her muse pt. 2

talk about a crappy day. [name] doesn't get her fight with katsuki. instead the two are sucked up by a sludge villain wanting to claim their quirks. after all that, [name] has an encounter with someone she hates.

bakugo katsuki x fem!reader

a/n: this isn't a thought out story. I wrote this all on a whim, so critique it with a grain of salt lmaoooo also I don't have any idea who really should be a love interest. midoriya was first pick, but like uraraka lmaooooo so ima add some bakugo moments.

That text never came and Izuku watched in horror seeing his childhood friends being harassed by the same villain that bothered him.

It had happened all too fast for the strongest students at Aldera Middle School to react to an attack. Their cocky and angry attitudes toward each other morphed into one of surprise.

“You two, get out of here!” [Name] pushed Katsuki’s so-called followers out of the way. In turn, she was swept up by the sludge monster and it laughed at her heroic action.

“You saved them for no reason!” It’s laughter was filled with no concern for her or Katsuki. Her rainbow colored eyes made contact with Bakugo just in time to see each other being harassed.

“Kat…suki!” [Name] groaned in a miserable tone as she moved her head about using her wind quirk to push the tentacle trying to worm its way into her mouth. “Blow this bastard up!” Her arms were pinned down to her sides, but that didn’t really limit her quirk usage.

To this, Katsuki lit his hands up and it caused the villain to laugh. His efforts were making things worse as things caught on fire and damage was being done around them. “Silly girl! If you don’t surrender yourself to me, I’ll use your friend instead! How’s that sound!”

[Name] watched as the villain pulled Katsuki further into his slime body and she was stuck trying to choose what to do. A tentacle slid up her leg and she shrieked from the contact allowing another tentacle of slime to make its way to her mouth.

She choked on it and she couldn’t focus any longer as the villain began enveloping her. She couldn’t think straight, if she used her fire to push this villain off of her, everyone around her would be in danger! Tears pricked her eyes as she wasn’t getting any sufficient air in her system.

“How dare you prey on children!” A hero shouted and punched the slime villain. The villain wasn’t hurt, it couldn’t be. Something has to blow it away! [Name] felt herself slowly lose consciousness. She needed to use her wind to push away this villain. Chip at him little by little if she has too.

[Name] heard Katsuki yell and he got his mouth free yelling at the villain. “You picked the wrong guy to mess with! I’m gonna send you back to whatever sewer you crawled out of! Let me go!” Katsuki used his quirk and the explosions got bigger around him. She felt the heat and it burned her skin, but it also allowed her to stay awake.

She was going to get out of here too! [Name] closed her eyes tightly and a huge gust of wind came down the street. Light objects like plastic water bottles, papers and the like were flying around the sludge villain. She focused harder and the wind got stronger to the point where people had to hold on to each other or stronger objects that wouldn’t budge like street poles.

The wind forced the slimy tentacle out her mouth and she greedily sucked in a huge breath of well needed air. “So much power from the both of you!” The villain cheered in excitement, his crazed eyes looking down at the girl.

“Let us go, you pervert!” [Name] shouted at the top of her lungs and her right hand lit on fire. The ground beneath her cracked and she couldn’t hold herself back anymore. She wanted out of this situation. She didn’t want to be touched any longer.

“Oh~” The villain cooed with a giant smirk, his giant eyes looking up and down her frame, “but this girl, she’s so much stronger! I don’t need you!” The villain spat Katsuki out of his body and instead focused on taking complete control over [Name]. But she wasn’t going to go without a fight!

The villain slammed her back against the floor and she threw a fireball at his eye. “Hah! Just let me take control of you, silly girl!” The villain grew larger in size and not even the wind was going to help her get him off her. She was going to die if the heroes around her won’t help her.

She tried crawling backwards away from him. She tried throwing multiple fireballs at him. She tried throwing pieces of the broken earth beneath her at him. Nothing was working against him!

The slime villain hovered over her fear stricken body and she felt herself having a panic attack. She couldn’t think straight. The voice of the villain telling her to give up. The voices of the heroes that already gave up on saving her.

She heard them all. None of them couldn’t help her. She was alone in all of this. As she covered both of her fists in fire, [Name] slapped and blocked the onslaught of tentacles aiming for her mouth. “Katsuki!” She shouted in a desperate cry, “I need you to blast this bastard away! You’re the only one capable of doing that!”

Her voice carried in strong waves and it sent shivers down the peoples back.

“Let go of me! You heard her! I’m the only one that can help her! Damn it, go help her! Stop holding me back!”

The strain in Katsuki’s voice caught [Name] off guard and she looked to where her friend was being held back. Death Arms had his arms wrapped around Katsuki’s torso not letting him go back into danger. “Gotcha, girly!” The villain cackled and held [Name] upside down by her ankles. She squealed and the flames on her hands disappeared so she could hold her skirt down.

“You disgusting- umph!”

The villain shoved a tentacle in her mouth and forced himself onto her. [Name] squeezed her eyes shut and cried for help in her head. The sludge villain laughed at her predicament and lowered her closer to the floor. “If any hero tries to save her, I’ll snap her neck! Don’t test me!”

The ground started to shake in tremors and a small tornado was forming around the villain. The fire was being sucked in and [Name] clenched her hands tightly. ‘Anyone, please! Help me!’

“[Name]!”

Her eyes shot open and she was surprised to see Midoriya run straight to her, small tears leaving his eyes. His breath was unsteady, but his legs moved so fast towards her. “Ugh not this kid again!” The villain moved to attack Izuku, but instead he threw his yellow backpack at the villain. A journal hit the villain in the eye and the tornado dispersed immediately when Izuku came to range.

He clawed at the sludge and [Name] broke free with a gasp . She worriedly looked at Izuku and told him as she coughed, “Izu! It’s not safe here! You have to go!”

Izuku looked at her as he watched the slime enter her mouth again. He nervously smiled at her, his hands not stopping. “I couldn’t just stand there! I couldn’t watch you die! I’ll never leave you behind, [Name]!” She couldn’t respond back to him as the villain cackled and forced himself back onto the girl.

“She’s mine now! And I’m done toying with you!” The villain shouted and raised a giant hand to slam Izuku down, but the poor boy was protected from the hit. The smoke had settled and All Might stood in all his glory.

[Name] felt All Might’s hand dig in the sludge and he grabbed her small one on his own. “Detroit!” She closed eyes and prepared for All Might’s punch, “SMASH!”

