She's only just started on her journey but it's. well it's pretty rough. Horrible headaches, urges to kill that they're disturbed by, no memory, threat of ceremorphosis. Fun times! Trying to be somewhat of a decent person to both appear not completely insane to their new companions and in an attempt to counteract their urges. But then the urges make them feel terrible for doing nice things.

☙ she/he ✧ 20s ✧ nephilim ✧ ☙ sometimes you gotta make a hotgirl and shes mine. literally! she has fire powers. an absolute icon. a member of the rebellion who works in both nursing and as a therapist. she is not actually qualified to be one but you kinda get what you get in a dystopia. can be a bit blunt, likes to joke around with people, but deeply loyal and cares a great deal about those close to her. ☙ she was also the affair child of a corrupt politician and found to be useful in covering up her half sister's powers so she grew up as a personal servant to her. until she found out, lashed out, ran away to the rebellion before she got herself killed, nearly died in the process. but she met thea and they managed to survive, get rescued, and make it there together. they've been friends ever since.

aldrakion: custom part-dragon species. was created in a series of supersoldier experiments, though only one successful subject capable of transforming into a full draconic form was ever created. and then immediately lost lmao. that's celeste! she had no idea about this for a while. the project and its perpetrators have been taken down and brought to justice, and the subjects freed. demon: a bit different flavor of demon than your traditional sort, it's a species with a wide amount of variety in forms, which are constructed by the individual once they reach maturity. they also can possess various sorts of powers, which vary based on the individual, but are rare. nephilim: the product of reproduction between a demon and a human. tend to possess humanoid forms, and cannot decide their appearance at maturity. however, they are more likely to have powers.

Ares: Are you ever protective of your f/o(s)? Are they ever protective of you? + Kiryu

oh boy........ well!!!! short answer: yes. long answer: i might be baby, but whenever someone hurts Kiryu, i can and will throw hands. Majima has taught me basic self defense, and let’s just say it comes in handy sometimes. As for Kiryu, oh god, he is always protective of me. If anybody so much as looks at me wrong, he glares directly at them and might even fight them off if they’re too persistent. Having been a Yakuza, he knows how nasty people can be, and he doesn’t want me to get hurt at all. He is just a protective himbo <3

Thalia: Discuss any fluff ideas you have for your ship. What kind of affectionate or sweet scenarios do you like best for this ship? + Axel

when it comes to Axel fluffs, i think i have way too many ideas and scenarios in my head alksdjf;laksfj ;w; but, my favorite ones to think about are:

Axel and I adopting Roxas and Xion, getting a little house in Twilight Town, and finding happiness in our found family

Axel and I sneaking into each other’s rooms in the Castle That Never Was just to cuddle! He prefers my room because my bed is much softer than his due to all of the blankets I convinced Xemnas and Saïx to let me have

Axel and I being assigned on missions together but totally not doing the mission because he’s too busy making me blush to fight off heartless

General kisses and caresses are also enough to make me blush just thinking about it uwaaaa ;w;

Hypnos: Do you like to sleep together or share a bed with your f/o(s)? If so, what position do you sleep in? Does anyone hog the blankets, or have a stuffed animal, or have nightmares and need the other for comfort? Anything else along those lines? + Terra

oh man, we sleep together like every night!!! mainly because we are both very clingy and like to know that the other person is safe. usually i lay my head on Terra’s chest and curl up to him, since he usually sleeps on his back ;w; though we sometimes spoon as well, with me usually being the little spoon, though there are rare occasions that i’m the big spoon! i think i actually hog the blankets more than he does ;w; i just get cold in the night sometimes,,, and i have like a million stuffed animals ;w; we both get nightmares, though he is much better at coping with them, so i’m usually the one that needs comfort,,, however even if he insists that he doesn’t, i comfort him anyway!!!

So finished tonight’s game of dnd and eeeee I’m so excited for it!

We already met Vivec during our session zero, essentially he’s the one trying to rally us all together but our meeting was very rocky to say the least!

Soleili’s method of hunting is laying down in and covering himself in snow with some food ontop of him. 80% of the time it works and he catches an animal like a rabbit when he feels it step on him. The other 20% is when he either falls asleep or a troll or wolf sneaks up on him. Yes he’s had a giant step on him once and the poor thing was very apologetic for squishing him.

But when Dra’nor tags along for hunts he lays in wait until Soleili springs up so he can catch the prey if it runs away.

Well cut to Soleili springing up out of the snow and tackling Vivec to the ground thinking he’s a deer and before either of them know what’s going on Dra’nor in a revenge fueled rage charges forward wanting to kill Vivec only to fail his dex save, trip over his own tail and smack face first into a rock.

After calming us down all be it it was easier for him to calm down Soleili than dra, he explained the situation and the time rift. How it was torn open and now everything’s wrong, the empire never invaded resdane and the tribunal are still in power, the snow elves and dwarves are still extinct but the dragons never got sent forward in time, the aldmeri dominion has taken full control over the empire because talos never got access to the heart of lorkhan, and slavery is still very much a problem in morrowind. All of this, and now there’s two Vivecs, the good one trying to atone for his short comings as a living god, and the current living god who stands by his decision to keep argonians and khajiit as slaves to keep his people happy. There’s a lot of fucked up things he did. But even worse news is bad Vivec wants good Vivec dead so it’s just a huge mess at the moment. But he told us where to find him if we want to take him up on his offer, Dra’nor pretty much ended the conversation by telling him to go fuck himself while ushering Soleili away back to their home.

Cut to tonight’s game and we ended up taking their offer as a group of aldmeri soldiers tracked down our cave after hearing about possible sightings of a non corrupted snow elf. And after a harrowing escape we found ourselves at a tavern in winterhold. Dra’nor was almost denied entry being a khajiit so I got my first charisma rolls in for the evening and the first dirty 20 of the game and after convincing the guards he was my body guard we got in and met Vivec and the rest of the group.

My cousins playing a dremora who ended up stuck on tambriel after the oblivion crisis and was named Leaf by an elderly woman who found him close to death because he kept trying to say “leave me alone” but could only get out the first part. He learned to care for mortals and spent the rest of her life caring for her, after she passed away he found himself left wandering for someone else to help. His role is cleric/fighter.

My friend who played the vestige in the last game is now a hagborn named the seer of the black wastes. Pretty much the son of a hagraven and usually a Breton reachman. We don’t know much about him except despite looking like a raven personified he really likes books and colourful glass. He likes the way the light hits soleilis eyes because they look “like ice, nature’s glass.” His role is a Druid.

My friend who played the nerevarine is a ridiculously smol argonian named Skipper. He apparently never got enough hist sap as a hatchling and just looks so damn smoool! He was born just before his village was ransacked by dark elves looking to kidnap more of his people to be slaves and upon seeing everyone being taken away he waddled out of the hist pools and after them not wanting to be left behind. He hid in a barrel and after the ship got caught in a storm he rolled overboard and washed up in windhelm where a fisherman took him in… If anything bad happens to him I swear to god I’m killing everyone and then myself! He’s taken to riding on Dra’nors shoulders 😭 I can just imagine only seeing his lil face through the mane! He’s an artificer and makes the most fucking adorable little gadgets! His weapon is a god damned sling shot!

My other friend is playing Vivec as I mentioned and his class vivec. The bitch can do anything, he’s a bard, a fighter, and a sorcerer albeit with some major handicaps to keep it fair!

And my girlfriends joining the table the next game as a student of vanus galerion, she had work tonight so couldn’t make it that and her decision to join was very last minute so she still needs to do her character sheet but eeeee I’m so excited to see her join!

But after getting acquainted with everyone and what’s going on we had our meals, got the room situation organised, all paid for by vivec. Soleili had a hot bath for the first time in his life he can remember but spent it with his ears covered by a towel because the number of Nord men trying to figure out what he was made him uncomfortable, that changed quickly when dra’nor emerged from the water looking like a wild Sabre cat with a tiny lizard on his head scaring them off.

And after a bath Soleili watched the local bard performing and asked if he could have a go at his lute. With a 19 I earned 10 septum’s that I then gave 5 of to the bard for letting me play and the other 5 to dra’nor because Soleili has no clue what money is. He also got hit on by the bar maid and was just so utterly clueless, to be fair though he was more so bewildered as to why the nords weren’t trying to kill him or put him in chains for just existing as half snow elf and if anything were being kind to him.

It ended with a cuddle puddle between Soleili, dra’nor, and skipper. A very short game but it was fun! I can’t wait for our next one! ~Bambi

i'll never do this again, but it's a professor of crimson, a deer left behind. can be read as a claudeleth fic for that extra Angst

i used to beta one of my friend's fics (dee if you're out there-) but i don't think that counts lol, so no i haven't. seems fun though!

what are your writing strengths?

i have no fucking clue. next question.

what are your writing weaknesses?

you might want to sit down, grab a pencil or something. my dialogue always seems very stilted, i'm not good at making scenes flow, characterisation is shitty, pacing jumps everywhere, too much repetition, i literally cannot focus on one wip for my Fucking Life.. there's more but i can't tag this as a long post anymore so. onto the next question!

what are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

i think it's very cool! i've read a few fics like that and it was super interesting. i might give it a go sometime, see if my private school education (they teach us fucking latin here send help) is paying off lol

what was the first fandom you ever wrote for?

i wrote for mha two (?) years ago.... on wattpad..... but we do not speak of those days. only One other person knows of that and they're not even on here anymore, and i deleted my wattpad account so you're never finding me out >:)

what's your favourite fic you've written this year?

i'm not really sure if this fits since it's a wip, but the dragon awaits is so much fun to write! dragonleth is Very Nice to write :) and as much as i bash it, i do have a special place for The Almyran Sun in my heart.... first multi-chapter i ever stuck with and actually completed lol

what other people want added to Minecraft: g u n s

what I want added to Minecraft

•Birds

-For multiple biomes, but mainly for the forests.

