Disclaimer: I did not read the manga nor watch the anime nor did i know what the plot was when I started watching. why did i start watching u ask? RORONOA ZORO.

I am not lying when I say the sole reason why I watched One Piece was because of Roronoa Zoro and his absolutely gorgeous actor

I like how they handled the production ! Even the most "regular" of settings/scenes already have that kind of animated feel so that when the really animated shit happens it never felt out of place.

1. sexuality headcanon

this can change depending on my mood, but mostly (i hc that) bakugou just uses the blanket queer term. hes not closeted, just doesnt get why its a big deal; its not anybodys business what he is, what he does, or who hes with.

2. otp

dekubaku, obviously! I could ramble on and on about it but basically i love how its a mutual obsession between both of them. they have this silent vow to each other, and its just breathtaking to watch and or read about. i honestly think no ship does it like they do.

3. brotp

platonic kiribaku is fun, but mainly I just like bakugou interacting with the interity of the class, even if sometimes they just. dont. understand him. via: the hospital scene where bakugou is risking his injured ass to go see midoriya and the class misinterprets him as wanting to FIGHT him instead of him being worried about dekus health and safety.

4. notp

honestly i dont have any HARD no's with bakugou. i dont particularly like romantic kiribaku, but its not a "IM GOING TO IMPLODE AND TAKE EVERYONE DOWN WITH ME" hard no. i only ship him with midoriya and thats.. it. lol.

5. first headcannon that pops into my head

he likes midoriyas hands; particularly his scars. i headcanon as deku having bigger hands than kacchan does, because FUCK YOU i like it that way.

6. favorite line from this character

oof. this is HARD. not because i cant pick one but litteraly because my memory is so fucking shitty, and i cant remember any. but any lines that comes out of his gremlin mouth is my favorite.

7. one way in which i relate to this character

that hes hard to love, really, but that despite everything you can learn to be better. and that you can be loved to, even at your worst. i find that aspect of his character really comforting. not that what he did wasnt wrong, but that he can improve and still be loved despite not 100% being there yet.

8. thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character

when his huaghty attitude in his early arcs kicked him in the ass so hard, i had to sheild my eyes away from it because my face got so red from cringing.

9. cinnamon roll or problematic fav?

tbh in fandom terms hed be a problematic fav becsuse not everybody likes him for one reason or another, but to me he is babygirl. and everybody else can fuck off if they want to think otherwise.

ok so i do enjoy asuka guiltygear but i have been thinking REALLY hard about asuka tekken as of late so we're talking about her today

also this took me WAY too long to post i apologize but it Is out here so yaaaay

favorite thing about them:

ok so legally i have to mention asuka's tekken 8 design because motherfucker WHAT were they thinking with that one. what the fuck was the inspiration. but i love it so much i cannot lie

other than that, i really enjoy her rivalry with lili and how moderately insane that bit has gotten, and i like how they've kept her a character who is a) defensively focused in her gameplay even among the generally aggressive play of t8, and b) has a generally down-to-earth feel to her despite. Everything. happening in tekken

least favorite thing about them:

so i was actually talking to a friend about this recently and she explained my feelings really well, its like. asuka feels like the protagonist of another story that isnt being told.

it feels like she has so much stuff that COULD be a really interesting plot focus for her but it just. hasnt been? like everything between her and feng COULD be so neat but its just been sort of...by the wayside for the past few games in favor of keeping up with the mishimas (new sitcom there btw)

favorite line:

asuka's quotes are fun but most arent super noteworthy unfortunately? its mostly pretty standard fare for fighting game open and win quotes unforch :( i will say though, i do really enjoy this win line in t8 from her:

Not sure if I even read the Breaking Point fic. Maybe, maybe not. But I have my own share of fics that "we can fix canon" but make worse.

There one fic I recall (the name slipped from my mind) where ofa somehow shows the class A1 all the abuse Izu endured by BK - it was all thanks to bk and Izu forced team up- and still...people did nothing.

Now think about this premise: ofa shows the abuse and people are just midly concerned.

Why is that? Why make Izu be seen as a victom and get help and support is smth so rare in this fandom?

It is rare see Ochako and his so called friends do stick up for him in fics and not be demonized. Hell, there one where class A1 finds out bk bully Izu(OH MY GOD HE TRIED TO KILL HIM...why fics make them discovery their past as if is a big plot twist?) And proceed to give a taste of his own poison.

