Since Jackass 4.5 comes out tomorrow, I have gathered up the crew as Asking Alexandria songs. Sorry if I still suck at blogging, though. I've only been on for a couple weeks. 🤔

Poopies: "A Prophecy" from Stand Up and Scream because the music video depicts someone submerged in water and he's a surfer, so I wanted to connect him to the ocean.

Lyrics that describe Poopies: I should've known the tides were getting higher/ We can still survive/They think we're drowning, but our heads are still above the waves

Rachel: "To the Stage" from Reckless and Relentless because Rachel is a stand-up comedienne and first main female Jackass member. Not even the scorpion Botox from Jackass Forever could turn me away from her attention!

Lyrics that describe Rachel: I know that I should walk away/But I can't bring myself to quit this game

Jasper: "Empire" (featuring Bingx) from Asking Alexandria because he, along with Eric Manaka, brings some racial diversity to the Jackass cast like Rachel joins the boys club. As a rapper-turned-movie star, the rap verses perfectly align with his Odd Future past even if he barely even collaborated on the songs.

Lyrics that describe Jasper: Yeah, and they tell me life is short/In the blink of an eye we come and die

And every day I gotta switch lanes/Fuck race, no pigment/I got thick skin, making big waves/Positive being positive is my legacy

Preston: "All Due Respect" from Like a House on Fire because of his underdog status, Preston deserves the same amount of kindness as his castmates, even during his worst stunts. The oldest of the cast at 52 years old, Preston Lacy doesn't let his age (or his size) slow him down despite knowing his limitations of several stunts.

Lyrics that describe Preston: I've been hearing lots of whispers/Stories sold by a shadow of a memory

Wee Man: "Moving On" from From Death to Destiny because the smallest Jackass member knows how to carry on with what he loves most despite castmate Ryan Dunn's death in 2011. Wee Man even has Dunn's face tattooed on the back of his leg in his honor, much like Preston has Dunn's name inside a heart on his shoulder.

Lyrics that describe Wee Man: His red eyes tearing up at the man he'd became/Slowly but surely on the fast track/To falling into his grave

Steve-O: "Final Episode (Let's Change the Channel)" from Stand Up and Scream because as the most rambunctious of the cast, Steve-O knows how to go from 0 to 100 within seconds of a stunt in all four Jackass films. Unfortunately, all those risks come with high medical bills due to countless injuries sustained during filming. The silver lining, though, is Steve-O's 14-year sobriety as of this writing, thanks to the help of the rest of the Jackass crew. Yeah dude!

Lyrics that describe Steve-O: Blood and ink stain the walls/Silently with bloody knuckles, I carry on/Hoping it's not too wrong

Knoxville: "The Death of Me" from From Death to Destiny because when I watched the Magic Trick from Jackass Forever, I knew something was wrong when the bull hit Knoxville, knocking him unconscious, breaking his ribs, wrist, and neck, and signaling the death knell for the Jackass leader's over-the-top stunts. Health and safety are everyone's top priorities. No wonder Forever could be Knoxville's last Jackass film besides 4.5.

Pontius: "Take Some Time" by Like a House on Fire because as my second favorite Jackass besides Danger Ehren, Pontius gives the audience an eyeful one wiener at a time, especially in the third and fourth Jackass films. However, Pontiusaurus at the beginning of Jackass Forever knows that he can turn nearly everyone on every time he does a stunt. Party Boy and Bunny the Lifeguard take Pontius's overall sexiness up a notch as well since both alter-egos emphasize his somewhat toned build onscreen.

Lyrics that describe Pontius: Hot sweat, love drip, heart beat/Body's shaking I want it to last forever/Lip bite, all night, this might/ Be nirvana all I want is everything so

Dave: "Never Gonna Learn" from See What's on the Inside because the song describes the cast's mistakes they keep making -and the ones they've fixed- over the course of 22 years of Jackass. For example, Dave England takes a shit at least once in every Jackass film, especially the mini bathroom from Number Two, but he keeps slipping up on most other stunts he participates. The electric tap dance taught him a lesson that nobody perfects anything until they've done so countless times.

