steven grant x reader

summary: The reader was diagnosed with a fatal illness, neither you or the boys knew when your time would be up. When Steven comes back from a mission overnight, he and his alters never get to say goodbye.

warnings: very angsty, death, heartbroken moon boys, mentions of hospital equipment, Marc and Jake make an appearance.

Steven had left you with a forehead kiss and a simple promise that he’d be back as soon as possible.

He was gone for 3 days.

You were incapable of quite literally anything as you were constantly in and out consciousness, Marc had asked one of the elderly neighbours to look after you whenever they were gone but after she saw Steven freak out in the elevator, she never came back. Marc and the rest of them were unaware of that completely.

The heart monitor beside your bed beeped loudly in the silent apartment, it was always so incredibly lonely when they left. There was times even khonshu felt terrible for taking the boys away for a while but it was their job, it was Marcs debt to pay. You understood that.

You were tired, your body felt light as if it was floating. It was calm and peaceful. You knew what was coming, so you weakly sat up and moves some of the wires out of the way and grabbing a pen and some paper to write a note for the men you love dearly.

It took the rest of your energy to fold up the note and place it on your nightstand. The photo of you and Steven sitting nicely behind the note, you leaned down and kissed the frame, a tear rolling down your cheek at all the sudden core memories of you and them.

Tears were streaming out of your eyes uncontrollably when you knew you wouldnt be able to see their faces before you go, but thats life. You cant always get what you want even if its your last wish.

Steven had a smile on his face, a bouquet of flowers resting at the bend of his arm as the elevator doors opened. He quickly walked to the neighbours house and knocked on it until the lady opened the door with a small jump.

“H-hello, i uh i’ve got cash but i havent exactly got all of it right now” Steven stutteres, flipping through his bank notes. The woman shook her head in confusion “What for?” and Steven chuckles “Looking after y/n” he replies. The womans face slightly drops.

“I haven’t…i havent checked on her”

Stevens heart sunk immediately. He almost threw up right then “What?! What do you mean?” the woman shakes her head again “I havent been to check on her im so sorry” shes about to ramble on again but Steven jolts down the corridor, barging into your shared apartment.

“No”

Steven dropped the flowers as he stood frozen at the doorway.

He could hear Marc and Jakes distress but at the same time it was drowned out like white noise. It took him a while before he rushed to your side with his eyes already swelling with tears “Baby? please wake up” he whimpers and shakes your body like a little kid trying to wake his mother after a nightmare. His heart felt like someone was crushing it with their bare hands, he almost couldnt breathe.

Your body was pale, the flatline being the only noise he could hear. He was begging you to wake up, he was trying everything he could to wake you up but deep down he knew it wasn’t gonna work.

Marc was screaming at Steven to call and ambulance but Steven shook his head “Marc…” he whimpers breathlessly and his legs give out, his hands clutching onto your shirt as he wailed into it.

Marc and Jake watched the scene, crying not only for you but for Steven. Steven was the one who met you, asked you out, kissed you first, had sex with you first. You were even the one who took his virginity. Marc and Jake loved you so much, but their love could never match Stevens.

He used to sit at the end of the bed looking at the mirror, rambling with a smile to them both about how beautiful and amazing you are after he’d get home from another date. Only a month ago he was talking to them about marrying you.

Jake looked away when Steven started choking on his tears, clawing at his own chest because his heart ached that badly. Marc pursed his lips together and silently cried. You were so sweet to him, during his mental breakdowns, his nightmares and his panic attacks it was always you who would rush to his side and hold him close to you, peppering kisses to his face and shushing him gently until he’d feel safe.

With Jake, he was so distant and hes never regretted something so much until now. You were both just starting to get close, he accepted he loved you and he was going to tell you he loved you for the first time when they got back. Thats why he had to look away, he didnt want his alters to see him cry.

Though they all perked up when a gush of wind caused the folded note to flop beside Steven.

He looked down at it as more tears flowed out of his eyes, you knew you were gonna die. His shaky hands picked up the note and he unfolded it with hiccups escaping his body.

Steven. I understand you couldn’t get here in time but i know how much you loved me, the same goes for Marc and Jake. I love each of you so so much and i hope you all stay safe.

please look in the bathroom. My last gift for you. I love you so much.

Steven gripped the paper in his hands and cried out. His back flopping against the side of the bed with his head in his hands. He couldn’t do it, he couldn’t open the damn door until Jake suddenly fronted.

Jake gritted his teeth and wiped his eyes as he forced himself to stand and avoid looking at you because he knew if he did, he’d breakdown. So he straightened his posture and walked to the bathroom door with his knees buckling at the sound of a soft meow.

He huffed as the wall broke and his tears came flowing down his cheeks “Pendejo” he muttered and rested his head against the door, twisting the handle and opening it. He stared ahead into the mirror, frozen before he felt the soft fur of the kitten rub against his leg, another meow coming from it.

Jake looked down and stumbled onto his knees to pick up the kitten “mi amor” he whimpers as he looks into the eyes of the small animal, her eyes the exact same colour as yours. He cried even harder when the kitten started to lick his cheek, ridding of his oncoming tears and nuzzles into him.

Marc fronted when Jake slowly cried himself to sleep, sat up againt the bathroom door with the kitten curled on his lap. He looked down at the kitten and whispered your name with a strained voice. The kitten perked it’s head up and he laughed, tears staining his cheeks but he shook his head quickly, picking up the kitten and standing up to face the bedroom, your body laying lifeless in front of him.

