THE WHITE SUN AT MIDNIGHT | J.BLACK Ch. 29
The next morning Paige joined the rest of the Uley pack to train with the Cullens. Despite how much she disliked the coven of vampires, she had to protect her sister, and if watching a ton of her worst enemies throw each other around was the way to do so, she would participate. They went in their wolf forms to be cautious, which showed a clear message. They may have an alliance, but that never meant they would like each other.
When they arrived at the place in the woods that the Cullens had told them to go, they growled. "They don't trust us enough to be in their human form," Edward announced after searching Sam's mind.
"They came. That's what matters," Carlisle soothed an anxious-looking Bella. She had never seen her sister in her wolf form, and by the female like features, she could narrow two wolves down that could be Paige. "Will you translate?" the eldest vampire asked Edward, who agreed.
Jake walked closer than any other wolves to near Bella on the sidelines. He was expecting Paige to follow him, but she never moved from her spot next to Paul and Seth.
"Welcome. Jasper has experience with newborns. He'll teach us how to defeat them,"  Carlisle was the first to speak up.
"They want to know how the newborns differ from us," Edward declared.
"They're a great deal stronger than us because their own human blood lingers in their tissues. Our kind is never more physically powerful than in our first several months of this life," Carlisle finished and gestured to Jasper to carry on.
"Carlisle's right. That's why they are created. A newborn army doesn't need thousands like a human army, but no human army could stand against them," Jasper continued, his face twisted into a small scowl. "Now, the two most important things to remember are, first, never let them get their arms around you. They'll crush you instantly. And second, never go for the obvious kill. They'll be expecting that, and you will lose," the blonde hissed out, and Paige let out a nasty snarl.
"Emmett," Jasper said and strutted into the open area with Emmett going to the opposite of him. "Don't hold back."
"Not in my nature," Emmett smirked. He raced forward and tackled Jasper. It was a few seconds before a loud thunderous thump rang around the woods. Emmett grunted on the ground with Jasper standing above him.
"Never lose focus."
The pack studied another three partners that included Carlisle and Edward, Jasper and Rosalie, and Jasper with Alice. Paige ground her sharp teeth together when Jake walked closer to Bella, so she was leaning against his side.
She knew she shouldn't be jealous, but she hated Bella being so close to her imprint. Her jaw was locked so tight and her glare so filled with rage that Seth's whole right side of his body nudged her. The unexpected force caused the white wolf to stumble and sneer at Seth.
Paige then saw Bella scratching Jacob's head with him groaning in sensation. Once the Claymore caught a glimpse of the Cullens finishing up, she stomped back into the woods with Sam growling at her to obey. But he wasn't her Alpha, so why should she listen to him? Kaimbe was her Alpha. That was the only person she had to listen to no matter what. So Sam shouldn't have the audacity to order her around.
~:*:~
The day before the battle, Paige had remained in her room, making calls to her friends in Montana and drowning in her sudden roar of anger. Her jealousy had grown when Jasper found out that if Jake would carry Bella away from the battlefield, no vampires could catch her scent. So Jacob had to carry Bella into the woods while Jasper tried to locate them. God, it just made her want to punch the wall when thinking about it.
She had called Ryland, Chloe, Dakoda, Shawne, and a few others that Kaimbe might not notice is gone. Even if Dakoda was third in command to the Anderson pack, he wasn't important to Kaimbe like Mika was. In total, she had a group of 7 new werewolves to fight.
Right now, Paige was trying to focus on something to do without breaking something but was not succeeding, so she stormed downstairs. She saw Bella and Charlie in the kitchen making lunch with small talk.
"Hey. You two want a sandwich?" Charlie asked.
"No, I'm good," both girls stated in sync. Paige grabbed a water bottle, which seemed to be the only thing she was putting into her body, and sat at the small table.
"Well, the sister, I like," Charlie muttered with a soft smile.
"Alice. Yeah, she's great," Bella glowed, and Paige held in a scoff by sipping her water. "Hey, Dad, I was wondering. Why didn't you get remarried? After Mom," Bella questioned, and Paige raised her eyebrows from the sudden change of subject.
Charlie looked baffled but replied anyway, "I don't know. I guess I still haven't found the right gal. Why?"
"I don't know. I thought you just maybe gave up on the whole institution of it, of marriage. But do you think there's any value?" Bella continued her awkward interrogation.
"Yeah. Yeah, marriage has value," Charlie sighed, then caught on and added, "When you're older. Much older. Like your mother. Seemed to work out fine for her the second time around, later in life."
"Yeah, I guess," now Paige was intrigued at the mention of her mother.
"I mean, you definitely don't wanna have to get married because you weren't . . . . careful," Charlie mumbled as quietly as he could to hide his embarrassment. Paige chuckled at how confused Bella looked.
"What?"
"Look, you know what I'm talking about. There's things you need to think about if you're gonna be physically intimate," Charlie choked out. Paige spat out her water and burst out laughing.
"Okay. Don't have "the talk" with me, please," Bella rushed away, trying to hold in a giggle.
"Well, it's just as embarrassing for me as it is for you," Charlie held up his hands in defense, and Paige hit her head on the table where her water was spilled.
"I doubt that. And don't bother, 'cause Mom beat you to it like 10 years ago," Bella claimed.
"Well, you didn't have a boyfriend 10 years ago," Charlie defended.
"I'm sure things work the same way," Bella stumbled over her words, and Paige lifted her head to start her laughs again.
"All right, so . . . . you guys are taking precautions and . . . ."  the Swan trailed off.
"Okay, Dad, please just don't worry about that. Edward is old school," Bella said, making Paige laugh harder.
"Old school. Great. What's that? Like, code for something?"
"Oh, my god. Dad. I'm a virgin," Bella exclaimed with a thumbs up. By now, Paige was clutching her stomach with tears in her eyes from her amusement.
"Okay! Good. Glad we covered that," Charlie squealed.
"Me too!" Bella called to him and ran up the stairs.
Charlie began his sandwich again when he muttered, "virgin. I'm liking Edward a little bit more now."
He then glanced at Paige who's bottom lip was between her teeth to hold back another giggle. "What about you?"
"Me and Jake are old school too," the wolf mocked, and Charlie rolled his eyes playfully.
"He still can't sleep over unless it's life and death, remember that," he warned, and Paige nodded with a small chuckle escaping her lips as Charlie walked out of the kitchen to the living room.
"So worth coming downstairs."

☂: A sudden rainstorm starts up and our characters find themselves taking shelter underneath the same tree or structure.
(from my girl Calistar @ oracleherbalist )
The blasted storm hadn’t let up for the last hour. This is why she hated traveling the Eastern Kingdoms. At least Kalimdor was dry. Cail finally found a tree that seemed to be sturdy enough to shield her from the rain. Dropping her pack on the ground, she settled down next to it and pulled out a notebook and began to write. She was there for a few moments before she heard movement from the other side of the tree. Thinking it was some kind of predator, the Sin’dorei jumped up and grabbed her dagger but when she looked around the tree, there was a man sitting on the other side.
“By the Sunwell!” She exclaimed in Thlassian, not really caring if he could understand her or not. “I though you were a wolf or something!” She put the dagger back into her boot and began to pack up her things. “Sorry.”
Tumblr media
It would’ve been easy for Ryland to simply rip open a portal and escape the rain along with his mechanohog.  Unfortunately, that had a flat tire a ways back and he thought that walking to the next town over was a nice idea.  It had been a nice, cool day.  Slightly overcast, with the fall weather kicking in, may as well enjoy it right?  Right. Naturally it started to sprinkle, and then pour.  Storms didn’t always last terribly long around these parts, so he figured he would wait it out.  Not that going under a tree in a thunderstorm was a great idea, but it was the only thing that would provide a bit of an escape.
So he lit up a cigarette and decided to wait for at least a little while before escaping if need be. There was a noise on the other side of the tree, leaning and peering around to see who or what it was and out pops a startled Sin’dorei.  He started as well, mostly from her sudden exclamation, but she didn’t seem to be a threat so his hand resting on the dagger at his hip dropped away.
“Not the first time I’ve been called a wolf.”  Speaking to her in Thalassian, he smirks as rolls up to his feet and brushes his pants off.  “Don’t leave on my account.  It’s a big enough shelter for the both of us.”  He gestures towards the direction he had come, “Bike got a flat tire a ways back, thought I’d walk to the next town, and here we are.”

Ryland Storms Love Story [Part 9]
Talia's POV
After returning to the party, I went to the kitchen to grab another drink. When I got into the kitchen I ran into Jaden, I smiled at him,
"Heyy Jay, how's it going?" He smiled back at me and raised the drink he had in his hand,
"Fantastic, Mads is here." He said, sounding enthusiastically sarcastic. I shook my head at him, and asked if he wanted to go smoke somewhere. He agreed and he took me to the basement, a place I'd never been to in the hype house. There was already a bong down there, and Jaden offered to use his weed and began packing the bong.
"Ryland pulled me into some room earlier just to look at the stars, he says he's not tryna make a move on me at all." I say, picking at my fingernails. Jaden continues to pack the bong, and offers me the first hit. I accept it.
"I'll believe it when I see it.." Jaden grumbles, quite angrily it seems. I take my bong rip and hand the bong back to him. Why does Jaden seem so mad? I thought him and Ryland were supposed to be best friends. In the middle of Jaden's bong rip, Mads stumbles over.
