Regarding the audio and someone supposedly yelling at Steve, I wasn’t really hearing his name clearly myself, maybe a bit faint the second time around. However, I messaged the girl who was there on Thursday about it and she told me that she’s sure they’re screaming Steve’s name, because she actually listened to the scene 5 times (they did 5 takes). She said the audio clip doesn’t do it justice but that she’s sure it was Steve’s name.

CLARIFICATION ABOUT THOSE LEAKED AUDIOS

Alright I’m making this post because I’m seeing SO much misinformation around it’s driving me crazy 😭

So on Thursday of this week there was a fan who was able to get close to the radio tower set and hear some of what was being filmed. I specifically dm’ed this person and they told me it was an action group scene.

Before the audios even came out, she had told me that she thought the person screaming at (supposedly) Steve was either Dustin or Will, but that she wasn’t sure because she couldn’t really see anything.

Then those audios were posted today, and as you can see, people have different opinions about who they think is screaming lol…

Majority of people seem to be hearing Jonathan or Dustin (I personally think these are the likeliest choices), others are hearing Will, others are hearing Lucas or even Murray.

I do want to say that I’m not 100% able to hear them mentioning Steve, but I guess that maybe it was more clear in person.

Now for what I think could be happening. I believe, based on the info we have now, we have two options here:

1. Steve was doing some sort of mission at the radio tower and at some point he’s in danger because there’s a demogorgon/UD creature/Vecna (I don’t think it’s military but who knows 🤷‍♀️) and Dustin/Jonathan are yelling at him to warn him. Based on the sound, it seems like he potentially might’ve not ran fast enough. Now I don’t know if Steve is gonna be bones but he could get hurt.

2. This theory hurts more but I think it’s also possible that Steve is not the one in danger but rather it’s either Dustin or Jonathan that are in terrible danger and whoever it is is yelling at Steve to run and save himself. Then the scream you hear is either Dustin or Jonathan (if it’s them) potentially getting hurt.

So that’s pretty much all we know, but also nothing is really confirmed.

A BREAKDOWN OF THE POTENTIAL S5 EPISODE TITLES!!

Okay, so today entertainment journalist Jeff Sneider shared some alleged insider info about S5 of ST, mainly directors and titles of the first 6 episodes.

Here’s a screenshot

It’s important to keep in mind that this guy isn’t always the most reliable, and considering he also said he believes S5 could come out before the end of this year, let’s not take any of this too seriously. (Many cast members have mentioned they’re filming until December of this year so that’s literally impossible). The information about the possible directors I believe is correct, because it’s been circulating around from other sources too.

The episode titles I’m less convinced about because it’s also possible the Duffers could’ve put out fake episode titles in case they leaked. I remember for S2 all the episodes titles they announced were changed later on lol. But for the sake of fun, here’s an analysis of all of them:

1. The crawl (only confirmed title) is a very broad, open title. It personally makes me think of the UD and vines, or maybe even the idea of Vecna crawling back to life. Could also be an allusion to the military.

2. The Vanishing of ___ Wheeler is arguably the most insane one. The journalist said he wasn’t revealing the actual name of the person because it’s a spoiler ofc. My gut tells me it’s gonna be Holly, mainly because of the recast and her supposedly being involved in the hospital plot, which we have guessed takes place in episode 2. Could explain why she’s suddenly “more important” this season, especially if she’s used as a plot device of sorts. Could also tie into what Ted’s actor said in a podcast back in February about the first episodes being a rollercoaster of emotions, and that comment he made about Ted having a soft spot for Holly. It would be a perfect tie in for Karen to find out about the UD as well. The implications of naming the episode the same as the first episode, which is so intrinsically tied to Will, is very interesting. It’s also a new connection/tie between the Byers/Wheelers that I assume will bring the families closer together. I don’t think it’s about Mike because I doubt he’ll go missing in ep.2, or be dragged to the UD just like Will was. It would be an interesting concept but I doubt it. I also don’t think Nancy’s gonna go missing. Karen could be interesting but I doubt it as well. Ted would be an incredibly funny choice. Imagine he just goes missing while at the house 😭 Nonetheless, I think Holly is the clear choice here, and I do very much worry for her if she goes missing. Mainly because while Will survived this, I’m not sure they’ll do the same for Holly :(

It also ties into Vecna’s threat to Nancy against her and her family.

