5 Intermittent Fasting Schedules - Popular One’s
1. 16/18 Fasting Method
Eat within a period of up to 8 hours and fast for 16 hours. For example, Eat breakfast at noon and eat dinner before 8 PM.
2. 20:4 Fasting Method
Eat within a 4-hour eating window followed by a 20-hour fast. For example, start your fast after dinner and wait 20 hours until you eat again. Or eat one large meal a day.
3. 5:2 Fasting Diet
Eat normally for five days of the week. But on two non-consecutive days, consume about 500 calories.
4. 24-Hour Fast
Fast for 24 hours once or twice a week. For example, fast from lunch on day one until lunch on day two. You still eat each day, but only once during that day.
5. 36-Hour Fast
Fast for an entire day and night, about 36 hours altogether. For example, fast after dinner on day one, fast during day 2, and break your fast on the morning of day three.

I started intermittent fasting 🍽️ yesterday because I'm technically overweight according to my BMI, and I feel like I'm gaining weight and that makes me uncomfortable. I also paid $11 for this fasteasy app program and I can't believe I did that 🤭 for a whole month, so now I unfortunately have to stick to it. 😫 So we'll see how it goes. So far I'm hungry LOL. But surprisingly not as hungry as I thought I would be. I also downloaded this couch to 5K app to start running again, 🏃🏼‍♀️ and I've done two days in a row of it and I feel pretty good. I completed all of it, and I didn't give up once even though I wanted to 😂 I also have mini bands that I want to incorporate into the mix 💪🏻 I'm on a mission to improve myself for nobody but me for once. I've also started step one, and I'm writing on the step in the NA program with my sponsor. Safe to say big changes are on the horizon! I'm excited. 🪷

Meals for the next couple of days!
I don't really have time to go grocery shopping so I'll be eating these while I'm at work the next couple of days. Meals and snacks, plus protein powder. I use cronometer to track food and, unfortunately, unlike MFP, they don't have MREs in their database, so I'm gonna have to guesstimate calorie input. But, with all the walking I'll be doing, I'm not crazy worried about calories.
More concerned with hydration since it's gonna be hot and I'll be walking about 4 miles in the sun each day. Not my favorite, but I gotta do what I got to do. Though I have noticed I'm getting used to walking and it's not as exhausting as it was even a week ago.
So, food is more or less whatever I have on hand. The good news is that I got a lot less picky about what I eat on a day to day basic. I eat what I have available to me and, right now, this is it.