It took him a few minutes before he could get the courage to walk towards you.

“It’s all my fault” he cries “i should’ve- i should’ve ignored khonshu and just come home to you” he was about to go on until the kitten nipped his ankle. He hissed and looked down to see the kitten licking the bite before looking up at him and meowing.

The note left on the desk caught his attention again and he turned to it, flipping it over.

i will always be with you.

the attention to detail is so stunning. the way the scene is set, the inherent power imbalance, lance so eager to please it's almost painful to watch....

im still reeling at this concept okay. i havent gotten over it yet i don't think my review is sufficient to describe how good this is but can we talk about this like

"Mouth open and sucking in air, trying his best to keep quiet, Lance feels both compressed and torn apart by the intensity of Fernando’s attention, redirected. He’s being talked about, but not talked to. Praised but not acknowledged. Lifted up high and pushed down hard." such a waaay with words!!!! i am very extremely enamoured.

the push and pull here is perfect: bratty lance (<3) trying to elicit a reaction, nando willing to indulge despite his discipline (he's actually so into it.....it's all a game for him.......uuuueegeghheheu.....) the way tension is built and released is so so masterful and a delight from start to finish :)

He’d heard all of the rumours about the way Fernando operated in Formula One, how ruthless he was, how he terrorised his teammates, how he would grind you down until you doubted your own abilities. Lance knew he didn’t need that. But he also knew he didn’t have a choice either, Fernando was coming to Aston Martin whether he liked it or not.

nando as an exhibitionist is...something. how he draws lance in to do the most brazen things, how lance is powerless to resist, is such a tantalising prospect. lawrence's obliviousness makes me want to shake my head patronisingly ("Lawrence agreed, feeling grateful he had another driver pairing that were getting along." ??????? ?????) this fic really shines because of all the details (sweater paws?? hand on nape??? the actual db12 feature???) the "canon compliance" makes your concept so true to life and now i can't unsee it.

the thing that stayed with me was the image of nando bent over the car. it still makes me lose my shit to think about.

Lawrence had made Lance read an entire fucking book on this history of Formula 1 before he started the job, and all Lance could remember from the 2000’s was the German guy who won all of them, before the other German guy started winning all of them. But still, who did this guy think he was, trying a line like that on him? Aston Martin wasn’t the type of team that could hire a double world champion. “Michael Schumacher won in 2005,” he said, trying to project more confidence than he felt. “Nice try.”

BRATTY LANCE. I MIGHT ACTUALLY CRY

the voicing is nailed doWN to a tee and i am thriving. there is one very interesting roscoe related comparison in there that i will not be forgetting any time soon. this ticks all the boxes for me - backstory, characterisation, humour, there is even Plot !!

also love the offhand mention of glance.....they could have been together in another universe..... "Everyone was short except for George Russell, who was both tall and fast. Why couldn’t his father have invested in Mercedes instead?"

this author brings so much delight and depth to every single one of the pairings she writes about, and i will not be forgetting about this any time soon.

So i putted him in Liyue since Contracts, ya know?

Azul lives in the coral sea where the sea witch Ursula lived

Ursula handles contracts, And who else in Teyvat handles contracts? Rex Lapis/Zhongli does!

So im thinking he lives in the waters of Liyue along with the tweels

Kalim Al-Asim

Kalim lives in the dessert side of Sumeru and its pretty obvious why

He's mostly a catalyst since he isnt allowed to be on close combat

Although he can use a spear really really well!(he wanted to match with Jamil)

Trust me, I love Kalim very much. But i cant give a decent explanation about him in Teyvat!😭😭

Vil Schoenheit

Vil lives in the green part of Sumeru. Specificaly in the city of Sumeru or near the the borders of Sumeru and Fontaine

His Mom is from Sumeru and his dad is from Fontaine so his a mix of both

He is an expert at using weapons but he prefers being a catalyst

Honestly, his vision explanation is already in the picture so- next!

I like Vil but I havent read/watched book 5 yet so please spare me

Idia Shroud

Congratulations to Idia on being the first ever tall male Anemo👏✨️

Sooo this is a drama that was adapted from a pretty popular webtoon, and they softened it quite a bit in the drama. Because it was spicy. It ends incredibly realistically (and hurtfully) in the comic. So your warning bells are v accurate.

THE SIDE ROMANCES ARE MY FAVORITE. I adore Bitna and Gyu. But Sol and Jiwan was my ship. This was the first drama I had watched where they were showing any queer relationship, and I was willing to sink with it.

and that table scene?? bestie it was most definitely 🥵🥵 when he looks her in the eyes and asks ‘is this really ok? because i might not be able to stop?’ i needed to shut it off for a second bc it was TOO MUCH 😮‍💨

if this is the softened version i cant imagine what the webtoon is like 🤯 hold up, lemme compare with the webtoon… for research purposes 🤣 just kidding, idk if i havent seen enough kdramas or what but this was way more explicit than im used to (except squid games of course, that bathroom scene scarred me 😭)

sol and jiwan are soo cute!! i was cheering for them too!! honestly yelling at one point bc it was so obvious they were into each other but they wouldn’t TALK to each other 😭😭 i loved all the side romances tbh. the teaching assistants were also super cute 🥺

loved this one, han sohee is incredibly talented as usual but i found a new actor to adore in song kang.