I think this could be the very same scene Holly goes missing.

3. Turbow Trap 😭 This one is utter nonsense. I have no idea what a Turbow is, so I assume it’s gonna be a code or nickname for something. Absolutely clueless here.

4. Sorcerer is incredibly interesting, and imo a clear allusion to Will. His D&D character being a cleric, basically a wizard. Could also be a reference to Vecna imo. Or both 😉

5. Shock Jock is clearly tied to the radio station plotline. Imo the title could be a reference to Steve, Jonathan, or even Murray (he fits that eccentric, somewhat annoying personality quite well) In case you guys don’t know a shock jock is like a very eccentric radio host.

6. Escape from Camazotz is another crazy title. He’s a figure from Mayan mythology who’s a bat spirit. That immediately makes me think of Eddie, but also Steve ofc. However, camazotz has a larger meaning that goes beyond “bat spirit”, it’s also a representation of death and night. So the title seems to be alluding to someone escaping from death or a perilous situation.

Even more interesting perhaps is that kamazotz is a name of a planet in A Wrinkle Time. It’s the planet where IT resides, the mind controlling antagonist of the narrative. So I guess in this comparison Kamazotz is the UD, and IT is Henry.

Guys the reason they recasted Holly is because she clearly has a more prominent role this season and they need someone who can act and probably deliver more than 2/3 lines. The twins that played her are now doing competitive cheerleading so it doesn’t seem like they act anymore, so there’s that .

Remember that this season is contained to Hawkins so it’s possible they’ll flesh out some of those og characters we still don’t know much about. Like Holly, Ted, even Mr. Clarke.

There’s also been a few leaks around saying Holly is targeted by Vecna/something bad happens to her…I don’t think they Duffers would be cruel enough to kill a child but clearly there’s plot stuff going on with her this season.

ABOUT THE NEW PICTURES!

Some new pics from set got released today, and although it’s nothing too exciting, I think it’s worth pointing some things out.

Why so many goddamn bikes? Is everyone in Hawkins riding bikes? 😭 We don’t even have this many main characters lol

I’ve already seen people making jokes about this and the “3 waterfalls”, but in case people believe an ai lip reading in which Mike supposedly utters the words “you gotta improve your motivation”, according to that lip reading they were talking about leaving Hawkins (the local village lol) and finding a place with 3 waterfalls. As you can see, this is a map of Hawkins. So it doesn’t even fit the Mlvn ai lip reading nonsense.

And last we have this pic of little Mike. This is the most interesting thing they shared imo. This picture we’ve already seen in the show before, it was on the Wheelers’ picture mantle in S1, if I’m not mistaken.

Here they’ve placed it on top of two vinyl records. Was it arranged like this just for the picture? If so, what are the implications or what are they trying to hint at?

1. Music will be important for Mike next season because he will be targeted by Vecna.

2. The two records are Treasure Island and Swiss Family Robinson. Originally, these are novels. Both of them feature characters ending up in deserted islands, and they both also feature a character that ends up going back to civilization/society at the end of the journey. Jim in Treasure Island, and Ernest in Swiss Family Robinson.

Here’s a description of both those characters.

They do kinda sound like Mike don’t they? It’s worth noting that Ernest is the second child and he has an older brother (sibling) who’s an excellent shot. I mean…Ernest also abandons/leaves his family at the end of the story.

3. The Swiss Family Robinson inclusion could also be hinting at something else, and imo this is the most likely thing. A couple of months ago, someone leaked that the Wheelers’ house gets completely overtaken by the UD, and the Wheelers’ basically become homeless (I think they end up at the farm). This leaker mentioned the scene was an action packed scene that also featured some members of the party being there, and that it was also Karen’s first real encounter with the UD. Out of all the leaks we’ve gotten, I always believed this person because from little tidbits we’ve seen their leaks are the only ones that seem to match up. Now what is the main plot of the Swiss Family?

