SFW Dating David Loki headcanons!!

Oh boy, being with this man will be pretty rocky and take a lot of communication and patience tbh. He'll often be absent, late for dates, or have to reschedule them due to his demanding job as a detective.

I'd say David doesn't really have the time to create many deep relationships, mostly fleeting ones. A few one night stands here and there, but a rare occurrence none the less. He's not too into flings but he's a rather lonely person and still a man with needs if ya know what I mean 👀

But! Back to his absentness, let's say you're someone who's stuck around for awhile and understand his life style and him as a person more or less. He never enjoys cancelling on you or not being able to spend time with you. You're very important to him but he's also got a important job to do.

It'll stress him out a bit, he's a bit of a perfectionist and a pretty empathetic person in general. He'll try his damn best to make time for you since he does really appreciate you putting up with him and being one of the very few people he can be himself and relax around. Definitely feels like he doesn't deserve you, or just got really lucky. 💖

David's not picky with dates and definitely won't mind if its just you picking out places that you enjoy. He'll like doing whatever if its with you.

I'd say one of his favorite activities to do with you is travel if you're into such a thing. He likes exploring and learning new things about people and the world, especially the more positive aspects since he mostly sees the ugly side of humanity at work.

Another one would be going to see a movie or going to your home and cooking a meal for him whilst you listen to music or what have you. It's very comforting to him and relaxes him. Being with you and being close to you really is a nice get away from the harsh world out there, that waits for him every day. He also doesn't really cook for himself too often or has time to enjoy home cooked meals. He always loves your meals even if you're not the most fancy cook.

He'll sometimes try to repay the favor, he can be a pretty decent cook when he really tries.

He'll be very grateful if you're particularly understanding of his chaotic schedule and the strain it puts him through. He'll often try to hide how much a case is wearing him out of effecting him, wanting to for your sake.

That stress tic he has will often give it away though.

He'll be very soft with you and even a little dorky at times. David enjoys making you laugh with his dry/sarcastic humor. Seeing you smile or hearing your laugh is one of the highlights of his day.

So expect phone calls from him while hes at work pretty often. He likes to keep in contact with you to try and make up for when he's not there.

But there will be times where he won't call at all due to a particularly difficult or tasking case. He'll make it up to you though.

He always tries to make it up to you.

I'd say his love languages are mostly acts of service, words of affirmation, and physical touch.

The detective himself isn't a very clingy person but if you are, he'll very much enjoy it actually. He didn't have the best childhood nor youth and it may take a bit to break his walls down, but once he lets you in he'll take all that you'd want to give him.

For him I'd say he likes to hold you a lot. He's a very protective guy and it relaxes him to always have you in his arms, knowing you're there and that you're safe.

David's pretty flexible though. If you enjoy certain other things more he'll definitely take note of it. He's a very perceptive guy, being a detective and all.

Like say if you enjoy receiving gifts he'll enjoy getting you the things that you like. He wants you to know that he really does love you even if he can't be by your side all the time, so he'll often express that with his actions.

Now David is a very intelligent and logical guy, but also has a lot of internal fears that he tries to hide.

So when it comes to jealousy, I'd say he'd only get a little jealous if someone was able to offer you more than he could in the stability department. It's really one of his biggest regrets that he can't be there for you more often than he'd like to.

David likes to protect and to provide, so if another person appears that you begin to become good friends with and are able to spend more time with than him, he'll start to get afraid that you'll tire of him not being around and prefer the person who can be around more.

He trusts you, and doesn't blame you- he just doesn't want to lose you. I feel you'd either notice something was up and ask him about it, or he'd eventually wisen up and awkwardly bring it up.

I feel he'd just need some reassurance and he'd realise that he was being silly, then apologise to you; also probably asking how he can make it up to you as usual. 💕

David has a great ability at remaining calm and rational, and when it comes to you, even more so. I don't ever really see him raising his voice at you, even if/when you yell during arguments and fights.

He'd try his best to diffuse whatever was going on and be understanding. Or just wait until you let it all out and give you your space before coming back to talk to you more.

Depending on how bad the fight is, and he's the angry one, David would probably need some space as well. Probably go on a drive. It helps him think and calm down.

All in all, it'll be turbulent and may take time to get close to him depending on how you are, but once he's in- he's all in.