And...."this is bad. They shouldnt do this. Poor bk"

You know, some stories talk aboht forgiviness and can be a really touching and well done thing....but those are rare, extremely so. I'm tired of "forgive them bc this is correct" let Izu hold grudges. Let Izu dont forgive bk and be in his right.

A dorama who got this right is The Glory. The mc was horrible abused and got her revenge and in no point people were "forgive them" to mc.

To conclude: this fandom seems to tnink Izu and pain are the OTP when it really isnt nor should be.

Yeah, the fandom can be... Desensitized to this issue so to speak. I think this is for two reasons.

1. So much of Bakugou's behavior is brushed off as a joke. It's easy for people to turn a blind eye to his treatment of Izuku because so much of it is glazed over by cheap laughs.

Honestly I'm pretty sure that's why people think we're so stuck in the suicide baiting in episode 1. Because that's the only moment the series ever really treats Bakugou's behavior as serious as it is. Like, yeah, that was bad, but that's far from the only thing Bakugou's ever done to Izuku. There's attacking him during the Quirk Apprehension Test, hunting him down and seriously injuring him during the Battle Trials, being purposely uncooperative and punching him during the Final Exam, coercing him into a fight after curfew and demanding information that absolutely wasn't his business, throwing his headpiece at him, attempting to forcibly draw Blackwhip out with no consideration of the consequences, etc. Mind you, everything I just listed happened at UA (a few when he was supposed to be "changing"). I would argue that a good number of these things were worse than the suicide baiting.

But they don't register in people's heads the same way because the narrative doesn't treat them the same way. So when fanfiction authors try to write these stories, they're only looking at one aspect of it while turning a blind eye to everything else. They might do a decent job addressing how Bakugou treated Izuku in Aldera, but do a piss poor job of addressing his behavior at UA.

2. Horikoshi doesn't allow Izuku to be looked at as the victim.

This wasn't always the case. We're supposed to feel bad for him in episode one. We're supposed to think that his treatment at Bakugou's hands during the Battle Trials is brutal. He was written to be the sympathetic underdog who's been given a bad hand in life and gets treated like shit because of it.

But that began to change around Deku vs Kacchan Part 2. Hori knew that Izuku had to forgive Bakugou if the viewers were going to. But there was also no way to realistically do this if he actually had a negative response to Bakugou's treatment of him. So he gave us the implication that Izuku wasn't bothered by it at all (which we know isn't true because he was extremely upset when Bakugou said what he said in episode one). He confirms this through All Might of all people, so it has to be true, right?

And most viewers will accept this at face value. Because they're looking for an out for Bakugou. They're looking for a way they can like him while not condoning a bigoted bully.

That's how I see things anyway

Pattern in my OTPs: Sadistic! Top x Fearless! Bottom

Dont mind me, just self-indulging about my OTPs

Anyways!

Recently, I've noticed that I have a certain type when in comes to my OTPs which is a sadistic top paired with a fearless bottom. Granted, not all of my OTPs are of this type but I dont think its an exaggeration when I say that at least 90% of them are like this

GinHiji

Out of all of my OTPs, I'd say GinHiji pretty much embodies my favourite type of OTPs. Gintoki is canonically a Sadist and in fact, is known to be a Do-S alongside Sougo. Contrasting him is the fearless yet tsundere Hijikata. Another reason why I like them is the manzai combi they have. Hijikata is forever exasperated by Gintoki and cant help but be the tsukkomi to Gintoki's boke 🤣

BakuDeku

These 2 have a very complicated relationship but thankfully have improved a lot especially in recent years. Bakugou can be quite sadistic but considering what's happened between them and him canonically wants to do better, I think it'll take awhile for Bakugou to let out that sadistic side of him around Deku

With Deku though, he doesnt mind and I think we all can agree that Deku is a disastrous combination of fearless and reckless 😅

One of my 1st OTPs since high school. Now, I dont think i need to tell anyone who's ever read or watched KHR that Mukuro is hands down quite terrifying and considering his introduction, has a sadistic streak a mile wide

For Tsuna, yeah....while its true that he tend to be more afraid than not but as time went on, it became more apparent that he's grown to be couragous and fearless when it comes to his Famiglia

KamuShin

granted, this is more of a crackship since Kamui and Shinpachi barely interacted but I like how their personalities mesh together. Kamui is another canonically sadistic chara in Gintama, anyone who's ever seen him fight in the Yoshiwara or Silver Soul arc can attest to that. Not to mentioned all of the shenanigans and mayhem he likes to cause with a deranged grin

