Yaaaaaaaaay struggling time for about 5 days for my family to try to figure out how to get some food until the third... Already checked food pantries around. They're closed and they will give food to us we can't cook cause we went through them before (We live in a hotel and have been for a year + now) and we only have a small ass mini fridge so the food would go to waste before we can even think of touching it. I am 20+ weeks pregnant and has a 3 year old and my husband is type one diabetic. We have some sides (the like pasta and rice packets) but that's not gonna last us. Could someone PLEASE donate something to us or at least share? We were supposed to be getting paid more but the person who did our paperwork fucked it all up and we aren't getting it until the third. So please could someone help or at least share? :/ Donate to our PayPal ( toxikinsanity89 ) so we can get some food? Id be very grateful! <3 Also if anyone gives me negative comments of any kind you will be blocked. If you do not know my story what I'm going through atm then please keep your judgements to yourself. -The reason we are homeless is because our apartment was falling apart and was infested. We kept telling the new "landlords/slumlords" (turns out they didn't have their licenses) and he kept refusing to fix anything or to sign the papers that the Department of Social Services was providing to have them sign so they could get payed but kept denying yet wanted to keep bugging us for money (legally we had the right to not pay them because when he took over as the new "landlord" he kept refusing to sign legal papers). Well someone had called CPS on us (We believe it was the woman who was helping me with motherhood stuff cause NY state has that type of program for new mothers/expecting mothers and families BECAUSE it was fishy she asked "Well why not CPS They have a preventative case and they'll help ya with things you need and if you're homeless you'll be in a home in no time!" and then as soon as we got moved out she stopped being my worker....) so they came in we told them what was happening and they even got proof for us to back us up from the "landlords" and the government (Department of Social Services) moved us into a hotel then moved us into a shelter and now we are back in the hotel we were before and have been homeless for a bit over a year now... So that is why i say if you don't know my story of why we are homeless with kids please keep the negative comments to yourself because DSS is only giving us a homing budget of $650-700 for rent.... for a family of 4 (about to be 5) people... yet they think that will still help us with the situation we are in (Apartments here in NY are for like 800+; and the ones in our budget is studio and asking for only one person to move in) . Sorry if none of this makes sense/sounds scrambled. We are kind of in panic mode and stressed plus I have adhd brain and trying to explain everything I can all at once for you guys to better understand

Hi, I'm Byron, and this is one of my cats, Little Girl.

We need assistance with a small vet bill, replacing my computer, and saving for living expenses.

Full context: Little Girl is a stray that was dropped off in my neighborhood a few months back, when she was still a kitten. I live in a rural area in the deep south and have no access to no-kill shelters. Finding her a new home in my area would have been difficult if not impossible. I took her in and now love her more than anything, but while I can feed her and my other, fixed cat with ease and take care of both of their immediate needs, I need help getting her spayed and vaccinated. The upfront cost is $250, more than I can save up for alone.

This is my decade old desktop computer. It's well loved and has been limping along for the last five years, but earlier this year it started blue screening regularly. Video and audio drivers have been crashing, the USB ports are failing, the side panel will no longer stay on, and it has a host of other small problems that can no longer be ignored. I am disabled and chronically ill. I need to use a desktop for physical accessibility, as well as my safety and mental health; this computer is my lifeline to the outside world. It pains me to do this during the worst inflation we've seen in years, but it has to be replaced. I expect it to cost between 600 and 1800 dollars.

Lastly, sometime within the next 4-18 months I'll be able to move to a safer environment. Plans are still being finalized, but I have to leave my current residence no matter what. Because I am disabled I'm dependent on donations and what few Etsy sales I can make to feed myself and get my meds, half of which are for a heart condition and all of which are essential to my health and wellbeing. The high goal of this fundraiser should ensure I can pay for the things I need to do before I move, and help me continue to stay housed, medicated, and fed until then; if there is any money leftover by the move, it will go towards getting settled in my new home.