-Songbirds would add SO MUCH life to the otherwise quiet areas of the game

-Ravens and crows would be awesome and could use some of the parrot mimicking AI

-Cardinals in the snow biomes would bring a GORGEOUS pop of colour into the white atmosphere

-Seriously we need something to populate the sky, parrots do NOT fly like they should

-nests in trees, can find eggs in them

-doesn't really add a use but fun new feather types would be cool

•Owls

-technically still a bird but would go really well in covered rooftop forests and snow biomes

-we're already getting larger avians added in the form of vultures so why not more large birds?

•Mice and / or rats

-absolute precious babies

-sadly would go well with owls :(

-with cave update coming we need adorable rodents scurrying around

-lil bastards could make mouseholes inside of blocks

-will they be tameable? idk.

-adds the necessity for cheese

•Deer

-MOJANG this is a MUST, this is a NEED

-You literally have pigs, chickens, cows, and sheep spawning in forests what the fuck

-Deer with spotty baby fawns??? Yes

-Young bucks with different stages of antler growth? Yes

-Fawns frolicking in flower forests bc they feel safe

-Stripped wood appearing on trees where bucks scrape velvet off their antlers

-Being able to collect sets of antlers when they fall off periodically (would NOT be attainable by killing the deer, you have to wait for them to shed)

•Elk and Moose

-Same vein as deer

-Bigger, much bigger, neutral instead of passive, less shy

-Snowy biomes

-Better additions than fucking llamas tyvm

-Sidenote but savannahs could also really use some endangered deer-like species to help raise awareness for their status

•Squirrels

-Mojang plz

-Adds nuts to Minecraft ;)

-Black, grey, red, and mixed colour squirrels and breeding

-Brings life to forests like songbirds and deer

•Bears

-Mojang bby you literally already have a neutral bear in Minecraft why have you not reskinned it for grizzly/brown/black bears?

-Bear caves

-Hibernating mobs

-Brings more use to the beehives and bees, bears could be attracted to any area that has more than one bee hive with honey

•WOLVES AND DOGS

-They NEED the ocelots and cats update

-More wolf types (red, timber, snow, black, etc)

-Actual wolf packs (the AI would be difficult to program but the doges are worth it)

-Please let the howl at the moon, if foxes get to say ringdingding all night long wolves deserve to be allowed to howl

-More dog breeds (I know that there's no reason for domesticated dog breeds in Minecraft but ACTUALLY THERE IS)

-Hunting dogs like springers that can jump and run faster

-Foxhounds :D

-Most Important Goodest Boy: Herding dogs like collies and sheepdogs

-Herding dogs could be found in plains where cows and sheep spawn and create herds

-LET DOGS LAY DOWN FOR FUCKS SAKE

•Herding

-Instead of having to pen up and enclose your livestock you could form herds of cows and sheep

-Your Goodest Boi herding dog would protect them and move around with them when they graze

-Just soft peaceful minecraft tingz

•Salt licks

-Something SO SMALL but would make SO MUCH HAPPINESS

-Drawing new cows into your herd by putting up a salt lick

-I'm soft

-I guess salt would be a new ore???

•Bird feeders

-idk I think it would be cool

-excess seeds used for SOMETHING

•Raccoons

-The coolness of wolves, the chaos of foxes, the cunning of cats

-thumbs

-be gay do crimes

-can open chests (trigger trap chests to catch them?)

-Fantastic little shits

-Not tameable but will trust players like foxes do

•Snakes

-I know it's a lot to ask and it would be hard to make them look good

-But??? Imagine a tiny lil garter snake in your garden

-unlikely but would be so fantastic

•Rope

-climeable

-please Mojang we need this so badly

-imagine the ships? The bridges? The bell towers and everything?

-super easy to add, just reskin vines and add a string crafting recipie

•Butterflies and Moths

-Bflies could be a unique mob to flower forests and friends with bees

-if moobloom is added they would all be BEST BUDS

-get it "buds" ahahaha

-help with flower polination but just gives a TON of life to flower forests

-We literally have lanterns in minecraft why do we NOT have moths? Such a cool aesthetic addition.

-helps fill both the daytime and nighttime sky

•Hummingbirds

-fourth member of BEST BUDS

-just soft baby

-i love birbs okay

-the only avian who does not work for the bourgeoisie

•Fireflies

-10 million of them please

-they give great hugs

-adds so much atmosphere to the night world

•Cheese

-We have milk

-We have, presumably, goat milk

-Quit being cowards and add butter and cheese

-Butter churn job block for villagers

-V funny bc they have no arms to churn with?? Oh well

•Seashells

-Something decorative and beautiful that could 1) liven up beaches and 2) have snails and crabs inside!

-Mojang plz do not add sand dollars to the game people already don't know how to tell if they're still alive before trying to take them home

•Whales

-WHALES.

-Imagine something as massive as the ender dragon but peaceful. Allows you to stand on them (idk how but make it happen Jeb)

-WHALE SONGS.

-Being so deep and far out into the ocean, and when the moon is high in the sky and you're sitting in your boat, you just hear the beautiful melancholy sounds of the whales in the distance

•Jellyfish

-Idk if y'all know this but the glow squid is a bad idea

-Dream buddy you fucked up, please use your influence to get in contact with Mojang and have them redo the vote. People would have so much regained respect for you if you tried to fix your mistake.

-Also why does a speedrunner get to tell millions of people what mob would bring more life to Minecraft? He's only playing the game for 5 minutes smh

-Jellyfish could literally do everything the glow squid is going to and look better for it AND possibly be neutral instead of peaceful

-Not much to say but it would liven up the frozen water biomes a bit

-You already know why

-Gender doesn't exist in Minecraft but we all know penguins would be hella gay

-I think they would be cute

-Never going to happen since passive mobs are generally real life animals but it would be so cool

-they can hold hands

DISCLAIMER: I recognize that mobs are added to Minecraft to serve a purpose within the game and that many of these mobs would be better in mods and such, but I also feel like many of these suggestions would really bring so much more life to parts of the game that really need it. Even if they don't serve a huge purpose, they would still be really amazing additions imo.

Fandom: Dragon Age: Inquisition Rating: General Genre: Romance Pairing: Dorian/The Iron Bull Summary: Dorian is rescued by a mysterious Qunari during a trip to Seheron and years later runs into his rescuer again.

Halward pinched Dorian's shoulder.

"Don't doze off." Halward snapped, glancing down his nose at the boy.

Dorian bit back a sigh and straightened his back. The top of his head barely reached his father's shoulder. Halward's hand was slightly raised as a warning. At 14, he still had a child's height and a rounded face. His grandmother occasionally commented that he was due for one more growth spurt.

Halward thought that bringing Dorian along on a business trip might make him more engaged in his studies. Maybe if Dorian saw firsthand the efforts that the Magesterium made, he’d be more interested in one day taking Halward’s place.

It wasn’t going too well.

The man at the desk droned on and on, pointing to spots on his map. He was some sort of army captain, or general, or some title that sounded important. He may as well have been speaking another language. It was all words that Dorian recognized, but when he tried to pay attention, it didn’t string together into anything coherent.

The man moved a flag from one spot to another, and Halward's hand lowered as he leaned in. Dorian tried to follow suit. The flags were on a spot labeled "Southern Seheron Peninsula".

The man continued to talk about battle strategy and planning.

Dorian's eyes wandered towards the movement in the corner of his vision. There was a tear in the tent, and a bit of loose fabric was waving as a gust of wind picked up. Dorian shivered, and glanced back at his father, who was pouring over the map at this point.

He looked back at the tear. Surely the Imperium could afford tents that weren't torn to house a meeting with a Magister. Didn't the draft bother anybody else? As the wind died, a small cloud of smoke crawled into the tent.

He glanced back once more to ensure that his father was paying attention to the map, and tip toed closer to the tear. Lowering himself to all fours, he saw a pair of boots walk past, obscured by a milky-gray sheen.

It wasn't smoke. It was fog.

Thick fog.

Suddenly, a hulking gray figure tore through the tent, ripping it from its stakes and toppling the walls. The fog rushed to surround them, filling Dorian's surroundings with white and making his eyes water. He heard a fireball being cast - his father’s spell. Laying on the ground, he opened his mouth to call, "Father!" and fell immediately into a coughing fit.

Covering his mouth, Dorian made it to his feet and looked around to see almost nothing between the fog and his watering eyes. He could hear footsteps all around him, spells being flung, metal meeting metal.

