The Bros Visit the Human World
︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵
You bring the bros to the human world for a little get-away and they develop some interesting habits.
︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵
Lucifer
He’s the restless one that doesn’t sleep well. It takes a night or two to get comfortable and sleep normally.
Lucifer will probably be the first one up. Not only out of habit, but you’re in the human world so he’ll see the sun again
Being away from Diavolo and the responsibilities actually makes him seem like a stranger. Everyone forgets who he is outside of that because he’s so dedicated.
If you’re around a lot of nature, he’ll just casually stroll around. Almost like he’s forgotten what grass, trees, and flowers look like. He loves to spend time in the sun and just breathe the air.
Have pets? He’s partial to cats and well-behaved dogs.
Surprisingly, he’ll be the type to chase birds off of anything half-wounded or put birds back into their nests
At some point you’ll find him on the roof, wings out and sunning
Take him to livestock stores or somewhere like Tractor Supply Co. and he’ll be super tempted to smuggle a baby chick out in his pocket.
Loathes most human TV. Can’t bring himself to be interested until you bust out bible-history related documentaries. If he finds one he’ll take control of the TV, watch it all, and rip it to pieces.
Kind of develops a complex about it. “What would these humans know?! They’ve only been around for, what, forty years? Try five thousand!”
Take him by the coffee shops or smoothie shops to try decadent treats! He secretly likes them!
Mammon
Sleeps easier than Lucifer but has a tough time because the noises are different
If you have an open field or bigger back yard, his favorite thing to do is stand there and watch birds come to him. It surprises him that he can summon more than crows
Boy will definitely throw on a sunhat (or some cool glasses) and ask you what you feed birds around your place. Stands out in your yard throwing bird seed like the birds are starving and he’s got a million bags.
The type to fight squirrels and chase them out of your yard or away from feeders because “It’s not FOR you!”
If you live somewhere more laid-back he’ll feel very restless. He’s drawn to bigger, busier places.
IMMEDIATELY asks you about restaurants and things to do (”What’cha got? What’s good? Anything fun around here?”)
Gets super frustrated by shows like Storage Wars but it eerily good at appraising the value of stuff at a glance. Often guesses the real value of the objects
Show him Antique Roadshow. He’ll LOSE. HIS. SHIT.
He’ll ask to go by places like pawn shops and jewelers to just look at the different things humans trade or want to save up for. Can probably get discounts on the stuff.
Bring this guy when shopping for jewelry. He has an innate gift for appraising and can see flaws. He knows when you’re being played.
Want to be a little mean? Get those chocolate treasure chest coins and give one to Beel first. Mammon might just have a heart attack.
Definitely goes on a rant about how making chocolate money is wrong. (”Why make a currency you can’t spend?!”)
Make the visit special by getting some type of matching jewelry--earrings, rings, necklaces--and he’ll wear it around.
Take him by pet stores where they’ll let the birds out of cages, he’ll make kissy noises and love on all of them. Will definitely try to smuggle one out.
He’ll spend whole days in parks when he realizes you can park it on a bench and feed birds. Birds that don’t always get food!
Don’t show him water fountains. He doesn’t get the concept of people tossing coins in and will definitely try to take them by posing as a cleaner or something
Taking him by a museum is a 50/50 gamble. He’s genuinely interested in the displays and setup but might try to steal something
Do you have a way to watch The Road to El Dorado? Show it to Mammon. He’ll love it.
Leviathan
Unless you live by some cute cafes, comic book stores, or video game retailers he probably won’t do much on his visit
Do you have a pool? He changed his mind. Might gripe about the chlorine messing with his skin though.
If you only have access to a community pool he refuses to do anything with it
Take him to the beach if you live near one. He’ll ALWAYS go for ocean water!
Because the Devildom is the Devildom, I bet they don’t have Ghibli movies. Maybe they have knock-offs, or they’re considered rare because they’re human world related, but have a Ghibli marathon with him! He’ll love it! It won’t be Ruri-chan levels of love, but he’ll stan and want to buy some stuff
Can you make boba tea at home or swing by a coffee shop that makes a close substitute? Take him! He’ll like it! Levi may complain about it not being authentic but he’ll secretly appreciate it
He likes savory food and junk food so take him by a dollar store and get some cheap chips and sodas. It’ll be interesting to try. Maybe he can make a Deviltube video about trying human food!
Levi also strikes me as someone who would like nachos, so maybe grab him some nachos!
Do they know about the Doritos and Mountain Dew thing in the Devildom? He might want those. (”Look, I’m like the human gamers!”)
Levi runs a little colder than his brothers (by Devildom standards) so take him around to feel on blankets and maybe get one to take back to the Devildom.
Satan
Has a great love for books (obviously) and a great disdain for Devildom bookstores that charge an arm and a leg for human finds. TAKE HIM BY BOOKSTORES AND LET HIM LIVE IN HIS NATURAL ENVIRONMENT!
The type to bring an extra suitcase just for books
Is actually quite a homebody because he has no connections in the human world (besides you), so he’s fine to sit and read his new finds.
Do you have books at home? What are your favorites? He’ll read them, too, while he’s here
Show him some kind of crime channel or crime YouTuber and he’s 100% obsessed. Binges them like Netflix
Will wave you over and demand you sit, tangling your legs together as you lean back and speculate on who the murder is and what happens since most of those TV episodes are an hour long
Loves anything psychological-based. Wants to understand why people do things and how they work. Show things like Criminal Minds and Mind Games. He’ll be SUPER interested.
Do you have cats? You’ll see Satan whispering them and holding them against his shoulder. He’s in love and might be planning to steal your cat.
Taking him by animal shelters makes him a little sad but he’ll be glad to play with all the cats at one time.
Don’t tell him that, to most humans, Lucifer and Satan are the same figure in the Bible. He just might lose his shit.
Does your town have history/mystery tours? Take him! It’s a two-in-one and he loves it! History and culture, mystery and crime!
Show Satan Cinderella. He’ll get the BIGGEST laugh out of the cat being called Lucifer.
Asmodeus
Like Mammon, will ask you about aesthetic places and things to do
In a rare moment of not hating Mammon, the two will gossip at the jewelry stores and be really critical. Mammon stops Asmo from making bad purchases
Show him around some makeup stores! He’d LOVE to see human products!
If you take him by ANY store with clothes, he will look, pick, feel, analyze, and try things on for the hell of it. It will be an all-day thing
Human fashion takes off more than he expected on the Devilgram, so he’ll buy a few things.
When he realizes makeup stores give free makeovers, he’ll use that to his advantage. Especially by charming people
Goes on a small kick of charming people to get what he wants because Lucifer only ever told him he couldn’t do it to YOU. It’s a new level of fawning and attention and he eats it up
If he sees a cute Starbucks drink on TV, he wants it.
If you show him Pinterest or Instagram, he’s glued to a device and saving things.
By the time everyone goes back to the Devildom he has a tiny notebook full of ideas and details--ways to recreate it in the Devildom
Gets several modeling offers and you (or one of the bros) has to pull him away, It’s not happening.
Unexpectedly into unboxing videos and calligraphy. Lives for pretty hand writing and is fascinated by bullet journaling even though he’s too lazy to maintain one
Show him soap operas/dramas and celebrity entertainment channels. He won’t know what to believe.
If he sees shows like Jerry Springer, Maury, Jeremy Kyle, or Judge Judy he live-streams them like ‘can you believe what crazy things happen in the human world?!’
Beelzebub
The dollar store is his heaven! ALL THIS FOOD FOR A DOLLAR?!
I personally think that human food is less calorically dense so he’ll need to eat a lot. Take him by fast food places that have cheap dollar menus or five dollar deals
If you go to a restaurant with a ‘finish in ‘x’ amount of a minutes and it’s free!’ do it. He’ll set a record
Beel learns about all you can eat buffets and gives you puppy eyes until you take him to one. At least you’ll get your money’s worth!
Don’t take him by a real grocery store. He’ll bankrupt you. Or eat all the free samples.
He’s interested in cooking shows but if he watches them you’ll have to clean up a lot of drool, give him something to eat while he’s watching, or stop him from absently grabbing the closest thing and trying to eat it
Is super into renovation shows and technical shows where people work with their hands. It’s like sports of the mind.
Not as interested in watching American football because he’ll critique it too much. Any other sport, he’ll find it interesting and want to know how it works.
Show him old Olympic footage. He’s surprised at the variety of sports and will watch the whole thing
Will also enjoy Ghibli movies. How do they make food look like that?!
This boy is a Disney princess in a demon body. If he sees any critters while he’s out and about (ANY), he’ll want to try and feed it or pet it
Bugs are drawn to him. He especially likes caterpillars and butterflies.
Beel likes to hunt for ladybugs.
Likes to “donate” to ant hills and watch them work,
Likes to watch nature documentaries about different animals
If you take him to the zoo, he’ll marvel at the different animals. Wants to wrestle a tiger and the bigger animals to see if he’ll win. It looks “fun.”
Belphegor
When he hears about mattress stores, that’s his thing. That’s what he wants you to do together. Belphie will literally lay on as many mattresses as possible and judge them
He may not have a hard time sleeping as long as he has his favorite pillow, but, for kicks, show him ASMR. Beel’s not the only one who drools!
Will definitely fall asleep outside in the sun. Any place is a good place for a nap, and to look up and see clouds is special
Spend a night outside under the human sky. It’s constellations and things he only ever gets to see in the star room
Will watch just about anything on TV. He’ll say he doesn’t have a preference but he likes those happy, soft movies that have gentle endings where everything turns out okay. Actually cries a little.
If he learns what Snorlax is from Pokemon, he’ll want one. A big Snorlax plushy to cuddle and sleep on/with!
If he hears the word “demon” uttered on TV he’s instantly hooked. What stupid thing do these humans think? THAT’S their version of a demon?!
Can you take him to see real cows? He’d really like that.
The type to make flower chains in the grass because he’s bored. Gives his first one to Beel and falls asleep before he can make another one.
Loves milkshakes unironically. Will slink out of bed and come along on any errands/brother outings if he can get one out of you.

I just- arghh your izuku fic… it took so long but it was so worth it. The way you write.
I can not get over or enough of it. It’s so enrapturing and beautiful. You literally inspire me in my own writing. That I don’t really post as of rn but whatever.
I’m literally dreamy eyed over it all. The way you paint a picture, giving such focus to those minuscule things that really make the story feel real. And the way you pull us in and forget we’re even reading at all! Sigh.
Okay but onto the actual content. AAhhh… to that too. Let me just start off by saying me and reader had the same reaction to the first time Izuku said “baby.” I shrieked. It’s always been there but also where has all this sexy been hiding. I love him pls 😭. Also the aching way we felt this (unknown to even him) desperation to just be loved and known really and seen by real eyes that’s not a media microscope. So distant but knowing so much. He just wanted someone to touch him and hold him, remind him that he has someone and they’re right there. My heart was breaking but also I’ve just … maybe it’s this Izuku kinnie in me.. literally to my core… been feeling this lasting loneliness. This desperate questioning of why I’m even around or alive and if this is all I amount to. My idea of worth is tied so much to how i can support and care for other people, I could just feel the way he hurt and I just NGH. But also reader!! The way they also just felt this creeping of love for what, despite being a celebrity, was nothing but a stranger. The desire to love and be loved. The way it was so easy for her to do. I never thought I would read a character x reader and lowkey be partially imagining me with the reader. But somehow you just personify this personality that’s so relatable and yet so it’s own at the same time. I related to both. I loved both. And I loved this story. Thank you for taking so much time on it. 🥺❣️
ERIKA. MISS MAAM. YOU CAN'T JUST SAY THIS TO ME PLEASE IM GONNA CRYFBHJKDHKL
sometimes i forbade detail in some of my stories because i really worry people don't care or won't read it (unlearning that was a huge part of this ngl) i love detail and plot but im like. no one cares so i never end up writing them and i decided to just do as i please for this fic bc i was expecting little to no response (mean that so SO genuinely)
AAHHDFKSJL I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT TO SAY MY FEEWLINGS ARE ALL OVER THE PLACE FORREAL. i think izuku saying baby is so in character for him just bc he has this like??? SWEET edge to him that makes me cry. he's really so attractive and for what?? for who exactly?? but also i do think deku as a character and in general has this.. certain quality to him where no one in his life truly knows him (i think other than bkg but that's another can of worms) so i wanted to play off of that. he just hides how hard things are a lot and it makes sad.
shoko said this to me and it made me cry but also i do this in general where a lot of my longer stories are like?? kind of written from the male character perspective LMAO i rarely write a y/n that is like. Me. maybe some day but i mostly try really hard to almost become a character. i often write y/ns i think i'd be attracted too LMAO
anyways this emotionally destroyed me to read i cant stop staring at it! i love you a lot

Sergio's not gonna die, he is needed for a possible re-opening of the show. Palermo is too obvious (and that matters to pina), Raquel was already fake-killed. OTOH, Denver: has a lot more protagonism this season, with flashback and all, he is a universally beloved character (always a good candidate to kill), Jaime Lorente has been seen in some town with pedro and alba filming (prob flashback but why with those 2?). 90% sure he's the dead (if anyone).
