Pretty sure it's Dustin or will yelling Steve to run, but it could also be Jonathan.

Hi! I absolutely agree with what you say in your reblog of that video! And since English is not my first language I wanted to ask, do you think that during the second recording when Will (presumably) says “to run”, “need to” is said in a deep voice that literally sounds like Vecna. Even on first listen, this kind of bass effect seemed strange to me and reminded too much of Vecna's voice. And now I could swear I hear the word “you” starting in Will’s voice, then “need to” in Vecna’s voice, and then again dramatically changing into Will’s voice saying “to run”. And I also think that where the author of the original post with that video has questions right before "do you hear me", I think that Will starts to say "do you" but his voice breaks off before he can say the whole sentence. Of course I'm just speculating and we may be wrong, but I was just interested to know what you think

And yes you’re absolutely right, I did also hear that deep voice and I think it was Vecna. Even the rest of the voices (director, Will) sound kinda weird tbh, but I figured it was partially because of the method of sound recording in this footage. But to be frank I’m no expert in production, so it may very well be something entirely different.

Now, what I don’t really understand is why exactly would Vecna be repeating his exact words (“need to run” or whatever it is, I can’t remember it properly). I definitely found the entire sound recording exceedingly weird (but definitely interesting and powerful) and I bet it’s going to be an incredibly stressful, upsetting, frightening, etc etc and even disgusting scene— taking into account that by the end we seem to start hearing a disturbing and loud kind of buzzzzzz almost like a fly or other insect??? 🪰 (Did anyone else notice this???) And we know there were those fucking nasty and scary “demo-ants” 🐜 around, according to the written description of the leak, so maybe it does have something to do with that… 🤢 ewwwww….. that’s gonna fuck with me I just know it.

Yes I also thought about the possibility that Will’s voice seems to kinda be overlapping Vecna’s voice? Why and how on earth would that happen? 🫥 Some people were saying maybe he was getting possessed, fuck I just know I’m gonna be shitting my pants. 😂

I don’t know, everything is just so so weird about this leak. I haven’t yet thought this through properly, but I’m sure that more capable and methodical analysts will soon come up with more cohesive theories.

One of the biggest questions in my mind right now actually has to to with the described demo-ants. Apparently there’s a whole DnD creature that matches the leak’s description, I’ve seen pictures of it and it’s creepy as fuck. I’m very very curious to know what the hell that’s all about and why they would include it?? There has to be a reason/ meaning/ symbology within the story that justifies it.

Stranger Things 5 spoiler!

So we can definitely hear a voice screaming for Steve to run. Question is, who's voice is it? I can identify 2 voices, either it is Will's either it is Dustin's.

Dustin's voice could be possible because he's close to Steve and also because the last word "RUN!!!" with this voice reminds me a lot of Gaten's. And Dustin screams a lot. And he has a sharp voice, so it is probably him.

It could also be Will's voice, even though it isn't too similar. Maybe it's because they filmed too far away, but it could be his. But it might be a little weird since Will and Steve never really interacted together. But this season might change it all, who knows? Maybe, since Steve knows about Robin being Queer, maybe he and Will are going to be closer to each other and he could realize that he is Queer too.

Also, if Jonathan dies like I said in my theories, it'd make more sense since Jonathan is for now the only one that knows about his brother's sexuality.

Or maybe, we will finally have the Stonathan duo! I really wish they can be good friends. So it could be also Jonathan's voice, even though it looks more like Dustin's

In the second recording we can hear a director ask for Vecna, probably, to grab someone's throat. Either it is Steve's or someone else's. But this time, the "RUN!!" doesn't look like Dustin's voice, it's more Jonathan's. It's all ambiguous but the only thing I hope isn't going to happen is Steve's death.

By the way, Joe Keery said that "Good things are going to happen to Steve", did my man lied? Or is that part of the good things ;-;

Regarding the audio and someone supposedly yelling at Steve, I wasn’t really hearing his name clearly myself, maybe a bit faint the second time around. However, I messaged the girl who was there on Thursday about it and she told me that she’s sure they’re screaming Steve’s name, because she actually listened to the scene 5 times (they did 5 takes). She said the audio clip doesn’t do it justice but that she’s sure it was Steve’s name.

After scrolling through the latest leak analysis for like half an hour, I came across the fact that the scene is actually a group action scene, apparently it was confirmed by the person who recorded it.

Something which is new to me is the involvement of Hopper, a lot of people are saying that they heard Hopper/David's voice too, and when I listened to it after keeping that in mind, that makes sense actually, in some places I can hear him.

But the new theory I've got after knowing it's a group scene is that, remember how we got a pre vis, most likely last year of Dustin, Jonathan, Nancy and presumably Steve at McCookie farm/ McCookie farm Upside Down? They were screaming, and it seemed like they were somehow dragged into the upside down. So what I'm guessing is that the group includes Jonathan, Steve, Dustin, Nancy and maybe Hopper, although it could be unlikely because the pre vis was probably of the earlier episodes but still nothing is confirmed.

And if it actually does happen, that raises one more question which is, where is Nancy? We know Nancy Wheeler, she's not the type to just sit around or be scared and hide when danger comes in, she's always there to save her friends, and if that's Steve or Jonathan, there's no question about it, she's gonna fight and scream and yell at the monsters if those try to hurt any of her friends, but we can't hear her there, what if she's already dead by then? My apologies, that statement just made me wanna throw up, maybe she gets dragged somewhere scarier, but on a serious note, no actually there's a possibility, because in the previous seasons, she always directly gets linked to danger and in the latest season since vecna showed her the prophecy, so she'll try to rescue them more than ever even if it costs her her life, and though weak at the core, still the theory gets slightly stronger by that gut wrenching, heart clenching horrified scream, which implies how terrifying and haunted the situation is.