‘It seems…so different from the last time we were here’ i thought as the gates opened and we made our way towards the palace. Luke, Jace, and I heard the clanking of swords and saw a crowd forming; wanting to see the commotion we b-lined right to the training grounds. Leading the way, the people around bowed to me but stared at Luke and Jace; luke was nervous “they’re looking at us” Jace tugged him forward “so what of it”. Making our way through the crowd to the front the ‘battle’ is Ser Criston and…’is that Aemond?’ looking in disbelief as the once scrawny kid was now up in age, taller than me and really getting the best of Ser Cole. Smashing his shield and pointing the tip of his sword to his neck, the ‘battle’ was over. Breathing heavily “You’ll be winning in tourneys in no time my Prince” Cole said. “I dont give a shit about tourneys, Nephews! Are you here to train?” he turned around to face us finally and smirked. Stepping forward, I bowed and gave him a half-smile “Remarkable my Prince but I am afraid my brothers will not train with you today dear uncle, we were simply just watching” turning to Ser Criston “I see you havent lost your touch just yet Ser Criston” he bowed “I still have to defend the King Princess”

Slightly glowering at the man, I turned to Jace and luke and nudged them forward “We should head back before they miss us” bowing to Aemond, we headed inside…

“So the princes are a bunch of quivering pups still?”....we almost headed inside. Feeling anger rise, I swiftly turned and picked up a sword that was around, marched right to Aemond ‘Im gonna beat that stupid face of his’, the remaining crowd gasped as I pointed the sword at his chest. “Do not insult my brothers uncle, I will have none of it”. Raising his hands, he backed around and i threw the sword to a guard and marched back to my brothers and into the palace.

Aemond pov

‘Seven hells she was beautiful’ seeing Y/n after so many years left him quite flustered at the thought that she came to see him first to train. ‘Maybe…no thats impossible’ shaking his head

When they were kids (before they left because of you know the whole eye thing) Aemond and y/n were quite close. She was nice and never bullied him for not having a dragon. She always snuck him sweets and even went with him to the dragonpit. When Y/n claimed Vermithor, she took Aemond for a ride with her and ever since then he was sure that he would marry her. But when Aemond claimed Vhagar (you raggedy bitch) y/n face just showed disappointment. ‘How could you do such a thing?’. Seeing her rare flare of anger and her pointing a sword at him in the defense of her brothers, reminded him of the days when she use to do much for him.

Present

“I would like to propose a toast to the Queen for devoting herself to my father for all these years, I know it has been hard and I admire you Alicent” Mother raised her cup and took back to her seat. The Queen, grandmother Alicent gave a smile at mother and she too raised her cup and gave a token of gratitude. The dinner spread was lovely and my mouth was watering at the sight of all the food. While everyone chatted about, Mother announced that cousins Rhaena and Baela will be betrothed to my brothers Lucerys and Jacerys; leaning to Baela I giggled “Be warned dear cousin, Jace is a terrible dancer no matter how much i force him to practice, do not be too ashamed of him at your wedding please?” she laughed and Jace scoffed at my remark. Aegon was smirking at Jace. Turning to Rhaena and Luke making eyes at each other i ruffed Luke’s hair “He’ll be good to you Rhaena, hes a sweet boy” Luke smiled as Jace was flabbergasted that I switched up for the younger boy. “Y/n do you have a betrothal?” Helena asked. I saw Aemond look at me from across the table, taking a sip of wine to force the load of bread down, i sighed “I fear not….father has scared them all off” I glared at my father Daemon who smirked as he pretended to not hear.

Mother smiled gently at the poke and looked to Alicent, nervously “Actually, Your Grace that is what I wished to discuss with you” Alicent turned to Rhaenyra surprised. “What is the matter?”

Mother took a deep breath “I would like to propose marriage between my heir, y/n and Prince Aemond”

The silence was LOUD

Queen Alicent eyes were wide and looked a bit flabbergasted “oh-Oh! Oh my! That is quite the proposal…um “ she looked at Otto and back at Rhaenyra. Aemond was staring at y/n and y/n was trying not to choke on the wine she sipped. The two locked eyes, and Y/n looked away quickly, focusing back on her mother and the Queen.

Mother seemed to still her nervousness and quirked a pale brow “Well is it so much of a shock? I did propose this once before to your Grace. A marriage that will keep the line of Dragons strong and the realm preserved…Y/n is my heir and i think Prince Aemond will be a suitable match for her…unless your Grace disagrees?”

Aemond pov

Maybe it was the wine, maybe it was the satisfaction to rub it in two string faces, maybe it was the longing to be accepted and love, or maybe it was the selfish desire to finally be able to possess something just as valuable as a dragon.

Standing from my seat, raising my glass to Y/n “I am honored to accept your proposal dear sister” and bowed. Y/n who was looking at her mother with wide eyes and turned her head to me and squinted, she stood from the table and bowed back as well.

