Mozart: Coca Cola can remove rust from metal, imagine what it’s doing to your body.
Dazai: Pfff, getting rid of the rust, idiot.
Mozart: THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS!
Arthur: Hmm... I've been drinking soda and my body's rust free... not sure where you're getting your facts from...

Chat Errant [tied up to a chair like a hostage]: You know, I wouldn't really consider it a paraphilia, but I think there's something attractive about girls who haven't showered in a while. Something about being raised in an environment where hygiene was so strictly enforced that it was practically second nature; I think that's why a girl who kind of neglects that feels almost like a taboo, and it's kind of hot. When her hair is slick with grease and knotted up in all those tangles, her skin is oily and she's wearing clothes for the fifth day in a row, that's all what really gets me going, if you know what I mean.
Truth: I
Truth: I haven't even. What.
Chat Errant [not even paying attention]: I guess there's something kind of... animalistic about it too, y'know? Makes her seem kind of rugged, even wild in a way. That's also pretty attractive. I don't really get why it's not more sought after in women--Or maybe the fact that it isn't is why I find it hot in the first place? I'm not sure. And this isn't to say I find showering to be a turn-off, of course, that would be ridiculous. I just think girls who are a little on the grungier side deserve a little more [bites lip] appreciation, you know?
Truth [To Hawkmoth]: I fucking quit. I'm not listening to this guy anymore.

Many people first learn of [Paganism] through reading books, and most use books to guide their first steps on the [Pagan] path. Such books, if written in a clear manner by experienced [people], can be valuable learning tools […] Sometimes, however, reading more than a few books may lead to confusion. Authors may make contradictory statements regarding [Pagan] ritual practices and concepts. Some may deliberately obscure [Pagan] knowledge with mystic prose. The [new] Solitary […] grasping for answers, may only come up with with more questions […] Eventually, the books that originally inspired the Solitary […] may become a source of confusion and despair, and [they] may pack them away, deciding that no real learning can be achieved with them.
This is a shame, and can be avoided by keeping this concept in mind: Each book is a different teacher [and] Each teacher has distinct ideas concerning the subject being taught […] Each instructs [their] student in the basics [… and each …] teaches this subject in a different way, and expresses [their] biases, but they're all teaching [the same subject …] Experience and training have created specific ideals […] within each book's writer, and these ideals are clearly presented within [their] books.
Divergences of opinion are natural in experts in any field and shouldn't dismay those who are confronted by them [P] When you're challenged by seemingly contradictory information [regarding such religious instruction in books], examine this information and make a decision as to which to follow. Listen to your intuition.

ok i think. i THINK. i figured out the black garden. maybe ive just listened to too much friends at the table this year but i think its isolation/division/lack of connection with others. the black garden makes you think that you cannot possibly understand the others around you and then grows in the space that leaves. you know???

We were well educated, certainly. We had read widely. And there was no 'we,' of course, except in retrospect, since it's just an I, alone, who reads.