All Might successfully pulled her out of the slime while punching the slime villain the hell away from her. She was secured in his grasp as the wind around them formed a tornado high in the sky. It dispersed after a bit and her tired body collided against Izuku’s as they were placed on the uneven street below them.

She sighed in relief and reached a shaky hand out to Izuku. Her fingers traced from his cheekbone down to his chin and she smiled at him weakly, “Thank you, Izu. You saved me.” She pulled away from him and turned to lay on her back, her face being touched by the raindrops.

“I’m so tired.”

…

[Name] was swarmed by interviewees and heroes praising her and Bakugo for their courageous act they put out. Yet their kind words never reached her ears because she was focused on the ones she heard from the two heroes scolding Midoriya. She walked away from Katsuki’s side and approached the timid boy.

“Please, be nicer to him,” She gently said and wiped the dirt off her skirt, “Izuku may have been reckless, but he was brave in his own way. If he didn’t step in when he did, I think we all know what would have happened if that villain got in control of my quirk.”

The two pros looked at her and couldn’t really say anything to her. They weren’t in the place to do so because not even them could step in to help her. Kamui walked up to her and showed concern over her wounds, “You should have your cuts looked over, go to the-”

[Name] raised her hand and smiled, “I’m okay, once I’m in the mood to sing, my voice will heal me just fine.”

Death Arms looked at her in awe and questioned her, “Wait, you are able to control the elements and you can heal yourself? I have to say that’s very impressive!”

“My singing voice heals all kinds of wounds of others and myself. I think it’s very useful as well.” She blushed and looked down at Izuku. [Name] gave him a shy wave and said, “I have to go now. My dad is probably worried about me and my phone is dead. Thank you again, Izuku. I’ll see you at school.”

“R-right, please be careful on your way home,” Izuku stood up from the ground and waved back at her.

‘I wonder how Katsuki is doing? I kinda ditched him for Izuku…and we never did have our duel - ughhhh~’ [Name] rubbed her forehead and kicked a pebble off to the side.

“Hey, kid, been awhile, huh?”

[Name] stopped dead in her tracks and turned around slowly to see her mother looking at her with a conniving smirk on her old face. Her mom’s rainbow colored eyes stared straight into her anxious soul.

“You gonna give me a hug or what?”

No,was the word [Name] wanted to reply back with. But she didn’t have the gall to do it. Instead she kept her safe distance from that wretched woman. [Name] kept her mouth closed and her fists clenched too tightly. Then she mustered up the confidence to speak.

“What do you want?” [Name] asked, her eyes squinting into a glare directed at her mother.

“You know what kind of proposal I’m going to give you.” Her mother rolled her eyes in annoyance and continued to say, “It’s time for you to start your real training. Time for you to keep my dear friend happy.”

[Name] cleared her throat, the lump inside was too big to swallow, “I already told you and that man, I want nothing to do with your agenda.”

“Oh, my dear, [Name],” Her mother relaxed her shoulders and one foot began tapping against the floor, “do you want your poor dad to suffer? He’s a good man, we both know he doesn’t belong in our world.”

[Name] slammed her destroyed school bag on the floor, her mouth twitching in anger, “You leave my dad out of this. He wants nothing to do with you anymore and I don’t blame him. You used him then left him for some ugly ass guy. I won’t be used like my dad.”

Her mother sighed and threw her hands in the air. Her nails long and sharp, they glittered in the sun with the polish on them “Fine~ You leave me no choice then. You either train with me and accept your Siren quirk or you lose both your quirks surrendering them to that man.”

[Name] looked down at the floor and weighed her options. Losing her quirk doesn’t sound good and to leave it to that man to use it like it belonged to him made her blood boil. She was still going to attend U.A, maybe if she got a pro’s help then she’d be fine. Yes, that could work.

‘You want a show of my quirk, I’ll give it to you,’ [Name] wiped her eyes and looked back at her mother. “I’ll train with you, on the condition that you don’t visit this town anymore. I’ll meet up with you when you need me. It doesn’t go the other way around.”

Her mother shrugged her shoulders and began walking away from her, “That’s a good girl! I’ll see you soon, darling!”

[Name] stayed in her spot until her mother’s body was out of sight. When she was gone, the girl sucked in a deep breath and put her hand on her chest to feel her beating heart. She had to play her cards right. She knew her mother and that villain group she was a part of was going to utilize her especially because she was going to U.A.

“Hey, what the hell was that about?”

“Ahh!”

[Name] spun around and saw Katsuki looking at her with his scrutinizing red eyes. She picked up her bag and stupidly asked, “What do you mean?”

Katsuki scoffed and rolled his eyes, “Whatever, if you don’t wanna tell me about the shitty relationship you have with your old lady, I won’t ask.” He stuffed his hands into his jeans and began walking towards his house which was in the same direction of [Name]’s.

[Name] ran up to his side and looked at his body. His clothes weren’t as battered as hers, but she saw some light bruises and cuts around his body. “Hey Katsuki,” she offered softly, “let me heal our wounds together.”

“With a stupid song? No thanks, they can heal on their own.” He rejected quickly and [Name] laughed before clearing her throat. Together, they walked back to their houses with [Name] singing ‘When The Sun loves The Moon’. It was perfect because the sun was setting while the moon was coming out to greet its bright rays.

Katsuki listened intently to the lyrics and side glanced at the girl singing next to him. Despite their disagreements, Katsuki still found her, in his eyes, a great friend to him. Even towards stupid Deku. She was nice, fierce, strong and…pretty.

Katsuki looked away from her and shook his head in denial, ‘Yeah, right. She’s plain dumb, that’s it.’

but just thinking about the night after the party with the sugawara boys which consisted of y/n and the boys building a fort and falling asleep in it. mister ayato and miss yua find you guys in the morning but thinks it's so adorable that they leave you all alone (not without snapping a quick picture though). they're so happy that y/n is finally comfortable and no longer alone <3

now let's talk about the composition of this fort because structurally.. it's shit. it quite literally makes no sense how was it about to fit three whole growing teens and lets not forget ran's long ass limbs. so it really ended up being y/n splayed out over rin whos lying on his stomach and ran just being on top of both you like a blanket with collapsed pillows all around you. and all three of you may or may not be in matching pj's that you bought for their one month moving in gift. now were the possibly the the ugliest onsies in existence? (i'm talking like hammerhead shark onsies ugly). maybe. and they may have out grown them *just* a bit with all of your ankles being exposed and sleeves cut off at the forearm but they wouldn't have it any other way because you got it for them and it's the first thing you all have ever shared <3

bonus: your uncle might have stopped by to check on y/n and the boys (he would die before he revealed a soft spot for you all) and he may have also snapped a pic.. but not before ordering you all new matching pj's because that shit was ATROCIOUS.

ran definitely woke up first and looked down fondly at both of your drool covered faces and went right back to sleep and when everyone woke up a few hours later with a suspicious package that contained possibly even more horrendous matching pj's (think bananas in pyjamas) nobody said anything.. but still wore them the next night and tucked their old matching pj's in their closet and they all have them.. even now.

