her physical looks could decrease in some way, therefore decreasing her dating options/partners. she could be the type of person who relies on her partners for money, or who relies on handouts while using her sexuality to her advantage. she could be a straight up gold digger. but she is being forced onto a healing journey. she could have deep rooted issues surrounding her self-value and her body, and she's going to be forced to heal her relationship with her sexuality. she could literally have a "coming to jesus" moment. and if so, i'm feeling that there's going to be something that she experiences that scares her or shows her a lot about herself. i'm really seeing an expansion of her awareness happening, and although painful, it'll be what's needed for her to question herself and who she is.

just like pile one, your mother could have some type of witchcraft on her - candle magic to be specific. or, for this pile, i'm picking up on the fact that your mother has caused a lot of chaos through candle magic or some other sort of energy manipulation and she's being forced to face all of the consequences of this. i feel like she could have been hit with a return to sender (which is basically just karma). she's going to be forced into looking for a lot more meaning to life than just having sex appeal, men, and money. this may be uncomfortable to hear, since this is your mother we're speaking about, but some sexually explicit content of your mother could be exposed. and if not, then she's going to be gossiped about in relation to who she's sleeping with. i feel like she will be facing a lot of judgement from this. but her karma overall is definitely being forced to gain complete independence for once in her life in a whole new lifestyle.

from "the three fates" card, i'm hearing that her karma is definitely hitting her hard. this was a long time coming and she has really accumulated a lot of negative karma. spirit is saying that she was "idiotically confident" enough to believe that she’d be able to avoid this karma, but she’s being faced with a harsh reality.

your mother could have a lot of addictions that she has been stuck in cycles with. like with many people, your mother clings to these things as a way of suppressing pain (although this harms those around her) and her karma is that she’s going to be forced to make change in her life. drastic change too. she could be forced into some type of rehab or therapy. she could have tried to isolate you from the world, or keep you unnecessarily sheltered, and i'm seeing her ending up completely alone and maybe even "imprisoned" somewhere. this doesn't have to be prison (although it could be if your mother has a habit of getting into legal trouble) but this could also be some type of hospital or facility. your mother could be extremely delusional in some way, or just completely ungrounded and unrealistic in the way that she thinks. i'm also seeing that she could be a hot-head too, and if so, she's going to be forced to take something like anger management classes.

i'm also seeing that for those of you with mothers who struggle with alcoholism in particular, her alcoholism is going to affect her health. and it'll most likely be her reproductive system that's impacted. she could also be forced into making some type of change for the sake of her children. if she has a relationship with someone who she claims to want to have more children with, i feel like this person is going to force her get help. otherwise she's going to lose her dream of having more children due to her partner refusing to bring more kids into her life when she can't even look after herself properly. this could also be related to being given an ultimatum to get anger management or lose someone/something, for those of you who have mothers with anger issues. but for some reason, i'm feeling like she's really going to hit rock bottom in some way. in the sense of being forced into a time of isolation where she has to really reflect on how she got herself there in the first place, as well as the ways in which she needs to heal.

so @erch0maii said in a post that i didn’t want to hijack that the reason that both screen adaptations of tmi didn’t feel quite right is because they were these dark gritty adaptations while the books are, at heart, campy and silly and comical. and i was thinking about this and how it relates to the other series in the tsc canon. when i first read tsc i thought that the reason they felt tmi felt different from tid, tda, and tlh is because they were her first books but it really all comes down to the character’s sense of humor and genre awareness. because all the other tsc series (and i’m betting twp too) take themselves so seriously, but timi doesn’t do that.

with genre awareness, the characters are put in this dark edgy fantasy war series but they act like their in a satire or a comedy. my favorite parts of qoaad were when jace and clary were in these dangerous situations and were acting so nonchalant about it. and it wasn’t even like a fake confidence or something, they genuinely just are Like That. like at the war council they walked in casually with normal clothes and people didn’t even notice them until lily called them out. like, they could have changed, they could have made a big entrance, but no, why bother. and later in brocelind when manuel rips out the tent and they’re playing tic tac toe. they don’t acknowledge him at all, not even to make a joke about him ruining the tents they borrowed. they just sit there playing tic tac toe. and again on the imperishable fields, jace has a knife to manuel’s back and clary is holding the stanchion but emma describes them as walking as if they’re out for a morning stroll.