A family being shipwrecked and basically becoming homeless.

If I had to put my money on these clues meaning anything, I would say this is the most likely.

Although perhaps we’re looking too much into it and the picture is a hint to us getting a younger Mike flashback? After all, those two records were probably from when he was a kid.

So many possibilities.

About Dyersfilm’s “leak”

For all of you who don’t know, dyersfilm is an insufferable individual who used to go by the name of swiftlynatalia. She is racist, homophobic, transphobic, and even made fun of her supposed favorite actress’ eating disorder. However, people on Twitter (especially mlvns) entertain her because she had reliable sources during the filming of S4, and after during post production. She had some true leaks, many being the same that Reddit got right, while others only she had. She was also wrong about quite a few things, but generally she was reliable.

It is worth noting though that she is extremely biased against byler (many of the leaks she got wrong for S4 were pertaining their storyline) and absolutely hates the ship.

This time around, she was getting some leaks during the first couple of months of filming to her curious cat, but she herself claimed that these were not reliable leaks whatsoever and that she was pissed because this time she doesn’t have access to the real sources she had for S4. She has complained about this repeatedly for these past few months. The leaks she has gotten tho, many she has mocked and made fun of because they don’t align with what she wants from the show. She also made a “disclaimer” when the show started filming again that she would not be posting leaks about Byler because she hates us all, and yet every single one of those most likely fake leaks she got she posted, and many of them talked about Byler. She would post them and mock them for “clearly being untrue”. She has barely gotten a single Mlvn positive leak this whole time, and when she’s gotten at least something that alludes to them having scenes together she immediately ran to post it and alert all her friends, even tho she herself knows all of these are most likely fake.

For weeks now, her curious cat has been dry af because I guess nda’s are stronger this time, or no one wants to leak shit to her (she’s rude as hell). she posted the following ask 10 days ago. Someone asked her if she knew about any Mike and El scenes and she said no. Keep this in mind for what’s coming next…

Then suddenly yesterday, she alluded to a Jonathan spoiler she’s supposedly pissed about, but refused to post it like she’s done for everything else. People quickly thought it might involve Byler because she said she wasn’t going to post “leaks” about it, even though she had already lol. So they asked her and she said that “yes, it has to do with Byler.”

Then shortly after this someone asked about Mlvn again, this was just today. Again, note how she proceeds to say she knows nothing about Mlvn 😭

Bylers on Twitter noticed her answers about Mlvn and her comment about a supposed byler leak involving Jonathan and started speculating. She ofc noticed this, and not even after an hour of her saying she knows nothing about Mlvn she goes on to say this.

….

She knows nothing but somehow she knows Mlvn is stable? The bipolar disorder of these answers could rival my own bipolar.

Mind you, we all know that she would’ve jumped up at the first opportunity to post any leak that implied Will was pining and miserable, her and her friends would’ve had a field day over it. And yet, she only clarifies this after…

Not to mention how utterly ridiculous this all is. They’ve filmed stuff up until episode 4 (from what we know), why the hell would Will be pining and hung up over Mike if Mlvn is endgame? That makes absolutely no fucking sense. They would have him immediately fully patch things up with Mike and move on, not be hung up on someone he can’t have in the middle of an apocalypse. Especially not after the Duffers said he’s getting a happy ending. Will getting a happy ending but still being in love with Mike halfway through the last season with Mlvn being endgame is absolute lunacy.

Especially when you consider the fact that narratively, in a sense, Will has already moved on. He doesn’t expect anything from Mike, he doesn’t think Mike can like him back. He saw Mike confess his love in front of El, he helped that confession happen. Will literally has no problem with Mlvn anymore pls 😭 He saved them!!

This is the most ridiculous shit I’ve ever read.