City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare My rating: 3 of 5 stars Just think. None of this would have happened if they had just left Jace dead after Valentine killed him. ¯_(ツ)/¯ Truthfully, though, I love-hate these books. I get such a kick out of everyone's drama and enjoy CC's world-building. I ask about a thousand questions per book, and she usually answers them a few books later, if not the next book, which always makes me happy. I like the multi-POV in each book and think she does a good job of balancing it out. The one major complaint I have is that I read The Red Scrolls of Magic before this because I'm reading CC's recommended order, and like…it doesn't fit at all. Alec and Magnus act entirely different from their characters in that book, and Alec no longer knows who Magnus' dad is, nor does he remember that he was present during Aline and Helen getting together. I know CC wrote this before she wrote TRSOM, but it's confusing to read in the order she recommends(did I word that right?) Anywho, I'm still enjoying these. ¯_(ツ)/¯ Clary still annoys me, but what else is new? I'm proud of her for finally stabbing Jace lmaooooo. Alec was hella biphobic in this book, and it was not cool. Simon and Isabelle finally got to me, and now I ship them. I do not ship Maia and Jordan, though… at all. That's a weird vibe that I am not going to get into right now. I just don't like it at all. Also, one thing that like I wish we would have seen more of in the original trilogy was how much Valentine supposedly loved Jocelyn. The fact that he had a whole closet of clothes he handpicked for her, hoping she'd return to him, did not show in the first three books. He seemed so stoic to me at all times, which was the point of him, but I don't know. I would've liked to see him act loving toward Jocelyn. I don't even remember if we saw them interact tbh… ¯_(ツ)_/¯ On to the next one! View all my reviews

i'll be honest, i edit most things after long enough. if there is a story i love, it has gotten an edit. i think every chapter of Collateral is 200-2000 words longer than they were originally because over spring break, when i had writers block, i decided to edit it lmaooooo. same with Boy Blue.

✨ what's a fic you've posted you wish you could breathe life into again and have people talking about it? (or simply a fic you wish got more credit)

i feel like, because it is mxm This Sordid Place got too little attention, but what can you do??? i don't like to write reader inserts but it's all tumblr wants to read, so i suffer.

🪄 what is your post-writing/sharing aftercare? how do you take care of yourself or celebrate yourself when you've finished a fic?

☯️ how do you think engaging with each other through tumblr, twitter, comments, kudos, creates healthy fandom experiences? how do you deal with that if you're not a social person/experience social anxiety?

i think that, if people want to talk to authors, then it is good encouragement to make them want to keep going. it is also fun to find like-minded people to talk with about other things! i have made a lot of friends through writing and reading fanfic.

honestly, i have a bit of social anxiety, so sometimes a lot of notifs stress me out and i struggle to be active. but often i am fine. i don't know what i do to deal with it? take breaks? idk.

💎why is writing important to you?

it's nice to have a creative outlet, though i would just be doing something else if i was not doing this. i do like to connect with people through my writing, though, and having that has been really nice! and also really stressful!!! i don't mean to sound so cynical tonight lmao but tbh writing and sharing my writing has been a bit of a double-edged sword. i have fun, for the most part!

LET US THEORIZE TOGETHER MISS CALLA. why was Taeju so loyal to Mujin? How did Taeju join Dong-cheon? Love your writing xo

ooooooooooooooh this is fun

SO i was thinking about this while writing for taeju the other day........ why was taeju so obsessed with mujin's approval and trust there were so many moments in the show where mujin was clearly losing it and was no longer thinking clearly or rationally. why didn't taeju just jump ship then? why did he stand by mujin's side til the end???

my theory: choi mujin was the only adult who had never disappointed taeju.

(BELOW THE CUT IS 1000000% MY HEADCANON FOR TAEJU LOL.... there's no real canon background info on him, so i've taken full liberties on this ok LOL)

tw: child abuse, murder, manipulative behavior

the world had never shown taeju any kindness.

i believe (and already have a 10 page very detailed word doc about this LMAOOOOO) taeju probably experienced unimaginable loss and pain while growing up. below are the basic points summed up:

i think he had terrible abusive + neglectful parents. i think he lost his one and only younger brother, whose death taeju feels solely responsible for. i think he once thought he could be a taekwondo olympic medalist (you can tell in his fight scenes he has strong taekwondo background and isn't your typical street brawler), but his pro athlete career is sabotaged by the coach he was supposed to trust above anyone else.

the adults in his life showed him, every single chance they got, that they're all pieces of trash. they all used him, chewed him up, and spat him out.

there was never a single adult who did the right thing. there was never a single adult who saved taeju, when he needed saving the most.

(during his fight scene with jiwoo, there's a scene where you can see them standing in the mirror. it's one of the only scenes you ever see them in the same shot together. i think they were actually probably mirrors of each other. so similar in their pain and loss and hurt. betrayed by the world, shown no kindness, exposed to every single depraved human thing the adults in their lives could come up with. they were one in the same.)

and how did mujin convince jiwoo to become his dagger? he was there for her. he rescued her. when every other adult in the room FAILED her, he was there. strict, unforgiving, and cruel. but kind in his cruelty, still.

i think it was similar for taeju.

mujin is so good at recognizing what someone needs, what they're desperate for.

mujin was there, when taeju's taekwondo coach screwed him over and manipulated him and then ultimately destroyed all chances of him becoming a medalist by intentionally injuring him to knock him out of the game -- all because there was a richer kid with a better background and a better "tv personality". the only thing taeju had ever been good at had been taekwondo, and now he couldn't even do that. mujin helped him stand back on his feet when he felt he had no more purpose in life.

and then when taeju's younger brother wooju dies at the hands of their abusive father and taeju is falling apart, believing it’s his fault -- if he had been home, he could've stopped this. if he hadn't been off chasing this stupid pipedream of becoming an athlete, he could've saved wooju. it's his fault. it's all his fault -- when taeju was spiraling like this, it was mujin who arrived at the hospital. it was mujin who helped him fill out the paperwork, who helped him carry wooju's ashes to his grave site.