Honestly, the only thing that would truly surprise me at this point if they indeed don't kill anyone next volume. Would be a move™, I'll give them that. But yes, I do think that they'll go with Denver too, and it has been foreshadowed to be honest. Doesn't change how much I dislike and genuinely disagree with that choice though. I don't think the actor would be up for a spin-off honestly, but anyway Sergio only has the element of surprise and the parallel with his father (the show is too fond of parallels lmfao) not much else to make his death a good choice.
And as you said, Palermo is predictable. And I imagine, with how politically aware™ the show is this season, they might also try to avoid the 'bury your gays' trope.
The thing is, most of what you and I just listed are just meta-textual reasons. I'm not saying those reasons have no place at all when considering writing choices, of course not, but I do disapprove, generally speaking, of writers taking this too much into account when writing their finales.
Sergio would be shocking to a more extent than the others, but that doesn't make him any more a good choice. Denver would guarantee as much of an angry and frustrated reaction as Nairobi (Although I honestly don't dislike Nairobi's death as much as everyone else. I thought it was well-played to an extent) and would have a strong emotional response plus parallels with Moscu, but to me it would be very misplayed.
I wasn't really talking about what I expect from the show as much as what I personally believe is a good writing choice. I most expect Denver to die, but I think Palermo is the most fitting choice.
Like sure, those things are subjective, and they change from one fan to the other as well as from one writer to the other. But just because the death of a character is predictable doesn't mean it's not the most fitting choice for the situation. Not really, I think it means the audience sees something there.
Look, before anyone starts assuming I just *want* Martín to die to see some afterlife scene for my ship, or even a parallel. Yeah, sure, preferablly as a fan of them I'd love this, but I don't think they are in any way necessar. To me, they would just be peppering that would make the death scene nicer stylistically speaking. I don't even think the show canonized the after-life or something of the sort, again I just think they are a mere stylistic choice. I wouldn't be at all actually bothered if we got nothing of the sort.
I just wholly believe the best choice to go with for both textual and meta-textual reasons is Palermo. First, the meta-textual ones, despite the fact that I disapprove of how they got there, I have to admit that the show managed to get him to be more likable this season. General audiences that have previously hated the hell out of him like him enough now. But at the same time Martín is still not Sergio, Raquel, or Denver. His death would cause some sadness and emotional response in the audience but not literal rage and feeling of betrayel, like say for example how GOT fans felt. Also, Martín now has enough alive characters that care about him that would make his death sad. It's unlikely an audience would give a shit about a character's death if none of the surrounding characters do. But now there is Helsinki, who incidentally Martín is also much nicer and caring towards this season, so Helsi would have "good reasons" to react strongly to his death, Sergio supposedly also cares for Martín, and we can say Raquel respects him. So the characters around him wouldn't be indifferent, especially if his death has value in the narrative, say an actual sacrifice for the rest of them. The show itself is VERY fond of the sort of arc that goes along the line 'Selfish character who caused harm and pain to all around them reaches selfishness and then sacrifices their life for the sake of the others.' It happened with Berlin, it happened with Tokyo. And it seems is effective enough. So if I were the writer and wanted a death that is effective but won't anger audience too much, I'd 100% go with him.
And again, a point is Martín even has something that neither Tokyo nor Andrés did, he had a very direct hand in the killing of a very beloved team member. Sure, you can say Tokyo had a hand in what happened to Moscu, but Tokyo legitimately had very little choice because she couldn't find Sergio and she had no intention to do harm, she didn't know her entrance would literally cost the man's life. Martín knew very, very well what Gandia was capable of and this is exactly why he did what he did.
Martín is narratively still responsible for Nairobi's death and took no hand in even avenging her from Gandia. That was Bogota and then Tokyo. And the character seems to be weighted by that guilt to a large extent. And I think the absolute best way for the narrative to resolve this point is by Martín dying directly to save Helsinki, who the show also made a point of also incapacitating, and I'd imagine that would have repercussions on how efficient getting out of the bank would be on him. Characters rarely get injured just for the sake of it, Nairobi's terrible injury from Alicia made her much more susceptible to Gandia, who had a huge leverage on her as she was physically incapable of resisting anything. (I imagine Monica's situation would also have repercussions--hopefully just not on Denver lmfao)
So despite generally not being a fan at all of the pairing in any way or form, and how they generally make no sense to me, with how the show is going now it's definitely best for Martín to die partially for his plan and partially for Helsinki.
Like ideally, what I'd personally most love to see and what I'd personally write a 2573 different fic versions of, is for Martín to die for his plan and for Sergio. I personally believe outside of the plan, Martín's most important relationship in his arc is with Sergio. But the show already ignored their relationship enough this volume as a first and Sergio already got the strong death scenes with Berlin and Tokyo as a second, it could be seen as an excess. But with Helsinki it's meaningful on a different level. The character Nairobi cared about the most is Helsinki (and he's also nearly as well-liked by the audience), so this would balance what he did to Nairobi in a pretty significant way, not completely out-do it, but the two acts would definitely balance each other. To both the audience and to the characters, Martín would be truly "redeemed." Which despite how much I dislike, and genuinely don't agree with it, the show is already putting a lot of focus on his 'redemption'. I don't like redemption arcs generally speaking, I don't think Martín is fit for it, and I don't think it's happening in an organic way at all, and I frankly believe it made him boring, but alas, it is what is is, the show is already half-way there, it already took that route, so the only end for it is to finish it and go all the way. It would be very useless if he ended up surviving lmfao.
And of course the other reason is for Martín's personal arc. The plan is his life's work, the thing he showed most loyality and love to from the moment he showed up 2 seasons ago, the end of his arc is with the end of his plan. Never mind how A LOT of scenes would be useless if Martín doesn't actually die for the success of the plan; the whole reason Sergio opposed it so strongly is because, in his own words, it was completely suicidal. Sure, you can say that they already proved the plan is dangerous by the army going in and all of this "war", but there was no Rio, Raquel, Plan Paris or Plan Roman in the original plan, so there would have been no reason for things to go that bad in that respect, all that happened in volume one is by direct consquence of the plan changing, so that still leaves the question why was Berlin and Palermo's plan so wrong and so suicidal if we don't take into account this war? If there is no answer and if there is no answer that is actually anchored by a death in canon, then those were really all just empty scenes. And of course it's Martín, the mastermind and engineer, the artist who crafted this poem, that has to die for its completion and overall success. Since day one, his arc has been tied intimately to this plan, we barely even know anything about him beyond it. And like, three people died for the mint heist and it was a plan made to work perfectly without a single flaw, where does this put a heist that was just full of romanticism and complete focus on the gold with disregard to the people? All of the scenes we saw of Sergio rejecting the bank heist in the flashbacks on that basis have to mean something now.
Against all of this, what does Denver have? What will his death signify? Nothing, in my opinion. The man didn't even want to be there. Also I guarantee you, if he does die for Monica the way he said, every single fan will turn against her and the hate the character will receive will be insane. Like why end the story of those two characters this way? What is there beyond edginess and grimness for their own sake?
Martín's death, even if it causes sadness, will be satisfying for his character. Besides, Martín as a character is too much like Tokyo, I don't imagine he himself would be very satisfied growing old and dying under the radar somewhere; going with a blaze now, sealing off his life's work and having his death mean something too is a much, much more satisfying ending for him.
Tldr; Palermo in a very balanced position to kill, especially that he is currently the actual leader, a position the show has given him with more space and better, much nicer spotlight now than in the third season. And I imagine with volume two focused more on extracting the gold, his role will get only bigger in that respect. He's still responsible for Nairobi's death. And he should 100% die for the Gold and the completion of his plan.

i feel like i need to let someone know that i'm really surprised by how well this druck season is working?? we're all sad time after time, because we can see how self destructive nora is but where the skam fr season seemed so sensationalised, there's something so painfully real... Nora has these moments of being a kid and having fun, but she's convinced herself she has to be the grown up in a familial relationship that she has to hide away at the expense of everything else in her life, and it works so well. we want her to succeed, and she seems like she can, I'm just... she is precious
Hello anon :))
it really is working well, isn't it? There was a big part of the fandom who was sceptical or straight-up rejecting the new gen but I always knew if anyone can do it it's Druck.
But even I must say they've surpassed my expectations. I admit I wasn't that much into the idea of Kiki's sister having a season. I thought this is gonna be the sort of interim season while we wait for the jünglinge to take over but I am amazed how invested I am in this season already and how much I care for Nora and all the other characters.
I haven't seen skamfr's s5 and s6 because I knew they're not gonna be able to pull it off and from what I hear I was right. Skamfr to me always felt like the show that cares more about how it looks than what it says. And like you said it tends to sensationalise things without thinking it through or making it feel realistic. while realism is one of the things that people loved about og skam.
with druck I knew that even though they do fuck up from time to time they always have the best intentions and they do genuinely try to research the topics they want to talk about and listen to what the audience is saying without pandering to them. I still remember when an interview came out after s1 where pola beck talked about how she's aware of the LGBTQ+ viewers and how she got feedback on maybe including trans themes. And voilá s3! And you know as much as I hate how it was done I'm pretty sure they made Mia bisexual also because they wanted to be more inclusive of wlws. and when the mess of s2 and s4 and partially s3 happened and people were saying that people who are not queer and/or poc shouldn't be writing about these stories, they got in touch with Jünglinge so that we do have queer writers of color. They listen. they really listen and that's why I knew if anyone can do a good original season it'll be them.
I'm so happy with how they're handling this topic. Alcoholism is such a real and common thing and yet it's rarely properly talked about. It's so normalised in our everyday life but then on tv you only ever see alcoholics and addicts as either as these “other people” who just bother you on the street or if it is someone from the family it is usually an abusive creepy alcoholic dad or uncle or something. Like you rarely see the actual humans who suffer from it, you never see the actual effects it has on everybody. You only see the stereotypical sensational twisted view of it. So I'm so glad Druck is opening the theme up and with such nuance so far. we're seeing the three sisters at different stages, we're seeing the mother as both the loving parent who cooks for Nora and plays board games with her while also being absent and manipulative and reckless and selfish. we see the person and we see how much it affects them and how much it affects everyone around them. Now that's some good storytelling if you ask me.
Of course, they can still fuck it up. They probably will fuck it up somehow at some point but that's okay. Druck has proven to me so many times that even if they fuck up they still do a better job than 90% of television shows nowadays.
Anyway once again probably a longer answer than you wanted but you should know that I tend to talk too much. Thank you so much for sending this to me <3  May Nora have a lovely night tonight and no drama and let her be happy little kid for once.

Randou and the Sins of Season 3's Fifteen Adaption (Part 38/???)
Bones' Biggest Changes & Greatest Failures — The Tragedy of Arthur Rimbaud (17/?)
Something Missing: Arahabaki’s Mysterious Memories
In the light novel, nestled between the two main phases (with ‘phases’ appearing to be the equivalent of ‘chapters’ in this story) that contain the previous scene and what anime-only viewers would consider to be the next one, there is a short mini-phase during which we are shown the moment when a mysterious unknown being — whom we will later understand to be Arahabaki — was released into the world from its imprisonment in a strange facility, told partially from its own point of view, though not exactly narrated by it.
Now, before you get ready to sound off in the comments about how that was just unnecessary to include in the adaption when they had already chosen to cover it to some extent later on after Chuuya confesses to Rimbaud about being Arahabaki, or lecture me about the fact that they were pressed for time, and thus couldn’t have done it within the constraints of the three-episode period they had placed upon themselves without sacrificing even more than they already did, yes, I already know and acknowledge all of that, and there’s absolutely no need for you to worry about me judging them “unfairly” for it, because I really didn’t intend to do so from the beginning.
I know this might be a little hard for you to believe, but even though this article may focus chiefly on either pointing out and criticizing the many flaws of the adaption or, perhaps a bit more rarely, praising the things that I feel it did well, just as was the case with some of the lost details of the preceding section, that’s actually not my aim here at all; as a matter of fact, my only motivation in mentioning this was, once more, simply a desire to be thorough in bringing attention to and awareness of that which is missing, while also sharing my full opinion on it — for, even though I understood the reason they cut it and respect the decision, it would still be a lie if I were to claim that I wasn’t just a little bit sad to see it gone from that version, regardless.
I really, really did love how it was handled in the book — with the clever use of Arahabaki’s inability to understand human concepts or the conventions of the physical world around it from within the seal as an excellent excuse to intentionally avoid any mention of its name or identity, and I had always thought that it would make a spectacular ending or opening scene for an episode as a result, since it would undoubtedly help to keep the audience engaged in and curious about the plot.
