What do you think would Fox and Shisui think of each other if they ever met?

Oh anon.... Honestly I love both of these characters to pieces but imagining them meeting...!!!

Fox would think Shisui is... Someone who needs watching. This is a guy who is pretty young, by nat-born standards, but obviously frighteningly skilled, and the origins of those skills would be REALLY suspect. He is also clearly lying a lot, Fox would clock this immediately, and Fox doesn't like bullshit but especially not Force Bullshit. However Shisui is earnest and protective of individuals as well as big-picture peace, and he's much more brutal than the Jedi which will appeal to a man like Fox who doesn't have a Jedi General and has been pushed to the edge by the Senate, so I think Fox would warm up to him. Given Shisui's strong moral code but his willingness to be absolutely brutal, and his familiarity with death and his trump-card experience with mental/sensory manipulation, I think he would be a great ally for Fox and Fox would eventually know this. Fox might be frustrated out of his mind but Shisui is now in his inner circle of Ride Or Die and this is amazing ✨

Shisui would see Fox, the horrible circumstances of his birth and the abuse from the Senate (let's be real here, I'm running how I want this to run and IDGAF if it's more fanon than canon), and want to help. (Shisui, looking around: is no one gonna fix this mess? Also Shisui: *leaps in without waiting for an answer*). He has experience with investigation, both in ANBU and the Uchiha Police, and it's almost impossible for him to keep his nose out 😅 Fox is strong and gruff but he's no where near as... highbrow? as Shisui's Clansmen, who wore their heritage and position as a shield as much as a badge of honour, whilst the clones are proud bht very careful with their identity... Shisui keeps bracing for political maneuvering and yet Fox is... refreshing. He's so protective of his brothers, not like the Uchiha were defensive, because Fox would do ANYTHING for his brothers and so long as they're alive and whole etc then that's what matters but he's also tied so strongly to his sense of duty that theyre dealing with the crumbling Senate anyway and Shisui is kinda starry eyed for that kind of love and responsibility? Shisui is HERE for Fox being a total king of protectiveness

Well now I'm thinking 'palpatine gets pissed by Maul acting out and tries to SUMMON a new slave/apprentice only to get Shisui who snaps his neck on instinct and this leaves Shisui, who looks like That Sith The Jedi Have Been Looking For, pinned as the assassin of Darling Supreme Chancellor (not exactly wrong so the Force isn't registering any lies lmao), being chased by Fox, investigating the murder, and Anakin, who is absolutely not interested in the rule of law

So Shisui springs up, like the universe-shattering lunatic he is, and fucks up canon BAD. fox is like WHO IS THIS WEIRDO RUNNING UP WALLS AND BABBLING AN UNKNOWN LANGUAGE AND MAKING MY LIFE EVEN HARDER. shisui is like MAN THIS COP IS EVEN WORSE AT RIDING MY ASS THAN MY UNCLE AND THAT IS SAYING SOMETHING. Cue mutual begrudging (for Fox) respect and mounting frustration as they run around like *Scooby Doo Chase music* whilst Palpatine's corpse is smouldering in the BG.

I think Fox, who is a hardass but also is low-key like 'Fuck Palpatine', would be like THIS IS MY MURDERER, IDGAF WHAT SKYWALKER IS WAILING, DONT SHOOT MY SUSPECT. which means that, naturally, Shisui tries to extend the olive branch of working together to figure out the truth, Fox is like 'oh god no now I am believing in this Force bullshit', and you have 'law-abiding/jaded/hurt/bamf hard-shell-soft-center character' forced into partnering with 'wanted-criminal/jaded/hurt/bamf sunshine character' and I think this is an adventure for the books👏✨

Meant to be 5 times Tsukishima accidentally and very reluctantly saved Kageyama from his own social ineptness, and one time Kageyama does the same for him, but we ran into problems bc OP can't count.

(or: everyone is srsly stressed over kageyamas existence, but kageyama, despite having the common sense of a Five Minute Crafts video, is like those buff himbos within the tsundere category. so he somehow ends up wholly unscathed throughout this shit, while everyone else doesnt)

tldr: kageyama lacks forethought, and everyone but him suffers the consequences of it.

Sellers & Buyers of Antiques & Curiosities

Suna Rintarou squints at the small sign attached to the front door of the brick shopfront.

He wasn’t sure what he’d been expecting. Something flashier? More brass? The Miya brothers could do with a pot plant out the front. The shopfront has one single large window that’s covered by a plain white curtain, so maybe they could open that up and have some of their antiques and such on display so people get an idea of what they buy and sell. Maybe a paint job for the door, which is the most boring brown Suna has ever seen. There is nothing he can say about it—it’s not nice nor ugly, it’s just boring.

Or, maybe Suna could stop giving any more of a damn about this shopfront and just get his appointment over and done with.

