first of all, picking such a cute stage name while being a legendary rapper in a group where the concept is 'badass'... iconic.

and not only is his name cute but he's fucking cute. and he thrives off of it. basically the king of aegyo. we know this. and when he does it, it's not even cringe at all. he's just cute. which makes him fucking good at it.

he's got phenomenal vocals on top of being the main rapper. him and changkyun bounce off of each other so well, their chemistry on stage is unmatched.

Most annoying NMJ or JC take is when someone that dislikes them is like "oh you're a fan of him? *scoff* Well obviously you've only seen cql, where he was super watered down. In the novel he's a dislikable asshole and that's the objectively superior canon I'm working from instead of your woobified fanfic." Meanwhile your main canon is novel canon and you genuinely find novel Jiang Cheng and Nie Mingjue complex sympathetic characters.

on one hand yeah this is the kitty cat book fandom where at least 95% of the people here are just here to draw funny cats or for nostalgia reasons and it's really not that deep, there is nothing wrong with taking a critical backseat on this one. but on the other, the amount of people in the fandom who seem to genuinely believe that children's literature and xenofiction are both somehow inherently unworthy of any form of criticism whatsoever, to the point where random tumblr posts casually identifying shit like.... themes.... and narrative trends... is looking into things way too deeply and makes you a bad or stupid person in some way because "they're just cats", gives the literature student in me such a headache

Can we as a fandom please agree to stop giving dyersfilms on twitter any more attention?

Outright we know she hates Will, byler, and byler shippers and said that she won’t be posting anything to do with them, so right off the bat she’s incredibly biased. Furthermore, all of her “leaks” are extremely contradictory this time around, and are suspiciously reactionary to whatever other leaks are floating around at any given time. As @will80sbyers said, it’s very interesting how she apparently had no mlvn leaks for ages, but suddenly was saying she has had one for a while that she can’t share once something byler-positive started going around (rejectedscooper’s “leaks,” which are also unreliable but I won’t go into that one here).

She did have an actual source for s4, but stated she doesn’t have one this time around. Even in the s4 days she posted a lot of untrue leaks amongst the real ones, and often misinterpreted things to support her own hopes for the show (like she literally said that Steve was going to join the military in s4 😭).

And the final nail in the coffin, she’s admitted to lying in order to get a reaction out of people, and seeing as we’re the shipping group she doesn’t like I don’t know why we would give her that sort of attention.

Tl;Dr : Dyersfilms hates byler, doesn’t have a source for s5, is known to misinterpret real leaks and post fake ones, admits to lying to get reactions out of people, and even contradicts herself. I wouldn’t stake too much in her leaks.

Extremely conflicted every time I see a response to the mistreatment of Wyll along the lines of "omg I didn't know this!?!"

Because like, I'm not about to scope out every blog that says this. I'm not about to see how deep they are in the game or if they're an outsider voicing support. However, one can assume if they're talking about BG3 related issues, they probably play and/or enjoy the game.

So seeing support and mutual anger is good! I'm glad you're now aware of these issues, hopefully you'll continue that awareness and continue to offer support! However.....

Why do so many of you have 0 knowledge of ANY of this? These issues become clear upon interacting with Wyll in any capacity. From just general approval, to romancing him, to playing his origin, all of this is obvious. Even more so when you interact with others along with Wyll. So for so many to have no idea about any of this, you have to have not interacted with Wyll at ALL.

For as important as Wyll should be to the story and game objective, you can easily play the entirety of it without Wyll. You have to be interested in him and be willing to initiate his story. Which means a majority of you just...haven't.

A majority of you have had no interest in the only black companion. You've had no desire to learn more about him, or have him in your party. While you can play without him, he is still vital to the story and you miss out on a lot by bypassing him. Yet many of you have been perfectly cool with that because of superficial reasons that are just excuses to be uncaring of a black protagonist.

Astarion doesn't matter to the story. Full stop. His story and quest is practically self contained and has nothing to do with the main objective. You lose nothing by not having him in your party. Yet so many of you have sought him out. Many of you have done little but interact with him alone. Many of you bought the game not because it appealed to you, but because Astarion was there. This shitty white dude with nothing to add to the game got you to spend money, but you're surprised to learn the single black protagonist has gotten fucked over?

I need all of you to be fucking for real with yourself. Think of something and someone besides yourself and consider why awful white men are the only people you're ever drawn towards.

the album reference for inupi is neozone (n ver.). i changed the yellow into a warmer tone that’s closer to toman’s golden yellow.

i switched the nct 127 emblem into a shape that resembles a basketball bc inupi’s special skill is ball games. i also changed it to the 1st album (instead of 2nd album) to reference his top spot as my most liked post last year.

the member i used for reference for inupi and koko is lee taeyong bc ‘yong’ in korean means ‘dragon’ and both inupi and koko are part of black dragons. inupi’s drip is taeyong’s drip in nct 127’s single ‘kick it’ from the neozone album.

the album reference for koko is sticker (sticker ver.). i also changed the album order from 3rd album to 2nd album to reference him being second to inupi as the most liked post here on tumblr. i picked sticker for koko bc bro rly stuck w inupi through thick and thin. like a stickaaa stickaaa *insert whistle tones* lmao

the numbers in the barcode are the number of likes he got from each platform—215 upvotes from reddit, 269 likes from tiktok, 577 likes on tumblr, 2.2k likes on twitter/x, a total of 3261 likes.

the reference for kakucho is jung jaehyun in ‘fact check’; his drip kinda resembles kaku’s tenjiku’s uniform, the pants specifically.