when taeju goes back for revenge and kills his own father in a fit of anger and grief and sadness -- how could you do that to wooju?? -- mujin is the one who cleans the blood off of taeju's shaking, trembling hands. who makes sure that there's no evidence, no case to be made against him. taeju is never convicted of the crime because mujin makes sure he's safe. mujin takes care of him. the organization will always protect their own, taeju. i will never betray you.

and that's when taeju joins. he's 17. just like jiwoo, when she joined. just like mujin, when he joined too. it’s sad, isn’t it? 17 is too young for this kind of pain. it's so unfair that he had to experience so much by then.

but... after joining dongcheon, mujin gives him purpose again.

he gives taeju jobs, tasks, goals. he praises him. he disciplines him. he teaches him. all the things that the adults in his life were supposed to do -- his parents, his teachers, the police and authorities -- every single person who had failed taeju so horribly... mujin made up for them all.

mujin also... gives him brothers again. taeju is tasked with training up new cadets. he builds bonds, relationships. it's a brotherhood, in the muscle house. even when dongcheon is huge and raking in $$$, taeju doesn't bother moving into the hotel. he continues to live upstairs in the muscle house, because he wants to be around them. wants them to know that they have him -- a dependable adult now -- in their lives.

(you can see how invested he is in them + how much he cares for them when taeju forfeits his upperhand during gangjae's ambush. gangjae fakes him out, making as if he's gonna hurt one of taeju's closest men, and taeju gives up. immediately drops his weapon and says stop!!!! gangjae always knew how to get under his skin. he knew that taeju cared too much. he knew that taeju wouldn't let him hurt one of his brothers like that, right in front of him, for no reason. .............it also prob pissed the shit out of gangjae in that moment too because -- why the fuck didn't taeju stop mujin, then, from hurting gangjae so many years ago? but i digress lol that's a story for another day if anyone's interested ahahah)

SO YEAH............. mujin gives him a life again. gives him purpose, gives him a family, gives him stability. when every single adult had failed him, choi mujin was the only person who never lied to taeju. who never abused him for no reason, who never abandoned him, who never took advantage of him. choi mujin was honest and forthcoming and never once tried to hide his cruelty or his true intentions.

he convinced a young, impressionable taeju that this was love. that this was loyalty. that this warped view of commitment to the doncheon family was what a real family looked like. this was the only sincerity that taeju was ever shown.

and so taeju, just like jiwoo, fell for it.

he lived for it. and then he died for it too.

so in short? choi mujin had never disappointed taeju. ever. and so taeju refused to ever disappoint him also.

...a part of me wants to release all this backstory i have thought up for taeju but idek if anyone would be interested LOL OH WELL

but the darkish red bites along your neck are as clear as day, no matter what way you do your hair

you’re more than embarrassed, as today was supposed to be your big introduction and announcement to all of the cultivation world as the fiancee to the Jin Lanling sect leader

but said sect leader

may have had too much fun talking with you last night

you let out an annoyed huff, too busy working around the different styles of hair that can cover your open neckline to notice your fiance enter the bedchambers

only when soft hands part your long hair from the back of your head and lay them over your shoulders do you notice that you are no longer alone

“i can’t believe you,” you mumble out to Jin Ling only to continue to pout when he lets out an amused laugh

“well, no better way to announce our marriage, right?” Jin Ling teases and you roll your eyes, turning around to glare at him in return

but Jin Ling is unintimidated, even going so far as to lean in to steal an extra kiss

but you put a hand over his mouth, leaning in as close as you can

(but never enough)

you place the gentlest, most teasing, kiss on the tip of his nose

and turn away to leave, your hair parted by his hands

Lan Sizhui

the hands that are currently wrapped around you are warm, skin only separated by your inner robes

“how am i supposed to change with you like this, hmm? A-Yuan?” you ask gently,

you feel the smallest press of lips at the nape of your neck, a response that lingers and then moves up to all the ticklish spots that Sizhui had always known well

it’s an enticing predicament that you are in, but your meeting with his fathers, Hanguang-Jun and the Yiling Patriach give you enough of a mind to wiggle of out of his grasp, lest he continue like he did last night with his heated kisses on your body

“hey, naughty boy, don’t add any more,” you tell Sizhui, turning in his hold to stare at him,

when you meet eyes with him, he doesn’t seem too convinced to listen to your words

you pout at him

“i’m already embarrassed enough as it is...meeting your fathers like this” you admit

and you see the way that his eyes lighten with a softness that only you could cause in them

“you know, you make it really hard not to,” Sizhui admits, and sometimes the words that he uses with you make you breathless

you blink at him,

“well you’ve got to try, don’t you?” you tell him

and Sizhui feels winded by the wide doe eyes that you always use to stare at him

he takes in a small breath, leans in to press a long reminiscing kiss against your lips

when he leaves your lips, slowly, longingly,

he feels that that should be enough to sate him

for now

Xiao Xingchen

“Daozhang,” you say, warningly

the man that answers to that only huffs a small laugh, though he still stands immensely close to you as you’re dressing yourself for the discussion conference meeting waiting for you just outside the wooden door

you let out a light disbelieving laugh as your eyes hover the red and pinkish hues at the bottom of your neck

who would have thought that some one as “bright as the moon with the gentleness of a breeze” was capable of well

whatever happened to your entire neck and shoulders

anyways

when you look at yourself in the mirror, you catch Xiao Xingchen’s eyes linger on the neckline of your robes

you let out a little breath at him then, meeting eyes with him in the mirror

you watch him as he reaches a strong arm around your shoulder, moving your robes just a slightest bit higher, covering the pinkish tint of your skin as best as he can

his gentleness in moments like this, surprise you, considering the way that you both were last night (lmaooooo)

but with the way that his hand smooths your robes, fixes the wrinkles and brushes off the non-existent dust from your shoulders

it brings a small smile to your face, a shy look despite how well you both know each other

from behind you Xingchen returns your smile,

feeling the butterflies for each other all over again

Xue Yang

you turn your neck to the side, staring at the colors littered all across your skin, the different shades and hues

your hands linger slightly, still careful of the gingerness that you feel

if you turn your neck a certain way, you can still feel the sting and heat of the bites against each inch of your skin...

