Emotional

Summary: in which I continue to ask the question but what if no murder in season 3?

Warnings: Dick Grayson actually has emotions? shocking

Dick breathed a sigh of relief when he and Dawn returned to the manor to find Hank still alive. Superboy had managed to disarm the bomb and remove it, flying it out of the building mere seconds before Dawn had pulled the trigger that Jason had rigged to set it off. Dawn had collapsed in grief when she'd realized and now she was sobbing and apologizing to Hank, kissing him while he recovered in bed from the impromptu surgeries. Dick opted to let them have some privacy and focus his attention on finding Jason, ignoring the jealousy that threatened to surge forward as he headed down to the Batcave. Gar was using the Batcomputer when Dick entered the room.

"Anything interesting?"

Gar shook his head and turned to face him, "nah, Jason's gone off the radar again. You look like shit, did you even shower when you got home?"

Dick ran a hand through his hair and sighed, "no, I wanted to make sure Hank was okay first."

"How is he?" Gar asked and Dick shoved his hands in his pockets, crossing over to take a better look at the computer screen.

"Alive, thanks to Conner. But Jason's still out there somewhere and I need to find him before he does anything else."

Gar frowned, "I don't get it. What made him turn bad?"

The question kept echoing in his head as he showered. Jason had always been a good kid, a little hotheaded maybe, but never truly malicious. So what had made him into the violent sociopath he was now? He had no answer, no matter how much he tortured himself with the question.

He was towel drying his hair when he heard a soft knock on the door. He tensed momentarily, still on edge from the day's activities, but relaxed when he recognized Hank's voice.

"Hey, can I come in?"

"Yeah, sure," he called out, quickly finishing drying off and pulling on a pair of sweatpants.

Hank entered the room, looking better than he had before but still pale.

"How are you feeling?" Dick asked, yanking a shirt on as well.

"I've been better," Hank replied with a wry smile.

"Sorry, dumb question. Should you be up?"

"I haven't been able to be up, I'm fine. Besides, you still owe me that pizza." He joked and Dick cracked a grin.

"Don't think they deliver this late. I'll make it up to you tomorrow. How's Dawn?" Dick asked, sitting on the edge of the bed.

Hank's smile softened and he sighed, "she's better. Still shaken up but better."

Dick nodded and they lapsed into silence.

"I'm sorry. About all this," Dick said after a while, gesturing aimlessly.

Hank snorted. "The fuck are you apologizing for? You're not the one who put a bomb in me."

"I'm the one who asked you to come here in the first place, if it wasn't for me-"

"Fuck off, Grayson, I'm a big boy, I make my own decisions. If I didn't want to come help you out I wouldn't have. Besides, I'm the one who made the choice to go help the little shit without telling anybody because he pretended he needed someone. If anyone besides Jason is at fault for what happened it's me for letting him get the drop on me."

Dick was silent for a long moment before he spoke quietly, "I was worried about you."

Hank looked at him, eyebrows raised in surprise.

"I know we don't always see eye to eye but you're my friend and I was worried about you." Dick continued.

Hank didn't say anything, just looked at him for a beat before placing a hand on Dick's shoulder.

"I thought about when I hung up on you all fucking evening, wondering what if that had been the last time we'd talked and I hadn't even fucking said goodbye. We lost Donna and Jason and I didn't want to think about losing you too," Dick admitted, feeling exposed.

He couldn't remember the last time he'd laid his feelings out like this, the last time he'd ever been vulnerable with another person, probably the answer was never.

"Dick-" Hank started, squeezing his shoulder.

"God, Hank, I can't...I can't lose you." Dick muttered, massaging the bridge of his nose and forehead as though that could make the stress and uncomfortable vulnerability go away. He suddenly felt so incredibly tired and could feel a headache beginning as the day finally caught up with him.

"Hey, it's okay, I'm not going anywhere," Hank reassured him, sitting next to him and pulling him into a gentle hug.

Dick resisted for a beat before finally giving in and relaxing into the embrace, feeling the tension begin to drain out of him. They sat there for a long moment before finally pulling away and Hank gave him a small smile.

"Get some sleep, kid, you look like you're about to fall over."