Will is somehow upset at Mike not feeling the same way…when Will already believes Mike doesn’t feel the same and doesn’t ever expect any reciprocation 😭

Either she’s wildly twisting this supposed leak out of context to fit her own perceived narrative of what should happen, or she’s straight up lying about this.

And we know she’s lying about Mlvn so…you people decide what you think of this buffoonery lol.

Wait for Reddit leaks y’all. This woman could get a legit leak saying Byler is endgame and dig her own grave before posting it.

THEORY ABOUT THE NEW WILL PIC

Okay so I’m sure we’ve all seen the new pic of Will looking like a reincarnation of Bella Swan in breaking dawn by now…but in case you haven’t, here it is.

It’s clear Vecna is giving him the Harry Potter and Frodo from lord of the rings treatment. He looks sickly pale, there’s dark circles makeup under his eyes…and most importantly, I believe there is an actual bruise under his left eye.

There’s some speculation going around that what is being filmed today and tomorrow is likely from episode 4. Here’s where the theory part comes in.

The only two other pics of Will we have are the official one posted by Ross, in which he looks perfectly healthy and he seems to be at the radio station, indicating that it belongs to the beginning of the season most likely. Possibly episode 1.

The other is this blurry ass artifact…

You can see that he’s wearing the same top in this pic as in the other new one we got today. And it also looks like he has the under eye bruise here. There was also some speculation that the farm scenes we’ve seen so far are from ep.4 as well.

So I think it’s safe to assume that Will starts off the season okay and he seems to progressively get worse as the episodes go on, with some crazy shit happening in ep.4 that results in a huge bruise on his face.

At least he’s gonna be getting screen time lol

Warning! Potential spoilers for season five of Stranger Things!

Ross Duffer has posted more pictures - this one, of the four Party members stacking hands (from Top to Bottom: Dustin, Will, Lucas, Mike), has caused the most buzz. The blue sweater Mike is wearing, and Will’s red sleeve, aren’t totally dissimilar from the outfits the actors wore when we got our first glimpse of Will Byers last month:

I feel confident that Finn, anyway, is wearing the same thing, and that the farm scenes and this one are close together. It has been revealed this week that they were filming 504 a month ago, as the bottom-right monitor in this recent pic says Tues, Feb 13:

Lastly, the pic above, posted today, is of the Duffer brothers, Finn, and Maya at the radio station. Finn seems to be wearing the same grey sweatshirt that he wore for that El+Mike chat, and Maya appears to be wearing the same clothes as the ones in that birthday video on the farm set - a purple long-sleeved top under a big leather jacket.

Are Mike and Robin, and potentially also Will, going to be filming scenes together that chronologically occur near this El+Mike, weirdly platonic-seeming talk on the radio station roof? Hmm, wonder that they could possibly be talking about, if they are going to interact….

What you just explained was sort of what I was envisioning actually. I’ve seen lots of people theorize El or Will are gonna end up ruling over the UD once Vecna is defeated. I wonder, if that happens to be El, whether the UD would change and she would make it look like a beautiful place and maybe even bring back the people that died in it?? DISCUSSION ABOUT EL’S POTENTIAL ENDING

So Millie has been giving a lot of interviews lately promoting her latest film Damsel, and ofc interviewers have been trying to get some ST5 info out of her. (We all saw that clip where Mlvn got mentioned to her and the face she made lol)

Well there are two new interviews in which Millie talks about El and they are making me kind of nervous…for lack of a better word.

The first is this one…

She was asked what song helps her cry, and she said “when it’s cold I’d like to die” Now that song famously plays every time a character dies on ST, so it wouldn’t be weird for an actor in the show to associate it with sentimental emotions. However, what concerns me a bit is that she mentions that this is “El’s theme” uh??? Since when girl??

The other interview I’ve already seen it floating around so I won’t add a clip, but she was basically asked about whether she knows how it ends for her character. She goes on to say that she asked for a meeting with the Duffers and she saw a board with her character’s fate and went “ohhhh” and slowly walked out.

I’m not gonna lie that answer is not inspiring happiness in me.