He was encased in muscle and swept off his feet. In a flash, the fog that surrounded him was replaced by the bulk of arms and a torso. He looked up through reddened eyes. He was being held by a Qunari with broad horns, wearing a mask and goggles. The Qunari took one look at Dorian, and swore in qunlat.

"Vashedan. You're not -"

Suddenly, a second figure came up behind them, forcing the masked Qunari to duck and swivel, letting go of Dorian. Dorian stared in horror as the masked Qunari disappeared into the fog. Dorian tried to call, "Wait!" and was again overtaken by a coughing fit that brought him to his knees.

There was metal on metal, grunting, shouting, and one of the voices was distinctly that of the masked Qunari. A few seconds later, the Qunari again encased Dorian in his bulk, this time with a few streaks of blood on his chest and the axe sheathed at his back noticeably bloodied.

"Hey, you okay?" The Qunari asked, and Dorian could sense some form of comforting smile behind the mask.

"Cover your mouth. Do not talk. Keep your eyes closed." The Qunari said.

Dorian was lifted off the ground, cradled in the Qunari's arms as he was forced to make himself blind and mute. He concentrated hard on focusing on anything other than the battle around them. The warmth of the man who held him, the slightly metallic scent of his skin, the tightness of his muscles. In any other scenario, Dorian might have blushed.

The air around them grew cooler and less thick, and the Qunari shouted, "Hey!"

Dorian heard the sound of boots thumping on wood. A dock.

"Maker's breath!" Dorian recognized that voice. It was the first mate of the ship they'd rode in on. Dorian was gently placed on his feet, still frozen, and opened his eyes in time to see his rescuer disappear into the fog. The first mate put a hand on his shoulder.

"Hey easy, kid, you're safe now. We'll get word to your father that you're here and then we'll ship off."

Dorian's eyes were still glued to the spot where the masked Qunari had disappeared to. There was no reason for a Qunari to save a 'vint, and there probably never would be.

When Halward returned, they shared an embrace, and Dorian was still thinking about the man who'd rescued him.

To say that Dorian didn't think highly of Bull would be an understatement.

When they'd met, it was at the bar at Haven. He was enjoying a book he'd borrowed from Leliana over a glass of swill disguised as red wine when a massive hulk of a Qunari arrived. A bloody wild boar was slung over his back, and he was surrounded on every side by various companions that Dorian would soon know as the Chargers. They were hooting and hollering as Bull threw the boar onto the ground, making Dorian's wine glass rattle and swish its contents over the side.

He glared over his book with a curled lip as Bull loudly demanded that the boar be roasted and served to the bar patrons, which elicited loud cheers from everyone other than Dorian. When the feast began, Dorian kept to himself and watched in disgust as Bull loudly gulped and slurped fatty roast meat.

The next day, they traveled to Redcliffe, and the horseback ride there was made all the more intolerable when Bull brought some of his leftovers from the night before.

Dorian rode beside him, trapped in between two lines of Inquisition soldiers on the narrow road, trying to keep his eyes forward while he listened to Bull loudly finish off one of the boar's legs. Occasionally, Dorian flicked a crumb off his shoulder.

"Fasta vass, do you ever chew with your mouth closed?" Dorian snapped.

"Only when there's not a prissy 'vint judging how I eat breakfast." Bull replied, brandishing the bone like a wand.

Dorian rolled his eyes and spent the rest of the ride in tense silence. When they arrived in Redcliffe, he made himself scarce until it was time to ambush Alexius.

He knew Alexius would pull a desperate stunt to maintain power, but he wasn't expecting to be flung forward in time. The next time he was close to Bull would be with a set of bars between them. He gazed into the jail cell where Bull refused to meet his eyes.

As much as he didn't care for Bull, nobody the pain and suffering associated with red lyrium poisoning.

They had no words to exchange with one another. If all went well, Dorian would be able to go back and ensure this future would never happen.

In the courtyard, underneath a sky of green where the veil took over the sun and clouds, Dorian saw a demon's claws a moment too late to put up a shield. His braced himself, preparing for the worst, when he was encased in muscle and swept off his feet. Bull's arms cradled him and took the full force of the demon's claws against his back, just before it was put down by one of Leliana's arrows.

"Hey, you okay?" Bull asked, and Dorian could see a pained smile spread across his face. He was trying so hard to seem kind and calm, despite a wound at his back and the battle around them.

Dorian blushed. He could smell the slightly metalic scent of Bull's skin, could feel the tightness of his muscles, and was brought back to being 14 years old. Bull picked him up and carried him to safety, just as he'd done so many years prior.

There was no more room for exchanges after that. It all happened so quickly that Dorian was barely aware it had happened at all.

When they returned to the present, and Alexius was being carried away in chains, Dorian was left standing next to Bull while the Inquision soldiers filed out of the chantry.

He looked up.

Bull was digging something out of his ear with his pinky.

"Bull?" He asked.

"What? My ear itches. Got a problem with that now?"

"Can I buy you a drink?"

Bull froze like a cornered deer, blinked, and very slowly turned to give Dorian an incredulous look. He glanced the mage up and down, found no signs of trickery or sarcasm, and raised a single eyebrow.

"It’s not often someone manages to surprise me, ‘vint. If this is about some fade shit you saw back there, I don't wanna hear it." Bull grumbled.

"It's not. I promise."

"Alright. I’m not gonna turn down free booze."

Okay so Fire Emblem anon here!! Here's a Kinda Super Long Bc I Got Carried Away description of a few Fire Emblem games, plus some characters that seem like they hit tropes you like!

The good news is that there's not a super huge overarching timeline, there's several smaller timelines that are seperate from one another except for the crossover games. I'm gonna go with describing the newer ones that you're most likely to be able to get your hands on and play; a lot of people complain that they lean into some anime-tropey stuff and are too easy, but tbh, that's a perk just as often as it isn't. Basically, it's Game of Thrones, but rated T and with more cute girls and old men who are friendly instead of creepy.

Tbh, it's a turn-based strategy game with visual novel elements for characterization, if strategy games aren't your thing and you're just interested in the characters, watching the support conversations on Youtube might be more your thing. All the characterization, none of the resetting the same goshdang level thirty times. Anyways, description of the games in passing, including a brief description of the plot concept, pros and cons, trigger warnings, and some characters you might be interested in if you're just looking up characters.

Awakening: for the 3DS. Follows Robin, an amnesiac mage, after they're found in a field by a band of knights called the Shepherds. Involves the undead, a twink in a mask, timey-wimey shenangians, and the usual cast of oddballs you'd expect from a Fire Emblem game.

Pros of Awakening: customizable player character, intro of Casual mode (turns off permadeath) and the Pair Up system, which lets you put characters together for shipping reasons strategy and stat boosts. Also doubles as a shipping simulator, since you can pair off characters and meet their later in the game due to said timey-wimey shenangians.

Cons of Awakening: there are some....very concerning combos of names/skin tones/plot relevance for certain characters, so go in with a warning about implicit racism. Also if you like strategy games, this game is relatively easy to break and make "too easy," but tbh that's what Lunatic Mode (the Ultra Unfair Hard Mode) is for.

Trigger warnings across the main plot: underhanded politics, attempted assassinations, martyrdom, an optional character is implied to stalk Robin but idk how to tag that, identity crises, conflicts within a family, character who isn't you looks like you, backstory child abuse, an optional character is a bad portrayal of DID if you squint?

Fates: is actually a group name for two games set in the same universe, and a DLC bonus story: Birthright, Conquest, and Revelations. All for the 3DS. All three games star Corrin, a pacifist raised in seclusion in the kingdom of Nohr. Each game reflects a different path Corrin can take in navigating the war between the nations of Nohr and Hoshido: Birthright has them stand with Hoshido, Conquest with Nohr, and Revelations has them strike out (nearly) alone. Each path has a completely different storyline, cast of characters, and difficulty curve.

Pros of Fates: honestly, the characters here cater the most to the avid pro-shipper and multi-shipper. I just love this cast. Both Nohr and Hoshido have four members of the royal family you can play and get to know, each of those royal family members has two retainers who are various levels of dedicated and/or unhinged, and the cast just widens and widens. Also a character customization and shipping simulator point for the same reasons Awakening gets it. Also, canon fujoshi rights (there's a character with a skill called Daydream, which boosts her stats when two male characters are paired up near her. one of us, one of us). Also the first game with canon queer characters: both Rhajat and Niles are bi.

Cons of Fates: unfortunately, the writing is kinda rushed or badly translated in some places. Also *shakes IntSys* my lore! Give me more lore! Also, iirc, you could get both physical games in a bundle for a discount when they came out, but not anymore, so it's sorta like Pokemon with version exclusives. Which is less fun, since you can't directly trade characters. Also the fandom for this game is RIFE with discourse, which is kinda sad bc I just wanna talk my ships with ppl sjxhdjdn

Trigger warnings for Fates: child abuse might as well be Nohr's middle name, in-universe racism (since Hoshido is p obviously Japan-inspired, and a lot of Nohrians are rancid to Hoshidans), kidnapping, on-screen murder, lots of fighting your loved ones (on both main routes, you gotta fight the playable characters from the other side AAA), su-c-de, death of sibling(s) in certain routes, demonic-like possession, there's like six characters people can read as bad mental illness rep, Niles especially is discourse bait for being a kinky (yes that's canon) bi man of color but also he's awesome so die mad antis

Shadows of Valentia: for the 3DS. A remake of Gaiden, the second game in the series. Follows Alm, a farm boy from a small village in Zofia, and Celica, his childhood best friend. Zofia and the nation to its north, Rigel, are two nations ruled by the dragon gods Mila and Duma, respectively. Normally, they're in equilibrium, but Rigel is invading and Mila is missing, prompting Alm and Celica to independently investigate the problem.