“pretty?” a deep voice interrupts your thoughts

you startle slightly at the close proximity of Xue Yang’s lips against the shell of your ear

once you regain yourself, you let out a huff as you turn to look at him, an annoyed eyebrow raised at him,

“what will the other cultivators think when i go to the conference later?” you ask, not necessarily to him but more so a thought to yourself,

“that you have a very dedicated lover,” Xue Yang answers anyways and you take in a deep breath and turn to meet eyes with him

catch that annoying, infuriatingly handsome way that he has with his devious smile

“my lover might very well cost me a fine for public indecency,” you tell him bluntly and that gets a very unattractive snort out of Xue Yang in response,

“then don’t be indecent in public, just stay here with me,” Xue Yang persuades, and you’re angry at yourself that it’s kind of working

but you have a conference to attend

a time and place to be

a name to clear

when you share a look at him, you lean in for one final kiss, one that is long and leaves your breathless

but gives you all the strength that you need to depart

For the people who wanted my ages-long 3adv character design thoughts because I think about these guys wayyy too much I'll talk about each character individually and then slowly put my comparison/merged thoughts together (I'll put it all under the cut! I warn you, it's looong)

- For context, I like color theory. I like analyzing colors and their meanings, and I know basic things about contrast and values and hue stuff - that being said... - Graham coloring process my beloathed :,) I love the guy with all my heart but my goodness the colors - I'm constantly changing them because I struggle with the contrast so much - (to the point I actually changed the colors in the current piece I'm working on. The ref is already outdated lmaooooo) - it looks nice but all the colors blend together and it makes me mad lmao wHY ARE ALL HIS COLORS CLOSE TOGETHER- - - ...does anybody else have this problem or am I overreacting - - ...anyways rant over - for the fun stuff I love, shape language! And especially figuring out face shapes. - Graham is very circles. Rounded lad! Shaped like a friend. A lot of his angles I rounded out (including the ones for his eyes which I'll get to later) - but he's also made of rectangles! Especially in his cape, which I feel sorta balances him out with how lanky and top-heavy he is. - Graham has a very limited amount of triangles, to keep his design easier to read, but with the triangles he does have they're put to use! - Case in point: adventuring cap - Which, in addition to being an important part of his character, is symbolic shape-wise! Oops, all triangles! (while the feather is rounded because friend shaped) specifically grounded triangles. - Grounded triangles symbolize being... well, grounded! It's like being a square, having the base rest on the ground, but with the action and adventure of a triangle! - You see where I'm going with this? - It also stands out since it's a cool color among mainly warm colors! The blue helps separate all the warm reds and browns. - Talking about the hat color reminds me about that little convo I had with some friends on how the cape is very deep and saturated while everything else is desaturated (so the cape stands out) - His cap, with how it's tilted, kinda reminds me of like... Cars? And how the air sorta flows over it? - I gave him some more rounded off sorta saggy shoulders, a longer torso, and a bit of a narrower torso width because it makes him feel a slight bit younger.

- Link lonk - I don't have as many thoughts on his design as I would have liked, but he's mostly more of a blank slate sorta character that encompasses most versions of Link? Key points were to include all the iconic parts of his surface-level design (green, hat, blond) and sorta work from there. - I'm a very big fan of 3adv link tho! Has a very nice personality to explore. Protective hero! - Link is heavily triangles. From his hat to his stance, he is very action-oriented and very sharp n pointy. - He is mainly rectangles & triangles! Imbalanced triangles are a bit more top-heavy and often jump headfirst into things (Say a... pit, for example) while balanced triangles are grounded and reasonable. - Link gets both, as a treat. :) - His color palette is very foresty and the dark blue contrasts quite well! - I was actually contemplating making his scarf one of the only main rounded parts of his design because friendship scarf, but I got scared it wouldn't blend well with the rest of the design lol, so it's got more angles like I usually do with folds. - I'm a very big fan of playing around with body types, even if I don't do it often. Link has a more confident stance, with a bit more muscle than the other two - With Link's eyes I'm not actually sure why I chose the semi-cat eyes? Maybe cuz they seem a bit more focused. - I actually did a 3adv drawing before this with the lads as Cookie Run Kingdom designs, and I really liked the idea that Link's hair was herbal leaves, so I kinda incorporated that idea to the shape design with the hair

- Guybrush Wheatstick time - Guy is very rectangles but not super rectangles? I wanted to balance it out with triangles because he's a playful sorta guy. Tried rounding out a lot of his angles but not exactly all of them. - To balance the rectangles and triangles I decided on a compromise: Trapezoids! - His body type is the sorta upsidedown trapezoid/triangle type but under the clothes he has slightly slanted shoulders! His coat makes him look a lot sharper and confident, which I love in character design. - I really like the baggy clothes lmao - I think I made his hair more wavy than he actually is in-game lmaoo - Which fits in with the fact I wanted to continue that sorta playful squiggle motif. He's less serious, but he's angled and square! Also feels more pirate-y - In terms of eyes, I continue the rectangle/trapezoid thing again. These eyes are actually harder to draw traditionally lmaoo but that's cuz they're tilted at a slight angle. Makes it easier to do perspective tho(?) - I like Guy's palette a lot, I think the only thing I struggle with is the hair tie's color because it looks weird to me but it's the same sorta red as the coat lmao? - and the darkness of the belt because I wanted it to contrast the rest of the outfit lol - I just like the fact Guy's ears are wider/placed differently - They all have a different shape that they're based around (Graham is circles, Link is triangles, Guybrush is rectangles) but they share bits of eachothers' shapes to show they're part of a group! - Additionally they share similar colors to show they're part of a group (Reds and blues, buncha blue-eyed bois) - Occasionally I'll go through a crisis of like "damn this character is too similar to this other character's design" and then I realized I was overthinking things and literally nobody is gonna confuse Alexander to Link Anyways that's thoughts! Or at least the ones I think of off the top of my head.

Hello! I’ve recently seen the argument that e/riel will happen because the acotar spinoff books are in the adult romance genre (compared to the acotar books being put in ya), and adult romance books don‘t pull a “bait and switch” with love interests the way ya/na books do. Instead, adult romance books supposedly only put effort into developing one couple and will pull through with that couple until the end.

Tbh I don’t read much adult romance - usually just ya or adult fantasy - so I’m not sure how true this is, but I thought this argument was interesting because it literally would disprove e/riel lol.

Like if you look at the entire acotar series, then Elain and Lucien were mates before there was any indication of anything between Azriel and Elain. So then it would make sense for them to be the couple that will be endgame. And Az/Elain will be resolved without a huge romantic subplot because they really don’t have serious feelings for each other, it’s just following a pattern with the way Azriel attaches to unattainable women to avoid rejection and Elain trying to avoid the problems and feelings she needs to face by latching onto the ‘safe’ option.

