try and catch you, almost tripping on my neighbor's package they failed to pick up yesterday afternoon. Just as I got down to the end of the hall the elevator doors were already 3/4 of the way closed but you saw me still and I hoped you would push the button to reopen the door but you didn’t.
I walked back to my apartment in defeat, mentally hitting myself for not getting your number or not waking up earlier. I sat on my couch ignoring my empty stomach that growled at me, only thinking of you. Just as I was going to try and go back to sleep and dream of you there was a knock on my door.
I didn’t bother checking the monitor to see who it was, not caring anyways because you were already gone. I opened the door with my head hung low not wanting to see anyone right now.
“I think I can stay longer... I didn’t think I’d wake you up, sorry.”
My knees went week hearing your voice and I really hoped this wasn’t another dream. That thought was diminished when I looked up and saw you standing there, I fought my every nerve to not hug you.
“No no I’m just glad you came back..”
heir!svt // lee chan
♥  fluffy!!
♥ 3.1k words
♥ summary: you hated chan’s guts for having the skills with ease while you spent every ounce of your blood, sweat and tears to get to where you were now. but chan thinks you’re pretty cute despite your harsh words and he only has one way to get your attention : to annoy you
heir chan, the charming boy of his class who has 12 other older brothers to look after him in the school
everyone knows his parents as the ultimate dancing duo with the insanely popular dancing academy who sometimes come to the school to give lessons!!
and chan takes so much pride in that because thats where he got his love for dancing in the first place - from his parents!!
sometimes people like to call him mini jackson because of how he tries to incorporate the iconic moves of micheal jackson but change it here and there to put his own element into it
although he tries to come up with his own stage name aka dino because he wants to be known as himself
and he always amazes the crowd, whether it would be contemporary, hip hop or tap dancing
no one comes out of his performance with an uninterested look
besides, not only is his skilled with dance moves but he’s pretty handsome himself
he’s got that cheeky boyish looks that girls would swoon over
which sometimes make jeonghan really proud because he claims chan is popular with the girls because he brought him up like that
but thats just chan being himself and minding his own business because he was born like that
and even though his main focus is on dancing, he doesnt neglect his own studies and tries to do the best that he can to make his parents proud and be a good role model to his younger siblings
he’s just a really wholesome boy that everyone loves at first sight
but he’s not really wholesome when he hits the stage which makes seungcheol a little disappointed even though most of his cheekiness is because of him
smh seungcheol and jeonghan are really bad at parenting
and whenever they go a little overboard with their love and chan has to literally pluck each finger off of him, he knows they genuinely mean it
i love a big family of 13 boys ok let me c r y
its not at all surprising that chan is popular among everyone since he’s really sweet with anyone he meets
he greets the security guard every morning, thanks the vendor lady every time he buys his meal and makes sure he greets his teachers in the hallways
how could anyone not like him
that’s what everyone else would say except you
of course the boy had his manners and you would accept that fact
but the fact that you had to compete with him to be able to compete in the national competition as the school’s representative sucks
dance classes with him is the worst because it always feels like he’s going out of his way to outdo you
or when he has the audacity to smirk your way when he’s done showcasing his own choreo
and it makes your blood boil even more
you really wanted to get this rivalry over and done with so that you could focus on the national competitions that you were hoping of participating in
but chan would never allow that to happen
and it annoys you to the core when he tries to act nice and greet you in the hallways
but you just brush it off with a hum and walked off with your group of friends
and it doesnt only annoy you that chan was cocky and good at what he does
you were absolutely jealous of his supportive parents
the way he would probably be able to practice whenever and wherever he wanted
but you couldnt
you had to do it in secret otherwise your parents would freak out
they think they were doing you any good, by forcing their own dreams onto yours of being the next successor of their insurance company
but money is boring and having to deal with such a large sum was overwhelming
you wanted to dance to the beat and the melody of the music, being able to express your emotions through moves and make it into a masterpiece
you had always find the art of it intriguing but you never had the privilege of entering classes
and yet here chan was, with all the facilities you had ever wanted at his fingertips
it just didnt feel fair for you to work absolutely hard to get to where you were now
and having to compete against someone who would level up more than you could in a day
and that hatred had always been boiling inside of you ever since you found out that The Lee Chan was striving for the same spot as you did
but that didnt mean you were going to give up
in fact, it gave you even more motivation for you to beat him and that damn smirk of his
as much as you could, you would book the dance practice room for at least 4 hours, polishing your skills in every type of dance you had tried - contemporary, hip hop, tap dancing, and whatnot
most of them you had either learnt it by sneaking off to classes or learning them through videos
either way, you werent going to back down from a kid who probably had professional help throughout his life
but the heavens had other plans for you
just as you were about to enter the practice room you had been using for the past month, you could feel the vibrations and the sound system booming throughout the hallway, faint sounds of foot steps tapping along to the beat
you had never bumped into someone else who needed to use the practice room before, so who else could it be??
to your dismay, you opened the door to see none other than your rival, sweating it out on the dance floor
and just when you were about to leave the room as quickly as you could, chan calls out to you with that sickeningly sweet smile, panting as he took a sip of his water bottle
“were you going to use the room?” he questioned, taking another big gulp this time
you were so tempted to say it to his face to say ‘ no shit sherlock, why else would I be here?’
but a part of you refrains you from doing so and instead you nodded your head in reply
“dont let me interrupt you,” you nonchalantly stated, walking out of the room until chan holds the door open
“hey, dont be a stranger. its not like we’re enemies,“ but that little tug at one end of his smile tells you otherwise
and a soft scoff left your lips before you knew it
"really, i have better places to be at anyway,” you roll your eyes, tightening your grip around your bagpack and walking out the room
one of these days, he’s going to push all your buttons and all your piled up frustration would explode
you stormed out of the school building, annoyed that you wouldnt be able to practice in the best conditions this time
you were left with practicing in your bedroom, while you had to keep your moves limited to your tippy toes
you couldnt risk letting your parents know about what you had been doing for the past few years
and so, the next day you see chan along the hallway and he mentions about the practice room
but you ignore him completely and went to your first class
“you really think that’s cute, chan? don’t you have better things to do?” soonyoung raised a brow, walking in the opposite direction of you while chan’s eyes never left your figure
“they’re cuter when they try to look fierce,”
but you were too far ahead to hear and you were definitely not interested in listening to such a conversation,,, right?
another school day ends, you were chanting with all your might that chan wouldnt be occupying the practice room today as well
besides, why did he have to choose the one that you had always frequented??
was he really trying to get on your nerves??
once you stepped into the room, seeing no one else but you in the reflection, you heaved a sigh of relief while you threw your belongings to the side and got your set up ready
a few minutes into revising your new choreo, the door squeaks open
and your head nearly snaps from the sudden momentum as you stop mid spin
to see none other than chan smiling by the door way
“sorry, i thought someone else was occupying it today,” he smiled, yet he continued to walk into the room as if you had welcomed him in with open arms
“but do you mind if i stay here for a little while? i was supposed to meet my friend but he’s got to do something for the yearbook,”
he casually takes a seat in the corner of the room while you looked back at him in disbelief
“there’s a ton of other places to wait, why here?” you groaned, stopping your song as you placed your hands on your hips
“because you look beautiful when you dance,”
and you’re completely caught off guard, unsure if what chan was spouting was utter nonsense or a genuine compliment
either way, you shook your head from the clouds and turned your face away from his line of sight
the unsettling burning sensation rising on your neck and onto your cheeks was uncalled for
why does chan even have that effect on you?? the mortal enemy you would have stabbed for breathing if it werent for the laws of this land
“,,,whatever. but another word from you and you’re out of here,” you sighed, switching the song back on while you scooted further away from his spot at the other end of the room
he gave you a thumbs up through the reflection of the mirror and when you caught the glimpse of his wide grin, your heart began to pound a little harder
it isnt a big deal right?? maybe it was just from the pressure that your rival would be closely watching your every move??
