The Adventures of Mercy: Part 1

So I met my boyfriend about 3 years ago. It wasn’t a traditional meeting but you know. I covered that in a previous post.

So it should have been obvious from the beginning that I liked him like a lot, but I’m kind of oblivious to my own emotions. So I’m like wow what a good buddy.

I say this because apparently about 3 days after I met him I invited him on a hiking trip because that’s what you do with someone you met 3 days ago apparently. I should also mention I’m not an outgoing person. And although i have become less like this now was an extremely socially anxious person. So I feel like the fact that I felt like I had to talk to him and invite him on a fairly large trip should have clued me in, and him for that matter. I’m saying this now…it did not.

I’ll cover the entire hike in a different post . Right now I’m going to cover some background.

I would also like to mention that our whole relationship was built on a bunch of almost meetings that we didn’t actually realize until we actually started dating.

Our first meeting goes all the way back to our preschool years where we both have vague memories of reading together in the corner. Of course we didn’t speak to each other because that would just be crazy.

The next meeting would officially happen tell middle school where I sat at his table at lunch with his group of friends and somehow didn’t notice. Actually I know exactly why I didn’t notice. I was way to busy reading.

There were a bunch of other small coincidences that occurred between those times, but the official meeting will always be my famous.

This would be one of the main reasons we created the phrase, “if our lives were a tv show the fans would be quaking.” You may not understand that phrase now but the more I cover the more you should understand.

There’s a reason I called us both idiots.

Hello anon, and yes, it's mainly because she's the oldest, but also because Eleazar considers her one of his best bets, because she's skilled in combat and strategy, although Caio is quite intelligent too. Eleazar would disregard him because he doesn't know how to fight like his sister and because he's the youngest, and if there was some threat to the MC's life, Eleazar would trust Cecilia to protect mc and to know how to deal with the nobles in case they was in the sights of some of them for one reason or another, besides the fact that the house of Marven is very influential and powerful. But he let mc make the decision of which one to choose, because both houses, Marven and Samuels are very powerful in different ways.

About the fake relationship, This is something that has more to do with the plot and the story itself, so it has to be, but it's not something that will be in the whole story.

Heart- Break again finds a Way

In Strom, I tend to play defensive rather than going with the flow, enjoying the beauty of destruction. I constantly shove my face too deep inside the sand, so that I can ignore my feelings until they lose their voice by screaming. I fell in love with a boy, at the age of twenty-four, you would think I would be mature enough to handle a silly crush, however, that's not how the mind works when you get to know that silly crush also likes you back. Well, crush is a powerful word, it was more like a stupid joke rather than crush. We both fell in love but I fell harder, I used to wait for his text and calls when he is not even ready for something long-term, not like I was thinking of long-term. But unfortunately, it's me who crashed harder. The anxiety inside my mind forced me to analyze every and each word, every action, which turned me into a big ugly green-eyed monster that may be and hopefully, I am not. He drunk-texted me the L-word which again made me hopeful and again made me sad thinking he would run the moment the clarity will hit him the next morning. And he did the same thing, I imagined he would. But at the same time, I get to realize one thing, someday I will find someone who will not be afraid to join in my weirdness and won't say he is confused. I deserve someone who won't hesitate to take my hand and also came to the conclusion, someday he is also gonna find someone who will have the patience to wait for him, let him go at his slow pace. Alas, and fortunately that person is not me.