Pros of SoV: the most like the old-school Fire Emblem games, but it also has the permadeath-off mode. also the first to be fully voice acted! The art style is gorgeous, and the plot was polished up from the old game--two characters names Berkut and Rinea were added, and they are PEAK OTP the diskhorse can die mad. Also the cast is pretty fun all around, from buddy squad and the older brother/dad figure they adopted along the way to "hello this is my gang of childhood friends, we're gonna kill a god" Also introduces Mila's Turnwheel, which lets you rewind your moves if you realize you goofed big time and screwed yourself over.

Cons of SoV: has the most references to other games, but you won't, like, be lost if you don't get them. You just might have a few interludes of "who tf is Camus/the White Wing Brigade/etc" but it's easy enough to look up on the wiki. Also tbh, the plot kinda drags in the middle, there's some filler battles to try and make it feel more realistic and it feels...weird. Also no custom character, you are Alm and Celica and you will Like It.

Trigger warnings for SoV: you know that thing where a girl character gets killed off for a guy character to angst over? the game starts with a fakeout version of that. also a character slowly goes mad over the course of the plot (but it's really well done imo?), there's some self-sacrifice stuff in there, classism is a major theme, possession/selling your soul™, there's a couple of levels where you're exploring tombs/prisons, I'm sure there's something else but I'm forgetting right now

Three Houses: on the Switch. The newest game in the series, and the most polished imo? Stars Byleth, a wandering mercenary turned teacher at the Officer's Academy. The Academy, housed in Garreg Mach Monastery, teaches youths from across the land of Fodlan how to be warriors, commanders, and knights. Students are sorted into three houses based on their country of origin: the Black Eagles are from ghe Adrestian Empire, led by the heiress-apparent Edelgard; the Blue Lions are from the kingdom of Faerghus, led by prince Dimitri; and the Golden Deer are from the Leicester Alliance, led by Claude, grandson of the Duke. You choose one of these houses to lead, and then everything quickly goes sour.

Pros of Three Houses: It's such a rich experience! The music is incredible, there's so much lore, and you can wander around the Monastery and hang out with the students to your heart's content. Also, it's four storylines for the price of one, even if they're all relatively similar in the first half. It does a pretty solid job of weaving together its themes into a satisfying narrative that will make you consider everyone involved. Also we got our first bi main lord (Edelgard) and non-white main lord (Claude is mixed race) in one fell swoop! Also, given the setting, it's teacher/student ship heaven.

Cons of Three Houses: just gonna come right out and say it: one of the villainous factions in the game is pretty substantially tied up with some anti-semitic tropes. There's no way to ignore it, it's just bleh, and I'm not gonna send anyone in without that warning. Also, though there's some characters you can persuade to switch sides, or spare, there's no route where there's a happy ending for everyone. Also there are so many people who are fake deep about the themes of the game, so be ready for the worst takes imaginable about your faves. also super trigger heavy, see below.

Trigger warnings: MANY. Garreg Mach and the Church of Seiros are very reminiscent of catholic religious stuff, for anyone with religion triggers, blood in cutscenes, death of a parent, death of a sibling (different characters), major gaslighting vibes in some places, lots of people going unhinged, some white savior™ vibes in places, body horror, creepy ass weaponry, backstory genoc-de (mostly not related to the anti-semitism), blood magic (definitely related to the anti-semitism), in general it goes to a lot more effort than the other games to make you think about what's Actually going on, even if it doesn't always work.

As for characters you'd like, if you just want to look some characters up, my recommendations based on what I understand about you include:

Awakening: Libra fits 'gnc man of the cloth' so well it's actually a conversation in game: "so what's a woman of the cloth doing here?" "...man, sir, man of the cloth." And Then He Never Gets Misgendered Again. Also Nowi's supports sometimes feel like a jab at antis-- she's a manakete, a person who can transform into a dragon. Manaketes also grow really slowly, as in "middle aged looking manaketes are like 1000 years old," so she's got major baby face and copes with being mistaken for a teenager by making jokes. Also Gregor, who she first appears with, is pretty fun--older mercenary with a thick accent who is like 80% here for a good time. Also Walhart, who's a villain but got some content added as DLC.

Fates: any interactions between Corrin, Leo, and/or Camilla are probably right up your alley--Camilla is obsessively protective over her siblings in a way that's Very Definitely Platonic™, and Leo also canonically has a crush on her in something that was cut in the English release. Also Gunther--once upon a time he was your classic knight in shining armor, now he's semi-retired, Corrin's personal guard, and covered in scars (and his voice is gorgeous too)

Echoes: my biased answer is to listen to every single line Ian Sinclair read for Berkut because he absolutely did NOT have to go that hard. My actual answer is to point you in the direction of the pegasus sisters Catria, Palla and Est, or maybe the older gentleman who's the head of the Priory, I forgot his name oops abbdbd. Also Clive is a devoted husband to one Mathilda, who looks just like an older version of his sister Clair 🤔

Three Houses: knowing you, you'd adore Hanneman--an older professor who's extremely passionate about his work, to the point where he tends to forget personal space and such. Also Seteth, like I mentioned before (join me in simping for him and his gorgeous pecs) and like, honestly, I know ppl make jokes about Alois but he's rlly good. Soft, awkward but he doesn't care, dad jokes everywhere. And also Mercedes, both because she's the biggest sweetheart imaginable and everyone should love her, but also bc she is just walking potential for the kinds of stuff you post on this blog. On one hand, she's the oldest student at the Academy and attached at the hip to one of the youngest, Annette (tho people act like they have a way bigger age gap then they actually do) and on the other hand, she has a long-lost half brother she can encounter (who I will not name for HUGE HUGE spoilers reasons) who she spends the rest of her life with in one of her endings. Heck, he has three possible endings total! Total!

Basically I brought the games up bc I'm used to being on the side of the fandom where everyone shoos anything uncomfortable under the rug, but there's so much material here that's being wasted I SWEAR

again though, I am really, really not a fan of anime and the anime artstyle in general (blergh! XP) so I´m not sure how I´ll cope with that in particular, but then again, an artstyle does not make a game! u3u

The 100 Ask Game

I was tagged by all these fabulous cuties @peraltiagosclarke @prophecy-gurl @mamabearsdontthink @thelittlefanpire and I adore them 💖

1. What Station on the Ark would you be from? Probably Arrow Station, because it sounds rad?? I don’t have many space applicable skills, because my maths is terrible and I can’t grow anything, and we don’t know what the Arrow Station people did, so I can say that they were the keepers of library and it could possibly be true. I would probably be an archivist or something.

2. What would you get arrested for on the Ark? Something similar to Clarke? I’m not really the illegal activies type, but I like to think I wouldn’t just sit aside while injustices happened, and if I’m an archivist, I’ve probably got access to lots of information about the Ark that people don’t want the general public to know.

3. Would you take off your wristband when you landed on the ground? Probably? But I’d probably have given it to Monty - don’t want to be skewered by the other delinquents, but I don’t want to be unhelpful and that’s a happy medium.

4. What would the necklace Finn would make for you look like? (Clarke: deer/Raven: a raven duh..) Maybe a book? Or a dragon. Either or 😅

5. If you could resurrect any MINOR character who would it be? WELLS MOTHAFUCKING JAHA. OBVIOUSLY.

6. Create a squad of 5 characters to go on missions with. Who are they? Clarke, Bellamy, Murphy, Monty and Raven (but if we’re counting season 6 Raven so far, then I change my answer to Emori)

7. What Grounder Clan would you belong to? Probably Podakru? I fucking love lakes man.

8. What would your name be in Trigedasleng? The same, probably? Tah-liss maybe???

9. Thoughts on Finn? Some people hate him, and others love him, so I’m curious. I think he’s a well-written character who served his purpose; we were supposed to love him in the start and grow to dislike who he became. His arc is one of the better written ones in the show.

10. Be honest. How willing would you have been to take the chip without knowing all the horrible things it does? Not very. Pain is how we know we’re alive. Living with depression, I know what it’s like to feel completely numb. Pain is better.

11. What character do you relate to most? Clarke/Bellamy/Murphy. All three of them, for varied and complex reasons, but in particular as of season 5, Clarke.

12. What character do you like the least? ............Echo. Because I don’t like badly written characters and it bums me out that she wasn’t written better when they made her a main.

13. Describe your delinquent outfit. (Would you wear something like Murphy’s jacket with the spikey red shoulder patch or have a trademark like Jasper’s goggles? Be creative, yet practical) Black jeans, Doc Martens, large loose v-cut shirt tied off at the side, fingerless gloves.