or was it because that smile on chan’s face has been plastered on ever since he saw you??
no no nO focus on you and only you,, chan is nothing but a speck of annoying dust
but throughout your practice session, your eyes were fidgeting to look back to see chan’s eyes staring back at yours
and every once in a while, you would trip and make a mistake and chan would softly chuckle in his little corner
and after a whole hour of chan watching you, you tripped once more and admitting defeat as you laid on the floor
“it’s not like you to back down from a fight like this,” chan stated, getting up from his spot as he attempted to hold in the laughter bubbling in his throat
“and why are you still even here? why’s your friend taking so long?” you were panting slightly from the non-stop practice or more specifically, the little accidents that came along with it
“i’m not sure either but i’ll help you with your moves if you need to,” he smirked as he stood over you, reaching out towards you with his arm
him helping you out wouldnt be too bad right?? maybe you could take this as an advantage and steal whatever knowledge he would spill
but when chan guides you with his hands, gently placing your arms into place and ever so softly asked “is it okay if i,,you know,, adjusted your hips a bit?? im nOT a pervert i swear. it’s just that it looked awkward during the bridge and-”
“just do what you have to do,” you grumbled, and the heat had risen back up to your cheeks again, colouring them into a slight pink
while chan’s cheeks mimicked yours
after further adjustment and replaying the song with chan’s advice, you had managed to clean up the choreo for half the song in less than an hour
and during that time, chan casually brought out his jokes to lighten up the mood
at first, you tried your best to hold a straight face and yet when chan pulled out a dad joke he had learned from his seniors, you couldnt hold it in and your laughter began to echo throughout the room
“a dad joke was all it took to break that ‘cool’ facade of yours? i should have known better,” he shakes his head in mocking disappointment, earning a half-hearted glare from you
“tell this to anyone and i’ll embarrass you in front of everyone in dance class. we definitely can’t forget your child prodigy days am i right?”
“YN I SWEAR IF YOU LEAK THOSE PHOTOS ILL- ILL,,,, ILL GROSS YOU OUT,”
you burst out laughing once more, this time clenching onto your stomach while a tear threatened to spill
“you’ve been grossing me out ever since we had the same class. Try again, loser,” you scoff, wiping the tear away while you straightened yourself up to finish the rest
“oh,,, really?” he questioned, taking a few steps closer while you were too busy tying up your loosely-tied shoelaces
“duh, i told you-”
before you could stand up and start from the top, chan hoists you up by your waist and stares right back into your eyes
“are you sure we’re talking about the same ‘gross’ here?”
and that damned smirk comes across his face once more
this time, the blush along his cheeks doesnt go unnoticed
and yet you couldnt come up with a better come back, left speechless by his chocolate brown eyes
you were definitely sure you looked like a gaping fish by now
but the door swings open once more, revealing someone you’ve seen once or twice along the school’s hallways
“hey chan- oh,,, oH sorry i’ll let you guys be,” minghao muttered in embarrassment while chan cursed under his breath
“we’ll continue this the same time tomorrow? don’t be late,” chan shoots a smile your way
and without letting you answer his question, he ran off with his belongings to catch up with his friend
you were left in the practice room, breathless and bothered at the fact that your skin now felt chilly from the lack of contact
 ohhh how the tables have turned
day after day, your usual routine began to include chan in it more - seeing him around the hallways and actually acknowledging his greetings
helping him out with homework when he sees you at lunch because ‘soonyoung’ doesnt know the answer either
and ending your day by fooling around with kpop group choreos as a break from dance practice
he’s really good at girl group choreos and you’re pretty jealous he can make it look cuter then you do
or maybe its because you think he looks cute but you’re not that ready to accept it yet
and without fail, chan tries his best to walk you home and is always prepared no matter the weather, having a hoodie in his bag or an umbrella in his hand
he didnt want to spend another day of school without you beside him if you got sick from the rain or the cold weather
time had flown so fast that the decision for your teacher to pick a participant had arrived
a huge part of you still insisted for yourself to get the position, having no other option to show to your parents that you were more than capable in dancing
but after knowing chan, it wouldn’t feel so bad letting him take the place as participant instead
yet the thing that worried you the most is that, was this the end of your budding friendship?
it wasn’t like chan needed to see you anymore once the choice is made and he probably began talking to you just because of it
so was this it?
“yn, you have never given me a score below average and neither have chan. but chan is undeniably more skilled in nearly every genre, so the place goes to him,” your teacher announces the results in the teachers’ office
no doubt you felt disappointed by the results
that you wouldnt be able to showcase your talents and hardwork to others or prove to your parents
but when you look to your side to see chan staring back, guilt in his eyes, you pat his back with reassurance
“what’s with the long face? you look ugly like that,” you chuckled, yet his face remained grim
“but there’s better news for the both of you,” your teacher interrupts, taking a piece of paper out from her folder and passing it to the both of you
“there’s a competition coming up, and it’s not as grand, but i reassure you that this is another good way to learn how to cooperate with one another. the both of you are indeed my best students afterall,”
your eyes scanned the flyer, reading through the rules and regulations while chan did the same
the rules were pretty much the same for every competition but this time, it was a requirement for the participants to be in a group of 2 or more
and chan looks at you with the brightest smile, admiring the sparkles of determination in your eyes lighting back up again
the both of you walk out of the room, spouting every and any idea that came to your mind
and feeling relieved that you actually got a second chance
and while chan was reciprocating your ideas with his, something bigger had been occupying his mind all day
it was now or never
with a swift movement of his wrist, he turns you to face him and hold you by your waist, bringing you so close that you could feel his breath fanning your cheek
“i’ve been waiting too long to say this and i cant hold it back anymore,” he chuckled dryly
and even though his movements seemed confident and brave, you could spot his wavering eyes, his trembling fingers and the light tinge of pink on his cheeks
“i like you, more than just a friend. and maybe i get on your nerves more than 5 times a day, and its silly to say this, but i would rather do that than never be able to talk to you. it would be nice if you became more than just a dance partner-”
but this time, you smirk, taking his hand and holding his waist, dipping him and planting a soft and quick kiss on lips
“you were confident a minute ago, is this how youre really confessing to me?” you chuckle staring back at his wide eyes
and chan wanted to tease you back so bad for making him feel so embarrassed
but not everything would go the way he planned
just as he was about to take the lead, his unstable footing caused the both of you to fall, you falling onto him while he took the impact
“look like i made you fall for me,” even in the midst of groaning in pain, chan winks back at you while you rolled your eyes at his cheesy ways
“a minute into being an actual couple and i’ve already had enough of it,” you sigh, picking yourself up and walking away, causing chan to stumble his way to catch up with you
“not my fault you can’t resist me,” he laughed
finally matching your pace, he placed his arm over your shoulder and placed a quick kiss onto your temple, eliciting giggles from the both of you
i guess all that hatred was to mask the fact that chan looked utterly attractive
and now he will never ever let you live knowing that
a/n: my dods im done with the heir series omfg this was a pain in my brain but im gonna make myself suffer some more and make a different series for another group that ive been preparing oops!! will post the masterlist for the heirs tomorrow so you can read the whole gang :P hope you guys have a good day/night <3
A shower had never felt so good before. You didn’t care that they had someone standing outside the bathroom door in case you tried to make a run for it. You didn’t care that you had to borrow some of Joshua’s clothes and that it was a bit big on you. And you sure as hell didn’t care that it took you so long to shower. If they were going to post someone outside the door, they were just gonna have to stand there and wait for you to finish up. You weren’t going to rush through the one thing that brought you joy just because someone was waiting on you.