"Jaden! Why're you hiding from meeee" She plops down onto the couch next to him. He takes the bong away from his mouth, blowing out smoke and hacking up a lung. Mads puts her hands on his thigh. "Jaden come on, why can't we get back together?" She tries to kiss him on the cheek. He pushes her away,
"Mads, I already told you that we don't work anymore, ok? I'm done here." He says sternly. She looks at him with a shocked, and hurt expression. She gets up and storms off. Jaden passes me the bong and puts his head in his hands.
"I thought...I thought Mads was the one that didn't want you back?" I question, waiting for his answer before I take a bong rip. He takes his head out of his hands.
"You were right, it's time for me to move on." He smiles. I smile back at him and take my bong rip. After a few more rounds of bong rips, Jaden and I are high as kites. We'd both gotten off the couches we were sitting on and were laying on the floor on our backs next to each other in the next room over. I was eating goldfish we had found in there. "Hey, give me a couple!" Jaden whines. I sit up,
"You gotta catch them in your mouth!" I set myself up for a shot, and Jaden opens his mouth wide. I throw it, and it lands in. I collapse on top of him in a fit of laughter. "Goal!" I say through my uncontrollable laughter. Jaden was laughing with me, but then he stopped. He tucked my hair, that was dangling above him, behind my ear, and cupped my cheek. I stopped laughing and looked at him. I felt myself leaning in, slowly. Until our mouths met. This kiss, unlike our first kiss, wasn't lust filled and rushed. It was slow, our mouths danced together perfectly. I felt lighter than a feather.
Then, the door to the room opened and I pulled away from Jaden, looking to see who had broken up our kiss. I made eye contact with Ryland. His face displayed no emotion, and without saying anything he shut the door and left.
~Next day~
Griffin barged into my room, while I was sat on my phone scrolling through social media. And Jaden was still asleep on his bed. He looked angry. He went over to Jaden's bed and grabbed him by the ankles, yanking him off the mattress.
"Wake up you piece of shit!" Griffin shouted as he did so.
"Griffin what the fuck!?" I stood up and went over to him. He lightly shoved me aside. Jaden was fully awake now, and looked up at Griffin confused. Griffin grabbed him and pulled him onto his feet.
"Have you been getting with my sister. Yes or no?" He shoved Jaden. My stomach fell, how does Griffin know? Jaden looked at me for help. I could see that he was panicking.
"Grif-"
"No Talia, I want to hear it from him." Griffin grabbed Jaden's collar. By this time, the other sway boys had heard the commotion and had come into the room to see what Griffin was doing. Bryce came over and held Griffin back. "Bryce let go of me, I'm not gonna hurt him. I just want to hear him say what he did." Jaden unexpectedly met Griffin's attitude with rage,
"Fine Griffin! You want to know? Yes I fucked your sister! But you need to chill the fuck out!" He yelled at Griffin. Griffin only got angrier, but instead of saying anything else, he stormed out of the room. I ran over to Jaden,
"I'm so sorry, I don't know how he knows." I said. Jaden looks at me with a look of disgust, not for me, but for what he said next,
"It was that son of a bitch Ryland." He said and he too left the room. Fuck, I forgot that Ryland walked in on us last night.
*Messages*
Me: Ryland, where are you? I need to see you
Ryland: My room at the hype house lol, where else?
I felt rage build up inside me and I called an uber and went to the hype house. Once I got there, I shoved open the door to Ryland's room. He was laying shirtless in his bed, but I didn't take a second look. He smiled at me but then I opened my mouth,
"Ryland who the fuck do you think you are telling my brother about Jaden and I? What's wrong with you, I thought you and Jaden were friends! I thought you and I were friends!" I shout at him. He looks at me confused and starts shouting back to defend himself,
"I don't know what you're talking about! I didn't tell Griffin shit. I don't get involved with drama." I furrow my eyebrows at him and sit on the edge of his bed.
"How do I know that?" I look him in the eyes and search them for any signs he is lying.
"Because I told you. I want to be friends, and I wouldn't lie to a friend. You just have to take my word for it." Something inside of me believes him and I sigh.
"Then who was it?" I ask. He shrugs his shoulders.
"You guys really haven't been all that careful, anyone could've seen you." Ryland says. I start to lose myself in my thoughts, who told Griffin? "But hey, since you drove all the way over here, we might as well hang out." He playfully punches my shoulder and I roll my eyes and smile at him.
"Fine. But only for a few hours, okay?" He nods and gets out of bed to put on a shirt.
~
Ryland and I were both starving after hanging around at the hype house for an hour, so he decided to take Calvin's car to go to Five guys. And I, of course, went with him. I hadn't really gotten out much to see LA, I've just been shuttling back and forth between the sway house and the hype house, so I was practically glued to the window the whole drive to five guys.
"What're you doing you goof?" Ryland laughs and takes his eyes off the road briefly to glance at me. I stare out at the big houses passing by and the tall palm trees lining the streets, my head pressed to the car window and my palms resting on the glass.
"I didn't know palm trees could be so tall! I always pictured them as little stubby trees." I say in amazement. I try to see if there are any coconuts nestled between the leaves of the palm trees.
"You've never seen a palm tree before!" Ryland exclaims, seeming extremely surprised. I nod my head, still maintaining its position on the window. "That's nuts. I've grown up around them my entire life." We pull into the five guys parking lot, and Ryland parks the car. Not very well I might add.
"You need a parking lesson." I scoff and Ryland flips me the middle finger. I stick my tongue out at him and we make our way into five guys. We walk up to the counter and Ryland orders himself a burger, a chocolate shake, and fries.
"What do you want?" He turns around to look at me, patiently waiting in line behind him.
"I can pay, don't worry about me." I try to tell him, but he waves me off,
You can just venmo me, it's easier if we pay together." I nod and tell him my order. I receive my drink cup and go to fill it up while Ryland goes and sits down. I fill it up and sit down at a table across from him. "Is that Dr. Pepper? Bro that's my favorite drink, let me get a sip." Ryland says, pleading with me.
"Only if I get a sip of your shake." I bargain with him, gesturing at the chocolate shake in his hands. He slides it across the table, and I hand him my drink, taking a sip of his shake. "You better not have corona." I joke. He finishes his sip and puts his hands up in defense,
"Oh I've got rona, it's your own fault for sharing a drink with me." I roll my eyes at him. Our number is called and we grab the food. We head back out to the car, deciding not to eat there. "I've got a spot we can eat." Ryland says getting into the passenger seat and driving to the undisclosed location.
After driving for a few minutes, Ryland pulls over to the side of the road on a bridge. I look at him puzzled. "C'mon, we can eat on the bridge." He says, and I follow him out of the car deciding to trust him. We sit on the bridge, hanging our legs over the edge.
"What made you think of this? Got an appetite for danger?" I ask, getting my burger out of the five guys bag. He takes a sip of his shake and speaks,
"I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie yeah." I nod, taking in the information. That's pretty cool. I wouldn't consider myself an adrenaline junkie. I never go out of my way to get a thrill, but there isn't much that scares me.
"Craziest thing you've ever done?" I question him, curious as to what being an adrenaline junkie looks like. He stays quiet for a second, pondering on what to say.
"Probably skydiving." He shrugs, eating a few of his french fries. I nod,
"I'd like to try skydiving, I've never been."
"You gotta change that." He states. We continue eating until Ryland speaks up again, "So what's up with you and Jaden? Didn't he just get out of a serious relationship?" He stops eating and looks at me intently. I stop eating myself and think about how to answer that question. Finally, I speak up.
"We're not really anything right now. We've just hooked up a few times." I shrug. Ryland doesn't react, he just goes back to eating. I go back to eating too and we continue to chat about random things until we finish our food.
"Watch this." Ryland says, standing up on the edge. My eyes widened at him.
"Ryland, what are you doing?" I ask concerned. He takes a second to look down at me and smirks before doing a front flip off the bridge. I watch as he falls into the water below and my heart beats out of my chest. I quickly hop off the bridge and run down to where the water meets the land as fast as I could. When I finally got there, Ryland was just swimming to shore. I ran up to him and enveloped his soaking wet body in a hug. "You scared the fuck out of me! You couldn't have given me a warning!" I yell at him, still feeling shaken up. He wraps one soaking wet arm around me,
"Sorry, I just wanted to show off." He says jokingly cocky. I pulled back from him and hit him in his chest.
"You asshole!" I yell. But I couldn't shake the feeling that it was kind of sexy how daring he was. We're just friends I tell myself. Suddenly he gets a text on his phone, and the expression on his face immediately changes. "We should get back now." He says. I give him a questioning look, but he doesn't give me any details. What's going on?

Positive ⏸ Steve Rogers
Tumblr media
Family days🔆
Positive ⏸
Cravings🍤
Late nights🌑
Shower🎠
Family of 4👨‍👩‍👦‍👦
Warnings: fluff
Relationship: Steve Rogers x black plus sized reader
“Ryland come on you’re gonna be late for school” I always very nervous and excited when Ryland goes to school. Steve is going with me to make sure I’m not a wreck.
“Ready buddy?” Steve asks
“Yea” Ryland grabs his hand and we walk out to the car. I strap him in his seat and get in the front. Steve gets in the drivers side and takes off.
It’s been a silent car ride for the most part. I feel myself getting nauseous as we approach the school. Just nerves most likely.
“Ok baby you ready?”
“Yes”
“I’ll take him in” He gets out and takes Ryland with him. I watch as my boys disappear in the school and I lose it.
I wipe my streaming tears still feeling nauseous. I really want some Chinese food.
I see Steve coming back looking strong.
He opens the door and sees me crying.
“Babe it’s like every other day” he smiles getting in. He wraps his big arms around me. “I’ve never seen you this emotional over something that happens everyday”
“Can we get Chinese food?”