and like look at the parallels between the series. the tlh crew met one and a half princes of hell and barely made it out with their sanity. the tmi gang has collectively met 3 princes of hell and in literally every situation they’re on the same level. when emma and julian went to thule it was this dark scary traumatizing thing, this actual hell that wasn’t quite hell. and when james, matthew, lucie, and cordelia went to edom it was this terrible experience that both lucie and matthew spent literally dying. but when the tmi gang went to hell, what ever. yeah it was serious and traumatic and scarring but not in the same way. izzy and simon hooked up. clary and jace had sex. and alec made fun of all four of them for it after. jace got caught by a demon and clary scolded him like he left the fridge open. they literally snuck into sebastian’s elite fortress with a plan from simon’s dnd campaign. and diyu? even when simon was having a mental breakdown he managed to flirt with izzy it took the tlh gang 3 long-ass books to defeat belial and christopher died in the process. the tmi gang beat sammael in a f*cking side book. if you go to the shadowhunter wiki and go to azazel’s history he’s said as being a part of team good. imagine how casual you have to be to get a prince of hell to join ‘team good’

and then there’s the angels. tessa’s contact with ithuriel almost killed her. emma and julian’s whole nephilim thing also almost killed them. and yeah, clary’s first encounter with raziel was very somber and serious. but in cols simon literally blackmailed raziel into giving him a magical sword. and with faerie, every encounter that the tda gang have with faeries or in faerie is this dangerous quest that could get everybody killed. the tmi gang don’t hesitaste to insult the seelie queen to her face

the thing that sets tmi apart from the rest of tsc is the characters’ refusal to take anything, themselves and everyone around them, seriously for very long

Zuriel, Angel of Libra

and Azrael, Angel of Death (of course)

My personal top are a little harder.

I do really love Azrael

After that, it would have to be Raziel, Angel of Mystery

He's an angel I really love exploring just as a character, and the one I think I can personally relate the most to. That probably comes as no surprise to anyone.

I would say to a certain extent?

Because he usually knows if he'll like someone or not like someone after the first two meetings with someone, but he'll continue meeting you to determine if he was right or not...unless he really ends up not liking you from the get go.

It's cheesy as hell but the best way to make a good first impression is honestly to just be yourself. Even if he doesn't like you there will be a respect for you, and that's still a bonus honestly.

Canceled fun fiction part three.

Afterword.

And so I would like to start the third part by describing only the concepts. The narration part is over.

And so, as I wrote above, the chronology of Legacy of Kain series , due to many circumstances, resembles Frankenstein. Many games are too different in style and plot, and there are also big differences between the lore of the series. In order to connect most of the plot, I had to leave only the events from the games blood omen 1 and soul reaver 1. At the same time, I partially rewrote the plot to fit the new chronology.

Soul reaver 1 era.

And so I'll start with the first soul reaver . First of all, the narrative had many blank spots that I want to fill in now.

I'll start with the empire of Kain ain and its religion.

And so Kain divided his empire into the territories of people and vampires, separating it with a wall. Six brothers kept watch over people and were also responsible for various branches of their empire. Because of this, people were forced to treat them as gods who were responsible for various aspects of existence.

In the early period, when people led an organic lifestyle, they had three cults. The cult of the three younger brothers, the cult of the three older brothers and the cult of Kain ain himself. Next is the history of the development of the empire and the cults themselves.

There were three large cults. The cult of the younger brothers, the cult of the older brothers and the cult of Kain. At an early stage, these were shepherds over a flock of people. With the passage of time, the shepherds acquired divine status, which over time played a cruel joke. The brothers, as gods, were assigned roles and responsibilities. As a result, people revered some brothers more than others, ignoring the hierarchy within the cult.

Such inequality fueled unrest within the brothers themselves. Which inevitably led to an internal struggle for power. While Raziel was alive, he tried to contain this conflict by participating in the affairs of the people and teaching them to love all brothers equally. However, his efforts yielded completely different results. After Raziel went into hibernation for two hundred years, he himself was recognized as part of the cult of Kain. Thus, excluding the deity from the cult of the elders, adding him as a descendant of a single one. Making the rest of the gods just creatures and not heirs of the empire.