You washed your hair twice, using some shampoo that was already in there, thankfully there was a shampoo that didn’t smell to terribly masculine. After you had completely washed up, you just stood there letting the warm water run over you. Definitely one of the calmest moments you’d had since you’d arrived at this dumb house. As most long showers lead too deep thoughts, this was no different. You went through all emotions during that shower.  But by the end you had made up your mind. Rather than sulking around and constantly fighting against everyone, you were going to try and make the best of the situation. Who knows, maybe they’ll grow to trust you and eventually let you go. It couldn’t hurt to try, besides worse comes to worse, you just end up getting sucked into this whole mafia thing, and live out the rest of your life like this. But hey, at least you don’t get killed, right?
You threw on the clothes Joshua had given you and located someone’s brush and quickly brushed your hair. When you pulled open the door, you found someone else standing there. He was very cute looking to say the least, with light brown hair and a round face. He jumped a bit when the bathroom door opened. The two of you stared at each other for a good minute, neither one of you saying anything before the guy finally stepped out of your way so you could get out of the bathroom.
“I’m Seungkwan, I don’t think we’ve officially met.” the boy said.
“Officially, no we haven’t met.” you replied, tying up your wet hair as you spoke. “What were you up to during the raid?”
“Oh…” Seungkwan awkwardly laughed, rubbing the back of his neck, “I was one of the guards.”
“Nice job.” You snorted. Being kidnapped really brought out your sassy side. Watch me get killed because I sass the wrong person. You thought to yourself as you and Seungkwan walked back downstairs.
“Where’s Josh?” you asked.
“He’s doing something for Jeonghan, he should be back in a few minutes or so.” Seungkwan answered.
“So, what’s up with him? How come everyone around he treats him a little differently?” you questioned.
“I’m sure he’ll tell you the reason eventually. Want some lunch? I’m starving.” Seungkwan asked as he headed towards the kitchen. You followed him in, having nowhere else to go. You soon found yourself leaning in one of the corners of the kitchen, watching and Seungkwan rushed about the kitchen, cooking a monstrous meal.
“Do you always cook for everyone?” you asked, folding your arms in front of your chest.
“Not always, everyone here rotates cooking, so some days we get terrible meals and other days we get really good meals.” Seungkwan answered.
“Are your meals the good ones?” your question made Seungkwan chuckle.
  “I’d say they’re about middle ground. Mingyu makes the best meals around here.” just hearing Mingyu’s name made your mood turn sour. You let out a huff and moved to sit at the table. Seungkwan glanced over at you.
“Look, I’m not trying to make anything worse by saying this,” he started, walking over to you as he wiped his hand on a dish towel, “but Mingyu’s really not a bad guy. He told me that he purposely waited for one of your days off to do the raid. He about lost it when he saw you there. He tried really hard to keep it hidden but one of members, Wonwoo, saw him and called him out and that’s how i figured it out. You ran into him in the hallway that day, right? Mingyu was supposed to be heading to the most important part of the whole mission, but when he finally showed up his face was so pale. He looked so worried, and then when he heard some shouting from the front of the store he just turned around a bolted. Later I found out it was because of you. I’ve known Mingyu for around six years now and I’ve never seen him more panicked about anything else before. By trying to save you from getting killed, not only did he put himself in a huge amount of danger, but he’s got the whole rest of the group in danger now. If you get out, or get in contact with anyone else we are all dead. Had any other member been in his possession they probably would have just shot you there.”
What Seungkwan was telling you was putting a whole new spin on things. You felt guilty now. Guilty over a person who had kidnapped you. What was this cruel world. No, it wasn’t a cruel world, it was just proof that you were still a decent human being with emotions and sympathy for others.
“When the boss gets back, both you and Mingyu are going to be in some serious trouble. Technically you haven’t done anything wrong but that’s just how it works. Although, knowing Mingyu he’s going to somehow find a way to get it all brought out on him so you don’t have to deal with it. I just hope he doesn’t get killed because of that.” Seungkwan said, running his hand threw his hair. The atmosphere was too heavy, and you had too many thoughts and emotions spinning around your head. There was a loud hiss and both of you looked over to see a pot on the stove boiling over. Seungkwan quickly stood up and addressed it, leaving you to sit at the table with your thoughts.
He didn’t speak the rest of the time, and there was no sound other than the food cooking. Finally, everything was finished and laid out on a long table in the other room. The only time you’d ever seen a table this long was in the famous painting The Last Supper. Not even that. The table was longer and bigger and sat around fourteen people. There were twelve chairs along the long sides of the table, and a chair at both ends of the table. You assumed no one but the boss sat at the head, leaving the other end chair to always be empty. Why bother even having a chair at that end if no one ever sat in it?
You had just finished setting down the last plate of food when Seungkwan called to the others announcing that lunch was ready. There was a stampede of footsteps, and you realized this would be the first time you’d see everyone together, minus the two that were still out. You moved to a corner of the room and waited for everyone to filter in. Some looked at you, but most ignored you standing there. It was clear that none of them were happy you were there. When Mingyu walked in and saw you, he hesitated for a moment, but soon looked away and sat down at the table. Joshua offered you a small smile, and that was about the only friendly gesture you got.
From the looks of it everyone sat in a specific order. The head of the table sat empty, where you assumed the boss, Seungcheol, usually sat. Then it was Jeonghan and Joshua across from each other, and next to them sat Junhui and someone you hadn’t seen before. You were honestly surprised by how many people you actually knew, it didn’t feel like you had met many people. You could easily pick out Junhui, who wouldn’t be aware of the guy that tried to kill you. And then there was Jihoon, Minghao and Jeonghan, whom you hadn’t officially met but knew of all the same.  And of course, Joshua, Seungkwan and Mingyu. Boss Seungcheol and Hansol were out at the moment, but you wouldn't be able to connect names to faces. This only left four people you didn’t know. You knew that no one was going to bother to introduce themselves, so you didn’t bother to introduce yourself either.
There was a scraping of chairs against the wood floor and soon everyone was sitting in their seats. The two chairs on each end of the table were left empty and the spot next to Seungkwan was empty as well. Seungcheol held the head spot for sure, and you assumed Hansol belonged in the spot next to Seungkwan. There wasn’t an ounce in your body that felt comfortable sitting at the other end of the table, so you just stayed standing in the corner of the room as everyone settled down.