After ending a relationship with a fiancé, Suna returns home and tries to heal from heartbreak. Here, he finds friends in the form of the Miya brothers, and learns patience, forgiveness, and what happiness means to him.

this sounds repetitive but…..SOOOOOOOO GOOOOOD i love the emotion and how it deals with sunas ex and like everything about this fic is gold

Maybe its because they both died in the machinations of the Villain before he was discovered.

Maybe its they are both a loyal and gentle soul.

But the greatest irony its how Shisui dies by water. For Nejibana would never allow her wielder to drown.

Edit: Jon Arryn and the Fives both fit the whole 'died discovering the Hidden Villain's secret, Aiolos from Saint Seiya too. It seens to be a popular trope.

Regency AU, set after a war that's implied to be an analogue to the Napoleonic Wars

Footsteps echoed down the corridor, and Itachi willed whoever it was to walk past the library, to leave him be. But the stars were not in his favour on that day, for the sound paused before it continued, muffled by the carpet that covered the library.

"One would think," a teasing voice sounded, and Itachi felt himself perk up, "that I would be able to locate Lord Uchiha at the ball thrown by the Uchiha Family. And yet, here you sit, far from the festivities. Where I had planned to hide, in fact."

Itachi pinched the bridge of his nose, sighing. "Has my absence been noticed so quickly?"

Kakashi chuckled as he entered Itachi's field of vision. He cut a dashing figure as he always did, clothed in a navy blue waistcoat. As Itachi's eyes roved down his figure, a familiar warmth sparked to life within him. "You know it has, my lord. The noble Lord Uchiha, awarded a medal of valour for his daring deeds against Orochimaru? The devastatingly handsome heir to the Naka Dukedom, recently returned from the warfront? The debutantes are casting their eyes all about the ballroom to be the first to spot you. Oh, and your mother is looking for you as well."

Itachi sighed once more, and snapped his book shut. He should return to the ballroom. It was the height of rudeness for him to hide in the library at a party hosted by his own family, and yet…

"It just seems so trivial," he admitted quietly, casting his eyes out the window, watching the steady flow of carriages in and out of the Uchiha Manor grounds. "All the social niceties, pretending I have any interest at all in discussing the weather or the races. To watch them, you would never realise how close to ruination we came. We fought as hard as we did in order to preserve this way of life, and yet, I find myself wholly unable to enjoy it."

Kakashi nodded slowly. "I keep hearing Obito's voice," he admitted. "Nagging at me to ask the wallflowers to dance. I almost did. And then I thought of having my back to all those people."

Not much more needed to be said. Both men well knew the horrors of war. It was not a thing of glory as the poets painted it – it was a thing of fear, of wondering if the man you embraced in the morning would live to see another sunrise. Of praying you would still be able to eat, dress and wash without requiring assistance at the close of each day. Kakashi had been fortunate to have only lost an eye in the conflict. And Itachi? The stars had smiled upon him indeed, for all his scars were invisible ones.

"And so, you sought out this wallflower instead," Itachi said, attempting a moment of levity. That was how it had been between them. Kakashi, bereft at losing Obito, and Itachi, still aching from Shisui's death, had found comfort in each other's company. Taking turns to wallow in despondency, and taking turns to lift the other out of the morass of grief. Just being with each other had soothed the sting of the loss, and he had almost believed himself healed.

Thankfully, his remark worked, and Kakashi snorted. "Of course," he mused. "My Lord Uchiha is hiding because he is too shy to dance! The only way to rectify this would be with a dancing lesson."

Itachi felt his lips quirk upwards. Kakashi always had that effect on him. "If my Lord Hatake would be so kind," he murmured. His heart beat faster at the thought of having Kakashi in his arms once more. They had not touched since they had left the warfront.

Two men sharing a tent and even their bedrolls was not looked askance at when female companionship was lacking, but back in polite society? It was utterly unthinkable. It mattered little that his and Kakashi's touches had been entirely innocent ones – holding each other through nightmares, stroking each other's hair. Any hint of the intimacy they had shared would be enough to court scandal.

Kakashi's hand settled around Itachi's waist, scorching even through the layers of cloth that separated it from his skin. "My Lord, if the purpose of this lesson is to restore my confidence in dancing, should I not be the one to lead?" Itachi remarked, desperately attempting to reduce the tension that had manifested the instant they had touched.

"If it was a normal dancing lesson, then of course," Kakashi replied, eyes twinkling in that way which always lightened Itachi's heart. "But you are a wallflower, and so you must be coaxed. And of course, I am taller than you."

By a scant few centimetres, but it was not as if Itachi was keeping track.

They were entirely silent as they twirled around the room, with only the books to bear witness. And then Kakashi dipped Itachi low before lifting him back up, and both men paused. There was an electricity crackling between them that they were both unwilling to extinguish.

