headcanon dump | party edition part 1 because i wrote them for @pridewon so thank you to cha for helping me brainstorm genuinely this is so funny to think about for me if you have questions pls and thank u

ikkei ukai: alongside his wife, used to host parties with a vehement determination. he didn't so much focus at drinking at them or partying per se, but he believes adamantly in community get togethers & loves the idea.

keishin ukai: keishin likes the idea of partying but gets too tired to party. he calls going to an izakaya a party. he only dances if he's with friends. can he get low? only for sports! his dancing style is restricted & limited. it’s mostly his arms & a classic step touch. he tries to avoid dad moves. where does that land him?  . . . he did enjoy house parties a lot more when he was younger. his grandmother always managed to catch him & chew him out for it, though. 

tendou satori: loves a party, maybe. it is unclear.  he's not sure if he likes a party or the idea of a party. he shows up late & you actively notice he isn't there until somehow you realize belatedly that he's been a part of a conversation you've been having for the past twenty minutes and you don't know when he joined. he likes a little bit of flashiness and does dance and does drink but doesn't really get drunk. he just likes to have a bit of a wild time for the sake of having a wild time. he likes the idea of party hopping because he also gets bored at parties unless he's with friends. must dance. noodle man. can he get low? absolutely! man’s about to throw it back with friends!  tendou has had an evolving relationships with parties. he liked them when he was a teenager, but it wasn’t something he started growing a comfort with until he was in his twenties, built a community in paris, & found a group to do drag with. 

shirabu kenjirou: he attended parties for shiratorizawa sports thing because he could but did not participate. did not drink. did not dance. did not really talk.  mostly shirabu shows up with friends and then acts overly polite and leaves. however, post med school, he loses composure. he doesn't really like parties but he'll go to them sometimes if he's feeling particularly "it's the end of the world, might as well have a good time!” club behavior is reserved for only having one friend with him, will not dance/club with a group of friends because he doesn't particularly want friends to see him dancing. can he get low? sure can! no one can know! can he dance all right? actually, he’s fine. his dancing is average. he's not embarrassed by it he's just :/ who asked you? anyway he knows how to party but only does so if it's his inclination. serious "i'm too good for u" vibes when considering party behaviors. if you thought he was arrogant on the court? correct. just wait until he walks into a party, though. it’s 2 cool for school behavior

i spent my entire teenaged years fighting for my life. i crawled through the deepest pits of my depression to cling to the promise of a life beyond that pain. i was so convinced that i was going to die young, that i would never see the grace of my age starting with a 2, let alone 3.

so im going to turn 30, and there’s not a damn thing anyone can do to stop me from loving it.