Lyrics that describe Dave: How many times do I have to learn my lesson/Before I learn my lesson, no/Somebody help me, please tell me that I'm dreaming

I'm trying to change or at least I keep on saying/I'm trying to turn the page on my bullshit

Ehren: "Alone Again" from See What's on the Inside because as my favorite Jackass veteran, Ehren has totally stepped up his game in Jackass Forever from Francis Ngannou punching him in the nuts to being locked alone in a room with a bear. Growing up in a mortuary, the lyrics to "Alone Again" sum up how nobody has that much time to live, so they have to achieve their goals before they die. "Alone in a Room" was my original choice for Ehren's song, but that just described the lie detector test, and I wanted an AA song that meant much more than that.

Lyrics that describe Ehren: I've changed and I'm changing/It's not over, there's still time left/It isn't much, so make the most, I'm getting tired of giving up

Zach: "Fame" from See What's on the Inside because being a newcomer to the Jackass cast means more than just stunts to film, but fans from around the world discover the cast as well. Zach Holmes, aka Zackass, got his start on the Jackass-inspired MTV show Too Stupid to Die, so I thought the second verse related to his pre-Jackass projects.

Lyrics that describe Zach: So you want fame?/Everybody in the world to know your name?/How far will you to outrun your pain?

Well, light me up and watch me fly/I might change my mind a thousand times

Eric: "Where Did It Go?" from Asking Alexandria because Eric Manaka is the only Jackass from outside the United States (he's British), and his only other acting credit is in Action Point along with Johnny Knoxville and Chris Pontius. As the youngest overall Jackass member, just two months older than me, he doesn't do that much in Jackass Forever other than the wall slam and horse race (with Poopies). Like the other three films, Forever may alienate a handful of die-hard Jackass fans with how safe the stunts are, but not Action Point-level boring, though due the pandemic affecting filming.

Lyrics that describe Eric: Just sit the fuck down, pay attention/There's too much noise for a second listen/Where did it go?/Where did it go so wrong?

But now there's this one, the 'I'm a king' one/The 'I don't care, I'm coming to do my thing' one/'Breaking every fucking rule in the book' one

It was bad enough hearing Rafe make a girl moan through your shared wall. It was ten times worse when Rafe texted you “his bad” for the noise.

Followed by an lol. What a douche.

If he’s trying to make you jealous, two can play at that game.

You go to an on-campus bar with friends the following Friday night when you bump into a guy you recognize from one of your lectures. Once you realize he’s hitting on you, his eyes trailing down your cleavage, you feel the exciting twist of arousal deep in your stomach.

You invite him to your dorm. He seems shocked you’re giving him a chance. It makes him even cuter.

Rafe just got home from a night at the frat house when he hears you laughing in the hallway. He figures you’re with a friend or on the phone. Until he hears a male voice under your giggles.

He hears the door shut. Then music. Then… damn it. You’re moaning.

He’d be turned on by the sounds you’re making if it wasn’t for the fact that another man was coaxing them out of you.

You’re on the other side of the wall, body buzzing while he uses his mouth on you. He needs some coaching, but he’s definitely skilled.

You’re exaggerating your moans a little bit, unsure if Rafe can hear. When you hear thudding on the wall, you know he can.

Rafe’s fist is burning as he knocks on the wall, trying to get you to quiet down. He wants to say he’s just annoyed that you’re being loud this late at night, especially after you’re so self-righteous about quiet hours, but he knows jealousy when he feels it.

And this is jealousy.

When you get on top, your moans aren’t as exaggerated anymore. You feel genuine bliss as you ride him, controlling the pace, feeling his hands on your hips.

He’s not a talker at all, so you can’t help but think of the things Rafe says during sex.

Suddenly, the knocking is on your door instead of your wall. You meet your classmate’s eyes and laugh with him, taking a pillow and covering your body with it as you answer the door.

Rafe is standing in the hallway, jaw tight.

“Check your phone,” he says. “I’ve been texting you.”

“I’m… kinda busy,” you laugh.

“Yeah, I can hear,” Rafe mutters. “I think everyone on our floor can.”

“Don’t be jealous,” you tease, hoping he gives it away that he is. When he looks away with a scowl, you’re pretty sure he is.

Rafe can’t take it anymore. He tilts his chin forward, straightening up as much as he can.

“She moans louder when she’s with me!” he half-shouts into your room.

“Rafe,” you scold, nudging his arm. He smirks at you and you shut the door, shaking your head.

After your classmate leaves, you check your phone to see the texts Rafe was talking about.