Nevertheless, as I’ve said, I do understand why they made the choice they did; after all, had it been forcefully crammed somewhere within the trilogy of episodes anyway, in spite of the very limited timeframe that Bones had decided to work with, it absolutely would have ended up as nothing more than an unwelcome filler that took up valuable space, and so, I can easily appreciate that, in this situation, it genuinely was for the best to scrap it and just slip in some kind of nod to it elsewhere, rather than to foolishly try to hold onto it and end up wasting precious runtime in the process.
As for my feelings on how they handled the one scene they did essentially use as a substitute for it, though — well, that is an entirely different story, but I suppose we’ll get to that all in good time. For now, let’s just get back to our usual analyzations of writing, presentation, creative choices and the like of the two renditions, and move on to the party scene, shall we?

I need to read your newest installment, but before I do for the character ask, Myriam/Drakon/Jurian, whichever you want to do 😊
Ohhh, making me choose, are you? Well, this is mean, I want to do all of them😂 But I think squeezing three characters into this one ask might be a little tough, so I think I'm going to settle for Miryam (who would have thought). But if you or anyone else would be interested in the other two, just send me another ask, I'd be more than happy to answer😊
I'm afraid I won't be able to entirely separate between canon and my headcanons here. I'll try, but there is so little on Miryam (and Drakon, for that matter) that any characteristics I deduct from the canon information is also partially a headcanon.
How I feel about this character:
You know I love her😂 I know there isn't all that much information on her in canon, but what we do know (and the headcanons I came up with based on that) are just so fascinating. There's so much potential!
Miryam is honestly my favourite character in all of acotar. I would argue that her her story (escaping from slavery, becoming a leading figure in the War and then returning to free her people) is easily the most intriguing and deep story in the entire book. And her, as a young woman without allies or influence, swearing to free the slaves from one of the most powerful countries at the time and then actually going through with it certainly is just incredibly badass. And her and Drakon were the first people ever to get humans and Fae to live together in peace, which is such an incredible feat.
Besides, I feel like there are far too few (female) characters who don't fight in battle, so I really enjoy her being a healer and being important during the War for other things than fighting. I mean, morally grey characters are well and good, but I also really love characters who are just genuinely kind and compassionate and care about others. That being said, I did get the feeling that she could also be rather ruthless, and I think a chracter who is genuinely kind, but would also do anything to reach her goal is really interesting, because it is so rarely seen. All in all, she's basically my favourite character in acotar.
All the people I ship romantically with this character:
Yes, I actually have ships here. (For once.)
Drakon: I really love him and Miryam together. They are just really cute! From what we saw in canon, they seem to have a really loving, tender relationship. I feel like relationships like this are so incredibly rare in fiction these days, but I don't know, I have a really weak spot for them (especially when both characters are genuinely nice people). I just really like having two characters who genuinely love each other and are happy together without all that added drama. I also like that they (from my take) knew each other for a few years before they fell in love, and that they were both rather mature when they got together. I think that sets the basis for a good relationship, and since they are still together after 500 years, it seems to have worked out well.
Personality-wise, I also think they fit really well. They both value kindness and care a lot about their people. I think they are also different enough that they challenge each other and are good for each other. (I won't say more on that, because I don't want to spoil where my fic is going😉)
I feel like I should probably add that a lot of these are headcanons and I came up them knowing that I wanted Miryam and Drakon to have healthy relationship. I did like what little we saw of their relationship in canon BUT (and that's a huge but) it's all based on two factors. One, there needs to be a good reason for Drakon to have gotten engaged to the Queen of the Black Land. An arranged marriage, him having little choice in it, whatever. It absolutely can't be a case of "he just didn't care about humans being enslaved until he met Miryam". Two, him and Miryam only fall in love later. Not while she is a slave. No way. Him looking for her needs to be explained with something like "he wanted to thank her" not "he was in love with her". Otherwise, it would be just plainly wrong. (I took quite a lot of care to fix these things in my fic😅)
Jurian: Yes, I also ship them, but only for a time period of about four years during the War. After that, I just want them to be friends.
The thing is, Miryam and Jurian actually fit together really well in my opinion. They are both human commanders during the War, fighting for their people's freedom. They would both do anything to reach their goal. Jurian is more sharp and intense, while Miryam prefers to be kind (although she cartainly has edges as well), so they both challenge each other.
I think their stories are in a way mirrors, with them both fighting in the War. They are both ready to do anything for their goals and in the end, they both die for them. The difference, I think, is that Jurian loses track of the main fight in the end. The War is about freeing the humans, but for him, it becomes about getting revenge against Amarantha and Clythia (which is understandable. With all they are doing, I don't blame him for it.)
I like to think that Miryam choosing Drakon in the end it not her choosing a Fae over a human (because I'd absolutely hate that). It's about choosing what kind of person she wants to be, and what life she wants. Her and Jurian were a couple for the War - they were the people who could tear apart the world together. Her and Drakon are the ones who would rebuild things and make them better than they were before.
My non-romantic OTP for this character:
Her with Jurian and Drakon. The three of them together are everything. I know the set-up was likely supposed to be Jurian and Drakon never really liking each other, but I adore the three of them as friends. It's just so amazing in so many ways!
I like how the three of them work together personality-wise. They're all really different people, but in a way that fits together really well, too.
I also think them being friends during the War is kind of poetic. Between them, thes basically mirror the entire alliance (human, half-Fae and Fae; rebel, former slave and Fae royal) and they are each the best in their respective areas. It kind if shows how the world could be if they won the War, if you know what I mean.
I could go on for days about how much I love them together, honestly. And I already know I'm going to break my own heart when I have to write their falling-out...
My unpopular opinion about this character:
I don't think there are any unpopular opinions I can have about her, because most people in the fandom unfortunately care too little to have an opinion😂 But anyways, here comes: I think a trilogy about the War with Miryam as the main character would be a thousand times more interesting than acotar with Feyre as the main character. Even from the little information we get, it already sounds more interesting.
One thing I wish would happen with this character in canon:
You mean other than more plot impact and page time? Well, I can think of AT LEAST three things I desperately want. Do I need to decide on one?
I think I'm going to settle on wanting her to talk things through with Jurian. I know things between them ended badly, but I really want them to move past it and be friends again. Like I said earlier, their characters have some really nice parallels and I think they fit together well enough that they should have a good relationship. (Besides, I keep thinking of how I'm going to have to write the big falling out between Jurian and Miryam and Drakon and it makes me really sad, so I like to imagine that they'll all be friends again after acotar.)
I also want Miryam to canonically be a witch. That headcanon is really a favourite of mine, and I think it fits perfectly. I actually keep forgetting that it isn't canon😂

Ramblings and crazy theory time about GK chap 230 “Ienaga Kano”
So with the new chapter we get a split in the fandom on how to nickname Tsukishima. While the Japanese fandom goes for ‘Surekill-man’ a reference to a fanassigned nicknamed for a character in the ‘Jojo no kimyō na bōken’ universe, the western fandom went for something obviously more ‘western’…
Tumblr media
…to be honest with various variations of the nick, from purely ‘The Terminator’ from the homonymous movie to ‘The Tsukishima’ or ‘Tsukishimator’ and so on (I went with the one that would fit better in the space in the image, that and Merdopseudo liked it, my apologies to the nicks not used, you’re all cool but ‘there can be only one’).
But let’s start with the chapter and with how Tsukishima gained this nick.
We left him having been injected a sedative by Ienaga and yet still managing to shoot her to death. It’s worth to point out Ienaga’s sedatives need some time to affect people and our Tsukinator is trying to take advantage of it to make a short work of Tanigaki.
Really, we knew Tsukishima, pardon, the Tsukinator was good at hand-to-hand combat but not really how much. Tanigaki is supposedly good as well, bigger than him and not drugged and our supposedly sedated Tsukinator is literally wiping the floor with him without even breaking a sweat and Tanigaki manages only narrowly to have him miss shooting his brain off.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Luckily for Tanigaki when it looks as if the Tsukinator will get better luck with his next shoot, the sedative kickes in (with the Tsukinator’s veins becoming rather visible as if they were some sort of monster crawling on his face)
Tumblr media
and the Tsukinator’s falls, his face flat on Tanigaki’s ample chest.
Ienaga, still alive, tells Inkarmat, who’s naively trying to stop the blood pouring out of her, about how the Tsukinator wouldn’t SUPPOSEDLY be able to move for two hours.
Tanigaki, always the righteous, gives Ienaga a look that Ienaga correctly interpret with ‘why would a selfish, evil criminal like you do something like that?’.
Tumblr media
Tanigaki represents that sort of naïve people that divide the world in two blocks, the purely evil ones and the purely good ones and misses how actually there’s a lot of middle ground in between the two groups and purely evil and purely good hardly exist if not in fairy tales.
As Ienaga did PLENTY of terrible deeds Tanigaki doesn’t care for her motivations nor expects her to feel also positive emotions like love or care and do something good like helping them. He put her in the box of the evil people and thinks there’s no way she would get out of it and do something good.
On the contrary side he perceives himself as being among the good guys, as proved by the previous chapter in which he said he wasn’t cold blooded enough to kill a friend, Sugimoto, conveniently forgetting he wanted to do the same to Kenkichi and that he did the same to Kiro (who saved his and Inkarmat’s life by the way) and doesn’t realize the ‘greyness’ in himself, feeling free to judge negatively Ogata and Nikaido for betraying Tsurumi but thinking instead that he is entitled to do the same.
This, of course, doesn't mean Tanigaki is evil, he’s merely human and therefore flawed.
I love this side of him as a character, I love how human Tanigaki is in his own good sides and in his own bad sides but, on the other hand it clearly makes me angry when he acts like a blind hypocrite. It’s human... but it’s no good at all.
Anyway Ienaga explains her own reasons which are… very simple.
Inkarmat, who’s about to give birth, is, for Ienaga, about to become ‘perfect’. Evidently the trauma of her mother’s abort, which twisted Ienaga and turned her into a bloody murderer and cannibal, rules her life not only pushing her to do heinous acts but also in a positive way. She wants to save this pregnant woman, she wants her to attain the ‘perfection’ neither her or her mother could attain. And it’s clear Ienaga is completely content with giving up her life for this, in fact she’s smiling and telling Tanigaki to not lose this moment.
Inkarmat is touched. Tanigaki just pulls Inkarmat up and tells her to leave without even a word of thank you for the person who gave her life so that they could escape. Inkarmat’s gaze instead is still on Ienaga and since she doesn’t seem to really try to get up I wonder if this is because she feels bad for Ienaga, for leaving her behind.
Tumblr media
Not that she can be saved.
This, mind you, doesn’t mean Ienaga is now a good person or that she gets redeemed by this single heroic act. Ienaga is a terrible person who did terrible things and who’s helping Inkarmat only because, for her own reasons, she had come to care about her.
It’s entirely possible Ienaga doesn’t regret a single terrible thing she had done in life and, had she survived, she would have continued to try to chop people and eat them for their own purposes… except Inkarmat for whom she had grown fond.
On the other side the cover of the chapter, placed here and showing Ienaga’s body, depicts the sprays of blood that came out of her as forming a halo and wings, while the writing points out that Ienaga became perfect in that very moment, by giving her own life for someone else.
Tumblr media
If this is Noda nodding to Christian faith again, the implication is that yes, Ienaga regretted what she did in the past and that she would be forgiven, not by men but by God.
After all, according to many, ‘Who saves a life saves the world’.
Yeah, yeah, among fans it’s a controversial topic.
The tropes of ‘death equals redemption’ and ‘redemption equals death’ are overused to the point they feel cheap and that’s due to fans themselves. As James Norrington said ‘The problem with a 'redemption' gig is, well, no one wants to see it. They all want to believe in it, sure, but to do it... it's as good as signing your own death warrant. Audiences don't want to see you redeemed, living a normal life. They'll never truly forgive you for your flaws as long as you're alive.’
Long story short, authors who decide to portray that EVERYONE can do a heel-face turn, that you can stop doing evil things, that is never too late to become a good person which is a great message really, also end up heroically killing off characters who decide to do something good for a change, so as to appease the fans who can’t forgive them and just want them to never realize the errors of their way and die a miserable death (or, when they feel merciful, spend their life being miserable).
Well, if that’s your kind of story, you’re free to roll with it.
De gustibus non disputandum est.
I’m personally not sure that, had Ienaga survived, after this heroic act of her, the trauma that pushed her into becoming the person she was, would be magically healed and she would become a morally perfect person... or at least as morally perfect as a human can be (not much really unless you’re in air of sainthood) and OF COURSE there’s no way she could ‘pay back’ all the people she killed as... well… they’re dead (I know there’s a lot of confusion about it but redemption isn’t about being forgiven, nor is about giving your life in a heroic way, redemption is about paying back the people you wronged... unless of course you use religion and have the character atone for his sins against God by redeeming himself to His eyes and not really by redeeming himself to his victims)  but I like the idea Noda is hinting this could have helped her to change their ways.