“Yea sure” he puts the car in reverse and backs out of the school parking lot. “You haven’t had Chinese since you were pregnant with Ryland”
“I know” I smile. As he drives I’m lost in my thoughts. He’s right I haven’t had Chinese since I was pregnant.
After we get the food we head to the compound because Steve had an important call from Bruce.
We walk in and I sit down beginning to eat. The only thing that keeps replaying in my head is what Steve said. I’ll buy a pregnancy test. I know I’m not pregnant but just to be sure.
I listen for a bit but I really need to go to the store. I stand up and grab the keys from Steve.
“Where are you going?” He asks
“CVS” he nods. I leave out with the very small fear that I might be pregnant again.
...
I get back with the test to see everyone is still at the table except for Steve.
“Where’s Steve?”
“Uh Y/N-“ Bruce starts
“I’ll tell her” he comes out from the balcony.
“What?”
“We have a mission” my heart sinks to stomach. They could be gone for months.
“Ok how long will you be gone”
“We don’t know” Clint says
“When do you guys leave in a week? 2 weeks?”
“Tonight 11 sharp”
“W-What?”
“I know it’s short notice but we have to take care of Thanos”
“Thanos nearly killed all of you so w- what if you-“ I break down in tears and cover my face. I feel Steve wrap his arms around me.
“I know but we’re the avengers we’ll be ok”
“This is completely different than Ultron and the rest” Steve wipes my tears and kisses my head.
....
We’re eating dinner and Steve clears his throat.
“Um Ryland I wanna talk to you” His big blue eyes look up at his fathers resembling features.
“Dads gonna be on a business trip and I don’t know how long I’ll be gone”
“So.. does that mean you’ll miss my soccer games?”
“I’m sorry bud”
“Why can’t you just tell them you won’t be able to make it” I can see the tears in his eyes starting to make their appearance and my heart breaks even more. He’s showing anger but I know my son and deep down he’s hurt.
“I can’t Ry I’m sorry I’d give anything to tell them that and be with you guys”
Ryland stands up and storms off to his room. I place my hands in my head and sigh.
“Y/N-”
“I understand just go talk to your son” he nods and stands up. I clean up the kitchen and everyone’s mess before heading upstairs myself.
I lean on the doorframe seeing Steve calming Ryland down.
“Uncle Bucky will be here and he’ll take care of you guys until I come back and you have Sergeant here and as long as you have Sergeant you have me”
“Ok I love you dad” Steve hugs him and kisses his head
“I love you more Soldier” he lets go and stands up. Ryland salutes Steve which is something they do before he leaves like this. Steve salutes him back and turns to me.
“Goodnight mommy I love you”
“I love you more Ry” I kiss his head and smile.
We leave him to go to sleep and go back to our room where I lay on the bed.
“I’m gonna miss you doll” he says starting to pack
“I’m gonna miss you too Stephen”
“Ugh I hate when you say my name like that”
“You secretly love it” he comes over to me and kissed me. He hasn’t kissed me like this in a while. I lean back and he comes on top of me starting our last sex rendezvous until he comes back.
...
I’m laying in bed watching him pack and Clint calls him.
“Yea” he says. He gets dressed and I stand up grabbing one of his t-shirts and throwing it on.
“Ok I’m on my way”
My heart sinks again and I sit on the edge of the bed where he is I pull him in between my legs and just hold onto his torso.
“Alright bye” he hangs up and slides his phone in his pocket. He wraps his big arms around me and I break down.
“Babydoll I’m gonna be alright you know this”
“I know” I let go and wipe my face. He goes in Rylands room and kiss his head one more time before going downstairs. I see Clint walking up and Steve opens the door.
“Hi” I hug him.
“If I don’t see any of you back here and safe I’ll fight the ghosts” I laugh
“We know”
“I love you”
“I love you more” he hugs me and I get on my tippy toes kissing him multiple times. I watch as they leave and shut locking the door. I turn around seeing the CVS bag. I grab the pregnancy test out of it and go upstairs to the bathroom.
...
I walk into Rylands room and sit on his bed pushing back his dirty blonde curls. He moves and opens up those big blue eyes and I smile.
“Guess what”
“What?”
“You’re gonna be a big brother” I smile
“Really?” His smile is from ear to ear I nod smiling. My smile fades when Ryland hugs me. Steve doesn’t know.

6 * FLAME * 6
Impact: Chapter 6
Chapter title song: Flame - Sundara Karma
HARRY
My phone buzzes on the nightstand beside Ashlyn's bed and I pull away from her mouth to lean on my elbow and read through the message flashing on the screen.
"What's going on? Who is it?" She asks, sitting up to read over my shoulder.
"It's a fight, Jefferson Hall, apparently Pedada has been talking mad shit about being able to kick my ass." I laugh, throwing the comforter off myself and getting up from the bed.
"You have to go? Like right now?" She asks quickly, sitting up and holding the sheet to her bare chest.
"Yeah, that's how this works, you know that." I huff, shrugging a tshirt back on and shoving my legs through my jeans.
"What time?" She asks, rolling her eyes.
"Looks like seven," I say, reading back over Ryland's text message, "you don't have to come."
"Well I was hoping we could pick up where we left off." She smiles, wrapping her bony arms around my waist as I put my shoes on.
I don't bother answering her as my phone buzzes again and I check to see a text from Niall too. He says Louis is taking him to Jefferson and I tell him I'll be there as soon as possible. She calls my name and I say a quick goodbye, leaving out the door with my jacket half on my shoulders. I collapse into my car, my eyes darting to look up at her door next to Ashlyn's as I start the car and turn the volume up on the radio; Runaway, Bon Jovi.
I peel out of her parking lot before my mind can get too far gone thinking about her hips. I speed through the yellow lights on my way to Jefferson hall and my phone buzzes in my pocket more times than I can count. Everyone must know about it now, when fights pop up out of the blue they spread like wildfire. I'm sure people are already making bets and ruining friendships as they argue with each other over who's gonna win. Sadly, everyone who bets against me will be going home broke.
I pull into the parking lot of Jefferson hall to see Niall climbing through a window on the east side of the building. I put the car in park and get out quickly, grabbing my duffle bag from the trunk.
"What the fuck is this?" I ask, running to catch up with him.
"Door's locked and Ryland's master key doesn't work because it's one of the original buildings," He explains, shoving his feet through the open window, "but this window was open."
He shimmies his way down until his feet hit the ground inside with a thud. I shake my head as I toss my duffle bag down to him before grabbing the bar just inside the window and swinging myself into the room, landing solid on my feet. I stand up straight and take my bag from him before coming face to face with Louis and Ryland beside him.
"You ready for a good one?" Ryland smiles wickedly, leading us out of the room we fell into.
"Always." I smirk, tossing my bag up onto my shoulder and following him down the hall.
Louis's phone whistles making Niall jump and he takes it out eagerly, the bright flash of the screen nearly blinding all of us in the dark of the building's basement.
"Sorry, it's Sam, she's asking if she can come to the fight," He says nervously, eyeing Ryland for approval, "She says the dorm is freezing, the heat must be out or something."
"Only if she brings that hot roommate of hers," Ryland smirks, "have you guys seen her? Total babe."
It takes me a second to realize he's talking about Jess. How does he know about her? My mind shuffles back to the party the other night and I realize that he probably ran into her there. I can't imagine her walking into this dim lit basement to watch a fight and the more I think about it the more I realize I don't want her to.
"No, she's not in the ring Louis, she can't come to every fight." I say quickly, hoping to stifle any other conversation about Jess showing up here.
"What? Neither is Ashlyn, but you always bring her." He argues.
"Yeah and I'm the reason the ring even exists! Would you like to get out there and fight Pedada, Louis?" I shout, gesturing to the next room where I can already hear the screams of the audience.
Suddenly Ryland is standing between us and Niall is grabbing my shoulders. Louis looks like he's seen a ghost. I didn't even realize how close I'd stepped, completely standing over him.
"Come on," Niall says, grabbing my arm and tugging me over to the corner while the other guys walk into the next room for the fight, "What is going on with you?"
"Nothing, I'm fine." I huff, dropping my duffle bag and grabbing my tape out of it.
"You just nearly swung at Louis! You're not fine! Now start talking or you're not getting in that ring." He says sternly.
"I don't want her here." I mumble, wrapping my knuckles with the tape.
"What? You don't want who, where?" He asks confusedly.
I sigh, rolling my shoulders back as I strip my shirt off and stuff it back in my bag before changing into a pair of basketball shorts instead of jeans.
"Jess, I don't want her here, I don't-"
"You don't want her to see you beat someone's ass?" He asks.
"No, I mean, I don't want to scare her." I say, carefully choosing my words.
"My god, Harry, have you met the girl? She's not easily spooked," He laughs, "in fact, if there was one person on this campus that could beat your ass, it's probably her."
I shake my head, her face appearing in my mind as all of my thoughts divert to her. I can picture her deep brown eyes easily, her eyebrows drawn as she tells me off or scolds me for calling her some lame nickname.
"Harry!" Rylands voice shouts.
"That's my cue." I nod, jogging to the next room with Niall following closely behind.
JESS
Me and Sam walk in the door from getting Chinese and instantly we're shivering. It's only October but it's cooled down quite a bit these past few days making the heat in our building a saving grace. However, it seems our saving grace has disappeared.
"What the fuck is going on?" Sam shrieks, wrapping her arms around herself.
She wobbly stands on her bed and reaches her hand to the vent to see if any heat is coming out. I stand beside the bed with my arms out hoping to god that she doesn't fall.
"Oh my god! There's fucking cold air coming out of the vents! They actually have the air on right now! It's thirty degrees people!" She shouts, clumsily getting off the bed and storming back out of our room and toward Erica's, our dorm supervisor.