This event led to a hundred years of war not only between humans but also between brothers. The bridges that towered over the lake of the dead were destroyed, leaving only one, in the sanctuary of the clans. As the war progressed, the brothers' roles constantly shifted. Raziel himself, with the blessing of his master, for his services to the empire, slept inside the sanctuary of the clans. Two hundred years later, Kain returned to the war-torn empire and executed his first son. He also gave complete independence to the clans and left the empire.

After the execution of Raziel and the departure of Kain, the biggest changes happened. Having destroyed part of the Raziel clan, the older brothers realized that they were in the minority. To maintain control over the humans in the coming war, they included themselves as part of the cult of Kain and his empire. The younger brothers were still his creations, but not part of his legacy. Which led to a thousand-year war of attrition. As a result, the younger brothers emerged victorious. The kingdoms of men that worshiped Kain were destroyed. However, the younger brothers were also rapidly losing their status as gods among people. However, their tactic was to increase diplomatic relations with new kingdoms. Thus, by the end of the first soul reaver, the remnants of the cults were small sects with a bunch of crazy fanatics.

Now about the alternative plot.

The beginning of this branch starts from the ending of the first soul reaver , where the Hylden device scattered Raziel and Kain in time. Kain found himself in the era of ancient vampires and Raziel in Nosgoth who was enslaved by the Hylden.

I'll start with Raziel. Once in the future, he sees that Nosgoth has turned into a pile of asteroids surrounded by storms that hover in the form of several rings, between which there are large buildings resembling cities. Also between the asteroids there are magnetic green rays that maintain stability between objects. There are also glyphs resembling seals hanging between them. The asteroids themselves are also populated, many of them are huge in size and some of the old buildings have been converted for new needs. The architecture of the new owners also had different designs. Somewhere these were black monoliths with a green glow. Other buildings resembled piles of flesh, which were given a square shape. Some of the flesh grew into the surroundings or grew between the buildings like vines. Moreover, some buildings had protective fields.

Plot.

First, Raziel will find himself on a huge piece of the continent, where the sanctuary of the clans is located. He also did not feel the presence of an elder god who could help him with advice. After exploring the ruins, he will encounter Vorador, who will first test his combat skills. Having made sure that Raziel is useful, he will invite him to join the resistance and will further initiate him into the history of this world, as well as ancient vampires. During his travels, Raziel will have to visit the distorted Avenus Cathedral, in which the Hylden are holding the evolved, mindless Turel captive, and finish him off. He also learns that there are Hylden who became vampires and joined the resistance. In addition, he will meet the mysterious seer hylden, who has become a vampire and learns that Mobius is still alive. Raziel's main conflict will be deciding whether to help the resistance or find Mobius and go back in time to set things right.

The conflict between Vorador and the seer.

Basically, these characters pursue common goals, although they have different points of view on what is happening. Vodor clarifies to Raziel the history of the ancient vampires and also the role of Kain in all this. Vorador acts as Kain's mentor and also calls him his protégé. Unlike Kain, Vorador has much greater access to a time machine. He, like Kain, is a traveler between eras. However, he had differences with Kain. Therefore, he allowed him to build his empire and sealed away some of his offspring so that they would play a key role in the events to come. Vorador urges Raziel not to try to kill Kain, since he is part of Nosgoth's unified destiny. Hearing the name Janos Audron from Raziel, Vorador only reports that this is one of the great ancients who is no longer alive.

The Seer agrees that Kain is very important to the flow of fate, but suggests finding Janos Audron for clearer answers. For which the main goal is to search for Mobius, as the most experienced time traveler.

About ancient prophecies and the history of vampires. There are several differences from the original. First of all, most people don't see the connection between the blue-skinned winged creatures and the vampires they encounter. Secondly, the ancients were very similar to the Seraphan order. Therefore, the human order portrayed them as angels and adopted a similar style. Plus, the citadel of ancient vampires was built for people and human vampires reigned there, not ancient ones. The uprising of the keepers of the balance happened against the new vampires, whom they mistook for the ancients. The Guardians appropriated the style of the old masters of the fortress and established a new rule, completely ignoring the history of the vampires. Which was confirmed to Raziel by Vorador and the seer.

In search of Mobius.