A perfect world would be perfect if all the criminals just were to change their ways and become good people, not if the jails could contain them all or if they were to drop all dead in a ‘Death Note’ style (though, when we talk about fictional works, there’s a bit of Yagami Light in all the fans… :P ). We need good men more than we need jails filled and corpses.
But well, this of course is just an utopia, sinning is addictive and changing your life is hellish hard. It happens even in real life, but is sadly very rare.
Anyway Tanigaki and Ienaga leave Inkarmat’s room only to meet up with Koito, pointing his gun at them. Tanigaki, who was pushing ahear Inkarmat, now places her behind himself but Koito is clearly torn. He’s sweating and chewing his lower lip as he lower his gaze as well before lowering his gun too and telling them to leave.
Tumblr media
The two run away, always without thanking him, but then Tanigaki wonders why Koito left them go.
Inkarmat points out that when Koito was bedridden she spent a lot of time telling fortunes to him but Tanigaki rejects the idea. The Second Lieutenant Koito he knows wouldn’t have shown mercy to a person who had shown kindness to him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
While this is partially true, as part of Koito’s actions are clearly motivated by how he had lost faith in Tsurumi and Tsukishima due to discovering how he was used by them, I still think him letting Inkarmat go is also part due to him growing fond of her.
She was with him and cheered him up when he was wounded and weak and, in a way, in enemy ground. I think this was precious to him and Inkarmat, who’s clearly not a naive person, probably realized it. Koito knows he can’t escape, he doesn’t take that chance to run away as well, but it’s worth to mention if Tsurumi were to realize he let them go, Koito could end up in troubles as well and maybe he’s afraid Tsukishima too could put him in troubles since he warned him if he were to betray he would kill him. Koito also is risking his own life to help them, and, I think, is something he’s not doing solely out of the kindness of his heart but out of genuine care for Inkarmat.
She won him over a little.
It’s also sad how Tanigaki thinks that Inkarmat’s kindness should have gone unrewarded on Koito. He doesn’t think the time she spent with him would affect Koito, that he would grow to care for her. He sees Koito as a lost cause, a man uncapable of showing thankfullness and apprecciation for the kindness he received.
Koito is in another box for bad guys from which Tanigaki didn’t think Koito should have been able to get off and instead he did. People don’t change to Tanigaki, he has no hope for them to get better, to improve themselves, to develop positive relations or to do good thing. Once evil, always evil.
It’s a sad, hopeless and cold view.
I think even Nihei would be hurt by it.
Meanwhile Tanigaki put in action his ‘bright plan’ of escaping with Inkarmat on a horse a mean of transportation surely perfectly comfortable for a pregnant woman who could give birth at any minute and whose speed wouldn’t resent at all of the fact it has to carry two people, one of which at the nth month of pregnancy plus whatever Tanigaki has in those bags he hung to the horse and his own backpack.
Now… remember when I said the Tsukinator was meant to be out of commission for supposedly two hours?
Well, we wished.
The Tsukinator, despite the sedative, manages to get up, grab a rifle, shoot in Tanigaki’s direction and recharge before… falling again. Honestly I’m not sure if he has fainted or he just slipped off the bed due to lack of coordination. Nothing stop the Tsukinator as we’ll see later on.... but after all we knew it.
Tumblr media
‘Listen, and understand, Tanigaki. That Tsukinator is out there, it cant be bargained with, it cant be reasoned with, it doesn't feel pity or remorse or fear, and it absolutely will not stop... EVER, untill you are dead!’
Too bad Tanigaki can’t hear me lecturing him about the Tsukinator....
Meanwhile as Tanigaki and Inkarmat escape, as it was easy to predict, the rocking of the horse of course starts to affect Inkarmat. Tanigaki realizes he was going too fast and, since they managed to make to the edge of the Otaru he thinks they’re far enough and safe enough they can stop there in an abandoned building.
As Tanigaki lights a fire, Inkarmat notes there’s blood coming from his head so he uses the Matanpushi (the headband Huci gave him) to bandage it, claiming he’ll be fine.
Tumblr media
Honestly I don’t really find respectful to use that headband as a makeshift bandage as the Matanpushi has a religious meaning among Ainu, in fact it tells Gods where they are and calls their protection on the wearer. I can understand Huci using it as such, to ask the Gods to protect Tanigaki, but, as I doubt Tanigaki is now an Ainu Gods believer, it just feels a bit inappropriate.
On the other side in desperate times people would beg at whatever altar they would find and I also wonder if, in a way, this makes Tanigaki feel as he felt when he was escaping from Ogata and Nikaido so in a way he is hoping Huci’s headband will give him protection not so much through the Gods in which Huci’s believes but just because it’s Huci’s headband... which again is very human and also rather sweet.
(Besides there are huge chances Tanigaki has no idea of the religious meaning tied to it...)
We can also see that Tanigaki’s irises recover their light colour now that he’s wearing it so yes, I think it has a good psychological effect on him and it’s not just something he picked up at random.
Anyway Tanigaki plans to have them rest only a little and then escape farther.
Inkarmat notes Tanigaki is losing blood from his leg also, which Tanigaki thinks is the result of Tsukishima shooting at them earlier and which he notices only now since he was so busy escaping he didn’t even felt the pain it should give him.
While this is kind of normal and points rather well to Tanigaki’s inner state, so completely focused on escaping he basically didn’t even felt pain, not checking on his own conditions is a huge mistake. Not only loss of blood makes him weaker and could have caused him to faint, making him useless and giving Inkarmat more troubles but his dripping blood left a convenient track the Tsukinator followed till there.
And that’s why I think Tsukishima didn’t faint, he only fell because, on his feet he basically reached Tanigaki and Inkarmat who escaped on a horse in no time as they only apparently had time to light the fire before being discovered. The Tsukinator is even faster than Jason Voorhees in tailing after his victims despite being on his feet and drugged… but Noda has already assigned the comparison with Jason to Sugimoto so I’ll stick with the Tsukinator…
Anyway the Tsukinator tries to shoot Tanigaki but he narrowly misses him.
Tumblr media
Either Tanigaki is lucky, due to the Matanpushi the Gods are really protecting him or Tsukishima is still partially affected by the sedative. Anyway Tanigaki tells Inkarmat to escape from the back as he tries to shoot the Tsukinator and… miss him despite the Tsukinator being only few steps from him as the Tsukinator lowers himself, pushes Tanigaki on the ground and then punches him hard.
Tanigaki, taking advantage of his superior size and strength, grabs the Tsukinator up and tosses him against a wall so hard the Tsukinator crashes through it.
Think this signs a score for Tanigaki? Think twice.
The result of Tanigaki’s efforts is that when Tanigaki grabs his rifle and tries to shoot him, the Tsukinator had all the time to hide, protected by the walls.
Tanigaki looks out, and luckily for him the Tsukinator isn’t into position yet as Tanigaki’s head would have been a beautiful target right then.
Way to go, Tanigaki, really.
Inkarmat calls him so Tanigaki reaches her and again they escape on a horse. Again.
The Tsukinator shoots Tanigaki in the shoulder...
Tumblr media
...before faithfully ‘hopping’ after them at a leisurely pace with a calm and a determination that betrays how he took lessons from Pepé Le Pew only, to Pepé and Tsurumi’s displeasure, what pushes him forward to chase and attempt to kill Tanigaki, is clearly not ‘love’.
Anyway morning as come and Inkarmat and Tanigaki are still escaping on a horse, conveniently leaving blood track on the snow that the Tsukinator can follow. They might as well leave direction signs.
Tumblr media
Tanigaki though is optimist. Now he has a rifle so, he thinks, the Tsukinator will keep more at distance (he wishes) and besides since he’s more at home in the mountains than him they will easily lose him if he will hide there with a pregnant woman about to give birth and for whom all those emotions and the horse ride clearly aren’t good.
Tumblr media
As on cue and strictly following Murphy’s law, Inkarmat’s water breaks and Tanigaki’s oh so perfect plan to slowly reach the mountains and lose the Tsukinator there crashes when facing the logistics of how to deal with an impending childbirth that Ienaga had warned him was about to happen. But no, do not listen to the amazing doctor when the latter is also a criminal who just died to save your ass.
Tumblr media
So Tanigaki APOLOGIZES TO THE HORSE because he is leaving him behind and mind him, this is nice and everything but what about thanking Ienaga, who died for you and Koito who risked his ass for you?
Tumblr media
Meanwhile the Tsukinator moves closer following the trail of blood he can notice also in a bamboo grove… to discover Tanigaki’s horse which now has a wound on his leg, likely made by Tanigaki as the horse before seemed perfectly fine.
The Tsukinator understands he was misleaded into chasing the horse and his brain computer analyze the situation to set on a new course… and soon it’ll become obvious it’s not really difficult to get which one.
Meanwhile Tanigaki, who’s about to become father, carries Inkarmat bridal stile running through the snow repeating the classic sentences Panicky Expectant Fathers says to their wives when they’re about to give birth to a baby: ‘you can do this, grit your teeth and bear it, it’s gonna be okay, I’m with you, you can do this, everything will work out… yadda, yadda’.
Tumblr media
Mind you, it’s nice from them as it’s not like there’s something they can do except saying such things and being of moral support with their presence but it’s a trope so abused seeing it in this scene somehow made me laugh instead than feel the drama that’s obviously looming over him and Inkarmat due to them being in an obviously very dire situation.
And it’s worth to mention that Inkarmat, same as all the other pregnant women, appreciates a lot Tanigaki’s efforts to reassure her.
Tumblr media
Moral support might seem nothing much but sometimes it can also do miracles and it’s great to know there’s someone with you that encourages you when you’re in such a desperate situation, a rock against which you can hold so as not to be dragged away by waves.
So she smiles and hugs Tanigaki tightly and tries to hold on.
It’s a good moment.
Yeah, Tanigaki went into this without the sliver of a decent plan but at least he decided to stick with the people that were important for him and not leave them alone at the first sign of trouble.
Tanigaki has plenty of faults and flaws but, despite this I think it’s so IMPORTANT how he decided to stay with Inkarmat through thick and thin when so many other men would have washed their hands clean of her and the baby.
Maybe Tanigaki can’t give us lessons about planning or about not being hypocrites but sure as hell he’s trying his hardest to be a good companion and a good father and this is GREAT, really.
He’s wounded, he has lost blood and yet he’s running in the snow with all their luggage and Inkarmat, who’s pregnant, in his arms.
The Tsukinator can be scary in the way he doesn’t stop his chase but Tanigaki, who’s instead moved by love, is amazing.
Sadly though, Tanigaki isn’t really good at planning things and this definitely plays against him.
So Tanigaki, running like a madman, reaches the most predictable destination in the neighbourhood of Otaru in which he could hope to get help, Huci’s house, where we can see next to her the son of Sakamoto, the Lighting Bandit and O-gin who now had grown enough he can sit on his own.
Tumblr media
While yes, in this place they can find someone who’ll help Inkarmat, it’s not like The Tsukinator couldn’t guess Tanigaki would take this course, it was obvious enough that escaping with a woman who’s about to give birth they should find a place in which said woman could give birth and Huci’s house is close enough so I expect the Tsukinator to figure this out and reach them in no time. I honestly doubt Tanigaki will manage to repeat the same trick he used with Ogata as, first of all, at this point it wouldn’t be wise to move Inkarmat for a while and this includes also just after she gave birth and he can’t leave her behind or she and her child will become hostages Tsukishima and Tsurumi can use against him or kill off in retaliation for his escape and this now includes Huci as well since Tanigaki has ended up involving her.
Due to Tanigaki’s huge involvement in Kiro’s death (Kiro died of blood loss mainly caused by the wound Tanigaki gave him) he’ll likely be a victim of the tiger curse and condemned to live an unhappy life meaning there are chances he won’t be the one to die here but that he’ll lose everything here.
Tsukishima is in no better position as he also contributed to Kiro’s death albeit in a smaller manner (the wound Tsukishima inflicted him did negligible harm compared to Tanigaki’s although it clearly didn’t help, actually it only speeded up Kiro’s death) so let’s talk a bit about him.
Tsukishima didn’t need to become The Tsukinator, as I called him through this whole rambling.
He attempted to stop Tanigaki, he was drugged, they went away, he could have told Tsurumi he just passed out, Koito kept on sleeping and be done with the whole business.
Tanigaki is just a man who wants to go back home, he isn’t interested in the gold hunt nor in stopping Tsurumi, he wants to get the woman he loves and have a family with her. Inkarmat is a woman who due to her past with Wilk ended up becoming a pawn to him and now she apparently merely wants to have a family with Tanigaki. The incoming baby has no fault of his own and can’t prove to be a threat.
Why just not letting them go? Why do they need to be killed or captured at any cost?