NOT INCLUDING CL OR BC OR BE Least favourite canon ship is Becho, but non-canon I feel it’s important to mention that I loathe JORDAN WITH OCTAVIA. Or, Jordan with anyone at the moment, really - let him learn to be a whole person before he gets a love interest, I’m begging you.

Favourite non-canon: Ice Jaha (Wells/Roan) or Wells and anyone really. I miss my soft son.

27. A song that should be included in the next season? If there had to be another guest star like Shawn Mendes on the show, who would you want to make a cameo? Any song by Faouzia would be fabulous, or Florence and the Machine. And if there was going to be a guest star I’d probably want a niche british actor that I love, like Andrew Scott or OH FUCK, Robert Sheehan would be AMAZING.

28. What would you do if you were stuck in the bunker with Murphy for all that time? Probably the same as Murphy - sing, go through everything, slowly devolve into depression and madness. Pull each other out of it by making bets about how long it would take blarke to get together.

29. You’re an extra that gets killed off. How do you die? Shot in the head, probably? That seems fast.

30. A character you’d like to learn more about and get flashbacks of? DIYOZA DIYOZA DIYOZA

31. A character you’d bang? Probably Murphy? He seems like he’d be fun. Or Monty because he’d be sweet. (listen, i wanna fuck clarke and bellamy as much as the next bisexual, but i am WAY more invested in them fucking each other, so)

32. Would you stay in the Bunker? Go up to Space? Or live on your own in Eden? Live on my own in Eden, because I, like Clarke, enjoy isolation as my main unhealthy coping mechanism.

33. In the Bunker, would you follow Octavia? What would you do to pass the time underground? Probably? Path of least resistance and all that. And I’d write, maybe document the events as well as writing stories.

34. What crime would you commit in the Bunker that lands you in the fighting pits? Writing something negative about Blodreina, I suppose;

35. Up in Space, who would you bond with first? Who would be the most difficult for you to get along with? I’d bond with Murphy first, we’d both isolate ourselves to one side of the ship to avoid the love-in. I’d probably never get on with Echo.

36. How long do you think you would last on Earth by yourself? Not sure. Depends how bad my depression is versus my anxiety.

37. When the Eligius ship lands what do you do? Run and hide, boys - run and hide. I’ve always been the sniper type more than the attack type: get the high ground.

38. Favorite Eligius character? Least favorite? Fave: MY GOOD BITCH DIYOZA.

Least fave: McCreary, that slimy fuck.

39. Would you Spacewalk? Maybe... depends on if my anxiety would kick in really hard. Probably not???

40. Would you prefer to eat Windshield Bugs, Space Algae, or Bunker Meat? Windshield bugs.

41. Would you start a war for the last spot of green on earth? What would your solution be to avoid it? I’d try to avoid war at all costs. I’d probably try and broker a way for the eligius people to help rebuild Polis, and then create a city there and have trade routes built between them - the farmers would move to the valley and the warriors and other types would stay in Polis.

42. Would you rather dig out flesh-eating worms or stick thumb drives into bullet holes? Dig out flesh-eating worms - that way I’m saving someone, not killing them.

43. Are you willing to poison your sister for the Traitor Who You Love? What would you do to stop Octavia? Depends how bad my sister was behaving - if it was Octavia bad?? Yeah, but I’d be Peak Bellamy Levels Of Stress about it. And I would honestly do my best to discredit her before I took any physical action - spreading dissent works, surprisingly well: look at politics.

44. Would you go to sleep in cryo or stay awake like Marper? Sleep? Depends who else was awake, but probably sleep.

45. Who are you waking up first to explore the new planet? Clarke and Bellamy, as Marper decreed, followed by Murphy, Emori, Raven, Shaw, Diyoza, Jackson, Miller, and probably even Echo, because every mission needs a redcoat and it shouldn’t have been Shaw.

The 100 Ask Game

I was tagged by the wonderful @thehundredtimesobsessed forever ago (or what feels like it, but I’m finally getting around to it today.

1. What Station on the Ark would you be from?

Probably Agro. My mom’s side of the family definitely has a green thumb.

2. What would you get arrested for on the Ark?

Umm...theft?

3. Would you take off your wristband when you landed on the ground?

No. No, I would not.

4. What would the Necklace Finn would make for you look like? (Clarke: deer/Raven: a raven duh…)

DRAGON! Dragons are my favorite. Followed by red pandas, but I feel like a dragon would be better (I already own a few dragon necklaces).

5. If you could resurrect any MINOR character who would it be?

Roan kom Azgeda - I miss him. <<< Same. Possibly Wells, but I became much more attached to Roan (probably because he had more episodes)

6. Create a squad by of 5 characters to go on missions with. Who are they?

Bellamy, Clarke, Raven, Monty, and Murphy. (This was basically pick your five favorite characters for me...)

7. What Grounder Clan would you belong to?

Podakru - the Lake People...I’m just going on that based on where I live, i.e. a place where there are lakes

8. What would your name be in Trigedasleng? (example: Octavia=Okteivia…just make it up!)

Shilbi, I think that’s what they’d do with it. I literally looked up to see if they even had a “sh” sound in their language; right when I was about to lose hope and resigning myself to “Silbi” or the like, I found a phrase with “sh”.

9. Thoughts on Finn? Some people hate him, and others love him, so I’m curious

I didn’t like him from the beginning. I didn’t hate him initially, but he got two people killed yet survived his own idiocy or taking off his seat belt. I thought he was going to be a detriment to their survival because he would take stupid unnecessary risks to show off.

10. Be honest. How willing would you have been to take the chip without knowing all the horrible things it does?

Probably not. My dad yells and me and my mom because we always need answers to motivations and the why of things. I don’t think I would put something in my body without fully knowing what it is and the ramifications of taking it.

11. What character do you relate to most?

I want to say Harper, but also some Clarke. In Harper, I see a lot of the traits I like about myself; in Clarke, I see a lot of the traits I don’t like about myself.

12. What character do you like the least?

This is difficult...I feel like it’s a cop out to say one of the villains of the show, but it’d probably be Cage Wallace. I don’t know who it’d be out of the people who are still alive.

13. Describe your delinquent outfit. (Would you wear something like Murphy’s jacket with the spikey red shoulder patch or have a trademark like Jasper’s goggles? Be creative, yet practical)

Charcoal grey jeans with a forest green v-neck t-shirt that has those criss-crossed strips of fabric, a dark brown leather jacket, and brown combat boots.

14. Favorite type of mutant animal?

...I don’t know...a mutant fox?

15. What would your job be on the Ark?

Probably like historian, archives, or teacher or something (based on my real life career path).

16. Would you have willingly pumped Ontari’s heart if Abby asked?

Yeah, I’d do what I have to. Probably would be admiring the ceiling as I did it, but I’d do it.

17. If Lexa wasn’t Heda, but she was still alive then who would have made the best commander?

I don’t know. I feel like it there was a more ruthless, battle ready heda, the 100 (and the rest of the Ark) would have been in a worse position.

Wait! An answer came to me when I was looking at question twenty: Lincoln! My friend and I liked to joke that Lincoln was one of the few characters with a head on his shoulders and realistic ideas and expectations for relations.

18. How would you act if you ate the hallucinogenic nuts like Jasper and Monty?

I’d probably just be giggling, at EVERYTHING.

19. How would you have dealt with Charlotte’s crime? A more John Murphy approach or Bellamy Blake approach?

Definitely a more Bellamy Blake approach.

20. Who should have been the Chancellor, if anyone?

Monty. Monty is another character who had a good head on his shoulders.

21. Would you have been on Pike’s side like Bellamy or on Kane’s side? Or Clarke in Polis?

Kane’s side. No question.

Maybe a kindle if they had that. They probably would have different books than the Ark had, or the grounders. Give me all the books.

23. What would your Grounder tattoos look like? Hairstyle? War paint?

Probably a couple tribal tattoos on my arms, maybe connecting with something spanning my shoulders and upper back. Definitely ALL the braids; I already wear braids in my hair a lot, but I think they would just get more intricate for the grounder style. Some nice, swirling black warpaint around my eyes when I have to go to battle.

24. Favorite quote?

For someone who regularly collects quotes (though usually from books), I don’t actually have one. But a quick internet search and choosing quickly, I’ll say a favorite is, “I say, screw fear. I’m telling my own damn story.” (Bellamy Blake, 1.13). It reminds me a little of my one of my favorite song lyrics, “I’m the hero of the story; don’t need to be saved,” from “Hero” by Regina Spektor, which is actually a pretty decent song for the show.

25. If all of the characters were in the Hunger Games, who would have the best shot at winning?

I’m gonna go with Clarke. She’s smart and tactical and she does what she has to do. But if it came down to a straight up fight, probably Luna; she’d have the knowledge to survive the land and the talent to survive the fight.

26. Least favorite ship? Favorite canon ship? Favorite non canon ship? NOT INCLUDING CL OR BC OR BE

Miller/Jackson - It just came out of nowhere, with no build up, and I like to see how things unfold, especially relationships, and so I’m being stubborn about them trying to tell me it’s a thing. Zaven - All I wanted was for Raven to finally find someone who could make her happy and show her what she could should have. So, yeah, I’m in denial and not the happiest person right now. (I haven’t even watched the new season yet--I know, I know, I’m a horrible fan, but I was sick and then busy catching up on life--and this is something that got spoiled for me even though I’ve been trying to avoid tumblr for a week; I blame Critical Role for encouraging me to go on Tumblr last Thursday) Minty - I found the ship in fanfiction and jumped on board quickly and happily.