“I guess” she mumbled as Rhaenyra hit her shoulder

“Well i guess a royal wedding is under way hm” Mother nervously proclaimed and slipped her wine. Rhaenyra brushed y/n hair out her face and kissed her cheek in comfort, Jace and Luke glared at me from across the table, daemon sipped his wine smirking.

my favorite show of all time is german! dark!! its a netflix original and its about time travel and its my favorite show on the planet and i’ll never get over it. theres SO many quotes from that show that have stuck with me. the entire meaning behind “a glitch in the matrix” was changed to me after i watched it. it just really changed the way i look at life i love that show with all my heart.

i watch so many foreign shows and movies actually. one of my other all time favorite shows is cable girls which is a spanish netflix original. its about these girls who work at a telephone company in late 1920s madrid. god i love that show. ive also watched elite (also spanish), young royals (swedish), and im currently SO EXCITED for the mini series adaptation of the book all the light we cannot see. that one will be a mix of german and french, its about a german boy training to be a nazi and a blind french girl. AND THE ACTOR FROM DARK IS PLAYING THE GERMAN MAIN CHARACTER!!!!!! GAH I CANT WAIT TO SEE IT!!!!!

as for movies i think my favorite foreign film ever is portrait of a lady on fire (french). thats probably my favorite lesbian story ive ever watched on screen. its set in the 1800s and theres literally like one man in the whole movie and his only line is bonjour its PERFECT. i need to watch it again.

another classic that i never get tired of is parasite (korean). its one of those international films that has become mainstream in america too AS IT SHOULD bc that movie is so fucking fantastic. its such a brilliant story i LOVE it. if any of you reading this still havent watched it please do. i think its the best oscar winning best picture ive ever seen.

for other quotes/scenes that have stuck with me, definitely the entirety of dark but also the book we all looked up. i read it when i was 16 and its still in my top 3 favorite books of all time. its about a meteor hitting earth in a month and how 5 high school kids who barely know each other all cope with the fact. theres this one scene the day before it hits where one of the main characters asks them to tell them a philosophy and give them a reason for why this is happening and he tells this whole story and i just love it so much. something i also fucking love about that book is that the very first sentence in the book is “its not the end of the world” but that line was just referring to a test that they failed. it was said before the meteor was even discovered. I LOVE SHIT LIKE THAT. i didnt even notice it until the second time i read it.

oh my gosh, where do i even begin? what an episode i want to SCREAM (also now that i'm re-reading this, i noticed how out of order my thoughts are, please bare with me im freaking out)

firstly, can i just say how we're only two episodes into this season and its been by far my favourite!

i want to just say that this was 100% lizzies episode imo, like she ATE and left no crumbs.

That scene where she and tommy have to meet mosely and his mistress (fucking diana and her "eLizAbETH" stfu) and theyre both standing there dressed to the nines while smoking

at this rate he's probably getting a little sus about how much i love a fictional character

when i heard the opera music, i was thrown off. alfie doesn't exactly have the personality that screams "i listen to opera!"

but then in he strolls talking about "i thought opera was just fat people fucking shouting" and then going on a rant about how it reminds him of italian soldiers crying when he stabbed them

(kinda want to punch him in the face for what he wrote in that letter about jewish people, but i'll leave that to tommy when he inevitably kills him)

i just know scenes between jack and tommy are going to be intense

also i want to know who that old man staring at tommy while he gave his speech at the house of commons is??? like he is sus

oikawa has sleep paralysis and he oftens hallucinates about aliens in the corner of his room

kunimi does this thing where he makes weird noises with his mouth like sounds of his mouth opening LIKE when youre tastinf something new and you do that sound with your tongue (I DUNNO HOW TO DESCRIBE IT AJDKSKKD)

makki bends his knees just to crack his ankles

iwa sneezes a ton but he has those sneezes where theyre quiet that you dont even notice or really loudly that it just echoes throughout the gym

kyo sleeps with one sock on bc his feet gets cold easily but both socks make him feel really hot so only one sock is perfect

for a tall and hunk of a guy, mattsun is a very light walker like his footsteps are very light and if he wants to, it can be practically silent

watari actually hates vegetables ajssksksk he particularly hates zucchini, eggplants, any vegetables that are that shape

kindaichi likes to stick or lean against walls because to him, they feel cold and can decrease his body heat

oikawa stands and places his feet at V position like \/ instead of ll because his sister did ballet and he was taught that was the right way of standing and it was considered graceful

yahaba has a fear of cactuses

mattsun does so badly in the heat because his body temp runs so high and the hot surroundings make him feel so uncomfortable and so he takes a lot of cold showers

iwa cannot swim like he freaks out immediately when his toetips can no longer feel the bottom and he panics with thoughts of drowning

watari has really small feet that he still buys big kids shoes to save money

kyotani considered playing baseball because he thought baseball bats were cool but he got angry and threw tantrum after missing his first pitch

iwa chomps on a whole raw chili while eating ramen akskksks

oikawa actually hates sweets bc when he was younger, he had cavities and iwa showed him a cartoon of cavities eating his teeth and will make him toothless

kindaichi really really likes hugs but hes too awkward to ask them even from his parents

yahaba chomps on mints so he goes through boxes of them in a week

i feel like theres a boy in the team who doesnt brush their teeth everyday and rubs a towel on their teeth to make it look clean and take mints to hide their bad breath

iwaizumi is actually iron deficient so he bruises super super fast and he even developed iron defiency anemia when he was younger bc his parents didnt catch on which caused him to be put on strong medication for months and still takes it now

oikawa used to eat his mom's roses from her garden because he thought it would make his farts smell good like roses

takahiro is a surprisingly good artist like he draws really cool action fighting scenes in the corner of his papers and stuff

watari hates sitting on the floor bc his butt bone hurts really easily so he can only sit on cushions for long periods of time

makki’s unemployed yea but he rooms with mattsun in exchange of cooking because makki’s surprisingly good at cooking

iwa is practically the nutritionist of the team because he knows everything about proteins, carbs, iron, and needed vitamins so they all go to him to know what to eat and what they need

usually, knockout punches actually just knockout a person for a few seconds, which is what happened to luke, and it’s super common in like, UFC MMA fights which i used to watch a lot as a kid. it’s this split second unconsciousness that leaves the opponent unguarded for a much stronger punch that can knockout for a much longer time. the head is just That Fragile and thats why guarding it is the most important thing to do in any kind of martial arts

but luke did not do that because hes a dumb dumb who underestimated ria and being completely unguarded and not braced for impact? SLEEPYTOWN, BOIIII!!!