Is the baby’s actually Tsurumi? Did they experimented on the fetus so as to create the perfect soldier or the antichrist himself? Does Inkarmat know earth shattering  secrets that can’t be revealed to anyone?
Tsukishima was willing to let go Gansoku, a criminal. When Koito unveiled the truth Tsukishima let it slide as long as Koito played along with Tsurumi.
So why not letting go Tanigaki, Inkarmat and the baby?
Just because they aren’t okay with being used as a pawns like he is? Just because they want to have the ordinary happy life Tsukishima was denied? Or it’s because in this way it won’t come out Koito let them go?
I don’t know but I can’t say I like what Tsukishima is doing. He could turn the other way to save three lives, he could turn the other way as he does each time Tsurumi commits a crime and instead he decided to stick with Tsurumi against three people who, apparently, can’t really do Tsurumi harm. I’m really sad he chose to be that way.
On another note there’s something I wanted to remark in the past chapter but forgot about it so I’ll mention it here. I love how Noda handles Inkarmat’s pregnancy.
In many cases in manga a pregnant woman is often moving around like a not-pregnant woman, using her protruding belly like a hand rest and maybe being a little slow and fatigued but overall acting as she usually do.
Inkarmat moves exactly like a pregnant woman instead, not using her belly as a hand rest but protecting and holding it with her hands, taking it into consideration when she moves around and even when she’s in a seating position she clearly have to adjust it to make it comfortable for herself now that she’s in her 9th month. Noda really did his homework with her.
Anyway with this chapter we end volume 23, with Tanigaki coming back to Huci without Asirpa and with a woman about to give birth and a Tsukinator tailing after them in a situation that really sounds like it will become a déjà vu of volume 5.
Ogata back then didn’t want to shoot Tanigaki in Huci’s house so as not to have to kill her too and ended up allowing Tanigaki to get an advantage over him. We’ll see what the Tsukinator will do… and we’ll see what Tanigaki will do now as well, so as to ensure Inkarmat, his kid and Huci (as well as Sakamoto and O-gin’s baby) will get out of this safely.
Hopefully maybe, being back on the mountains will give him back his planning ability.
Using the horse to lead Tsukishima in the wrong direction wasn’t a bad idea even if the course he took afterward became then far too predictable. On a sidenote… in that circumstance Nikaido was there as well and Tsukishima watched as Tsurumi cut his ear. I do wonder… was Nikaido still at the hospital? Does he know what’s going on? Will he join them? And with whom he’ll side?
Tanigaki who caused him to be attacked by a bear or Tsukishima who stood by as Tsurumi cut his ear and would have let the latter kill him without blinking?
It would really be interesting to have Nikaido join the party with a ‘personal’ position instead than just the one of the soldier who has to obey to Tsurumi’s orders.
As the tiger curse said they’re supposed to live an unhappy life, unless I’m misinterpreting something, the curse won’t attempt to their lives, just at making them miserable. Still, we’ll see. I don’t want Inkarmat, the baby and Huci to die but I get this could be appropriate karmic retribution for Tanigaki. We’ll see.
In a way, while the previous chapter pushed forward a comparison between Tanigaki’s escape plan (or lack thereoff) and Ogata’s escape plan, this chapter is all a comparison in strenght and endurance between Tsukishima and Tanigaki. They fight, they keep on going even when other men would just give up, with a desperation and a determination that makes me think of Kiro in his last moments and that might be done on purpose in case the tiger curse is looming on them.
Kiroranke is looking down on them from above, seeing them as they struggle like he did, seeing them, who in the past had a good relation, fight without mercy like Tanigaki did with him.
We’ll see how it’ll end for both of them but sure thing the irony in all this is big.
Last but not least a question that’s going to stay unanswered for now. Who between the Tsukinator, the killer rabbit of Caerbannog, the 6 million yen man  and Jasonmoto would win should they come to a hand-to-hand fight? We’ll probably discover this in the future.

Me thinking out loud to myself about warriors and its writing style and trying to figure out why I struggle with it
I wish I had more solid knowledge about story structure and writing because a lot of my feelings about warriors and its writing style are very difficult for me to put into words, especially pertaining to its flaws. Like there are so many times where I know something is wrong and not working but I can’t figure out what or why. A lot of the time when I critique warriors I’m guessing at what I think the problem is and then I read it later and think “no that’s not it necessarily...” (hence why I have unlisted a lot of my old rant posts) ..but what is wrong?
I’ve said before I don’t really like Warriors writing style but i’m struggling to figure out what it is that’s making it hard to get engaged with the story. Because there are a lot of narrative descriptions (especially when describing nature) that are genuinely very pretty and vivid. So it’s not that
The most notable thing sticking out to me right now is how warriors writes character death or tragedy. There are a couple times when it works for me (I actually really like Leafpool’s send off in Squirrelflight’s Hope) but most of the time it feels unbelievably lifeless and robotic. But...why? It feels that way but why does it feel that way?
It’s like they say “this character is sad” over and over (Can you take a shot every time somebody’s voice is “thick with grief”?) but I don’t feel it. I rarely believe that any one is that sad. Often times the current POV character will periodically in the following chapters, or even into the next book, be like “a pang of grief filled so-and-so’s chest as he was suddenly reminded of *dead character*” so it’s not necessarily that the death is never brought up again. But...It still feels lifeless. It doesn’t effect me at all. Maybe because every death and grieving process feels the same? Maybe because those sentences of reflection on a dead character go on for like two seconds before the protag gets back to what they were doing, so it doesn’t feel like grief is having a tangible impact on them? If you took the occasional sentence reflecting on a recently dead character out, nothing about the story or characters changes because no one’s life is ever actually that different when someone dies?
that’s just me guessing again. I’m sure there’s at least a couple instances where a characters death actually impacted someone’s life in a noticeable way, beyond just the narration pausing every now and again to verbally remind you “btw they are still sad, ok now back to the hunting patrol” But I can’t think of very many.
There’s probably several factors at play and I don’t know how to pinpoint them rn. I suppose I should think why death in other stories feels impactful to me, and what warriors doesn’t have that those stories do, but the thing about good art is that when the technical stuff is working, you don’t notice it because that means that it’s doing it’s job. It’s tricking your brain into feeling real feelings about fake events that didn’t happen, and you just feel it. You don’t pause to wonder why it worked, you’re just caught up in a story. You’re only taken out of the story and reminded of the technical aspects of writing when something isn’t working.
Even when warriors does occasionally make me feel a feeling, I have to wonder...is it actually the writing doing it, or is it me visually re-imagining the scene, mentally tweaking the dialogue to make a more emotionally poignant image? that is something I do a lot, I can easily make myself cry when I write or imagine my own things. I don’t know. I can’t think of what the few “good” deaths in warriors are doing differently from the many “bad” ones.
This is only so frustrating to me because I know it’s very easy to just critique things. Bad things are more noticeable than good things. I don’t want to just say “this is bad lol” at everything for eternity, I want to figure out the alternative I’m craving so much. Right now I feel like I only know a whole lot of what NOT to do, and not what elements are necessary to do instead. What is warriors writing style not doing that I wish it was doing??? Having only partial approximate knowledge of art things is such a nightmare
I wish someone more knowledgeable would make one of those 2 hour long deconstructive video essays analyzing warriors writing style lmao

Give me your thoughts on uuuh Jake
wew boy
okay. gonna word dump this, and probably other interpretation asks, so I can get the words out there.
from my POV, there’s 3 types of canon Jake + 1 fanon vers + my personal interpretation. lemme explain what they are;
Book Jake, who I don’t have enough experience with bc I STILL haven’t finished the book… >_>;
2River Jake, who is kinda oblivious and very in-the-moment impulsive (not so bad he’s jumping place to place ADHD like Rich, but like, not considering that maybe dropping everything to seduce Madeline or Christine is a bad idea when he clearly really likes Chloe). these are debatably survival mechanisms bc of his family (and wealth, if you want to go into the “being rich actually traumatizes you and locks you into dissociation” theory–but to be fair, this is partially reliant on thinking Jake is Genuinely Rich. … well, not Rich as in… yeah); ignoring any pain he feels in favor of getting dicked down and forgetting about everything for a while. very “I’m not sad, I’m busy!!!!!”
Bway (possibly the new canon general for all Jakes since it sounds like London’s is modeled after him but just… toned down), who is still oblivious, but towards other people’s emotions instead of himself; he’s manipulative, a little impulsive but a lot more malicious about it, and he knows exactly how hurt he is about his parents. this jake’s awareness of himself makes him act worse because he knows this is the only thing that seems to help and it’s basically the only thing he actually has control of. his wealthiness is undeniably present and Bad here because the reason taking what he wants and not caring that it hurts people is his main coping skill is pretty much only because he’s been allowed that privilege all his life. i tend to think this version of him should be done by a white cishet dude (despite jake’s actor on bway being genuinely FANTASTIC) bc being marginalized in a high school should’ve curved a lot of the “endless power and privilege” he gets for being rich (Not That One).
[i… think this jake has ‘better’/more nuanced writing in BWay… but i don’t think it fits the musical nor is it the overall direction i think it should’ve gone. BMC feels best to me when there’s a heavier element of Dark Humor that briefly nods to a Larger and more Fucked Up world behind the bit we see in the musical. making it largely a twisted comedy, maybe even ramping that up further with more whiplash lines like jake’s “which means the house is empty, so that’s fun”]
Fanon Jake is… like most of the fanon characters in BMC, a bit… “bipolar” (like, radically shifting depending on the situation). the BMC fandom has been born with heavy engagement from minors in the current fascist climate of fandom as a whole. as a result, you have three general uses of jake that as “approved of” by somehow the exact same people despite being conflicting in a lot of ways. THIS IS NOT ME SHITTING ON FANON, i actually think most of this fandom is just a casual romp for most people and that shouldn’t be snatched away from them nor mocked nor treated like you HAVE to be logically consistent when this is just a fun hobby for most… but there are still trends i notice:
1: Jake the sweet bi disaster who loves their significant other and is just a little bit hopeless in their silliness and Down For Whatever-esque personality. this is often used for shippy pictures and memes and cute little oneshots, plus, of course, fluff.
2: Jake the tragic abuse victim who is extremely sad and has to learn to love again and has always been selfless, plus or minus a permanent disability post-fire. this is of course used for hurt/comfort, plus in combination kinda with michael in the bathroom-esque posts and tragic art, often also used as an example of the squip being the worst for jeremy or rich guilt trauma. also: aesthetic and moodboard posts.
3: the one I have the least good will towards: Jake the “why does everybody woobify mlm? You can’t portray him without flaws! queer boys aren’t your fetish!!!” with an attached, clunkily written reasons why he was an asshole that is also simultaneously watered down so you don’t think he’s a Monster bc then you’d be vilifying queer men (well, more like they’d feel bad about their cutesy-er ‘emotional support’ art and writing which is Totally Different from all the other cutesy emotional support art and writing).
basically, Meta Trying To Make Jake Reasonably Flawed But Not Evil in this fandom is RARELY genuine–it’s more often than not moralistic hand-wringing made so that they can wash themselves of the guilt for actually enjoying something with a character they portray as mlm, or otherwise the guilt of enjoying anything romantic or sexual involving men or queer people period when we’re apparently not supposed to do that anymore, as decreed by the radfems infesting our spaces.
and, well, or you’re an mlm writing this post, you’re probably young and still feeling extremely sensitive and scared about your identity. i once saw a very wise post by a trans person who had been trans for a long time, who said that when you first come out as trans (or queer in general, but especially trans people who are beginning social or physical transition and coming to terms with themselves) you are obvs on High Fucking Alert and so you’re insecure and scared of anything, ranging from “obvious transphobia” to “just trans people enjoying themselves and exploring transphobia in fiction or else their own sexuality”. again, this can relate to a lot of identities tbh, and as such young mlm either cis or trans can get very Itchy about people enjoying mlm content.
anyway.
wrapping it back around to me: i edit jake on a case by case basis (sometimes i even make him eviler or meaner based on what’s set up during Bway, he’s just not my usual go-to villain), but i tend to think of him as a tragic Mr. Peanutbutter-y sweetheart who kinda knows he feels like shit yet also knows that if he stops to assess it, it would make his life a lot harder in a time where he can’t afford that. his relationship with chloe is extremely toxic (chloe abuses him horribly, specifically), and so he tries to claw his way out of it only to be continually back in by chloe and her bullshit.
this is why he doesn’t really get... well. he genuinely thought the thing with christine was going to be permanent; he wasn’t jerking her around, he thought he was over chloe and wanted a girl as cool and fun and genuinely nice as her. afterward he Gets It, and so feels Really Bad--at a time where he doesn’t have his house, his legs are broken (i don’t tend to put him in a perma-wheelchair), his parents have abandoned him, and he best friend is in the hospital. guilt crashes in on him from all sides, and he just has to... pretend it isn’t, even as he can no longer stop himself from thinking about it.
if i was to do a jake focused story, it’d probably be a dating sim where you play as him and watch his life change in conjunction with his attempts to find happiness again; you can either choose decisions that help him greatly or ruin his life so ver much... hmm. lets file that under hashtag “story ideas i’ll never use even though they could be great”
to wrap this up: i like jake. i don’t... really enjoy most of the written content (fanfic, meta, sometimes even the storylines on ask blogs) in this fandom about him or... really, most of the characters, which i feel bad about--i’d enjoy it more if it was every in conjunction with my usual Wants in a fic, which is, like. extreme angst.