The world of Hylden finally absorbed Nosgoth, mixing the peoples and subordinating them to the new government. This power was the supreme Hylden overlord , who had absolute control over all his servants. Before he came to power, the Hylden had already tried to enslave Nosgoth, but it was an Alliance of different nations that the ancient vampires had once driven out. These peoples were united by a single system, which prevented their souls from completely dissolving and brought them back to life. This system was called Hylden. This Hylden system gave conditional immortality to those who were connected to it. But the new ruler was able to completely subjugate this network, turning the Alliance into powerless slaves. The goal of the resistance was to destroy the ruler and free his slaves, hoping for peaceful coexistence. Of which Raziel was not sure. However, he blamed himself for not helping the descendants of Vorador in their pursuit of Kain. Using Hylden’s device, he may have created this future with his own hands.

In search of Mobius, Raziel increasingly doubted his new allies; he had already begun to miss his former master, who, with his advice, instilled at least some confidence in what was happening. He had to help both the rebels and the seer. Which ultimately brought results. After freeing some Hylden engineers from captivity, he heard the history of their people. Which opened up for him from a new side.

Later history of Hylden.

A small digression, I will not describe all the details of how Raziel was able to study it. Sources should be different characters and places. It won't be limited to just engineers .

Firstly, Hylden is the name of the network that unites the souls of creatures, preventing them from completely dying. The people themselves were once an Alliance of different types of creatures that opposed the ancient vampires and their wheel of fate. When the vampires erected the pillars of Nosgoth, they cut off this network from their world and transferred it to another dimension. All beings whose souls were connected to this system were torn out of their bodies and transferred to this dimension.

This event completely changed society. From conditionally immortal, the Hylden turned into soul eaters. They captured the bodies of local aborigines and, with the help of their techno-magic, were able to rebuild cities in a new place and grow new bodies for themselves. The world in which they lived was almost devoid of habitual life and resembled drifting rocks in the flow of a whirlwind. However, despite the conditions, technoholic experience and knowledge of biology helped the Hyldens to master the new place. From now on they were no longer alive or dead. Their society was also divided into castes, and over time, subspecies appeared. It all resembled a distorted version of the old alliance. Over time, they were able to open corridors to Nosgoth and send their agents, many of whom looked more like demons than intelligent beings.

Having found out the situation with Nosgoth, the Hylden began to prepare the world for their return. Many castes pre-divided territories as well as creatures that would be used as raw materials. For the invasion, the Supreme Council of the castes created a special military council that united everyone. At the top of which stood the highest members as well as the general who led the invasion of Nosgoth. However, their plans were destroyed not only by external forces, but also by internal strife. The council deliberately constrained the general's actions so that he would not gain too much power. Which ultimately played a key role in the death of their society.

Late in the invasion of Nosgoth, the Hylden began to practice mind melds to create superior entities that could control their society. The general was one of these creatures; he created a special network for himself, with the help of which he could mentally control his servants. This really scared the council. When the war was almost over, the Supreme Council, fearing a new war, secretly began to establish a new network that could control creatures, subordinating them to the will of the council . At the same time, the supreme members of the council were united by their own network, on behalf of which one creature controlled by them was supposed to speak. However, the marionette betrayed the council and personally seized most of the entire network, subjugating almost their entire species to her will.

As a result of this event, the remaining creatures went deep underground. These were both members of the upper castes, whose consciousness turned out to be quite strong, and experimental creatures and mutants who had previously been prisoners of the old masters. Part of the caste that was considered a demon in Nosgoth also survived, but it could do little to oppose the technical development of the new hosts.

It was then that the resistance had the idea to contact the vampires of Nosgoth to repel such a large-scale threat. They were able to contact some of the descendants of Vorador, who were already studying the Hylden culture and trying to contact them. But their enemy took advantage of this. Having intercepted the channel, he entered into an alliance with these vampires. He promised them a new type of immortality and an alliance in exchange for help in opening the passage to Nosgoth. Hylden overlord did not seek to enslave new allies until he could conquer Nosgoth. These vampires became known as Hylden worshipers.

