We use translating programs for many reasons at the library. One of my favorite reasons is to answer the question, “What a weird book cover … I wonder what it’s about?”

Sometimes the answer isn’t as helpful as you’d like, though. I mean, IN THE COUNTRY UNLEARNED LESSONS still leaves me confused.

Digging a little deeper, I find the listing in our catalog, and the description makes at least a little more sense:

Victor, a young schoolboy, doesn't want to spend time in class -- he wants adventure. One day, his wish comes true: he is sent to the Land of Unlearned Lessons, where he runs the risk of being trapped forever unless he learns from the mistakes he made in his previous lessons.