And even if you are only looking at acosf since it’s the only book classified as adult romance from the beginning, then Az/Gwyn have more interactions throughout the entire story than Elain/Az. Like I guarantee if someone read acosf without reading the previous books, they would think Gwynriel would happen - especially with reading how the bonus chapter ends with Az thinking of Gwyn, not Elain.

I also think it’s interesting that e/riels claim it will happen because of their development, when in fact, the reason they probably won’t is because of their complete lack of development.

Sure, Az/Elain may be a bit farther along in the sexual attraction phase, but that’s it. They’ve been stuck in this limbo for 2 or 3 books? Nothing in their dynamic has changed. At all. That’s not development. They went from being polite acquaintances to polite acquaintances with sexual attraction. There is no indication that any deeper connection between the two has formed. Maybe some romances start off that way, but that’s just not how SJM writes. Even with Nesta and Cassian, there was actual development through acomaf and acowar and acofas before they got together in acosf. Nesta and Cassian go from hating each other, to Nesta revealing one of the most traumatic events of her life to him (the attempted SA), to saving his life because she realized she didn’t want to live without him, to becoming emotionally distant again over winter solstice, etc. You can actually chart the progress of their relationship - if you did with Elain and Az, it would just be a straight horizontal line.

Elain and Lucien have actual relationship development, even if they aren’t quite as far along yet. Their dynamic has shifted - from Elain avoiding him, to seeking him out, both of them going from being wary of the other to inquiring about the other’s wellbeing, etc (I don’t remember all of the elucien moments since it’s been a while since i last read the series, but I distinctly remember noticing changes in their relationship).

Hello! Sorry this took me a few days to get to! I think I know what discussion sparked this, and I gotta say that people need to understand that genres are a suggestion, not a rule book!

First off, the adult/YA distinction is about audience, not content. There is no "YA genre" or "adult genre". There are books intended for adult readers that could be of multiple genres, and there are books intended for younger readers that could also consist of multiple genres. I read a widely across both audiences and multiple genres.

Anyone who tries to say "but in adult romance this one specific thing always happens!" Well, no. Romance is probably one of the most rule-bound genres out there right now because readers want 1) consent, and 2) a happily ever after or the implication that it is to come. However, there are people currently writing romance, and they call it romance, where even those basic conventions are played with or ignored. Sometimes reader get mad, but that doesn't mean the writer is banned from using the phrase "romance" or else they will be thrown in RWA (Romance Writers of America) jail. There are multiple tropes, character types, story lines, there could be fantasy, it could be contemporary, it could be historical. And back in the day, consent was very dubious in romance, a lot of the time. I remember sneaking my mom's books. My point is that genres change, constantly, because of the stories that writers want to tell, and the stories that readers want to read.

Now granted, I don't read much YA romance because... I'm a grown ass woman. I've outgrown it, tbh. However, I wonder if people are referring to "bait and switch" in the way that sjm changes love interests? Because I haven't seen that as a "feature" of YA romance in particular. In acotar and ToG, the love interests changed not to trick the reader or make us off balance, but to reflect how the characters were growing.

There is literally nothing about romance as a genre that says that a love interest cannot change, and even if that were one of the major tenants of the genre that people expect, writers could still say "fuck this imma do it" because... genre is a guide, not a rule.

I agree with all of this. I also agree that it would work against the people who originated this argument to say "this ship has existed longer and so that's why people expect it or it should happen, because X genre says so".

1) This is not strictly romance, it's fantasy romance

2) Elucien were mates and a ship in the fandom months before e*riel were so this argument does seem self-defeating

3) There are zero rules that prevent sjm from fucking around with e*riel and then finding out they are poorly suited

4) Even if this were a regular ol' romance, there is no reason why a character can't have multiple partners so long as the HEA is still there or implied, if we're all gonna get up our butts about following romance conventions

5) Adult romance standalones do typically focus on one couple. However, that is not a guarantee. See: genre as a guide. I can think of multiple off the top of my head where an MC is in a relationship with someone else at the beginning of the book, or where the ex is a very recent, not quite dealt-with factor. acotar - I can't believe I have to write this - is not a standalone. Even if this spin-off series is described as following separate couples, it is a series, and the plot and character development don't just sprout out of nowhere in book five or six.

6) Genre theory is a thing, people can look it up! I am tired of typing haha

Summary: kuroo thinks it’s time for you to meet his father and grandparents.

Warnings: pure fluff lol, maybe crack

- you had been dating for a while, and kuroo surprised you one day after school, asking on your walk home if you wanted to meet his family

- of course, you were nervous, but you said yes and said you couldn’t wait to meet them

- only, you didn’t realize how early he meant when you agreed

- his house was close to yours so you two walked home together every day, but when he kept dragging you past your street, you were confused

- “where are we going? my house is that way...”

- “my house.”

- “why? I thought we were going to mine.”

- “my dad should be home from work, today is his day off and my grandparents are home.”

- “oh. oH. OH.”

- you were lowkey more nervous knowing you’d be meeting them today, I mean who wouldn’t?

- you were only in your school uniform and yes although it was formal in a sense, you would’ve liked to freshen up and at least look presentable

- “tetsu... my outfit-”

- “what about it?”

- you stared at him in astonishment as you kept walking side by side. his family wouldn’t mind would they?

- when you didn’t elaborate anymore and kuroo turned back straight, you realized your assumptions were right

- your nerves only increased though as you got closer and closer, and when you were in front of his house, you could no longer speak coherent sentences

- kuroo just reassured you that his family was super chill, and if you were comfortable enough around him, then you would feel the same around his family

- as soon as you stepped into the house, you smelt the most delicious stew ever. it instantly made you feel warm and cozy, and forget your worries

- surprisingly, you found kuroo’s father in the kitchen, cooking said delicious stew

- he greeted you with a warm smile and a hug, as if you were his daughter...it was comforting

- his father was a very tall man, like your boyfriend, most likely where he got his height from

- you sat stiffly at the dining table, fiddling with your hands under the table

- kuroo had left you in the kitchen to change out of his uniform and get you more comfortable clothes, the silence was kind of awkward as you waited

- the silence was interrupted though when an older man spoke, he was standing right beside you, eyes staring at you intently

- “wanna hear a joke?”

- “dad, leave her be, i’m sure she doesn't want to here you’re jokes.” kuroo’s own father had said, addressing the old man

- “sure she does! she looks intrigued!!”