"In Icha Icha," Kakashi said finally, "this would be the moment when the two lovers would kiss."

Itachi could barely suppress his smile. Kakashi had carried that noxious orange book everywhere, even breaking it out during column formations to break the tension before they met the Oto forces in battle.

He lifted a hand to Kakashi's face, tracing its hard planes. Looking into the eye that, like Itachi's, had seen far too much.

"Are we lovers, then?" Itachi whispered.

"We could be."

They could be, if Itachi was willing to forsake his duty as the heir to the Naka Dukedom. They could be, if Kakashi was willing to cry off from his engagement with a wealthy heiress, one that had been arranged while Kakashi was still in the cradle. They could be, if they were willing to be condemned by the ton for their unnatural desires.

But could Itachi truly abdicate, casting all responsibility onto his younger brother's shoulders?

Kakashi must have read the conflict in his expression, for he tilted his head and smiled in that way which forced his eye closed. He had once confided to Itachi that he did it when his eye watered, to prevent a show of weakness. Even as he took a small step back, his hand tightened on Itachi's waist.

"We have always toed that fine line, but it appears that we will never cross it," Kakashi said. Anyone else would have thought he was utterly unruffled. But then, anyone else would not have soothed him through the nightmares he had experienced after Obito had taken a bullet meant for him; would not know that precise set of his shoulders which indicated he was a single step away from the complete annihilation of his dignity.

Itachi felt the breath leave his chest. Something told him that if he allowed Kakashi to walk away now, this would be the end of everything. Of late night conversations over a bottle of whiskey they weren't supposed to have, of verbal spars and practice sword fights which ended in one of them getting pinned beneath the other, sweaty and panting.

Of dances set to a funeral dirge which only they could hear.

"No," Itachi whispered. He swallowed, and forced himself to say it once more with greater emphasis, to ensure Kakashi heard his resolve. "No." He had lost Shisui, and had only survived the loss of the man he loved because Kakashi had been there to patch the hole Shisui had left behind.

If he lost Kakashi too, it would end him.

Seizing Kakashi's face in his hands, Itachi pressed his lips against Kakashi's.

The music crescendoed as their hands and lips explored each other, finally allowing themselves the release they had denied themselves for far too long.

They had given enough of themselves. Perhaps now, it was time to allow themselves to take instead.

The team reluctantly report their discovery to the council, all the while Rin cries in heartache.

The Council decide to make this jedi business, and thus demand every Jedi to bring Obito to justice, they give a kill or capture order.

Rin is horrified by this. Kakashi and everyone try to persuade the council to try and take him alive, so he can be saved, but the council refuses.

Rin runs out of the chamber crying, quickly followed by Kushina, Sakura and Konan.

Rin hides in her own chambers and cries for the next two days.

Finally she comes out and meets with everyone again. They are all distraught and upset, but decide that they have to find Obito before any other jedi does.

Meanwhile Obito has now learned a terrifying new power, he has learned to use his spacetime manipulation in tandem with his force drain and he can now drain life from across lightyears. He now hunts for an ancient artefact that will allow him to consume the entire galaxy all at once.

A year goes by, and Minato, Rin, Kakashi, Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kushina, Nagato, Yahiko, Konan, Hinata, Tenten, Itachi, Shisui along with exiled Jedi masters; Jiraiya and Tsuande, hunt for Obito, at the same time they try to figure out what happened to him and how he became like this.

During their travels they learn from a former Sith, that there are legends of a mysterious dark side order deep in the unknown regions. Known as the sorcerers of Rhand. The sith explain that unlike the sith, who seek power, the sorcerers seek death and destruction.

This gives them an idea of what happened to Obito.

They encounter him on several occasions, each time he quickly teleports away before they can get close to him. Many more jedi and Republic troops die as well as hundreds of star systems.

Eventually the group decide to set a trap for him, to lure him to them.

Using an ancient sith artefact as bait, they bring Obito to them and they all engage him in combat.

However Obito is still too powerful for them to subdue.

However they are able to damage his mask once again, so that the right side of his face is exposed.

Rin and the others beg and plead with him, to stop what he’s doing and to come home.

But Obito just says that the Obito they knew is gone, and that what they see before them is all that remains.

Minato, Kakashi and Rin sob and apologise for failing him.

Obito remains silent and stares at them. Before finally saying that he is not their failure.

That they didn’t kill Obito Uchiha… But He did.

He ignites his darksaber and slowly begins to move forward, he says he will end everything, and give the jedi the peace they desire. By bringing death to everything.

Rin feels her heartbreak into a million million pieces. She cries hard than ever, and asks what happened to him, what made him like this. What made him empty and dark.

Obito only answers with a cryptic “I did.” He continues to advance towards them in a slow pace.

Rin breaks down and begs Obito to come home with them, and she screams out loud that she loves him, she has always loved.

