Bruce being abusive towards his sons makes absolutely no sense. (Many of the panels aren’t canon anymore, but still)

Bruce is known to physically and mentally abuse his sons. For example, Dick; he has received the most abuse. (It’s slowly stopped over the years but there are still many recent encounters)

At a very young age Bruce watched his parents die. When Bruce later took Dick in; it was because he didn’t want to see Dick suffer. Bruce had went through the exact same thing. He knew what it was like to have everything you’ve ever known end in an instant. He apparently understood Dick…but then he proceeds to be an abusive piece of shit. That makes no sense at all. Imagine becoming a hero because of your parents death, then taking a child in because you don’t want him to feel the way you did…just to abuse him.

Some writers really need to get their shit together. Bruce being abusive doesn’t make sense because of his backstory and reasonings of become a hero. At this point, we all know Bruce is a huge asshole. Which I guess makes a bit of sense…but being abusive towards his children? That goes against why Bruce even became a hero.

tim: holy shit, jason todd? am i hallucinating? what was that alien weed kon gave me laced with?!

jason hears weed, and laced, coupling with a very high minor and immediately mother hens him into the kitchen so he can get liquids and food into him before he passes out.

the rest of the titans wake up to find the red hood in a surprisingly good 2nd robin cosplay sleeping right next to their robin on a fluffy pink beanbag, while barbie princess and the pauper plays in the background.