BUT
i do still like jake, and i can super enjoy his portrayal in memes and visual art
he’s just not my total fave, but like, the reason he tends not to come up a lot in my content is more what i’m focusing on and why. i’d be happy to use him in stories if his presence fit.
as a bonus
here’s the ships i’m happy to use him for, generally: deere, michael/jake, brooke/jake, toxic chloe/jake, and of course, different ocs/jake
his identities/labels: cis, bisexual/romantic... tho sometimes i actually go for bisexual and aromantic! outside bway and eviler jakes, i’m good with him being any race, and even then it’s just a matter of suspending disbelief re: privilege theory. also, PTSD probably, and maybe generalized anxiety as a result. maaaaaybe autistic too? adhd would be a hard sell for me since he seems super put together in a way that’d be extremely difficult for every form of adhd, but i can see him being neurodivergent on the spectrum + like dyslexia maybe. oh, and i sorta-kinda think he may be color blind? but really i’d drop that at a moment’s notice if it’d be easier to write him without it lol.
his interests: one is more or less sports in general, tho i think that, unless he went straight for track or swimming or something Olympics (which he probably can’t do now...), that’s a high school or some college only focus for him. so, besides sports, i think he’d kinda like the satisfaction and steady growth of Collecting Rare Things That You Have To Look For, like cool rocks, bugs, etc.
as for careers... some form of doctor something, maybe a businessman of some sort but he’d likely try to curve his power in that field as much as possible; he inherits his parents' assets and company or whatever, but he probably takes a backseat to that and only really has it out of a sense of ‘it’s my job as my parent’s kid to keep the company going--without engaging in the same awful legal issues they did--for as long as i can’. one of my fave jake-is-there stories, vanceypant’s spicy bis-focused fic 1999, has him owning a restaurant, and that was cool as hell.
also jake loves dogs. especially golden retrievers. yes.

My 15 favorite theater experiences of 2019
In no particular order:
1. Choir Boy (Samuel Friedman Theatre, New York, NY): I say in no particular order, but if you know anything about me, you know that Choir Boy is my number-one show of the year. I saw it four times on Broadway and twice in Boston. Tarell Alvin McCraney’s writing is so beautiful, human, and fearless. He puts works of art on stages, television, and film that nobody else does. Jeremy Pope’s performance as Pharus is easily in the top three greatest performances I’ve seen on a Broadway stage. If your local regional theater is doing this show, I cannot encourage you enough to go and see it.
2. What the Constitution Means to Me (Helen Hayes Theater, New York, NY): This show was unlike any other play I’ve seen before. Heidi Schreck, who wrote and starred in WTCMTM, wrote a deeply human, poignant, and timely play about a document written by a bunch of rich, white men a few centuries ago and made it gripping, engaging, and relevant. It’s a show I believe every American should see. As an added bonus, Heidi is genuinely one of the kindest people I’ve met.
3. The Wrong Man (MCC Theater, New York, NY): I saw The Wrong Man for the first time three weeks before it closed, and I immediately fell in love with it and went back several more times in those three weeks. The Wrong Man is only ninety minutes long and has only three main characters, but it presents an engaging story about forgiveness, mercy, justice, guilt, and innocence. Ross Golan, the composer/lyricist, began performing The Wrong Man as a concept album thirteen years ago and turned it into a full musical. The score is beautiful and has some really great bops, and the choreography is probably the best I’ve ever seen.
4. Waitress with Sara Bareilles and Gavin Creel (Brooks Atkinson Theatre, New York, NY): I’m personally not the biggest fan of Waitress, but this was one of the most fun nights I had in a theater this year. Sara and Gavin had amazing chemistry, and I have never laughed so much at Waitress before.
5. A Strange Loop (Playwrights Horizons, New York, NY): A Strange Loop is unlike any show I’ve ever seen before. It’s unlike anything anyone has seen before. How many shows center around a fat, black, queer character? I can’t think of any. Michael R. Jackson, the book writer/composer/lyricist, has an incredible ability to write satire that has you laughing at the same time you’re being punched in the face emotionally. A Strange Loop grapples with the intersections of racism, homophobia, and fatphobia. It’s meta at the same time it’s grounded, and gets more and more intense as the show progresses. I walked out of the theater in a daze after I saw it. My fingers are crossed it comes to Broadway.
5. Mean Girls, Taylor Louderman’s last show (August Wilson Theatre, New York, NY): Going to Mean Girls is a routine thing for me, and I’ve seen the show dozens of times, but every once in awhile something special happens that reignites my love for this show. Taylor’s last show was obviously incredibly sad for me, the cast, and everyone who loves this show, but I also laughed more and harder on this evening than I have in a very long time at Mean Girls. Everyone, especially Taylor, was giving this performance their all, and I’ll never forget it.
6. The Secret Life of Bees (Atlantic Theater Company, New York, NY): I had suspicions I was really going to love this show before I saw it, but I absolutely fell in love with it. The music is gorgeous (thank you, Duncan Sheik), the performances are stellar, and the story, though set decades ago, is as timely and relevant as ever. I do cry at shows pretty often, but rarely do I tear up because of how overwhelmingly beautiful a show is—but I did that at Secret Life of Bees. I’m still impatiently waiting on that Broadway transfer announcement.
7. Beetlejuice (Winter Garden Theatre, New York, NY): Despite all its flaws, I love this crazy, loud, obnoxious, wild show so much. I had seen it in DC and counted down the days until first preview on Broadway. I rushed first preview and ended up with front-row tickets, and I had one of the most fun nights in a theater I’ve ever had. The performances really make the show, and I’ve been very vocal about how I strongly believe Leslie Kritzer was snubbed by the Tonys. Beetlejuice also has my favorite scenic design for any show. I also have a uniquely personal connection to this showL Beetlejuice used to have a joke in the show I felt was offensive, so I reached out to Eddie Perfect and Alex Timbers and explained to them why I was hurt by it, and they actually listened to my feedback and removed the joke. I’m hoping Beetlejuice can find another home after June, because I’m not ready to say goodbye yet.
8. Next to Normal (Ground Floor Theatre/Deaf Austin Theatre, Austin, TX): For years I had been wanting an ASL production of Next to Normal with Sandra Mae Frank as Natalie, so when it actually happened I knew I had to fly to Texas to see it. I don’t think I’ve ever cried more at a show. Sandy made me look at Natalie in a whole new way, and the ASL interpretations of the lyrics added so many new layers to the show. Megg Rose, the Deaf actor who played Diana, gave one of the best performances I’ve seen, and I want her to be on Broadway immediately. This production really was a dream come true for me.
9. Six (Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Chicago, IL): We drove to Chicago from NYC to see Six, and it was definitely worth it. I was in the front row for the first time I saw it, which was a terrifying but incredibly fun experience. This cast is so incredibly talented, and the show is so much fun, and being there with almost all of my closest friends was such a memorable experience. I’m so excited to see it again when it comes to Broadway.
10. Little Shop of Horrors (Westside Theatre, New York, NY): This was my first experience seeing LSOH, and I had an absolute blast. The performances were incredible, with Christian Borle being just off-the-wall crazy. I haven’t laughed that much at a show in awhile. The Audrey II puppets are fantastic, and what they’ve done with the scenic design in such a small space is amazing. I’m excited to see it again with Gideon Glick.
11. Indecent (Huntington Theatre Company, Boston, MA): Indecent is and always will be my favorite play, and I’m so incredibly grateful I got to see it again in Boston. Huntington recreated the Broadway production with many of the original cast members, and it was such a special show. I never thought I’d see that production again live, and Huntington gave me such an incredible gift with this play.
12. Freestyle Love Supreme (Booth Theatre, New York, NY): FLS is just fun from start to finish. It’s completely improvised with special unannounced guests every night, so it’s different every time you see it. I loved seeing how they made the show more inclusive between Off-Broadway and Broadway (by asking people their pronouns, for example), and I have a blast every time.
13. Ain’t Too Proud - The Life and Times of the Temptations (Imperial Theatre, New York, NY): I saw Ain’t Too Proud mostly for Jeremy Pope, and I was so pleasantly surprised by how much I genuinely loved the show. Derrick Baskin is one of the most hardworking performers on Broadway—he literally does not leave the stage. The choreography is so much fun, and each person in the cast is so incredibly talented. It’s also one of the most pleasant stage doors I’ve ever experienced; everyone at the stage door just really genuinely wants to congratulate and thank the performers, and the actors are so kind.
14. Teeth (National Alliance for Musical Theatre Festival, New York, NY): It’s wild even to me that I’m putting a staged partial reading on this list, but that’s how good Teeth was. I spent the entire time laughing, and the songs are constantly stuck in my head. Everyone at the festival was talking about how much they loved the show, so I’m hopeful there will be a full production of it sometime soon.
15. Slave Play (John Golden Theatre, New York, NY): It’s hard to talk about Slave Play because it transcends descriptors like “good” or “bad.” Slave Play is important. It’s complex. It’s necessarily provocative. And it’s shaken up Broadway like no show has in recent memory. It’s a show I think every American adult should see. I haven’t stopped thinking about it since I saw it. It only runs for a couple more weeks, and if you haven’t seen it, you need to.

Solaria and Eclipsa Headcanons
TW: Abuse and Heavy Angst
Unpopular opinion here, but I really despise Solaria. She didn’t feel like a loving mother to Eclipsa at all, and her redemption was not at all deserved. So here’s some angsty headcanons that I created that I will use in pretty much any story I write with Eclipsa and Solaria in it. In all of my stories, the Solaria forgiveness scene never occurs partially because of these headcanons and mainly because I feel Solaria doesn’t deserve it.
Eclipsa’s Youth
Eclipsa’s mom, Solaria, loves her daughter but in a twisted sense. Solaria was never physically abusive, but she was pretty emotionally abusive toward Eclipsa. Often gaslighted her daughter. She typically punished Eclipsa with silence.
Solaria saw Eclipsa as only an extension of herself.
Eclipsa loved her but was considerably afraid of her. She didn’t realize what it was until Solaria was dead for a couple of years. By the time of SVTFOE, she is pretty much estranged completely from her mother.
Eclipsa has low self-esteem as a result of the abuse. As a result, she forgives easily because how else could one cope with an abusive mother? Even after she realized that her mom was a horrible person and became estranged from Solaria, this unhealthy coping pattern remained (forgiving Moon and lacking a grudge against the Magical High Commission)
Eclipsa often ate the Snookers bars as comfort foods. To fill the hopeful thought that maybe her mom did love her. Solaria introduced her to the Snookers, so maybe Eclipsa eats them as nostalgic comfort foods.
Eclipsa’s uncle, Jushtin, inspired Eclipsa’s fashion sense and loved her at least a little. Unfortunately, he was given less and less time to spend with her as a result of more diplomatic missions and Solaria becoming jealous of her brother’s attachment to Eclipsa.
Jushtin died years before Solaria did.
Eclipsa’s Love Life
Shastacan was very controlling, but instead of punishing her with silence, Shastacan punished Eclipsa by ruining her reputation in the court. Sometimes, he was physically abusive, but he was mainly emotionally abusive. He cared nothing for Eclipsa except as a possession and potential political pawn.
Eclipsa has such a major attachment to Globgor because he was the first to treat her as a free person able to make her own choices.
Miscellaneous Headcanons
Solaria was extremely charismatic and persuaded Mewmans to join the Solarian army (not that this excused them)
Solaria’s diplomatic attempts were never genuine. They were more like ultimatums
Solaria’s assasination was done without Globgor’s knowledge, but after the fact, he did agree it needed to be done. It may have been done by Toffee instead.
When Eclipsa heard of her mother’s death, she grieved but more about what could have been.
If Solaria was alive and heard about Eclipsa’s marriage to Globgor, she would have disowned Eclipsa without any remorse. And she definitely would have despised Meteora, even when Meteora was a baby.
Solaria’s “redemption” in canon may have been simply what Eclipsa wished to see rather than what Solaria actually was like. Considering how angry she was at Star in the episode before the finale, the ghost in the finale was more likely wish fulfillment on Eclipsa’s part. And that’s the real sad part.
I’m sorry if I upset anyone with these Eclipsa headcanons. They broke my heart too. But I do not apologize for the Solaria headcanons. She always came across to me as wicked. The thing about bigots is that they pretty much never change. There are very rare occasions, but the incidence in fiction does not reflect reality very well. Based on the depth of Solaria’s prejudice, it is highly unlikely that Solaria would have changed.