- ohhh this is where it was going-

- another science geek lmaoo, your boyfriend also got that from his family

- “why did the white bear dissolve in water?” asked the old man

- “uh, i’m not sure I understand sir, i’m not very good at science-”

- “because it was POLAR!”

- and with that he broke out into laughter, laughing at his own joke

- your boyfriends father just lowered his head, shaking it in disappointment

- “i’m sorry about that, y/n... my father is very persistent with his dead jokes.”

- you couldn't help but laugh at this family dynamic

- “it’s alright sir, i’m used to it. kuroo says those kinds of jokes ALL the time... any chance he gets really.”

- you met the last member of the family when kuroo was helping his grandmother down the stairs, we stan a sweet GENTLEMAN

- kuroo’s grandma was the sweetest woman you'd met. she was always trying to feed you well throughout the dinner

- after you finished your plate, she was still trying to give you more, even after dessert

- “are you sure you’re full? tetsurou told me you also play volleyball, so you must burn a lot of calories and fat! you must eat!!”

- you were more surprised that your boyfriend had told them about you, instead of her persistently trying to feed you

- “o-oh, don’t worry ma’am, i’m quite alright.”

- “NO!” legit the older woman would NOT accept it

- “sweetheart, leave her alone! she doesn’t want our sons disgusting food, alright? i’m surprised she even stuck around for dessert...” kuroo’s grandpa is SASSY and we stan

- “dad!”

- kuroo was snickering too himself beside you, cue hyena laugh

- “grandma, i’m sure she appreciates it, but she’s full.”

- the rest of the night went smoothly

- kuroo and his father were snickering in the corner, watching as kuroo’s grandpa and grandma continued to tell you chemistry jokes and offer more food

- it was very fun and all the nerves had gone away easily

- you weren’t laughing at the jokes really, more so laughing at the fact that kuroo was so similar to his grandpa, and the fact that both grandparents seemed very very persistent

- now it was nearing ten in the evening, and you had to get home soon

- “HEY PLAYBOY!” came the old man, stopping kuroo from walking you out

- you couldn't help but giggle at his grandpa's name for kuroo

- “come back soon. my son and wife don't appreciate my jokes as much as you do, and it’s no fun when playboy here tries to outshine me in my own house with jokes.”

- LMAOOOOO THIS FAMILY EYE-

- “i don't think she was laughing with you, i think she was laughing at you.”

- you smacked kuroo’s back, reassuring the fuming old man that you would be back soon if everyone was happy with it, and that although you didn’t get the chemistry jokes, you enjoyed his persistance

- you had almost been out the door when....

- “TETSUROU,” kuroo’s grandma had screeched. “be a gentleman and walk her home!”

“i was going too, but i can’t seem to get out the door-”

- tbh, she really only stopped kuroo to stall him from leaving, she was still trying to give out food

- "here are some sweet treats. you can have them, they’ll just get thrown out here.”

- “ma’am, thank you, but-”

- she was stuffing your school bag with food before you could even stop her, she just kept filling it and filling it without shame

- “grandma...”

- “quiet!”

- “uh, thank you ma’am... i’ll make sure to eat these, i appreciate it.”

- as soon as you gave them each a warm smile and gentle goodbye, kuroo quickly grabbed your hand and began walking you down the street

- "sorry about that. my grandparents are very persistent, and my dad is-”

- "don’t apologize. I think you’re grandparents are the cutest, and your father is so kind, he made me feel at home.”

- "i love them already."

- kuroo may or may not have pissed his pants, out of happiness of course

- he wasn't worried about you meeting them, because they were so much like him that he knew they'd love you

- he was just very happy. you were the first girl he's taken seriously, and ever brought home to meet his folks and he felt so warm uwu

- “so... you'll be back?”

- “of course! i have to bring the tupperware back, don’t i?”

- lets just say he brought you around everyday and you had so much fun with his chaotic family

How long will they last? - forever obviously

How quickly did/will they fall in love? - As we know they liked each other for a very long time and then got together right before they went to college. But I think it wouldn’t be until the 2nd semester of their first year of college that they drop the L word (maybe during their first summer together as a couple). They definitely love each other longer than that (they’ve always loved each other in some sort of way) but I always think they’d take their time with everything because “we have forever”

How was their first kiss? - The first kiss they had that they remembered was amazing and sweet

WEDDING

Who proposed? - I go back and forth on one hand I wanna say it was for sure Phineas, but I could also see Isabella doing it too

Who is the best man/men? - Ferb was Phineas’s best man obviously. With Buford and Baljeet being groomsmen. And of course Perry is the ring bearer

Who is the braid’s maid(s)? - the fireside girls were Isabellas bridesmaids and Gretchen was her he maid of honor. (I also think Candace would be a bridesmaid).

Who did the most planning? - They both equally planned, but it was Candace who planned it the most.

Who stressed the most? - You’d think it’d be Isabella, but shes actually really calm throughout the planning process. Phineas on the other hand is a bumble of nerves because everything has to be perfect for Isabella in his eyes. (Even tho to Isa marrying Phineas is already more than enough for her)

How fancy was the ceremony? - They had the biggest craziest wedding outta all their friends. But that was mostly the reception part. The actual ceremony itself was very private and intimate with only their family and closest friends. Though it did have its own Phineas Flynn flare to it still.

Notes and Observations

Those shots of an empty world looked weirdly remniscinet of early shots of the pandemic.

Their differing reactions to what happened to the world is fascinating to me: Dean, accepting. Sam, disbelief. Jack, mourning.

Sam saying that he was the one to resist in *chefs kiss*. Goes back to his role as the rebellious one, albeit in a very different context.

This is a personal reaction but the scene where Sam and Dean “give up” to Chuck is like...weirdly similar to my pre season 15 fic I wrote lmaooooo.

That dog was so CUTE and him disappearing broke my HEART okay. Would’ve loved them to have gotten a dog 😭

The Lucifer & Cas fakeout got me. I will say it’s interesting that this is the second time they’re mistaken for each other (the first time of course being when Lucifer possessed Cas in S11).

NEVER trust Lucifer. EVER.

Michael: 2. Lucifer: 0. In case you were keeping count.

Was that a reference that Sam remembers some Enochian? Because I’ll take it.

There’s something really sad about how desperate Lucifer and Michael are for their Father’s approval. At the end, they didn’t change or learn. It’s still a tragedy, in every sense.

The getting back up and not giving up despite being beaten down by God...very in your face and very in brand for the theme of the show.

I was NOT expecting that twist!! Jack!!!! I’m so proud of him!! And they played EVERYONE I loved it!!