27. A song that should be included in the next season? If there had to be another guest star like Shawn Mendes on the show, who would you want to make a cameo?

I’m going with the song that I actually used as a title to one of my fanfics, “Heathens” by Twenty One Pilots. (I also just am bad at knowing songs, so this I’ll stick with what I already know fits with the story)

Celebrities, another of my knowledge downfalls--seriously, if you ever want a guaranteed win in a trivia game against me, go with Pop Culture as the topic.

28. What would you do if you were stuck in the bunker with Murphy for all that time?

Play card games? Drink? There wasn’t a whole lot to do.

29. Your an extra that gets killed off. How do you die?

You wouldn’t actually see me die, I’d just be one of the bodies bloody and lying on the ground.

30. A character you’d like to learn more about and get flashbacks of?

I think it’s actually Echo and/or Emori, both would be best; I’m curious about everyday life on the ground before the timeline of the show.

31. A character you’d bang?

Can I say all of them? If I have to select someone I‘d choose Bellamy, Clarke, Raven, or Roan. Basically the same answer as Toni. Ooo, I’m adding Lincoln to the list, too.

32. Would you stay in the Bunker? Go up to Space? Or live on your own in Eden?

Assuming I could survive it (nightblood), Eden. I need my green and I don’t mind being alone, though I’d probably still talk to the radio or the animals or plants.

33. In the Bunker, would you follow Octavia? What would you do to pass the time underground?

Yup. I’m a follower. Read, draw, think up stories.

34. What crime would you commit in the Bunker that lands you in the fighting pits?

These questions keep asking me questions with the assumption that I am not Lawful Good down to my core. I have no idea what law/rule I would willfully break and what the circumstances would have to be for me to do it.

35. Up in Space, who would you bond with first? Who would be the most difficult for you to get along with?

Harper, no doubt about it. Probably more so Murphy wouldn’t get along with me. He’d catch me making a face at something he said, and I didn’t honestly mean anything by it, my face just reacts, and he’d hold a grudge against me for a while.

36. How long do you think you would last on Earth by yourself?

If I had survival skills (know what to eat, how to find it, etc.) probably a long time. If I tried it at this exact moment, not very long at all.

37. When the Eligius ship lands what do you do?

Run, hide, observe, freak out. I don’t know.

38. Favorite Eligius character? Least favorite?

Shaw. (Why must all the good ones go?) Vinson, he was creepy AF.

39. Would you Spacewalk?

Assuming I could do it when it wasn’t illegal, yeah!

40. Would you prefer to eat Windshield Bugs, Space Algae, or Bunker Meat?

Windshield bugs. I was about to say Space Algae, but then I thought about the texture it’d be, and I’m pretty sure it’d be the texture that makes me gag when I try to eat it.

Yeah no, I don’t want to go to war. I would try to work out a way to share it.

I think I’d stick a thumb drive into a bullet hole. The first is turning my stomach to think about, but somehow the second isn’t doing the same.

Gut reaction against it, but that’s because I love my sister and she’s the sweetest. But if she did what Octavia did and had that personality, probably, as long as I knew she wouldn’t be killed by it. What they did seemed to work...?

Sleep in cryo.

45. Who are you waking up first to explore the new planet?

Clarke and Bellamy, Raven and Shaw, Murphy and Miller. <<Same, probably Emori too, she’s resourceful.

Probably not, although once it came to “take off the wristband or no food” thing, I mean... I’m hungry.

I genuinely liked him in early s1, but once the whole cheating thing started I just...couldn’t take him anymore. Then I felt sorry for him in s2 but not enough to care about his fate tbh. I was more sad for Raven than for him.

Yeah no. I am a naturally cautious person and someone telling me “this will take away all your pain” would make me go “yeah right”

11. What character do you relate to the most?

Bellamy for the protective older sibling vibes, Monty for the “let’s all just get along” vibes

12. What character do you like the least?

Right now, of the living characters, probably Kane and Abby. I just... don’t get how they can look at their situation in the Bunker and continue to put all the blame on Octavia

Hmmm I have the worst fashion sense but let’s see. Probably jeans and hiker boots, and a graphic tee with some kind of jacket over it. Maybe some fleece involved in the jacket. Trademark item would be a headband like Harper’s and braids... like Harper’s.

Definitely a teacher

If I was a teacher, I could see myself accidently sharing a detail that I’m “not supposed to teach about” and that being the thing

Bond with Harper definitely, Murphy would be a bit difficult because I don’t do well with abrasive people

8. Thoughts on Finn? Some people hate him, and others love him, so I’m curious You fuck with my girls, you fuck with me, you mass-murdering prick.

9. Be honest. How willing would you have been to take the chip without knowing all the horrible things it does? It’s possible, but very unlikely. I would naturally be skeptical of anything promising a happy, painless existence. And chipped!Jaha gives me the creeps, so I would have to be in a REALLY shitty place to even consider it.

10. What character do you relate to most & What character do you like the least not including the obvious ones like Pike, etc….I think I relate most to Harper, and the character I like the least is Echo. Sorry! I’m hoping Season 5 gives me more of a reason to care about her just before they kill her off, per usual.

11. Describe your delinquent outfit. (Would you wear something like Murphy’s jacket with the spikey red shoulder patch or have a trademark like Jasper’s goggles? Be creative, yet practical) I’m definitely in a hoodie of some kind. Black boots, black jeans, and maybe some small pearl earrings. As a trademark weird accessory in the harsh, post-apocalyptic world of The 100.

12. Favorite type of mutant animal? Hahaha, the Pauna.

13. What would your job be on the Ark? Some kind of teacher, maybe?

14. Would you have willingly pumped Ontari’s heart if Abby asked? Hopefully.

15. If Lexa wasn’t Heda, but she’s still alive right? then who would make the best commander? Hmmm. If we’re looking at potential leaders following the rules of the Grounder religion, then maybe Luna? It would have to be a natblida, right? But if we’re looking at things post-Lexa, post-conclave, I’d have to go with either Abby, Kane, or some type of co-leadership between the two of them.

16. If you were a grounder, then where would you live and who would be your mentor? I’d be Floukru, and my mentor would be Luna.

17. How would you act if you ate the hallucinogenic nuts like Jasper and Monty? Depends on how much trauma I was dealing with, I guess. But I picture myself acting more like Monty. I CAN’T CHANGE THE TIDES IF THE MOON WON’T COOPERATE - IT’S BASIC PHYSICS!

18. How would you have dealt with Charlotte’s crime? A more John Murphy approach or Bellamy Blake? These poor traumatized babies, they all need fucktons of therapy. With a situation like that, I’d have tended towards leniency. But I’d also have been on Bellamy’s side when Clarke wanted to pin the murder on Murphy, so hopefully we could have convinced her to come at things from a more logical perspective. Then, maybe Murphy wouldn’t have felt the need for revenge against Charlotte.

19. Who should be the Chancellor, if anyone? Either Kane, Abby or a co-chancellorship with both of them.

20. Mount Weather had a lot of modern commodities. (example: Maya’s Ipod)What is the one thing you would snatch while there? Probably the iPod. Music is life.

21. Do you think you’d have caught the virus spread through camp or would you have been immune like Octavia? Based on past experiences, I probably would have been one of the first ones sick.

22. What would your grounder tattoos look like? Hairstyle? War paint? Assuming I was in a clan that did that sort of thing, I’d have one big long braid. Something like this:

My war paint would probably imitate the landscape - kind of like camo (if the materials were available. If not, I’d just use black soot around my eyes because who gives a shit what you look like when you’re going to war).

If I had tattoos, they’d be words, not random “tribal” designs somebody found on Google (looking at you, CW). Words that meant something to me. Poems, lyrics, important phrases, names. My skin would be a story.

23. Favorite quote? Life is about more than just surviving OR Maybe there are no good guys. Both are pretty iconic.

24. Can you forgive Murphy for his actions? How about Bellamy? It’s less about forgiving them and more about accepting the characters for the multidimensional creations they are. All of the characters on this show are portrayed as morally gray - so it’s not about “forgiving” them for their transgressions, it’s about understanding their motivations, the contexts of their actions, and accepting their complexities. It’s why I love this show.

25. If one of the characters was in the Hunger Games, who would have the best shot at winning? NOOOOO ALREADY SO MUCH DEATH NOOOO Well damn, I don’t know. I think the environment plays a big role in the outcome, so it would really depend. I’d lean towards Bellamy, but I don’t actually know if he’d want to win.

26. Least favorite ship? Favorite ship? NOT INCLUDING CLEXA OR BELLARKE Within those parameters, I’d say my least favorite is Flarke, and my favorite ship is Princess Mechanic.