Rafe: happy for u that ur getting some but chill

Rafe: he cant be THAT good

Rafe: you know i can fuck you better

Rafe: CHILL ur so loud

You laugh at the texts. He definitely can fuck you better. But he doesn’t need to know that.

Hi! I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying my blog. Thank you! I'll try to be brief here: the first thing I would recommend is "Doctor Who". This series allowed him to showcase his acting skills in all their glory. Next, "The Thick of It" and "In the Loop". A wonderful show created by Armando Iannucci, with the mesmerizing Malcolm Tucker, particularly in his moments of anger. The next one is, of course, "The Devil's Hour". Gideon Shepherd is both frightening and appealing at the same time, and I honestly don't get enough of him (I hope the second season can fix that). But every time he appears on screen, he takes the show by storm. I enjoyed the plot and overall style of the series, so it is worth watching. Then we move on to "Criminal Record" and Daniel Hegarty. Peter as a mysterious detective: what could be more intriguing? And, of course, I can't help but mention "The Musketeers". Cardinal Richelieu is hot there so you definitely need to watch it. Of his earlier works, I especially like the film "Soft Top Hard Shoulder", which features his wife as the main character. It's a really cute movie. Good luck! 😊

My life after Void state/law of assumption

Hey everyone,so as you all know I have manifested my dream life a long time ago but these few last days smth amazing happened to me that I never even knew I needed in my life.....I moved in with my boyfriend and I feel even more fulfiled 😍❤️🙌

Plus I realised that I don't want to get a job or study, first of all bc I have manifested coming from a millionaire family so I always have millions with me and second of all bc I don't like testing one thing or working like a "slave" just to say that I am working (cause you know still many People decide to get a job bc they don't want to be labeled as lazy)

Since I learnt about the law my confidence sky rocked and apart from that , when I entered the void and actually saw full "big" results for the first time in my life, everything has been so perfectly perfect since then uggh so I just wanted to make a post about my life,smth like a diary so I can motivate others and also keep it as a sweet memory when I look back on my blog😭😍🙌😚

Life is not too good to be true,its actually too good and it's true !!! Steve, Bucky, and Tony parked their SUVs just down the street from the mansion you were being held at. Their crew consisted of Rhodey, Nat, Clint, Thor, Loki, and fifty other men that worked for them collectively. This was going to be an ambush and Hydra agents were going to be slaughtered. Fury had given Steve and Bucky the green light to do whatever was necessary to get you to safety. They had a small window of time to get in and get out before Fury showed up with the remainder of Shield and the FBI. 

One of their men was set to have the power shut down to the mansion. This would give them the coverage of darkness that they needed to go in guns blazing. Steve’s phone finally dinged with the order to move in from Fury. Quickly the lights went out in the mansion and the ambush descended onto the Hydra home. Hopefully, you weren’t in bad shape when they found you or hell would freeze over.

You stood there, knife in your right hand as the lights went out inside the room you were in. The sounds of footsteps running around and shouting could be heard clearly. This is what would make your fight for your life easier. Remembering all the skills you learned over your life you gripped the knife tighter. The sound of a key unlocking the door to your room seemed louder in your mind. You crouched behind the door waiting for whoever decided to come into the lion's den.

The door was pushed open by a tall, burly man who scanned the room for you. Keeping his back to you, you decided to strike fast like a viper. Quickly you stabbed the man in the neck, blood squirted everywhere as his finger squeezed the trigger causing the gun to go off twice. Your hand let go of the knife and you grabbed the Glock before it could hit you. The man fell dead at your feet and you had his Glock in hand. 

Outside the room, you heard yells from men and gunshots. Whatever was happening you needed to leave now before things got worse for you. Quickly you checked the gun for ammo and had thirteen bullets left. Looking down at the dead body you knelt next to him, pulling the knife out of his neck, and wiped the blood on him. If all else fails, this was your backup. 

Standing up you stalked slowly to the bedroom door, gun raised in defense. The echoes of gunfire continued outside the front door. You poked your head out quickly to see if there was anyone on your floor. Thankfully there was no one to be seen as you made your way to the stairs, back against the wall, you descended one step at a time. 

Halfway down the stairs, you saw a Hydra agent run through the front corridor. Your finger was quick, you shot him twice and he dropped dead. Your feet descended the rest of the stairs just as you saw another agent. You both saw each other simultaneously, guns raised as you hollered at him, “drop your gun now!”

“Not a chance in hell you bitch!” He shouted back with a sneer on his face.