Shinpachi is noted to be fearless in his own right, capable of accomplishing feats that other normal humans would feel impossible to even try. cant forget that he's also the one who made Utsuro pause before the timeskip

plus, they're also a manzai combi! a Do-S Yato boke with a glasses tsukkomi XD

ParaEmu

initially, i like them as a switch couple but recent years make me lean more of them as a fixed pair with Parad as a top. starting out as a villain, Parad was noted to be quite sadistic especially when he possessed Emu. He's since mellowed out but since we dont see much of how the charas are post-canon, its hard to say if he retained his more sadistic nature. i tend to hc that he does but only lets it out when needed

if anyone knows Emu's not so pleasant childhood and how he's risen to overcome many obstacles in life, then i think we can agree that he's become one of the most fearless charas in Ex-Aid

Wei Wuxian is one of the most fearless charas I've ever had the pleasure to know about. the way he holds onto his morals and convictions even as the whole world turned against him is nothing short of inspiring. born with a smile and a noble heart that's matched by his beloved husband Lan Wangji

while he's not sadistic in the usual sense, Lan Wangji in the novel is known to mercilessly tease his husband especially in :ehem: bed. not to mentioned that when he deems it necessary, this man never hesitates to swiftly cut people down with just a few words right at jugular too

DazuShi

a suicidal former Port Mafia who's known to torture people paired with his steadily fearless were-tiger. i love their dynamic

MiSawa

Miyuki Kazuya is canonically known as twisted by both allies and opponents alike even feared to the point of petrifying the target of his ire with just a glare.

Sawamura Eijun? the fearless sunshine boy who overcome odds that would and have retired many players from the game. the Yips arc was remarkable in showing Eijun's strength and determination

KaiShin

the trickster who can easily manipulate law enforcements and enemies alike. its more noted in the early chapters of the manga, but Kaito was more callous. while thats no longer the case, Kaito is still quite unhinged

Shinichi? well, with all the reckless stunts he's pulled over the past 20+ years, i think fearless is an understatement for this detective

LawLu

the recent addition to my OTP list. LawLu is the one that made me realise that I tend to favour sadistic tops when I was trying to articulate Law's preference in my HC

thats when I realised that Law has a sadistic streak in canon. while its not explored all that much since he's an ally of the Straw Hats, we see hints of it. combined with the fact that he's a nerd, big on plans and control, he's a terrifying force. this is the same guy who cut opened 100 pirate hearts and sent them to the Marines

Luffy? he's fearless as they come. overcoming many hardships and coming out stronger. who fights for freedom and nakama even if it means facing death. hell, its canon that he's not afraid to face death for what he believes in

HIII YEEESSSS, so funny you where the one who got me into it :] looking up rain and seeing your reiko rain stuff and suddenly it was my OTP lmao but yeeessss I DOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! so many

childhood friends since the General brought him in. Reiko as a kid basically attached to Zeffeero like a magnet and Zeffeero became a safe space while he grew up.

they where around like, 18 (or the outworld equivilant) when they first kissed. during some holiday or festival and they left all the crowds to steal some food from the kitchen or something in the palace and it was like a "I wonder what it would be like to kiss." kinda situation

Reiko is a massive softie to zeffeero, and to zeffeero specifically. bro grew up with him bro knows every dumb and embarrassing thing he's done.

vise versa, Reiko still pokes fun at Zeffeero for things hes done when they where kids

Reiko calls Zeffeero "Zeff", if hes upset he'll call him Rain in the most "Fuck you" voice.

Zeffeero fell first but has the ability to tell if he likes someone equal to a goldfish.

Reiko fell second and he couldnt sleep for weeks.

(kinda sad) the last time the two talked before the events of the story, Reiko came to Zeffeero asking for help when polishing his armor. They chatted about the tournament and ended up spending the entire day together. they didnt talk again after that until they ran into each other post story. "why are you following me?" "the general still needs your skill" (not exact quote but yknow)

Zeffeero used to go to Reiko first every time he got injured cause Reiko said he needed to get better at fixing injuries. Zeffeero wanted to help. he ended up with a lot of ugly scars.

Reiko was a troublemaker as a kid, Zeffero had to get him out of a lot of trouble.

the roles switched when they became teenagers. Zeffeeros growing ambition caused him to do stupid things.

Reiko is bisexual, Zeffero is Asexual and Demiromantic.

Zeffeero has a stuffed goldfish (the one mk11 rain gets in his friendship) Reiko called it "Gibby" and the name stuck.

And no i don't play T_T I own MK11 and X but I dont own anything that can run MK1 but the switch (and its not worth $70 for those graphics) that and I'm really bad at fighting games (I like bullet-hell's and platformer's)

I have so many headcannons for them its crazy. I think about them so much :3

mk11 rain is my favorite character in the entire franchise though so im not complaining :3

9. What are their thoughts on having children?

A child of their own? Nah. Kuai has enough maturity to realize that while he is a good teacher, he would not be a good father, both bc of his lifestyle and his lack of experience. Out of the two it'd be Hanzo who'd be more likely to consider children, but he's already been burned once (eh.) and considering how hard it is for him to move on, it'd be years into the relationship before he would see himself raise a child with someone else again, and by that point he and Kuai would be too old. And besides he already has been able to place his paternal projection onto Takeda, so he's good.

17. Who’s more likely to pull the other in by the waist and kiss them passionately?

Hanzo. I see Kuai as someone who is extremely in control of his actions, out of discipline, out of fear, take your pick. I see him as someone who will keep his emotions in check even if it causes him to yearn to death, him doing smth that intense out of passion, while not downright impossible, is very unlikely to me unless its under very extreme and unusual circumstances. Hanzo on the other hand. Hanzo feels. Hanzo acts. If a situation arise where he feels a strong need to pull his lover by the waist and kiss him (most likely in the aftermath of a battle, both covered in blood and surrounded by dead bodies), by god he's going to do it.

51. What’s a non verbal way they say I love you?

Its looking for ways to spend more time together, like one forcing himself to wake up in the early morning to go sit in the gardens next to the other who wanted to hear nature wake up and feel the first rays of sunlight, or the other struggling to stay awake much later than he's used to at night because he does not want the interesting conversation they're having to end. Its making small meaningful gifts to each other as clan leaders that feel so personal to them bc they knew each other as individuals first before as figureheads. Its the small comments that they've managed to redeem their own clan in the other's eyes, and that said clan doesnt bring them pain as it once had because its embodied by the one who lead it and they have nothing but positive things to say about each other.

60. Who pulls the other closer when they’re sleeping?

Both. You get to sleep next to the one (1) person who does not suffer for the unnatural temperature of your body, and you both have potential nightmare-inducing trauma, and you have been denied intimacy for most of your life either bc it was forbidden or bc it was torn from you. I bet theyre both unconsciously clingy.

25. Do they have any hobbies they share?

Sparring is an obvious one. Kazuya said himself that fighting is a huge part of his life and Jun's strength does not come from nowhere, what better way for them to bond than to clash their family's opposite style against each other? As for their personal ones, I dont think Jun would understand sneaker-collecting nor would Kazuya understand bird-watching, but Jun would indulge Kazuya should he chose to open up and share that interest with her, and Kaz definitely does not have the patience for bird-watching but I could see him at the very least see the appeal of forest-bathing, even in a self-interested way.

26. What are their vices?

Kazuya is a pile of vices in a purple snakeskin trenchcoat. Jun's vice is Kazuya. Her choosing to love him and wishing for his wellbeing while knowing fully well he is not a good person who has hurt others (and as of t8, by his own admission in the first chapter, only death will make him stop) is the only thing that stops her from being a perfect, morally correct character. But that does not make her a bad person and that does make the love wrong or any less real.

33. Who’s the better cook?

So you'd THINK that with Jun's infamous cooking skills, I would say Kaz, right? Wrong. I think Kaz never had any reason to cook a single day in his life but still has some rudimentary cooking skills for his own personal gain. They're equally bad but with their abilities combined they'd be able to cook one (1) decent meal.

51. What’s a non verbal way they say I love you?

For Kazuya, it's literally just trying. His world begin and ends with himself, any positive actions he could take for someone else will usually only be done if he get some hidden self-interest out of it. So him doing anything small for someone else, because he find them worthy of being aknowledged (most likely for their strength, bc power is EVERYTHING to him), because he doesnt view it as a weakness to connect them to himself, because he views their happiness as beneficial for him, aka make him happy in return, is the loudest he can be that he loves someone. Like I dont even have to try with this one, that's literally just his t8 ending??? Like he is NOT the type to say "I love you" outloud in the first place but you can just see in his ending that holy shit, he loves Jun, he loves her. For Jun, it's coming back. Jun will try, but she will not return to someone whom she does not love at the cost of her wellbeing, it's literally the lesson she tells Jin: "Your wellbeing is important to those who love you, so for their sake, you have to take care of yourself". So her coming back to someone, her staying with someone, is the biggest proof of love I think you can get from her. And Jun is just as lonely as Kazuya? But its the way they deal with loneliness that make them such a match: Jun is someone who endlessly gives and Kazuya is someone who endlessly takes, but with Kazuya, Jun has something to get if she's staying with him, and with Jun, Kazuya has something to give if he wants her to stay. Ying Yang once again.