She knocks on the door frantically, her hands still shaking before she folds her arms back across her chest to keep warm. Erica opens the door dressed in her PJs, her glossy black hair tied up in a bun on top of her head.
"What do you want, Sam?" She groans, yawning.
"Do you not realize how fucking cold it is in here?" Sam screeches, waving her arms to gesture to the entire building.
"The heats out, if you ever checked your campus email you'd know that." Erica says, pursing her overly plumped lips.
"Oh whatever, no one checks that shit," Sam huffs, "when is it getting fixed?"
"Next Wednesday at the earliest according to Dean Carol but hopefully it'll be before then." She shrugs.
"Next Wednesday? That's an eternity! We're all gonna freeze to death!" She shouts, waving her arms again and storming back to our dorm down the hall.
I look back to Erica to see her roll her eyes and shut the door in my face. Despite not having an issue with Erica myself, Sam happens to hate her guts. From what I know, they were friends freshman year but then Erica decided popularity was more important than friendship, at least that's how Sam tells the story.
"Sorry Erica, have a good night." I call, turning back towards our dorm and trudging back down the hall.
When I shove the door to our dorm open my eyes land on Sam who has her suitcase open on her bed and already stuffed full of clothes.
"What the hell are you doing?" I ask, carefully closing the door behind me.
"Packing! There's no fucking way I'm staying in this icebox for a week and a half, I just texted Louis so we can stay with him."
"Stay with Louis? Does Louis even have an apartment?" I huff.
"No, he's staying with Harry right now, me and him fucked on Ryland's couch so he kicked him out." She sighs, rolling her eyes as if Ryland's the one in the wrong here.
"Harry? No, there's no way in hell I'm staying with him." I say, throwing a hoodie over my head to keep warm.
"Fine, stay here and freeze, but I'm sure that'll kill you quicker than a week at Casa de Styles." She laughs, squishing her suitcase down and attempting to zip it.
"What are you packing?" I sigh, my defenses crumbling the longer I'm standing in this freezing dorm.
"Aha! So, you are coming with me!" She grins, "I'm packing enough for two weeks just in case."
The thought of two weeks in the same house as Harry makes my blood boil. Why couldn't Louis stay with anyone else? Does he even have enough room for all the people staying in his house?
"Jess, start packing! My fingers are numb!" She shouts from the bathroom doorway.
I'm smacked back to reality and clumsily grab my suitcase from the bottom of my closet. I haphazardly grab clothes and shove them inside, plenty of jeans and sweaters to stay warm. I pack countless pairs of long pajamas and socks knowing that I freeze at night already let alone when it's only thirty degrees outside.
HARRY
I walk out into the bright lights of the ring, fluorescent lamps hung from the ceiling with shitty gaff tape. The crowd is decent for the late notice, everyone shouting and shoving forwards to get a better look as soon as I've walked out. I spot Pedada on the other side of the circle around us, still dressed in jeans and a white tshirt.
I doubt it'll still be white when this is over.
Ryland grabs his bullhorn to announce the bets and the rules, hyping the crowd up as he always does. I drown him out until I hear him shout, "Fight!"
Pedada charges me but I can already tell he's too slow. Sure he's a linebacker on the football team and his size should be intimidating but he punches in slow motion. I dodge all of his initial jabs and grab him around the neck in a head lock all too easily. His face is turning purple in seconds as I tighten my grip and his knees give out. He's on the ground all too quickly and I'm putting a beating on his perfect prince charming face.
He flails his fists at me, hitting me a few times in the chest and stomach but nothing even close to actually doing any damage. He taps out when my fist lands a hit straight to his nose, shattering the bridge of it and causing red to bleed in rivers down his chin.
I climb off him and Ryland holds up my hand in victory, the tape on my hands that was once white is now dripping crimson. The crowd screams a mix of boos and cheers before rushing around me and closing the circle, everyone patting me on the back and congratulating me on another great fight.
I turn around to ask Ryland what I made on this fight, but Louis is directly behind me just about to grab my shoulder. He has his keys in his hand, ready to go who knows where.
"Hey, the heat is out in Sam's building, they're freezing their asses off over there, I was gonna go pick them up. Can they stay with you until it gets fixed?" He asks carefully, trying to gauge my reaction.
I look over my shoulder to see Niall joining the conversation with concerned eyes. He nods to me, telling me that he's okay with it.
"I don't know if we have room-"
"We have plenty of room," Niall huffs, "come on Haz, it's supposed to snow this week."
The thought of Jess living in my house for who knows how long until the heat gets fixed sounds equally like heaven and hell. I'd get to see her gorgeous face every day, but I'd have to deal with her constant annoyance and arguing. Perhaps her staying with me would show her that I'm not as bad as she thinks I am. We just got off on the wrong foot at the party the other night.
"They can stay at my place." Ryland smirks, looking between me and Louis.
"No, I've got them, they can stay with me." I say quickly, cutting Ryland off before he can go any further.
He looks at me with narrowed eyes, but I avert my own and decide instead to discuss with Louis about when they're coming over.
"It's snowing right now actually, Sam asked if we can go pick them up. I don't even think she has snow tires." He says uneasily, obviously worried about what I'll say.
"Well, let's go rescue some frozen girls." I sigh, grabbing my jacket and tossing it over my shoulders.
Niall smiles at me excitedly, obviously pleased with my decision to allow our new house guests. I know that him and Jess seem to best friends somehow.
"I'm gonna head home and turn the heat up, maybe start a fire." Niall beams, shrugging on his jacket and following Louis outside.
I'm just about to follow suit when a hand reaches out and grabs my jacket, holding me back. I turn around expecting Ryland but instead I'm face to face with Ashlyn.
"Where are you going?" She pouts.
"Oh, we've got to go pickup Jess and Sam," I shrug, pulling away from her to keep up with the boys, "the heat's out in your building by the way."
"What?" She gasps, following me out.
"Yeah, not sure what's going on." I sigh, making my way to Louis's car.
"You'll let me stay with you too, right?" She asks, batting her eyelashes.
I know for a fact that there's no way in hell I would ever let Ashlyn stay at my house much later than a morning after and even then she'd be sleeping on the couch in the living room.
"Ryland just said he has plenty of room." I shrug, opening the passenger side door of Louis's car and closing it behind me.
"Are you kidding me? You're trading me out for that bitch? She just barged in today and nearly broke my favorite speaker, Harry! She's a psycho!" She whines, and I wish I wouldn't have rolled down the window.
"I know she is." I smile, already imagining her dark brown eyes scowling at me.
Louis collapses into the seat beside me and turns to me, his eyes wide with surprise. He blasts the heat and clicks his seatbelt before finally rolling up the goddamn window to drown out Ashlyn's pouting.
"You're riding with me? What about your car?" He asks, nodding his head over to the mustang.
"I'll get it later," I wave, "let's go get our girls, shall we?"
JESS
Louis is outside in record time, beeping his horn for us to come down. When we open the door him and Harry are rushing up to us and taking our suitcases from our hands. Louis takes Sam under his arm and walks her to the car, both of them laughing and kissing each other's cheeks.
"Hey, want me to take those?" Harry asks, pulling my attention back to him.
As soon as my eyes turn to him and take in his rosy cheeks I'm melting, guilt flooding me for all the horrible things I've wanted to say about him since the incident from this afternoon. But here he is, standing with snow flurries in his hair and offering to take my dress clothes to his car.
"Yeah, just be careful, I have a job interview this week." I say, handing him the various hangers of dresses and business skirts I couldn't decide between.
He nods and walks back to the car to hang them up in the backseat from the hooks above the windows. He tosses my suitcase in the trunk and slams it shut, walking back up to me. He shrugs off his jacket and tosses it over my shoulders, but I swat it off and hand it back to him.
"Jess, stop it, your lips are turning purple for fucks sake." He groans, putting the jacket around my shoulders again and walking me down to the car.
I sit in the passenger seat while Louis and Sam cuddle in the backseat, rubbing noses and sharing jackets. I peel my eyes away from the rearview mirror and instead turn my eyes to the window.
"You warm enough?" He asks, reaching for the heat dial.
"Yeah, I'm good." I sniffle, my teeth still chattering.
He shakes his head and turns the heat up, rolling his eyes as he puts the car in gear and backs out of his parking spot. It's a nearly silent car ride other than the faint giggling and whispering from Sam and Louis in the backseat. Every part of me wants him to talk to me just so I can hear his accent riddled voice but he only hums along to the radio.
We pull up outside his apartment after an eternity in the car. I offer to help bring the bags up but he tells me to go inside and take a hot shower. I oblige, not having the strength to argue against being in the warmth of his apartment.
I allow him to help me out of the car before walking inside and instantly feeling my body relax due to the burning warmth inside. Niall is sat on the floor in front of the fireplace trying to get a fire going when he turns around with a big smile to greet me.
"Hey! Oh god, you look freezing, I-"
"Sorry, I'm gonna go take a shower to defrost." I say quickly, cutting him off.
I round the corner past the kitchen to where I know the bathroom stands from their last party. I slip inside and turn the shower on full heat, flooding the bathroom with warm steam in a matter of seconds. I strip out of his jacket and my dress, kicking my shoes off and climbing into the shower. The hot water hits me, and I can finally breathe as my lungs no longer feel like they're burning. I reach for shampoo but only come across a two-in-one body wash and shampoo combo bottle.
I reluctantly pour some into my hand knowing that my hair will not be thanking me later just as a knock sounds at the door before it's pulled open and closed again.
"Sam?" I ask hopefully.
"Nope, it's me," He says plainly, "I got your stuff, toothbrush, we have toothpaste so I left that, some kind of face wash stuff, makeup remover, underwear and flannel pajamas."
"You went through my stuff?" I ask, horrified.
"Oh, yeah, because I'm sure you'd much rather walk through the apartment in a towel than me picking you out a pair of panties, dollface." He groans, and I can hear the eyeroll in his voice, "I hung your stuff up in my closet too, you're welcome."
He opens the door again with a heavy sigh and I find myself calling his name hoping that he hears me before he slams it shut again.
"Yes?" He asks sounding purely annoyed.
"Thank you." I say carefully.
He sighs again, and I can picture his solemn face as I hear the door knob twist again.
"No problem, dollface."
The door shuts again, and I curse myself when I miss his company. I finally turn the shower off when I'm one hundred percent sure I'm as warm as can be. As soon as the water stops the cold air hits me and I'm quickly drying myself with a towel he left out for me and slipping on the blue plaid PJs he grabbed. I wrap my hair up in the towel and reach for the makeup remover he brought to take off the remaining mascara streaking down my cheeks. I wash my face and unwrap my hair, looking through my things to see that he didn't remember a hairbrush. I see one sitting on top in the first drawer and judging by the few long dark hairs wrapped in it, it's Harry's. I run it through my hair and toss it back into the drawer before hanging my towel on the towel rack. I notice that he left my slippers and a pair of socks in the corner and I grab them, slipping on the socks that are most definitely not mine before shoving my feet in my slippers. I walk back out to the living room to see it only occupied by Harry and Niall watching cage fighting.
"Where did Sam and Louis go?" I ask, causing them both to turn around on the couch.
"I think they um, went about warming up a different way than the rest of us." Niall laughs, turning back to the TV.
"Oh." I say, awkwardly standing between the kitchen and living room.
"You can come sit down you know, we'll change the channel." Niall smiles, patting the seat next to him and I happily collapse into the couch beside him.
I glance at the clock to see it reading eleven o'clock. No wonder my eyelids feel heavy, it's been a long day. I turn to look at Harry across the couch, but his eyes are glued to the TV. I turn back to the TV myself and watch as Niall clicks through the channels until landing on some action movie he swears is the best ever.
"You hungry?" Harry asks, not bothering to peel his eyes away from the TV.
"More tired than hungry." I yawn, letting my head fall back against the couch.
"Go to bed then, my room is right next to the bathroom."
"Your room? No thanks, I'll stay on the couch." I huff.
Louis and Sam come stumbling out of his room as the words come out of my mouth and start to raid the kitchen for midnight snacks.
"Wouldn't recommend sleeping on that couch, Jess. The thing has more springs than a jail cell mattress and it has about double the chance of getting HIV." Louis laughs, wrapping his arms around Sam and kissing her cheek.
Harry glares at him over the couch but Louis only chuckles, starting what looks like a grilled cheese in a pan on the stove.
"What about Niall's room? You'll let me room with you, right?" I ask politely, nudging his shoulder.
He smiles, "You bet I would Jess, but I've got a twin bed, it's barely big enough for me."
I sigh, looking up to see Harry staring at me with that stupid smirk on his face. Niall gets up off the couch to join Louis and Sam in the kitchen and make himself a grilled cheese.
"It's not so bad," Harry shrugs, moving closer to me, "It's warm."
"Sorry but if your couch has double the chance of HIV, I'm sure your bed is triple." I groan, rolling my eyes.
"I've never had a woman in my bed." He says seriously.
"Yeah sure," I laugh, "and I bet you're an 'A' student too."
"I'm serious, Jess."
His eyes meet mine and I can see the sternness to them. He's not lying. But why if all this time he's never had a girl in his bed would he let me be the first?
"So why me then?"
"Because you're different, dollface."
"How so?" I challenge, not falling for his cliché remarks.
"Do you plan on sleeping with me tonight?" He asks abruptly.
"Not in a million years."
"Well there you go, that's why," He huffs, "Now go get in my bed, I've got extra blankets in the closet."
I drag myself up from the comfort of the couch and trudge my feet to his bedroom. I kick my slippers off and sit on the edge of his bed, glancing at the pair of glasses sitting on his nightstand. I wonder if I've ever seen him wear glasses and just didn't notice as I tuck myself under his heavy comforter and breathe in the smell of him lingering on his sheets. I'm just barely asleep when I feel the bed dip beside me and a wave of heat crash over me.
I turn over on my side to come face to face with him, his glasses sliding down the bridge of his nose.
"What the hell are you doing?" I whisper, not knowing how late it is.
"Sleeping?" He says but it comes out more like a question as he slides his glasses off and puts them next to his alarm clock, "I plugged your phone in by the way."
I stare at him incredulously, wondering how he thinks this is okay. He turns over on his side, his hair splaying out across his pillow as he tugs some of the comforter away from me.
"We're both just going to-"
"Sleep in my bed? Yes, where else am I supposed to sleep, Jess?" He asks annoyedly as he turns back over to meet my eyes, "feel free to spoon me for warmth, dollface."
I roll my eyes at his careless demeaner as I grab one of the pillows from under my head and stuff it between us. As soon as I'm sure we're as far apart as we can get within this full-sized bed, I let my eyes fall closed.

Bambi (Werewolf #1) Chapter 3
Tumblr media
So this is the third chapter for this book. I hope you will all enjoy it and support me through some coffees. SEND ME COFFEES HERE.
She could hear the pattering of the rain against the car windows though it was too dark to see outside, she was informed that they were reaching the pack in a few minutes. It had been a tiring journey, they had drove from her pack for twelve hours straight before taking a flight to Anchorage and further seven hours till Alpha Jedrek's pack. It was three in the morning and she was awfully exhausted by the strains of the journey, she had been sitting for approximately forty eight hours.
They had not spoken again, partly because all she was doing was sleeping since they started or maybe he was busy with his pack business. He was very menacing and quiet, he had the quality of engulfing a person in an intimidating silence, and even their driver had been ramrod straight and attentive for the past many hours since he was driving, he couldn't afford to slack or who knew what Alpha Jedrek might do.
She felt the car slow down and she discreetly looked at Alpha Ekon, the car came to a halt and she saw him step out and then a few moments later her door opened and she saw him taking her hand and gently pulling her outside. It was raining outside but it seemed like they were standing in a garage, she was pulled in the direction of a door and they entered the house, the interiors were of course not very lighted but she could still very clearly make out things that were placed, her werewolf vision made things much easier. She wanted to appreciate the house but she couldn't make out any of its features and also she was so sleepy. His calloused hands lead her up the stairs.
They entered a room and she saw him lead her to the bed.
"Sleep," he commanded and simply walked out of the room. She stared at his retreating body and tried to close her eyes only to be woken up by the loud crackling of the thunder, a whimper left her lips and she brought her legs to her chest, forming into a ball and tried to sleep. Whenever it rained in her previous pack she would always sneak into her brother's room at night and doze off beside him but things were different now. Another thunder followed and she sat up straight in her bed.
The door opened again and she saw him enter. He stilled and turned towards her direction.
"You are still awake?"
She whimpered.
He walked to her and sat on the bed, right beside her.
"Why are you not sleeping?"
She didn't respond.
"There is no point in being homesick Bambi, it is best you get used to it,"
"I-I can't sleep," she whispered and trembled at the thunder sound resonating in the room.
"Are you scared of the storm outside?"
"Y-Yes,"
He sighed and turned around to adjust the pillows behind him and pulled her, she laid her head on his chest and closed her eyes.
She slept just fine.
***
She blushed at the thought of sleeping with him last night, placing her head on his chest listening to his strong heartbeat and after a while when she was all droopy she could feel his fingers running through her hair. She took her favourite dress out of the cupboard and giggled. She had always received complements in this dress, it was a beautiful green dress that stopped right above her knee, it accentuated her frail figure and brought out the rich colour of her hair.
She stepped into her ballerinas and walked out of the dressing room. Their room was humongous with deep grey walls and floor to ceiling windows and a king sized bed right in the middle, it lacked a feminine touch but the room was grand and beautiful. She walked out of the room her eyes grazing the deep blue walls and the stark white marbles, the house was beautiful in a way that made it feel eerie and fit for an Alpha. The art on the walls was spectacular, she could sense a Botticelli on the wall, and how did Alpha Ekon get his hands on this painting? She remembered asking Max to take her to this very high profile art exhibition and she had seen a Picasso and when she requested Max he had scoffed and instead got a free sketch of both of them done and gifted it to her. She giggled at her brother's minimal knowledge about art.
She walked down the stairs staring at the beautiful house and walked into the living area, she saw Beta Ryland going through some files before his eyes turned to her.
His eyes widened and she saw him look at her head to toe.
"You look beautiful Luna Bambi,"
She blushed, her cheeks warming up. The dress sure did bring out many complements; she had worn it for Alpha Ekon specifically.
"I hope you slept well yesterday, the journey must have been very tiring," he said, looking at the ground, his eyes now lowered.
"I-I slept v-very well, thank you," she whispered.
"Let's get going Ryland," she heard her mate. She turned around to find him descending down the stairs, his hair was open spilled over his shoulders and he wore a fitted black t-shirt with camouflage cargo pants and boots. He looked like a menacing Alpha with his outfit. Max always wore suits when going to work.
She stood in front of him, looking at him expectantly, she had dressed up just for him but he stared behind her.
"Mate, you will stay inside the house, a warrior will be appointed to you soon," he said and just walked out.
She stood standing there; she turned to find the Beta giving her pitiful looks. A tear spilled on her cheeks and she realised the gravity of the situation, he would never be able to appreciate what she wore or how she looked. She ran upstairs, her cheeks flaming with embarrassment. She entered Ekon's room and closed the door behind her.
Why exactly was she here? She wanted to go home.
She picked up her phone and dialled to Max.
"Little one," he said, "how are you?"
"I am good, I miss you Max,"
"I do too, is he treating you well?"
"Max... can I ask you something?"
"Sure..."
"Am I good looking?"
"What kind of a question is that Max? Of course! I haven't seen someone more beautiful than you!" he said, "Did he call you ugly? I am coming there right now."
"No," she sobbed, "you know that green dress that you got me?"
"Yes, the one in which you look like an absolute angel,"
"Yes, well I wore it today and he didn't even look at me let alone complement,"
There was a pause.
"Little one, you know that he can't see right?"
"But his wolf can,"
"He cannot get his wolf on the surface all the time Bambi, a half shift is dangerous and energy consuming for us," he whispered.
"I know... but it hurts Max,"
"I know it does."
"I feel lonely Max...would he have been different if he..."
"He is one of the best Alphas in this world; his eyesight should not be seen as a weakness Bambi,"
"I know I am sorry,"
"How is he treating you?"
"He was very sweet when it was raining outside, he helped me sleep,"
"Good to hear that,"
"How are you doing? What about Ryan?"
"We are all good here, you take care," he said and she nodded and placed the phone on the night stand. She turned around and found him standing at the door. Her heart thudded against her chest. Had he heard their conversation?
He strode towards her, she stepped back till her back hit the bed, she bit her lip and gulped. Was he hurt with whatever she said? She didn't mean them! She was just very sad. He stood in front of her his grey eyes in her direction but not entirely on her. She could feel her body get cold and clammy, a sniffle left her but she didn't dare move.
"Like I said before Bambi, my eyesight should not be seen as weakness. I know what you wear and I know how you look, I don't have to announce it to the world, am I understood?"
"Yes,"
"And when you decide on wearing something pretty, you show it to me first, you don't run downstairs and get complements from my Beta. Am I clear?"
"Y-Yes Alpha,"
"And you do not run to your brother for every small thing that hurts you. This is a new pack and a new atmosphere, that is understood but efforts should be made to adjust... not whine about your mate not looking at you,"
A tear trickled down her cheek.
"And stay away from every man except me... I think you know that you belong to me, I don't want to reiterate that fact time and again," he said. His voice was cold and unflinchingly firm.
He leaned forward and placed a kiss on her forehead.
"Be ready when I return, we are going out for a dinner tonight,"
And then he left the room, leaving her behind.

Rylands House (1/2)
Campbell x Bella, modern day AU
15 year old Campbell is less than impressed with his new home. But a certain new friend might help change that.
AO3
Campbell Bain hastily stubbed out his cigarette as his social worker approached. The stub was ground into the pavement beneath his trainer, and he hastily kicked it away before reaching for his rucksack and guitar case.
“Don’t think I didn’t see ye smoking,” his social worker told him with a knowing look. “Ye need to pack it in, Campbell. It’s doing ye no good.”
“Aye,” Campbell muttered, “much like yer drinking then, Eddie.”
Eddie McKenna frowned at the fifteen year old and watched as he stooped to grab another of his bags.
“My drinking habits are none of your business, Campbell,” he reminded the teenager sharply. “And I’d watch your manners if I were you; I’m your social worker, and you need to remember that.”
Campbell just snorted at that, and made his way towards Eddie’s car.
“And I don’t have a drinking problem.” Eddie’s words fell on deaf ears and he sighed, stooping to collect the last of Campbell’s bags.
Campbell’s belongings finally in the boot of Eddie’s car, they climbed in and began the drive through London to the new children’s home he would be staying at. While it wasn’t far- as Eddie had continually reminded the teenager- the London traffic made the journey a considerable length, during which Campbell spent almost all of the time with his headphones on, listening to music on his phone, leaving Eddie to sit in silence.
When they finally pulled up outside the new children’s home, Campbell took one look at the old building with its’ white wooden porch and old-fashioned front door with its stained glass, and raised an eyebrow.
“I’m staying here?” he asked in bewilderment, whipping round to see Eddie already pulling his belongings out of the boot.
“Aye,” Eddie nodded, “and I’m sure you’ll settle in just fine, Campbell.”
Then, with Campbell still protesting in the driveway, Eddie made his way to the door. They didn’t have to wait long before the door was opened and they were ushered inside by a brown-haired lady of about mid-fifties.
“This must be Campbell, yes? I’m Mrs Rogers,” the woman said, smiling at Campbell.
Campbell said nothing in response, and Eddie sighed.
“Campbell,” Eddie muttered, giving the teenager a nudge.
The boy glared, but reluctantly said hello to Mrs Rogers, who looked unfazed by Campbell’s attitude. Instead, Mrs Rogers began talking them through daily life at Rylands, explaining to Campbell that the home consisted only of teenagers, from the age of thirteen up, and that he’d be given his own room due to his bipolar.
“Purely so that you have your own space,” Mrs Rogers clarified with a smile at Campbell’s questioning look. “It’s not the biggest of rooms, but it gives you somewhere to go when you need to be alone, and also somewhere private for if and when we administer your medication, if you don’t want anyone else seeing.”
Campbell glanced at Eddie then, but the man didn’t look fazed. Clearly, Mrs Rogers had talked it through with him beforehand.
“As I said,” Eddie explained calmly, “Campbell’s previous homes hadn’t been able to offer that, but I think it would work out better for him in the long run. Aye, Campbell?”
“Aye,” Campbell mumbled, shifting uncomfortably.
Luckily, the conversation shifted then, to Campbell’s medication- a tablet a day- and to taking his things up to his room. Eddie helped with that, and soon it was time for him to leave.
“You’re actually leaving me here?!” Campbell hissed as Eddie made for the door.
“Aye.” Eddie frowned in confusion. “You’ll be fine here, Campbell.”
The teen shifted uncomfortably at that. “I don’t know, Eddie. I just...” He trailed off and shrugged, not really sure what to say.
Eddie gave him a sympathetic look.
“You’ll be fine,” Eddie insisted gently. “You’ve got your own room, there are plenty of other kids your age, they’re more than happy to handle your medication...” He paused, and gave Campbell a knowing smile. “I know this is the sixth time you’ve moved this year, but I promise it’s the last. Don’t forget, three of those times were temporary foster homes.”
“But what if they decide they can’t cope with my bipolar?” Campbell stammered. “I mean, the last home did!”
“Aye, but Mrs Rogers has assured me it won’t happen here.” Eddie closed the space between them, clapped a hand on Campbell’s shoulder. “You’ve got your own room, you’re doing well on your medication, and all the kids in this home are old enough to understand your medical condition. The previous home wasn’t a good match, and I’m sorry about that. You were in there with kids a third of your age, Campbell. I had to move ye, before ye slipped through the net.”
~0~0~
It wasn’t until the next morning that Campbell had the opportunity to meet all his new housemates. While the majority of them had all been there for dinner the previous night, it seemed one of them had managed to skip the meal altogether.
He was making his way down to breakfast when he became aware of Mrs Rogers’ raised voice coming from her office.
“-not good enough, Bella! I just don’t know what to do with you! You’re a smart girl, you could be getting much better grades, if you just paid attention in class!”
Campbell drew nearer to the door, not recalling any ‘Bella’ the previous night when Mrs Rogers had introduced him to everyone. The office door was just open a crack, allowing him to view a sliver of the room. There was movement, but he couldn’t see enough to tell who it was, or what the person looked like.
“And then, then you don’t come home from school! Half past ten you rolled in last night! More than three hours after curfew!”
“It was a Friday night-” an annoyed voice protested, and Campbell realised it must be this Bella.
“Bella, it was after curfew!” Mrs Rogers interrupted. “We didn’t know where you’d gone! We were going to call the Police!”
“Yeah, well, I’m back now,” Bella grumbled. “An’ this is the exact reason I didn’t wanna come back! So I failed a maths test, it wasn’t like it was GCSEs, or anythin’!”
“No,” Mrs Rogers countered, “but you’re not going to pass your GCSEs, Bella, if you don’t pay attention in class!”
Campbell heard Bella huff then, and he stifled a laugh. Whoever this Bella was, it seemed she was somewhat used to Mrs Rogers’ telling her off.
“Fine,” Bella ground out after a moment. “Can I go now?”
Moments later, the door to Mrs Rogers’ office was flung open, and a short blonde teenager came storming out, barrelling straight into Campbell’s chest.
“Who are you?” Bella demanded as she pulled away again.
Campbell opened his mouth to speak, but before he could find the words, Mrs Rogers was at the door.
“Bella, this is Campbell. He’s the new boy who arrived yesterday,” Mrs Rogers announced, drawing Bella’s attention back to her. “You’d know that if you were here for dinner last night.”
Bella rolled her eyes at that, before pushing past Campbell and heading for the dining room.
~0~0~
Campbell watched as Bella left the dining room. Breakfast had been a quiet affair- if you ignored Gary and Terry mocking him from across the room- and it seemed Bella was all too eager to get out of there. Watching to see that everyone else was occupied, Campbell slipped out of his seat and followed her.
“Bella, wasn’t it?” he called after her as she neared the stairs.
She didn’t turn round.
“We didn’t get the chance to meet yesterday,” he continued, finally catching up with the girl.
“Yeah, well, I had things to do.” Bella shrugged as she began to ascend the stairs, still not looking at him.
“Aye, so I heard.” Campbell nodded, a smirk on his face. That earned him a glare from Bella, and she looked at him for the first time since they’d been outside Mrs Rogers’ office before breakfast.
Campbell continued beaming though and, finally, she cracked a small smile.
“Well, you know how it is,” she told him with a sigh. “Mrs Rogers is nice, but she’s so... Fussy. I mean, it was one maths test. It’s not like my life’s over because of it.”
They were walking along the corridor then, and Campbell could only assume Bella was subconsciously leading him to her room.
“Aye, my social worker Eddie’s a bit like that,” Campbell admitted. “Acts like me skipping one day of school is gonna destroy everythin’. But it’s not. I wanna go into music, what use is science to me?”
“Exactly!” Bella grinned.
They came to a halt then, at the last door along the corridor.
“This is my room,” Bella said, almost needlessly. “You can come in, if you want. We can continue talking. I mean, it didn’t look like you’ve made many friends yet at breakfast, an’ we seem to be gettin’ on...” She trailed off, looking a little awkward, and shrugged. “Stacy, my roommate, she’s goin’ out with some friends from school, so it won’t be a problem.”
“Aye, I’d love to,” Campbell said, nodding furiously.
And just like that, Bella was beaming again. She led Campbell inside her room, and he took it all in.
“It’s pretty crap,” Bella said when she saw that Campbell was taking in the room. “They’ve not decorated for years. This room’s been the same since I moved in, at least, and that was two years ago.”
Campbell just nodded, taking in the photos taped to the wall above Bella’s bed. There were a couple of Bella and some other teenagers, one with Stacy in, but the rest seemed to be of landscapes. Nearby streets, the local park, some close-ups of trees and shadows.
“These are good,” Campbell told her. “Did you take them?”
Bella nodded, but looked a little uncomfortable.
“They’re not that good,” Bella responded softly. “Thank you for saying so, though. I’ve only got a crappy little camera, and I’m not allowed to buy any editing software or anything. I’m saving for my own laptop though, and then I’ll be able to get some editing stuff.”
Campbell was still stood in the middle of the room, his hands deep in the pockets of his jeans, even as Bella settled on the edge of her bed.
“You’re lucky,” Bella told him suddenly, “that you get your own room. I mean, I know it’s ‘cause of your medication and stuff, but you’re still lucky. You don’t have to share with anyone.”
Not really knowing what to say to that, Campbell just shrugged. He knew that all the kids in the home knew about his bipolar, because Eddie had told him so, but he hadn’t actually expected any of them to be so understanding. He’d been gearing up for a fight about it, he realised, ready to punch anyone who mocked him for it. But instead, Bella was understanding and sympathetic, and just a little bit jealous that it meant he got his own room.
“It’s not that bad, is it? Sharing a room? I mean, I had to share at my previous homes, and it wasn’t that annoying.” He shifted again.
“No,” Bella conceded. “But if I had my own room I’d be able to find everything for starters. Stacy’s got a habit of leaving her stuff everywhere, then I can never find my own things.”
“Aye, I had that problem in my previous home,” Campbell nodded. “Kept buying strings for my guitar and then not being able to find them in among all the shite my roommate left lying around.”
They descended into an uncomfortable silence after that, neither of them quite knowing what else to say.
“You wanna go to the park or something?” Campbell asked suddenly. “Get out of here for a bit?”
Bella sighed at that. “I’d love to, Campbell, but ‘m grounded. Didn’t come back ‘til after curfew last night, remember?”
Campbell visibly deflated at that. “Oh.”
“You can still go out, though,” Bella pointed out. “You don’t have to stay here just because I have to.”
“Aye,” Campbell nodded, looking a little awkward, “I know. But I don’t wanna leave ye here on your own.” He paused. “Besides, in the ten minutes we’ve been talking, you’ve been more of a friend to me than anyone in my last three homes.”
“Oh.” Bella blinked.
There was a slightly awkward silence.
“So,” Campbell spoke up again, finally plucking up the courage to flop down on the bed beside Bella. “What is there to do around here?”

THE WHITE SUN AT MIDNIGHT | J.BLACK Ch. 41
*La Push, Washington*
"I still don't see why we have to go here," Ryland whined as Paige dragged him to the Black household. After settling in Piedmont, a group of four wolves -- consisting of Ryland, Chloe, Mika, Dakoda, and Ashton -- had joined Paige on a journey back to La Push to greet old friends. In some cases, like Ashton, Dakoda, and Mika, they visited Teydon and Mrs. Miller in Forks. But others like Paige, Ryland, and Chloe were visiting the Uley Pack. Mostly to announce their arrival and declare peace.
"If you want to be my third-in-command, then you gotta follow me to meetings," Paige emphasized on the word 'meetings' to cause a chuckle to escape Chloe's lips. The Claymore girl knocked eagerly on the white door and waited for someone to answer. Not long after, she was shocked at who opened it. Charlie gasped when he saw his daughter.
"Paige?" He gawked, and a wide grin fell across Paige's face.
"Hey," Charlie practically tackled her in a tight hug. Both Miller's smiled and squeezed through the doorframe to talk to Billy and Sue Clearwater, who was getting ready to eat dinner. "I missed you," Charlie gripped Paige tighter, who giggled and stepped back.
"I did too. But my tribe moved to an area right outside Port Angeles, so we won't be too far away," she said, and Charlie guided her into the small house.
"Hi, Paige!" Billy exclaimed; he grabbed her hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. Sue waved at her, which she returned before nudging Ryland over since he was taking up the couch.
The adults asked the trio dozens of questions, such as why they decided to come back, everyone's new placement in the tribe, and so on. Chloe was in the middle of explaining the basics of their tribe beliefs when the three wolves heard the loud groaning of a motorcycle stopping in front of the house.
An uncontrollable glow brightened up Paige's face, which she tried to hide as Jake strutted in casually. It wasn't until his intense eyes fell upon the three Claymore wolves did he stop. He tried to hold himself together when they pierced into Paige's hazel ones.
"Hey, son," Billy defused the staring.
"What's going on?" Jake asked quickly, not breaking his eye contact with his imprint.
"Those three are visiting, probably here for you, unless they really enjoy Sue's cooking," Billy teased as he pointed to Ryland, Chloe, and Paige. "Bella called Charlie," he finished. Jake stepped around his father and began discussing Bella with Charlie. Paige was listening in as the Miller siblings continued their conversation with Sue. Paige raised an eyebrow when Charlie mentioned Bella being sick. She knew what it meant. Bella was in transition.
"She'll be okay, Charlie. Come on, let's eat," Sue cut in, and Charlie sat at the dining table cautiously. Jake held in a roar of anger and instead stormed outside.
"Jacob, let it go," Billy tried to stop him, but he just yanked out of his grasp and went outside. Paige stood swiftly and without another word, not even a look towards Ryland or Chloe; she was racing after him.
"Jake!" she called, and Jacob stopped. He slowly turned around and met her eyes. A sigh fell from the Black boy's lips, and he walked up to Paige, engulfing her in a long hug.
"I missed you so much," he purred, resting his nose in her neck.
"I know I --" her imprint's lips cut off Paige. A few kisses later, they finally disconnected.
"I gotta go give Cullen a piece of my mind," Jake added.
"We were having a moment, and you're thinking about Cullen?" Paige joked, brushing her nose against his.
Jake laughed lowly. "Not anymore; my mind is completely clear. The only thing I'm imagining is kissing every inch of you. Inside and out."
Paige hummed in warmth and said, "yes, well, you can do that after we kick Cullen's ass."
A/N: Sorry, this chapter is super short. I just got really tired

Natural State Medicinals, Bold Team LLC, Natural State Wellness Enterprises, Osage Creek Cultivation and Delta Medical Cannabis Company Inc. were the five companies awarded permits to grow medical cannabis by the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Commission on Tuesday.
(Natural State Wellness filed separate applications for two counties — both of which were awarded in the top five — and it will have to choose which county.)
Within seven days, the top five must pay a fee of $100,000 and file a $500,000 performance bond. If not, the permit will go to applicants with the next highest scores. The application fee was $15,000. Industry insiders have estimated that applicants may have spent $100,000 to $150,000 in preparation.
The applicant ranked sixth was River Valley Relief, associated with Storm Nolan, the head of the Arkansas Cannabis Industry Association.
An image of the players involved in the industry is emerging. Natural State Wellness is led by Hank Wilkins V, son of Jefferson County Judge Hank Wilkins. Former Attorney General Dustin McDaniel says he's a part owner, consultant and lawyer for the group, which was started by the Ross Group, headquartered in Tulsa.
"We appreciate that it is a public trust that has been placed upon our company to produce quality, safe and legal medicine to Arkansas patients. We will make a location decision shortly and will promptly begin construction. For the last year, my partner Bart Calhoun and I have served as legal counsel and lobbyists for this effort, and we are both investors in the company, along with a number of fellow Arkansans," McDaniel said in a statement.
Natural State Medicinals, incorporator Joseph Courtright, will grow in Jefferson County. Osage, incorporator Jay Trulove, will set up in Carroll County. Delta Medical Cannabis, incorporator Jason Willet, will operate in Jackson County. Bold Team LCC, Danny Brown incorporator, will grow in Cotton Plant (Woodruff County).
Commissioners scored redacted applications individually and provided their scores to staff, which aggregated the scores. Bonus points were awarded to applicants that were affiliated with a doctor (2.5 points), demonstrated a plan to benefit the community (2.5 points), delivered economic impact (2.5 points) and included minority ownership (2.5 points). Four of the five successful applicants — Carroll County was the exception — were in counties designated as being in the lowest tier of prosperity by the Arkansas Economic Development Commission.
