Sorry to be making another post again, I know I probably sound like a broken record at this point but my family and I are again in another desperate situation, this time worst than the last few. Some context, my name is Link, I'm a 22-year old artist and since November 2021 my family and I (father and younger sibling) have been homeless and living in a motel. Our only source of income is through my commissions + the occasional donations.

Recently, things have gotten worse. We've been having trouble paying for the room recently, let alone food. Most of the week we either didn't have food or barely had anything to eat. On top of that, we haven't been able to pay the past couple days and now we owe 200$. Thankfully the staff here are nice with extensions but we don't have much time. If we don't pay everything by tomorrow, we will be forced to leave. And we don't have anywhere to go if that happens.

Work has been very slow and despite me advertising my work on various platforms, we haven't had help for the past couple days. I'm hoping we could get some help through here if possible. We are Still homeless we need to fix the alternator in our car and our only income is delivering food and we only have one car. Help me and my family get a home for Christmas

I hate to ask yall this but please if you can even look at/donate/share to my gofundme you can help my mom, dogs and I out of homelessness. The post says more but the gist is, I’m newly disabled from a terrible fainting disorder and stroke level blood pressure and am still getting my bearings on that and the very few resources I have access to. Our “friend” took us in a few months ago but since neither of us will sleep with him/entertain his abuse he wants us out of here. He’s volatile and i never know what he’s gonna verbally throw a me or mom. We’ve been homeless for about 7-8 months and our temporary living situation was toxic and is now dangerous. Yaaaaaaaaay struggling time for about 5 days for my family to try to figure out how to get some food until the third... Already checked food pantries around. They're closed and they will give food to us we can't cook cause we went through them before (We live in a hotel and have been for a year + now) and we only have a small ass mini fridge so the food would go to waste before we can even think of touching it. I am 20+ weeks pregnant and has a 3 year old and my husband is type one diabetic. We have some sides (the like pasta and rice packets) but that's not gonna last us. Could someone PLEASE donate something to us or at least share? We were supposed to be getting paid more but the person who did our paperwork fucked it all up and we aren't getting it until the third. So please could someone help or at least share? :/ Donate to our PayPal ( toxikinsanity89 ) so we can get some food? Id be very grateful! <3 Also if anyone gives me negative comments of any kind you will be blocked. If you do not know my story what I'm going through atm then please keep your judgements to yourself. -The reason we are homeless is because our apartment was falling apart and was infested. We kept telling the new "landlords/slumlords" (turns out they didn't have their licenses) and he kept refusing to fix anything or to sign the papers that the Department of Social Services was providing to have them sign so they could get payed but kept denying yet wanted to keep bugging us for money (legally we had the right to not pay them because when he took over as the new "landlord" he kept refusing to sign legal papers). Well someone had called CPS on us (We believe it was the woman who was helping me with motherhood stuff cause NY state has that type of program for new mothers/expecting mothers and families BECAUSE it was fishy she asked "Well why not CPS They have a preventative case and they'll help ya with things you need and if you're homeless you'll be in a home in no time!" and then as soon as we got moved out she stopped being my worker....) so they came in we told them what was happening and they even got proof for us to back us up from the "landlords" and the government (Department of Social Services) moved us into a hotel then moved us into a shelter and now we are back in the hotel we were before and have been homeless for a bit over a year now... So that is why i say if you don't know my story of why we are homeless with kids please keep the negative comments to yourself because DSS is only giving us a homing budget of $650-700 for rent.... for a family of 4 (about to be 5) people... yet they think that will still help us with the situation we are in (Apartments here in NY are for like 800+; and the ones in our budget is studio and asking for only one person to move in) . Sorry if none of this makes sense/sounds scrambled. We are kind of in panic mode and stressed plus I have adhd brain and trying to explain everything I can all at once for you guys to better understand

I’m sorry, but why do we keep continuing to act as if Jason was out on the streets jacking tires because he felt like it?

Why frame this as Jason just being an angry kid doing angry kid things because he’s parentless (or powerless and lashing out or whatever) when he was stealing the tires off the batmobile so he could feed himself because he was disadvantaged - ie: homeless. He was fucking homeless - ?

I’m probably nitpicking, but I don’t give a shit. Also, the narrative that Bruce is who “made” Jason a good person “against all the odds” is such bullshit.

Homeless & Needing Help

We're currently at a Motel 6 my friend booked for us, but we're not done moving out of the apartment nor do we have enough gas to get us from where we're staying to Fallbrook and still run errands and take things to our storage unit.

While we have help with long term housing and possibly long term shelter while we're homeless, we need help with food and more time at a motel. I'm trying to raise the money to book another stay now and also February 4th to 9th because I have a colonoscopy scheduled for the 7th. We also have bills to pay to leave us in a better position than we are now, including electric and internet.

Any help or reblogs are very useful. Right now I am overdrawn $1.6K and my mom will be overdrawn $150 tomorrow (we needed food and she had to pay for stuff today). Please help. We're desperate.

Hi, my name is Link and my family and I (father and younger sibling) have been homeless for two years and a half now (since November 2021). It's a long story but in short, my father fell into a diabetic coma and lost his job, leaving him without a home since he mainly lived in his truck. My sibling and I were also being forced to leave our homes, so it was a very sad coincidence 🥲 my friend, who's home I had to leave due to family medical issues, drove us to the nearest motel and I've been doing commissions to support us ever since.

We're living day by day with the commissions I and my sibling recieve and recently, work has been very scarce. Most days, like today, we're staying up all night and afternoon to pay for our room that we're trying to stay in and we barely have any food for the week. I'm hoping to get enough to pay for at least today and something to eat for tonight.

We don't have any family support (each side of the family has refused to help and has cut us off) and no friend support from any of us, so we've been doing things ourselves from the start. We'd really appreciate any kind of help we could get, especially with the way things are going right now. I'll be putting my prices and contact info below if anyone is interested (my pms are open as well!) Thank you for taking the time to read this and for sharing this or any help you give us if you do, it really means a lot to us.

My turnaround time per commission is up to a week - two weeks for smaller commissions and up to two weeks — a month for bigger commissions since I'm usually busy with starting/finishing other commissions because I have to take on a lot at once to maintain our living situation. If you ever need an immediate update aside from my normal updates between stages, please let me know! As for payment, it will be made upfront with no refunds since we need to use them right away either for the room or food and don't have the extra funds to repay in case someone would want a fund.

HOMELESS FAMILY NEEDS 800$

Hello everyone, me and my family are in dire need of money, we have been homeless for over a year. Recently we thought we had somewhere we could stay in our trucl & camper and work on establishing a income but the rug was pulled out from under us, our host didn't tell us critical information that we even asked for which has resulted in her receiving a eviction notice for a couple of months from now and us being told we had to leave ASAP

Now the big issue is that since we thought we could stay here we brought all of our stuff here so we could get it out of storage (which was becoming hard to afford & the manger was starting to try to hold our stuff hostage to control us) and well now we need to take it to a new place, which means more rent and we need gas to move our stuff from the farm we were staying at to the storage place.

We also have other expenses which I will breakdown here

- Storage bill

- Gas, both to move our stuff and also to stay warm in the -20c weather we are in

- Food, we are very low on food & barely scraping by

- Car insurance, without this we can't go on the road

- Phone bill, if we cannot pay this we will have no internet & be unable to fund rise.

In total if we can get $800 for this week we will be able to deal with this.