Loyal, dependable when it matters, understanding, paitent, and a great romantic partner.

Bajie being lazy but also has a point that they don't need to get the journey done in one day, they have to take breaks while Wukong says that slacking off would only worsen the journey but putting their own bodies at risk by pushing them to the limits won't help either. Also, just Wukong and Bajie bickering like old people makes me laugh.

Like Wukong says that only cares about Sanzang's safety here and I just love how that is going to change when Wukong takes responsibility for making sure all his brothers are safe as well. I thought these lyrics would describe Chrollo, but even though the reader has not found out Chrollo is her soulmate yet, Lmao, let's just say Chrollo went inside the building to steal or something along with the phantom troupe and there seems to be a concert, which turns out to be his own soulmates concert🤭

You didn't specify any particular au, so I went with one I've seen bouncing around on Pinterest from, like, Tumblr lol. I hope this is an entertaining read! It was a good lil break from the editing for me and p fun to write. Even if I am very rusty with hxh still. 😅😅

Also, I once answered an ask and said Chrollo is unlabelled and not picky, so I decided to shake things up by him going on a date with a dude here. I mean no ill harm with that, just thought it'd be a fun nod to that headcanon. Chrollo's sexuality is crime, nothing more lololol

Chrollo Lucifer did a lot of things for the spiders. From sleeping with someone to get his people a foot in the door of prime targets, to amoral killing. So, taking a man on a date to a concert was nothing new or challenging. Was it a date he particularly enjoyed? No, the dark-haired criminal was far more interested in reading than the squealing and screaming of fans over some vapid singer. Was this art collector his soulmate? No, Chrollo still saw the world as if he lived in some old noir murder movie, so he truly held no worth to him beyond the well-guarded goods his home held hostage.

Yet, there the ebony-haired thief stood. Swaying mindlessly to the opening act, pretneding to be interested in experiencing this man's favorite artist with him, internally counting down until he could politely suggest his date take him home to hook up.

However, the evening that Chrollo was almost certain would be highlighted by nothing except drunk, sloppy sex and a good heist was abruptly thrown into a centerfuge when that main attraction belted out her first note. "He is a hustler, he's no good at all~"

And the world imploded into color.

Of all the ways Chrollo lucifer had thought he'd run into his soulmate, on a heist was the most likely, yet the one he least desired. If he had it his way, he'd meet his destined beloved on one of his off days, when he was left to his books and thoughts. Yet, there was no denying it. With each word sang from the siren on stage, his world grew more vibrant and colorful. "He is a bad boy with a tainted heart, and even I know this aint smart~" She sang, flinging an arm over her eyes to match the drama of her words as she continued. And while, yes, Chrollo still didn't exactly enjoy the hysterics of the crowd or the shrill whistle of the music over the speakers, the sheer novelty of the clashing outfits and seeing things in such a new way washed that inhibition away.

Before he knew it, the thief was weaving through the crowd to get closer, as if magnetically pulled to the woman on stage. Naturally, followed by his date, but the man was pushed to the back burner for now. The only thing on the leader of the spiders' mind was getting closer to his soulmate and drinking in each and every one of the colors on her body. And, as if to reward that impulsive decision, the singer looked directly at him with a coy, almost knowing look when she sang, "He is a villain by the devil's law~ He is a killer just for fun, fun, fun, fun.~" Swishing her carefully-colored clothes with each flick of her hips to the words. "That man's a snick and unpredictable~ He's got no conscious he's got none, none, none, none.~"

It was such a brief interaction. One Chrollo was almost certain held no weight for the singer, as she was just as quick to flash a smile to the next eager man to move closer to her, but for Chrollo, her words were almost a message.

Chrollo'd complete his mission. He'd seduce this art collector, get into his house, rob him blind, and maybe kill him. But after that. After that, he would be certain to turn his entire attention to tracking down his soulmate. Those colors were just too nice to give up after just a simple taste.

Well, I don’t think I could tell you. What I know of myself is that I try to be honest, I am loyal to my friends and probably obsessive when someone shows me interest and i dont know- (there’s some mental disorders going around, along a suspicion of autism) Personally I see myself as a shy annoying brat, while in reality I don’t ever initiate conversation and never know what to say unless it’s about a hyperfixation or something—AGAIN I OVEREXPLAIN EVERYTHING. My mouth doesn’t work as well as I’d like to, I cry too much (imo) I’m sensitive to well a lot, I get overstimulated quickly depending on the situation and um well I’m a picky eater I guess.