Ladies and gentlemen, it is by craft-tastic pleasure that i am gonna present to you all................ my Sackboy AU..........

SACKBOY & SACKGIRL: Adventures in Craftworld!

Now, before we get started, allow me to tell all of you something... which is...

THE STORY

The story takes place after the events of LBP and SABA, Where after getting the title as the protector of Craftworld and a knitted knight, Sackboy must face the challenges of being a knitted knight, with the help of his sister, Sackgirl! But the story... also foretells, The return of Vex. (That's right he's back and with a lair of his own and a crazy lovesick assistant, but also with the help of a familiar villain from LBP3...) It's up to the siblings to make sure they help everybody in need and stop Vex from taking over Craftworld and make it into a land of uproar!

THE CHARACTERS

Now that we know the story, it's time to meet the characters! The heroes AND the villains!

Everybody in Craftworld have got goals, some are craft-tastic and harmless, while other goals (The bad ones)... well, they can be VERY malicious and villainous. and our heroes' goal is to overcome the obstacles of knitted knights. While the villains try to make craftworld a land of uproar AND/OR absorve it's creativity and keep it for themself. Now, let's go meet our heroes, shall we?

SACKBOY

Sackboy is the protector of Craftworld and a Knitted Knight. This little autistic fellow is always up for adventure. But sometimes he can really use some help. He does not speak, however, he can speak sign language. When someone is in danger, you can count on him and his sister Sackgirl to save the day!

SACKGIRL

Sackgirl is Sackboy's sister and Knitted Knight sidekick. She's pretty smart and challenging. Always up for a challenge to foil Vex's plans and to drink some smoothies. She, with Sackboy, always try to find a way out of trouble and to solve problems all around Craftworld. She also tries to keep everybody (especially her brother) safe from evil. Even though she's just a knitted knight beginner, she has the dreams to become one just like her brother.

Headcanon Voice: Polly from Powerbirds (Voiced by Tara Strong)

Scarlet

Sackboy and Sackgirl's mentor. The last remaining knitted knight who is also a maternal figure to our heroes. she sometimes gets excited of telling stories, but she's also a very wise, confident and brave woman who always teaches the siblings on being a knitted knight. She plans to go on adventures on her own, but also going on expeditions with Sackboy and Sackgirl.

Voiced by: Dawn French (who also voices her in the original SABA game)

Now that we met the heroes, i think it's time we meet their adversaries... the VILLAINS! Starting from....

VEX

Oh, dont tell me you don't recognize him! You know, god of nightmares, master of the uproar, bringer of chaos, LIFE OF THE PARTY! the two heroes' arch-nemesis. This near-mythical being born of chaos and fear once turned Craftworld into a land of uproar but then Sackboy stopped him and turned everything back to normal. But now, he's BACK and even more evil than ever. This selfish, greedy, mean, narcissistic, regal and dastardly royal git plans to transform craftworld into a world of uproar. with new various inventions and a crazy assistant (and a scientific henchman), he is always up to destroy sackboy and take over as craftworld's new lord. Of course, he can be silly and a bit clumsy sometimes but he still has hopes to defeat his enemy and rule over craftworld.

Voiced by: Richard E. Grant (who also voices him in the original SABA game)

STITCHER

Stitcher is Vex's assistant of chaos. Was once a sackling living in the village of Loom. But once Vex showed up, he joined his side after he was defeated by Sackboy and changed into this crazy, diabolical, lovesick bad guy who loves Chaos, Destruction, and most importantly... VEX! (yes, he's got a huge crush on him.) he always helps Vex to destroy sackboy and sackgirl and turn craftworld into a land of uproar. He's always a fan of what Vex does and he sincerely admires him very much. He can build machines and uses his hammer "Slappy" as a weapon to use his attacks (especially bomb related ones). He can be very sassy, energetic, crazy and most importantly, mischevious. he can be nice sometimes but he refuses to give up his role in villainy. He has a big sister but he prefers not to talk about her much often. But either way, yes, he's crazy about Vex (and Vex has a secret huge crush on him too...) keep scrolling.

Headcanon voice: Junkrat from Overwatch (Voiced by Chris Parson)

NEWTON

Newton is Vex's new Scientist Henchman who works aside Stitcher as his P.I.U (Partner In Uproar). He was forced by Vex to join by his side to destroy sackboy. Despite many attempts of refusing. He gave up and got Vexed as he joined the villain team. He can be foolish and not very smart but is highly intelligent. Despite this, he tends to accept unearned credit and even comes off as a bit narcissistic. Especially when he's a bit jealous of Vex. But he's also a huge papa's boy and a crybaby who tried to impress his father by releasing the titans back then. But, he failed and in the end got... you know, some ouchies in his bum-bum. He sometimes hates Stitcher's guts when he is making fun of him and calling him: "Nerd-ton" and "Papa's boy". Despite working for Vex, his goal is to absorb all of Craftworld's creativity and become the imagisphere greatest creator. But that doesn't happen because how bratty Vex can be when it comes to conquer Craftworld. sometimes he can throw a few fits. But not as much as Vex does. But yeah, get ready imagisphere. NEWTON'S BACK AND lamer MORE BRILLIANT THAN EVER!

Voiced by: Hugh Laurie (who voices him in the original LBP 3 game)

Now that we have met the heroes and the villains, i think it's time we go for...

THE AU'S INSPIRATIONS

Remember one time i said that the au was gonna be like a preschool/saturday morning kids cartoon? Well, it's true! It is! So, here's some inspirations behind it. You might have watched or heard of these, if you havent watched them, please do.

Due to it's charming character designs and stories, Powerbirds is the AU's biggest inspiration. If you havent watched this already, please do, it's really good!

4 words. Brilliant action & comedy. plus, the fourth wall breaks in the show are absolutely amazing. To be honest im planning to watch this again in the future, but most of all, the villain scenes in this show are amazing and funny as well! (im looking at you, Dr. Eggman.)

im getting a little too in my family feels today and so INSTEAD of feeling those im just going to ramble for a second about why i fucking love paladin!aelwyn because. im. just like this i guess im coping leave me alone

cw for discussions of child abuse, maladaptive coping, drugs and alcohol, self harm, destructive tendencies, basically everything we see in canon and the implications

aelwyn is ... SO interesting to me because for as much of her interiority as we see, as much of her as we think we understand, as much as i could ramble about her character for hours, we know ALMOST NOTHING about her in actuality?? (besides ... one key thing)

(this is like 2k and probably incoherent someone please stop me)

okay. listen. almost everything we see aelwyn do in s1 is maladaptive rebellion against her parents and home life. the drinking, the drugs, the partying, perhaps some of kalvaxus (though i dont think we fully understand how much of that was forced on her as well, kalina WAS watching her when she was talking to adaine about it). you can say like, oh aelwyn is a party animal, she's impulsive, she makes risky decisions, she's bitchy and rude, and its like. okay but IS SHE ACTUALLY. because under her parents thumb she had an EXTREMELY limited amount of freedom, and usually when people are suffering from very little control over their life, they WILL act destructively over the tiny bit they can, either harming themselves or their environment or people lower than them in the pecking order, because in a way, that feels like a reclamation of autonomy. saying "you have so much power over me but can you stop me from hurting myself and destroying what you havent managed to claim yet?". its just like, kind of what human brains do and frequently has little to do with a persons actual personality or impulses, its just. desperate brains trying to control SOMETHING because autonomy is a fundamental human need and when thats taken away we get. very bad off. (this is one big reason eating disorders are SO common with abused kids.) so i think a lot of the s1 aelwyn we see is like. this is a very desperate, abused teenager "acting out" in the only way it is possibly somewhat safe for her to do so because, on a psychological level, the self destruction is weirdly the only emotional tether and its either this or just dissociate all the time (something we do see she has problems with in canon)

and yes, she did treat adaine horribly in s1. she fully did. obviously what we get in canon is what happens but a moment thats interesting to me is in episode 1 where adaine has attacked aelwyn several times, who either does nothing or just bounces it back, when she says "i never cast spells at you" and siobhan immediately retcons it and says "yes you do, all the time" (i havent gone back and watched this bit so i might be wording this wrong). obviously its an improv show and the canon is built between performers as they go, but that was interesting to me. that brennan hadnt intended for her to have fought back in that way. she definitely feeds into the emotional abuse from their parents and participates in all the toxicity there, but we know in canon that she did that because of overwhelming fear and self preservation. and that her self hatred because of it just fed back into the cycle and made her feel like she wasnt good enough to even try to break free from it. this is very common in golden child/scapegoat sibling relationships where the golden child SEES what the parents are capable of and becomes a participant in the abuse out of fear for their own standing. in any way siding with the scapegoat child not only directs abuse at themselves as well, but frequently makes things WORSE for the scapegoat because the parents will take out the challenge to their power on them even more. so, if aelwyn DID ever try to defend or help adaine when they were small, she would have VERY QUICKLY learned that made things worse for everyone. and just. sectioned that part of her brain off, as she's done with so many other things. (and i dont think im reading too much into the forest scene with the abernants to say their parents were VERY QUICK to turn abuse towards aelwyn if she stepped out of line even a little. like, you dont flinch when a hand moves unless. you know. dont need to say it just something to think about. as far as we saw in canon, she had done everything they asked of her leading up to the forest, and we DONT KNOW what happened in it but we do know brennan specifically called out how in broken spirits she was when adaine was summoned, even though they did the ritual to avoid all of the nightmare bullshit)

(the house party is literally a whole separate post but i think its fair to point out that 1) she was super under the influence when that was happening which DEFINITELY is in no way an excuse for her behavior but worth remembering when trying to analyze that 2) her losing that fight did canonically have DRASTIC consequences for her and even if she didnt know exactly how that was going to turn out, i think she knew how bad it might be. and she did not know adaine or any of the bad kids were going to be there in the first place)

all that said, it feels in some ways counterproductive to say that aelwyn is an extremely devoted and protective person (yes we're getting to the paladin shit i know i've been rambling a while) but i think that thats strangely ALL WE ACTUALLY KNOW ABOUT HER. because we've established that her self-destructive and abusive behavior in s1 is almost entirely psychologically scripted for her by her parents, we dont know how much of her villain shit in s1 was LITERALLY UNDER THREAT OF DEATH because we know at least killing the oracle was and we dont know how much of the rest of it was mandated by either her parents or kalina other than that she probably was under orders not to tell adaine the truth, and we know participating in all of this caused extreme self loathing in her that she refused to show to anybody and was too terrified to act on in any way

so, like. what does that actually leave us?