27. A song that should be included in the next season, like when Radioactive was? If there had to be another guest star like Shawn Mendes on the show, who would you want to make a cameo? I have no idea about the song, but I dig Imagine Dragons - if they could somehow work another one of their songs in there, I’d be okay with that. And if I could have a famous guest star...does it have to be a musical guest star, like Shawn? If yes, then I pick Taylor Momsen. If it doesn’t, I pick Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

28. What would you do if you were stuck in the bunker with Murphy for all that time? Drink. And cry, probably.

29.Opinion on Emori? Roan? Like them both. Excited to see where season 5 takes Emori’s character, especially knowing she’s hanging out with Spacekru. And I liked Roan’s sass, I’m going to miss Zach McGowan. And his abs.

30. Would you want to be an extra that is killed off in a brutal way? Sure, why not.

31. A character you’d like to learn more about and get flashbacks of? Tie between Harper & Miller.

32. A character you’d bang? Yes.

here, have an endgame wank

Alright, for starters this blog is not really run by me (Lizzie/ @theonbaejoys) so much anymore. I think there’s 5 mods and I’ve taken a step back from reading any meta the past month or so. I’ve become more interested in other ships and have been writing fanfic for them, which if you follow me you will have noticed! (And potentially unfollowed me for haha). But though I have been tagging my Jon posts as #fuckboy in the north, Jon has always been my favourite ASOIAF character and probably always will be. And though I am not as interested in jonsa as I once was, I still believe it’s happening.

I have a lot of faith that Jon and Sansa are ~*~endgame~*~. But I don’t need any undercover lover theories, and neither do you. In fact, ultimately I think they’re a waste of time that have just lead to more and more drama, within and outside the jonxsansa fandom. I don’t have a problem with people theorizing about ~*~undercover Jon~*~*~ and I do not think it’s rape by deception ( goodqueenalys did a better job summing that up than I ever will, I also would never try). Honestly, there’s no way to predict the show because GoT is no longer logical and gaping plot holes exist in every single plot.

In my opinion, Jon and Sansa ending up together and ruling the north and rebuilding Winterfell -- whether for love or for politics, or potentially both -- is simply the most logical narrative choice for Jon and Sansa’s character arcs. If you believe the Iron Throne will be melted down and the North will become independent, as I do, then someone must rule the North. If you believe the Starks endure (they always do!), then somebody must have Stark babies.

George originally intended Jon to end up with A*ya. But A*ya is no longer original outline A*ya -- her arc has been given to Meera, Sansa and Jeyne Poole. OG A*ya was a bit like Lyanna Stark, but the A*ya we know has become an entirely different person. George is a “gardener”:

you discover an awful lot along the way. Characters rise up and seem more important, and you get to what you’d thought was going to be a big turning point and… the thing you’d thought about two years ago doesn’t really work as well, so you have a better idea!

By ASOS, George had changed a lot of his original plan, though the broad strokes of endgame (how the others were defeated, Jon dying and being released from his vows, stuff like that) have remained fairly constant. He also wanted a 5-year gap after ASOS but ultimately decided against it. The final two chapters of ASOS are Jon and Sansa chapters (excluding the epilogue, which is about the rise of Lady Stoneheart). It’s important that these two chapters were chosen to end the story before the five year gap because of the both the symbolism and foreshadowing in each, but also because these two chapters are in conversation with one another.

1. The Aemon foreshadowing that has been discussed 500x

Every morning they had trained together, since they were big enough to walk; Snow and Stark, spinning and slashing about the wards of Winterfell, shouting and laughing, sometimes crying when there was no one else to see. They were not little boys when they fought, but knights and mighty heroes.

"I'm Prince Aemon the Dragonknight," Jon would call out, and Robb would shout back, "Well, I'm Florian the Fool." Or Robb would say, "I'm the Young Dragon," and Jon would reply, "I'm Ser Ryam Redwyne."That morning he called it first. "I'm Lord of Winterfell!" he cried, as he had a hundred times before. Only this time, this time, Robb had answered, "You can't be Lord of Winterfell, you're bastard-born. My lady mother says you can't ever be the Lord of Winterfell."

In the end Halder and Horse had to pull him away from Iron Emmett, one man on either arm. The ranger sat on the ground dazed, his shield half in splinters, the visor of his helm knocked askew, and his sword six yards away. "Jon, enough," Halder was shouting, "he's down, you disarmed him. Enough!"

No. Not enough. Never enough. Jon let his sword drop. "I'm sorry," he muttered. "Emmett, are you hurt?"

This trio of Aemon, Ryam Redwyne and Florian the Fool is the same trio in Sansa’s chapters:

There are gods, she told herself, and there are true knights too. All the stories can't be lies. [...]

She shouted for Ser Dontos, for her brothers, for her dead father and her dead wolf, for gallant Ser Loras who had given her a red rose once, but none of them came. She called for the heroes from the songs, for Florian and Ser Ryam Redwyne and Prince Aemon the Dragonknight, but no one heard.

Aemon specifically, who Jon is associated with the most (Maester Aemon, literally calling himself Aemon, etc) is also the one who comes up time and time again in Sansa’s chapters. Here’s a few notable examples:

"Sweet one," her father said gently, "listen to me. When you're old enough, I will make you a match with a high lord who's worthy of you, someone brave and gentle and strong. This match with Joffrey was a terrible mistake. That boy is no Prince Aemon, you must believe me."

"True knights." The queen seemed to find that wonderfully amusing. "No doubt you're right. So why don't you just eat your broth like a good girl and wait for Symeon Star-Eyes and Prince Aemon the Dragonknight to come rescue you, sweetling. I'm sure it won't be very long now."

"I shouldn't think so." Margaery smiled confidently. "It's brave of you to warn me, but you need not fear. Joff's spoiled and vain and I don't doubt that he's as cruel as you say, but Father forced him to name Loras to his Kingsguard before he would agree to the match. I shall have the finest knight in the Seven Kingdoms protecting me night and day, as Prince Aemon protected Naerys.”

2. The biggest question vexing Jon is whether or not he should become Lord of Winterfell, marry Val and restore the castle.

The entire chapter is Jon’s emotional journey of knowing he wants Winterfell -- that he has always wanted it -- and denying himself the opportunity to have (almost) everything he wants.

Why am I so angry? he asked himself, but he was a stupid question. Lord of Winterfell. I could be Lord of winterfell. My father’s heir.

Winterfell, he thought, Theon left it burned and broken, but I could restore it. Surely his father would have wanted that, and Robb as well. They would never have wanted the castle left in ruins.

He wanted it, Jon knew then. He wanted it as much as he had ever wanted anything. I have always wanted it, he thought, guiltily. May the gods forgive me. It was a hunger inside him, sharp as a dragonglass blade. A hunger . . . he could feel it. It was food he needed, prey, a red deer that stank of fear or a great elk proud and defiant. He needed to kill and fill his belly with fresh meat and hot dark blood. His mouth began to water with the thought.

It was a long moment before he understood what was happening. When he did, he bolted to his feet. "Ghost?" He turned toward the wood, and there he came, padding silently out of the green dusk, the breath coming warm and white from his open jaws. [...] "I thought you'd died on me, like Robb and Ygritte and all the rest. I've had no sense of you, not since I climbed the Wall, not even in dreams."

Of note here first is that as he wants Winterfell, and he makes this decision, Ghost suddenly appears when he was once lost. Ghost helps Jon make the decision. Jon associates Ghost with Robb and the other Stark children and seeing Ghost again is what makes Jon’s decision for him. Nostalgia and loss is a theme in Sansa’s chapter as well, she hungers for the old days, she remembers snowflakes melting in Robb’s hair.

Most importantly -- Jon wants to rebuild Winterfell. But decides not to do it with Val, not in a way that would damage the weirwood or the old gods. In the very next chapter, Sansa rebuilds Winterfell out of snow. If that ain’t foreshadowing I don’t know what is. And...

My lord husband, Sansa thought, as she contemplated the ruins of Winterfell. The snow had stopped, and it was colder than before.

It’s subtle, but it’s there.

3. Winterfell belongs to the Old Gods, Winterfell belongs to my sister Sansa.

When Jon closed his eyes he saw the heart tree, with its pale limbs, red leaves and solemn face. The weirwood was the heart of Winterfell, Lord Eddard always said... but to save the castle Jon would have to tear that heart up by its ancient roots, and feed it to the red woman’s hungry fire god. I have no right, he thought. Winterfell belongs to the old gods.

Jon does not have the moral authority to sacrifice the weirwood, because Winterfell belongs to the old gods. The weirwood -- the heart tree, the symbolic old gods -- looks an awful lot like Sansa. Pale, with red leaves and a solemn face. It’s interesting, because when Jon denies his right to Winterfell, he thinks first that it belongs to the Old Gods, but he says later to Stannis that it belongs to Sansa.

In ADWD:

"By right Winterfell should go to my sister Sansa."

Jon said, "Winterfell belongs to my sister Sansa."

This theme of no weirwood tree is explored in Sansa’s chapter too:

It was the old days she hungered for. Prayed for. But who could she pray to? The garden had ben meant for a godswood once, she knew, but the soil was too thin and stony for a weirwood to take root. A godswood without gods, as empty as me.

And then there’s all other endgame foreshadowing in Sansa’s chapter, the final ASOS chapter, which I have already discussed in more detail here.

