Eli is Canadian?!?

It's never outright canonically stated, BUT Slugterra IS a Canadian show, AND Eli's va, Sam Vincent, is Canadian.

The script has Canadian lingo in there, easiest example of this is Eli calling his slugs "bud". Oh! In ROTE, one of Will's security questions mentions a cabin they used to go to, Canadians are notorious for going to their cabins for vacation!

(Do you know how many of my classmates went to cabins? I was so jealous lol I want to go to a cabin)

Sooo it's 99% likely he is Canadian. Aaaand I'm Canadian and I'm biased soooo, Eli's Canadian for me lol (there's rarely any Canadian mc imo lemme have this 😭)

I like to think he's from the GTA area, from Hispanic heritage.

It's why I included hockey and lacrosse in my poll yesterday, Eli is Canadian, and no one can tell me otherwise 😤😤😤

Since My Babysitter’s A Vampire never got any more seasons after season 2 and so we never got to see what all other things Ethan could eventually do with his seer powers as they grow and mature. I thought I’d share with you all what other abilities I think Ethan would’ve been able to do as his powers matured even more throughout the show, if had gotten more seasons.

seeing and reading auras

dream walking or at least being able to enter someone’s mind while their sleeping and enter their dream through touch (kinda like how he can already enter their minds when they’re awake)

locating people by focusing on an item that belongs to the person he’s looking for until he gets a vision off it that will show him clues to where they currently are

being able to sense danger or other supernatural presences that are nearby

being able to sense strong emotions (whether while he’s in someone’s mind or is just standing next to them in the real world)

maybe telepathy

maybe telekinesis

can control what he wants to see in a vision (like their past or future, based on what he wants to know), if he’s trying to get a vision from a person

can probably see and communicate with ghosts/spirits much easier than before without needing a vision to trigger their appearance to him first

Uh... that’s about all I think of at the moment. If any wants to add to this, then be my guest! I’d love to know what you all think Ethan might have been able to do as a seer if the show had gotten more season! 😄😊

Eli Headcanon - Rain

He just loves the rain and he misses it so much when he's in Slugterra.

But then, a few days after the whole Twist incident happens, Eli suddenly remembers Pronto packing an umbrella for the mission.

An umbrella? But it doesn't rain in Slugterra.

So he asks Pronto about it.

"Why do you have an umbrella?"

"Pronto always carries one in case of unexpected waterfalls and slug migrations."

"Oh... Wait, slug migrations?"

"Oh yes, Tazerlings, Aquabeaks, Flaringos, and Tormatos migrate together every few years. If there's enough of them, they make this weird puffy... cotton ball, and then water falls!! Pronto has gotten wet too many times because of them! That is why Pronto carries an umbrella."

"Rain..."

"But it's nothing compared to Downpour Cavern! Water falls from the Caverns ceiling ALL the time!! Pronto doesn't know how its residents just live there as if nothing happens!!"

"How does the rain—water fall??"

"Some is from the stalagmites, but it's mostly the annoying amount of fire and water slugs that live there! Pronto hates the humidity!"

And so Eli going to Downpour Cavern and just absolutely loving the fact that in one way or another, it rains in Slugterra...

Was sitting in my room last night...thinking of MBAV, of course. And suddenly something hit me! Well, more like two things, but the second one will have to be in a separate post since it’ll be super long.

Anyway, in ‘Siren Song’ they never give any background to Serena or why she’s even there at Whitechapel High, anyway. Like, yeah, I know she’s there to make others “feel her pain” and all. But like... what exactly IS this so-called pain of hers that she wants everyone to feel, as well? Did something really tragic and bad happen to her? And if so, did it happen at the school or something?

And if not, then why did she even come to Whitechapel High for anyway, out of all the other possible high schools she could’ve went to? It’s as if she just randomly decided to show up one day to wreak havoc at the school before she’s satisfied and then just moves on to the next school/town.

And did she even have any parents to begin with? Surely, she did or else how would she have gotten enrolled to go to school there? And after her defeat by the gang (or rather, them killing her), wouldn’t her parents begin to wonder where their daughter is at after not seeing for so long? Or the school for that matter! Lol! And if she didn’t have any parents, then surely a legal guardian or something? I mean, I’m sure teenagers can’t enroll themselves into high school without a parent or legal guardian. Unless they’re legally emancipated to be able to make their own kind of important decisions like that without legally needing someone who’s 18 years old or older, that is.

Also, (and could be wrong here) I thought the singing of sirens made people drawn to them by putting them in a trans-like state of mind, leading their victims to their own demise. Typically, either by crashing their boats on rocks and watching them all drown to death or die from their injuries after hitting the rocks pretty badly, or maybe even just drowning them themselves. NOT make them just want to fight each other! I mean, I get that Whitechapel is a town that’s not by any kind of massive body of water (like a huge lake or the sea), so that meant their song couldn’t draw in their victims and cause them to crash their boats on some rocks. But still though! It’s like they just wanted to have the gang to face off against a siren, but had no real idea as to what her backstory would be, though. They just lazily threw her in and called it good. I don’t get it! Like, does making them want to beat each other to a pulp just make her feel good emotionally or does she like... feed off their anger and rage (or just the chaos even), is all?

Anyway, that was my little rant (or whatever) about the episode “Siren Song”. At least, about the villain in it, that is. Lol! 😜