By that time there were very few rebels left. Unexpectedly for them, Vorador himself came to the rescue from a temporary portal, with some of his allies. Among them were hybrids of the ancient Hylden and vampires, led by a seer. They offered their help, but it was necessary to move to a time when Nosgoth and the world of Hylden merged. Only there will they have enough strength to overthrow the new ruler.

The puppeteer.

In search of Mobius, Raziel will find his sanctuary, as well as several broken rooms for time travel. However, there was a time travel device that could be used without these rooms. Parts of which were in the ruins of these sanctuaries. The goal of the search will be to assemble a device that will move Raziel back to the past. In the end, he will miss one part that is located at Mobius himself. At this point, Vorador will inform him that they have found a way to get into the lord's sanctuary, which will require a device that Raziel has been collecting all this time.

Having moved to his chambers, Raziel was waiting for a terrible revelation. The master of their main enemies was none other than Mobius himself. Or what was left of him.

A long time ago, even before the fall of the pillars, Mobius doubted the power of the wheel of fate. Secretly, he began communicating with the Hyldens, who promised him freedom and power in exchange for help with their release. When the pillars were destroyed, Mobius as a time traveler was very useful, eventually becoming one of the supreme members of the Hylden Council. After the defeat in the war, he personally took the blame and offered the Supreme Council to use his body as a puppet, as payback for his mistakes during the war. The council accepted his offer, but he did not know that Mobius was using the nexus stone, which was used to close the passage to Nosgoth. Mobius found it and used it to switch the streams of the shared network under his control. Thus his consciousness and the supreme council merged together, creating a new being. With the power of the council and the ability to see through time, Mobius quickly seized control of the entire Hilden Civilization, subjugating them to a single consciousness.

Mobius told Raziel all this as a winner in a big game. Explaining to him about his influence on the brotherhood of Seraphan and the creation of a false religion within the circle of nine. And also mocking Raziel's contradictory role and his goals that argue with his own beliefs. Making the main emphasis on the fact that he still sees the future and knows his every step.

The only chance to destroy Mobius was the device he created. It protected Raziel from his attacks and some of his magic. Mobius himself flew along a spherical structure in the center of the universe and sent destructive charges of rays and walls of magic. Having closed part of the system, Raziel was able to hit him with the help of the soul reaver. However, the victory turned into a defeat. Before his death, Mobius warned that the whole world would die with him. Since they are connected together. Through a mental connection, Vorador and the seer suggest to Raziel that the last part of the device is inside Mobius himself. After that, they disappear into the temporary portal. Raziel manages to assemble and use the device before the universe was destroyed. After passing through the time vortex, he finds himself in a familiar room and hears the voice of Mobius, who greets him calling him the redeemer and destroyer.

Afterword. It is quite difficult to describe everything that could happen in this period of time. Raziel had armor with live chains, and also found new upgrades. The style would be a mixture of shifter and blood omen 2. A huge part was given to the action as well as the internal conflict of the character. A lot came down to his description as well as telepathic dialogues with other allies. Raziel 's main goal was to understand the correctness of his judgments as well as the history of his order . Which influenced his formation as a human.

Description

Summoned are humanoid or actual monsters that had been locked away due to being too out of control or unwilling to follow commands of their former masters. There are stated to be at least near a hundred of them locked away inside the Nature Grove, where they're either vined to the ground or wooden/stone statues.

Appearance

Their appearances range depending on what the personality of the Summoned they are, example being Raziel who is the holy archangel but is silent, cold and acts mysterious and his outfit consists on a white hooded coat that looks like a cloak, large white wings sprouting from the back with hidden angel armor underneath his cloak. And Draxo who wears a plain white ruffle neck and sleeve shirt, along with dark green pants, and a popped up collar cape.

Diet

Summoned don't eat, they have no need for it but they will not decline food if it's offered to them so it'll ease their masters stress of not seeing them eat.

Abilities

Their abilities range from the species of Summoned. Like Raziel who has holy magic/abilities and Burnclaw who has fire and darkness related abilities.

Sometimes a Summoned will transfer power to their Summoner to give them a boost or to save their life as their have been cases when a Summoned and Summoner share a life force to prevent one another from dying.

Society

Summoned enjoy interacting with each other even if they have clashing personalities. They're always making activities with other Summoned or their Summoners for them to bond over and enjoy, strengthening their relationship.