“Why don’t you sit down?” Jeonghan questioned, gesturing towards the chair at the end of the table.” Everyone froze. The tension in the hair was heavy, everyone was thinking the same thing. Of all people to sit at the other end of the table, it shouldn’t be you.
“Um, I’m good.” you answered, sensing the tension building with each second. Junhui let out a grunt of satisfaction and Joshua a long sigh. You glanced over at Mingyu to see his lips pressed tightly together in a line. You rolled your eyes slightly and left the room, moving back into the kitchen to see what else you could find to eat. You ended up finding a pretty decent amount of food left behind and fixed yourself a small plate and sat down at the table to eat it.
This was probably the most relaxed you’d been since you’d arrived at the svt house. You were able to sit in an open room with sunlight streaming through the large windows, and you could simply sit comfortably. You didn’t feel as on edge as always, and actually felt comfortable enough to lean back in your chair. How long was this mood going to last?
The Devil’s Sons [02]
Tumblr media
poster by @minhaaru
One was sent to damn her into a life of eternal misery. The other was sent to save her. Neither had the intention of loving her.
word count: 1883 genre: fantasy, angst characters: Soonyoung x OC x Jihoon 00 | 01 | 03
"I can't believe you kidnapped a mortal."
"I didn't kidnap her. I saved her and then I panicked."
Sahyun's mind registered the hushed voices speaking around her before it took notice of her own body. Her ears tingled from the sounds, her head pounding endlessly as if someone were beating her with a hammer. The feeling slowly came back to her, her fingers and toes wiggling to help her blood circulate.
The voices kept speaking, and when she was fully alert, her mind instinctively forced her to keep her eyes closed and her mouth shut, to not let whoever was there know she was awake.
"And you brought her here, dumbass. That's kidnapping."
"Watch how you speak to me, Seungkwan. You're my subordinate, not my friend."
Sahyun's arm twitched slightly she felt something cold brush across the expanse of her bicep, the temperature sending a chill to her spine. Panic rose inside of her when she realized that the things touching her were fingers.
"Yeah, but as your subordinate-"
"She's awake." A third voice chirped out of nowhere, sounding much closer to her than the other two. She knew instantly it belonged the man who hand his hand on her arm.
She heard a sharp intake of breath and footsteps rushing closer, and then a smacking sound, followed by the hand being removed her skin.
A new touch took its place, this one so much warmer, the bitter cold of the other seemingly unreal and surely unnatural.
"Open your eyes please." A new voice spoke up and something about the gentle tone of it overrided the Fight or Flight response in Sahyun's nerves, and she found herself listening as a result, trusting the voice completely.
Her eyes fluttered open and she was met with a dimly lit room, filled ordinarily enough with a wardrobe, a desk and the bed she was currently laying on, although no pictures or decorations of any sort were present.
The hand on her arm let go and she was suddenly filled with panic once more. She squealed, her body jerking up and she pushed herself up on the bed so her back pressed firmly against the headboard, her knees brought to her chest tightly enough that she was secure, but could kick if she needed to protect herself.
Her eyes roamed the room erratically, taking in the form of each of the men who stood before her. There were four of them, each with a different expression adorning their face as they stared back at her.
To her left was were the two tallest of the four, the one closest to her being the one she assumed had touched her last.
"That wasn't kind of you, Jun. You shouldn't take away your comfort so quickly like that." The other one stated, his tone and expression startling her by how monotone and neutral it was. He lacked an form of emotional expression, and it rattled her.
“I didn’t. She’s just very strong-willed.”
Who she assumed to be Jun took a step closer to her and she flinched, letting out a whine involuntarily at the action. One of the other two took a step forward as well, in reaction to her, his arm outstretched slightly as if he were going to protect her. When he took in her scared expression, his arm fell and he shook his head, allowing his own panicked expression to turn neutral.
"Don't touch her, Jun. Let's leave her be, for now."
"Are you sure it's a good idea to just walk away?" The last men spoke, Seungkwan she guessed, if their earlier conversation indicated anything.
He raven haired man turned to him with a serious expression. "It is if I say it is."
"He's right." Jun spoke up, his eyes connecting with Sahyun's briefly. "Allow her some time to process where she is, at least."
Something in his dark eyes glowed for a fraction of a second, and he smiled gently at her as a calming feeling took over her once more.
"Just know that you're safe here. We aren't going to hurt you."
Sahyun found herself believing his words and she nodded slowly, watching as he gestured to the man on her far left to follow him, and with the other two, they left the room.
With a greater sense of urgency, Sahyun's instincts kicked in again, the sound of the door locking setting off a time bomb in her mind and she threw her legs off the bed, forcing herself to move. Her limbs gave out for a moment, her entire body feeling weak and making her wonder just how long she had been out.
She was still wearing her clothes from her visit to her parents, and she noticed her brown bag sitting by the door. She ran to it, trying to keep her steps light incase they were listening in.
Even though she knew it was useless, she still prayed that somehow, some way, her cellphone would be in her bag and she would be able to call for help. Her heart skipped when she found it sitting at the bottom, a sense of hope filling her from the sight.
But, that hope quickly vanished when the device wouldn't even turn on in her hands, the screen remaining a dull black, almost as if it were mocking her.
Her shoulders slumped in defeat at that prospect.
There were no windows and the only door out of the room was the one those men left through and she had no doubt they would be waiting for her on the other side if she opened it.
She was stuck.
And she didn't even know where.
Sahyun was not the type to give up so easily, however. Her mind was quick with coming up with possible solutions, and the only feasible one she could think of at that moment was one that was unlikely to work, but if it was the only chance she had, she would take it.
She crawled to the other side of the door and sat in the corner, knowing that when it opened she would be on the opposite side of it and had a slim chance of sneaking behind whoever entered the room to run out. It would only work if the circumstances were perfect, but it was the only shot she had at getting away and figuring out where the Hell she was at and what the Hell had happened to her.
She curled up in her spot, bringing her knees to her chest as she thought about the last thing she remembered.
The flashing of headlights blinded all other imagery, the feeling of terror making her palms sweat. The prospect of death imminent.
What if...
What if she was actually dead and this was Hell itself that she was in and there was no escape?
She shivered at the thought and shook it away, taking in a deep breath of determination and exhaling quietly. She could do it.
Seconds passed, though her head was far too foggy to register any real sense of time so she had no idea how long she waited there before the door finally creaked open.
The boy by the name of Seungkwan peeked his head in, not even noticing her in the corner, just like she had hoped. "Hello?"
She held her breath to keep silent as he glanced around the room, praying that what little shadow she had over her would keep her hidden well enough. He stepped in, his eyebrows furrowing when he couldn't pinpoint her location, and she took that moment to crawl behind him and make her way out the door.
The escape was short lived, however, when she turned away from watching the back of Seungkwan and she came face to... shin with one of the other men.
She gasped her at the sudden appearance and looked up, startled to find the one without any emotion standing above her. And what he did next absolutely shocked her. Without seeming to care that she was trying to escape, he simply stepped aside and motioned for her to continue on her way out. Just like that.
Her brain couldn't even fathom his actions and she gave him a confused expression even as she took the opportunity to keep going. She figured she probably looked pretty ridiculous when Seungkwan turned around and his eyes landed on her position below the man, slowly crawling out of the room on all fours.