RAHHH I LOVE FOOD. And I’m chubby. I’m VERY self conscious and messy (which I’m sure you’ve noticed if you got this far)

Fun fact! If i were to live alone (still living with parents because house market is hell) I’d probably forget to eat a lot/overeat even more than I already do. Why? Because I don’t feel it. I don’t feel a limit to my ‘hunger’ and I don’t even really think I feel hungry at times.

Also, I hate to be perceived by people. It makes me feel like… too much alive. I don’t really feel a connection between my mind and my body, like someone sees my body and I’m just: THAT AINT ME YALL PLEASE IT AINT MEEEEE 😭😭😭😭 but id never say that bc again, my mouth doesn’t work.

okay, disclaimer this is mainly my opinion cause im very picky for no good reason. this isn’t hate or anything, by the way.

one.) personalities. yes, i do blame personalities on setting, now this isn’t necessarily bout the nrc itself but the backgrounds of the characters.

the queen of hearts is not an exception to ‘we’re all mad here.’ i don’t think riddle should be as strict as he is, well actually, i think he is the right amount of strict but maybe he could be more insane?? not like a psycho, but yes psycho. i personally think that riddle would be much calmer and smiley, in a scarier way. he wouldn’t turn as red unless he’s upset, when flustered it’ll be a different kind of blushing. he probably won’t be easy to fluster, cause i don’t think he’d take compliments seriously. most he’d received were either mocking or forced, not really genuine. this has to do with my headcanon that the qoh killed her last lovers because of their ‘insincerity’ towards her, considering she’s mad i doubt she’s easy to genuinely love.

i haven’t watched the lion king, but i don’t think scar is actually asleep all the time. i know lions sleep a lot, but that’s because they already have everything. the ladies that bring food, shelter so forth. you could say leona has the same thing, but he doesn’t have the people’s respect. his brother has everything, if he’s like scar that should be something he wants. he wouldn’t sleep all the time, but plotting on how to get the one thing he doesn’t have.

hades sure as hell wasn’t shy in the slightest. he picked up persephone at a party and brought her home and kept her?? i’m not saying idia has to be a carbon copy, but i think (as heir to styx) he can survive without his little brother at his beck and call. if you want to look at the disney ver. HADES TOOK A GIRLS SOUL AND HAD HER SEDUCE A GOD SO HE COULD TAKE OVER THE HEAVENS!! bffr, idia aint shit.

i can go on in another post, these are three dorm leaders and things that stood out the most to me.

two.) it’s hard to see the characters that aren’t in the same dorm interact with each other. i know it happens in game but i just can’t picture anything other than it.

in the nrc, it feels as though everyone is competing with everyone. this probably is true to an extent actually, but in my mind it messes with the flow of dialogue. no one agrees with people out of their dorm (except maybe 1st years) and there is just constant bickering.

when writing im often forced to consider dynamics like this, which is near impossible if no one gets along! no new faces can show up, no new dynamics can be made... maybe im just being overdramatic.

three.) there's nothing to know about other character's backstories.

I LITERALLY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT LEONA RN TELL ME ABT RUGGIE!! each chapter, the dorm leader is the villain (jamil exception) so we only get to know about them. hate to say this, but that's boring asl.

we never get to a deep dive in ace or deuce or characters like that unless it's an event or something. new people won't be ble to learn their lore in the actual story (where it should be or at least in their cards, cause i can understand the story is already v long)

i hate having to look at the wiki for sprinkles of info about characters we talk to once or twice but do nothing for the plot (ehem, jack, you forgot him too huh.)

i could probably go on, but this already took way too long... sorry nonnie for making you wait months D:

Slightly long and possibly useless post:

Context: I'm trying something to help my anxiety, alike to exposure but not so frightening, so basically I'm looking for discord servers on fandoms I feel I can hold a decent conversation in.