here's what we do know about aelwyn:

- of all the schools of magic, she went into abjuration

- the entire bbeg plan from season 1 hinged on aelwyn's complete faith that her level 1 sister was the most prodigious diviner in the world

- right after (?) the house party, she locked her memories where only adaine could find it with a note basically saying "theres so much bad blood between us but i know only you could find this"

- she desperately wanted to protect adaine and the fact that she was too afraid to do so made her hate herself (and her knowing that adaine now knows this is the turning point in their relationship)

- despite everything, even in the nmk forest, she still loved her parents

- the SECOND she is shown genuine love and affection and care from adaine, and adaine says whatever you do, i am here with you, all her actions from there forward are just about protecting adaine from their father, very nearly at the cost of her own life

- with what she probably thought were her last words (and would have been if adaine hadnt given her the tincture), all she wanted to communicate was how to help adaine and the bad kids, and how despite everything she had always believed in her

- at five levels of exhaustion, unconscious, she used her first spell slot after nine months of torture to build a shield around adaine

NOW we get to paladin!aelwyn. because, once everything is stripped away, the abuse and the control and the maladaption and the threats and the torture, EVERYTHING we ACTUALLY can glean about aelwyn's personality and inner core is that she's protective and devoted. and of course classes arent locked by personality, but that just screams paladin to me. its her WHOLE THING. adaine even says "wizards dont have heals, we dont care about other people" and of COURSE that isnt true for either of them, but? mechanically? aelwyn chose the wizard school that DID let her protect, and DID let her help, but i dont think, at this point, going forward, thats really going to be enough for her (and we could also talk about the parallels between them, how often adaine uses her portents to help other people)

i think a lot of the different reads on aelwyn come from this fundamental disconnect between her actions and displayed personality vs who she actually is and what she actually wants. and i think there are very different interpretations of what thats going to look like for her going forward. but i think, for a girl who's most hated characteristic about herself was her self preservation at the detriment of others, her perceived selfishness, and her fear ... isn't choosing to be braver and more selfless and more protective and shedding that self-preserving instinct for the betterment of others ... and MECHANICALLY being able to act on all those things ... the logical next step? i think its going to be a LONG TIME before aelwyn can love herself, but what other way is there to try? if adaine loves her, and adaine believes she can be better, isnt being better because she trusts adaine kind of a form of self love? saying, i dont believe in myself, but i believe in the person who believes in me, and maybe, in a roundabout way, thats the same thing. she was never able to TRY to be better before, because trying to improve even a little, even when people arent watching, when a harmful force has so much power over you and your actions ... like, the mental dissonance is honestly TOO much to even try, thats WAY more terrifying than letting yourself be bad, to the point where thats psychologically impossible for a lot of people. but now she actually has space and freedom and CHOICE and she CAN embrace the instincts she always had to shove down, she CAN be the person she knows her sister needed her to be

i dont know, i think theres an inherent love letter to yourself in wanting to be better and wanting to improve, even if you justify it by saying its for someone else. and now aelwyn actually CAN improve, and thats probably going to be extremely awkward and scary and there will be set backs and backslides for sure. but. i dont know. i think she wants to make up for lost time. because she never wanted the time to be lost in the first place. and if a protector is who she always wanted to be, whats stopping her from being that now?

A/N: Hii this is my first fic so please be nice! Also sorry if its short!

FT: some of the Avengers cast.

Warnings: this is a tickle fic (no its not sexual), bad grammar.

Prompt: You just finished shooting a scene on set with your friends, and you found Tom in your trailer, you decided to go live.

Word count: 1,305

You had finally wrapped up a pretty long scene with Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans. aka Iron man and Captain America.

You had been working on the set with the Avengers for a little over 9 months now, so you havent been in any of the movies yet. Tho you have become really close with all the cast members.

You had an especially good bond with Tom Holland.

“Hey, Y/N!” Chris called out to you, “wanna come get a coffee with us?”

“No, im good! Thanks! I have tea in my trailer, ill just go there and relax.” You replied with a kind smile.

“Suit yourself! Were going out, we’ll be gone for a while!” Robert tried to change your mind.

“Im good! You can go!” You assured him.

“Kk.” He said trying to copy your language.

“Hey! I dont talk like that!” You fake whined.

“Mhm, okayy! Can we just go now? I want coffee!” Chris was already out the door.

“Coming!” Robert scoffed, and went with Chris.

You started heading for your trailer, you opened the door and saw Tom sitting on the couch.

“Y/N! Finally!” he whined.

“Oh! Tom! Hi, sorry had to retake the scene too many times.” You flopped on the couch next to him.

“Are they annoying you? Cuz that wouldn’t be suprising, they sometimes drive me crazy! But theyre fun to work with!” Tom said with a chuckle.

“No, no! Its fine, just wanted some tea.” You said as you stood up to go warm up some water.

“Hey! I already made tea!” he showed you the two cups of tea that were sitting on the counter.

“Thanks!” You flopped down on the couch and took the mug in hand.

“So... i’m bored! Wanna go live?” Tom said already opening instagram on his phone.

“Sure! I mean we got nothing else to do!” You said as you scooted a little closer to Tom.

“Alright! Let’s not make it too long tho, I wanna rest a little after this.” Tom said starting the live.

You nodded.

“Hey guys! We have a small break from shooting! So me and Y/N decided to go live!” Tom said nugging you.

