In the spring of Nargothrond, Maeglin crafts a necklace, Finduilas plans a festival, and both confront a few truths about themselves.

So I wrote a fic for Isilloth for this year’s Tolkien Reverse Summer Bang called Cast Light Upon Our Hearts. The art prompt was for Finduilas and Maeglin in Nargothrond. I was very happy to write fic for one of my favorite rarepair/crackships, and I’m excited for you all to read the fic I wrote and see the full art Isilloth made once posted fic and art is revealed on the AO3 community.

I don’t really have one, I’m rather a book person.

Do you fall in love easily?

Definitely not. Once I do, though, I fall hard, and I usually end up getting hurt.

Do you prefer sweet or salty snacks?

Doesn’t matter. Gimme all the snacks!

Have you ever been on another continent than the one you live on?

Not yet, unfortunately.

Do you have any pet? If not, what pet would you like to have?

I have a grumpy old dog who barks at everyone. We grew up together and I love her to death.

Do you usually like undoubtebly good characters, morally ambigous or villains?

The more ambiguous, problematic or complex a character is, the more chanc they have with me. One thing I never do, though (and hate to see), is idealising them.

Describe your ideal of physical beauty.

I have no idea. Really. Physical beauty has no real meaning for me - which doesn’t mean, of course, that I don’t notice it or it doesn’t have any effect on me; I’m just able to toss it aside for charisma, a sense of humour, a pair of pretty eyes, and/or - above all - intelligence.

Do you take many photos or avoid camera?

I sedom take selfies (only when I want to express something I can’t/don’t want to write down) but I take many photos of nature, random funny things, animals and other random things.

What color of clothes you wear most often?

Black, white, grey and blue.

Do you create something (art, fiction, handicraft, anything)?

I wirte and draw... and anything else that comes to my mind. But I guess you all know that much about me.

Do you still keep in touch with your bestfriend from primary school?

Surprisingly yes. Surprisingly, because I moved far away quite a while ago. And then she followed me for her studies!