I'm struggling to find some. Trying to not be picky, what I am looking for is:

Somewhere decently active in vc's

All ages (obviously 13+ due to discord ages)

Non-discriminatory (whether basic human rights or towards fandom opinions)

For that last part, I'm aware people get argumentative over fandom topics, that's fine, just like don't want to be in a place where someone gets bullied or harassed for, maybe not liking a character or a certain trilogy

I'm gonna write a list of fandoms I can talk about comfortably, and another list of fandoms I don't know two sticks about, I'd just really like recommendations

Also, nothing against roleplay servers, but i don't want to join roleplay centric servers, because that's just not what I'm looking for at the moment.

Sorry if anything seems unreasonable. Main points are, a friendly place that isn't roleplay centric and people actually use vcs or are open to.

Meet Doc’s kids!!

April’s hearing is really sensitive like loud noises make her cry because of her super hearing. April wears headphones as the tone out lots of sounds surprisingly her best friend is the loudest mother fucker Aran he actually fights people whenever April has her headphones off and has asked them to pipe down but that only if they don’t. April is a 20 year old girl who makes music for a living and is doing successfully as she started when she was 16! She learnt many languages as she wants her listeners not to feel left out at all.

April isn’t a picky eater while yes she may seem like it she just doesn’t get hungry often but Aran does force her sometimes. April is much more laidback and chil then her two siblings and dad but that’s doesn’t mind!! Her mom isn’t in her life but her step mom is the fucking best. April doesn’t trust people easily and takes time to get use to new people but if she starts the conversation that means she really wants to be your friend but will go slow. She isn’t a fighter just the extra referee if the original one is sick. she has a temper…but she’s really supportive!!

Asahi is a extremely supportive and motherly but doesn’t push boundaries at all. Asahi’s best friend would have to be Disco kid as their energy matches each other perfectly but if it wasn’t him then it would have been bald bull. It knows Turkish and English and ASL plus other sign languages. She isn’t a boxer but it works at build a bear surprising aint it(It’s not). Asahi was a bit of a mother figure for her siblings as she is a 27 year old Demi girl and is the oldest child of Doc but the most energetic of all of them.

Asahi will eat anything as it’s willing to learn more stuff! She is the most energetic and chaotic then all it’s siblings because of how adventurous she was. Their mom wasn’t in their life but their stepmom is the best and raised all of Doc’s kids so they all see her as mom and really love her!! Asahi is a social butterfly and makes lots of friends but when meeting them she is really calm as it doesn’t want to scare them. If she cusses at someone MAKE SURE IT DOESNT KILL THEM!

He daydreams often and is really sleepy. He isn’t a cheater and follows boxing rules and is a good sport! Vito doesn’t like speaking often and uses a notebook to speak sometimes but Don(yes he and Don are friends) will say what Vito wishes to if Vito doesn’t wanna write or talk that day. He also knows ASL. Vito makes friends but knows how long it will take by one look he’s really smart!! Vito always respects others and is willing to learn new things! He’s protective of his friends like really protective and fights for them

Im processing stuff rn. Im pretty sure two people irl have a crush on me and idk what to do about that. They are not making any moves tho. How do I start even TT. Its crazy, one is a 2 years younger girl than me so yeah its not happening cause im 18 soon and its weird. The second one is A GUY my age... damn... AND IRL??? WTH. It happened only once or twice in elementary school literally and by total outcasts that dont lesve their basements... Or maybe Im delusional but hes stalking my socials from a fake account at least 2 times a week... I know its him its obvious like fr... so silly. I figured it out already darling. I just saw your post about you feeling bad about your writing and I AINT LETTING THAT HAPPENㅡ

I'm a big bookworm and a very very very- and I mean VERY picky when it comes to reading certain books and fics. But you, Paula, just managed to captivate me with the way you write and describe certain situations and the feelings that come with it.

Yukishiro's character had such a hold on me the first time I saw him (aside from the visual aspect gsajdjsksㅡ). There are many ways people channel and show grief, I, for one think that grief is the worst feeling yet it also is a proof of love that continues but has nowhere to go; some people experience it silently, and would burst upon the smallest things. Some feel grief deeply, between the joy of having what they've lost for a certain point, to the sorrow of realizing it's gone. And then, there's Enishi who showed it raw and with fire. His grief of losing his sister is a reminder of who he was and who he became. I rarely come across people who wrote about him but you? You did not just wrote about him. You breathed life into his character and made him alive in your own way through your series. He isn't just the violent man we knew, he was funny, and flirty, and artistic, but he can be pessimistic at times, he's deep and he's also confused.

hi, 🌻 anon! nice to meet youuu. first off, i can't thank you enough for this sweet message. it genuinely gave me hope again a little and some emotional support that was really needed. i don't think i can thank you enough for dropping by like this.

secondly, the fact that you're a raging bookworm and you like my writing enough to sit through it is the biggest compliment i've ever gotten.

thirdly, you are so right about his character. it's what drew me to him in the first place and i just wanted to give him a space where he can be himself and enhance the tiny characteristics he was given in passing. in doing that, i myself fell in love with him as a person, crazy as it sounds.

fourthly, the fact that you said i breathed life into him made me cry for a good 20 minutes. it was a good cry though 🥹👍

fifthly, again, i can't thank you enough for coming by. it's made me come out of that perfectionist cave and look at the bigger picture. i will try to pace myself better and stop rushing everything (unis fault not mine).

I am starting to feel like myself once again, cleaned my room, out of my depression, managing my episodes and thinking clearer again. However i still believe we are eachothers twin flame since it took us splitting to become a greater version of ourselves.

Last night i was at a karaoke night with zach, buddie, and his friend paola. They played two of your favorite songs. Oye Mi Amor and Aint no fun. There were some good singers too you’d love it. I had fun listening to everyone sing their little souls out, good and bad.

All i could think about is how much i would love to show you what i am actually like. You said i was lame but i think thats only because we weren’t really able to do much. We aren’t so different you know. I love to dance and sing to anything, I love watching people have fun, making people have a great time. Zach says that we always say the same things and we do. We share the same though process, in which i am always reminded. Anyways, I wish i knew some bars we couldv’e gone to when we were planning on it. So many things left unsaid, undone.

You said i didn’t love you the way you though i did. Truth is i loved you more than you could even fathom to understand, I wouldn’t hesitate to show you how. I remember so much about you, I know so much about you. I was thinking about your little center tooth last night. Little miss tom cruise, haha. I also thought of how you do this little hop when you get excited or how you used to do a little wiggle.

Despite remembering all the good, i still think about the bad and how i felt/feel. We hurt eachother in different ways but the pain is at the same level. I still choose to love you. Your hipocricy, your prejudice, your small grudges and even your slight narcissitic traits. I saw all of them and still do, yet i still choose to leave a spot open in my heart for you. Our ending was too abrudpt, the chapter was meant to close yes but i feel that our story isn’t over. It may just be myself gasalighting myself again and no i won’t love bomb you again’; but its just a feeling per say. I still feel a connection to you sometimes. When i am sad i think you’re sad or when i am having a good time, i like to hope you are as well.

I am getting answers as to why i was the way i was, and why i did what i did. As they aren’t excuses, i just have something within myself that i can work on. Being self aware is the first step, and i now know/understand a lot more of my flaws. I know when you come back to me, I’ll be a better person. I have no walls up for you at all. I won’t hesitate to be nothing but truthful and loving to you. That being if you let me of course.

Let me take you to bar sometime, I’ll get you your strawberry daqueri? Daquiri? Don’t know how to spell it. Or we can act like strangers and ill pretend like i don’t know that you have to sleep with a light on, or that youre not a picky eater, or that you don’t like to swim. That youre a down to earth gal, love nature and walks, that your jaw was broken when you were a baby, that you loved going to church, that you had a husky, or that your favorite person passed and you remember him every anniversary. That you know how to make seafood, a delicious lemon pepper salmon. Or that you give the softest love anyone could ever feel. That you try new hobbies a lot, and want to have more things to do. You like to knit, that you had goals and ambitions of starting your own brand.

Not a day goes by where i think about how much i could give her now. I have a greater understanding of love, what it means, what it is to love someone. I don’t want to share that with anyone but her. I may not have much, but if i had six dollars and she needed five I’d have one.

She’s my person, I won’t find anyone that can meet her level. She’s my special person, the four leaf clover. I may not have been the best at showing her that, but if i could i would do it over and over and over again until she believes it.

I’ve forgiven myself and you, I have healed a lot more, come to terms. That doesn’t change the fact that I would take you back at any given moment. Whether it be now or a year later. Whenever you are ready and want to do this. I’ll be here making the best version myself for you, us, and i.