“Hey! Don’t spill my tea!” You exclaimed, slapping his shoulder with one hand.

“Haha! Sorry!” He chuckled. He picked up his cup of tea and took a sip.

“Oh! Right! You don’t know who Y/N is yet! Maybe some of you do, that check the cast member list.” He talked to the camera while you took another sip. “Shes playing the role of the new character “Z” in the movie, shes a bit younger then me! So i finally have a friend here, unlike those old men and women.” He giggled, of course he was joking. He loved his other cast members.

“Rude! I like them more than you!” You said sarcastically and laughed at the face that Tom made.

His mouth was wide open and eyes big, he was just looking at you with disbelief. “Z! You can’t say that!!” He turned to you and fake whined.

“Did you just call be by my hero name? Hah! Okay, Spider-man!” You teased him.

The live was filled with the laughing emojis, they seemed to love you already!

“Don’t talk to me like that! I’m the mighty Spider-man!” He called out with pride.

You chuckled. “Okay, Spider-Boy!” you laughed.

He fake gasped while putting his hand to his chest. “How dare you! I could beat you in any battle!” Tom said getting into his Spider-Man character.

“Hah! Yeah right!” You scoffed and he looked at you with a glint of playfulness in his eyes.

“Watch me!” He exclaimed and tackled you to the couch.

He seemed to act if there were no people watching you do this.

“Hey! Tom! I-AGH!” You let out a squeak.

Tom looked at you. “... you ticklish?” He had a small smirk on his face.

“well.. I.. No?” You said with a stutter.

“So.. you wouldn’t mind if i.. DID THIS!” As he said that, he dug into your sides with both hands.

“AGH! TOM! NO! Stahahahap! Nohohooo!” You arched your back while trying to pry his hands off of your sides.

“Ha! You lied! It isnt wise to lie to Spider-Man! TAKE THIS!” He said as he dug into yout stomach.

“AAAAAGH! TOM! TOOOM! Ahahah! noOOo!” You cried out.

“Who is Tom? I’m Peter!” Tom said with a smrik that you could not see.

“OKOK! PETER! STAHAHAP! Nahahaaa!” You laughed your head off, and his teasing didn’t help very much.

“Hey, what’s so funny? Did I miss a joke? Tell meee!” Tom said as he dug deeper into your belly.

“NAHAHAHA! STAHAP! IM GONNA DIHIHIHIE!” You fell into histerics.

“Hey! You didn’t answer my question! Why are you laughing?? Z? Hello?” He teased you, he knew exactly what he was doing.

“PEHEHETER! YOUHAHAHA! YOU’RE TIHIHICKLING MEHEHEEE!” You screamed hoping he would stop, but you also didn’t.

“Ooooh! So that’s why you are laughing, huh? Didn’t take you for the type to be ticklish, Z!” Tom teased as the live was filled with laughing emojis and comments about your cute laugh.

“TOHOHO- I MEAN PEHETER! STAHAP! IHI CAHAHAN’T TAKE IHIT!” You were being pushed to your limit and Tom felt that, he started slowing down but not stopping completely.

Someone entered the live.. it was Robert Downey Jr.

Tom looked over at the live while he was still attacking your ribs, and saw Robert’s comment.

Robert wrote: “Hey, Y/N! You should’ve come with us! Regret it yet? Anyways.. were coming to save you.”

Tom read the comment and let go, “No, wait! You what? Robert!” he scrolled through the lives comments.

You were finally free and you could finally breathe. “Ehehh.. huff..”.

The comments were filled with “OOO!”, “You better run, Spider-man! Iron man is gonna get ya!”, and “OOOOH!”’s.

You sat up and looked over to Tom, when u saw his face in the camera you couldnt help but laugh. “Haha! what happened now??” You saw the You better run comment and realized.

“Hey, no! Y/N help me! He’s gonna actually kill me!” Tom looked over to you.

“Well.. i sujest-” KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK.

“Come in!” You said with a laugh, Tom looked at you like you had just stabbed him.

“Heyyy! Y/N, you alive?” Robert and Chris entered your trailer.

“Yeheah! I couldn’t say the same for Tom tho!” You said while turning to Tom who just looked confused and scared at the same time.

Tom was still live, you grabbed the phone from the table and turned the camera, you knew what was going to happen.

“Hey... uhm- I have to go..” Tom said while slowly standing up.

“no can’t do, sorry kid.” Robert said as he grabbed Tom and tackled him to the ground.

“HEY HEY HEY! NOO! Rohobert!! Plehease don’t!” Tom said trying to fight back.

Chris just sat next to you and enjoyed the scene that was about to play out.

“Kid, i’m not even touching you yet!” Robert laughed.

“Whyhy are you talking like Stahark?” Tom said giggling.

“what do you mean? Peter? Are you alright?” Robert said in a sarcastic tone.

“Noho doHONHAHAHAA! ROHOBEHEHERTTT! NAHAHAHA!” Tom broke out in laughter for his fans to see.

Robert dug into his belly, that was one of his worst spots.

“Who’s Robert? I’m Iron Man!” Robert laughed to himself as he quoted the same thing Tom said to you.

Rest of the 10 minutes were filled with Spider-Man’s laughter, as Iron Man wrecked him. Captain America and Z watched the scene with amusement.

After sometime had passed and it was time to go to lseep, you opened Instagram and saw that a lot of people had tagged you and Tom in videos of you getting tickled.

You smiled and went to sleep.