Obey Me as Be More Chill Cast
Holy Shit this ended up being so long but I really wanted to explain myself. So I’ve put it all under a cut (hopefully). This is just how I’d cast them, and I did include understudy roles with explanations so if anybody happens to write a crossover fic/ does some art with idea they have options (please feel free to do so and please tag me I don’t trust myself to do it I’d butcher my idea with a meat cleaver but I wanna see it so bad).
Jeremy - Leviathan
Honestly the whole vibe of BMC feels like Levi’s aesthetic.
And Jeremy’s big character flaw is that he’s not satisfied with his lot in life/jealous of the life the popular kids have.
You have to pry my head-cannon of Levi already having “Two Player Game” memorized from my cold dead hands.
Understudy - Mammon
Meet dumbass #2 who just wants people to like him would jump on the chance to have a squip.
Actively argues with the casting director about making him Jeremy until he settles with understudy once he finds out MC’s role.
The Squip - Belphegor
Now, now, listen. Belphie is cannon manipulative, and Belphie is also cannon violent.
So is the Squip.
Also I like the significance of the the Squip being a character that takes a hot second to be introduced to us, and Belphie is the same.
Understudy - certain MCs (like mine for example)
Like my MC would turn “Pitiful Children” into a song just dripping with sex.
And I feel like if Levi had the chance to choose what his Squip looks like that weeb would pick either Ruri-chan or his crush you can fight me on that.
Michael - Lucifer
This seems like a stretch but it’s really not. For one, imagine Luci singing “Michael in the Bathroom”. I need it.
Michael is the only character who doesn’t get squipped, and a main reason for that is because he outwardly embraced his lot in life. I feel like that becomes a sense of Pride, like a certain demon.
I also like Lucifer as Michael because Lucifer does try to understand his siblings, and is very accommodating of Levi’s social struggles. Idk i think it makes him a good candidate to play Levi’s stage best friend.
Let Lucifer live vicariously through Michael and experience a relatively laid back life for just a moment please he deserves it
Understudy - Beelzebub
Would naturally fit the role of a stoner without having to be one just for the munchies alone.
A very good friend who deserves the world and instead ends up having a suicidal panic attack in a bathroom
Christine - MC
Obvious reason #1: both are main love interests. And I am a fan of the theater fic trope of your crush in real life is your love interest in the play. Fight me.
I feel like some of the cannon options provided for MCs naturally give way to Christine’s quirkiness.
I feel like this one is very self explanatory and kinda lazy but c’est la vie.
Understudy - Belphegor.
This is partially because one option for casting of Jake is Beel and I feel like he’d enjoy getting to interact with his brother more than the Squip interacts with Jake.
But it’s mainly because I personally thinking Belphie would enjoy pulling the switcheroo on Levi in “A Guy that I’d Kinda Be Into”
Also Belphie singing “Play Rehearsal” is a hilarious thought
Rich - Mammon
My sad greedy boy who craves attention. Would understand freshman Rich. SO MUCH.
“It’s FrOM JapaAAANNNNN”
Mammon is a hipster. He has to be, you can’t convince me otherwise. This need to know upcoming trends most definitely includes obscure drugs.
Understudy - Leviathan
Rich and Jeremy are actually really similar characters. They have important differences like Levi and Mammon do, and I think both can understand Rich.
Levi would 1000% buy the Squip just because it’s a rare, limited item from Japan
His Squip is Ruri-chan in a bikini
Chloe - Satan
Hierarchy wise, Chloe is above Brooke, just like Satan is above Asmo in the demon pecking order.
Chloe is vindictive when she feels slighted, and cunning about her execution, just like our resident bookworm which is a trait he picked up from Lucifer BUT I DIGRESS
Short tempered bitches have to stick together
Understudy - Diavolo
Queen Bee of the School meet Prince of the School
For the Prince of Hell fuckers, I bring you a feast: The baby costume (ignore the diaper part and focus on how he’ll most likely be essentially naked)
Jake - Beelzebub
Jake = confirmed jock beefcake. Beel = confirmed jock beefcake. It’s just simple math.
Turns out that Jake has family issues that bother him that he hides behind a happy go lucky, go with the flow attitude and hmmmmm that sounds really familiar.
Also turns out that Jake is decently in tune with his emotions, I swear I’ve seen this before.
He literally becomes wheelchair bound as a result of risking his life to save his friend. Guys they are carbon copies of each other.
Understudy - Lucifer
This mostly revolves around the fact that I think Lucifer’s Pride will not allow him to be anything less than a lead role.
Also, Jake is technically the second antagonist, and Lucifer ends up being an antagonist to his brothers with his strict rules and sadistic punishments.
Jake = Mr. Perfect, always gets what he wants (in Jeremy’s eyes). Lucifer = Mr. Perfect, always gets what he wants (in Leviathan’s eyes).
Jenna - Solomon
Shady characters unite.
Still holds power/prestige because she’s the school’s go to source for gossip because she just knows things. Kinda like Solomon, but I was thinking more along the lines of because he has immense power/so many pacts with demons.
Tricky bitch who is actually the person who almost causes the end of the world because a pretty person told them to do it. (Do I think Solomon is very weak to Asmo because he’s a pretty face? Yes, yes I do)
Understudy - Asmodeous
Our actual resident king of gossip
Third person in the show to be squipped, and honestly I think Asmodeous would also be the third demon to do it behind Levi and Mammon, for a plethora of reasons/head cannons.
Asmo hitting Jenna’s note in “The Pitiful Children” hits me different and I want it.
Brooke - Asmo
First off: “Do you wanna Ride”. That’s it. That’s my argument for this casting.
Actually, Brooke is a very sexualized character, but turns out to be caring and genuinely likes Jeremy at one point, and that fits my specific thoughts of Asmo’s insecurities.
Understudy - Solomon
Is this just because Solomon was last on my list to find a second role? Yes Of course not. I’m classier than that.
In actuality, I think Brooke gets screwed over pretty hard during the play, and us fans don’t particularly play nice with our resident sorcerer, what with our distrust of his shady character.
Mr. Heere - Diavolo
Diavolo playing the dad who is trying to connect with his kids? Sign me up.
Also, Diavolo singing “The Pants Song”. I don’t know if you noticed but I base a lot of these off of people singing certain songs and I’m not going to apologize
For all you Demon Prince fuckers out there, this character decision requires Diavolo to walk around on stage with no pants on for 90% of his stage time. You’re welcome
Understudy - Simeon
A guiding influence in the play, a part of the character Simeon would easily relate to and take some pride in.
For all you angle fuckers out there, Simeon in boxes for 90% of the play. You’re welcome.
Mr. Reyes - Simeon
My main motivator for this decision was Mr. Reyes’ speech during “The Play” because he snaps off and I really want Simeon to loose his shit.
Mr. Reyes is also relatively chill and goes with the flow. He’s got a lot of patience, like our favorite angel boy, and I feel like Simeon could relate to that.
Understudy - Satan
A fellow advocate for the arts.
Mr. Reyes ends up having quite the temper, and Satan would definitely enjoy his blow up scene.
A more background role, which gives Satan ample time to learn more about backstage work or anything else that strikes his fancy during all his free time in rehearsals.

30 Days of Autism Acceptance: Days 11-16
This is a list of questions by @autie-jake (full list here), where you’re supposed to answer one per day for every day of April. I keep forgetting to do these daily, so here’s all the days since my last post. My last post is here.
April 11: How open are you about being autistic? Do you usually tell people?
No, it never leads to anything good. Instead, I act like my autistic traits are normal, and other people’s allistic traits are weird. I will say things like, “You know how horrible it is to try a new food and find out that it’s the wrong texture?” and then call them weird when they reply, “No.” But I don’t bring it up without a purpose; my next line is then, “Huh, weird. Well, anyway, [anecdote involving autistic trait].” This is usually when I’m explaining how my day went, or if someone just told a different, relevant anecdote.
Or if someone asks, “Why do you flap your hands when you’re excited?” I just say, “Being excited makes me want to move, which I think is pretty normal. Why, how do you express your excitement?” (I’m genuinely curious. I still don’t know the answer.) I also recommend various kinds of stimming to people who are stressed out. I think it helps.
Hopefully this builds a clear image for people of what’s normal for me, without the label. And perhaps when another autistic person later tells them it’s an autistic trait of theirs, it won’t be so exotic for them.
April 12: Talk about social skills and communication. What kind of things do you find hard?
My record time for ordering at a Subway (with no queue) is around 15 minutes. That’s my record lowest time. I find it difficult and intimidating to make sense of the menu, and to ask for the ingredients I want. I’d rather just order a complete thing.
I have trouble answering questions about myself. This is partly because “myself” is not a very meaningful concept to me, but also because I find it hard to remember what I’m like, and to monitor my thoughts. This has less to do with autism, maybe, and more to do with my DID (or similar condition).
People’s brains are very opaque to me. I can sometimes guess at what a person’s feeling, but I never feel like I have a good model of them as a whole. I’m a lot better at figuring out what the family dog is thinking. His favorite activity is licking things (as a stim I guess), and sometimes he gets hungry or horny. When his fur is wet, it’s really uncomfortable for him texture-wise. He has an erratic sleep schedule, and hates it when I stay up too late. He’s afraid of ledges, but if he really needs to get down one, he’ll steel himself and jump. He loves the first 20 seconds or so of freedom when he gets to go on walks, and will gallop at top speed every time, because that’s the only time of the day that he gets to do that. That’s a lot more sentences about the family dog than I could write about any given human. I think I know these things about humans, too, I just don’t feel like I can rely on them or string them into a coherent whole. Although, people also have significant amounts of episodic memory, unlike me and the family dog. So that’s a complicating factor.
I’m very bad at telling how uncomfortable I’m making people. I do my best to not actually hurt people in any way, but they still get unfomfortable around me because I’m “weird”. (The fact that I’m trans doesn’t help.)
People rarely like my apologies. Part of that is my whole fight-or-flight complex owing to a history of abuse, though. I tend to over-apologize, and people think it’s insincere or annoying.
April 13: What kind of things do you have trouble with as an autistic person? Why do you think you have trouble with it? What helps?
Executive dysfunction is a thing. Whole books have been written on how to beat that. I don’t know what works best for me personally. Making lists, letting myself fail or partially fail, and breaking things down into extremely small steps are all pretty helpful for me. In general, reducing the “RAM” tasks take is the most effective strategy for me, because I have very little ability to remember what I’m doing, both on the short term and long term.
As I mentioned previously, I’ve been serially unable to learn how to drive. This might have to do with a traumatic car crash I had as a kid. No solution yet.
I’m very bad at hearing. I like headphones the best. They can beam whatever I’m trying to hear directly into my ears.
I can’t be at parties, like most autistic people. At college, I’ve done bartending in a safe, relatively quiet corner at a party once or twice, though, as well as being a doorperson. (It’s ironic that the party organizers act grateful that you’re doing the door shift, but then most of your time as the door person is spent shooing people back inside so that they don’t get too loud and cause people to call the police. It’s like staying outside is a privilege.)
April 14: What would you like other people to be more aware of when it comes to autism?
I can’t think of any one thing. I don’t think the average person knows any autistic traits in particular. It would be nice if they at least knew one. Also, the obligatory, “People should know that autism occurs in more than just white boys.”
April 15: Free day! Write about any topic you want!
The rest of my neurotype is rather exotic. Apart from ASD and ADHD, I have DID-spectrum dissociative issues, blending into PTSD and CPTSD-like issues thanks to multiple and sustained traumas. I’ve started keeping a journal to help me track my day-to-day life, because these things mean I have an extremely poor episodic memory. It’s very time-consuming, but I’m only doing it for a 30-day trial period. What helps is that I’m not writing the journal to myself; I’ve made many other attempts to start a journal, but I couldn’t get enthusiastic about writing to my own self.
April 16: Do you experience hyper empathy or low empathy? Talk about it. What is it like?
I have hyperempathy. I often get more emotional than the person I’m feeling empathy for. This can be overridden by my DID-related defense mechanisms, though. When defending myself, I can be mean to people I perceive as threats without remorse, except for a more abstract remorse when I reflect on it later. But otherwise, I get extremely happy whenever I get the sense that someone is having a good time, extremely sad when other people seem sad, very embarrassed when someone is making a social mistake, and so on.
I’m not very good at watching dramas by myself, because when anything happens that I know will make the characters feel bad, I can’t watch it, so I pause it and come back to it like 15 minutes later. If I’m watching with someone, though, I won’t pause it; but I might cover my face and/or ears.