There is more I could discuss, and if you read over the Jon and Sansa chapters in question I’m sure you’ll see it too. I don’t feel like having debates. The show is almost impossible to predict because we can’t tell if stuff that’s OOC or weird is something we’re supposed to notice or just bad writing/acting. Could go either way, the LF murder plot was super stupid. Either way, we won’t know for aaaagggeeesss. Hints in the books are infinitely more interesting to me. This choice to end ASOS with Jon and Sansa, and to have the chapters be so similar and interact with one another, is very telling.

Anyway the point of this post was just: I think it’s endgame, I have no worries, and I don’t think you should either. Analyzing microexpressions could lead somewhere, but different people seem to see different things when they watch film, whereas literary analysis is slightly less subjective.

“I’m so booooored,” Emmett groaned, flopping face first onto the couch across from Riley. The younger vampire snickered as Emmett turned onto his back and pouted, folding his arms across his chest. “I don’t get why you couldn’t go into town, and why I have to babysit you. I mean, I guess it would be lonely without somebody here, but this is driving me insane!” Emmett got up off the couch again. The rest of the Cullen family had gone into town to start getting some things for Edward and Bella’s wedding. She wasn’t getting married until August, but Alice had insisted they look for a dress and shoes at least so that all the good ones wouldn’t end up being gone. Edward wanted to get some more CDs. and Jasper had heard of a new book he wanted to read. Carlisle and Esme went to supervise. Riley had wanted to go, just to get out of the house and the woods, but the entire family said no except for Emmett. So Emmett was put on, as Jasper jokingly comment, “babysitting duty”.

“Why don’t we do something, then?” Riley suggested it, leaning back against the couch and smirking a bit. Emmett raised an eyebrow at him and turned hands clasped behind his back. “After all, Esme and Carlisle said we couldn’t go into town. They didn’t say that we couldn’t leave the house,” he pointed out. Emmett’s face split into a grin.

“Oh dude, yes! Come on, I want to show you something!” Emmett grabbed Riley’s wrist to pull him off the couch, and then the two of them took off running into the woods. Of course, before the fun had even really started, the run had turned into a competition. Riley’s legs practically flew under him as he whipped through the forest, laughing freely as the wind rippled through his hair. Even though his heart was no longer beating and his skin was hard as stone, Riley felt alive.

Emmett ran at his side, keeping perfect place, and Riley grinned at him, waving. Emmett snorted but waved back, a grin equally as wide on his face. He led Riley down a beaten path leading downwards and deep into the woods. Riley could hear running water. The green seemed to grow even brighter and sharper around the two of them. A stream ran deep through the ground at Riley’s side, and he wanted to stop and take a look, but Emmett wasn’t finished. They ran and ran, ever growing tired, until Emmett finally came to a stop. They’d reached the edge of a small ridge, which dropped down into a small clearing. Riley was about to ask what they were doing there, when he actually looked down. His mouth fell open in shock and awe.

“It’s so beautiful,” Riley murmured, taking a step closer to the edge. The stream they’d been passing had turned out to be a large creek and poured water over a small waterfall into a large pool, which collected in a rough circular pool that ran out on the opposite end into several other pools and deep areas and frothy rapids. The edges of each pool were surrounded by wildflowers. In fact, the entire ground in the surrounding area was covered in a blanket out flowers. Riley, funnily enough, recalled a movie that he’d watched as a kid about a small deer. The scene reminded him of when the creature met his friend, a skunk.

“I do too. Rosalie and I found it a few days ago while we were out hunting,” Emmett said. He started taking his shirt off and Riley started, staring at him in confusion.

“What- What are you doing?” Riley spluttered, utterly confused and somewhat scared. Why was Emmett stripping in the forest…?

“Going swimming. Obviously. You should too!” Emmett said excitedly, shedding his pants and undershirt next. Thankfully, he had the decency to keep his boxers on and he let out a loud whoop, leaping over the edge of the waterfall and plunging down into the pool below. The water was so crystal clear that Riley was able to see Emmett sink to the bottom of the pool. The green, which Riley had assumed to be the color of the water, turned out to be a reflection of the trees above, and the moss growing on the rocks inside the pool. Emmett burst back up to the surface, shaking his hair like a wet dog and laughing. “Come on Riley! It’s great, I swear!” Riley hesitated a moment, plucking slightly at his shirt. He slowly took it off, revealing the numerous scars he had obtained from training newborns, and some of Victoria’s more intense punishments. He expected Emmett to freak out, or be disgusted, but the older vampire just looked up at Riley with an expectant grin on his face. Riley’s chest swelled with an unfamiliar, but very pleasant feeling, and his eagerness was so much that he tripped and fell trying to get out of his jeans. Emmett let out a bellowing laugh, so Riley aimed directly at his head as he jumped down into the pool.

Riley sank to the bottom. He looked around him, watching tiny fish flit in and out around the water, and tadpoles half formed and newly born swimming, their little tails wiggling frantically. The moss on the rocks swayed slightly as the water above and around them rushed and swirled in an ongoing, natural pattern. Riley looked above him, amazed as the sunlight filtered through the trees and down into the water, casting an almost yellow glow below the surface. His feet sank into the warm mud at the bottom of the pool. He stayed there for a moment, allowing his stone body to remain there. Riley liked it here. He would come back. Riley kicked off the bottom of the natural pool and swam back up to Emmett, shaking his hair just as the other had and laughing.

“It’s beautiful down there, did you look?” Riley said, unable to keep the excitement out of his tone. Emmett smiled and nodded.

“Yeah, I did. It’s cool down there, an entire ecosystem thriving right under our noses,” Emmett said with a thoughtful hum. He floated on his back, looking up at the canopy of trees. His skin glinted in the sunlight. Riley glanced at him and then looked over his shoulder nervously. He knew it was stupid to be afraid of someone finding them, the forests were massive, It was just in his nature, he supposed. He started floating too, moving his arms and legs ever so slightly to stay above the water.

“Why’d you bring me here?” Riley asked after a moment of silence. Emmett let out a small sigh.

“As a thank you. For helping Rosalie yesterday,” Emmett replied, turning himself upright again in the water to look at Riley properly. Riley did it as well, for manners sake. He shied away with embarrassment, and had he been human his cheeks would have been flushed a brilliant red.

“You don’t have to thank me, Emmett. She helped me anyways, I didn’t really do anything,” Riley confessed. Emmett smiled and shook his head.

“No, you definitely helped her. It’s been a long, long time since she’s told anybody what happened to her, and she always swore to me that no one outside of the family would ever know. But you...you’ve turned our world upside down, Riley,” Emmett finished with a laugh, the way his smile reached his eyes putting Riley at ease almost as well as Jasper’s emotion manipulation. “When she came downstairs after she talked to you…” Emmett’s voice trailed off for a moment. “...it was like a completely different person had come down the stairs. She didn’t say anything, but she didn’t have to. She was smiling a lot, like a lot a lot. It was great,” the older vampire said, turning and grinning at RIley again.

“I’m…I’m glad,” Riley said softly. “She’s a good person.” Emmett chuckled.

“It’s about time somebody besides me realized that. Now come on, let’s swim!” Emmett clapped Riley on the back and dove under the water, swimming through the rough current of the creek and into the second pool. Riley followed close behind, feeling much less out of place than he did before. They swam for hours. They had races, splashed each other in the face, you know, the usual antics that young men in their late teens to twenties will get into (even if the twenty year old had been twenty for almost one hundred years). Riley hadn’t wanted to leave, but the sun was going down quickly and Emmett knew that Esme would want them back home to help unload anything they bought and spend some time with Bella before she had to go home.

“There you are! You two look like you had some fun today,” Carlisle commented as the two vampires came running up to the house, hair still soaking wet and their clothes sticking to their wet skin. “Now that you’re home, though, we could use your help. Alice went a little shop-happy…there’s a lot to bring in,” he continued. Emmett groaned in complaint, but Riley obediently went out to the driveway, where Edward’s Volvo XC60 was currently being unloaded of all of its merchandise.

“Just put it in my room love, I’ll take care of it after it’s all brought upstairs,” Alice said to Jasper, who was carrying a large box filled with assorted decorations. The couple shared a quick kiss before Jasper zipped into the house, returning a moment later to take two other boxes and repeating the process. Edward was bringing some things down to the basement. “Riley! Emmett! How was swimming?” Alice asked the two of them as they appeared.

“It was a of fun, Emmett’s a cool person to hang out with,” Riley said, taking a box out of the trunk of the car. “Where would you like this one, Alice?” he asked. Alice smiled at Riley’s previous comment, then perked up when he asked her about the box.

“Just follow Jasper up to my room, he’ll show you!” Alice said. Jasper’s head popped up at the mention of his name, and when his eyes fell on Riley, the younger vampire shivered. Jasper glanced at the singular box in Riley’s hands and quickly added a second box to his own pile. He gestured with his head for RIley to follow him, running up to Alice’s bedroom. Riley did his best to keep up, but he had to poke his head in a room or two before finally finding the one Jasper was in. Jasper watched Riley as he set his box down, and the uncomfortable tension in the air was sharp enough to cut with a knife. Jasper regarded Riley for a moment, who looked at him nervously and rubbed his hands on his pants before putting them in his pockets.

“Come on, we still have more boxes,” Jasper muttered after the drawn out, awkward silence. Riley let out a sigh of relief and followed Jasper back outside. He certainly was a strange one.