Obito stops dead in his tracks. He stares at Rin as her words sink in.

She loves him.

For the first time in years this breaks through the endless darkness that had enveloped Obito and his feelings are once again awoken with a fury. The war between his emotions starts up again as the darkness and emptiness slowly starts to dissipate.

And for the first time, Obito’s eyes change, not to the sith red, but back to their natural obsidian.

It is in that moment that Rin can see the turmoil and conflict inside him, buried deep under a shroud of darkness and numbness.

But before long Obito’s eyes flicker into sith red and then back into their hollow black.

He then stares at all of them one last time, before he whispers, barely audible; I’m sorry and then teleports away.

CLIFFHANGER!!!!

Shen Yuan is dropped off at the foot of a mountain aware of two things:  he's in the story, and the Shen Qingqiu of this world is not only aware but thinks he tried to possess his body — and he's PISSED. Shen Yuan tries to opt out and live a simple life on what locals tell him is a monster-infested mountain no one in their right mind would bother with.

Sounds like a great hiding spot!

Nayeli has a couple of jobs where she needs to have a lot of specialized knowledge; as a tour guide and a folk dance instructor. However, she does not know why Nemesio makes her so nervous. Or why he thinks she can help him find answers about his father's disappearance. Maybe if he can help her understand why she feels hunted no matter where she goes, she can get enough breathing room to find him his answers.

Stars lit up, and the moon shines brightly under the Uchiha district. It was a festive night. A prosper, and new growth of the growing clan maintained power and stability since the warring states era.

The raven-haired man crossed his arms and legs while watching your graceful and sophisticated dance as you captivate the audience gathered around.

Your e/c hair is tied with heavy kanzashi. Its intricate cane and tree designs of your lightly padded hem hikizuri kimono created weight that allowed your skirt to trail along the floor stood out of the crowd. Even the way your fingers softly held the fans while dancing along with the rhythms of shamisen made everyone watch in awe.

Like a goddess dancing under the moon.

Itachi let out a small smile. Feeling proud not because of people congratulating him for being the next clan head but rather your performance remarkably made him delighted. That you are his.

As the sound of shamisen slowly disappeared and did your last pose, clapping hands surrounds the area whilst you gracefully smile in front of everyone.

Itachi had a hard time leaving the banquet. Families giving him imperial Burma Jadeite feels endless. He was not on the seat as the head yet, and they're already making a ruckus about it. He thanks himself that his best friend, Shisui, helped maintain the situation.

He wants to go home and feel your warmth.

The raven-haired sighs as he opens the door. His eyes are landing yours who was preparing a tea. You gave him a sweet smile.

"Have some tea, tachi. You look tired." Itachi just let out a tired sigh, spooning himself on your chest as he smells your kimono.

"You look so beautiful tonight. You're like a goddess." He murmurs. The raven-haired man's well-defined face starts to trace your neck and jaw while his hands are going behind to loosen all the tight knots of the kimono.

During Obito's time being "Dead", Rin is consumed by grief and heartache. She weeps and mourns for Obito for days. Kakashi is filled with guilt for his friends death, and Minato is devastated and in protest against the Jedi Council from forbidding them to try and search for Obito's body, Minato leaves the Jedi order along with Kushina. The two were in love and had already planned to leave the jedi order. The two eventually marry and have a son: Naruto.

Kakashi becomes a workaholic throwing himself into his duties as a jedi as a penance. Whilst Rin becomes somewhat reclusive, she hides away and develops a strong aversion to violence and fighting. Focusing on her ability to heal and help others, she rarely uses her lightsaber any more in battle.

Rin in sheer desperation confesses he feelings to Kakashi to try and fill the hole left by Obito, but Kakashi tells her that he doesn't love her and that she doesn't love him. Kakashi's power has started to resemble Obito's a bit more, he is able to use certain darkside abilities, without ful turning to the dark side. And he now wields a purple lightsaber. Rin is regarded as the purest Jedi, and Kakashi is regarded as the most powerful jedi of their generation, but both hold great pain and grief in their hearts.

By this time, Naruto has joined the Jedi Temple along with Sasuke and Sakura. The three are wild cards and very free spirited, but very talented and powerful students.

And by now the stigma and complacency of the Jedi has become major source of ire for both Kakashi and Rin, both of whom distance themselves from the council as much as possible, even turning down the offer of joining the council. The two have even considered following Minato and leaving the Jedi Order. But the two stay in order to train and look after Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura.

Itachi and Shisui are Jedi too, and were close with their cousin Obito, Sasuke doesn't remember him but Itachi always tells him stories.

Eventually Sakura becomes Rin's apprentice and Naruto becomes Nagato's, whilst Sasuke becomes Kakashi's.

All the while Obito's power and darkness grows in the outer rim of the galaxy...