Dick nodded and Hank let himself out, leaving Dick alone in the room. He sat there for a moment before finally lying down, his mind racing with everything that had happened. It was a long time before he finally fell into a fitful sleep.

Rando Titan Headcanons |

Notes: Since it’s almost Christmas I wanted to write some festive little headcanons I can’t stop thinking about.

Picking Out the Tree and Decorating it:

you would insist on putting up the christmas tree the day after thanksgiving.

you’d beg them all to come with you.

you wanting to pick it out as a family.

rachel, gar, connor, and dawn would be done to sweet talking needed.

but in order to get the others to join it takes some convincing.

kory would love the idea. she’s never had a christmas on earth before.

once arriving to the christmas farm, you told everyone to split up and look for the best tree.

of course no one could agree on a tree so you where the deciding factor.

back at the headquarters, you made the gang lug the boxes of christmas decorations you’ve collected over the years out of your room.

you start your playlist and smile, humming to have yourself a merry little christmas.

gar and rachel beginning to dance. dick looks at a very suprised kory and the two join.

the room fills with laughter, as hank grabs you throwing you over his shoulder as he starts to sway to the music.

once the tree is decorated, the lights plugged in.

you step back. taking a good look at the masterpiece in front of you.

you let out a sigh of content and try to stop the tears that threat to escape.

you haven’t had a proper christmas in years and this seemed to make you more emotional then you thought

Ice Skating:

much to your surprise it wasn’t you who convinced everyone to got ice skating.

rachel had talked gar into it and he forced everyone else to tag along.

while everyone was skating you realized that hank wasn’t doing so good.

the giant himbo was a little clumsy and he couldn’t keep himself up straight.

which resulted in him needing help. which almost caused you to fall right with him he held on to you for support.

you would be thrown into a fit of laughter watching him.

Cooking Christmas Dinner:

I can only imagine what it would be like to cook christmas dinner.

you’d be busting your ass half with rachel, gar, dawn and connor.

hank and dick would be sitting at the table, watching as you guys work.

beer in hands.

hank would steal things off and on as you prepare it.

you’d swat is hand away every few minutes.

it would drive you insane but you would still laugh and have a smile on your face.

jason would come down stairs while your finishing up.

he’d make some snarky comment about how we aren’t a real family so why are we pretending.

when in reality he’s actually loving it.

seeing how happy everyone, is enough to convince him.

but of course he’s going to fuss about it the entire time.

Also you maybe be asking why Gnarrk's entry is below instead of with everybody else. That's because Gnarrk was never a Titan in the first place. Sure, he appeared as part of the title and was there when the Titans West was formed but he never actually joined the team at all. Gnarrk becoming a Titan became a thing when he was introduced following the New 52.

Like excuse me sir, why are you dating a person who is the same age as your black haired (sometimes), blue eyed son and is also (in some alternate universes) his ex and is also kinda your coworker like hello????

Now do correct me if I'm wrong but the parallels make me hate Endeavor x Hawks even more (not more than batman x batgirl tho cause that is sometimes CANON)

I want this night to be unforgettable—a testament to how much you mean to me.

First things first, I had to find the ideal venue for this grand occasion. After considering various options, I settled on Wayne Manor's sprawling garden. The picturesque backdrop of flowers, the gentle whispers of the night breeze, and the moon's radiant glow would set the stage for a magical evening. Alfred, my trusted ally, graciously agreed to help with the preparations, and together, we transformed the garden into a hidden wonderland.

Next, the guest list. Choosing the right people to attend was essential. I wanted to gather your closest friends and family, people who have witnessed the depth of your kindness, strength, and compassion. I don't mean to be rude or offensive, I'm really just curious, are there any m/f ships you really like in mash or other fandoms?

oh that's not offensive in the least. i think what can get grating is when people are rude about "everything being about gay ships all the time" when i've made it pretty clear that there's a lot of gay stuff on my blog and if someone doesn't like it they can avoid me pretty easily.

so, a few things: 1) i'm relatively new to shipping and it doesn't rank high for me amongst things that draw me into a narrative or fandom - i am not dedicated to many ships in general.