not sure why i was thinking about ragnarok in the shower, but an au concept (which i would love to turn into fanfic but we all know about how bad i am at actually committing)
this turned in to a whole plot synopsis/ramble so be warned lol. i needed it out of my head.
loki lands on sakaar in a very similar fashion to thor (albeit a few weeks earlier). he is captured by scrappers and fitted with an obedience disk, the shock of which is powerful enough to force him to drop his aesir glamours. (remember, the disc is enough to knock him flat on his back later in the movie, so i don’t think this is much of a stretch).
the grandmaster is elated at having found a frost giant (having never had one on sakaar before). instead of sending loki to fight, he traps him in an exhibit-style enclosure where he keeps “rare” and “exotic” beings. every so often he’ll bring the rich spectators through to ogle his “collection” (even more colonialism commentary!! with the added benefit of not having loki, who is a direct victim of odin’s colonialist vision, be a participant himself. it was played off as a joke, but during his time disguised as odin, loki did maintain non-interventionalist policies. it always sat weirdly with me that he would participate in the grandmaster’s shit, even if it was to save himself [[which now that i think of it, could have been commentary in and of itself. hm]] but i digress).
during this time (i think i read somewhere that loki was on sakaar ~2 weeks before thor fell?) loki does try to recover his glamours, and succeeds two or three times before he is shocked again and forced to return to his jotunn form. (scene where he’s only partially successful and ends up half-jotunn half-aesir anyone?) this sends him into a pretty bad spiral—he’s trapped on a strange planet, with no discernable escape, and forced to take on a form that he hates and has never truly come to terms with before. (plus, he likely believes that thor is dead during this time).
this sets up a storyline for loki that runs parallel to thor’s own. he begins to form connections with the other beings in this “exhibit” (running the possibility of bringing in some bonus characters from the comics that we haven't seen in the mcu yet, but i’m drawing a blank for specifics atm). through these relationships and some more introspective moments where he examines himself (has to come face-to-face with the blue skin and red eyes in the reflection on the glass of his enclosure), loki begins to grow more comfortable with himself. throughout the span of the events of ragnarok, he starts to realize that his jotunn form is beautiful, powerful, and nothing to be ashamed of. that it can be a part of him, just as his aesir form is. (and his masculine form, and his feminine form, and everything else that he feels and performs and is).
he and the other “exhibit” prisoners plan and execute an escape (probably by using loki’s newfound frost powers. the complex suppresses most of loki’s magic, but the grandmaster didn’t account for loki’s natural jotunn abilities). this is right around the time that thor and bruce escape, and their groups end up colliding. loki sees thor first, and is stunned by the fact that he’s still alive. he makes a split-second decision and shifts back to aesir form before thor spots him. he’s become more comfortable with his jotunn form, but is afraid of how thor will react. the rest of loki’s group looks confused, but they don’t question it.
cue the revengers shenanigans of the movie. loki never gives anything besides vague, noncommittal statements, but as thor interacts more with loki’s ragtag group of beings, he begins to understand where exactly loki’s spent most of his time on this planet. this leads to a few poignant, brotherly (or, in my case, less-than-brotherly) scenes in which thor and loki finally get to have some genuine discussions about their family, loki’s past, etc. there’s even a part where loki looks down at his hand, where his fingers are starting to tinge blue as he recedes his glamours, but they’re interrupted by someone and the moment disappears.
the whole heist thing happens and thor and loki are still partnered up, they still kick major ass, and there’s still a genuine moment between them in the elevator, though probably a bit different in tone. in the hangar, thor and loki meet up with loki’s group, who have already commandeered a small ship. torn, loki ends up telling thor that he wants to go with them and try the rest of the galaxy on for size. thor, though sad, is proud of his brother, and they bid each other farewell.
of course, loki has a change of heart and he and his group go back to grab the freed contenders and arrive on asgard to assist thor and the others. and then baby boy gets his badass moment where he’s kicking absolute ass and someone (hela maybe) snarls “what are you?”
and loki just smirks at them and drops his glamours and starts decimating with his ice powers.
cut to thor, who looks so damn proud of his baby brother (in, of course, a parallel to my favorite moment of the movie. cue immigrant song.)
well that ended up a lot longer than i had originally intended. if only i could do that much writing for my current projects, lol. anyway, i was just trying to come up with a way that the movie could have gone that would have allowed for loki to come to terms with himself (and, you know, have thor finally see loki in his jotunn form) because i feel we, the fans, have been robbed of jotunn!loki content. plus i just feel like a deeper dive into loki’s jotunn heritage really would have added to the movie’s anti-colonialist message? loki realizing that he’s been seeing himself through the eyes of a conquerer this whole time and learning to think of himself as beautiful and powerful and worthy of love?
but, i digress. kudos to you if you read this whole thing. i’ll tuck this neatly into my pile of prompts that i would love to write but will almost certainly never get around to

Certain controversial opinions, supposedly always wanting pity when I absolutely don't, etc. Do you always reply to private messages? (On any website) Usually, unless they're creepy or it's someone trying to sell a product. Do you like knock-knock jokes? No, I find zero humor in them. Do you prefer earphones or the ear-muff style headphones? Muffs; they block out external sound more and are generally of a higher audio quality. What is one way someone could completely put you off on a first date? Rudeness. What about a way someone could make you like them more on a first date? A good sense of humor. What was the last music video you watched? Did you like it? No clue. Does your voice change when you talk to certain people? Yeah. What’s your favorite chocolate in the valentine box? The ones filled with fudge. What’s your favorite thrift store? *shrugs* Would you ever share your most embarrassing moment publicly? No. Do you eat yogurt a lot? No; not a big fan. What’s a condition you have that you haven’t been officially diagnosed with? None; my issues are diagnosed. No. Have you ever had a professional photo shoot? When my sisters and I were very young, we always got Easter pictures done. As an adult, no. What’s your favorite way to style your hair? I can't really style it much at the length it is, but what I do prefer is having the short hair on the left side of my head positioned towards my face to help conceal the part in my hair that goes from "boy-short" to a bit longer. Also, I just don't enjoy it as much angled down. What irritates you about your daily life? Being alone nearly all day with not a damn thing to do. Doing the same shit every single day gets old. And fast. What makes you feel more creative? Above anything else, MUSIC. It plays such an influence in my drawings and story development. What’s your anti-depressant? Show me Mark laughing his ass off at that stupid "shoosh" thing or watching meerkats be cute. Music can be, sometimes. What’s your favorite fragrance? I'm assuming you mean things like perfume? In that case, something subtle and fresh, like a weak floral sort. Ever found something disgusting in your food while eating out? I don't believe so. Do you ever babysit? No. I did it once in my life years upon years ago for my former neighbor, and while she was a good kid, I was CLUELESS on what to do/how to really interact as much as an adult should with a toddler. Then changing a diaper, jfc. Thank God she hadn't shit in it, because then it woulda been all over. I was only less stressed when Jason came over because hi former man/baby heart throbbing that used to make my abstinent uterus cry, how are ya. We ended up all on the couch together napping, so I mean, I guess mission accomplished???? But yeah, never will again. What is your favorite medication that you take, and why? Latuda + Lamictal played a massive part in literally saving my life. What color hair did your first crush have? Brown, I think? Would you rather do a craft project or a science experiment? Totally a science experiment. What was the last thing you spray-painted? My hair probably for some Halloween event, I think? Do you paint rocks and hide them in your town? ... Can you see the mountains from where you live? No. Did you ever play pranks on April Fool’s Day? Not anymore. Have you ever played a prank and later regretted it? I've mentioned before my sister, our neighbor, and I had a phase of being asshole kids making prank phone calls, so that. Does chronic illness keep you from doing the things you want to do? Not exactly; I guess a good metaphor would be it's like being a chained dog with the leash about to break. I can't seem to get to some places yet, but I'm putting sincere effort into overcoming those limitations. Do you part your hair on the left side, right side, or in the middle? Left. Do you have bangs? No. Do you think you look good with bangs? NO. When was the last time you got an injection? I believe when I was getting a cavity filled at the dentist, so I had numbing shots. How often do you charge your phone? Depends on how much it's used, but maybe every other day, usually? In a house fire, what three things would you save? My mom, dog, and snake. How long is the journey to get to school or work? N/A Where did you meet your best friend? YouTube. Do you use body wash, shower gel, or soap? Body wash. Do you use public transport regularly? No. Who do you usually say hello or good morning first? Mom sometimes or one of the pets. Have you ever had to work while there was a film crew at your work place? No. What’s your favorite color of carnation? I just looked up pictures to remember what they were, and I really like those white and pink ones. Do you/have you worked a job where you could bring leftover food home from? No. Who or what greets you at the door every time you come home? Teddy and Bentley. Do you ever chat about your favorite video games with your friends? Silent Hill, yes. I'm an admin on its wiki, so pay attention to everything that's going on and contribute to blog posts/forums if I'm not a lazy shit that doesn't wanna read long things. Girt and I talk about World of Warcraft occasionally. Have you ever supported anyone’s Kickstarter? If so, what was it? No. What do you like in your omelet? I haven't had an omelet in, God, forever, but I love the ones with American cheese and bits of ham. Are you currently studying a language? If so, which one? None currently. Do you have free tickets for anything that need to be used soon? Idk. How many things do you remember from the first few years of your life? Oh, boy. I have incredible long-term memory, but it only spans back so far, and I don't know how many years qualifies as just "the first few." I'm also HORRIBLE at categorizing events by age. But w/e, just gonna guesstimate like, 1-4. 1.) I watched my insane brother go down the slide of our playset into the essential lake Hurricane Floyd caused in our yard; 2.) lots of things in pre-k, 3.) being babysat, and our first one always gave Nicole and me moonpies; 4.) going to an absolutely awful daycare where I had my hand slapped by a teacher just for unknowingly going into the wrong room to pick up a toy during playtime (I literally sobbed my lungs out until Mom got me, and she never took me back); 5.) mentioning her, I had AWFUL separation anxiety; 6.) I very publicly had a M E N T A L  B R E A K D O W N before I got my blood drawn for the first time (at least at the age where I could understand what was about to happen); 7.) playing with my best friend; and that's all for now. I'm sure there's a whole lot more. NONONONONONO WAIT. So this is super specific, but boy do I remember it. Nap time. Nope. The teacher would have quiet instrumental music on, and I remember so well that if "Für Elise" came on, I would secretly be crying on my "bed" with this random vision of my mom literally melting while looking horrified. Look, I don't. I don't understand either. A child's brain is one hell of an artist. What is something that you would you say you have an advanced knowledge of? Will I ever answer questions like these with anything other than "meerkats?" What is a restaurant that you would never eat at? Anything sketchy, for one. If it doesn't look decently hygienic, I'm not touching anything there. What historical event do you have an advanced knowledge of? HA, none. What is a phrase that you use that you don’t hear many other people use? I dunno. Well, there's "gg" ("good game"=[usually] sarcastic "good job"), which is pretty much gamer terminology; I've said it before in front of people and yeah, didn't understand. Who’s the last person you told a secret to? Either Sara or Mom, idr. Which side of the bed do you sleep on? I sleep more towards the middle of my bed, but I am closer to the left side. Are you currently looking for a job? I'm desperate enough for a job that I'm in vocational rehab. Think that's a sufficient answer. Is there anything currently hurting on your body? Surprisingly not. When was the last time you were told you were cute? *shrugs* Who was the last person to smoke a cigarette in your presence? Dad or Kim, I think. Do your parents really know you? Mom, for sure. I don't feel that Dad truly knows me deeply. Like he's familiar with some things I enjoy and my timidness, but I think that's... kinda it? I mean I'm a whoooole different person from what I was when he left, and there were a couple years before I spoke to him again, so that's a large period of time to change. I do know some of our political/moral beliefs are inverse of each other, and I've got a feeling just from me knowing him that he likely doesn't take mental illness like depression very seriously, and with me being. Me. Disorders are apparently attracted to me. But seriously, as I wrote, I don't know if that's at all true. Honestly who was the first person to tell you they love you? Romantically or platonically? I can pretty much guarantee my mom was the first person to say that ever, but romantically, idk. Probably one of those two boys that wouldn't leave me alone for anything.in pre-k, though I think it's quite obvious neither loved me at that age. Have you ever broken up with someone and become bitter enemies? No. Were you ever obsessed with Vitamin Water? I don't think I've ever even tried it. Have you ever had a weird dream and obsessed over what it might mean? No, as I don't feel they have any strange/"special" meanings. Or do you usually forget about your dreams? And then there's also that. Which languages can you speak? English, some simple German. Which language do you speak the most and why? English, because I was raised speaking it. What celebrities, if any, have you seen naked? None. I know, SHOCKING. Have you ever seen anybody naked by accident? Yeah. Have you ever wondered what somebody looks like naked? Sure. Have you ever had a sexual fantasy about a celebrity? I plead the 5th. Do you think guys look good in makeup? You ROCK THAT SHIT, QUEEN. Do you like using clay and/or peel-off masks for skincare? No. What’s your go-to activity when you’re bored? Surveys, usually. Have you ever worked in an office? No.