They tend to make friends with those who are friendly with their summoner and will only be hostile if said friendly person threatens their Summoner.

Names

Names are given up on being summoned by a new Summoner. Raziel has stated that his name was Gabriel before all this but he prefers his new name. Summoned have been shown to hate past names either due to bad memories or the names being forced upon them.

On the topic of the last post, I'd like to say Raziel was one of my first aroace headcanons. I was still learning what each sexuality was, and the fact I could assign them to characters, and for Raziel this one instantly made sense.

He is never given a romantic interest, nor he shows interest in one. And even his relationship with the other men in the series didn't leave much space for it. Most of them are related to him. And yet, when he meets Janos, who isn't, he instantly assumes a relationship of mentor and father figure.

All of those things contributed to me seeing Raziel as just this little guy who is trying to save the world and not caring at all about romance or sex.

And I'm sorry, I genuinely can't ship razi/kain. In the game's themes and motifs, these aren't just two unrelated men who are very loyal to each other, they're intentionally made to represent father and son by the narrative. And on top of that, it's a popular theory in the fandom that, as fledglings, the lieutenants were like newborn children, meaning Kain would have raised them like a father would. So yeah, this ship squicks me. This isn't an attack on who ships it, it's just me stating why I don't.

Also, imagining Kain in his parent days is fucking hilarious. Specially imagining Raziel with eldest daughter syndrome.

finally, the guy ever.

mass lore under the cut bc I dont want to make 17 million posts about one guy, not organized. my insane ramblings about my guy

RIGHT!!!! Enoch lore! this is gonna be just a mash of things about him for convenience.

★ Enoch is entirely believed to be the sole werewolf left in Nosgoth, there haven't been any others found in a while. they're... just sorta gone?

his first appearance is in BO2, I think- where Kain meets him again, his former buddy! who was blood thirsty and full of insatiable frustration and so hot blooded is now trying to keep himself out of trouble due to initial overwhelming paranoia and anxiety, Kain spares him (that's his dog) and Enoch continues to help him in what ways he can, this is not the domino to his faulted loyalty- but where it starts to clearly had been stemming from, a sort of debt he needed to repay- which later itself manifests into his pride & loyalty to serving Kain.

★ Enoch himself has a bizarre ideology, genuinely. He believes the acts of vampires (specifically Kain) as righteous and what he does in their name as that same level of grandiose superiority with full acquiesce- not a complaint from him at ALL!!!! to kill in the name of Kain is to promote that beheld greatness of vampirism, the undying belief that what he's doing itself is correct- no matter the abhorred terrors and heinous acts hes doing.

★ The 'veil' is more based on the werewolf hcs I've had to come up with to explain both their disappearance (sarafan related) and why Enoch values hiding his face so much.

SO!!!! to explain, since Enoch withstood the werewolf related madness, he views it entirely as a shameful thing, being stuck as essentially a big dog and as what everyone else thinking of him as a monster, a thing that will kill their crops, their livestock and run a fool in their towns and deserves to be slaughtered- he cant stand being seen, by anyone- not even himself. It's shameful for him because of how he's the last, it's a permanent reminder of what cannot be- the heartache and sorrow that is a constant for him already.

★ alright, second appearances. He next shows up in SR1, wow crazy. uhm- specifically Raziel goes and finds him to seek out answers because Kain treated him as a confidant , surely he'd know about him being a sarafan right? turns out he does. he was advised (instructed, actually) to not tell any of the lieutenants, he had no play in their resurrection, just thought the fact (during the time) to be irrelevant because of how the two both mutually hated the sarafan.

Not a lot for soul reaver, since he doesn't show up that often, or really at all, bc hes not too important.

THATS DIFFERENT IN SR2 THOUGH!!! last of his appearances. bc of the time travel stuff where Raziel can meet Enoch at his peak, not some socially extinct guy in a catacomb. The feared general in Kain's empire, his beloved zealot- carrying out his beliefs bc he genuinely believes them with his whole heart & soul, believing in all the flaws and things that lead to Raziel killing him. little too overaggressive in his youth- no leash and muzzle. Hes reckless & crass- real tempered- said that before but it's real apparent with the younger version of him in sr2.

He wants to kill people!!!! He wants to exact revenge on anyone who crosses and wrongs his sire.
