No, there is literally zero excuse for you to call Murderbot anything other than it/its pronouns. There are no excuses. There is no justification.

Any fucking argument you try to use to justify misgendering Murderbot is an argument that has been used to justify misgendering me.

If you think you're literally incapable of calling someone by it/its pronouns even when those are literally the person's pronouns, leave this fucking fandom and don't come back until you can treat nonbinary people with the bare minimum of respect.

If you are so distressed by people going by it/its pronouns, you have no fucking buisness being in a fandom for books where the protagonist and many other character use it/its pronouns.

There is no fucking excuse for misgender Murderbot or any other person who uses it/its pronouns. Murderbot is a fictional character, but you are perpetuating real bigotry when you misgender it.

So I couldn’t find more AUs for this list, I was about to quit looking and yesterday I ran into this one and it gave me so much hope that there might be more out there (part 3?maybe?) I think of this as Ghost Whisperer Clark

Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne, a seemingly irresponsible and eccentric duke, remains largely unconcerned about these atrocities. The Batman, however, has taken special interest, and spends his nights relentlessly hunting the new murderer at large. The paths of these men will converge as the body count begins to rise, and their investigations and growing affections will cement their bond, intertwining their fates with that of the most notorious murderer in all of England.

OKaaaay this is one of the exceptions, Bruce is Batman but it’s a different century and Clark is powerless, I think it compensates. Usually I prefer when they’re both “capeless” but this was such a fun read.

So I want to point out how good this fic is. I hate sad and this story has a lot of grief and I felt it was very grounded on its depictions of feelings. I tend to avoid this type of fics buuuuut this was so good. I couldn’t stop reading even if the grief got to me. It’s very wholesome and does have a satisfying ending.

It wouldn't be something out of the ordinary if it wasn't for the ribs showing and the vibrant green eyes staring back at her. Gently, as to not scare away the risen creature, she kneeled. "Hey there, little guy," she slowly reached out. "Did Ana give you something for me?" ~~~~ Caroline glanced at her, pouting. "How come you don't have a boyfriend, or girlfriend?" She asked innocently; Tyler - who had just taken a sip of his beer - spat it out. The Mikael girl shrugged, taking a sip of her tea. "I guess I am just too stubborn to want to. I'm not dating anyone until I'm eighteen, swore to my brother."