2) even if i can logically 'see' a ship, i like to write smut so if i'm not turned on by the idea of these people fucking then i won't have more than a passing interest in them as a ship. i can be into a fic that uses sex to explore a dynamic without being into the sex itself, but it's not where the majority of my time is spent. that said, i've been in this MASH box so long I've produced fic i would've never dreamed of writing when i first started the show. see: infinite monkey theorum for why that might be lol.

in general, i wouldn’t say gender affects what appeals to me in a ship or a character. i like traphawk because of the nature of their relationship, not specifically because theyre both men, although in their case, the two of them being each other’s non trad partners is relevant to the anti-establishmentarian themes of the show. I dont think it would be half as effective, and therefore as impactful on me, if they were a het ship. their joint commitment to being little shits is why i love them so much together.

ANYWAY to actually answer your question: yes

within MASH i'm really into: margaret/trapper, ginger/trapper, almost any threesome with hawk/trap + a lady friend, hawkeye/kyungsoon

Relationships.

Being in a relationship is one of the greatest things to be in (besides in a tank XD) here are some lovely relationships in Earth-66.

SunSlinger (Jon Kent) x Beacon (Kathy Brandon): hinted at in the Superman comics (2016) they meet around the age of 10 (5 while in school on earth-66) after Jon accidentally killed his cat trying to save it from a hawk. (My version is shooting his heat vision at a nearby corn silo after being bullied at school due to sadness & anger)

Robin V (Damian Wayne) x ThunderHeart (Irey West): a long time ago in the early to mid 2000s, there was supposed to be a teen titans/young justice book with some teens, irey, & Damian; the book ends with Irey guiding Damian to the dance floor at a party. So that’s where the fanon ship SpeedDemon started.

FireWing (Jake Grayson) x Leah Williams (civilian): Leah is the unnamed blond wife of Jake’s that was shown at the end of the elseworld series: NightWing: the new order. I gave her the name because her name & Jake’s are from the Bible; whos Jacob’s wife from the book: Leah.

Phantom-Wing (Chris Kent) x NightStar (Mar’i Grayson): hmm I ship these too because both kryptonians & tamareans are pretty similar due to the fact they both get powers from the sun. (Pretty good friends too)

Hello, I'm Disco (I also go by Nat), and I am 23 years old. This blog is mainly for personal use but I do sometimes share my fanfics on here and I'll post the link to my AO3 down below.

I don't think I've done an "about me" thing in a good long while, so sorry if everything is out of format.

To get started, I love Classical music. My favorite composers are Tchaikovsky, Bach, Paganini, Chopin, Schubert, Vivaldi, and Handel.

I absolutely love superheroes and their symbolism (do what's right, no matter what). Some of my favorite superheroes include Captain America, Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, Nightwing, Wondergirl, Orphan, Batgirl, and Green Arrow.

I also love true crime and forensic science. My favorite podcasts are Listening To The Dead, Killer Psyche, Morbid, and Casual Criminalist.

Some of my favorite movies include The Lost Boys (1987), Labyrinth (1986), The Indiana Jones franchise (minus the two newest ones), The Lego Movie, Pride And Prejudice (2005), and Batman (1989).

What I Believe As A Christian

I believe in the Holy Trinity (Matt. 28:19; John 14:26) . I believe the Bible is the God inspired Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16; Romans 15:4; Rom. 10:17), and there is only one God (Is. 44:6; 1 Cor. 8:6; James 2:19). I believe in salvation by grace through the blood of Jesus Christ and by Christ alone (Matt. 26:28; Heb. 9:12; 1 John 2:2; John 14:5-7; Col. 1:19-23; Col. 2:13-15; Rom. 5:6-11). I believe in the perseverance of the saints (Rom. 5:3-5; Gal. 6:9; James 1:2-4; 1 Peter 5:8-9; 2 Cor. 4:16-18). I believe there must be a change in our lives when we receive Christ as our Lord and Savior and we must turn away from our sins (Luke 9:23-26; Luke 6:46-49; John 14:23- 24; Josh. 24:14-25; 2 Cor. 6:17-18; 1 John 1:5-10; Romans 6). My Hobbies

My side hobbies include crocheting, writing, art, cooking, baking, and video gaming. Oh, and reading! I love reading!