"What the- Hey, where are you going, lady?" She got off her knees at the sound of his voice and began to run, adrenaline pushing her to move faster when she heard his own hard steps following her. "Why are you just standing there like an idiot, Minghao? You have no sense of urgency, do you?"
"What is going on in th-" Sahyun had almost made it out of the hallway when she crashed into another person, catapulting the two of them to the ground. His hands came up in a natural reaction to protect her from the fall and he groaned when she screamed at his touch and began flailing, hitting him all over the place with her own hands to get away. He held onto her steadily enough despite that, irritation building up with each slap. "Oh for fuck's sake, Jun can you please do something about this crazy woman?"
A moment later another hand reached out to cup her chin forcing her to turn and meet the eyes of Jun, his touch calming her instantly, magically even.
"I told you that you were safe with us. You can trust me, darling." Something in his eyes flashed just like before, and Sahyun found herself slumping in the arms of the fourth man, reassured of her safety once more and her instinct to escape leaving her entirely this time.
She stared into Jun's eyes for a long while before he finally let go of her chin, giving her a dazzling smile. "Why don't you stand up and allow us to feed you while we explain what's going on? Surely, you must be starving?"
At the mention of a meal, Sahyun's stomach seemed to growl in response for her and Jun chuckled reaching his hand out to her once more, this time to help her up from his comrades hold.
She gave a brief look to the male who still had his arms securely around her, and he batted his eyelashes at her a few times in embarrassment before letting go, turning away.
"What have I gotten myself into?" She heard him grumble as Jun led her to the dining room, her body following him without a single care. She knew that there must be something off with him for her to being so willing, but her mind was not in the best place to question what was happening.
"Yeah, Soonyoung. What have you gotten all of us into?" Seungkwan complained in response, earning a sigh in return.
Soonyoung turned to look at Sahyun’s retreating figure as she disappeared into another room with Jun. He was extremely impulsive when he saved her, and it could turn out to be the biggest mistake of his existence.
“I don’t know.” He said mostly to himself. “It had better be worth it."
Spooky Stargazing
Tumblr media
childhood best friend!Chan x Reader (gender neutral)
Words: 1.5K words
Summary: Holidays just aren’t your thing. So Chan decides to skip out on parties to make your Halloween a little better.
Warnings: none
A/N: so holidays just feel more lonely as I get older and I thought of this while working on Halloween. Happy Halloween to those who celebrate, and I hope this gives comfort to those of you who feel a little alone this year.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You laid back down in bed, a sigh escaping your lips.
Another Halloween and nothing to do. You spent your day perusing through the festive movies, occasionally settling on one and becoming tired of it by the halfway point. You’d then open up social media to look at everyone else dressing up in revealing outfits that barely pass as costumes.
Costumes weren’t really your thing.
Well, Halloween in general really wasn’t your thing.
It’s not that you had anything against it, the holiday itself was rather cute. It’s just that Halloween hasn’t felt the same since you were young. You suppose that the magic of holidays just wore off once you became older.
So your face was stuck in a bit of a pout as you sighed yet again, looking for something to take your mind off your negative feelings.
Alcohol was always an option, but you weren’t much of a party type either. You could always ask you friends to hang out, however most of them already had plans for the night and none of which included entertaining you.
You decided upon rewatching a Halloween movie until you got bored once again. You panned through your options until you decided on one you’ve seen many times: the nightmare before Christmas. Maybe the Christmas elements would make you feel a bit better.
You tucked yourself further into your covers as you clicked play. The opening tune began to play as you grabbed a stuffed animal to cuddle into while watching.
Only fifteen minutes in to the movie and you found yourself fighting off sleep despite the fact that it wasn’t even 10 pm yet. Your eyes went between closing for a few minutes back to watching the movie. That was until your phone buzzed in your hand.
You supposed it was probably just a notification for a game or one of your many shopping apps. But to your surprise, the name of your best friend flashed upon the screen.
Why Chan was texting you when he should be out partying was a mystery to you.
You pushed yourself up into a sitting position on your bed while the movie continued to play in the background.
Chan: hey :)
You sent back a simple question mark, needing no further explanation as to why you were confused.
Chan: Vernon decided to hit some parties without me. Wasn’t feeling it this year.
This came as a surprise to you seen as how two days ago he was telling you all about his fantastic costume idea.
“A sexy panda?” you looked down to Chan incredulously. His head laid in your lap as he nodded fervently.
“Yes! I wear a panda head and then black pants and shoes,” he shot up in excitement.
“And what about the shirt?”
“That’s what makes it sexy, no shirt,” his arms moved eagerly as he smiled bright.
You shook your head in disbelief at him, “I’m not sold. You can’t just wear no shirt and claim that it’s now sexy, Chan. That’s not how it works.”
“But Vernon and Seungkwan told me it’s a great idea,” Chan whined out, a little quieter than before.
“And that’s because you chose to be friends with two idiots who want to see how stupid you would look in that costume,” you gave him a pointed look, quirking your brow in the process.
You blinked as your phone screen lit up with another text from Chan.
Chan: you doing anything?
You smiled down at your phone, telling him you were bored out of your mind, and you need to be rescued ASAP. A few minutes later and Chan was on his way to pick you up and save you from your boredom.
When he sent you another text saying he was here, you were just finishing brushing your hair. You grabbed the last few of your things before throwing on some shoes and locking the door on your way out.
You impatiently waited for the elevator to hit your floor and make its way down to the lobby of your apartment complex. When the elevator finally dinged for the first floor, you fast-walked out of the building and beelined for your best friend’s car.
A smile graced your face as you opened the door of his gray car, sitting down in the familiar passenger seat.
“Glad to see you’re not black out drunk yet,” you looked over at Chan as he sat in the driver’s seat.
He was dressed in something far from a Halloween costume, with sweats and a sweatshirt covering his body and his glasses framing his face. Mock hurt crossed his face as he moved some of his light brown hair (dyed, thanks to Soonyoung convincing him it was a good idea and you having to salvage the mess that was beginning to unfold).
“That was only freshman year of college, and you know it was because someone spiked the punch. It wasn’t my fault,” he began pulling out of the parking lot and driving to a random location.
“I’m sure it was that. Definitely not just your low tolerance and demand to make everything a competition,” your sarcastic words bounced off him like they always did.
“Shush. I thought picking you up would be fun, not an opportunity for you to bully me,” he glanced at you between words.
“Bullying you is a regular occurrence, you should be used to it after knowing me for years Lee Chan,” the teasing manner ever present in your words, “now where are you taking me? Or is it some undisclosed second location where you’re finally going to murder me on this Hallow’s eve?”
“Bold to assume I would leave an evidence trail so obvious if I were to do so. But no, we’re going out of town for a few hours. Figured there’d be less people there.”
“Now you’re trying to hard to sound like you’re planning on ending me. What’s the real plan for tonight?”
“I figured we could go stargazing. Tonight’s a full moon after all and I know you don’t really get to do this kind of thing very often,” he sincerely responded for the first time tonight.
A warm feeling circled in your stomach as you felt touched that he would think to do something like this for you. Sure, you’ve been friends for years. However you most often spend time cuddling and watching movies or playing too many video games with him and the rest of the boys.
“That sounds rather nice actually. I’m looking forward to it,” you responded back just as sincere as he did to you.
The rest of the car ride was filled with the story of Vernon getting ready at his and Chan’s apartment--apparently he decided to go as a sexy hippie (not a huge surprise to you, his wardrobe fits that costume more than you would like to admit).
When Chan finally pulled off the side of the road and stopped the car, the two of you were quite literally in the middle of nowhere. Both ways the road went, you couldn’t see city lights. When you stepped out of the car, your eyes panned upwards at the night sky.
A gasp escaped your lips as you admired the tons of stars that you had trouble seeing in the city.
Your eyes remained fixated on the sky as Chan reached into the back of his car to grab a couple of blankets.
“Let’s go lay somewhere farther off the side of the road, you’ll be able to see them even better laying down,” Chan smiled across the car at you.
You nodded and proceeded to follow him, his phone flashlight being the only light source for miles. Once you and Chan laid the blankets down and were gazing back upon the sky, you let out a sigh. But for the first time today, a sigh of content.
Chan and you took turns pointing out constellations you both knew, and pondered over what other ones looked like if you didn’t recognize the collection of stars. Neither of you would claim to be experts, but the activity was fun nonetheless.
You kept your eyesight casted upwards as the two of you would drift in and out of conversation comfortably. You finally turned towards Chan, slight surprise filled your expression when your eyes locked with Chan’s, already fixed on you.
“Thank you Chan. For all of this,” you gestured to the blanket and the sky, “you don’t know how much I needed this.”
He merely smiled back at you and shook his head.
“Holidays aren’t really your thing. The least I could do is make sure my best friend has just a good of a time as I do.”
“As ravishing as you would look in that sexy panda costume, I’m happy you chose me over those parties you wanted to go to,” you smiled over at him.
“I would look good as a sexy panda, wouldn’t I?” he let out a slight laugh at your compliment.
You moved closer until your head rested on his shoulder and your arm wrapped around his torso. His arm naturally wrapped itself around your waist.
“I love you,” you muttered into his shoulder as you looked back up at the stars.
“Happy Halloween,” he left a brief kiss in your hair, staring up into the sky with you, “I love you too.”

Sketch
Tumblr media
Minghao x Reader
Words: <1k words
Summary: You just really want there to exist a sketch of your boyfriend Minghao, is that too much to ask for?
Warnings: none, a little spicy topic at one point but still SFW
A/N: so uh I had this scene plastered in my brain for a while, and I didn’t want it to get too detailed so this is what I decided on, I hope you all enjoy~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Xu Minghao! I swear if you don’t stop moving I’m going to ignore you for a whole week.”
Ok, so maybe you were being kind of harsh. But you’ve been trying to sketch one part of his jaw for the past thirty minutes and you’re not known for having much patience.
To be fair, this all started over you insisting that a drawing of Minghao would be the best thing to exist on the entire planet. And despite Minghao being an amazing arts major at your local college, he refuses to draw a self portrait.
So, you being the stubborn girlfriend you are, you grabbed your sketchbook and a pencil and forced Minghao in front of you with a quick “sit still”.
The two of you wouldn’t be in this situation if he would have just listened to you and drawn himself.
You begged him for days, using a multitude of reasons as to why he just has to draw himself.
“It would look good for a portfolio.”
“I wanna go into photography, a drawing of myself doesn’t prove my skills with a camera.”
“It would be such a good present for me.”
“I already have your present planned.”
“Your parents wanna see how far your skills have come.”
“They went to my gallery exhibit last week y/n you’re not getting this drawing.”
Your boyfriend was sat across from you on the bed, right next to the window for some good lighting. To be fair, he’s already been sitting there for over an hour, and your hand was starting to cramp.
“But y/n, my neck is getting sore,” Minghao whined out.
“Fine. Ten minute break.”
Your boyfriend let out a cheer at his victory and made his way to your side of the bed.
“Let me see what you have so far,” his tanned arm reached out to grab your notebook from your hands. You drew the sketch closer to your chest and shook your head in protest.
“Absolutely not. No peeking!”
Minghao continued to try to grab the notebook from your hands, pleading for just a glance at your handiwork. You leaned back, extending your arms above your head in a desperate attempt to keep the drawing away from him.
“Hao—stop,” you grunted as he leaned over your body, the gap closing between his fingers and the pages of the book, “I’m not done, it doesn’t look good yet.”
“I’m sure it already looks great, given the beautiful model you’re drawing,” he smiled down at you.
Your arms reached as far away from Minghao as they could before one of you slipped, resulting in the notebook falling from your grasp and you let out a surprised squeak.
Laying fully on the bed, you looked up at your boyfriend who was only inches from your face now.
“Well hey there, cute stuff,” Minghao winked at you. His arms wrapped themselves around your frame as the golden light splayed across his face, accentuating his features.
“Hey,” you let out a breathless greeting. Your palms laid down on the bed and your arms rested flat on either side of you as a result of the slip.
Minghao moved his face down towards your neck, his breath fanning across your collarbone exposed by your loose t-shirt.
“What do you say we come back to this another time? I have a better use for this bed right now,” Minghao mumbled out, leaving a trail of kisses  up and down across your neck.
“You’re just trying to get out of sitting still for another hour,” you stared up at the ceiling, brushing off his offer.
He let out a low laugh.
“Maybe. But either way, I think it would be a much better use of our time. Jun’s only gonna be out for a little longer and we both know he won’t leave us alone once he gets back from the store,” Minghao raised a good point as your hands moved to trace patterns on his back as you contemplated his words.
“But the thought of him almost catching us is always more exhilarating,” you smirked up at your boyfriend, knowing he too found the prospect of getting caught a turn-on.
Minghao made his way farther up your body, leaving kisses wherever his lips could reach.
“As true as that might be,” he spoke between kisses, “I like hearing how good I make you feel when he’s not in the other room,” he whispered the last few words into your ear.
A blush rose across your cheeks at the vulgar words leaving your boyfriend's mouth. Minghao leaned back to look at your face, a cocky grin on his.
You leaned in towards his lips, and just as you two were about to meet, you turned your head away from him. Your arms reached forward to lightly push him off of you, a smirk on your face.
“Break time is over, now go sit back where you were,” you pointed towards the window.
Minghao let out a whine, begrudgingly moving back to his original position. You grabbed your pencil and the notebook, situating yourself so that you would be comfortable for another extended period of time.
You looked down at the half-finished sketch and glanced back up at your boyfriend. A smile graced your lips as you took him in entirely. The way the shades on the window created segmented lighting across him and the whole bed. The way his legs rested atop the messy, unmade bedding from this morning. And the breathtakingly beautiful features of his face, as he sat there, staring off at a random point of the room.
Yeah, this sketch was definitely going to be the best thing you ever created.
Where’s The Bed?
Type: Fluff, Couple Au, Drabble, a little angst just a lil
Requested by @nuestro-heaventeen (I tried my best I hope you like it! <3)
{Y/N and Wonwoo move in together}
 You grabbed the last box from the movers truck as Wonwoo paid the movers. You and Wonwoo had been dating 3 years and after a painstakingly long time, he finally agreed. He rejected your offer a year and a half ago to move into your apartment, one because he was gone all the time and there wouldn’t be much use in moving in if he wasn’t there, two because he had grown quite comfortable living with the boys and he thought it’d be a hassle to move his “perfect” gaming setup he had created with Seungcheol.
 After his last promotion, he was the one to bring it up in conversation.
“Would you want to move in with me babe?” he said nonchalantly.
 You nearly cursed him out for asking such a stupid question. Of freaking course, you wanted to move in with him! This resulted in him trying to cuddle and you playfully refusing but ultimately giving in to his oh so cringy aegyo.
 Now here you two are in a forest of boxes, both utterly confused as to where to start. You both decided to get an apartment together instead of moving into your very small loft. Mainly due to the fact that Wonwoo’s PC system took up too much room and he couldn’t live without it although he was cutting down on gaming.
 You guys unpacked a lot of the boxes that night after the movers left, pushing the rest into what was supposed to become your office space. You ordered some pizza and opted for sleeping on the new couch, not wanting to try and build a bed at 11pm.
 The next morning you woke up to the sound of Wonwoo attempting to cook an omelette, you admit it didn’t seem bad but it looked like scrambled eggs as you looked over his shoulder. You snaked your arms lazily around his waist, he turned to try and kiss you but you quickly stopped that advance.
“I haven’t brushed my teeth baby”
“I don’t care your too cute to not kiss right now.”
“But you see my lil wonton I care..” you said as you removed yourself to brush your teeth.
 After breakfast, you guys went back to unboxing your belongings. Wonwoo spending an alarming amount of time trying to assemble a comfortable gaming setup, even though you told him many times to do it later.
 You guys had unpacked all the boxes and there was one very big thing missing from your bedroom. You went up to Wonwoo, who was now sitting in his gaming chair, with a very sarcastic smile.
“Baby where’s the bed?!” you said through your teeth.
“Oh that... Oh yeah, I umm sold it to get money for the new couch,” he said the last part in a fast whisper.
“JEON WONWOO YOU DID WHAT???!!! If you told me you couldn’t pay for it, I-”
“It’s not that I couldn’t pay for it, I just got my paycheck, of course, I could afford it. I just thought that because you always complained that your bed is too small and it always creaked, I could get you and me a comfortable king-sized bed...”
“What??”
“Yeah, y,know I’m pretty well off because of seventeen honey haha.”
*Ding Dong*
“Ahh see that must be the bed people.”
 Wonwoo opened the door. Three people came in with a bed that could barely fit your doorway, they assembled everything and even put some free bedsheets on. You felt kind of terrible for freaking out a bit.
 He paid them and came back to you face down on the bed like a starfish.
“Comfortable?”
“Yes” you said but it was a bit muffled through the pillows.
 He pushed you to the side so he could slip under you and then laid you back on top of him so that you were now smooshed together. You quickly adjusted yourself so that you were laying side by side looking at each other. You looked up at him with puppy eyes and said,
“I’m sorry...”
“It’s ok baby, I should’ve told you, instead of making you freak out.”
“No, I should’ve listened to you before being dramatic”
 He pulled you closer as you buried your face in his chest.
“You're cute when your mad y,know that?”
“Ugh so lame, I love you though Jeon Wonwoo.” you chuckled.’
 He peppered your face with kisses and you guys relaxed into each other's arms. You wished you could stay like this forever but you were soon interrupted by the doorbell and banging.
“Yaa Wonwoo open up, you took my monitor you snake!! You guys better not be doing the frick frack!!” You guys laughed as Seungcheol yelled through the door.
100 Followers💕
Wow guys! We made it :) I didn't expect it to happen so soon, or for it to happen at all. I remember at the beginning of January, I was here with...like 33 followers and now it's already exceeded 100. It might not be a lot, especially compared to all these big writing blogs. BUT I want to say thank you to everyone out there who follows me. 고맙다❤
Pressing the follow button on my blog or the like/reblog button on my writings may look like an unnecessary thing, but to me, every follower, every like, every reblog and every comment means a lot and spurs me on to write more and upload it here. It just feels good when there are people out there who like what you do, who like and appreciate your hard work. Seeing the follower number on my blog or the notes number on my posts go up has made me so happy and excited.
Even though I'm a small writing blog, this blog helps me to stay happy when everything around me is breaking down. And I want to thank all of you for that because without you, this blog would go unnoticed.
Thank you💕
Royalty // Hoshi // Pt. 9
Pt. 1 // Pt. 2 // Pt.3 // Pt.4 // Pt. 5 // Pt. 6 // Pt. 7 // Pt. 8 // Pt. 9 // Pt. 10
Word Count: 2,316
Genre: Royal au, Angst in this one a tiny bit, fluff
Summary: You’re driven from your own kingdom by your wicked step-mother and flee to the one safe place you know…but how safe will it stay
“The prince has finished his meeting, he’s looking for you.” Hansol declared walking up to where you had come to sit in the beautiful garden. The meeting had taken much longer then you imaged, and it was already midday when hansol came to get you. You nodded slowly, knowing full well what was to come after meeting up with Soonyoung. While it always makes a person uneasy to meet the King and Queen of the land, the Ocean Kingdom’s King and Queen were much harsher than the other kingdoms. Soonyoung’s father and your own had gotten along well enough, but you had overheard plenty of your father’s conversations about what goes on in the Ocean Kingdom. That’s why when you were little you tried to make sure to steer clear of Soonyoung anytime he showed up in your kingdom. Being in the kingdom itself had brought up these memories. And now, not only are you about to face the two harshest rulers on the continent, but you were meeting them as the very possible bride to their son, and as a princess whose own kingdom is chasing after. The odds were against you. There was no possible way this meeting would go well.
“How can such a beautiful kingdom have such harsh rulers…” you mumbled to yourself as you followed Hansol back into the palace to meet up with Soonyoung.
You had reached the point of stressing yourself out so much that you were too tired to actually worry about anything when the time came. Whatever happened, happened, and there was nothing you could do to prevent it from happening. At worse, the King and Queen would turn you over to your kingdom. To kill you would most definitely end up in a war between kingdoms, and it’s highly unlikely the Ocean Kingdom is looking for war. Now, sure, you were 99% sure you would be killed as soon as you got near the Snow Kingdom, but there was still that 1% chance you wouldn’t, right? Soonyoung, despite looking calm, was far from it. He could barely sit through the meeting. He wanted so badly for his parent’s approval, and if anything did go wrong, it would be his fault because he was the one who arranged for everyone to meet. Now was the long awaited ‘make or break’ moment. You and Soonyoung stood in front of the tall wooden double doors that led into the huge hall the King and Queen resided in. After crossing through these doors, your fate would be decided. Soonyoung reached down and grabbed your hand, giving it a tight squeeze. You looked over at him.
“It’s going to be okay. I’ll be with you every step of the way.” Soonyoung said. Part of you felt that he said that to comfort himself as well, but there wasn’t much time to think about it. The doors began to creak open and Soonyoung let go of your hand, offering one more comforting smile that made your heart flutter even during a stressful time like this.
The inside was very different then your own Hall back home. The floors were a beautiful white marble and tall windows rose up on both sides of the walls, open and letting the salty sea air blow against the white curtains that hung down on either side of each window. At the end of the hall sat the King and Queen's thrown, elevated on a platform of sorts. Each seat and tapestries behind them were adorned with a deep purple and beautiful shades of blue, all pulled together with gold accents. The King was just as dashing as his son, but was starting to grey a bit. The Queen looked lovely and regal, but in the end, both looked extremely stiff and nothing like Soonyoung with his relaxed manner.
As the two of you made the long walk towards the King and Queen, you noticed how different Soonyoung seemed. He stood up taller and straighter, and his face looked stone cold. He no longer gave off a calm, easy going vibe. Standing next to him didn’t feel like standing in a beautiful green meadow with golden sunlight streaming down, and it was scary how quickly he had changed. You followed closely next to Soonyoung, trying your best to put off the cold vibe as well, but no doubt failing. The only sound in the room was the fluttering of curtains and the footsteps from you and Soonyoung, and the occasional clang as Soonyoung’s sword hit up against something. When the two of you finally came to a stop in front of the King and Queen, there was a stifling silence. You could feel their eyes look you up and down. All you wanted to do was run away as fast as possible. But you couldn’t know. You were stuck.
“So, you’re the person our Soonyoung is in love with…” The Queen mused. You felt a shiver run down your spine.
“Yes ma’am.” you spoke, trying hard to keep your voice from shaking. This experience was almost worse then being chased out of your own kingdom by your step-mother.
“Where are you from?” The king questioned.
“I’m the princess of the Snow Kingdom.” you replied
“And why are you not in your own kingdom? I’m sure you are needed there.” the queen asked. You could almost feel the blood drain from your face. There is no telling what they would do if they found out you were being chased by your own kingdom. With your crazy step-mother, if someone found out you were hiding in the ocean kingdom a whole military could be sent to retrieve you. Next to you, Soonyoung shifted from one foot to another, worried as to how you might answer the question. You thought for a second, but not wanting to take any longer and make it look suspicions you finally answered.
“I wanted to see what each kingdom looked like before I have to fully take on my title. I met Prince Soonyoung while I was in the Mountain Kingdom.” The queen nodded, but you noticed a small frown appear on the king's face. Did he know?
“Your father passed away recently did he not? What a shame, he was a good man.” the king stated. You nodded. Things were going to smoothly, something didn’t seem right.
“But your stepmother is still, around right? Shouldn’t you be at home to comfort her. She has lost her husband after all?”
“We were never very close, I figured it would be smartest if I left her at home so she could mourn by herself…” you answered, trying to word your sentences perfectly. You could feel Soonyoung tense up next to you. Something wasn’t right at all, even Soonyoung agreed with you. There was a moment of silence between the four of you. All that could be heard was the gentle flapping of the curtains in the ocean breeze. The king let out a long sigh and leaned forward in his chair.
“Soonyoung, will you please go wait outside?” the king spoke, his tone of voice making it more of a statement then a questioned. Every muscle in your body froze as you watched him slowly look towards you, a look in his eyes that held too many emotions to read with the quick glance. He bowed to the king and queen then turned around and walked back down the long hall and out the doors. The one thing that made you feel safe was now gone. You heard the king clear his throat and looked up at him, his hands clasped around the arms of his chair.
“I’m going to get straight to the point Miss (y/n). I know what is going on in your kingdom. I’m aware of your queen’s actions and why you are currently not in your own kingdom. That is something you must deal with on your own. You will get no help from this kingdom so long as i am in charge. While your father was alive, he created a powerful army unlike any of the other kingdoms. Why he created such a powerful army when all of the four kingdoms are at peace is still a mystery to me, but I will not have the Snow Queen's biggest target living in my kingdom when she has such a powerful force behind her. And I certainly will not allow my son to get tangled up with such a person as you. Leave my kingdom as soon as possible, and drop all contact with the Prince.” Your heart dropped. Of course, this would happen, it was inevitable.
“Where should I go?” you questioned, something you probably shouldn’t have asked, but did anyway.
“It doesn’t matter to us, but you may soon find that all the kingdoms will turn you away when they find out about the Queen and her actions.” the king answered, leaning back into his thrown.
“All that matters to us, as both the rulers of this kingdom, and parents, is that you leave Soonyoung out of this. He doesn’t need to go around chasing after some run away like you. I recommend that you stay as far away from the prince as possible before you leave, or there will be some consequences.” The queen spoke up. You didn’t know what to say, what could you have said? You finally managed to stumble out a shaky, quiet “yes ma’am” before turning around and walking out of the hall. Your legs shook with each step that you took. You were worried they’d give out before you left the hall.
When you finally reached the doors and walked passed them, and you heard the faint click as they latched together you finally let yourself go. Soonyoung was nowhere in sight, one of the castle staff probably pulled him away by the king and queen’s request. Every part of you was shaking, from your legs to your hands. You could feel the hot tears start to spill from your eyes. You just ran. You ran straight through the castle, passed your room and passed the garden, right off the castle grounds and straight for the ocean. It was already dark out. The once friendly seeming ocean was now dark and cold. The sea breeze saw sharp and cold, whipping the sand around your bare legs, stinging each time a grain of sand flew against your skin. You pushed your hair out of your face, trying desperately to calm down. You stood there for a while, watching and listening as the waves crashed against the shore. You knew that the best outcome for you from that situation was simply being told to leave, but to drop all contact from Soonyoung was a different matter. The queen said there would be consequences if you spoke with Soonyoung, you didn’t know if these consequences would be against you or Soonyoung, but all that mattered to you was that Soonyoung stayed safe, and if leaving the kingdom meant that he would be safe, that is what you are going to do. You decided to take a little walk along the shore before heading back to your room to get a little more sleep before leaving tomorrow. You watched as crabs scuttled away every now and then, and listened to the waves and the sound of the wind rustling the plants that grew on the sand duns. Among these noises, you picked up footsteps that weren’t your own. Was guy from earlier back? Did the king and queen change their mind and send someone to kill you? You quickly turned around and your heart stopped. There, maybe thirty or so feet away from you stood none other than Soonyoung.
“(Y/n)! Are you okay? Some guard took me and locked me in my room but I escaped! What happened?” Soonyoung shouted over the wind, starting to walk towards you.
“No! Soonyoung stop! Don’t get any closer I don’t know what’ll happen!” You shouted back. He stopped immediately, but gave you a confused look.
“Soonyoung, I-” you began, ringing your hands together. “I really do love you. I love you more than anything else.” you said just loud enough to be heard over the wind. A warm smile spread across Sooyoung's face, and even from where you stood you could see his eyes sparkling with joy. Right as you opened your mouth to say another thing a look of terror crossed Soonyoung’s face.
“(Y/N) LOOK OUT!” He screamed, already taking a few steps towards you. You didn’t even have time to react. Right as he spoke those words something sharp slammed into your back. At first you thought maybe a rock or something had been thrown against your back, but then you felt it. A sharp, biting pain spread through your body faster than wildfire. You dropped to your knees and reached to your shoulder only to come into contact with something smooth sticking out of your back. You’d been shot by an arrow. You looked up in horror to see Soonyoung still running towards you. His hand was reaching for his sword when the arrow finally found its way to him. The first hit him in the shoulder, the second near the stomach. You didn’t know anything about fatal wounds, but it couldn’t have been good. Soonyoung dropped down into the sand no more than ten feet away from you. Everything before him seemed to happen in slow motion. He watched, helpless as you were knocked unconscious, and he watched as someone bent over your body and tied up your hands. He slowly slipped into the darkness, the last thing he saw was you being carried away by some unknown hooded figure. Every fiber of his being was screaming at him to stay awake and chase after you, but the darkness swallowed him before he could do anything.