My parents died in 2020 and with them went the most important support network I had. While I don't need much to live each month, losing the 50-100 dollars I got from them has crippled me on top of the shock of mourning for them both so suddenly. The isolation of living where I do, being unable to safely be myself or even form social connections in my town, has been a great deal to bear. This move will save my life, but I desperately need help to make it.

Thranduil gripped your chin and forced you to meet his gaze. "Sweet starlight, why do you turn your face from me?"

You said nothing, your cheeks merely burning with embarrassment. Thranduil’s question should have surprised you, but it did not. Whenever you shared pleasures with the king, he would want to look into your eyes, and you would inevitably close them and turn away. Before this night, he did not ask why you did it, and now? Now he wanted some sort of explanation.

Of course, you had an explanation, just one, but that embarrassed you even more.

"Starlight?" Thranduil was not about to let this go. "Why do you look away?"

You hummed quietly and sat up, flushing when the king sat up with you. "I… umm… that is…" you stumbled over your words, your tongue tied up in knots. Thranduil studied you with barely disguised curiosity while you fidgeted with the hem of your robe. "The thing is… I…" you buried your face in your hands and sighed. "I am not sure you would like how I look when we… when we…"

Understanding dawned, and Thranduil smiled when he heard a muffled scream. "Starlight," he pulled your hands away from your face. "Is that what troubles you? That I might be repulsed by the expressions you make when making love?"

You nodded meekly, still too embarrassed to face him. Thranduil kept smiling and looked around, his gaze skimming over the chamber before it rested on something that caught his eye and piqued his interest—something that gave him an idea. "Stay here," he said, and rose out of bed.

You raise your head, wondering what he was up to. The answer presented itself soon enough with the sound of wood creaking. Thranduil had hefted a large silvered-looking glass, one that was taller than him, and brought it over, placing it at the foot of the bed with a soft thud.

"There," he huffed, dusting his hands before joining you in bed. "That should do nicely."

You studied your reflection in the shimmering glass and gulped. "Do nicely for what, my love?"

Thranduil smiled—a slow, wicked smile—before making himself comfortable next to you. "I want you to see, starlight," he breathed huskily, and he helped you to your knees, his arm around your waist. "I want you to see that there is nothing for you to hide. I want you to see how much I enjoy seeing you while I pleasure you—that there is nothing for you to be shamed by. Now, will you permit me to go further?"

The very idea of it—watching him in the reflection of that looking glass while he pleasured you—was just so shocking, so very sinful, and more than a little daunting. It made you nervous to watch him like this, to have him look up and watch you; you were unsure you could do it. Still, you could not keep averting your gaze every night, so you came to a decision and nodded. "Yes. You can go further."

Thranduil’s eyes blazed in the dim candlelight, his hands reaching over to your robe. You felt it—the heat of his breath against the nape of your neck when he moved slightly behind you, the warmth of his hands that radiated through your silks. And you kept still, so very still, your gaze fixed on the looking glass.

The king took his time, untying the belt of your robe and drawing it away, exposing what lay beneath. "You look like a painting, starlight," he murmured, his hands sliding over to your belly. "Your body is so perfect, like you had stepped out of a vision."

Helpless and stunned, you continued to keep still, unable to tear your eyes away from what you were witnessing in the looking glass. Thranduil’s hand moved up, over to your breasts, running his fingers over your nipples over and over again until they started to throb and ache, and harden beneath his touch.

"Do you see it, starlight, how your body trembles?" Thranduil whispered, his touch persistent and demanding.

Flushed and breathless, you did indeed see it—how the muscles of your belly fluttered, how your entire body quivered. And there was Thranduil, his eyes darkening with lust, the need in his gaze matching the growing desire in yours. You felt it, growing prickles of pleasure all over your body, heat slowly pooling at your core. You blushed and instinctively tried to look away, but Thranduil caught it.

"Look into the looking glass, starlight," he crooned, his hand gliding down to the apex of your thighs. "And focus on me. I want you to see how high I could take you."

You raised your eyes and found his locked on yours. Embarrassment slowly morphed into something else, something dark and primal, when he moved his hand over to your slit and found it already hot and wet. His fingers moved in a slow, delicate rhythm, and his name parted your lips in almost a sob. You still couldn’t look away, not when he possessed you the way he did. Your body started to move against him; your hands moved to rest over his, and his groan, guttural and harsh, felt so sweet to your ears.

"That is it, starlight," he rasped, his voice already roughened, when your first moan spilled free. "Show me how much you desire this."

Thranduil watched, utterly spellbound, as you came undone in front of him, how you sagged into him, your moans and mewls slowly turning to pleas. Pleas for more, pleas for him to go faster, to take you higher. He wanted to incite and inflame, to break down your walls, and he was amply rewarded when your hands pressed over his, to guide him. He slid a finger inside the warmth of your sex, then another, moving them inside you, slowly growing drunk on your needy moans.

"Th-thranduil," you whimpered shakily, all sense of shame now long forgotten. The sight of the woman in that looking glass, her body yielding to pleasure of the acutest kind, her eyes darkening with each deft stroke, was too beautifully erotic, and you took great pleasure in seeing it—how he pleasured you, how he took you higher and higher, like he promised.

"Do you see, sweet starlight?" Thranduil cooed sweetly, "Do you see you have nothing to hide? How much I delight in seeing you this way?"

How true he was, and how foolish you felt. And how Thranduil looked on, with lust-filled eyes, as if he were feasting on what he was seeing. "I do see," you breathed, harsh and ragged, the muscles in your belly coiling as your release neared.

"Keep looking, starlight," Thranduil ran his tongue over your neck even as you trembled and he felt a tightening around his fingers. You were close, so very close. "See how beautiful you are even now."

And you looked on with heavy-lidded eyes as a wave of bliss rose higher and higher, as a sweet, delightful pressure grew stronger and stronger, unceasing, until it felt like your body splintered, and Thranduil’s name came out like a desperate, wanton cry. Your entire body shook against his as you slumped into him, your breath coming out in shallow pants. Thranduil held onto you, moaning softly as your walls contracted around his fingers, pulling them deeper. His gaze cut to the looking glass and found you, looking right back at him, your lips curling into a deep and satisfied smile.

"You were right," you murmured, your hands still over his. You turned to the side and found his lips just over yours. "There was nothing for me to be shamed by."

Thranduil leaned in and kissed you, his body humming with unsated need. "Absolutely nothing," he said, before helping you lay back in bed. "And now, starlight, I hope you will indulge me, by letting me make incredibly thorough love to you this night."

No longer plagued by your fears, you smiled and welcomed him into his arms.

Writing in General (For those who don't want to die like Stormtroopers)

SlickWrite: Completely free; online. Checks grammar, punctuation, flow, and writing style according to different settings (including fiction writing).

ProWritingAid: [RECOMMENDED] One of the most thorough online proofreader I've ever used. Although when using a free account gives extremely thorough feedback, it gives +20 different in-depth reports for only the first 500 words for free. However, you can earn a premium account license (for a year or for life) if you get 10 or 20 new users signing up for free; (if you wouldn't mind doing so using the link above and help me earn mine, please). The settings allow you to check your writing according to your needs, from general to formal to creative. It has a bonus that you can check depending on the genre you're writing. For example, in creative, you can choose romance or sci-fiction (there are 14 sub-genre in total). And just like google docs, you can share a document, and people can view, comment or edit.

LanguageTool: [RECOMMENDED] Another excellent proofreader. It also has a word limit in free accounts, but if you use the add-on for Google Docs, it counts each page as a new document, so hitting the limit is nearly impossible. It helps you to rewrite a sentence, even if it doesn't raise any flags; it's very useful for when your sentence is grammatically correct, but it doesn't feel quite right.

Grammarly, Hemingway Editor: No so great, but they do the basic job.

Although I don’t personally headcanon Tim as trans (though i definitely enjoy trans tim content 👌😋), he certainly has his fair share of scars

They’re mostly on his arms and hands

Some are from fights, others are from miscellaneous accidents, some have been there as long as he can remember and he’s not even sure where they came from

But theres one thing he knows for sure:

He HATES when people point them out

He can’t really explain it, he just hates having attention drawn to them

You may not feel the same way, but even if you say you don’t mind he’ll be careful not to point them out

That’s not to say you won’t catch him staring when he thinks you’re not looking, though

The scars just look so…natural, on you

Like they’ve always been there

He forgets that they’re scars, really

He’s not sure why he feels so different about scars on you than he does on him

The longer he’s with you the less he notices your scars anymore

And the less he notices his own too

Over time he becomes less insecure about them as he watches you not only live with but accept and maybe even embrace your scars

And there’s something he loves about being able to run his hand down your bare chest, the marks on his hand matching with your scars

Especially when he finds you in bed with him, climbing on top of him and straddling his lap

He cant stop himself from reaching out and pulling your shirt off, his large hands splaying out over your torso as he admires you, feeling your heartbeat thump behind your ribs

If your position allows him to see your chest, don’t be surprised if he can’t pull his eyes away

He’s not very talkative during sex, but he’s always sure to remind you how handsome you are

He knows sex can sometimes trigger dysphoria, and he doesn’t want you to forget that you’re his sweet boy, forever and always

You can thank him for the praise by taking one of his scarred hands and pressing a soft kiss to it, a silent reassurance that his feelings about you are not unrequited

He may even suggest getting a cool tattoo to emphasize them!

But if you don’t want that, he’s perfectly content simply being allowed to run his fingers over your scars

He’ll often absentmindedly begin tracing them whenever you’re laying together, sometimes not even realizing he’s doing it

He loves to kiss your chest too

He’s a romantic type, what can I say 🤷

He just loves to give your scars all the gentle attention they deserve, he can’t help it

Don’t be surprised if his hands find your scars as if they have a mind of their own, always wandering to your chest whenever you’re standing at the counter or sitting on the couch with him

And don’t be surprised if those wandering hands lead to more than just gentle touches

If you allow him his way during sex, he’ll always insist on having you on your back

He’ll pay extra attention to your chest, and i don’t just mean your scars (although they certainly aren’t ignored)

He’s much more vocal than Tim, a constant stream of praises and reassurances spilling from his mouth and he drones on and on about how handsome you are and how lucky he is to have such a beautiful boy like you to take care of

cant stop thinking about roommate AU Q and others seemed to like him so I'm gonna share some of my ideas, though a lot of you got the vibe perfectly and described him better than I could with my bad english but here you go nonetheless.

Noone has any idea how he pays his half of the rent, considering the fact that he seems to be unemployed.

He seems to be absolutely loaded (which comes directly from the Q continuum) and though Picard never struggles with money often, when he does Q will be dramatically reluctant about it but always jump to help him out.

Almost never actually in the apartment, usually like twice a month.

Despite him almost never being in the apartment Picard can call him up and Q will come running ( though lord knows that's the last thing Picard would wanna do)

When actually in the apartment he makes use of all of it, rarely ever staying only in his room. Most of his time is spent in the kitchen/living room (i always imagined it would be joined) couch, or following Picard around to any room he tries to escape to.

CONSTANTLY steals clothes, towels, just whatever he can get his hands on. This man has absolutely zero regard for personal space.

This applies not only to Picard, as Picard is a fair bit smaller than Q, Q will often resort to just "borrowing" Riker's clothes if he's around.

This also applies to Picard's bed, in which he will sleep whether or not Picard is there. Sometimes Picard will let him stay, throwing his blanket to cover Q also, most of the time he will immediately angerly shoo him out.

This is an if you choose to imagine him without his powers thing- He gets cold really easily. In the summer it's fine but during the winter there will be no blankets in sight unless you look to Q who is bundled up as if he's about to go live in a shed in Greenland.

In the winter his hate for the cold often is the cause of him appearing in Picards room and plopping down to sleep next to him, which in turn due to the extra 5 blankets and man will leave Picard overheating.

Will bring the most awful and garish decorations known to man. when he leaves Picard will instantly put them in Q's room, never to be seen again.

Will never clean or do the dishes, but will leave with the fridge way more full than it was before, despite him only ever being seen eating takeaway or Picard's cooking.