Wrong thing to say to a woman unhinged. You lightly squeezed the trigger and shot him but not before he grazed your shoulder. You yelped in pain from where the bullet grazed you. More yelling and the commotion was growing louder outside as you took a right, heading into the kitchen. Gun still raised, you cleared the kitchen and could see through the window that the fighting in the backyard was slowing down. 

Who in the hell would attack Hydra? 

Behind you there was the sound of a boot on the floor that made you spin around, throwing the knife you had on you at the sound and training the gun on the person sneaking in. Your breath hitched as you came face to face with your blue-eyed and blonde-haired man Steve. The knife was embedded into the wall near his head.

“That was a great throw sweetheart.” He proudly said.

You ran and threw yourself into his arms, he quickly caught you. His familiar scent filled your senses as you nuzzled his neck. “I didn’t think I’d ever see you again.”

Steve smiled into your hair. “I would burn the whole world down just to find you.” You looked up at him and kissed him passionately. In your heart, you knew both men would rain hell on the world to get you back. You pulled away just in time to see Bucky shoot a Hydra agent that was approaching you both.

“Hate to break it up but we have a clearing in the front to leave,” Bucky said, as soft eyes landed on you. “Fury showed up with some of his men and they plan to secure the mansion until the FBI gets here and he wants us gone.”

Steve nodded in agreement, “Let’s get you out of here and get you home.”

Bucky left first while you followed him and Steve followed behind. Gunshots had now ceased and Hydra agent bodies littered the front yard. It was a massacre. As you got closer to the SUVs you spotted Tony standing with Rhodey as they chatted. Tony caught sight of you with Steve and Bucky, and ran towards you, calling your name. You sprinted towards him and you both embraced. 

“Thank God you’re okay kiddo. I was so worried.” Tony spoke softly to you as he hugged you tighter. You squeaked out in pain from where you were injured. Tony pulled away to look you over and saw your arm lightly bleeding. 

“I will be okay.” You looked between Tony, Rhodey, Steve, and Bucky trying to brush off your injury. “Where is Brock? Is he dead?”

“He’s gonna wish he was once we find him.” Bucky blurted out. 

“Brock must have hopped on his boat down by the dock and taken off into the bay. Though our guys grabbed Zemo instead and took him to the barn.” Tony answered, trying to hold back his anger. Your stomach sank at hearing Brock got away but knowing Zemo was captured both scared and made you happy to seek out revenge against him for what he did to you. You knew what the barn was and that no one left alive. 

Steve and Bucky walked you to an SUV where you all made your way back to Tony’s place.

You sat at the kitchen table sipping whiskey from a glass as Dr. Cho patched up your left arm. The bullet as you thought grazed the skin. Once you were patched up you walked into the living room and to a large window that oversaw the barn. They had told you about Rollins going in there and you breathed a sigh of relief knowing that the bastard wasn’t coming back. 

You lost count of how many men went into the barn and the dark part of you didn’t care. Only the wicked go in and that’s where Zemo is now. Tony, Steve, and Bucky went in thirty minutes ago and hadn’t appeared yet. Tony told you to tell them everything Zemo did to you and reluctantly you did. Now you’re nursing a drink because this was going to be a long night. Revenge on Zemo goes beyond you, it also goes to Steve and Bucky. Zemo had tortured them a decade ago and you knew the boys wanted blood. For them and for what he did to you, they would have blood.

Finishing off your whiskey you decided to go to the barn to see your tormentor. Heading out the French doors you were met by one of Tony’s men who was standing guard. 

You nodded at him as you passed by and headed out to the barn. The sound of crickets filled the air on your short walk but that would change as you opened the door. 

Zemo was hanging by metal shackles from the ceiling and was shirtless. His body was littered with fresh cuts from one of the knives Bucky was holding. Tony sat in a chair watching as Steve and Bucky let loose on him. When they heard the door and saw you they stopped.

You looked at the pained face of Zemo and felt pity for the torture these men were causing. That was until Zemo spoke.

“Hello, my kotyonok. I’m so happy to see you again.”

Bile rose from your stomach at hearing the pet name he gave you. But you swore to yourself you wouldn’t let this man get to you. Not now or ever again. You grabbed a knife off the table, approaching Zemo menacingly. Both Bucky and Steve stood back as they watched you spin the knife in your hand.

“You won’t be happy to see me once I cut your balls off and shove them down your throat.” Your hand twirled the knife and you slashed him from neck to belly button. Zemo hissed out in pain but never broke his stare at you. “If I did that to you it would be a quick death and I would rather know you were going to suffer. When you’re being tortured I want you to think of me and the hell you put me through. Think of every time I begged you to stop and you didn’t. Not only will these three men in here torture you but I was told a certain man with the same tastes as you, torture, will be here any minute. You should know him, Lloyd Hansen.”

Zemo paled at the name but refused to beg for mercy. “When you go to sleep tonight little lamb will you dream of me or Brock? I’m so curious to know if I left a lasting impression…”

Your hand moved quickly as you stabbed him in the right shoulder causing him to holler out in pain. “I will never think about you again once I walk out of here. As for Brock, once he is in jail or dead he will never cross my mind again.” Turning on your heel you started to walk out but stopped at the door. “Make him pay, guys. Let him know he fucked with the wrong family.” On that note, you walked out of the barn, and before the doors closed you heard the sound of an electric screwdriver.

The next morning you woke up in bed between Steve and Bucky. There was no telling what time they joined you. You didn’t dare move as you watched both men sleep peacefully, each on their side facing you while you lay on your back. It was nice to finally feel safe again with them. With everything you have been through it was going to take time to heal your mind and body. Something you knew they could help you with over time. 

Bucky’s eyes fluttered open, his soft blue eyes looking into yours as he smiled. “Good morning, doll.”

You smirked at the pet name and rolled onto your side to face him. “Morning Buck.”

“How did you sleep last night?” He inquired, watching you closely as you let out a sigh.

“I slept the best in ages honestly.” You spoke the truth. It had been over a month since you were with them last and that’s when you slept normally. With the trauma you went through with Zemo and Brock, sleep was not something that came easy. 

Bucky ran his hand up and down your arm. “I’m happy you slept. You need all the rest you can get.”

“Speaking of rest, when did you both crawl into bed?” 

“A couple of hours after you. Don’t worry, everything is taken care of and we have things under control.” Bucky reassured you, his hand moved from your arm and caressed your cheek. You couldn’t help but nuzzle into his hand as you placed your hand on his. 

Behind you, you felt warm lips kiss your shoulder. Steve stirred behind you and wrapped an arm around your waist. “Less talking and more sleeping.” You couldn’t help but chuckle as these men did not like early mornings. Your eyes softly closed as you took in the feeling of them. Steve pressed against your back, his arm still holding tight. Your face was inches away from Bucky as he held your hand. This is where you belonged. This was your safe space. The three of you could do anything in this world as long as you were together. The last thought you had before you drifted off to sleep was that hell was going to rain down on Brock.

With Zemo off in an undisclosed location with Lloyd Hansen being tortured to death the only thing left was to locate Brock. This gave you a spring in your step as you dressed and made your way to Tony’s living room. There you found Tony, Rhodey, Thor, Loki, Clint, Nat, Steve, and Bucky all talking business. Tony got up to hug you while the other associates nodded at you as you walked over to sit in between Bucky and Steve.

“Sorry, I’m late. Continue with what you were discussing before I walked in.” You crossed your legs while Thor spoke.

“Our intel has Brock staying in Brooklyn but we don’t have a location. The word in Hydra is that he plans to fly out of New York tonight on a private jet from JFK airport. Rumor is that’s where he flies out of normally.” 

You slightly leaned forward and nodded your head. “You’re correct. His plane will be there. He talked about taking me to the Caribbean where his money is in a bank. When I was taking photos and sending them to you Tony there were accounts listed. I’m sure if you look through them we can find his offshore account and drain it of all the funds. That will get him out of hiding. Hit him where it hurts since the FBI has arrested all of his associates and taken the weapons he was trying to sell.”

Steve smiled proudly at you as he spoke. “I have to say, she is right. Hit him hard in the wallet and he’ll come crawling out of his hiding place.” 

Tony grinned at you and stood up. “Well let me see what I can dig up on my computers.” He excused himself and headed to his office, followed by Rhodey. 

“While Tony is doing that we need to strategize, bring Fury and the FBI into this. I want to see that man rot in prison for the rest of his pathetic life.” You angrily said to everyone in the room. 

“We will make sure that happens, doll.” Bucky put a hand on your knee. 

“We’re with you till the end of the line,” Steve reassured you, his hand grabbing yours. 

You shook your head, your lips curling into a sinister grin. “Well let’s get started.”

I have a question that has less to do with ggdd and more with the projects that they are separately involved in. I can't help but feel that gg's projects, at least the ones I'm aware of as an international fan, are a little blah. Lots of commercials and a small number of dramas that, while entertaining, are probably not doing much to sharpen his acting skills--with the notable exception of "A Dream Like a Dream". I would hate to see him typecast in romantic comedies and costume dramas for the rest of his career. IMHO, to date, dd has undertaken more interesting and varied projects--and I say this in the best possible way, these guys are not competing with each other. Do we know if gg has an agent who works to find notable projects for him? It goes without saying that I would also love to watch and hear a lot more of dd, the singer/performer! TIA!

It’s strange to hear this, because it’s usually DD who gets criticized for not having enough variety because of all the nationalistic/propaganda projects he’s been involved with.

It’s important to remember that GG’s career took an unfortunate year long hiatus and was nearly destroyed during the whole 22/7 fiasco. Who knows what projects were slated for filming that year? We will never know the opportunities he lost back then, or what he might have filmed had none of that ever happened. He’s bounced back incredibly, but ‘lest we forget’.

I would also disagree that his projects are ‘blah’. The Wolf, despite some pretty glaring flaws, was fantastic AFAIAC. Ace Troops has also been quite good - at least, what I’ve seen of it so far. And dare I mention The Untamed and his outstanding performance as WWX? I mean... Anon!! Plus he’s also done some interesting variety shows along the way. If you haven’t watched his season of Our Song, you’re missing out.

A Dream Like a Dream is also a huge achievement for him as an actor, and likely one of the single biggest opportunities for him to stretch his acting skills of his entire career. That project took up a lot of his time last year, both for rehearsals (remember, it’s an *8 hour* play) and touring, which should show how dedicated he is to truly working hard as an actor.

Most other up-and-comers would have gone for lucrative TV drama projects which can be completed in a few months. He dedicated a significant amount of time to a live theatre project that paid next to nothing, but gave him the experience of a lifetime. I don’t know about you, but I prefer that he spends time on a rewarding project like that, than give us more TV dramas in that time, no matter what they are.

GG has made interesting choices in his career, and with the exception of Oath of Love (my review will be finished one day, I swear!), I think they’ve been pretty solid choices given the stages his career has gone through. And some of his upcoming projects definitely look interesting. Don’t be so dismissive of costume dramas. Some of them are amazing.

As for the sort of team he has behind him, despite some problems earlier in his career he has a solid team now and I’m sure he gets all the support he needs. I don’t think anyone knows who is scouting projects for him, but I’m sure he gets a truckload of offers. And while he likely gets good advice from the people around him, he is the one making the final choices.

Anyway, Anon, as a new turtle I’ll forgive you for doubting GG’s choices. He’s had a lot of adversity other artists haven’t had to contend with, and he started out as a graphic designer with very limited performance experience (just some stuff in college). There are not many artists who could bounce back from what happened in 2020, and the fact that he bounced back so spectacularly is a testament to how good he is - both as an actor and as a person.

He’s come a long way, he’s improving all the time (never mind the fact that he's already so good) and I think we have every reason to be excited about where he will take us all next.

Okay soo, there is good/constructive criticism, which I, OF COURSE, welcome them well, I'm always trying to improve in general, but let's say "improve with my tarot reading skills" so it'll resonate more with my blog and the things I mainly do here🙃 I'm always open to receiving good and constructive criticism, obviously if well intentioned. And in MY opinion, nobody should take them too nor remain silent towards it. People literally kill themselves because of the hate and destructive criticism they receive and take into account, and I really don't support it and I really don't think that people should pay attention to such comments. The craziest part is when some people say they were "just joking" but I THINK that jokes shouldn't lead people to death.

I'm very grateful I've blocked not only you but a few other blogs here, and I truly have no regrets with that😊 And yeah, to be honest, block me. Just do it. I'll be very grateful for that action since there will be less people with the same negative mentality as yours surrounding my blog ^^

I literally block everyone who doesn't give me good vibes and energies, and you should too, it's your choice whether to block someone or not, and you must have some good reasons to be doing so. Doyoung laughs in the face of adversity and stays kind to his real followers. (pics from here) Good for him, an example to emulate.

I think what helps Doyoung is not only the experience of going through the attacks in the past and learning from it (the whole circle of it, how it goes and what waits in the end), but also his fundamental beliefs about the nature of people and his belief in himself, in being a good person, his strong morale. He might think he is lacking here and there, but he knows he will turn mountains to be a successful singer, he has no other paths.

So, even if Do gets momentarily hurt or angry because of the attacks and antis, he doesn't internalise it and blame himself. He is bold enough to warn his fans with "something is coming up but believe in me, believe I'm a good person". He also categorises his own fans in this way "(as I'm a good person) my (true) fans can only be good people".

I decided to not anticipate things. I'll just wait patiently for the solo albums to come and pay attention to something else untill then instead. I hope you are right and Do will not try to walk the middle ground and think too much about what fans may want from him. Him approcahing Lucy (a band) and doing the 28 reasons cover were good signs.

When a person steps on a path of bettering oneself (losing weight, learning a skill/language), he/she needs to surround oneself with same minded people. The (miserable) people in one's life will discourage, stand in the way, not believe in the positive outcome, try to drag down to stay on their level. A support group will do the opposite.

Not that I wouldn't do what I do without Doyoung, the drive for change and action needs to come from within yourself, but he and 127 are definitely my support group who help to move in the right direction easier by their example. They are the positive to confront the negative.

Well, the 2024 started OK, I'm sticking to my physical exercises, language learning and looking for field work opportunities for Spring and Summer (and going to a new country, of course, can't stop my migratory habits). And I've kind of decided on a trajectory I need to try to reach my big goals for the upcoming few years. Can't say there are any results yet or I'm in a good financial shape, but I'm trying to beat that proverbial milk into butter and get out of the bucket.

Where I haven't done much progress is my own creative endevours. I sold a few original paintings last year, which is good, and I did drawing exercises, but I'm still in the process of persuading and pushing myself to pick up paints and produce something. Drawing is torture...

As for NCT content. I promised myself to finish all NCT Life-s this year. I always drop them after a few episodes (I completed just a few). They are not very funny, but they do have many moments that help to understand neos better. I should watch more old vlives, like Jaehyun and Yuta cooking, Doyoung with Renjun, etc. I haven't even watched Doyoung's tv-series, haha.... yes, I'm waiting for the right mood... yes, I'm like that...

I don't understand when fans complain there is nothing new from JaeDo or 127. There is a ton of everything. No fan will be able to watch all performances and interviews and fancams and clips from concerts. And one can always re-watch old things. Like this Favorite+Sticker performance. It had good camerawork and outfits.

I just found your blog and am very curious. Are you studying to be a history teacher specifically? History is one of my fav subjects but im worried about making it a career, so I'm going in a different direction. Would love to hear about your background and goals.

Hi! To give you a short answer... Yes, I am studying to be a history teacher.

For a longer and more rambly answer... I did an undergraduate degree in history and a masters in early modern history. I didn't specialise in history with the intention of teaching, I wanted to be an archivist or academic when I was 18! However, I very quickly realised archives are not for me (job wise, I love visiting!) and the academic job market in the UK is dreadful. As much as I love my subject, I need SOME work life balance and job security.

So, I decided to train as a teacher rather than pursuing a PhD. I fully intend to come back in a couple of years and do my PhD, but for now I'm teaching. I'm training as a secondary school (11-18 year olds) history teacher. In the UK prospective teachers commonly undertake a professional qualification called a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). It's a year long course which gives us Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) so we can work in schools as trained teachers, but we have a further 2 years of professional development as Early Career Teachers (ECTs). I'm currently doing the PGCE year - sorry if you know this but I'm not sure where you're from!

As for career goals, I did and still do want to do a PhD in the future, but I don't have many professional goals. I'm not particularly ambitious and I'm not motivated by money. I just want a comfortable, stable job where I can use my degree and talk about history. I also like teaching, I'm good at it 😅 So I'm happy enough - I treat work as a means to live, and I very much want to enjoy life rather than have an 'aspirational' career where I work all the time.

History can be a difficult subject to make into a career outside of teaching, academia, and the heritage sector. It's not one I would recommend people go into wanting to make a lot of money (even as a teacher that's a laughable idea!) However, it's a highly valued subject for other careers - for example, a lot of my history cohort from undergrad are now qualifying as lawyers after doing law conversion. It's a passion subject and gives you some amazing transferable skills to use in a career after you've finished your studies. It is possible to study history and have a good career, but it's also an excellent hobby.

I'm not sure if that has helped? If you have any other questions I'm happy to answer them. I've had a convoluted career path so far, but I do know that I love my subject and would highly recommend pursuing history in some capacity - but whether that's as a career or a hobby is up to you, of course 😊

Hi I love your work!!! You're super talented! I was wondering do you have any advice for someone who's considering starting a writing/dark content blog? Especially someone who's very new to this whole writing thing and um super self-conscious 😅 how do you break through the insecurity and negative self-talk to post something? Do I just make a blog and start writing or are there other tricks of the trade I need to know to put my work out there? Any advice is super appreciated 😊

I think one thing I did before I took the plunge and started my own writing blog was, well I was already writing fanfiction for myself and in my free time, and what I would do was send in prompts and ideas to writing blogs and stuff like that? And when it seemed like people likes those ideas, I eventually thought "why not just post them outright and start creating a following/little area for myself?"

One thing you have to tell yourself with dark content is, the most important thing is that you tag your stuff. People will always have their ethical and moral inclinations and you can't force other people to do or think whatever but it IS in your power to just say "hey make sure to read the tags, if there's something here that upsets you, stay away" although if you want me to be blunt there are still plenty of people who deliberately interact with media that upsets rhem and will blame you for creating it, rather than accept that they chose to read it, and that's something you kind of have to get a thick skin over. For example with me writing noncon the biggest objection is that it's immoral or whatever, but a lot of people consuming this content either have that fetish or are even survivors themselves. People have their preferences and kinks and fetishes and my opinion is as long as you are not literally harming someone without their consent, you're basically fine.

Like for real, that's why ao3 and most sites have content warnings. Even watching body cam footage on YouTube will often you a "this is graphic, do you wish to proceed?". Every single person who uses the internet needs to be responsible for their own safety and as long as you at least tag your stuff it gives them that option. It is generally not a good idea to not tag things and try and blindside people, although on ao3 the "author chose not to use warnings" is actually an umbrella meaning "go in at your own risk" because some tags can be spoilers and such idk, at least that's the reasoning I used for not tagging Doubt on ao3.

Kind of one aspect of breaking through the insecurity is, posting content in of itself? Because when you start receiving feedback and support, that's encouragement to keep going! Although be careful not to fall into the trap where you feel obligated to please people and give them what THEY want over what YOU want, since you're the one taking time to create content for free and that's your work, your time, your mental energy. Seriously there were a lot of times I considered dropping The Storm before I eventually decided, no, this is something I do want to finish for myself

I guess the last thing I would say is, things are just naturally hits and misses, or it's posted at a time where not a lot of people see it, or sometimes it's just that like, you didn't have a huge following and when you go back to something later, people like it just as much as your newer stuff? And there's also whatever personal growth you'll be making as an author, whatever improvements and new skills or different t writing styles you adapt

And I guess the final and objectively most important form of advice is to never give too much personally identifying information about yourself, just for internet safety and also because dark content can contain topics people get EXTREMELY heated over. Your name and age maybe, but try not to give much more. Never hook anything to anything personal like Facebook or reveal your full name or things like that, never connect anything to things your family may see. Like not that im blaming her by any means but the first thing that comes to mind is when kazooli gave out her Instagram I think it was and a bunch of freaks started harassing her little sister. Like. People are in fact malicious enough that they'll say "ugh you're such a freak, im gonna find your family and tell them everything you've done" which is, child mentality but whatever

All in all, don't be discouraged if you don't have immediate success, and don't quit if you have any pushback although you are entitled to take mental health breaks and deep back when things are bugging you. Hell, I've been staying in my own lane this whole time and I still have the occasional "controversy". Sometimes you just gotta say "hah, internet", shrug your shoulders, and go back to your life :) good luck and hope you have fun! That's the most important thing.

Oh also I dunno if you'd consider this a trick but in my fics and on my ao3 I also sometimes include "hey you can also find me on my tumblr at xyz" or having your writing tumblr say in your bio what your ao3 is. But also try and keep a separate blog for your writing maybe as it can just be easier and more simple especially for any friends you have that might not always be comfortable. And in reverse, if I reblogged a bunch of non-writing related stuff here, it would be harder to find my works and more annoying for people looking for that stuff specifically

Anyways I think that's the gist of the advice I have to give :) you do you, and make sure to have fun!