I don’t think the Duffers will traditionally kill El. In the sense that I don’t think they would fully kill her off. (too cruel). I do wonder if her character will be around after Vecna has lost and the supernatural has gone away, though. Will she somehow disappear after the conflict is gone? Was she an allegory or metaphor for something?

In the original pitch for the show, the Duffers described El and Mike’s relationship as an Elliot and ET relationship. ET is an alien, therefore at the end of the movie he has to leave Earth. He can’t stay there with the other characters. Are we gonna something similar regarding El?

I don’t want to alarm anyone it’s just that I feel like I’m putting some pieces together here lol…

The Duffers also admitted after S2 came out that El was originally written to “die”, as in she was gonna disappear when she took out the demogorgon. However, they changed their minds when the show got renewed for more seasons. Nonetheless, the Duffers have said that their ending for S5 draws inspiration from the ending of S1.

What the hell are they referring to??

I’m also aware that Millie is an actress and she’s drumming up suspense for the show. I know she has admitted to lying in interviews just for fun too. Can’t really trust an actor ever, but I do wonder if we’re seeing some truth from her here.

Do you guys notice the stark difference between how the official accounts for the show promote Lumax compared to Mlvn since after S4??

Lumax has completely overtaken Mlvn in terms of being the ship they keep pushing for the audience/promoting the most.

Look at all the content we got today. A handhold picture and a bts of Caleb playing with Sadie’s hair.

What have they given us about Mlvn officially? A bts picture of Finn and Millie’s backs with no emphasis on it or caption mentioning Mlvn. And then we got some paparazzi stuff from that same day and that was it.

It’s honestly pretty interesting how little they promote Mlvn at all.

Regarding this whole bi Mike vs. gay Mike debate, I’m personally open to either as long as the Duffers make it make sense. They can take two narrative choices here: Mike is gay and his relationship with El was born out of conformity, trauma bonding, hero worship, and ofc over time, genuine care….or Mike is bi and has been slowly falling out of love with El for the past two seasons and struggling with the idea of liking his best friend, as well as scared of being a boy liking another boy in the 80’s and also trying to conform.

There are similarities in these narratives and there are also differences. However, as long as the duffers explain Mike’s previous behavior in a way that is coherent to whatever narrative they pick (even if that paints some of Mike’s actions in a bad light) , then we have a good story.

Their job is to explain all of Mike’s (often questionable) choices these past few seasons in order for his character to reach a desirable conclusion and achieve some growth, as well as making Byler work in a way that doesn’t feel contrived nor cheap.

I do think it’s important to remember this is a Netflix show that has been geared to the general masses for quite a while now, and that although this is the last season and perhaps they can get away with more, they will most likely have Byler happen in the most palatable way so that the ga accepts them as a couple.

We are talking about a show that vehemently shies away from having their queer characters saying their actual labels out loud, so if Byler happens they will likely try to make them look as sympathetic as possible to the audience. An audience that LOVES Eleven at that.

So while I personally am a huge proponent of complicated situations and drama, I don’t believe the Duffers are.

I do think they probably got a little messy this season, that’s just inherent if they decided to go with Byler as an endgame couple lol….

but let’s just keep in mind that whatever choice the duffers picked is a choice they had to sell to all the Netflix executives, and one they will have to sell to the general audience as well.

Just wanted to warn everyone about this one dm Alex received. The part about a farm boy crushing on Erica is backed up by a photo-double call matching the description of a boy around her age (the height). This person was apparently filming when Priah was.

This is the only message with concrete things backing it up, so for the sakes of pragmatism and my sanity I’ll go ahead and believe it. Wouldn’t be the first time there were genuine cracks in m*lev*n’s relationship, only for them to be wallpapered over. For all we know, the rooftop scene was indeed romantic.

The anon does admit it’s ‘friend of a friend of a friend’ so I’ve no doubt there are things lost in translation here, even if it’s legitimate, but all the same I urge caution, pragmatism, and not to get hopes up.

I was also curious about what it was so I decided to ask atlanta_filming about it, because they were at this set recently and he was kind enough to reply to me. Here’s what they said:
