One day I’ll learn how to do backgrounds 😭

This one took far longer than I was anticipating because 1) there are three figures to draw and 2) the sports illustrated cover I was inspired by was photoshopped to all hell and I spent hours trying to make their weirdo proportions look normal 😂

This is the pièce de résistance of the Captain America Swimsuit edition series! I’ve got plenty more ideas for pinups coming up and I may even do some more beachy pinups this summer. Looking forward to some fall/winter ideas coming up tho.

I really want a Stevesambucky story where they all already date each other, but each of them thinks that the other two are the best couple in the world and they can’t possibly compare.

Sam will look at Steve and Bucky and think: “they have so much history that doesn’t even involve me; do they truly need me in this relationship?”. Steve will look at Sam and Bucky and think: “they have so much natural chemistry mixed with genuine affection, I’ll never have this much romantic tension with either of them...”. Bucky will look at Steve and Sam and think: “they’re so adorable together, it’s like like a love story from a romcom... why would they need to add my negative ass to their perfect fairytale?”.

Basically all of three of them are morons who wallow in self-pity and refuse to communicate, even though a single conversation would solve this problem.

(Alternative version: they don’t date, yet. But every one of them thinks that the other two absolutely are, because there’s no way someone can be this close and not be half-married.)

When did you post your first ever fanfic?

2012, I believe. It was an [anime redacted] x reader fic on Deviantart. It's still up because some people genuinely enjoyed what I made and I don't want to take that from them, but jesus h. fuck was it bad. But also, I was 12, so I'm going to cut myself some slack

Luke Skywalker, in a never-to-be-published self-insert SW:EU fic I wrote at age 11. I was obsessed with the Expanded Universe and wrote both me and my crush into it, changed our names, and genuinely thought I could get it into the EU

If you want to read a longer [30k words] Stevesambucky story, I can recommend “Someone to Hold True” by NachoDiablo, just for this moment alone. It’s an alternative version of canon where Steve became the Winter Soldier and Bucky was the one to freeze. (Also, the drawn headers to each chapter are a very nice touch :D)