“See, that’s not who I am” was nice but I wish it was a case of showing us instead of telling us. Like having Dean wrestle with violence throughout the season. Oh well.

I do like that they kept him alive. They chose mercy, like Sam at the end of season 2. But this time, it’s the right thing to do. Love it. I will say too that last scene of Chuck screaming at them as they drive away...powerful.

WHY DIDNT THEY HUG JACK?? This felt like they were seeing their kid off to college or something...really sad. I did like Sam got the goodbye statement.

Is it just me or did Sam flinch when Dean touched his shoulder?

THE FLAHSBACKS MADE ME CRY DAMMIT. The fact that they ended on the last shot from the pilot....GODDAMIT.

This was kind of a...retread of Swan Song, huh? Lucifer and Michael and God against the Winchesters, and they win by playing them against each other. But this time, they both survive...for now at least. I appreciated that.

Implications for the future

So that “leak” is most likely wrong! Some good news at least.

Jack...so much to say here. I’m so proud and happy that he became God: it makes sense. He defied everything he was supposed to be, what everyone told him that he was. He’s the epitome of “it doesn’t matter what you are, it only matters what you do.” He’s the ultimate good now. I hope he’s able to find happiness this way. I’m upset he doesn’t get to be a kid for longer, or get to stay with his family. But maybe in some ways, he is? He’s God now, so he’s with everything and everyone. I hope they can feel his presence from time to time. Also loving the implication that Sam and Dean and Cas as well have raised the next God and are therefore the fathers of the new world.

Only one episode to go! It’s crazy that we’ve already gotten to this point. And this ep REALLY felt like the finale. What I’m concerned about, however, is how they’re going to end it from here. Because this ending, both brothers driving off together into the sunset, is wonderful. However, because this episode ended in this way, I don’t think that the next one will, because I don’t know if they’ll repeat this ending. So, what could this mean about how the entire show will end? Maybe not on a happy or hopeful note, and that really concerns me.

What are some things they don’t agree on?

It’s usually just little things like where they go out to dinner one night or whose music they listen to in the car. There isn’t any like really significant things they disagree on and even if there was Carson and Auston are very much so a couple that respects each other’s thoughts in opinions regardless of what they were unless you know they were like morally incorrect. And a lot of the things they didn’t agree on have changed over time too like a big one was that in the earlier years of their relationship, if someone had asked Carson if she’d ever move to Arizona she’d probably say no. She had no desire to leave Toronto but over time and as her relationship evolved with Auston that changed. Arizona really grew on her and also after moving in together with Auston in Toronto was also when Carson started spending the entire summers in Arizona with him and now later on with Mia and everything, she loves that Mia gets to grow up in Toronto but is very much so on the same page as Auston about and loves that she gets to grow up in Arizona too

Which member is more verbally affectionate?

Oh they both are. Literally all the time complimenting each other and just expressing their love

(I literally googled flirting styles cause I had no idea what to say lmaoooo but here’s the link if you want a better description BUT) I’d say it’s the sincere type for both Carson and Auston. Like what started their flirting was getting to know each other. They were friends first but like they each took the time to really get to know each other and wanted to do just that. That was how they got comfortable and then eventually progressed into more. When Auston really wanted to make it known that he had feelings for Carson that definitely progressed into physical flirting especially leading up to when they hooked up for the first time

Which member steals borrow the other ones clothing?

Carson definitely does it more often because she loves wearing Auston’s clothes with how baggy they are on her and how they smell like him. But Auston steals Carson’s beanies a lot lol. She freaking loves beanies and has a whole bunch of different kinds and brands and so Auston will just pick one out that he feels like wearing. Also there was this one pair of really nice sweatpants that Carson bought that were too big for her but she wore them as comfy maternity pants when she was pregnant with Mia and then after Mia was born and Carson got down to her regular size she was so upset because she loved those sweatpants but they’d always start falling down on her unless she tied them and also the legs were always a bit too tall for her but these pants fit Auston perfectly and are so comfortable so he took them

This one’s pretty 50/50 because they both looooooove cuddling

You know… fun Zion Canyon trip!! (credit for this one goes to Dany cause I don’t have good ideas but the whole ordeal would actually happen pre-game, because that’s when the courier would most likely sign up for a caravan I think)

Audrey thought Follows-Chalk was just messing with her when he said who they were gonna meet, no way this guy is still alive. Needless to say she hates him, she’s heard enough horrendous things about him in her NCR days to form her opinion. He didn’t like her much either aaaghhh how can you see through my fake atonement thing where I’m basically doing the same as before. (she doesn’t really see through it initially, she’s just too stubborn to buy the whole redemption arc thing from the beginning and ends up realizing that she just happened to be right). Understanding why she doesn’t trust him but also resenting that.

Who felt romantic feelings first?

fjjhdsjhd he does probably, vaguely. She has a much harder time accepting it considering his background and all that, so that came later.

YEAH! Both actually, enemies to vaguely friends to lovers and all that but like I said, Audrey has a much harder time coming to terms with this, she feels a little stupid about it because she knows what this guy has done!!! How did they first meet? What was their first impression of each other?

In the followers' camp, not long after she moved to Freeside :) iirc the King tells a story about how he went to the Followers Camp to seek help regarding Rex and ended up yelling at them and even knocking out a few doctors.. something similar, one of his guys got their ass beat and the King got impatient and asked why tf this is taking so long. And Diana told him to sit his ass down and wait, which resulted in an argument 🙄 As for the first impression. Diana thought he was just your typical annoying man, maybe sexy and in a cooler suit than the guys on the strip, but annoying nonetheless. And the King thought she was being rude and had a big mouth. But again, kind of in a sexy way.

Who felt romantic feelings first?

THE KING… pretty quickly actually. A few months after the argument they had at the old mormon fort. For Diana on the hand it took a little bit longer :/

Hm not really, but like I said Diana didn’t really fall that fast for him. She met him shortly after she left the Gomorrah (she was a dancer, not a prostitute but that doesn’t mean she hasn’t seen and experienced some shit) so she’s not really thinking about men and pretty much ignores him flirting with her (also he stops once he finds out about her past lol). She figures she likes him because they do have the same principles and something about being good people in a shitty world and all that so there’s a lot of admiration there, also their shared love for music and stuff. Georgie thought the mask looked fucked up and he seemed mysterious but well. She meets strange people every day so 🤷‍♀️ Also she thinks it’s kind of sexy. He thought she was a bit strange, but ig he liked her. She’s funny.