The Arkansas Times talked with Angela Ryland, liaison for Bold Team and president of the Cotton Plant Chamber of Commerce, as she waited around 2 p.m. in a long line of more than 100 people hoping to attend the commission's meeting.
"We believe this is going to be the hero of Cotton Plant. We have no industry," Ryland said. "We have no Dollar General store. We have no service station, no grocery store, no bank ... we need this."
Of Bold Team, she said: "They found us. But I'm not at liberty to go further [about investors]. But they found us." Ryland noted that musician Sister Rosetta Tharpe was from Cotton Plant, and "outside of [Tharpe], this is about the best we've got. ... We have music and marijuana: M&M."
Ryland was too far back in line to make it into the meeting room.
The commission will next consider 228 applications for medical marijuana dispensaries. Commissioners will award 32 licenses, four in eight geographic zones. There is no deadline, but commission staff said they expected the process to take several months. The amendment to the state Constitution allowing the growing of marijuana was passed in November 2016.
The meeting room was packed. Those outside who couldn't get in watched a live stream on their phones. As the 3:30 p.m. meeting time approached, "Well," said one man, "seven more minutes until we learn who won the lottery."

I Didnt Ask For This (Chapter 26)
*9 months later*
P.o.v Rocky
Rydel, Riker, and I have been married now for nearly two months and everything has been amazing! Rydel is one and a half months pregnant. In all honesty though I just wish Ryland were here to celebrate with us because I haven't seen him since before I left with mom to buy the rings for Rydel and Riker. I was told by Riker and Rydel When mom and I got back that While we were gone, Ryland stormed into the house, packed his things and then left without saying a word to anyone, although about a week or so later he finally called the house, said he was okay and that he would call, two to three times a week to update us on how he is doing. Although he specifically asked not to let Ellington contact him unless he asks to speak to him. At first it took me a while to figure out why but then I remembered that one conversation I had with Ellington after a long period of not having seen him. He told me that he was gay and in love with Ryland. Ellington Had told Ryland how he felt about him and then Ryland of course decided to deal with it the way he deals with anything involving feelings. he runs away." It was at that moment that I realized that it was Ellington's fault that my little brother ran away to live in New York city. Although I of course am not mad at Ellington for this because how was he supposed to know that Ryland was going to run away like that when he had confessed his love for him.
P.o.v Ryland
it has been nine, heading on ten months now since I moved to New York City and I've been doing quite well believe it or not... I mean the first two months were a bit rough considering I was living off of what I made from being a waiter at planet hollywood in Times Square, but I now have a steady job of being the Dj for a club near my apartment that I am currently renting. Part of me wants to go back to L.A to visit my family for a bit but I don't know if I can face Ellington just yet. I mean I know it may have seemed a bit irrational to just run away to New York like that but if i'm being honest, it's more than just the fact that Ellington had, and maybe even still has feelings for me. It's the fact that not only am i confused about my feelings for him but I am also quite confused about a bunch of other things, such as, who I really am, and what I really want to do with the rest of my life. I just want to figure out what I want in life before I see Ellington again because I don't want him to influence my decision too highly.
P.o.v Ellington
It has now been nearly 10 months since I told Ryland how I felt about him which caused him to leave. I am just so thankful that the others aren't mad at me for what I did because it is completely my fault that he left. I mean, i get that it's my feelings and I can't help who I fall for but my mind keeps convincing me that what I did was a bad thing because if I had just kept my mouth shut, Ryland would still be here and everything would have just stayed normal. the thought of that haunts me every single day and night. In Fact, the last time I had a decent sleep was when he was still here. I don't even care at this point whether he wants to be with me or not, I just want him to be here, where I know for a fact that he is safe. It was at that moment that I realized that I was crying for the sixth time that day.
P.o.v Riker
Ellington has been taking it really hard that Ryland left. In fact I'm positive that he is taking it harder than the rest of us did. at first I wasn't really sure what was going on and why Ellington was so upset about this but then once Rocky realized what was going on, he told me and I feel really bad for Ellington now. He just mopes around, all depressed and sometimes I hear him cry in pain at night. in fact everyone hears it but only Rocky and I know what is really happening. Rocky and I have tried to convince him to stop cutting but nothing has worked. We even tried calling Ryland, asking him to come back but he would just say he isn't ready to come back yet. I just wish there was something we could do to get Ellington to stop cutting and be happy again.
P.o.v Ryland
I am currently sitting on the couch in my apartment just thinking about my situation and what I should do. it was Right then that I knew what I had to do. with that I start to pack my clothes so that all I have to pack tomorrow is a couple last minute things. After I finished packing my clothes, the rest of the day seems to drag on but finally it becomes a decent time to go to bed.
*The next morning*
I get up, grab my laptop and buy a one way ticket for the soonest flight to L.A. I leave at noon and it's 7:00AM now meaning I have to leave in like two hours for the New York airport.
*on the plane*
I can't believe I'm doing this! I'm actually going to go home to face my family again for the first time in about 10 months. The greatest but most nerve wracking part about that though is that I get to see everyone again! I get to see Ellington again. I haven't been able to stop thinking about him since I left L.A almost 10 months ago. I know it was kind of stupid to wait this long to go back if I basically knew that I loved him all this time. I understand that now and part of me regrets leaving but I am also somewhat glad that I left because had I stayed I probably wouldn't know that I am in love with him because I wouldn't of had to go through the heartache that I did in order to realize my feelings. Before I got on the plane I told Rocky to come pick me up from the airport because I was finally going to come home and I told him my plan. I would wait with Rocky in the back yard by the pool and then Rocky would text Riker to bring Ellington outside to the back yard and then I would take it from there. I was then pulled from my thoughts by the intercom. we were just told that we would be landing in L.A now.
*after getting off the plane to meet with Rocky*
we were headed to the car with my stuff when Rocky spoke. "Are you sure you're ready to see Ellington and tell him how you feel?" concern filling his voice. "why? does he not have feelings for me anymore?" i asked scared to actually know the answer to that question. "no no, it's not that at all!" he reassured me.  "okay, then what is it?" i asked "I don't know. I just wanted to make sure you still felt that way about him, that's all." he responded.  "yes! are you crazy! he is all that I could think about while I was gone these past nine months! I tried so hard in the beginning to convince myself that everything would be okay if I came back ,but part of me knew it would be best to wait it out." i said "it's funny that you say that..." Rocky replied. "what!?!" I said with my voice now full of panic "oh nothing..."  Rocky said avoiding the topic of conversation. "Rocky!" i said in a warning tone. "Ryland!" he said mocking me. "No Rocky! I'm serious! What aren't you telling me?" i practically yelled as my throat began to swell and the tears began to build up in my eyes at the thought that it has something to do with Ellington. This fight then continued until we drove into the laneway. Then finally Rocky gave in. "you know what, fine! Just please don't hate Ellington for this, he's been through a lot." Rocky said barely above a whisper. "why? is he okay" i asked, nearly dying inside. "When you left for New York nine months ago... Ellington started harming himself. It wasn't long after that Riker and I found out about it and we have tried to find a way to convince him to stop. Believe me, but what he told me really hurt. He said that the pain he felt from you leaving made the pain from the knife feel like a sense of relief" he said and at that point we were both on the verge of tears. Rocky then texted Riker to Bring Ellington to the Back yard. we waited a couple minutes until Rocky got a text from Riker apparently still asking why this was happening and we took that as a signal that they were Ready. Rocky and I then came to the gate into the backyard and thats when I saw Ellington. His back facing to me as he talked to Riker. "Ellington... I saod breathlessly. with That he turned around and before he even got the chance to speak I dropped my bags, ran into his arms and I kissed him with so much passion that we felt like the only two people in the world.
*2 years later, just as they reach their honeymoon destination*
P.o.v Ellington
Ever since the beginning of our wedding reception earlier today I swear it has been really hard for Ryland and I to keep our hands off each other. I mean after all we went through starting nearly three years ago before we ended up together how could we be able to keep our hands off of each other. On the bright side, at least now we don't have to. As we made our way into the little cottage that we would be staying in on a private beach in grand turk, we could barely keep our hands to ourselves as we made it through the door. Ryland trailed little kisses all up my neck until he reached just under my earlobe. Then he whispered something I have been dying to hear all night. "I want to make love to you" this sending chills down my spine and I could also feel myself getting hard. As if he knew right then, he reached his arm around me from behind and ran his hand down my abs underneath my shirt painfully slow and lightly traced my V line. this causing my breath to hitch. He slowly brought his hand closer to my hard on slowly reaching his hand into my pants, and as he grasped it my breath hitched again. "Ryland... I need you" I whispered. without any further delay, we stripped ourselves and Ryland grabbed a condom putting it on himself. He then lined himself up with my entrance and without any warning he slammed into me. the funny thing is thought that I've heard that it usually hurts, the first time but all I felt was pleasure. Also if you are wondering, I am in fact a virgin... well I was until now... as he was thrusting into me he grabbed my throbbing cock and began pumping in time with his thrusts and after that it wasn't long until we collapsed and fell asleep in each others arms. "I love you Ellington" he said to me. "i love you too Ryland" I replied and in a matter of seconds we fell asleep in each others arms.
p.o.v no one
*One year later*
as it turns out, the first child of Rydel, Riker, and Rocky is biologically Riker's so they decided that if they were to have a second child that it should be biologically Rocky's. Riker's biological child is a beautiful baby girl named Reagan. Now Rydel is pregnant with a second child who not only was discovered to be biologically Rocky's child but the baby is also a boy. As soon as The three of them found out this news they were so happy. As far as Ryland And Ellington go they ended up adopting a 11 year old girl named Ainsley who loves her daddies very much.