Once upon a tiem in the feywild there was a bunch of fried. They had alot of fin otghether `and went on adventures. On one adventure, the friends travelled to the astral planed becaue Minke’s mom was there (actyaly his granmda but we dont hve time to explain that). They found a really nice house there that actually belonged to Figs stepdad (HIS REAL DAD!!! WHO DOESNT HATE HIM OR KILL HIM!!!). They said woaw this is nice and went inside. Inside there was a nice picture and a cool couch and then som armour and stairs. Down the stairs there was a people. The people were parents… TO THE FREINDS!!! An orc man named mugorim was there and he was gifs dad but he tried to STAB HIM sand you know why??? Because he thought he was VAELLUS!!! AND HE WAS JEALOS OF VAELLUS BECAUSE ELIANA IS IN LOVE HIM AND NOT MURGIM!!!

They beat up figd dad and then got a message from… THE PRICNISSS GRRRRR!!! The princess said fig had to STOP BEING VAELLUS WARLOCK AND BE HERS INSTEAD AND FIG SAID YES OH NO!!! Princess alos said that vaellus and eliana were getting MARRIED YAY!!! And fig wanted to go back to be there but the ;rincess said the OOOONLY WAY was to be ber WARLOCK!!!

They got back and the wedding was happening. There wwere flowers everywhere and the air smelled like laundry detergent. So good. Fig saw his mom and vaellus getting married and the princess was doing vows for them but taking WAY TOO LONG BECAUYSE SHE SUCKS. Fig wanted to say hi to hs mom because its hims mom so he did but the princess told his mom fig was dead or something so she FREAKED OUT and got scared. Fig has a little guy friend named reghie and reggie was a bitch ansd sneaky snuck up and bit vaellus ANKEL!!! NOT THE NAKLE!!! So vaellus KICKED his leg and said that he got bit so eliana who is a good lady and wife wanted to get the guy who bit so she punched but she missed and aPUNCHED VAELLYUS NOOOOOOO!!!!!

Then EVEYRONE started fighting because it eaas cRAZZY and the rpicness trapped vaellus in a ground hole in the fgorund and he was stuck in the hole. Fig went to his mom and said hi mom and she said hi fig and mugorin said RAAAR and then the princess punched sevyn and sevyn flew into the skynbut minke turned into a angel (he can dp that trust me i have a good theory about it) and saved him and then aradenn said woah. adraenns mom was dancing but not kn a weird way it ws just a jig. Vaellus got out of the hole because eliana helped hi but the princess got SO MAD so she fell overt from the mad so minke threw an angel laser at her (this is part of my theory keepnup). She exploded into a dust and it was fine.

Then everybody cheered and the wedding kept going nd eliana and vaellus kissed. The spark between them was more electrifying than a flash of lighting in the moonlit sky, burning brighter than the fires of hell (where the princess hung out) and more passionate than anything ever before. Looking into his eyes, Eliana could see her one true soulmate, the most incredible man in the world who would give up life and limb to keep her save and cherished. He was hers and she was his, wholly and undoubtedly. It didn’t mater how manty people were watching them, because their souls were intertwined in a dance of destiny, their threads of fate woven together in an immaculate tapestry of glory.

They did some more kissies and then knicmkanc showed up and said HEY I HATDE KSISING but he was actually just dad because when the princess kept him hostage she said he could never find love and wasnt allowed it so he got jealous easy. Sevyn knew this and gave him the ring of message and said tp get a girfling of bofyriend or someone and he did ans it was he coral king and they are married now. But its more important that elaiana and vaellus are married because they are otp and goals and everything and this fandom is AWFUL to them so i will make them kiss again in this fanfic.

Eliana and vaellus kissed again and it wa sparkling and rainbowful. Fig was so happy and everyone else was there except mugroin cause i dont want him there anymore soforget he was ever there. Someone else was in lov but im not telling you rando al; my duck game ships but mor characters got married that day or a different day i dont know yet i stil have to thingk about it and be comfortable postign abot my shipz onlen.
